Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
1Password is opening a new flagship office in Toronto, and we need a senior technical leader to own the workplace technology that powers it. As a member of the IT team, this role is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously evolving the technology experience across network infrastructure, AV and collaboration systems, physical security technology, and workplace endpoint services.
This is an onsite, senior individual contributor role based in Toronto, reporting to the Manager of IT Support. You will serve as the company's primary subject matter expert for workplace networking and AV technologies, establishing the technical standards that will be replicated across future office locations. Beyond building the Toronto office, you will provide ongoing engineering leadership, drive technology improvements, mentor Workplace Technology Specialists supporting regional offices, and act as the senior escalation point for complex infrastructure and workplace technology issues. If you enjoy owning systems end to end, building scalable solutions, and solving challenging technical problems, we'd love to hear from you.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is an onsite opportunity within Toronto, Canada.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure, including wired, wireless, routing, switching, and WAN/ISP redundancy using platforms such as Cisco Meraki or Aruba.
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating enterprise workplace AV environments, including video conferencing, room scheduling, multi zone audio, digital signage, and room control systems.
- Experience administering MDM platforms and managing endpoint lifecycle, provisioning, automation, and deployment workflows.
- Experience implementing and supporting physical security technologies, including access control and camera platforms.
- Experience delivering new office builds or major workplace technology projects while coordinating with vendors, contractors, and building management.
- Experience building automation workflows and operational tooling that reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to support office builds, technology standardization, and regional workplace initiatives.
Bonus points for:
- Experience working in a remote first organization supporting distributed workplace infrastructure.
- Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and physical security governance requirements.
- Experience mentoring technical staff and establishing engineering standards across multiple office locations.
What you can expect:
INFRASTRUCTURE
- Design, deploy, and continuously improve the Toronto office network, including wired, wireless, dedicated IT room infrastructure, and redundant internet connectivity with automated failover.
- Serve as the technical owner for workplace networking across the company, developing scalable standards and reference architectures for future office builds.
- Own the physical security technology stack, including access control, camera systems, and integrated workplace technologies.
- Partner with the Security team on governance, compliance, audit requirements, and building integrations while driving long term platform reliability and lifecycle planning.
- Own vendor relationships, technology evaluations, hardware standards, monitoring, capacity planning, and ongoing infrastructure performance across networking, AV, and physical security systems.
- Evaluate emerging workplace technologies and recommend improvements that enhance reliability, scalability, and employee experience.
WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE
- Design, deploy, and continuously optimize AV and collaboration technologies across a variety of meeting spaces, including video conferencing, room scheduling, multi zone audio, digital displays, and proactive monitoring.
- Own the technology behind the end to end onboarding experience for Toronto employees, including device provisioning, MDM workflows, automation, deployment standards, and lifecycle management.
- Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex networking, AV, workplace infrastructure, and endpoint issues, while providing hands on support when required.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to Workplace Technology Specialists supporting other regional office locations, helping establish consistent engineering and operational standards across the company.
- Build and maintain engineering documentation, runbooks, architecture diagrams, automation workflows, and operational standards.
- Provide onsite coverage for workplace technology operations during planned absences and support additional office builds and major technology initiatives as needed.
What success looks like:
- The Toronto office launches with resilient, well designed networking, AV, and physical security systems that become the blueprint for future 1Password offices.
- Workplace infrastructure continues to evolve through proactive engineering, monitoring, automation, and lifecycle improvements rather than reactive support.
- Regional Workplace Technology Specialists are enabled through mentorship, documentation, and standardized engineering practices.
- Employees have a seamless workplace technology experience, while complex technical issues are resolved through thoughtful engineering solutions.
- Routine operational work becomes increasingly automated, allowing more time to focus on strategic infrastructure improvements and future office expansion.
Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $93,000 CAD and $130,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.

We are a global algorithmic trading firm with an advanced technology stack, driving the full trading cycle — from market research and strategy design to algorithm development and software engineering. Our strength lies in deep market expertise and the continuous evolution of our infrastructure to stay ahead of the industry.
Responsibilities:
— Work through high-level business and technical requirements with the product, trading, and engineering teams, then build the resulting platform features.
— Design, build, and maintain core platform components in Rust: exchange and broker gateways, data pipelines, monitoring tools, and algo trading infrastructure.
— Optimize latency, throughput, and stability based on measurements and load testing. Low latency, reliability, and determinism are hard requirements.
— Add observability to new components (metrics, logs, tracing, alerts, dashboards) so execution issues get caught early.
— Diagnose incidents in the trading loop, find the root cause, write up the analysis, and fix the problem so it does not recur.
— Ensure quality through automated (unit, integration, performance) and manual testing with QA, and maintain the test harnesses and integration suites that validate scenarios before production.
— Document modules, service contracts, integration rules, and operational runbooks.
— Help design and decompose features and epics, taking the product and trading side and operational risk into account.
Qualifications:
— 5+ years of relevant experience building low-latency, high-reliability systems.
— Extensive experience in Rust.
— Good understanding of computer systems and software architecture: Linux, networking, data structures and algorithms, concurrent and parallel programming, distributed computing, and performance optimization.
— Strong engineering fundamentals and a preference for readable, maintainable code and sensible testing.
— Takes ownership of tasks through to production and works to clear blockers, including pushing peers when needed.
— Higher technical education or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have:
— Familiarity with a trading domain: market data, trading protocols, operational risk.
What we offer:
— Remote-first: work from anywhere.
— Tech-driven environment: no bureaucracy, legacy systems, or tech debt.
— Growth & development: work with top talent in a fast-paced, innovation-driven culture.
— Perks: medical insurance, sports benefits, home office setup, and educational support.

About the Opportunity
As a Staff Engineer, y
ou'll own the
build-out of our security engineering
and DevSecOps capabilities: designing
and developing the security
products, platform services, and
SDKs/Agents that embed protection
directly into how code is
written, built, shipped,
and run.
This is a
role for someone with
real depth in security,
broad coverage across the
stack, and the engineering
muscle to ship. Just as important is
the ability to drive
adoption — security that
lands in complex,
fast-moving business environments
rather than sitting in a
policy document.
What You’ll Be Doing
Architect and build our end-to-end DevSecOps platform
and the SDKs/Agents behind our security products, covering code, build, artifacts, images, deployment, and runtime.
Lead runtime protection through RASP and Java Agent
— bytecode instrumentation, runtime hooking, and detection/interception engines using ASM, ByteBuddy, and Instrumentation, with continuous tuning for performance, stability, and compatibility.
Integrate and productise scanning capabilities
across SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, code scanning, and image scanning. You'll embed tools like SonarQube and Coverity deep into CI/CD and close the loop from detection through blocking, remediation, and re-test.
Go deep on application security offence and defence
— designing detection, remediation, hardening, and counter-measures for XSS, SQL injection, SSRF, deserialisation, command execution, authentication/authorisation flaws, and API security.
Bring AI-native security engineering to life.
Apply LLMs and AI Agents to vulnerability analysis, rule generation, false-positive attribution, remediation guidance, security knowledge capture, and engineering automation — and build a coherent view of the architecture, mechanics, and security implications.
Embed as the security technical expert inside engineering teams,
driving security standards, onboarding specifications, release gates, risk tiering, and remediation mechanisms that measurably lift the security baseline and delivery quality.
Partner across engineering, architecture, SRE, QA, and business teams
on priority projects, solving the genuinely hard security problems and turning the solutions into reusable platform capability and repeatable practice.
What We Look For In You
Strong computer science and security fundamentals
— deep understanding of operating systems, networking, compilers and the JVM, distributed systems, application security, cloud-native security, and supply chain security. Both breadth and depth.
Expert-level Java,
with hands-on depth in the JVM, ClassLoader, Java Agent, ASM, ByteBuddy, bytecode instrumentation, and performance profiling and tuning. Plus working proficiency in Python or Go.
Substantial production experience with RASP, SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, image security, and code scanning
— enough to design a capability, integrate the engine, build the platform around it, and take it to scale independently.
Real offensive and defensive experience.
You understand the root causes, exploitation paths, detection logic, bypass techniques, and fixes for common web, API, and microservices vulnerabilities — and can design from both the attacker's and defender's point of view.
Fluency with LLMs and AI Agents,
including a considered view on model capability limits, agent architecture, tool calling, context engineering, evaluation methods, and how AI is reshaping both security engineering and the attack surface.
Strong engineering execution paired with product instinct
— able to lead the design and delivery of security products, platform modules, and SDKs/Agents while balancing security outcomes against performance overhead, integration cost, and long-term operability.
Exceptional ownership,
cross-team communication, and the persistence to move security governance, rule enforcement, and remediation through to a clear result.
Nice to Haves
Security engineering experience at a top-tier internet company, cloud provider, or leading security vendor
You've led the build of a DevSecOps platform, application security platform, RASP, code scanning platform, or cloud-native security platform
Background in security product development, SDK/Agent engineering, vulnerability research, red team exercises, or purple team work
Shipped AI + Security work — security copilots, intelligent rule generation, automated analysis, or remediation recommendation systems
Perks &
Benefits
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
Various team building programs and company events
Wellness and meal allowances
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a talented Integration Manager who can work with new and existing game partners and help get out tools, products, and services working inside their games. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical and people skills, reasonable design and UX sensibility, and some understanding of how payments in gaming "should" work. You should have experience playing games. Applicants should expect to assist developers and technical personnel rapidly debug their technical issues and escalate or transfer as necessary - for this reason, ability to quickly diagnose basic technical issues and provide proper documentation is a must.
If you’re passionate about driving business growth, supporting game developers, and expanding the reach of innovative gaming solutions, we would love to hear from you!
This role will be based out of our Japan office but can be hybrid or fully remote depending on the situation.
ABOUT US
At Xsolla, we believe that great games begin as ideas, driven by the curiosity, dedication, and grit of creators around the world. Our mission is to empower these visionaries by providing the support and resources they need to bring their games to life. We are committed to leveling the playing field, ensuring that every creator has the opportunity to share their passion with the world.
Headquartered in Los Angeles, with offices in Berlin, Seoul, and beyond, we partner with industry leaders like Valve, Twitch, and Ubisoft to clear the paths for innovation in gaming. Our global reach spans over 200 geographies, offering more than 700 payment methods in 130+ currencies.
Longevity Opportunity Vision Enjoy the game!
Job Purpose
The Integration Manager is Xsolla's front-line technical partner for game studios — a hybrid role blending pre-sales engineering, technical support, and customer success. You'll work directly with new and existing game partners to get Xsolla's products, tools, and APIs working inside their games, from the first technical conversation through go-live and beyond. You'll lead client-facing meetings and demos, translate business needs into technical requirements, troubleshoot integration issues hands-on (logs, API calls, JSON payloads, webhook events), and act as the connective tissue between the client, Business Development, Customer Success, and Engineering.
Responsibilities
Client-Facing & Pre-Sales
Lead and confidently run client meetings, calls, and technical demos independently, without needing a BD or CS lead to carry the conversation
Act as the primary technical point of contact during pre-sales and onboarding, scoping integration requirements and setting realistic expectations
Present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders (engineers, producers, executives)
Technical Integration & Troubleshooting
Guide partners through API integration, including authentication, request/response structures, JSON payloads, and webhook configuration and delivery
Diagnose issues using data dumps, technical logs, and API traces; distinguish integration errors from platform bugs
Write and interpret basic scripts or API calls (e.g., via Postman, curl) to reproduce and isolate client-reported issues
Document issues concisely and completely enough for engineering to act on without back-and-forth
Know when to resolve an issue directly versus escalate to Engineering, Product, or Support, and manage that handoff cleanly
Cross-Functional Communication
Serve as the communication hub between Client, Business Development, Customer Success, and Development teams, ensuring nothing gets lost in translation between technical and commercial priorities
Provide clear, well-organized status updates to internal stakeholders and clients throughout the integration lifecycle
Maintain accurate documentation in Jira, Confluence, and related tools
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field
3+ years of experience in technical integration, solutions engineering, or a client-facing technical role
Demonstrated ability to lead client meetings and presentations independently — this is not a support-only or backend role
Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks; able to read API documentation, interpret payloads, and troubleshoot integration failures independently
Comfortable using tools like Postman (or equivalent) to test and debug API calls
Near-native fluency in both Korean and English, written and verbal; able to confidently lead client presentations and meetings and write professional business emails in either language without support (daily cross-team communication is in English)
Proven customer service or client relationship experience
Comfortable working with high autonomy, shifting priorities, and a significant workload
Strong attention to detail and time management
Nice to Have
Prior experience in the gaming industry, payments, or fintech
Experience with Confluence, Jira, and G Suite
Prior experience at a foreign or international company, or working across time zones with global teams
Genuine interest in games (as a player) and the gaming industry
