We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Open to hiring remote across North America and London — we also have offices in NYC, San Francisco, Seattle, and London.
We're building a tool that makes content creation easy and accessible for all types of creatives. Our users love it. Runway has an actively engaged and growing community of passionate artists and creators worldwide. And we're scaling the systems behind our support team so we can keep delivering delightful experiences as that community grows.
We're looking for a Support Systems Engineer who ships production code, not tickets and specs: someone who takes a fix from proposal to merged PR themselves. This role reports directly to the Head of Customer Experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own the AI support agent, our ticketing system and other Support tools end to end: authentication (JWT), response logic, routing, escalation paths and tone, tested in staging before it sees live traffic
- Ship daily product changes that remove ticket volume. Recent example: extending automatic refund eligibility to one-click credit purchases, accidental upgrades and month-based proration on annual terms
- Build and maintain internal CX tooling as real software, not one-offs: scripts, jobs, dashboards, admin surfaces
- Run QA and evals with real test suites and pass/fail rubrics, plus monitoring and alerts for outages, bugs and volume spikes
- Own releases: staged rollouts, a regression suite before every ship, clear rollback criteria, a writeup when something reaches production
- Build the CX reporting the org runs on: volume, deflection, CSAT, reply and resolution time, escalation accuracy, agent spend. You own the correctness and availability of the queries.
- Build and stage the guardrails on refunds, account changes and anything touching money or PII, including the audit trail
- Keep the knowledge base accurate and structured for the agent to parse, and manage the handoff into the ticketing system
- Keep the CX roadmap and the coverage model current, sequenced against priorities set by the Head of CX, so gaps show up before they bite
- Run the day-to-day with our AI platform vendor: weekly working session, joint roadmap, issues filed with reproductions
- Carry signal across teams: Product and Engineering on bugs and rollouts, Customer Education on self-serve, community on Discord and the forums, GTM and Analytics on routing and reporting
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 5+ years in Customer Experience, Support Engineering or Support Operations, with real time spent writing code
- You ship production code in codebases you didn't write: read TypeScript, trace logic through someone else's service, put up a PR that survives review. Our stack is TypeScript and Node.js on AWS
- Hands-on experience building and tuning AI or LLM-powered support workflows: prompt and context engineering, routing, escalation design, evals
- SQL experience. You own the reporting, so you shouldn't be waiting on Analytics for it
- Code-level experience with a billing or payments API: invoices, prorations, refunds. A large share of consumer tickets live here
- Git, PR review, CI, staging and feature flags as your default way of working
- Real QA and eval experience: you can define rubrics, build test suites and calibrate against what good looks like
- Judgment about where a fix belongs, in code, in the agent or in the knowledge base
- A track record carrying signal between support, product and other functions and turning it into action
- Comfort managing your own work in a fast-moving environment, high ownership and high autonomy
- Genuine interest in AI, creative tools or both
WHAT SETS YOU APART
The most successful person in this role treats the agent and the systems around it like a product they own. They watch where it fails, ship the fix and check whether it worked. They build reporting people actually use. And they show up with improvements no one asked for yet.
FOR YOUR APPLICATION
During our interview process, you'll have several chances to get acquainted with the Runway product and use all the features our team has built, and that starts now. As part of your application, instead of a cover letter, we ask that you try out the Runway product, specifically build a custom workflow.
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.

An overview of this role
As a Senior Developer Advocate at GitLab, you'll help technical audiences understand and use our intelligent orchestration platform where teams and their AI agents ship secure software faster. You'll go deep on the product, especially GitLab Duo Agent Platform and our newer capabilities, and continuously discover real-world workflows that teams care about. You'll turn that hands-on knowledge into demos, blog posts, videos, and presentations, and bring what you learn from customers and the developer community back to GitLab.
This role focuses on showing the product in action and building relationships with customers and the community. You'll help cover events and work across U.S. and Canadian time zones.
What you'll do
Deeply understand GitLab's platform, especially our AI agent capabilities, and continuously find productive, real-world use cases worth showing.
Create product content, including videos, blog posts, presentations, and social clips that show key use cases for GitLab in the user interface and terminal.
Produce video content end to end: script, record, and edit product walkthroughs and demos, and collaborate with GitLab's video team on longer or higher-production pieces.
Deliver product demos and participate in analyst briefings.
Engage with customers through webinars, customer meetings, and other conversations.
Participate in the developer community by engaging on the GitLab forum and Discord, following the conversations happening on social platforms, in newsletters, and at events, and making sure GitLab has a voice in the ones that matter.
Answer technical questions that come through the sales team, and partner with support, sales, and product on developer-facing educational content.
Use hands-on product experience to share feedback with product teams and test new features.
Contribute to technical research and analysis of the developer tools landscape.
Travel requirement up to 20% for events and customer meetings.
What you'll bring
Hands-on technical experience. You understand how software gets built, with a focus on everything that happens after code is written, and can talk about it credibly with engineers.

The ability to explain technical products clearly. You can demo a product, record a walkthrough, or speak at a conference without it feeling forced.
Fluency in developer social platforms. You know what's interesting to the people we're trying to reach and can participate in the conversation with credibility.
Curiosity and self-direction. You're already finding the next thing worth talking about, following the right people, and noticing opportunities.
Experience engaging with customers, developers, or technical communities.
Ability to work independently and collaborate across sales, engineering, product, and other teams.
About the team
The Developer Advocacy team creates content that shows GitLab in use, engages with customers and the developer community, and brings hands-on product feedback to GitLab teams. The team also contributes technical research and analysis, while partnering with other groups to share its findings.

Why Sony Interactive Entertainment?
Sony Interactive Entertainment isn’t just the Best Place to Play — it’s also the Best Place to Work. Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is the company behind the PlayStation brand. As a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, we’re part of a proud legacy of innovation and excellence. SIE is a dynamic technology company, delivering cutting-edge hardware and network services to more than 100 million people and an entertainment leader, home to some of the most beloved and recognizable intellectual properties (IP) in the world. Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.
Role overview
We're looking for a Staff Network Systems Engineer to help drive the transition of our global network infrastructure from manually managed and inconsistent configurations to a standardised, version-controlled and increasingly automated operating model.
This hands-on staff-level individual contributor will establish Infrastructure as Code practices, reusable automation, automated validation and safe delivery pipelines. The role will reduce configuration drift, make changes repeatable and auditable, and help the wider team adopt modern software-engineering practices.
Working across network engineering, security, architecture and platform teams, you'll help frame and influence technical direction, create practical standards and guardrails, and remain actively involved in enterprise network engineering and operational delivery.
What you'll be doing:
Assess the network estate, toolchain and operational workflows; identify sources of configuration variance, manual effort and change risk; and help define a phased modernisation roadmap.
Establish the Infrastructure as Code operating model, including the authoritative source of truth, configuration standards, source control, peer review, testing, release governance and secure handling of credentials.
Build reusable automation using object-oriented or comparable programming languages such as Python and Go (Golang), together with Terraform, Ansible, APIs and configuration-management tooling.
Develop CI/CD pipelines with automated linting, testing, intended-state validation, drift detection, policy checks, approvals, controlled rollout and reliable rollback patterns.
Partner with engineering, architecture and security teams to translate network intent into version-controlled implementations and influence reference architectures, standards, lifecycle plans and service roadmaps.
Lead the safe migration of existing services into the automated model while remaining hands-on during complex delivery, business-as-usual operations, critical changes, troubleshooting and major incidents.
Participate in technical authority and design-review forums, mentor engineers, and ensure automation becomes a sustainable team capability rather than knowledge held by a single specialist.
What we are looking for:
A strong track record of modernising network infrastructure through automation or Infrastructure as Code in a large, complex production environment.
Strong software-engineering skills in object-oriented or comparable programming languages such as Python and Go (Golang), including maintainable code, structured data, API integration, testing, error handling and documentation.
Practical experience with Terraform, Ansible or comparable tooling, including reusable, idempotent automation components and controlled infrastructure delivery.
Strong working knowledge of Git, pull-request workflows, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release controls, policy enforcement and secrets management.
Deep enterprise networking knowledge across routing, switching, wireless, resilient design, network access control and secure remote connectivity, together with advanced Juniper Mist, EX Series and Junos experience or equivalent platform expertise.
Expert troubleshooting and engineering judgement, with experience supporting operational delivery, complex changes, major incidents and root-cause improvement.
Staff-level influence and communication skills, including shaping technical direction across teams, building consensus, contributing to governance forums and developing other engineers.
Desirable Experience
Network APIs and data models, including REST, NETCONF, RESTCONF, JSON, YAML and YANG-based workflows.
GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, automated policy enforcement, artefact management and developer enablement.
Azure or AWS networking, enterprise authentication, Zero Trust principles and network observability platforms.
Architecture governance, technical authority panels, strategic vendor engagement and globally delivered service operations.
High-availability gaming, digital-media, creative or similarly demanding production environments.
Work Expectations and Measures of Success
This is a staff-level role combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership across a global network environment. You'll build production automation, guide others and remain engaged with operational delivery. The objective is to establish an engineering system the team can operate and improve over time while maintaining secure, resilient and supportable network services.
Success will be demonstrated through:
Increased coverage of network infrastructure managed through version-controlled automation.
Reduced configuration drift, manual intervention, operational toil and dependency on individual subject-matter experts.
Shorter and more predictable change lead times, with improved auditability, validation and rollback confidence.
Lower change-failure rates, maintained service reliability and faster recovery from configuration-related incidents.
Sustained adoption of automation standards, modules and delivery practices across the wider engineering team.
At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
In addition, this role is eligible for SIE’s top-tier benefits package that includes paid time off, wellness program and coveted employee discounts for Sony products. This role also may be eligible for a bonus package. Click

Base $109,400 - $164,000 + Bonus & Benefits.
Please note, Sony Interactive Entertainment conducts background checks at the offer stage for all new employees (which may include criminal background checks for some roles) and will need to process personal information to support these checks.
Please refer to our Candidate Privacy Notice (where applicable) for more information about what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your data protection rights.

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
Consumer Trading is a full-stack team behind the Consumer experience in Kraken mobile and web applications. Our flagship product allows our clients to instantly buy, sell, convert any combination of stocks, cryptocurrencies and cash. We are constantly working on extending the product suite with new features and improvements.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Own the connective tissue between marketing and product at Kraken Consumer — a remit with real scope to shape how millions of people discover and return to our products.
- Build something from the ground up: the roadmap, the intake model and the standards for how marketing and product work together are all yours to define.
- Sit at the centre of the acquisition funnel, where small improvements in conversion compound into meaningful growth.
- Unlock new acquisition channels by building the product surfaces they depend on — paid social, search, affiliates and offline campaigns.
- Shape a fast-growing mobile acquisition motion, including in-product social, creator partnerships, community and friend-referral mechanics.
- Own both halves of the lifecycle: bringing new users in, and giving existing users compelling reasons to come back.
- Work in one of the most competitive corners of consumer fintech, where conversion craft and product quality genuinely decide who wins.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Own the marketing product roadmap end to end, and build the process that turns campaign ideas into shipped product work.
- Design and launch tailored campaign experiences — the in-app and web journeys users land in from push, email, social and paid.
- Raise the bar on lifecycle messaging so push and email feel useful rather than noisy, and convert accordingly.
- Own the incentives layer for new and returning users: offers, referral mechanics, recurring deposits and earn-led campaigns.
- Apply user psychology and sharp UX thinking to find where the funnel leaks, then run the experiments that close the gaps.
- Improve landing page and search performance, and build the product foundations that make paid and offline channels measurable and worth the spend.
- Partner with marketing, design, engineering and data as the single point of ownership for growth enablement.
- Define the acquisition and reactivation metrics that matter, and report on them honestly — including when an experiment doesn't land.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.
As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we're delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we're building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It's an exciting time to join us: we're creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
About the Role
Fivetran and dbt Labs are building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We're looking for a senior software engineer to join our Orchestration team, which owns the control plane layer of the dbt platform — the scheduler, execution harness, and results processing.
You'll own the design and delivery of features end to end, working across high-throughput APIs and data models to make them faster, more reliable, and more capable. You'll write and review designs, raise the quality bar in code review, use the latest AI tools, and collaborate closely with product and QE to deliver work that scales.
Technologies You'll Use
Python, Rust, GraphQL, Postgres, Snowflake, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, Datadog
What You'll Do
Design and implement features and performance improvements across the Orchestration team's services — the scheduler, execution harness, and results processing
Develop, maintain, and test high-quality, maintainable code, and optimize critical paths for performance
Write technical designs for feature-level work, actively seek feedback, and clearly explain the trade-offs of your decisions
Participate in and review technical designs and pull requests, providing constructive feedback to the team
Improve test coverage with comprehensive unit tests and refactor code to drive down tech debt
Troubleshoot and debug production issues, and follow up on incidents with post-mortems and mitigation plans
Break features into tasks, structure and execute your own project plans, and contribute to sprint and feature planning
Collaborate with product managers, QE, customer support, and peers to deliver the best product with high quality, performance, and scalability
Participate periodically in the on-call rotation, and be mindful of security throughout your work
Use AI tooling — IDE assistants like GitHub Copilot, coding agents like Claude Code, and conversational AI — to accelerate development and to author and review SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Skills We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in the software industry with a passion for solving complex software engineering problems, including designing and building backend services and reusable components from the ground up
Experience working with distributed systems and cloud computing concepts
Demonstrated ability to write well-structured, performant, and well-tested code
Ability to independently lead feature-level software and design work that satisfies project requirements, and to clearly explain design trade-offs
Can identify design flaws in existing systems and propose improvements
Experience with code reviews, design, troubleshooting, and testing
Proficiency in a modern backend or systems language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with continuous integration tooling such as BuildKite, and familiarity with observability tools like Datadog or Grafana is a plus
Fluent in using AI code assistants and coding agents to generate and investigate code, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to research, author, review, and synthesize SDLC artifacts
Bonus Skills
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based data platforms
Experience building or working with metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem

About Niantic Spatial
AI has learned from almost everything online, but it still struggles with the physical world, where 99.5% of economic activity happens. It doesn’t know where things are, how spaces fit together, or what changes over time.
That’s one of the biggest unsolved problems in AI, and it’s the one we’re solving at Niantic Spatial. We build spatial AI models and services so people and machines can reason, learn and act safely in the physical world. We turn camera imagery, video, sensor data and archives into accurate, AI-readable representations of real places that robots can train in and machines can use to know exactly where they are.
In physical AI, mistakes have real consequences. That’s why we build AI grounded in measured reality, not guesswork, so the people and machines relying on it can trust it to get things right.
Our team built some of the world’s most widely used maps. Now we’re building something bigger: a living, measured record of the real world that machines can query, learn from and use to understand how places change over time. If you want to help AI understand the world we actually live in, come build with us.
About the Role
Niantic Spatial makes the physical world computable, helping people and machines collaborate safely by aligning how they understand reality. One of the fundamental problems we're helping autonomy teams and engineers overcome is the sim-to-real gap for visual-spatial understanding. We're applying our team's decades of experience encoding the world precisely as it is at Google Maps, Google Earth, and Niantic Labs to build the scalable real-to-sim stack for embodied AI.
Niantic Spatial's R&D Team in London is seeking a Research Scientist to push the frontiers of Spatial AI, advancing our Large Geospatial Model as a dedicated member of the Embodied AI group. You will invent and develop algorithms and systems that sit at the cross-section of computer vision, machine learning, AI, graphics, and robotics.
We're passionate about discovery, so we're looking for scientists who want to learn, publish, teach, and deploy every new invention.
What You'll Do
- Develop New Spatial Representations - Develop new spatial representations that embodied AI can learn from, train in, and act on.
- Advance Real-to-Sim Pipelines - Advance real-to-sim pipelines connecting real-world observations, 3D reconstruction, simulation, and robotic policy learning.
- Solve Emerging Spatial Problems - Solve emerging problems that relate to spatial intelligence, 3D scene representation, training data, model efficiency, and interactive systems.
- Take Capabilities Through to Evidence - Take new capabilities through to evidence: what changed for the policy, not only what changed in the reconstruction.
- Build Prototypes - Build proof of concept prototypes, initially for internal use, where some will need to run at production scale on customer data.
- Collaborate Across Research and Product - Collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, and product partners to bring novel models to production.
- Publish Your Work - Publish and present your work.
What You'll Bring
- A PhD in computer vision, robotics, graphics, machine learning, or a related field, or equivalent research experience, with a publication record at top venues.
- Substantial expertise in robotics or embodied AI, including experience in sim-to-real transfer, domain randomization, policy evaluation, and simulation-based learning.
- Deep experience with 3D scene representations: Gaussian splatting, neural fields, meshes, point clouds, or implicit representations.
- You have applied generative or diffusion models to 3D data, such as scene completion, inpainting, relighting, or novel view synthesis from sparse capture.

About WorkOS 🚀
WorkOS builds modern developer tools and APIs that make it easy for companies to become Enterprise Ready. Our platform powers authentication, identity, authorization, and other critical infrastructure that developers need to securely scale their products to large organizations.
We recently raised a $100M Series C, valuing the company at $2B, led by Meritech and Sapphire with participation from Greenoaks, Craft, Abstract, and Audacious. WorkOS powers enterprise features for many of the fastest-growing AI companies, including OpenAI, Cursor, and Perplexity, Sierra, and Plaid.
As AI reshapes software, WorkOS is at the frontier of Human and Agent Authentication, Identity, and Access Control helping companies answer a new critical question: who are your agents, and what are they allowed to do? Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products.
ABOUT THE SECURITY PLATFORM TEAM
The Infrastructure Security team provides and supports the primitives that enable engineering to securely build applications and meet compliance obligations, while abstracting away the underlying complexity for the best possible developer experience.
Our work centers on workload identity and authorization: how internal applications authenticate to each other and to the services they depend on, and how that access is granted and enforced. We're replacing static secrets with short-lived identity credentials, bringing identity-based authentication to the services engineers use every day, and unifying how authorization is managed across the company.
We're a platform engineering team with a security mission. We measure success by the security outcomes we enable and by how much engineers enjoy building on what we ship — the secure path should be the easiest path.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A platform builder. You love building infrastructure that other engineers rely on every day, and you sweat the developer experience details that make adoption effortless.
- Fluent in service-to-service auth. You know authentication and authorization deeply: JWTs, X.509 certificates, and when to reach for each.
- A systems thinker. You reason carefully about bootstrapping, circular dependencies, availability, and failure modes, especially for infrastructure that everything else depends on.
- A pragmatic migrator. You know that shipping the primitive is half the job. You can drive adoption across many teams, meet them where they are, and retire the legacy path.
- A strong partner to engineering. You build trust with engineers by understanding their priorities and making security frictionless.
- Excited about AI. You're embracing AI and automation to scale platform work and reduce toil.
- Curious and humble. You ask the basic questions, enjoy untangling complex systems, and bring others along with you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build workload identity infrastructure. Make short-lived identity credentials a default part of every application's runtime environment, in partnership with application platform owners.
- Bring identity-based authentication to internal services. Work with the owners of major internal dependencies to support identity certificates, make them the golden path for newly onboarding applications, and drive migration of existing ones.
- Eliminate static secrets. Replace all static passwords and service tokens with short-lived identity credentials, and build identity-authenticated egress proxies and API abstractions that inject and automatically rotate managed secrets for the external dependencies that still require them.
- Unify authorization. Build a single interface and framework through which authorization policies are centrally managed and enforced.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on security-related platform, infrastructure, or distributed systems.
- Strong working knowledge of secrets management, fine-grained authorization, and workload identity systems.
- Familiarity with the Kubernetes ecosystem and authentication/authorization technologies such as JWTs, X.509 certificates, PKI, cert-manager, SPIFFE/SPIRE, and OPA.
- Experience building and operating production infrastructure that other teams depend on, with attention to availability and failure modes.
- Proven ability to drive cross-team adoption of platform capabilities or lead large-scale migrations.
Benefits and Perks (US Only) 💖
At WorkOS, we offer resources that emphasize personal and familial well-being. We offer healthcare coverage for you and your family, including medical, dental, and vision. We offer parental leave, paid-time off and fully remote working arrangements.

About the team
We’re the AI & Automation Engineering team. Our mission is to make life easier for every internal team through automation, from standalone tools to Operational Hub, the unified platform we’re building to house all the automation tools each department needs. We work directly with Growth, Strategy & Planning, Client Service, Operations, and Data & Solutions (among others), so most of what you build is used by the people you work with every day.
The team today is small: a Product Manager, a Full-Stack Engineer, and an AI Implementation Engineer. But the company is growing very fast, and so is our team.
About the role
We’re looking for a
Middle AI Implementation Engineer
who thrives at the intersection of automation, AI-assisted development, and practical tool-building. You’ll work alongside our existing engineers to design, build, and maintain the internal tools and automated workflows that power day-to-day operations across the company.
The work is hands-on and fast-moving: you’ll turn business needs into working solutions using n8n, LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI), and AI-assisted development tools like Replit and Claude Code.
If you build with AI, want real ownership over features, and want to work closely with the people who use what you build, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain n8n workflows that automate internal business processes.
Troubleshoot and improve existing automations to keep them reliable, efficient, and easy to maintain.
Develop and launch lightweight internal tools using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and Replit.
Integrate systems and services through APIs and webhooks, including LLM APIs such as Claude and OpenAI.
Work directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into practical solutions.
Test tools and workflows, gather user feedback, and deliver improvements as business needs evolve.
Contribute new features to the team’s Operational Hub and collaborate with engineers on technical decisions.
Take ownership of assigned projects, from requirements gathering through launch and ongoing support.
2+ years of professional experience in QA (preferred), analytics, or project management. Hands-on programming skills are also welcome.
Hands-on experience building, debugging, and maintaining workflows in n8n or Make.com.
Ability to build and ship functional applications using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Replit, Cursor, or similar.
A working understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data flows, with the ability to troubleshoot integration issues.
Basic proficiency in SQL, ideally BigQuery, including reading and working with structured data.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to understand business processes, clarify requirements, and translate them into practical tools and automations.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, willingness to learn, and ownership of your work.
Nice to have
Experience with Google APIs, particularly Sheets, Drive, and Calendar.
Familiarity with Clerk or similar authentication and authorization tools.
Knowledge of React or basic frontend development.
Experience integrating Slack, Asana, HubSpot, or similar business tools.
Experience in AdTech or MarTech.
Portfolio
If we move forward after the initial HR interview, we’ll ask you to share a portfolio of tools or automations you’ve delivered. Please highlight their measurable business impact and explain your personal contribution to each project.

We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI.
