AI Growth Ops

Location: United Kingdom; Brazil; United Arab Emirates; Ireland; Peru; Sweden; Colombia; Argentina; Romania; Cyprus; Switzerland; Portugal; Lithuania; South Africa; Czech Republic; Canada; Hungary; Mexico; Chile; Poland; Spain; Bulgaria Workplace: Remote BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system. Before you apply, we encourage you to explore our culture page https://www.kraken.com/culture to understand what drives us and how we work. THE TEAM Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.   Growth at Kraken is being rebuilt around an AI-native platform. Instead of people manually building audiences, writing copy, adjusting budgets, and scheduling sends, agents find opportunities, make decisions, and execute across paid, organic, and lifecycle channels. They learn from every result and keep going. People still run the system. Operators use a central hub to set the rules the agents follow, review and approve what they produce, and handle exceptions when something doesn’t fit. The platform also has to work across many markets and languages, and it operates in a regulated industry, so there are compliance checks and approval steps built in. The team is a small, cross-functional group of growth, product, and engineering people who build this platform and run it day to day. We ship often, learn fast, and raise the quality bar with every release. You will work most closely with the engineers building the platform, the product team defining how operators use it, and the operators who rely on it every day. QA and operations is how the whole team knows the platform can be trusted.   THE OPPORTUNITY You will own day-to-day operations and QA for our internal growth platform. You test it, catch problems before our customers do, keep approvals and exception queues moving, and report on how it’s performing. You will work closely with product, engineering and operators to make sure the platform works and keeps working. - This is a hands-on, detail-focused role. You will spend your days in the product, testing what’s new, checking what should already work, and writing up what you find so it gets fixed. - Test the platform regularly. Cover new releases, rule changes, and edge cases, and run regression checks to make sure existing features still work. - Find bugs and document them clearly, with steps to reproduce, severity, and impact. Follow them through until engineering fixes them and you’ve verified the fix. - Monitor platform performance and agent activity, flag anything that looks wrong, and escalate it to the right person. - Work the approval queues daily. Keep items moving and make sure nothing is left unreviewed. - Check agent output against defined checklists and standards, and escalate anything unclear or risky.Note where flows are confusing or inconsistent, and flag them to the team. - Write and maintain documentation: test plans, QA checklists, runbooks, and release notes.   WHAT YOU BRING - Experience in QA, testing, operations, support, or analytics, ideally on a software product or complex system - Exceptional attention to detail. You notice what others miss and double-check your work. - A structured approach to testing. You can create and follow a test plan, and think about what could break. - Clear written communication. Your bug reports and documentation should be easy for anyone to follow. - Comfort with data. You can read a dashboard and tell when a number looks off. - Fast learner. You pick up new tools and systems quickly and ask thoughtful questions. - AI-native habits. You use AI tools in your own work every day, and you’re curious about where they get things wrong. - Prompt engineering curiosity, you don't need to be an engineer, but you are willing to learn how to communicate with AI systems precisely and improve their outputs - Reliability. You keep to a routine, keep your queues clear, and tell people early when something is stuck.   NICE TO HAVES - Experience testing software products or AI and LLM-based tools - Familiarity with Jira, Mixpanel, or similar tools - Exposure to marketing, CRM, or lifecycle messaging workflows - Interest in fintech or crypto Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution. We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance. OUR COMMITMENT Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto. We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Senior Security Engineer - xStocks

Location: Poland; Brazil; Peru; Sweden; Argentina; Romania; Cyprus; Czech Republic; Hungary; Mexico; Chile; Bulgaria Workplace: Remote BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system. Before you apply, we encourage you to explore our culture page https://www.kraken.com/culture to understand what drives us and how we work. THE TEAM xStocks brings real-world assets on-chain as tokenized securities that are regulated, fully-backed, and tradable across multiple blockchains. Built within Payward, the xStocks team runs the infrastructure that issues, custodies, and settles these instruments across EVM, Solana, TON, Tron, and more. The platform moves real value, so security is not a feature bolted on at the end. It is a property of everything the team ships. This is a hybrid engineering and security seat built for someone who is genuinely both: you ship products alongside the engineering team when the security queue is quiet, and you own security work end to end when it lands. You report into engineering and partner closely with the Payward security, CISO, and compliance functions. THE OPPORTUNITY - Own security deliverables end to end. Coordinate and review smart-contract audits, respond to security questionnaires and due-diligence requests, support CISO and compliance initiatives, and turn findings into tracked, closed-out fixes. - Run offensive assessments against our own platforms. Pentest the web apps, APIs, backend services, and on-chain components, and build the tooling to do it repeatedly rather than once. - Continuously assess posture. Threat-model new and existing systems, review architecture and key-management flows, and maintain a living view of the risks and their mitigations. - Review code for security. Be a default reviewer on changes touching auth, cryptography, custody, signing, and fund movement across our chains. - Harden the platform. Improve secrets handling, IAM and least-privilege, dependency and supply-chain hygiene, and detection and logging for security-relevant events. - Secure custody and signing workflows. Review and harden transaction signing flows, MPC and HSM integrations, signer permissions, admin roles, approval policies, and break-glass procedures. - Contribute to product engineering. Pick up regular backlog work in TypeScript so you stay close to the codebase you are defending. - Support incidents. Help with detection, triage, response, and post-mortems, and feed the lessons back into the program. WHAT YOU BRING - An engineer first. You write and review production code comfortably, TypeScript and Node.js in our stack, and you understand systems deeply enough to break them. - Strong application and infrastructure security fundamentals. The OWASP-class vulnerability landscape, authn and authz, injection, SSRF, supply-chain risk, and secure design. You have done real offensive work in pentesting, vuln research, or red-team. - Applied cryptography and blockchain security. Symmetric and asymmetric primitives, hashing, signatures, and key management, plus the security model of EVM, Solana, and ideally TON or Tron. You can read a smart contract and reason about how it fails. - Ownership. You can take an ambiguous security item, an audit, a questionnaire, or an incident, and drive it to closure without being managed through it. - Clear communication. You can explain a risk to engineers, to a CISO, and to an auditor, and tailor the message to each. - An automation instinct. You do not want to catch the same issue manually twice, so you turn findings into tests, alerts, controls, documentation, or platform improvements. - Risk judgment. You can tell a theoretical issue from a material one, and communicate severity, likelihood, impact, and remediation tradeoffs clearly. NICE TO HAVE - Experience commissioning or remediating third-party smart-contract audits. - Familiarity with custody and signing infrastructure such as HSMs, MPC, and ForDefi-style providers, and with on-chain transaction security. - Cloud security depth in GCP or AWS, IAM, and container and runtime hardening. - Detection engineering and security observability, including SIEM and log-based detections. - Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, or GWAPT. - Prior work in a regulated fintech or tokenization/DeFi environment. Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution. Head of VIP - Asia

Location: Hong Kong Workplace: Remote BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system. Kraken’s VIP team supports the firm’s highest-value private clients: high-net-worth individuals who expect a premium, secure, and deeply tailored experience. We ensure Kraken remains the exchange of choice for VIPs through white-glove relationship management, personalized trading enablement, and high-impact benefits. We are looking for a Head of VIP, Asia to lead and grow Kraken’s VIP presence across the region. This is a player-coach role: you will build and lead a small, high-performing team while personally owning strategic client relationships, originating new business, and shaping the regional growth playbook. You will set the standard for how Kraken serves, retains, and grows its most valuable private clients in Asia. You will be equally comfortable in a senior client meeting, building an introducer network, coaching a relationship manager, hosting a VIP event, and partnering internally to remove the product or operational barriers that cost us high-value business. Kraken’s VIP program is unique, and we intend to keep it that way. We don’t copy what other exchanges and desks do. You’ll take what makes our program different and adapt it to how Asia’s VIP clients actually trade, network, and build trust. That means testing new ideas, learning fast, dropping what doesn’t work, and scaling what does. If you’re bold, comfortable with ambiguity, and humble enough to fail fast and move on, this is your seat.     THE OPPORTUNITY - Lead, coach, and develop VIP relationship managers in Asia; establish clear standards for client coverage, pipeline management, service quality, and commercial performance. - Build the operating model for VIP growth across Asia, including territory coverage, account segmentation, referral strategy, events, and performance reporting. - Own regional AOP growth, net deposits, client assets, trading volume, retention, and revenue performance. - Build a repeatable pipeline of qualified high-value clients through direct outreach, referrals, introducers, family offices, proprietary trading firms, OTC desks, miners, project treasuries, and high-volume traders. - Represent the voice of Asia’s VIP client base internally: identify competitive threats, regional market dynamics, product gaps, and opportunities that influence where private-client capital trades. PERSONALLY OWN STRATEGIC CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS - Own and grow Kraken's most strategically important private client relationships across Asia, bringing our full VIP offering - ranging from trading and asset management to other services - to market locally, within Kraken's compliance and risk framework. - Serve as the senior relationship owner for Kraken’s largest and most strategically important private clients across Asia. - Bring Kraken’s VIP and private-client offering to market locally, including spot, margin, futures, OTC execution, earn and yield opportunities, lending, and tailored benefits. - Build trusted, durable relationships while ensuring every client interaction and commercial initiative operates within Kraken’s licensing, compliance, and risk framework. BUILD REGIONAL PRESENCE AND PARTNERSHIPS - Develop Kraken’s presence in Asia’s VIP trading and investor communities, including private trading groups, investor clubs, KOL and trader networks, and closed-door investor circles. - Design and lead high-quality regional programming, including VIP dinners, trader meetups, conference-adjacent events, and partner activations, in collaboration with Marketing and Regional teams. - Build and manage introducer and referral partnerships that create a durable source of qualified VIP opportunities. - Partner with Product, Marketing, Compliance, Banking, Client Service, and Operations to launch regional growth initiatives and improve the client experience.     WHAT YOU BRING - 7+ years of experience in VIP relationship management, private banking, brokerage, private-client sales, account management, or business development, including meaningful experience in crypto or digital assets. - Demonstrated people leadership experience, with the judgment and practical coaching ability to lead a small team while remaining hands-on with strategic clients and revenue opportunities. - A strong personal network among Asia’s crypto HNWIs, traders, family offices, OTC desks, funds, or trading communities. Experience across Greater China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Singapore is especially valuable. - A proven record of personally originating and converting new business, not solely servicing an existing client book. - Deep knowledge of crypto market structure and trading solutions, including spot, margin, futures, OTC, lending, tokenized equities, and yield/earn products. - Strong commercial judgment and comfort managing KPIs including assets on platform, net deposits, revenue, trading volume, retention, pipeline conversion, and client portfolio growth. - Native or near-native Mandarin and fluent English. - Comfort operating across multiple regulated Asian jurisdictions, with sound judgment on when to engage Compliance and Risk partners early. - Willingness to travel up to 30% across the region for strategic client meetings, events, and conferences.           Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution. THE TEAM Kraken's Consumer Creative & Design team owns end-to-end creative execution for Kraken Consumer and Krak. Our disciplines cover performance ad creative, 2D and 3D design, motion design, AI video creative and web design. We turn growth strategy into creative that converts across paid, owned and organic surfaces. We work closely with Product Marketing, Performance Marketing, Content & Social, Lifecycle and our regional leads, and we hold the line on brand and messaging quality on everything that ships. THE OPPORTUNITY As our Staff Brand Designer, you come to the table with a strong design vision and set the visual standard for Kraken. You design static and 3D work for launches, campaigns and always-on activity, and you make sure it looks like one brand wherever someone meets it. You can take a brief or proactive idea to a finished, approved asset set, and you're equally comfortable building a clean, systemized layout in Figma and modeling and rendering a hero 3D asset in Cinema 4D. You report to the Creative Lead, Consumer Creative & Design, who gives you direction, feedback and cover in reviews. This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct reports. Senior here means craft and ownership: you set the bar for brand and 3D quality on the team, you build systems others can work from, and you're the person colleagues come to with design questions. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design static 2D and 3D creative for Kraken Consumer and Krak across product launches, campaigns, promotions and always-on activity. - Concept, model, light, texture and render 3D assets in Cinema 4D, from hero visuals to reusable asset libraries and templates. - Apply and extend the Kraken Consumer brand across surfaces, from organic social, lifecycle and web to illustration and foundational projects like key visual updates, keeping everything cohesive and recognizable without making it repetitive. - Design initiative-specific work, including a distinct look and partner-branded assets for launches such as IPOs, and purpose-built illustration for go-to-market and product moments. - Build scalable systems: Figma component libraries, marketing templates and modular campaign kits with localization-ready layouts, so other designers, other teams and our automated workflows can produce on-brand work quickly. - Use AI-assisted production as a core part of how the brand gets made, and know when it speeds the work up and when it doesn't. - Bring ideas to briefs rather than executing them literally. Push back with a point of view when a brief is unclear or the idea can be stronger. - Version and localize work across markets, languages and formats, with layouts that hold up under translation and market-specific requirements. - Partner with Product Marketing, compliance and regional teams to get work approved without losing the idea. - Collaborate closely with our motion, web, performance and AI video designers so 3D and static work travels well across formats. - Hold a high craft bar on your own work and give clear, constructive feedback on others'. WHAT YOU'LL BRING - 7+ years of brand, static and 3D design experience at a high-volume in-house team or agency, ideally in fintech, crypto or another regulated category (a competitor or similar company is a big plus). - A portfolio that proves it, submitted with your application. Include the brief or objective alongside the work and the result where you're able to share it. We'd like to see brand and static work, at least one 3D piece with a short note on your process, an example of work you adapted for multiple formats or markets, and an example of a system or template set that other people built from. - Command of Cinema 4D and the surrounding 3D workflow (modeling, lighting, materials, rendering), with shipped work to show for it. - Expert-level Figma: components, auto layout, variables, and files that are easy to hand off and build on. - Strong layout, hierarchy, type and composition that hold up at small sizes and in multiple languages. - Hands-on experience with AI-assisted production tools, and good judgment about where they belong in a workflow. - Comfort working inside regulatory constraints, including layouts that accommodate risk warnings, disclaimers and market-specific requirements without compromising the design. - Working fluency in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects for light motion). - Speed without sloppiness. You're comfortable with fast turnarounds, several review rounds and late changes. - A solid instinct for plain language and clear communication: value first, no hype, no jargon. - Curious about investing and crypto at a minimum, and able to make the space legible to others. Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution. Head of Organic Growth, Kraken Pro

Location: United States Workplace: Remote BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system. Before you apply, we encourage you to explore our culture page https://www.kraken.com/culture to understand what drives us and how we work. THE TEAM Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world’s longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. Offering spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients. Kraken Pro is where serious traders live. Millions of them. But a great product only wins if the right traders find it, trust it, and actually fund an account. Right now, our organic engine isn’t pulling its weight. You’re going to fix that. THE OPPORTUNITY We’re seeking a hands-on Head of Organic Growth to own how Kraken Pro gets discovered and how curious traders become active ones. At Kraken, understanding our brand ethos, mission, and the traders we serve is essential. Organic is where brand and acquisition meet. We’re looking for a player-coach who moves fast but thinks long-term, gets in the weeds while leading from the front, and knows that traffic means nothing if it doesn’t convert. This role demands sharp B2C acquisition instincts, a product-first mindset, an obsession with UX, and a self-starter attitude. - Own organic acquisition. Build and run the strategy across SEO, content, social, community, referrals, and partnerships to bring high-intent traders to Kraken Pro. - Find out if people convert. Map the funnel from first touch to first trade, report on it clearly, and figure out where traders drop off and how to win them back. - Make UX your edge. Work with Product and Design to audit and improve landing pages, sign-up flows, onboarding, and in-product moments. Great acquisition dies in bad UX, and you know it. - Acquire through brand. Make every growth channel a brand-building one. Reach is easy to buy; trust is what makes traders stay. - Know the product cold. Use Kraken Pro like a trader would, understand what makes it better, and turn those strengths into growth levers. - Lead a lean, scrappy team. Set direction, coach, and unblock a small team, while staying hands-on enough to ship, test, and fix things yourself. - Test and learn. Run experiments across channels and funnel steps, double down on what works, and kill what doesn’t. - Report what matters. Build clear dashboards and insights that show leadership what’s driving growth, what isn’t, and what to do next. - Ship responsibly. Partner with Legal/Comms to ensure compliant, accurate, and aligned messaging across regions and platforms. WHAT YOU’LL BRING - 5+ years in B2C acquisition or growth marketing, ideally in fintech, crypto, trading or gaming with experience in a player-coach role leading a small team. - Product savvy. You understand how products work, why people use them, and how to turn features into growth. - UX instinct. You can spot friction in a flow from a mile away and brief Product and Design on how to fix it. - High AI competency. Enabling you to multiply your impact and keep up with demand. - Analytical rigor. Comfortable with funnels, cohorts, attribution, and experimentation, and able to turn data into decisions and clear stories. - Speed under pressure. Markets don’t wait for approval cycles and neither do you. - Range as a marketer. SEO, content, social, lifecycle, partnerships. You know enough about each to direct the work, and you can roll up your sleeves when needed. - Taste. Knowing which channels and tactics not to pursue is as valuable as knowing which to scale. - Familiarity trading culture, and the language traders use. - Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams around a shared growth goal. Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution. Assistant General Counsel – Product and Regulatory Legal (EU)

Location: United Kingdom; Ireland; Cyprus; Portugal; Poland Workplace: Remote BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system. Join our Product and Regulatory Legal team, embedded with Kraken's Product, Design and Engineering teams to ship novel products and experiences that accelerate the global adoption of crypto. We are a tight, experienced group of lawyers from a diverse range of tradfi, fintech and crypto backgrounds who move fast, stay curious and take pride in the commercial accountability of our advice, partnering directly with Product, senior leadership and Compliance to chart clear, defensible paths to launch and to keep our licensed entities running smoothly. This is a senior product-facing legal role for the European Union. You will be the lawyer the business trusts on questions that cut across several regimes at once: for example, a single product such as a tokenised equity, a card, or an institutional custody and prime brokerage service can touch the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive ("MiFID II"), the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation ("MiCA"), the Payment Services Directive ("PSD2"), the Electronic Money Directive ("EMD2") and banking rules at the same time. You will bring clarity on which regime applies, what it requires, and how to launch within it.   THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting to the Head of Product Legal, you will act as a senior legal adviser to European leadership on new products, licensing structure and regulatory strategy. - Own cross-functional product counselling for European Union launches from discovery to design, launch and iteration, giving Product, Engineering, Compliance and leadership decision-ready advice with clear options and risk trade-offs - Advise on the regulatory perimeter and classification of new offerings across MiFID II and the Markets in Financial Instruments Regulation ("MiFIR"), MiCA, the European Market Infrastructure Regulation ("EMIR"), payment services and electronic money rules, and banking regulation, including where an instrument or service falls between regimes (for example tokenised securities, crypto-asset derivatives, margin and financing, and stablecoin-linked products) - Advise on payments and electronic money offerings, including the Krak card and account propositions, safeguarding, open banking and account-access obligations, and the developing Payment Services Directive 3 and Payment Services Regulation framework - Advise on banking-related questions that arise in the European Union, including bank partnerships and sponsor-bank arrangements, deposit-taking and lending perimeter questions, the Capital Requirements Regulation and Directive, and the interaction of these rules with our custody, prime brokerage and financing products - Monitor and interpret European Union legislative and supervisory developments, take part in consultations and industry association work where appropriate, and translate their significance for the business proactively - Draft and negotiate client-facing terms and conditions, taking clear, business-aligned positions - Act as gatekeeper for European Union outside counsel engagements: scope the work, estimate and manage cost, and sign off before matters go externally - Mentor and develop more junior lawyers in the team, set quality standards for plain-English, risk-based advice, and act as a senior sounding board for colleagues across the Regulatory Legal team - Use AI-assisted tools (for example Enterprise GPTs) to speed up regulatory analysis, first drafts and matter tracking, and to build self-service tools that let stakeholders answer commoditised legal and regulatory questions themselves - Advise on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing requirements affecting products, including the Transfer of Funds Regulation ("Travel Rule") and the new European Union anti-money laundering package, and on market abuse, conduct, outsourcing and operational resilience obligations, including the Digital Operational Resilience Act ("DORA") -
