ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp is looking for a Senior Growth Designer to join our high-performing Growth Creative team. This role is ideal for a hybrid thinker—someone who thrives at the intersection of creative experimentation and data-driven strategy. Please note that this Brand Designer role will require you to be comfortable with working in-person in our San Francisco office at least 2 days/week
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Go beyond execution to a place of thought partnership, working week over week to unlock the next big opportunity. Collaborate with writers, animators, editors, web designers, and creative directors to execute full-funnel campaigns.
- Work Hand-in-Hand with Design Systems: Partner closely with our Brand Systems team to ensure all growth creative adheres to our evolving visual language—while also exploring new executions that stretch and strengthen the system.
- Relay Insights Back to Brand: Share creative performance learnings with the broader design and brand teams to help inform long-term creative strategy, visual identity evolution, and cross-channel cohesion.
- Iterate & Experiment: Test hypotheses and optimize based on results. Success is measured not just in aesthetics, but in originality, clarity, product accuracy, and performance metrics.
- Explore New Channels: Help identify and unlock opportunities across emerging formats and placements while continuously improving our core performance channels.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 5–7+ years of experience in design, with strong portfolio examples of performance creative or digital advertising.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional design work at high velocity.
- Fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (motion and prototyping experience is a plus).
- Experience working closely with creative, marketing, and brand teams in high-growth environments.
- A passion for systems thinking and improving creative processes over time.
- AI processes already baked into your production workflow
WHAT SETS YOU APART
- Creative Firepower: You bring a distinct, refined visual style—but can flex to meet performance and brand needs alike.
- Advertiser’s Mindset: You understand how to capture attention in seconds, communicate a core message, and guide people to take action.
- Data-Inspired: You're energized by performance metrics and see them as creative levers that sharpen your thinking.

JTX is our trading app, and it runs on the fastest market infrastructure on Solana, which we also built. What nobody has done yet is make that speed something a trader can feel. That is this job.
JTX is live. Two frontend engineers built it to this point and you would be the third. The work now is one to a hundred: harden what exists, make it hold up under real volume, expand onto mobile, and raise the ceiling on every screen a trader touches.
We're a small team with product-market fit. That means:
High ownership: every team member drives significant technical decisions and shapes our product roadmap.
Fast execution: we ship rapidly and iterate based on real-world feedback. Progress, not motion.
High quality bar: the details are the product. We don't trade them for speed.
About the Position
You'll own the surface of JTX across web and mobile: order entry, market data, charts, positions, execution quality, onboarding, and the wallet flows underneath all of it.
The role suits a generalist with strong taste. You'll partner with design, product, and the infrastructure team, and you'll make architectural calls that stick for years. If you've spent time thinking about how markets actually work on Solana and want to build the product layer on top of that, this is the role.
Stack: React 19 + TypeScript on Next.js. Jotai + TanStack Query. Tailwind with a token-based design system. TradingView Advanced Charts on our own datafeed. Privy wallets. WebSockets to our engine. Web ships as a PWA; native mobile apps are in development.
What's Hard Right Now
Data freshness: several live WebSocket streams (order book, trades, candles, stats) feed many panels at once; keeping them fast, consistent with each other, and honest through async gaps (stale quotes, pending fills)
Performance: a data-dense terminal that stays smooth under constant streaming updates, including on mid-range hardware
Security: wallet signing, session auth, strict CSP, hardened supply chain
Shipping volume: three engineers own the entire surface of a live exchange; the backlog is bigger than the team, so throughput and prioritization are part of the job
Keeping product behavior and design language consistent between web and mobile while being very attentive to nuances of each mobile platform
Making execution quality something a trader can see in a glance instead of something they take on faith
What You'll Do
Build and own the JTX client across web and mobile
Ship real-time trading interfaces: order books, charts, order entry, positions, fill and execution visibility
Hit tight latency and render budgets against streaming market data, and decide what belongs on the client versus the server
Build wallet and signing flows, including self-custodial and embedded wallet onboarding
Own the shared component, state, and data layers the rest of the product team builds on
Make architectural decisions that hold as the codebase, the team, and the user base grow by an order of magnitude
Ship fast, watch real users, iterate
What We're Looking For
Attention to detail bordering on obsessive. You can look at a screen and say what is wrong with it, and it bothers you until it's fixed.
5+ years building production frontend, including something real-time, data dense, or financial
Deep React and TypeScript. You can explain why a component re-rendered and then fix it.
Mobile experience: React Native, Expo, or native iOS and Android
Strong fundamentals: browser performance, memory, websockets, network behavior under load
Security-first instincts around signing flows, key handling, and what should never touch a log
Comfortable in a codebase that is already live. You can refactor and clean up without stopping shipping.
Able to weigh business and engineering tradeoffs, and to explain complicated things simply
Relevant Background
If you have experience in any of the following, you may be a good fit:
Trading terminals, exchange or brokerage frontends
Consumer fintech apps at scale
Charting, time series, or high-frequency data visualization (canvas, WebGL)
Solana or EVM app development, wallet integrations, transaction signing
Maintaining a public TypeScript library or design system

Canonical is a leading provider of open source software and operating systems to the global enterprise and technology markets. Our platform, Ubuntu, is very widely used in breakthrough enterprise initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation and IoT. Our customers include the world's leading public cloud and silicon providers, and industry leaders in many sectors. The company is a pioneer of global distributed collaboration, with 1200+ colleagues in 75+ countries and very few office based roles. Teams meet two to four times yearly in person, in interesting locations around the world, to align on strategy and execution.
The company is founder led, profitable and growing.
Canonical builds the open-source software that runs the world’s clouds, devices and AI, and we hold our managers to a high standard. Our Talent Development team exists to make leaders and managers at Canonical genuinely excellent. We define what great management looks like here, and we bring managers and leaders up to that standard through direct, hands-on work, both from the centre and embedded inside engineering and commercial organisations.
As a Senior Organisational Development Practitioner you are the person who sets the bar for how coaching and organisational development is practised here. You coach leaders to a clear standard of management excellence. You diagnose how a whole organisation is led and drive the plan to raise it. You develop the practitioners working in the field. It is one of the most senior and demanding Talent roles at Canonical: hands-on coaching and organisational-development craft with real leaders, in a company that expects you to be credible in a room of directors and to earn that credibility fast.
You work both from the central team and embedded inside a leader's organisation for periods, turning what you learn in the field back into how we develop leaders and managers across Canonical.
Location: These are remote based positions, available across EMEA and the Americas.
What you deliver
Raising individual leaders
Coaching leaders to visibly raise their game against a clear standard of management excellence.
Landing the hard conversations, because you coach leaders to make them happen.
Turning 360 feedback into real, followed-through commitments, not a report that gets filed.
Lifting organisations and the company
Leaving an organisation you take on visibly better led, off a sharp first-weeks diagnosis and a plan you own and drive.
Contributing to defining and implementing new ways of working across our globally distributed company.
Building the function and its standards
Developing the practitioners in the field so they get visibly better at their craft under your supervision.
Setting the bar for how coaching and organisational development is done at Canonical: owning what exceptional looks like, proving the methods in the field, and holding the practice to them.
Sharpening the management-excellence standard itself across Canonical, by feeding back what you learn in the field.
What we are looking for in you
Deep, hands-on coaching and organisational-development practice with real leaders and teams, not just programme design.
A track record of measurably changing how leaders behave, with specific examples you can talk through.
Credibility: you can walk into a room of directors and be taken seriously.
Effectiveness operating inside someone else's organisation without formal authority.
A clear and honest philosophy of development: you know where coaching helps, and you are candid about where a role or fit decision is the right call.
An exceptional academic track record from high school and university.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Sincere personal motivation aligned with our mission.
Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
In addition we expect that you will match our values, by being:
Precise, taking care to deliver correctness and clarity.
Reliable, delivering high quality work that builds trust and confidence.
Accessible, collaborating to build products and systems that are usable.
Adroit, blending enthusiasm, knowledge, adaptability, style and character.
Nice-to-have skills
A management-consulting background: comfortable with ambiguity, able to diagnose, propose and move.
Experience coaching across a distributed, fast-moving, technical organisation.
Experience building competency or development frameworks.
Experience designing and running effective workshops or training sessions, in person and online.
Learning-design judgment for development materials. We want the design sense; AI handles the production drafting.
Talent-development experience, valued alongside but secondary to coaching and consulting craft.
What we offer colleagues
We consider geographical location, experience, and performance in shaping compensation worldwide. We revisit compensation annually (and more often for graduates and associates) to ensure we recognise outstanding performance. In addition to base pay, we offer a performance-driven annual bonus. We provide all team members with additional benefits, which reflect our values and ideals. We balance our programs to meet local needs and ensure fairness globally.
Distributed work environment with twice-yearly team sprints in person
Personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year
Annual compensation review
Recognition rewards
Annual holiday leave
Maternity and paternity leave
Employee Assistance Programme
Opportunity to travel to new locations to meet colleagues
Priority Pass, and travel upgrades for long haul company events
