The Deal Desk function partners across Chainalysis to help teams structure and execute complex commercial deals. For APAC, this role will provide dedicated regional coverage across markets including ASEAN, Korea, Japan and Australia, helping Sales teams get timely support in their time zone.
Combining commercial judgment with analytical rigor, the team develops solutions that meet customer needs while aligning with Chainalysis’ pricing, product and contractual guidelines. Deal complexity is increasing as the function provides more structuring guidance and the company evolves toward consumption-based pricing.
You’ll join a growing, decentralized function and work closely with APAC Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, Legal, Product, Marketing and other teams. You’ll receive support from colleagues in other regions as you ramp, then take increasing ownership of regional deal support and make well-reasoned decisions within established guardrails.
In this role, you’ll:
- Partner with APAC Sales to structure, price and quote complex deals, applying your understanding of our licensing, subscription and consumption based pricing models to recommend solutions that meet customer needs and align with company guidelines.
- Review deal requests, analyze pricing and discounts, and present clear recommendations to business approvers.
- Guide Sales through negotiations, contract objections, alternative deal structures and non-standard order-form requirements.
- Work with Legal, Product, Finance, Revenue Operations and other teams to resolve complex commercial issues and support accurate forecasting and order booking.
- Serve as a key point of contact for APAC Sales on pricing, quoting and exceptions to standard processes, providing timely support across regional time zones.
- Help Sales leaders prioritize opportunities around month-end, quarter-end and year-end deadlines.
- Apply sound commercial judgment and clearly explain recommendations, risks and trade-offs.
- Troubleshoot complex quoting issues in Salesforce CPQ or similar systems, and share recurring deal insights with the team.
- Identify and deliver improvements to workflows, documentation and system automation.
- Build expertise in consumption-based pricing as Chainalysis’ commercial models evolve.
We are looking for candidates who have/are:
- Experience in the technology industry, ideally in RevOps, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, business partnering, order management or a related function supporting Sales teams.
- Familiarity with SaaS subscription pricing and the ability to understand how commercial terms and pricing structures support customer needs and company objectives.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce CPQ, or similar quoting systems.
- Strong analytical skills, including pricing, discount and commercial analysis.
- Strong judgment and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
- The ability to make and explain reasoned decisions at the appropriate level, without needing to escalate every issue.
- Comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity, changing priorities and time-sensitive requests.
- Strong organizational and workload-management skills, with the ability to prioritize based on risk and business needs.
- A strategic, adaptable and growth-oriented mindset, with the potential to take on increasing ownership over time.
- Proven ability to work effectively with stakeholders across APAC markets and different working styles.
- Working with APAC teams or navigating regional differences in stakeholder needs and ways of working.
- We value potential, strategic thinking and adaptability alongside relevant experience. Direct Deal Desk experience is helpful, but experience supporting Sales through RevOps, Sales Operations, business partnering or order management can also be relevant.
Nice to have experience:
- Supporting Sales teams with consumption-based pricing models.
- Structuring or reviewing commercial deals, including basic deal-desk or order-management experience.
- Supporting sales to crypto exchanges, fintech companies or payment providers.
- Working with both SaaS and on-premise commercial models.
- Developing pricing frameworks, approval processes or scalable Deal Desk operations.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition principles, including GAAP and ASC 606.
- Working with a consumption-based CPQ platform.

Provectus is an AWS Premier Partner and an Anthropic Strategic Partner, working at the frontier of applied AI. We help enterprises turn Claude, agentic systems, and their own data into measurable business outcomes — through bespoke applications, managed services, and advisory engagements. With offices in North America, LATAM, and EMEA, we partner with clients worldwide.
Our work centers on two verticals — Financial Services & Insurance and Healthcare & Life Sciences — where we deploy five pre-built AI Blueprints: Submission Flow, Portfolio Lens, Asset Flow, Revenue Flow, and Evidence Lens. Each Blueprint rebuilds a critical business process front to back, shipped from working code and tuned to a client's specific book, regulators, and operating posture.
Our team holds 100+ AWS certifications, is Claude Code certified, and co-delivers Anthropic's Agentic SDLC program, Cowork Activation, and AI Blueprint engagements.
Where this role sits
You will work in a senior pod alongside an FDE, an FDX, and Senior AI Engineers — contributing to real delivery work while building toward independent ownership.
Requirements:
Mindset
Proactive and self-directed; you push for clarity rather than waiting for a ticket.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable with some ambiguity, with support from senior team members as you take on more.
B2+ English, comfortable collaborating across distributed, multicultural teams.
Technical depth
Hands-on experience building or contributing to RAG systems, ideally in a production or near-production setting.
Solid engineering fundamentals; Python and/or TypeScript proficiency. Productive in an unfamiliar codebase with some ramp-up support.
Practical AWS experience (Lambda, S3, ECS, or similar); ready to grow into Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore .
Some experience with containers and CI/CD in real projects.
Exposure to evaluating non-deterministic systems — you've contributed to or run test/eval cycles, even if you haven't owned a full eval suite end-to-end.
Basic working knowledge of model/agent monitoring concepts.
Awareness of cost and latency trade-offs when working with LLMs.
Some hands-on exposure to the Claude ecosystem (Claude Code, CLAUDE.md, hooks, skills files) is a plus, or strong ability to ramp up quickly.
Practical experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or OpenAI) in real projects.
2+ years of software or ML engineering experience, including some exposure to production systems.
Solid AI/ML foundations — you understand what the models do well enough to reason about common failure modes.
Nice to Have:
Experience in one of the industries: financial services, insurance, healthcare.
Consulting, professional services, or other embedded customer-facing delivery.
AWS and Claude Code Certifications (or actively pursuing them).
A2A: Interest in agent-to-agent interoperability concepts.
CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Practical experience with one or more use cases from the following: NLP, LLMs, and Recommendation engines.
Experience in an additional language (Go, TypeScript, or Rust).
Experience with Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Kafkа.
Experience with the Claude ecosystem — Claude Code, CLAUDE.md, hooks, skills files. Spec-driven development — writing the intent, constraints, and acceptance criteria before you let an agent build.
MCP: you can say why an agent would prefer it to a REST integration, having authored a server is an additional plus.
Responsibilities:
Build and contribute to RAG system components under senior guidance, with growing autonomy.
Write tests and help build out evaluation harnesses for the features you work on.
Write production code across the stack (AI, backend services, data pipelines) with code review support.
Help integrate AI components into backend services and RESTful APIs.
Support deployment of systems to AWS (containerized, CI/CD), taking on more of this independently over time.
Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and client handover materials.
Participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions, with an eye toward taking on more of this independently.
Support model evaluation efforts and help investigate and improve failure modes.
Take on increasing ownership of components and technical decisions as you grow in the role.
What We Offer:
The chance to shape how leading enterprises across LATAM, Europe, and North America adopt AI, from strategy through first deployment
A forward-deployed model working in small, senior teams alongside FDE and FDX
A growing AI delivery practice where you help build the tooling and frameworks, not just use them
Remote-friendly culture
Internal training programs with full support for Claude, AWS, and other professional certifications, conference attendance
Career growth; we actively develop our engineers
Access to the latest AI tools and premium subscriptions
Long-term B2B collaboration
Private medical insurance or a budget for your medical needs

The successful candidate will be a strong team player, able to build positive relationships with colleagues and work collaboratively toward shared goals.
Key responsibilities
Own the end-to-end response to law enforcement and government requests for user data, from intake and validation through production and closeout, including subpoenas, court orders, search warrants, preservation letters, and emergency disclosure requests from domestic and foreign authorities

Monitor legal developments in government access to user data and advise the team on their operational impact
Support litigation and regulatory matters and stretch beyond core responsibilities as needed to support the legal team's objectives

Experience owning an intake, queue, or docketing process end to end, including deciding what gets escalated and maintaining rigorous tracking
Comfort operating and improving the tooling a legal process runs on (trackers, spreadsheets, forms, aliases, and simple automations), with a willingness to make changes directly rather than route every change to someone else
A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to identifying, recommending, and implementing process improvements within the legal department

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We believe powerful AI can compress a century of scientific progress into a decade. Bringing Claude to scientists and engineers is a big part of building toward that future.
Claude has already helped
uncover a novel enzyme system
,
formalize Fermat’s Last Theorem
, design
more efficient quantum circuits
, and compute
new results in theoretical physics
— and this is just the beginning. You’ll figure out what scientists and engineers need from Claude and build it from 0→1.
You’ll be a technical leader with a high degree of autonomy, helping clear the path to harnessing scientific AGI. You’ll work with internal experts and industry partners. Initiatives like our
AI for Science Program
will connect you with researchers we support in high-impact work across scientific fields.
Key responsibilities
Build products that unlock scientific discovery
Partner with product management, design, and go-to-market to make complex workflows, like modeling and simulation, simple to run with Claude
Work closely with research to make models better at science and engineering
Spend time with users in academia and industry to decide what to build next
Own technical design and delivery end to end, shipping product quickly rather than just executing a spec
Minimum qualifications
Software engineering experience, including owning the technical design and delivery of products
Experience building products from 0 to 1 in fast-moving environments, and setting technical direction with limited precedent to lean on
Experience building AI products, and knowledge of what it takes to turn model capabilities into applications people actually use
Ability to think holistically about user experience and craft tools that are a pleasure for scientists and engineers to use
Comfort working directly with technical domain experts and customers, and turning what you learn into product
Enjoyment of solving hard problems together with researchers, scientists, and other engineers
Preferred qualifications
8+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with 2+ years at a Staff or equivalent technical leadership level
Background in math, physics, materials science, mechanical or electrical engineering, or another science or engineering field
Experience building software for scientists or engineers, such as CAD, simulation, electronics design, or scientific computing tools
Experience as a founder or early engineer at a company building tools for scientists or engineers
Experience working with research teams to improve domain-specific model capabilities, including evaluation frameworks
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:

Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
For roles performing work in California:
We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records or criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, and the California Fair Chance Act.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains.
