Contribute to the technical direction of the team: participate in design discussions, challenge and pressure-test technical approaches, and ensure robust solutions through constructive peer review.
Collaborate across teams — represent the team's technical interests in cross-team initiatives and contribute as a peer in design and direction discussions with partner engineering groups.
Mentor junior engineers, sharing expertise through reviews, pairing, and practical guidance that raises the quality bar across the team.
Explore and adopt AI-first workflows — proactively identifying where AI tools can enhance productivity, code quality, and development processes, and helping teammates adopt effective practices.
Perform detailed debugging, profiling, and root-cause analysis of complex software issues.
Develop comprehensive tests to ensure high quality and demonstrate performance improvements.
Wha you'll Need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience writing low‑level, high‑performance C++ code.
Solid knowledge of VM and compiler runtime design and implementation; familiarity with JVM internals is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to independently lead and deliver complex technical projects on time, managing competing priorities and technical uncertainty.
Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to a team's technical culture and practices.
Strong proficiency with low‑level programming concepts — memory management, pointers, concurrency, and multithreading.
Experience using debuggers, profilers, and performance analysis tools to investigate and resolve complex problems.
Understanding of hardware architectures (e.g. x86, ARM), operating system internals (e.g. Linux, macOS), and languages such as Java or Rust is an advantage.

Referral Program — help us grow with great people.
Premium IT equipment — MacBook Pro or hardware of your choice.
5 weeks of holidays + 5 sick days.
Flexible working hours; full remote possible.
Prague/Limassol/Belgrade city center offices. Hybrid or full-remote also possible.
Work alongside top experts worldwide contributing to the Java ecosystem.
Employment at Azul is contingent upon the completion of reference and background checks.
Architecture & Design — Lead the design and implementation of core protocol components, from initial prototypes to production-grade deployment.
Protocol Development — Develop and optimize data structures, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic implementations (e.g., zero-knowledge proofs).
Security & Verification — Identify attack vectors, failure modes, and performance bottlenecks; apply formal verification or simulation to validate designs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration — Partner with researchers, product managers, and security teams to translate roadmaps into precise technical specifications.

About the team
The Legal, Compliance & Finance Data Team builds the data infrastructure powering OKX's compliance operations globally — TMS, KYC/EDD, CMS, and regulatory reporting across 100+ markets. The compliance data domain is broad but learnable. We expect senior engineers to build deep domain knowledge quickly using AI tooling and structured onboarding.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to work as a core execution partner to our Compliance Projects. This is a hands-on technical role with real domain ownership — you will own sub-domains end-to-end, not just execute tickets. Strong performance creates a direct route toward the Compliance domain's technical leadership layer as the team scales.
Responsibilities:
Pipeline Ownership:
Own end-to-end pipelines from ODS ingestion through CDM to downstream marts serving TMS, KYC, CMS, and regulatory reporting. Design, build, and maintain production-grade pipelines with reliability, auditability, and regulatory correctness as first-class requirements.
Full-Stack Compliance Coverage:
TMS: transaction monitoring feeds, rule feature engineering, Scila/TME platform data integration, TME/ARS features
KYC/CRR/EDD: KYC refresh pipelines, remediation datasets, CRR scoring features, Worldcheck integration
CMS: case management data, transaction analysis tooling, bulk search, KYB operation data
Regulatory reporting: recurring compliance reports for global and jurisdiction-specific requirements
Data Quality:
Design proactive DQC checks into pipelines. Own monitoring and reconciliation; build alerting that catches issues before downstream systems or regulators do.
AI-Accelerated Domain Building:
Use AI tooling actively to ramp on compliance domain knowledge. Apply LLM-assisted development to accelerate pipeline development, DQC design, and documentation.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Compliance Project Lead as a trusted technical partner — take sub-domain ownership to expand his effective bandwidth. Mentor junior engineers as your domain confidence grows.
Requirements:

About the team
The Finance Data Team is responsible for the data infrastructure that powers OKX's compliance, regulatory, and financial reporting operations globally. Our Finance Data domain covers everything from raw transaction ingestion to consolidated group financials — supporting statutory reporting, board-level financials, and audit readiness across 100+ markets.
This is a team that treats data correctness as a non-negotiable. We operate at the intersection of engineering rigour, financial domain knowledge, and regulatory accountability.
About the role
We are looking for a
Staff Data Engineer
to be the technical anchor for Finance Data at OKX. You will define how Finance data is architected, validated, and delivered, and set the standard for how the team operates in an AI-native way.
You will work directly with Finance, Accounting, and Treasury stakeholders to ensure that financial data is complete, reconciled, traceable, and audit-ready. You will also be the domain's primary escalation point and the technical voice of Finance Data within the broader engineering organisation.
This role suits someone who has operated as a de facto domain lead before — someone who has built financial data systems that have been reviewed by auditors, regulators and who knows what "good" looks like in a regulated financial data environment.
Responsibilities:
Domain Architecture & Technical Direction
Own the end-to-end Finance data architecture: from ODS ingestion through CDM transformation to reporting mart, with clear data lineage documented at every layer
Define and enforce data modelling standards for Finance: period cut-off immutability, multi-entity consolidation logic, revenue recognition alignment, and audit trail completeness
Lead the design of scalable pipelines supporting trading data, asset positions, P&L, and cost accounting across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions (SG, EU, US, and others)
Make architectural decisions independently and articulate trade-offs clearly to both engineering peers and non-technical Finance stakeholders
Financial Reporting & Audit Readiness
Partner with Accounting, Finance PMO, and Treasury to deliver datasets for month-end close, statutory reporting, and board-level financials on time and to audit standard
Ensure every financial figure is traceable back to the source system with full transformation history — no black boxes
Build the data foundation that supports OKX's regulatory reporting obligations and long-term financial reporting maturity
Data Quality & Controls
Design proactive, self-validating DQC frameworks — reconciliation logic, SLA monitoring, and anomaly detection built into pipelines, not bolted on after incidents
Own incident response for Finance-critical pipeline failures; conduct structured post-mortems and drive permanent fixes
Define "done" for financial correctness in partnership with Accounting; hold the line on data quality standards even under delivery pressure
AI-Native Finance Data
Lead the team's adoption of AI-assisted engineering: LLM-assisted development, automated anomaly detection, intelligent reconciliation, AI-generated reporting summaries
Evaluate and introduce AI tooling into Finance data workflows with production evidence — not POC demos
Set the bar for what an AI-native Finance data team looks like, and bring junior engineers along
Technical Leadership & Influence
Be the go-to escalation point for Finance data domain questions across the team
Mentor and grow engineers working in the Finance domain; translate domain complexity into learnable patterns
Represent Finance Data in cross-team architecture discussions, sprint planning, and stakeholder reviews
Document domain knowledge that outlasts any individual — data dictionaries, pipeline specs, onboarding guides
Requirements:
6+ years
in data engineering, with at least
3 years owning a Finance, Accounting, or financial reporting data domain
end-to-end
Deep understanding of financial data fundamentals: period close and cut-off rules, revenue recognition, multi-entity consolidation, reconciliation, and audit trail requirements
Demonstrated experience building data systems that have been reviewed in a
statutory audit
or
regulatory review
Strong SQL and Python; proven ability to design and maintain complex production pipelines at scale
Experience designing for immutability and lineage — financial data that can be rolled back, re-run, and traced without manual intervention
Track record of operating with significant autonomy: defining requirements from ambiguous stakeholder input, not just executing tickets
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience at a
crypto exchange, fintech, or company that has gone through IPO preparation or public company financial reporting
Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions (MAS SG, SEC, FCA, or equivalent)
AI/
LLM
tooling applied to data engineering workflows in production
— concrete examples required; "exploring" does not count
Experience with Spark, Airflow, or equivalent orchestration at scale
Prior experience as a de facto domain lead or tech lead without formal people management title
Background working with Accounting/Controllership teams as a technical counterpart
Perks & Benefits:
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
Various team building programs and company events
Wellness and meal allowances
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
More that we love to tell you along the process!

In 2026, we launched Computer, the defining product for the new era of agentic AI. Millions of people now use Perplexity to transform knowledge into action, and the Growth team owns the product loops that help them discover, adopt, and build lasting habits around our most important AI experiences.
As a growth engineer at Perplexity, you'll work across the full funnel — activation, onboarding, SEO, lifecycle, conversion, retention, and paid upgrade moments — while also building the applied AI systems that make those experiences smarter. Engineers are responsible for end-to-end projects from training and productionizing classifiers to identify high-intent users, personalizing value discovery, shipping contextual onboarding experiments, or wiring new AI capabilities into measurable adoption and revenue outcomes.
Growth at Perplexity goes beyond incremental funnel optimization. The team sits close to the core product - we translate behavioral signals, model outputs, and fast experimentation into durable product surfaces used across consumer and enterprise workflows. You'll move fast, run many experiments in parallel, and own the outcome end-to-end.
Tech Stack: TypeScript | Next.js | React | Python | PostgreSQL | Eppo | AWS
WHY PERPLEXITY IS DIFFERENT
- Craftsmanship. We build high quality, tasteful products targeting both the AI native and AI curious.
- Ownership. You identify the problem, design the solution and ship it.
- Entrepreneurship. We think like founders, act with urgency, and hustle to deliver for each other and our users.
- Scholarship. Work among highly talented peers, pursuing knowledge and truth, upleveling ourselves, our teams, and our products.
- Partnership. We amplify each others' strengths, break down silos, and give selflessly to help our colleagues deliver excellence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, build, and own growth surfaces across the full funnel — activation, onboarding, SEO, lifecycle, conversion, retention, and paid upgrade moments — for Computer and every Perplexity product.
- Lead experiments end-to-end, from hypothesis and instrumentation through implementation, analysis, and rollout, shipping many in parallel and learning quickly from each.
- Build applied AI systems that power growth: classifiers for high-intent segments, personalization for value discovery, and AI-driven onboarding and recommendation surfaces.
- Launch vertical-specific experiences (e.g., students, enterprise organizations) that connect new AI capabilities to measurable adoption and revenue outcomes.
- Hill-climb on the metrics that matter: activation rate, paid conversion, retention, and habit formation, instrumented with clean data and trustworthy experiment readouts.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, Data Science, Monetization, Marketing, and Applied AI to translate behavioral signals and model outputs into durable product surfaces.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience (we're open to strong junior and mid-level candidates with a track record of shipping).
- Full-stack engineering skills, with comfort across a modern web stack (we use Next.js, React, TypeScript on the frontend and Python on the backend).
- Strong execution: you ship many experiments and product improvements in parallel and drive them to a clear outcome.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation platforms (Eppo, Statsig, Optimizely, or in-house equivalents).
- Comfort with SQL and data-informed decision-making — you can pull, segment, and interpret your own funnel data.
- Strong product judgment; you translate user behavior and growth opportunities into simple, effective technical solutions.
- Self-motivated with strong ownership instincts; you propose experiments, ship features ahead of schedule, and drive improvements without asking for permission.

An overview of this role
As an Senior AI Engineer at GitLab, you'll help build the foundation for GitLab's transformation into an AI-first company. Reporting to the Director, Enterprise AI, you'll be a hands-on technical leader responsible for delivering internal AI-powered solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Building fast matters, but it's not enough on its own. This role starts with understanding the real problem: mapping how work moves across teams, tools, and handoffs, identifying the true constraint, and validating whether AI is the right solution before you begin development. From there, you'll take ownership from discovery through deployment, combining strong engineering skills with systems thinking and business understanding.
Your initial focus will span Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support, where you will embed AI solutions into key systems and workflows. This role offers the opportunity to shape how GitLab team members work, improve flow across the organization, and help advance our mission in a remote, asynchronous, and values-driven environment.
What you'll do
Diagnose business problems before building solutions. Map workflows, identify constraints, and confirm whether AI is the right intervention. Be prepared to say "this doesn't need AI" when that's the honest answer.
Own AI initiatives end-to-end, from stakeholder discovery and technical design through implementation, deployment, and iteration.
Design, develop, and ship AI-powered solutions quickly, delivering working prototypes in days, not months, with a focus on practical outcomes and measurable business value.
Improve organizational flow by building solutions that reduce bottlenecks, shorten lead times, and increase throughput. Measure success using flow metrics alongside adoption and ROI.
Integrate AI capabilities into existing systems and workflows using APIs, orchestration tools, and modern AI platforms, including GitLab Duo Agent Platform, where appropriate. The right tool wins, whether that's custom code, a platform, or a well-crafted prompt.
Be Customer Zero: leverage and showcase GitLab's AI offerings wherever possible, feeding real-world usage insights back to R&D.
Partner closely with stakeholders across functions to understand the real constraints. Ask the right questions, bridge technical and non-technical perspectives, and align on outcomes before jumping to solutions.
Define and track success through business metrics, flow metrics, and feedback loops that make performance visible and actionable.
Contribute to technical direction by evaluating tools, documenting patterns, and creating reusable foundations that help the team scale its impact.
What you'll bring
A Technologist at Heart -
Genuinely invested in technology, the foundational and the cutting-edge in equal measure. You're as energised by a well-designed API integration as you are by the latest foundation model release. You reach for the simplest solution that solves the problem well, rather than forcing new technology when proven approaches would do. AI is a powerful part of your toolkit, but it sits on top of solid engineering fundamentals, not in place of them.
Competent, Confident Coding Skills -
You can build working solutions end-to-end, write clean and maintainable code, and debug effectively. Whether your skills were honed in a traditional engineering role, through building automations, or shipping side projects, what matters is that you can deliver production-quality work independently.
AI
& LLM
Technical Depth -
Strong proficiency in at least one modern scripting language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar) and a solid understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and integration patterns. Deep, practical experience with modern AI technologies, specifically: Prompt engineering as a core discipline: designing effective system prompts, managing context windows, structuring multi-turn interactions, evaluating output quality, and iterating systematically on prompt design.
Model selection and cost-performance trade-offs:
understanding when a smaller fine-tuned model outperforms a general-purpose large one, when RAG is the right architecture versus expanding the context window, and how to make principled decisions about capability versus cost.
Agentic architecture patterns:
tool use, multi-agent orchestration, human-in-the-loop designs, guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and production-grade reliability patterns.Practical fluency across the LLM ecosystem: hands-on experience with models from Anthropic, OpenAI, open-source alternatives, and the judgment to know which to reach for and when.
AI Safety & Risk Awareness -
You think critically about how the solutions you build could be exploited, misused, or produce unintended consequences. You know how to design appropriate guardrails (input validation, output filtering, access controls, prompt injection defences, and data leakage prevention) and you treat these as first-class engineering concerns.
Systems Thinking & Diagnostic Rigour -
The ability to look at a complex process and see the constraint. Comfortable mapping how work flows end-to-end, identifying bottlenecks, and tracing problems to root causes before proposing solutions. You instinctively ask "what's actually blocking flow here?" before asking "what model should I use?"
Business System Expertise -
Familiarity with the landscape of enterprise business systems, CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation (Marketo), support platforms (Zendesk), integration and orchestration tools (Workato), AI platforms (Relevance AI), and enterprise search and knowledge tools (Glean). You don't need deep experience with all of these, but to understand what they do, how they fit together, and be willing to build with and across them. A strong understanding of enterprise data models and workflows is essential.
Broad Functional Understanding -
Ability to have meaningful conversations with stakeholders across diverse domains and quickly understand their unique needs.
End-to-End Ownership -
Track record of owning complex initiatives from discovery through delivery. Comfortable operating with ambiguity and driving to measurable outcomes independently.
Product Mindset -
Ability to scope MVPs, prioritise ruthlessly, and deliver iteratively. In addition, consider adoption, user experience, and business outcomes.
Preferred requirements
Experience with GitLab platform and CI/CD workflows
Background in consulting, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical roles
Familiarity with value stream mapping, flow metrics, or Theory of Constraints thinking
Experience with low-code/no-code orchestration tools (n8n, Make, Workato) alongside custom development
Previous startup or high-growth company experience
Experience mentoring or leading technical projects with junior engineers
About the team
You will join the Enterprise Technology & AI team. We're the backbone of the organisation, driving transformation in how GitLab team members make decisions, operate at scale, and deliver results for our customers.
We believe the best AI solutions start with understanding the system, not the technology. We value people who think in constraints and flow, who build with conviction, and who never stop learning. We work in an all-remote, asynchronous setting, guided by GitLab's values of collaboration, results, efficiency, diversity, inclusion and belonging, iteration, and transparency.

About Provectus
Provectus is an AWS Premier Partner and an Anthropic Strategic Partner, working at the frontier of applied AI. We help enterprises turn Claude, agentic systems, and their own data into measurable business outcomes — through bespoke applications, managed services, and advisory engagements. With offices in North America, LATAM, and EMEA, we partner with clients worldwide.
Our work centers on two verticals — Financial Services & Insurance and Healthcare & Life Sciences — where we deploy five pre-built AI Blueprints: Submission Flow, Portfolio Lens, Asset Flow, Revenue Flow, and Evidence Lens. Each Blueprint rebuilds a critical business process front to back, shipped from working code and tuned to a client's specific book, regulators, and operating posture.
Our team holds 100+ AWS certifications, is Claude Code certified, and co-delivers Anthropic's Agentic SDLC program, Cowork Activation, and AI Blueprint engagements.
Where this role sits
You will work in a small, senior pod alongside an FDE and an FDX,
Forward Deployed Executives (FDX)
own the commercial relationship and the business outcome. Works alongside the client's leadership or C-suite level to move the client's KPIs.
Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE)
embed with a client, map the client workflow, identify the business problem underneath it, design and build a working AI solution, present to the client, and transfer the knowledge to the client's team. Owns technical direction of the whole solution.
Senior AI Engineer.
When an FDE comes back from the client with the business problem, you will help turn that into an agentic system that runs in production and will be responsible for evaluation, observability, and guardrails. You'll have real ownership of components and of the technical decisions inside them.
Requirements:
Mindset
Proactive and self-directed;
you push for clarity rather than waiting for a ticket
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Comfort with ambiguity and ownership.
B2+ English, comfortable collaborating across distributed, multicultural teams.
Technical depth
5+ years in software or ML engineering, with production systems you were accountable for
.
Solid AI/ML foundations. You understand what the models do well enough to reason about failure modes.
Shipped to production LLM applications and agentic workflows — not demos, not POCs, not notebooks.
Agentic orchestration: multi-step workflows, graph-based orchestration, tool use, state management, and recovery from partial failure
Experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or OpenAI) and agent frameworks.
Experience building and optimizing RAG systems in production.
Strong engineering fundamentals. Full-stack mindset, comfortable across AI, backend development, and cloud infrastructure. Python and/or TypeScript proficiency; depth matters more than stack.
Dropped into an unfamiliar codebase, you're productive.
Hands-on AWS in production: Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, Lambda, ECS, S3, SQS, ECR, or similar. GCP or Azure is a plus.
Cloud-native delivery: containers, ECS or Kubernetes, IaC, and CI/CD applied to AI pipelines.
You evaluate. You have built or owned an eval suite for a non-deterministic system, and you can explain what you measured, how you produced ground truth, and what gated a release.
Model and agent monitoring, drift detection.
Cost and latency discipline: model tiering, caching, and the ability to say what a workload costs to run before it runs.
Hands-on production experience with the Claude ecosystem — Claude Code, CLAUDE.md, hooks, skills files. Spec-driven development — writing the intent, constraints, and acceptance criteria before you let an agent build — is a strong plus.
MCP: you can say why an agent would prefer it to a REST integration. Having authored a server is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Work in a pair with an FDE and an FDX.
Build and ship production GenAI systems into the customer’s environment (cloud-native data, LLM-based, and agentic AI solutions).
Build and optimize RAG systems for production use cases
Build the evaluation harness before you build the feature.
Write production code across the stack — AI, backend services, data pipelines. We choose tools to fit the customer.
Integrate AI components into backend services and RESTful APIs
Take systems to production on AWS (GCP or Azure where the customer requires it): containerised, CI/CD. Implement LLMOps and AgentOps practices: agent tracing, prompt and version management, cost and latency monitoring, regression testing, drift detection
Start from the blueprint, contribute to enablement and handover: clear documentation, runbooks, and pairing with the client engineers who will inherit the system. Feed reusable components and lessons back into the Provectus Blueprints
Participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions
Conduct model evaluation, improve failure modes you find, optimize model performance, efficiency, and reliability
Mentor junior and mid-level AI engineers, conduct code reviews and share knowledge across the team through documentation, presentations, and workshops.
