Senior Paid Ads Specialist

Location: United Kingdom; United States; Canada; Spain About Huzzle At Huzzle, we connect exceptional talent with top opportunities at leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Our clients include startups, digital agencies, and tech platforms in industries such as SaaS, MarTech, FinTech, and EdTech. Unlike an outsourcing agency, we place you directly with a client where you’re hired in-house as a valued member of their team. Role Type: Full-time Engagement: Independent Contractor About the company Our client is a specialist marketing and lead generation agency dedicated to the renewable energy sector across the UK and US markets. With over three decades of collective experience in sales and consultancy, the team focuses on bridging the gap between renewable energy providers—specialising in solar, EV charging, and carbon reduction schemes—and the customers who need their services most. They leverage a proprietary business suite and advanced marketing automation to deliver high-quality, data-driven results for a diverse portfolio of clients. Built on a foundation of transparency and performance, this fast-growing company is an industry leader in precision targeting and automated sales pipeline management. The team thrives on innovation and a "done-for-you" service model that maximises impact for the green energy revolution. Candidates will join a collaborative, performance-oriented environment that values trust, technical expertise across Meta and Google platforms, and the mission of accelerating the global transition to sustainable energy. Job Summary We are looking for an elite Media Buyer to take full ownership of ad performance across a growing portfolio of insulation and home improvement businesses. This is not a "maintenance" role—we need a performance-driven specialist who understands high-ticket lead generation and the nuances of the home services vertical. You will be responsible for driving qualified applications and booked inspections while managing the end-to-end client relationship. As the company scales, this role is designed to evolve into a leadership position where you will oversee junior media buyers and shape the agency’s internal systems. Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize Meta ad campaigns for a portfolio of 10+ active client accounts. Build, test, and iterate on high-converting lead gen funnels, VSLs, and booked call structures. Own the client relationship directly, leading weekly strategy calls and reporting on performance with clarity and confidence. Monitor budgets, pacing, and delivery to ensure efficient cost per lead (CPL) and cost per acquisition (CPA). Collaborate with the founder to develop and test aggressive ad creatives, hooks, and messaging. Proactively identify underperforming metrics and implement fixes before they impact the client’s bottom line. Document and systematize media buying processes to ensure scalability for future hires. Requirements Proven experience managing $30k–$100k+ in monthly Meta ad spend across multiple accounts. Specific expertise in the home services, home improvement, or contractor verticals. Deep understanding of high-ticket, considered-purchase sales cycles and how to optimize for lead quality rather than just volume. Extreme ownership mentality: you are someone who flags opportunities and solves problems without being asked. Mastery of performance metrics, including the ability to maintain a minimum 2x ROAS (at 30% profit margins) for clients. Highly structured testing methodology with a focus on data-driven experimentation over ad-hoc changes. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to lead client-facing calls independently. Ability to work within or have significant overlap with EST/CST business hours. Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior media buyers. Experience with CRM integration and lead tracking for local service businesses. Deep knowledge of funnel building software and landing page optimization. Benefits 💻 Fully Remote: Work from anywhere with international teams 🤝 Peer Community: Connect with high-performing sales professionals in our network 🧭 Ongoing Support: Receive guidance from Huzzle before and after placement 💰 Tailored Compensation: Salaries vary by client and candidate preference — we’ll match you with options that fit your goals
