At WHOOP, we're on a mission to unlock and inspire performance for life.
As WHOOP continues to scale, North America remains our largest and most strategically important commercial market. The AVP, Sales — North America will be responsible for accelerating growth, expanding distribution, strengthening strategic partnerships, and building the commercial organization required to take WHOOP to the next level.
The AVP, Sales — North America is responsible for leading the sales and distribution strategy for WHOOP across the United States and Canada.
This leader will own the North American commercial plan across retail, wholesale, strategic accounts, and other third-party channels, with a clear focus on driving profitable revenue growth and membership acquisition.
The role requires a leader who can operate at both the strategic and tactical level: setting the commercial vision, developing executive relationships with our most important partners, negotiating major opportunities, and ensuring outstanding execution in stores and across channels.
The successful candidate will be a builder; someone who can scale a high-performing organization, create new growth engines, and continuously raise the standard for commercial execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
NORTH AMERICA COMMERCIAL STRATEGY
- Develop and execute the North America sales strategy and annual operating plan for WHOOP.
- Own regional sales targets, forecasts, channel strategy, and commercial performance.
- Identify and prioritize the largest opportunities to increase distribution, market share, and membership acquisition.
- Balance near-term revenue delivery with long-term category development and brand building.
- Partner with the WHOOP leadership team to shape the broader WHOOP commercial strategy.
RETAIL & DISTRIBUTION
- Lead the strategy to expand the WHOOP presence across national, regional, specialty, sporting goods, electronics, and other relevant retail channels.
- Build a distribution network that makes WHOOP increasingly accessible to mainstream consumers while protecting its premium positioning.
- Develop channel strategies that maximize productivity rather than simply maximizing doors.
- Establish standards for merchandising, retail execution, product demonstration, inventory availability, and member acquisition.
- Identify opportunities to create new retail experiences and points of presence.
- Continuously evaluate distribution gaps relative to competitors.
STRATEGIC ACCOUNTS
- Build and maintain C-suite and senior executive relationships with the most important WHOOP retail and strategic partners.
- Lead negotiations for major commercial agreements, launches, exclusives, promotions, and strategic partnerships.
- Establish joint business plans with key accounts and hold partners accountable for agreed growth objectives.
- Develop relationships that go beyond transactional selling to create long-term strategic value for both WHOOP and its partners.
- Represent WHOOP externally with major customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
SALES PERFORMANCE & COMMERCIAL EXCELLENCE
- Deliver the North American sales target.
- Be accountable for sell-in, sell-through, inventory productivity, revenue, and membership acquisition.
- Establish rigorous sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance-management processes.
- Develop channel-level economics and ensure commercial decisions are grounded in contribution margin and lifetime value.
- Establish clear targets and KPIs for the sales organization and individual account teams.
- Identify and address performance gaps quickly.
- Build a culture of data-driven decision making and operational excellence.
GO-TO-MARKET & LAUNCH EXCELLENCE
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance to deliver major product and membership launches.
- Develop channel-specific launch strategies that maximize awareness, distribution, availability, and conversion.
- Ensure sales organizations and retail partners are fully prepared for launches.
- Establish best practices for retail training, merchandising, demos, sampling, and consumer education.
- Ensure WHOOP maintains a consistent and premium brand experience across all channels.
TEAM LEADERSHIP
- Build and lead a high-performing North American sales organization.
- Define the appropriate organizational structure across key accounts, retail, channel development, sales operations, and strategic partnerships.
- Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional commercial talent.
- Establish a culture of high standards, accountability, urgency, and collaboration.
- Ensure the organization remains highly connected to global WHOOP commercial and functional teams.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP
- Partner closely with Marketing, Growth, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, Membership, and Customer Experience.
- Create a single North American commercial plan across functions.
- Ensure sales priorities are aligned with company-wide strategic objectives.
- Bring market, consumer, competitive, and retailer insights into global decision-making.
- Act as the voice of the North American customer and retail ecosystem within WHOOP.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED
- 15+ years of experience in sales, commercial leadership, or general management within consumer technology, consumer electronics, wearables, fitness, health technology, or another relevant premium consumer category.
- 8+ years leading large-scale sales or commercial organizations.
- Proven track record of delivering significant revenue growth in North America.
- Deep experience with national retail, specialty retail, wholesale, and/or omnichannel businesses.
- Demonstrated success negotiating and managing relationships with major US retailers.
- Strong understanding of both physical retail and e-commerce.
- Experience building and scaling high-performing sales organizations.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing forecasts, budgets, and commercial economics.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively with C-suite executives, both internally and externally.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly.
PREFERRED
- Experience scaling a premium consumer technology or connected-device brand.
- Experience with subscription, membership, or recurring revenue businesses.
- Experience taking a consumer technology product from enthusiast adoption toward mainstream adoption.
- Experience working across both DTC and third-party channels.
- Passion for health, fitness, human performance, and technology.
- Experience in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.
Interested in the role, but don’t meet every qualification? We encourage you to still apply! At WHOOP, we believe there is much more to a candidate than what is written on paper, and we value character as much as experience. As we continue to build a diverse and inclusive environment, we encourage anyone who is interested in this role to apply.
WHOOP is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-verify https://www.e-verify.gov/to determine employment eligibility
The WHOOP compensation philosophy is designed to attract, motivate, and retain exceptional talent by offering competitive base salaries, meaningful equity, and consistent pay practices that reflect our mission and core values.
At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company’s long-term growth and success.
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 - $245,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.
In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.
These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.

✨ ONE PLATFORM, A WHOLE WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY
The best jobs have always clustered in a handful of the world's wealthiest cities. But talent is everywhere. Oyster set out to close that gap - building a global employment platform that lets companies hire, pay, and care for brilliant people anywhere.
We're proof that a high-performing culture doesn't need an office. Distributed across 60+ countries since 2020, we've built something the industry keeps noticing:
- Ranked #10 of 250 on TIME and Statista's 2026 list of America's Top WorkTech Companies https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-hr-named-10-of-americas-top-worktech-companies-of-2026-by-time
- Named one of America's Greatest Startup Workplaces 2026 https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-2026-newsweek-award by Newsweek
- A G2 Spring 2026 Leader https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-named-best-roi-for-any-global-employment-platform-for-g2-spring-2026 across Employer of Record, Global Employment, Multi-country Payroll, and HR Compliance
- The only B Corp-certified global employment platform ~ independently verified since 2023
Two of those rankings measured our business impact from the outside. One measured how our own people feel about working here. They landed in the same place ~ because at Oyster, culture and performance aren't separate conversations. They're the same one.
And we're just getting started. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love for you to apply.
Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster’s positions are fully remote and you can work from home. Forever. To create the best experience for our new hire, this role requires you to be based within +3 / -5 UTC.
Oyster is a global employment platform that lets companies hire, pay, and take care of talented people anywhere in the world — without setting up a local entity. Oyster acts as the legal employer in 180+ countries, handling contracts, payroll, benefits, and compliance, so our customers can focus on the work, not the paperwork.
Founded in 2019 and now trusted by 2,500+ companies, Oyster is a fully distributed team working across 60+ countries. We believe that where you happen to live shouldn't govern what work you're able to do, or who you're able to hire — our mission is opportunities for all.
About the Role
Oyster's Go-To-Market organisation is scaling fast, with an ambitious growth agenda that spans new markets, new products, and a step-change in brand and execution. The Chief Revenue Officer needs a strong partner to help the GTM leadership team turn that agenda into disciplined, connected, day-to-day execution.
As Business Manager for the GTM org, you will sit close to the CRO and work directly with the VPs of Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps to keep the organisation running smoothly, moving quickly, and pulling in the same direction. You will be equally comfortable in the detail of an operating cadence and in the judgement calls of a cross-functional strategic project — and you'll take real ownership of outcomes, not just process.
What You'll Do
- Support the GTM leadership team with translating our company strategy into a GTM plan (Objectives, key results, key initiatives amongst the teams) driving focus across the org on what truly matters.
- Deliver a regular cadence in the GTM leadership team to structurally assess progress, sharpen ‘the what’s next’ and driving accountability
- Deliver the GTM QBRs
- Run smooth, connected GTM operations. Partner day-to-day with the VPs of Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps to keep the GTM org operating effectively. Build and maintain the rhythm of the business — leadership meetings, business reviews, planning cycles — and make sure the right information, decisions, and follow-through happen on time.
- Act as a trusted partner to the GTM leadership team.
- Spot operational gaps or risks early and work with the relevant VP to close them.
- Speed up execution. Connect the dots across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps, and remove the silos that slow decisions down. Find where handoffs are breaking, where priorities are misaligned, or where two teams are solving the same problem separately — and fix it.
- Diagnose friction between teams and broker pragmatic, fast resolutions.
- Push initiatives from decision to delivery, not just decision to plan.
- Own strategic internal communication for the GTM org. Be the connective tissue between GTM leadership's priorities and the wider organisation. Shape and run the communication cadence — strategic updates, all-hands content, key messages — so that everyone in GTM understands what matters, why, and what's expected of them.
- Translate strategy and leadership decisions into clear, consistent messaging.
- Build feedback loops so leadership hears what's really happening on the ground.
- Own, design, and run strategic growth projects in GTM. Take direct ownership of cross functional initiatives for the GTM org, end to end — scoping, resourcing, designing, running, and reporting on outcomes, without needing a large team behind you, , by uniting functional teams and RevOps around the key objectives..
- Lead cross-functional projects tied to the CRO's growth priorities, from framing through to measurable results.
- Bring structure and rigour to ambiguous problems, and know when to escalate versus when to just solve it.
- Use your knowledge of other GTM organizations to shortcut to solutions based on best practice and market trends
- Collaborate effectively beyond GTM. Represent the GTM org's needs with Product, Engineering, Finance, Customer Experience, and People teams, and make sure work that depends on other functions lands smoothly and on time.
- Build genuine working relationships with peers across the business, not just transactional asks.
- Flag cross-org dependencies early and help resolve trade-offs before they become blockers.
What You'll Do
Translate strategy into a GTM plan
- Partner with GTM leadership to turn strategy into a GTM plan — OKRs and key initiatives — driving focus across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps.
- Run a regular cadence to track progress, sharpen "what's next," and drive accountability.
Design the key initiatives GTM needs to hit the plan
- Identify and help design the cross-functional initiatives that matter most to the plan.
- Bring structure and rigor to ambiguous problems; know when to escalate versus solve it yourself.
- Draw on your knowledge of other GTM organizations to shortcut to what works.
Drive execution of the highest-stakes cross-functional initiatives
- Own select initiatives tied to the GTM plan end to end — scoping, resourcing, running, reporting — while leveraging the GTM teams around you.
- Push initiatives from decision to delivery, not just decision to plan.
Drive the operating rhythm
- Build and run the operating rhythm — leadership meetings, business reviews, planning cycles, QBRs — so GTM executes on the plan as one team.
- Partner day-to-day with the VPs of Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps as a trusted advisor; spot and close operational gaps early.
- Diagnose friction between teams — broken handoffs, misaligned priorities, duplicated work — and broker fast, pragmatic fixes.
Own strategic internal communication for GTM
- Be the connective tissue between leadership's priorities and the wider org; shape the communication cadence — updates, all-hands content, key messages — so GTM knows what matters and why.
- Build feedback loops so leadership hears what's really happening on the ground.
Collaborate effectively beyond GTM
- Represent GTM's needs with Product, Engineering, Finance, CX, and People through genuine working relationships, not transactional asks.
- Flag cross-org dependencies early and help resolve trade-offs before they become blockers.
What We're Looking For
- 5–8 years of experience in business operations, chief of staff, strategy consulting, or a similar cross-functional operating role, with direct experience working within a GTM organisation (Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps).
- Experience working in or closely with Tech focused go-to-market teams; comfortable with GTM terminology, metrics, and how a revenue org actually runs.
- A strategy consulting background, or similarly rigorous and analytical training, is a strong plus.
- A track record of operating credibly with senior leaders — able to challenge, influence, and get VP- and C-level stakeholders aligned without formal authority.
- Strong programme and project management skills; you can run several complex, ambiguous initiatives at once and still ship.
- Excellent written and verbal communication — able to turn complexity into a clear, honest narrative for different audiences.
- A structured, data-informed approach to problem-solving, paired with the judgement to know when a problem doesn't need a framework.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, pace, and the realities of a scaling, fully distributed company.
- Drive to get things done and making big impact, whether that is rolling up your sleeves to do it yourself or working alongside others to make it happen
What Success Looks Like in the First Year
- The GTM leadership cadence — business reviews, planning, follow-through — runs tightly, and decisions made in the room actually get executed.
- At least one significant cross-functional growth project has been scoped, run, and delivered by you, with a clear before/after result.
- The GTM org can point to a consistent, trusted flow of communication on priorities and progress — fewer surprises, less rumour.
- A specific cross-team silo or bottleneck you identified has been visibly removed.
- The leaders of Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps, and the CRO, would all say the org moves faster with you in it.

Money is moving onto the internet, and the shift has a name:
Open Money.
This is money that is open, portable, agentic, and owned by you. MetaMask spent the last ten years building it; with 100M+ downloads, users in ~190 countries, and trillions in cumulative transaction volume, it's the most trusted self-custodial financial platform on the internet. Now we're building the operating system for your money: one place to hold, move, grow, and use anything you own. Join a remote-first, global team rebuilding how money works: a problem that touches everyone, every day.
About the team
MetaMask's design team is working to establish MetaMask as the premier wallet in fintech, elevating the craft of design and leading the industry as the next phase of decentralized finance unfolds. Our focus is reducing friction while preserving user trust, so more people can safely explore the world of Web3.
Prediction markets are one of the most exciting areas in consumer finance right now, sitting at the intersection of trading, sports, news, culture, and real world events. This is a big growth area for MetaMask, and we're looking for a Lead Product Designer to help shape where it goes next. This is a chance to take real ownership of the end-to-end Prediction Markets experience inside one of the most widely used products in web3 — helping define how people discover markets, understand what's happening, trade, manage positions, and come back as events unfold. The product is still evolving, so much of the experience is still there to be defined, and that's a big part of what makes this role interesting: we're not looking for someone to polish a finished product, we want someone who wants to help shape it. You'll work closely with Product and Engineering, have a strong voice in what we build, and take ideas from early thinking through to something real in the hands of users.
What you’ll do
Own the Prediction Markets experience from early thinking through launch and iteration.
Define how users discover markets, understand them, trade and manage their positions.
Make complex ideas like probabilities, liquidity and market mechanics feel clear and easy to understand.
Work closely with Product and Engineering to shape what we build, not just how it looks.
Prototype quickly using AI to explore ideas and get to stronger solutions faster.
Set a high bar for visual and interaction design, and use research and data to keep improving the product.
Would be great if you brought this to the role
5+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped consumer products.
You have a proven track record of delivering impactful, customer-centric designs that solve complex problems and drive commercial outcomes.
Exceptional visual and interaction design craft, with strong product instincts and attention to detail.
Experience taking complex or ambiguous problems from early ideas through to shipped experiences.
Comfortable using AI, code and modern design tools to explore, iterate and build quickly.
High ownership, strong communication and the confidence to push work forward without waiting for a perfectly defined brief.
Someone who genuinely loves sports and understands how fans follow teams, leagues, games and major sporting events.
Bonus points
Experience in trading, investing, fintech, sports, betting, marketplaces or other high frequency consumer products.
An interest in prediction markets and where the category could go.
Experience working with market data, probabilities, charts or financial positions.
Experience designing discovery, feeds, ranking or personalised content.
Experience with crypto or web3, although deep crypto knowledge is not required.
Don't meet all the requirements? Don't sweat it. We’re passionate about building a diverse team of humans and as such, if you think you've got what it takes for our chaotic-but-fun, remote-friendly, start-up environment—apply anyway, detailing your relevant transferable skills in your cover letter. While we have a pretty good idea of what we need, we're ready for you to challenge our thinking on who needs to be in this role

We are committed to ensuring that our technology empowers people and communities through decentralized technologies. We welcome the range of perspectives and differences and celebrate them. We're excited to see how your unique skills as a builder can contribute to our vision, drive innovation, and help us shape a more inclusive Web3.
