But talent is everywhere. Oyster set out to close that gap - building a global employment platform that lets companies hire, pay, and care for brilliant people anywhere. We're proof that a high-performing culture doesn't need an office. Distributed across 60+ countries since 2020, we've built something the industry keeps noticing: - Ranked #10 of 250 on TIME and Statista's 2026 list of America's Top WorkTech Companies https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-hr-named-10-of-americas-top-worktech-companies-of-2026-by-time - Named one of America's Greatest Startup Workplaces 2026 https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-2026-newsweek-award by Newsweek - A G2 Spring 2026 Leader https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-named-best-roi-for-any-global-employment-platform-for-g2-spring-2026 across Employer of Record, Global Employment, Multi-country Payroll, and HR Compliance - The only B Corp-certified global employment platform ~ independently verified since 2023 Two of those rankings measured our business impact from the outside. One measured how our own people feel about working here. They landed in the same place ~ because at Oyster, culture and performance aren't separate conversations. They're the same one. And we're just getting started. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love for you to apply. THE ROLE Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster's positions are fully remote, you can work from home, forever. To create the best experience for our new hire, this role requires you to be based within +3 / -5 UTC. We’re hiring a Lead Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, and outcomes for a critical area of Oyster’s Employer of Record product. You will shape customer-facing experiences, internal tools, and operational workflows that help companies employ talent globally with confidence, compliance, and simplicity. You will work across the full EOR system, not only individual features, to understand how customer needs, country requirements, policies, data, operational processes, and technology interact. You will start with the customer problem and desired business outcome, use direct discovery and first-principles reasoning to identify root causes, and decide whether the best intervention belongs in product, process, policy, Operations, or a combination. You’ll operate independently, making and communicating difficult trade-offs amid ambiguity. You will constructively challenge requested solutions, align senior stakeholders, and connect product decisions to measurable customer, operational, and commercial impact. You will also identify where AI and automation create real value, and where risk or customer needs call for a human in the loop. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Own the product vision, strategy, prioritization, and measurable outcomes for an EOR sub-domain. - Build a systems-level view of customer journeys, internal workflows, policy constraints, data flows, and exceptions across the EOR lifecycle. - Lead direct customer and operational discovery. Separate symptoms and feature requests from underlying problems, and evaluate product, process, policy, and operational interventions before choosing a solution. - Translate strategy into outcome-based roadmaps with clear decisions, learning plans, and success measures. - Work deeply with Operations and AI Engineers to improve scalability, exception handling, service quality, and cost-to-serve, not simply digitize existing processes. - Partner with Engineering and Design from discovery through delivery, using prototypes and technical insight to reduce risk early. - Constructively challenge and align senior stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Go-to-Market, and communicate strategy, trade-offs, and impact clearly in senior forums. - Contribute repeatable product practices that strengthen discovery, decision quality, and outcome ownership across the Product organization. CORE REQUIREMENTS - 5+ years in Product Management, including demonstrable experience owning a complex product area end-to-end. - 3+ years in HR tech, payroll, benefits, hiring, compliance, or another regulated or operationally complex B2B domain. - Strong systems thinking, with the ability to explain how policy, operations, data, and technology interact, including exceptions and edge cases. - Proven first-principles thinking: the ability to separate the requested feature from the desired outcome and explain why one intervention (product, process, policy, or Operations) was chosen over the alternatives. - Strategic judgment and independence: proven ability to make significant decisions under ambiguity, with explicit trade-offs and a clear view of what was deprioritized. - Deep direct-customer discovery, with examples where conversations with customers and operational teams materially changed the problem definition or planned solution. - Proven ability to constructively challenge, persuade, and align senior stakeholders with competing priorities, and to partner strongly with Operations, Engineering, and Design. - Clear executive communication, with evidence of measurable customer, operational, or commercial impact (e.g. cost-to-serve, cycle time, retention), including the baseline, the change, and how the result was attributed to the decision. Bonus / Nice-to-Have Experience - EOR, payroll, HR technology, benefits, compliance, fintech, healthcare, logistics, or another regulated and operationally complex domain. Transferable experience counts where the complexity is comparable (multi-country rules, compliance exposure, human-in-the-loop workflows). - Scaling products or workflows across countries, customers, teams, or markets. - Hands-on experience prototyping with AI tools or shipping responsible AI- or automation-enabled product experiences. - Fully distributed and multicultural working experience. YOU'LL ALSO NEED - A reliable home internet connection and fluency in both written and spoken English. - High standards for quality, ethics, privacy, and compliance in products that affect people and employment. THE ROLE Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster's positions are fully remote and you can work from home. Forever. To create the best experience for our new hire, this role requires you to be based within -5 / +3 UTC. As Senior Director of Product for our Employer of Record offering, you will own the product vision, strategy and execution across the full EOR employment lifecycle, from onboarding and documentation through time off, benefits, pay and offboarding. That spans the workflows our customers use, the internal tooling our operations teams rely on, and the experience of the employees we employ on our customers' behalf. This is the core of Oyster's business and it is operationally and legally complex. A payroll delay, a contract issue or a compliance gap becomes a customer escalation, a legal question and an operations fire on the same day. We want someone who treats the whole journey as one experience, for our customers and for the people who have to run it. As a part of the senior leadership team at Oyster, you will be shaping strategy well beyond your own teams, setting direction across multiple product development teams and trusted to make the calls that define where this part of the business goes. You will be leading through real change: we are raising the bar on performance, moving toward direct feedback and radical candour, and reshaping how we build with AI. WHAT YOU WILL OWN - Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for EOR, and connect team-level work to company outcomes. - Be accountable for the end-to-end performance of the platform, including the downstream operational reality, not only what ships. - Turn highly localised, complex regulation into scalable, automated workflows rather than manual workarounds held together by our operations teams. - Prioritise across new capability, regulatory requirements, technical debt and operational improvement, across several teams at once. - Coach and grow a team of product managers and group product managers, moving them from delivering features to owning problems and outcomes. - Partner with Engineering and Design leadership as a real counterpart, holding proper tension on trade-offs without dominating or giving in too easily. - Partner with Operations, Legal and Finance to shape where this business goes, including the margin and risk picture. - Build an AI-first way of working in the product organisation: how we discover, prototype and learn, not just what we ship. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - 10+ years in product management, including 5 to 7 years leading other product managers, with measurable business and customer outcomes behind you. - Experience in operationally or legally complex B2B or Fintech. HR tech, EOR, payroll or compliance is ideal, though the complexity matters more to us than the sector. - A systems thinker who starts from first principles and diagnoses before proposing. - Hands-on experience using AI to change how your team works, not only what it ships. We will ask what decision changed because of something you learned. - Able to set product vision at business-unit level and generate real buy-in when priorities shift. - Proven people leadership: coaching product managers into leaders, holding a clear bar, having the difficult conversation early. - Experience leading through structural change, and comfort with ambiguity as an opportunity rather than a risk. - Communication strong enough to influence senior stakeholders, backed by a mechanism that turns agreement into delivery. You'll also need - A reliable home internet connection, or be able to get one. - Fluent English language skills. Location: Fully remote. To create the best experience for you and to meet our business needs, this role requires you to be based either within EMEA or Americas. As a GTM Engineer you'll be the technical operator behind Oyster's revenue engine. You'll build, connect, and automate the software systems that drive pipeline. Turning high-level commercial strategy into workflows that run reliably, without anyone even touching them. Sitting in Revenue Operations, you'll work alongside GTM Teams. Our GTM stack spans a CRM, enrichment and data providers, outbound tooling, our marketing automation platform, the data warehouse, and Oyster's own product APIs. Your job is to make that a coherent system rather than a pile of disconnected tools: clean data flowing to the right place, leads scored and routed in seconds, and reps working from information they can trust. AI is a key part of the toolkit - you'll use it across the end-to-end funnel to automate and boost workflows, for things like prospect research at volume, personalisation, and buying-signal detection. Where a traditional ops hire would build a rules-based scoring model, you'll build an agent that reads a prospect's careers page, funding history, and hiring footprint and hands a rep a research brief worth acting on. The foundation is a strong combination of commercial processes, systems and data - that's where the work lives. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES - Design the architecture of the GTM stack: CRM objects and fields, lifecycle stages, territory and routing logic, sync patterns between systems, and the contracts between them. - Integrate systems end to end: CRM (Salesforce), enrichment providers (Clay, Zoominfo), outbound and sequencing platforms (Nooks, Salesloft), marketing automation (Hubspot), the data warehouse, and Oyster's product APIs (using APIs, webhooks, and scripts rather than waiting for a native connector) - Ship AI-driven GTM workflows - prompt chains, agents, and signal-detection pipelines that automate prospect research, personalised outreach, and real-time buying-signal alerts and more. - Optimise our commercial processes. It’s not only about installing Tech & AI, it is also about taking ownership and evolving the ways we generate revenue. - Build automated data waterfalls that pull, clean, deduplicate, and route prospect and account data into the CRM, so reps work from data they can trust. - Work in a system that's already live. Reverse-engineer existing processes and the reasoning behind them, identify what to keep versus replace, and land changes through a migration plan that keeps pipeline, reporting, and day-to-day selling intact throughout. - Instrument what you build: define the metric each workflow is supposed to move, measure it, and evaluate output quality so automations stay trustworthy as they scale. - Keep the stack maintainable and compliant - sensible data handling, monitoring and alerting on the pipelines or agents you build, documented workflows, and no single points of failure that live only in your head. - Partner with GTM to translate commercial goals into technical solutions, and be honest about which ideas are worth building. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - 5+ years in a GTM engineering, Revenue operations, growth engineering, or marketing/sales engineering role, or a software engineering background you've deliberately pointed at revenue problems. - Clear, proven examples of solutions you've implemented that drove measurable pipeline impact. We'll ask you to walk us through them: what you built, why, and what moved as a result. Specifics matter more than scale - Deep, hands-on knowledge of the modern GTM stack. You've architected a CRM rather than just administered one: navigating existing processes to own the re-configuration of objects and fields, lifecycle stages, routing and territory logic, and the sync patterns that keep multiple systems consistent. Salesforce or HubSpot, plus enrichment providers, outbound and sequencing tools, marketing automation, and platforms such as Clay. - You build custom integrations, and can wire up a tool nobody at the company has used before from the docs alone. - Experience owning production workflows: error handling, retries, idempotency, monitoring, and alerting. - Working experience using AI/LLMs in a GTM or automation context - prompt and context engineering, and strong judgement to know where a model beats a rule and where it doesn't - Commercial instinct. You understand funnel mechanics, conversion rates, and unit economics well enough to spot which automation is worth building and which is a distraction - A bias toward shipping. You prototype quickly, put things in front of real users, and iterate rather than designing in the abstract.
