- Turn ambiguous customer and market signals into clear recommendations for Product, Sales, and Marketing.
- Develop competitive messaging against inference providers, cloud platforms, and internal DIY alternatives
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with Engineering to ensure technical claims are accurate, defensible, and supported by real product behavior.

- Conduct executive content audits and gap analyses across senior voices
- Refine and systematize content production workflows with predictable cadences
- Develop flagship thought leadership pieces and corporate storytelling output

✨ ONE PLATFORM, A WHOLE WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY
The best jobs have always clustered in a handful of the world's wealthiest cities. But talent is everywhere. Oyster set out to close that gap - building a global employment platform that lets companies hire, pay, and care for brilliant people anywhere.
We're proof that a high-performing culture doesn't need an office. Distributed across 60+ countries since 2020, we've built something the industry keeps noticing:
- Ranked #10 of 250 on TIME and Statista's 2026 list of America's Top WorkTech Companies https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-hr-named-10-of-americas-top-worktech-companies-of-2026-by-time
- Named one of America's Greatest Startup Workplaces 2026 https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-2026-newsweek-award by Newsweek
- A G2 Spring 2026 Leader https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-named-best-roi-for-any-global-employment-platform-for-g2-spring-2026 across Employer of Record, Global Employment, Multi-country Payroll, and HR Compliance
- The only B Corp-certified global employment platform ~ independently verified since 2023
Two of those rankings measured our business impact from the outside. One measured how our own people feel about working here. They landed in the same place ~ because at Oyster, culture and performance aren't separate conversations. They're the same one.
And we're just getting started. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love for you to apply.
Location: Fully remote. To create the best experience for you and to meet our business needs, this role requires you to be based either within EMEA or Americas.
As a GTM Engineer you'll be the technical operator behind Oyster's revenue engine. You'll build, connect, and automate the software systems that drive pipeline. Turning high-level commercial strategy into workflows that run reliably, without anyone even touching them.
Sitting in Revenue Operations, you'll work alongside GTM Teams. Our GTM stack spans a CRM, enrichment and data providers, outbound tooling, our marketing automation platform, the data warehouse, and Oyster's own product APIs. Your job is to make that a coherent system rather than a pile of disconnected tools: clean data flowing to the right place, leads scored and routed in seconds, and reps working from information they can trust.
AI is a key part of the toolkit - you'll use it across the end-to-end funnel to automate and boost workflows, for things like prospect research at volume, personalisation, and buying-signal detection. Where a traditional ops hire would build a rules-based scoring model, you'll build an agent that reads a prospect's careers page, funding history, and hiring footprint and hands a rep a research brief worth acting on.
The foundation is a strong combination of commercial processes, systems and data - that's where the work lives.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design the architecture of the GTM stack: CRM objects and fields, lifecycle stages, territory and routing logic, sync patterns between systems, and the contracts between them.
- Integrate systems end to end: CRM (Salesforce), enrichment providers (Clay, Zoominfo), outbound and sequencing platforms (Nooks, Salesloft), marketing automation (Hubspot), the data warehouse, and Oyster's product APIs (using APIs, webhooks, and scripts rather than waiting for a native connector)
- Ship AI-driven GTM workflows - prompt chains, agents, and signal-detection pipelines that automate prospect research, personalised outreach, and real-time buying-signal alerts and more.
- Optimise our commercial processes. It’s not only about installing Tech & AI, it is also about taking ownership and evolving the ways we generate revenue.
- Build automated data waterfalls that pull, clean, deduplicate, and route prospect and account data into the CRM, so reps work from data they can trust.
- Work in a system that's already live. Reverse-engineer existing processes and the reasoning behind them, identify what to keep versus replace, and land changes through a migration plan that keeps pipeline, reporting, and day-to-day selling intact throughout.
- Instrument what you build: define the metric each workflow is supposed to move, measure it, and evaluate output quality so automations stay trustworthy as they scale.
- Keep the stack maintainable and compliant - sensible data handling, monitoring and alerting on the pipelines or agents you build, documented workflows, and no single points of failure that live only in your head.
- Partner with GTM to translate commercial goals into technical solutions, and be honest about which ideas are worth building.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years in a GTM engineering, Revenue operations, growth engineering, or marketing/sales engineering role, or a software engineering background you've deliberately pointed at revenue problems.
- Clear, proven examples of solutions you've implemented that drove measurable pipeline impact. We'll ask you to walk us through them: what you built, why, and what moved as a result. Specifics matter more than scale
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of the modern GTM stack. You've architected a CRM rather than just administered one: navigating existing processes to own the re-configuration of objects and fields, lifecycle stages, routing and territory logic, and the sync patterns that keep multiple systems consistent. Salesforce or HubSpot, plus enrichment providers, outbound and sequencing tools, marketing automation, and platforms such as Clay.
- You build custom integrations, and can wire up a tool nobody at the company has used before from the docs alone.
- Experience owning production workflows: error handling, retries, idempotency, monitoring, and alerting.
- Working experience using AI/LLMs in a GTM or automation context - prompt and context engineering, and strong judgement to know where a model beats a rule and where it doesn't
- Commercial instinct. You understand funnel mechanics, conversion rates, and unit economics well enough to spot which automation is worth building and which is a distraction
- A bias toward shipping. You prototype quickly, put things in front of real users, and iterate rather than designing in the abstract.

Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster’s positions are fully remote and you can work from home. Forever. To create the best experience for our new hire, this role requires you to be based within +3 / -5 UTC.
Oyster is a global employment platform that lets companies hire, pay, and take care of talented people anywhere in the world — without setting up a local entity. Oyster acts as the legal employer in 180+ countries, handling contracts, payroll, benefits, and compliance, so our customers can focus on the work, not the paperwork.
Founded in 2019 and now trusted by 2,500+ companies, Oyster is a fully distributed team working across 60+ countries. We believe that where you happen to live shouldn't govern what work you're able to do, or who you're able to hire — our mission is opportunities for all.
About the Role
Oyster's Go-To-Market organisation is scaling fast, with an ambitious growth agenda that spans new markets, new products, and a step-change in brand and execution. The Chief Revenue Officer needs a strong partner to help the GTM leadership team turn that agenda into disciplined, connected, day-to-day execution.
As Business Manager for the GTM org, you will sit close to the CRO and work directly with the VPs of Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps to keep the organisation running smoothly, moving quickly, and pulling in the same direction. You will be equally comfortable in the detail of an operating cadence and in the judgement calls of a cross-functional strategic project — and you'll take real ownership of outcomes, not just process.
What You'll Do
- Support the GTM leadership team with translating our company strategy into a GTM plan (Objectives, key results, key initiatives amongst the teams) driving focus across the org on what truly matters.
- Deliver a regular cadence in the GTM leadership team to structurally assess progress, sharpen ‘the what’s next’ and driving accountability
- Deliver the GTM QBRs
- Run smooth, connected GTM operations. Partner day-to-day with the VPs of Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps to keep the GTM org operating effectively. Build and maintain the rhythm of the business — leadership meetings, business reviews, planning cycles — and make sure the right information, decisions, and follow-through happen on time.
- Act as a trusted partner to the GTM leadership team.
- Spot operational gaps or risks early and work with the relevant VP to close them.
- Speed up execution. Connect the dots across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps, and remove the silos that slow decisions down. Find where handoffs are breaking, where priorities are misaligned, or where two teams are solving the same problem separately — and fix it.
- Diagnose friction between teams and broker pragmatic, fast resolutions.
- Push initiatives from decision to delivery, not just decision to plan.
- Own strategic internal communication for the GTM org. Be the connective tissue between GTM leadership's priorities and the wider organisation. Shape and run the communication cadence — strategic updates, all-hands content, key messages — so that everyone in GTM understands what matters, why, and what's expected of them.
- Translate strategy and leadership decisions into clear, consistent messaging.
- Build feedback loops so leadership hears what's really happening on the ground.
- Own, design, and run strategic growth projects in GTM. Take direct ownership of cross functional initiatives for the GTM org, end to end — scoping, resourcing, designing, running, and reporting on outcomes, without needing a large team behind you, , by uniting functional teams and RevOps around the key objectives..
- Lead cross-functional projects tied to the CRO's growth priorities, from framing through to measurable results.
- Bring structure and rigour to ambiguous problems, and know when to escalate versus when to just solve it.
- Use your knowledge of other GTM organizations to shortcut to solutions based on best practice and market trends
- Collaborate effectively beyond GTM. Represent the GTM org's needs with Product, Engineering, Finance, Customer Experience, and People teams, and make sure work that depends on other functions lands smoothly and on time.
- Build genuine working relationships with peers across the business, not just transactional asks.
- Flag cross-org dependencies early and help resolve trade-offs before they become blockers.
What You'll Do
Translate strategy into a GTM plan
- Partner with GTM leadership to turn strategy into a GTM plan — OKRs and key initiatives — driving focus across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps.
- Run a regular cadence to track progress, sharpen "what's next," and drive accountability.
Design the key initiatives GTM needs to hit the plan
- Identify and help design the cross-functional initiatives that matter most to the plan.
- Bring structure and rigor to ambiguous problems; know when to escalate versus solve it yourself.
- Draw on your knowledge of other GTM organizations to shortcut to what works.
Drive execution of the highest-stakes cross-functional initiatives
- Own select initiatives tied to the GTM plan end to end — scoping, resourcing, running, reporting — while leveraging the GTM teams around you.
- Push initiatives from decision to delivery, not just decision to plan.
Drive the operating rhythm
- Build and run the operating rhythm — leadership meetings, business reviews, planning cycles, QBRs — so GTM executes on the plan as one team.
- Partner day-to-day with the VPs of Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps as a trusted advisor; spot and close operational gaps early.
- Diagnose friction between teams — broken handoffs, misaligned priorities, duplicated work — and broker fast, pragmatic fixes.
Own strategic internal communication for GTM
- Be the connective tissue between leadership's priorities and the wider org; shape the communication cadence — updates, all-hands content, key messages — so GTM knows what matters and why.
- Build feedback loops so leadership hears what's really happening on the ground.
Collaborate effectively beyond GTM
- Represent GTM's needs with Product, Engineering, Finance, CX, and People through genuine working relationships, not transactional asks.
- Flag cross-org dependencies early and help resolve trade-offs before they become blockers.
What We're Looking For
- 5–8 years of experience in business operations, chief of staff, strategy consulting, or a similar cross-functional operating role, with direct experience working within a GTM organisation (Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps).
- Experience working in or closely with Tech focused go-to-market teams; comfortable with GTM terminology, metrics, and how a revenue org actually runs.
- A strategy consulting background, or similarly rigorous and analytical training, is a strong plus.
- A track record of operating credibly with senior leaders — able to challenge, influence, and get VP- and C-level stakeholders aligned without formal authority.
- Strong programme and project management skills; you can run several complex, ambiguous initiatives at once and still ship.
- Excellent written and verbal communication — able to turn complexity into a clear, honest narrative for different audiences.
- A structured, data-informed approach to problem-solving, paired with the judgement to know when a problem doesn't need a framework.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, pace, and the realities of a scaling, fully distributed company.
- Drive to get things done and making big impact, whether that is rolling up your sleeves to do it yourself or working alongside others to make it happen
What Success Looks Like in the First Year
- The GTM leadership cadence — business reviews, planning, follow-through — runs tightly, and decisions made in the room actually get executed.
- At least one significant cross-functional growth project has been scoped, run, and delivered by you, with a clear before/after result.
- The GTM org can point to a consistent, trusted flow of communication on priorities and progress — fewer surprises, less rumour.
- A specific cross-team silo or bottleneck you identified has been visibly removed.
- The leaders of Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps, and the CRO, would all say the org moves faster with you in it.

About the Role
Our Business Intelligence department owns financial data and analytics at the most granular level—from individual transactions and counterparties to products, clients, and business segments. We collect cost and revenue data from external counterparties, transform it into appropriate booking logic, and ensure it is correctly reflected in the General Ledger and analytical systems. We are looking for a Cost & Revenue Controller to take hands-on ownership of this process—ensuring data is collected completely, booked correctly, reconciled, and any discrepancies are identified and resolved. The role sits between Finance, BI, and Technology, bridging financial requirements with technical implementation.
Reporting Line
— Head of Business Intelligence
Worksite
— Remote
What You Will Do
Cost & Revenue Collection
Own the process from raw counterparty statements through to final booking.
Understand individual cost and revenue items and define appropriate collection and booking logic.
Support onboarding of new products and counterparties.
Ensure costs and revenues are correctly mapped to General Ledger accounts, products, and business categories.
Reconciliation & Data Quality
Reconcile counterparty statements against internal data and the General Ledger.
Identify missing, duplicated, incorrectly classified, or incorrectly booked items.
Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and coordinate their resolution.
Develop automated reconciliation and validation controls.
Define and monitor data-quality and error KPIs.
Business & Technology Integration
Translate financial and business requirements into clear requirements for technical teams.
Follow implementations through development, testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
Validate that implemented solutions reflect the intended financial and accounting logic.
Act as a bridge between Finance, BI, Operations, and Technology.
Incident & Process Management
Own financial data-quality incidents and ensure they are resolved within agreed SLAs.
Perform root-cause analysis and drive permanent solutions for recurring issues.
Continuously improve and automate reconciliation and control processes.
Use SQL, Claude Code, and other analytical tools to investigate data and build reconciliation and control solutions.

Strong understanding of reconciliation principles, financial controls, and accounting.
Experience working with General Ledger and detailed financial data.
Strong logical and analytical thinking with the ability to investigate complex discrepancies.
Ability to translate financial requirements into requirements for technical teams.
Strong attention to detail and focus on data quality.
Ability to work independently and own problems through to resolution.
Nice to Have:

Experience designing automated reconciliation and financial controls.
Experience building applications or analytical tools using Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development environments.
Experience with Power BI, Python, or similar analytical tools.
Previous audit experience, including Big Four.
We Offer
Competitive salary that reflects your experience and the value you bring.
Flexibility that fits your life — work from home, from our office, or a mix of both. You decide what works best.
Flexible benefits package — choose the options that suit your life, not a one-size-fits-all bundle.
A genuinely good place to work — an informal, collaborative culture where ideas are heard and bureaucracy stays out of your way.
Continuous learning — ongoing training, education programs, and the support to deepen your expertise in a fast-moving industry.
Connection beyond your desk — events that bring our teams together to network and celebrate.
Global exposure — work side by side with talented colleagues from all over the world, across a business serving clients in 100+ countries.

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
Kraken's Market Surveillance function is responsible for detecting, investigating and reporting market abuse across our regulated trading venues, spanning spot crypto markets, crypto futures, tokenised equities, OTC markets, and consumer trading. As our licensing footprint and product range grow, so does the scale and complexity of the surveillance programme behind them.
We're hiring a Principal Compliance Associate to take on the function's most complex casework, and help shape how we detect and cover market abuse as the business scales.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Own complex investigations end to end, writing findings up to a standard a regulator can rely on, and present conclusions to a range of stakeholders.
- Lead or contribute to periodic threshold and model reviews, recalibrating surveillance rules and alert thresholds as trading behaviour, products and market structure evolve.
- Support the design, build-out and integration of surveillance platform capability, including onboarding new products, venues and data sources onto the surveillance system.
- Contribute to market abuse risk assessments, helping identify and score risk across products, jurisdictions and entities, and translate findings into surveillance coverage.
- Use AI and automation tools responsibly to speed up evidence-gathering, case reconstruction and detection-model development, always with human judgement over the final call.
- Support conflicts of interest, information barrier, and personal account dealing matters across Markets Compliance, extending beyond surveillance casework where buy-side or asset management experience is directly relevant.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience investigating market abuse or trading conduct inside a firm subject to market conduct regulation, such as an exchange, broker-dealer, trading venue, or comparable regulated trading business.
- A track record running investigations end to end, including writing findings up to a standard a regulator can rely on and presenting conclusions to stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of core market abuse typologies e.g. spoofing, wash trading, insider trading, front running, ramping.
- Experience with, or strong working knowledge of, threshold and model calibration, surveillance platform integration, market abuse risk assessments, and audit remediation.
- Comfort using generative AI and other automation tools to improve the speed and quality of investigative work, while maintaining the human oversight regulated casework requires.
- Familiarity with a surveillance platform (such as Scila, Nasdaq SMARTS, Eventus, or NICE Actimize) and comfort with SQL or a similar query tool for evidence-gathering.
- Clear, evidence-first written communication - your case files, escalations and regulatory drafts will sometimes be read by auditors and regulators without you in the room to explain them.
- Exposure to crypto-asset markets is welcomed but not required. What matters most is regulated-market investigation experience; strong candidates from traditional securities or derivatives markets are encouraged to apply.
NICE TO HAVES
- E-comms surveillance experience.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior/Staff Data Scientist to join our growing Data team and serve as a strategic analytics partner across Render. As we scale, we're tackling increasingly complex questions across our product, customers, and business, from how developers discover and adopt Render, to what drives engagement and retention, to how we prioritize investments and identify new opportunities for growth.
You'll partner with leaders and teams across Product, Growth, Go-to-Market, Finance, and other functions, focusing on some combination of data analytics, analytics engineering, machine learning, and experimentation based on your strengths, interests, and Render's highest-priority needs. You'll turn ambiguous questions into rigorous analysis, define how we measure success, and translate complex data into decisions and action.
As a Senior/Staff-level individual contributor, you'll also help set the standard for analytics at Render, shaping our measurement frameworks, analytical practices, and how teams across the company use data to make better decisions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Serve as a strategic analytics partner. Work closely with leaders and cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Growth, Go-to-Market, Finance, and other teams to identify high-impact questions, frame decisions, and determine how success should be measured.
- Define meaningful metrics and measurement frameworks. Develop the KPIs and frameworks teams use to understand performance across areas such as acquisition, activation, adoption, engagement, retention, conversion, expansion, and customer outcomes.
- Turn data into strategy. Surface patterns across our users, customers, products, and business. Identify opportunities, diagnose friction, and help teams determine where to invest and what to prioritize.
- Shape our approach to experimentation and evaluation. Design and analyze experiments where appropriate, develop guardrail metrics and other methods for evaluating initiatives, and help teams choose the right analytical approach for the decision at hand.
- Build measurement into how we work. Partner with teams to define instrumentation and measurement plans early, ensuring new products, programs, and initiatives can be evaluated reliably after launch.
- Build trusted analytical foundations. Build and maintain dbt models, semantic and context layers in partnership with Analytics Engineering, transforming behavioral and business data into reliable datasets that support decision-making across Render.
- Raise the bar for analytics. Establish analytical best practices, improve how teams use data in decision-making, and mentor scientists and cross-functional partners on measurement, experimentation, and data literacy.
- Help shape the future of analytics at Render. Explore how AI-assisted tools can make analytics faster and more accessible while maintaining a high bar for accuracy, context, and analytical judgment.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 7+ years of analytics experience, with a track record of shaping strategy and influencing decisions across complex or ambiguous problem spaces.
- Strong business and product judgment. You can take an ambiguous question, identify what really needs to be understood, and determine the right analytical approach to inform a decision.
- Experience defining and using metrics across some combination of Product, Growth, Go-to-Market, Finance, or other business domains, for example acquisition, activation, adoption, engagement, retention, conversion, expansion, or revenue.
- Strong SQL skills. Writing complex, efficient SQL and independently exploring large datasets is a core part of how you work.
- Experience using experimentation, statistical analysis, or other rigorous evaluation methods to understand impact, along with judgment about when each approach is appropriate.
- Experience with modern analytics tooling such as Metabase, Mixpanel, dbt, BigQuery, Segment, and Git.
- A track record of influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders without direct authority. You're comfortable challenging assumptions, creating clarity from ambiguity, and driving alignment around what the data says.
- Excellent communication skills. You can turn complex analysis into a clear narrative, explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and build the relationships necessary to drive action.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding or analytics tools such as Codex, Cursor, or Claude Code to accelerate analysis, data modeling, instrumentation, or visualization.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Expertise in statistical methods beyond traditional A/B testing, such as causal inference, cohort and survival analysis, or time-series analysis.
- Experience with developer-focused, product-led, sales-led, or usage-based businesses.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, PaaS, developer tooling, or other technically complex products.
- Experience analyzing multi-product or multi-segment businesses and understanding behavior across interconnected customer journeys.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior/Staff Analytics Engineer to join our growing Data team and lead the evolution of our Analytics Engineering platform. As Render scales, you'll build the foundations that turn raw data into trusted, reusable models for analytics, executive reporting, and AI-assisted decision-making.
In this role, you'll partner closely with analysts, scientists, data engineers, and teams across Product, Engineering, Growth, Go-to-Market, Finance, and other business functions. - Partner closely with analysts and scientists. Help analysts and scientists translate domain-specific business logic into scalable, maintainable warehouse models, moving shared logic out of individual reports and dashboards and into governed datasets.
- Improve reliability and efficiency. Partner with Data Engineering to strengthen source data quality, warehouse architecture, and BigQuery performance and cost efficiency.
- Raise the bar for Analytics Engineering. Mentor analysts, scientists, and analytics engineers on dbt development, dimensional modeling, and engineering best practices, and help teams adopt shared standards.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 7+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related technical field, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience running dbt in production.
- Expert-level SQL skills and a track record of designing and owning scalable Kimball dimensional models.

- Strong understanding of modern cloud data warehouse architecture, performance optimization, and cost efficiency, with experience in platforms such as BigQuery, Databricks, or Snowflake.
- A track record of establishing technical standards, influencing engineering practices without formal authority, and improving reliability while reducing technical debt.
- Proven ability to partner closely with analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable data models.
- Excellent communication skills. You can explain complex technical concepts and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences and build alignment across teams.
- Experience building data models that connect product usage, acquisition, CRM, and financial data across the customer lifecycle.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding or analytics tools such as Codex, Cursor, or Claude Code to accelerate data modeling, testing, documentation, or exploration.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Hands-on experience with Render’s analytics stack, including BigQuery, Segment, dbt, and analytics tools such as Metabase or Mixpanel.

About LaunchDarkly:
Modern software delivery was supposed to be the foundation for a thriving digital business but reality has proven otherwise. The LaunchDarkly platform helps developers innovate on new features faster while protecting them with a safety valve to instantly rewind when things go wrong. Developers can target product experiences to any customer segment and maximize the business impact of every feature. And by gradually rolling out new application components, they escape nightmare "big-bang" technology migrations.
The LaunchDarkly platform was built to guide engineers to the next frontier of DevOps by:
Improving the velocity and stability of software releases, without the fear of end customer outages
Delivering targeted experiences by easily personalizing features to customer cohorts
Maximizing the business impact of every feature through the ability to experiment and optimize
Coordinating the release and optimization of software to provide consistent experiences across mobile platforms and device types
Improving the effectiveness and productivity of engineering teams, by providing insights into engineering cadence and stability
