Provectus is an AWS Premier Partner and an Anthropic Strategic Partner, helping enterprises across Financial Services and Life Sciences design, build, and operate production AI systems. Our Forward Deployed Engineering model lets us embed with clients and deliver AI outcomes, not just advice. With offices in North America, LATAM, and EMEA, we partner with clients worldwide to reimagine how they operate and compete.
We're looking for a Business Development & Partnerships Associate to help grow two revenue motions: converting partner-sourced leads from Anthropic and AWS into Provectus clients, and building new pipeline in our target industries. This is a high-growth role for someone with solid BD experience who wants to sell AI services at the center of the industry's most important partnerships. You'll work closely with our BD leadership, take ownership of deals as you grow, and develop into a full-cycle enterprise seller.
What You'll Do
Partner motion: Anthropic and AWS
Act as a day-to-day point of contact for Anthropic's and AWS's partner and field sales teams.
Receive and qualify enterprise leads shared by our partners, run discovery calls, and move qualified opportunities through to proposal and signed SOW, with support from BD leadership on larger deals.
Keep the joint pipeline up to date, and help prepare quarterly business reviews and co-sell planning sessions.
Build relationships with Anthropic and AWS field reps so Provectus is their first call for implementation needs.
Support partner program activities: certifications, co-marketing campaigns, case studies, and partner events.
New business development
Prospect into enterprise accounts in Financial Services and Life Sciences through outbound, networking, events, and referrals.
Run discovery, scope opportunities with our architects, and own deals through the sales cycle.
Build a growing network of decision-makers on the East Coast.
Cross-functional collaboration
Work with delivery leads and solution architects to scope proposals accurately. You'll be selling consulting engagements, not software licenses.
Share market insights (buyer objections, competitor moves, industry trends) with leadership and marketing.
What You Bring
3–5 years of experience
in business development, partnerships, or sales, ideally in B2B technology, cloud, or consulting.
Hands-on experience working with a technology partner ecosystem (AWS, Anthropic, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar), for example co-selling, joint pipeline, or co-marketing.
A track record of moving deals through the sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to proposal and close.
Strong written and verbal communication, and confidence presenting to VP-level and senior stakeholders.
Curiosity about AI and a genuine interest in how enterprises adopt it.
Comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you take ownership without being micromanaged.
Willingness to travel up to 40% for client meetings, workshops, partner events, and conferences.
Nice to Have
Experience in Financial Services (banking, insurance, capital markets) or Life Sciences (pharma, biotech).
Experience selling services or statement-of-work (SOW) engagements rather than SaaS subscriptions.
Exposure to AI/ML, LLM-based products, or cloud data solutions.
An existing network in New York's financial services or life sciences communities.
Why Join Us
Work at the intersection of two of the most powerful partnerships in AI: Anthropic and AWS.
Sell with confidence, backed by a world-class AI/ML team that delivers what you sell.
Learn directly from experienced BD leadership, with a clear path to a senior partnerships or sales role.
High-impact role with direct visibility to leadership.
Strong earning potential with performance-based bonuses.
Choice of B2B contract or full-time employment.
Unlimited vacation policy.
Generous health, vision, and dental insurance.
401(k) matching plan.
OTE range $120-140k. The salary range is determined through interviews and a review of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, and alignment with market data.

About the role:
We’re looking for an FP&A Manager, Product to join our Finance team. You’ll be the financial lead for our Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) organizations—owning OpEx and headcount planning while building scalable systems that improve visibility and decision-making. You’ll partner cross-functionally with Engineering leadership, People, and Strategic Finance to ensure investments are intentional, efficient, and aligned with long-term company strategy.
What you'll do:
Own the Product investment envelope
– Manage OpEx and headcount budgets across EPD. Ensure investments align with company strategy while maintaining disciplined spend and margin targets.
Drive rigorous workforce planning across technical and corporate teams
– Build bottom-up headcount models by function and level. Partner with Engineering leaders to sequence hiring against roadmap needs, compliance requirements, and operational scale.
Model infrastructure and internal systems economics
– Develop clear forecasting models for cloud hosting, AI/compute, internal tooling, SaaS applications, and enterprise systems. Identify optimization opportunities across both product infrastructure and corporate tech stack.
Translate roadmap and corporate priorities into financial tradeoffs
– Evaluate build vs. buy decisions, capitalizable vs. expensed R&D, and vendor investments across EPD. Provide clear recommendations grounded in ROI and long-term cost structure impact.
Elevate budget vs. actuals rigor across the organization
– Lead monthly BvA reviews for EPD. Automate reporting, improve accrual accuracy, and surface actionable insights—not just variance explanations.
Design scalable financial controls without slowing teams down
– Implement approval workflows for headcount, vendor spend, and enterprise tooling that are disciplined, fast, and transparent. Use automation and AI to reduce manual review and eliminate bottlenecks.
What you need:
Proven partner to Engineering leaders
– You’ve supported technical teams and corporate functions, understanding how product velocity and operational infrastructure translate into financial outcomes.
Fluent in infrastructure and SaaS cost drivers
– You understand cloud economics, AI/compute scaling, enterprise tooling, and how architecture and vendor decisions impact margins.
Strong operator in workforce planning
– You’ve managed complex headcount models across multiple departments, aligning hiring pace with financial guardrails.
Advanced financial modeler
– You build scenario-driven models with clear assumptions and sensitivity analysis that stand up to executive scrutiny.
Precision-focused and systems-oriented
– You eliminate blind spots in forecasting, improve accrual accuracy, and build processes that scale without creating bureaucracy.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

Senior Software Engineer, AI Enablement
The role & impact
You'll join a small team that builds the tools, platforms and best practices helping engineers across Xero work with AI. Rather than shipping something once and moving on, you'll own it end to end from early experimentation through to production, including the run books, monitoring and rollback thinking that keep it reliable once real engineers depend on it day to day.
This is a role with real influence. You'll help shape the technical direction of an internal skills marketplace and AI distribution platform used across the wider engineering organisation, work directly with vendors like AWS, Microsoft and GitHub on technology that isn't public yet, and help guide and challenge a team that's still early in its AI journey.
The team & how they connect
The AI Enablement team sits within Engineering Experience and focuses on helping product engineering teams work faster and better with AI through platforms, tooling and practical guidance rather than just standard tooling. It's a close-knit team, spread across Melbourne, Sydney and the Sunshine Coast, with a product manager based in Wellington, who stay connected through regular syncs and a genuinely collaborative way of working despite the distance.
Initially, you will focus on
- Our current stack is C#, .NET and AWS, with Python and TypeScript picked up along the way for AI tooling
- Building an internal skills marketplace and a distribution platform for AI tools used across Xero's engineering org
- Developing guidance and best practice for authoring agent skills, including agents for remediation tasks
- Collaborating directly with AWS, Microsoft and GitHub on early-access technology not yet available in market
Where and how you can work
You can be based anywhere in Australia, and we're also open to candidates based in New Zealand. The team works in a hybrid way and is used to connecting across time zones, with regular in person boost days to come together, plan and collaborate as a team.
Here are some of the things we're looking for, for this role
- You bring hands-on software engineering experience, ideally with C#, .NET and AWS — if your background is elsewhere, we're still keen to talk, as good engineers pick up new stacks quickly
- You've built internal tools or platforms that other engineers genuinely relied on
- Production discipline matters to you: You write runbooks, set up monitoring and think through rollback before anything goes live
- You communicate clearly and know how to bring people along with an idea, not just ship code quietly in the background
- You're curious about coding agents and AI-native tools, and you keep an eye on where AI engineering is heading
- You can challenge a decision directly and respectfully, and you learn new things in a structured, quality-focused way
Apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team.

Job Summary
This is a rare 0→1 Founding Engineer opportunity to build a financial platform from the ground up within an already established and profitable ecosystem.
We are looking for an exceptionally strong, hands-on engineer with direct fintech experience who has previously built core banking, payments, ledger, cards, or money-movement infrastructure at an established fintech, neobank, or financial technology company.
This is not a management-first position. We need someone who still wants to architect systems, solve difficult technical problems, and write production code. You will work directly with the founders and an existing technical developer, taking significant ownership of the architecture, product, and technical direction.
As the platform scales, you will also have the opportunity to help shape and build the engineering team around you.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and build core financial infrastructure, including accounts, balances, ledgers, transaction state machines, and money-movement systems.
Build KYC/KYB, onboarding, compliance, permissions, limits, and approval workflows.
Design integrations with banking partners, card issuers, payment rails, FX providers, and other financial infrastructure partners.
Develop provider-independent architecture that supports multiple banking and financial providers without vendor lock-in.
Build secure, reliable APIs and financial data models capable of handling reconciliation, event processing, retries, and exception handling.
Own technical problems end-to-end, from architecture and database design through implementation and production deployment.
Work directly with the founders to translate product requirements and business constraints into scalable technical solutions.
Help establish engineering standards, technology choices, and the long-term technical direction of the platform.
Requirements
3–8+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend or full-stack fundamentals.
Direct experience building financial infrastructure within a fintech, neobank, payments company, or similar financial technology environment.
Experience with core banking, payments, ledgers, cards, FX, reconciliation, KYC/KYB, or money movement.
Proven experience building production-grade APIs and distributed systems.
Strong database architecture and data-modeling skills.
Experience with asynchronous workflows, queues, events, retries, idempotency, and transaction processing.
Strong engineering judgment and product instincts, particularly when balancing speed, scalability, reliability, and correctness.
Comfortable operating in a highly ambiguous 0→1 environment and taking significant ownership without requiring extensive direction.
Natural initiative, creativity, and problem-solving ability.
Highly hands-on and excited to continue writing production code rather than moving into a primarily managerial role.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience as a strong individual contributor, early engineer, founding engineer, or technical lead within a high-growth fintech.
Background at companies such as Revolut, Wise, Monzo, N26, Nubank, Brex, Stripe, Plaid, Airwallex, Nium, Razorpay, Adyen, Checkout.com, PayPal, Column, Modern Treasury, or similar.
Deep understanding of financial ledgers, reconciliation, transaction processing, or money-movement architecture.
Experience integrating multiple banking, payment, card, or financial infrastructure providers.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements surrounding KYC/KYB and international financial services.
Experience building multi-currency, FX, card issuing, or cross-border payments products.
Previous experience helping build a product or engineering function from an early stage.
Benefits
💰 Milestone-based compensation
🌎 Fully remote and flexible work environment
🚀 High-impact founding role with 0→1 ownership
📈 Direct influence over architecture and technical direction
🎯 Opportunity to build on top of an already profitable platform
🛠️ Modern tech stack and provider-agnostic architecture
🧠 Collaborative environment working directly with experienced founders
