Social Comms

This is a contract/part-time role: 10-20 hrs/week with a rate of $40-50/hr. NOPE is an AI safety company focused on the proliferation of relationships between humans and AI and their impact on wellbeing and societal fabrics. They measure real conversations and relationships involving AI, track incidents, analyze regulations, and run evaluations on both raw LLMs and deployed AI. Their mission is to hold AI labs and products accountable for harms produced and to foster safe and aligned AI through proper governance and scrutiny. The Social Comms role involves increasing NOPE's social media presence and becoming an active participant in the global conversation around AI safety and alignment. Responsibilities include taking research and artifacts produced by NOPE and creating a consistent, human presence on social channels by deciding what gets posted, writing content, and engaging with researchers, journalists, builders, and policymakers. The role requires maintaining an authoritative voice without growth-hacking or engagement bait. Work is asynchronous, any timezone, with direct access to the team and unpublished materials. The person will have significant authorship over NOPE's blog, LinkedIn, other social accounts, public spaces, and private community spaces relevant to their work.
