We're looking for a Sr. Data Analyst, Compliance to join our team remotely! The primary goal of this role is to elevate decision-making by uncovering emerging trends and root causes, and by driving insights and actions that provide full visibility into business performance and operational efficiency.
Beyond technical expertise, success in this role depends on being a true business partner who combines data-driven insights with strategic thinking to deliver actionable recommendations, guide decision-making, and drive measurable impact across the organization.
In this role, you'll own end-to-end data management, from building and maintaining datasets and pipelines to designing dashboards and delivering insights for the Compliance team. A core part of this role is owning the logic and rule-setting behind transaction monitoring across deposits and withdrawals. You'll also contribute to experimentation infrastructure, laying the groundwork for future ML and intelligence initiatives.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Own the logic and rule-setting behind transaction monitoring across deposits and withdrawals, partnering closely with Compliance to study patterns and refine detection logic
- Translate compliance requirements into production detection logic, preserving correctness across alert eligibility, thresholds, customer segmentation, date windows, and deduplication
- Develop and maintain Python and SQL pipelines for transaction data preparation, feature engineering, and detection workflows
- Evaluate detection rules and analytical models across coverage, alert quality, threshold sensitivity, and the impact of proposed changes
- Design reproducible evaluations on historical data that account for limited labels, class imbalance, and shifts in customer behaviour over time
- Own testing, deployment, scheduling, monitoring, and operational support for detection workflows, including investigating data quality issues, pipeline failures, and unexpected changes in detection results
- Execute historical backfills with clear validation and traceability, and maintain reliable downstream alert delivery and integrations with compliance systems
- Be at the forefront of data innovation by experimenting, testing hypotheses, and translating insights into action, while incorporating software engineering best practices into pipelines and dashboards.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 7+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, and data management within the fintech, crypto, financial services, or gambling industry, gained in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience working with compliance, fraud, funding, finance, and customer support teams and analyzing large datasets, engineering features, and applying statistical methods to practical business problems
- Strong Python and SQL skills, with experience building and supporting production data or analytical systems
- Hands-on experience using dbt or similar tooling to model and organize high-fidelity data for reporting and decision-making
- Experience setting up and managing data pipelines with a strong understanding of workflow orchestration, plus strong software engineering practices including version control, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD
- Solid statistical foundation; ML exposure is a strong plus
- Proficiency with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Hex, Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to build executive-facing dashboards
- Ability to investigate production issues independently and communicate technical findings and uncertainty to non-technical stakeholders
- You believe wholeheartedly in the values outlined in Kraken's Tentaclements document
- A degree in a field emphasizing analytical rigor, such as analytics, software engineering, statistics, or economics
- Based in Canada, the US, or Brazil, and fluent in English
NICE TO HAVES
- Fraud detection, AML, anomaly detection, or other risk applications
- Experience with Athena, Trino, Kafka, and Kubernetes alongside the core Airflow/dbt/S3 stack
- Transaction pattern analysis, customer segmentation, and detection threshold tuning
- Developing or productionising machine learning models, including experiment tracking and performance monitoring
- Working with sparse or delayed feedback from investigations to evaluate and improve detection
- Explainability, auditability, and change control in regulated environments

You will drive Finance’s digital and AI transformation, connecting finance, business, product, data, and engineering teams, and turning operational and financial management needs into workable processes, data products, and system solutions. Your goal is to raise financial operating efficiency and data quality, give management reliable BI and actionable insight, and help build the financial systems and internal controls the company needs as it scales.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to build, not just coordinate. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, complexity, and senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Lead Finance transformation programs end to end.
Build the roadmap for finance digitalization and AI transformation, prioritize projects, and define scope, milestones, owners, and acceptance criteria. Run cross-functional delivery from requirements through launch, training, and continuous improvement.
Own financial BI and decision support.
Build a unified financial and operational metrics framework with consistent definitions and dashboards covering revenue, cost, profit, budget execution, cash flow, and operational efficiency.
Turn data into action.
Explain business changes and anomalies to management, identify opportunities in cost, efficiency, and resource allocation, and work with business teams to execute and track the results.
Design finance solutions and automate processes.
Map finance processes, business rules, and system requirements into clear process designs, data models, and functional specs. Drive automation across bookkeeping, reconciliation, settlement, reporting, budgeting, and management analysis, and coordinate integration across ERP, finance platforms, data platforms, and business systems.
Improve data quality and control.
Strengthen reconciliation, exception handling, and data lineage so that definitions are consistent and key numbers are traceable.
Land AI and Agent applications in Finance.
Identify high-value AI use cases across finance, business analysis, internal control, and audit support. Take them from prototype to production with product, data, and engineering teams, including intelligent analysis, anomaly detection, document processing, and knowledge retrieval. Define success metrics, human review, permissions, and audit trails.
Build compliance and internal control foundations.
Work with Finance, Legal, Compliance, IT, and Audit on gap assessments and remediation plans. Drive SOX-related controls, ITAC, and ITGC, and embed key controls into finance processes, systems, and data flows (access, segregation of duties, change management, data integrity, audit trail).
Keep leadership informed.
Give clear executive updates on progress, risks, and trade-offs, and act as a force multiplier by driving alignment and execution clarity across teams.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in finance products, finance digitalization, financial BI, or solutions roles, with a track record of turning finance requirements into system or data solutions and getting them adopted.
Solid understanding of finance operations: general ledger, AP/AR, revenue recognition, reconciliation, settlement, budgeting, and audit, with the ability to identify business rules and key control points.
Strong data analysis capability.
Independently use SQL to query, validate, and analyze data, and know at least one mainstream BI tool. Able to define metrics, analyze performance, and turn findings into recommendations that management understands and teams can execute.
Experience designing solutions and building, integrating, or optimizing ERP, finance platforms, BI platforms, or automation systems, with the ability to work effectively with product and engineering.
Strong cross-functional project management: able to align multiple stakeholders, manage priorities and dependencies, and push through complex problems.
Understanding of internal control and auditability requirements for financial systems, and the ability to judge where AI fits in finance scenarios and help validate and roll it out.
Independent thinking and high ownership.
You challenge assumptions constructively, form your own point of view, and operate with a strong bias toward action.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including with senior executives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with IPO preparation, SOX, ITAC, ITGC, or internal control build-out at a listed company.
Experience building management-oriented business analysis and financial BI systems, and explaining how analysis drives decisions.
Hands-on experience implementing LLMs, AI agents, enterprise knowledge bases, or finance intelligence applications.
Background in banking, payments, fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, or other high-volume businesses. Familiarity with trading, fund and asset flows, reconciliation, and finance operations in the digital asset industry is a plus.
Bilingual (English + Mandarin) to collaborate across global teams.

The
Data Center Capacity & Inventory Engineer
owns a single, accurate, and always-current view of the organization's entire data center estate worldwide. The role exists because the biggest infrastructure decisions — where to place workloads, when to expand or consolidate, and how to plan a move — are only as reliable as the underlying data on power, cooling, racks, and space.
That information is typically fragmented across sites, spreadsheets, and providers. This role consolidates it into one authoritative source of truth, keeps it current, and turns it into capacity forecasts, utilization reporting, and move/migration analysis the business depends on. It is accountable for the inventory and operational data of every facility the organization uses — owned, colocation, and edge.
Scope & Context
Global portfolio:
every data center facility across all regions — company-owned and on-premises sites, colocation and wholesale space, and edge or remote equipment rooms.
Physical assets:
racks and cabinets; power (utility feeds, UPS, generators, PDUs, circuits); cooling (CRAC/CRAH, containment, chilled water); floor, cage, and suite space; structured cabling; and environmental monitoring.
Data domains:
inventory, capacity and utilization, contracts and commitments (colo agreements, power and space reservations), and a history of physical changes.
Organizational placement:
reports into infrastructure/IT leadership and partners with networking, cloud, security, procurement, and finance.
Key stakeholders:
site and facilities teams, colocation providers, infrastructure engineering, capacity planning, finance (cost allocation), and the business units requesting space or moves.
Key Responsibilities
Define and enforce how every site records and reports its power, cooling, rack, and space configuration, so data is comparable across the portfolio.
Participate in the the space, power, and cooling analysis behind data center moves, migrations, and consolidations: what fits where, target-site readiness, and the sequencing of each move.
Supply the accurate capacity and utilization data that drives resourcing and planning decisions
Manage capacity risk proactively: identify sites approaching power, cooling, or space limits before they constrain the business.
Uphold resilience, safety, and compliance standards across facilities, including redundancy targets (for example N+1) and disaster-recovery posture.
Inventory, Data & Capacity Management (Core Mandate)
This is the primary purpose of the role: a single, trusted, global source of truth for every data center, kept accurate and current.
Maintain the global inventory and data for all facilities
A complete register of every data center and equipment room, with location, provider, and contracted commitments.
Space:
floor area, cage and suite allocation, rack and cabinet counts, rack-unit (RU) inventory and occupancy, and remaining white space.
Power:
utility feeds and redundancy, UPS and generator capacity, PDU and circuit inventory, provisioned vs. actual draw (kW) per rack, row, and room, and PUE where measured.
Cooling:
cooling capacity and type, containment, redundancy (N, N+1), temperature and humidity envelopes, and thermal headroom.
Racks & assets:
rack elevations, cabinet layouts, and the physical assets each contains, mapped to their power and connectivity.
Turn that data into decisions
Track utilization and remaining headroom for space, power, and cooling at rack, row, room, and site level.
Forecast capacity, flag sites approaching their limits, and recommend expansion, consolidation, or reallocation.
Provide the analysis behind every move and migration — what a target site can support and how a move should be staged.
Produce regular reporting and dashboards for leadership, finance, and planning.
Own the tooling and data quality
Define data standards, naming conventions, and an audit cadence that keep the inventory accurate.
Run periodic physical audits and reconciliations against the recorded data.
Requirements
Proven experience managing data center infrastructure at multi-site or global scale, ideally across a mix of owned and colocation facilities.
Deep, practical understanding of data center power, cooling, and physical space — circuits, PDUs, UPS and generators, redundancy concepts (N, N+1, 2N), cooling systems, and containment.
A demonstrated track record of keeping accurate inventory and capacity data current across many sites.
Experience planning and executing data center moves, migrations, consolidations, or build-outs.
Colocation and vendor management experience — contracts, SLAs, capacity commitments, and cost control.
Strong data and reporting skills: able to turn raw facility data into clear capacity forecasts and dashboards, with advanced spreadsheet skills and comfort using BI or reporting tools.
Experience coordinating work across multiple regions, time zones, and stakeholder groups.
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
Data center certifications such as Uptime Institute (ATD/ATS), BICSI DCDC, or EPI CDCP/CDCS/CDCE.
Familiarity with specific DCIM platforms (for example Nlyte, Sunbird, Device42, or Hyperview).
Knowledge of relevant standards — Uptime Institute Tier topology, ANSI/TIA-942, and ASHRAE thermal guidelines.
Exposure to hybrid environments (on-premises, colocation, edge, and public cloud) and how physical capacity relates to workload placement.
Awareness of data center sustainability and energy-efficiency practice, including PUE and power reporting.
Benefits
Full Remote
Comfortable working on EST time zone

Imunify360 Security Suite
is an innovative security solution designed specifically for shared and VPS/Dedicated servers. The automated, easy-to-use solution with the six-layer approach to security delivers comprehensive and complete attack prevention.
We are looking for a Lead Security Engineer - Vulnerability Response to join our Web Protection Team.
The challenge ahead
When a critical vulnerability in a popular web application or WordPress plugin goes public, attackers start exploiting it within hours. Most site owners can't patch that fast. We want our customers protected before the first attack reaches them, and we want them to know it.
That's the challenge we're hiring for:
AI-driven vulnerability response.
Build and run a pipeline that detects new high and critical vulnerabilities, generates WAF rules with AI assistance, validates them, and ships them to production in a short window.
Protection plus public announcement, both automated.
The same pipeline that ships the rule also produces the public advisory. Every critical vulnerability we cover is announced soon after the rule ships, so customers and the market see that Imunify closed it first.
Build on what works.
An AI-assisted pipeline already runs for our WordPress protection plugin. The first big project is to extend this approach to ModSecurity/Coraza WAF rules.
Speed without breaking sites.
On shared hosting, a rule that blocks legitimate traffic is a customer incident. Fast and precise both matter.
Make it measurable.
Time-to-protection, coverage of critical vulnerabilities, and false-positive rate are the numbers this role owns.
About the role
You will own the vulnerability response pipeline end to end and be its main builder. You combine deep web application security expertise with strong automation skills, and you think about the product: what customers need, what to measure, what to build next. You'll lead a small team of security analysts and work closely with automation, QA, and marketing.
What you'll do
Design and build the AI-driven pipeline from disclosure to announcement: vulnerability intake, triage, rule drafting, testing, release, and the public advisory.
Lead the extension of our existing WordPress-plugin pipeline to ModSecurity/Coraza rules.
Write and review WAF rules (ModSecurity/SecLang) for real-world web vulnerabilities.
Build test harnesses that check rules against exploits and real traffic before release.
Lead and mentor security analysts: set priorities, review their work, remove blockers.
Define and track time-to-protection, coverage, and false-positive rate, and improve them.
Automate advisory generation as part of the pipeline, and agree the format and review flow with marketing.
Requirements
What we're looking for:
5+ years in web/application security: vulnerability research, detection engineering, WAF engineering, or similar.
Deep understanding of web attack classes (SQLi, XSS, RCE, auth bypass, path traversal, file upload, deserialization) and how to detect them in HTTP traffic.
Hands-on experience writing WAF rules (ModSecurity/SecLang, OWASP CRS, or similar) and regular expressions.
Able to read PHP code and understand a vulnerability from an advisory or a patch diff.
Strong Python: you've built automation pipelines that run in production. CI/CD and automated testing.
Hands-on daily use of AI/LLM tools; you know where to trust them and how to verify their output.
Proven track record of leading a technical project end to end.
Product mindset: you reason about customer impact, not only technical correctness.
Upper-intermediate English or better.
Nice to have:
WordPress ecosystem security: plugin vulnerabilities, vulnerability feeds (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan), CVE credits or bug bounty.
Coraza or other WAF engines.
Exploit analysis or threat intelligence background.
Linux server administration, hosting industry.
Personal skills:
Strong ownership: you take a goal, not a task list.
See the whole process and find the bottleneck, not only fix individual issues.
Communicate clearly and raise risks early.
Calm under pressure: critical vulnerabilities don't wait for working hours.
Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information.
Benefits
What's in it for you?
A focus on professional development.
Interesting and challenging projects.
Fully remote work with flexible working hours, that allows you to schedule your day and work from any location worldwide.
Paid 24 days of vacation per year, 10 days of national holidays, and unlimited sick leaves.
Compensation for private medical insurance.
Co-working and gym/sports reimbursement.
Budget for education.
The opportunity to receive a reward for the most innovative idea that the company can patent.
By applying for this position, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy (

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
How we build software is changing. Designers are prototyping in code, engineers are shipping polished interfaces, and agents are starting to build directly into the product. More people and more things can create software than ever before. That makes design judgment more important, not less.
We're looking for a Staff/Principal Founding Design Systems Lead to build that judgment into Render's foundations.
This isn't about maintaining a component library. It's about enabling designers, engineers, and agents to build experiences that look, feel, and work like Render, without a designer making every decision or the design systems team reviewing every change. At a company whose whole promise is a platform that just works, the design system is how we keep craft scaling as the product and the team grows.
This role starts hands-on. You're a designer first, with the technical depth to get into the code. You'll partner with the Head of Design to set the vision, then do the foundational work yourself: decide where or whether our Figma library lives and how it operates, get deep into what an AI-ready design system really means, and prototype, test, and ship the system in code. As the function grows, you'll build and lead the team around it. You're energized by building from the ground up, not inheriting something finished.
Here's what makes this role urgent and specific to us: our users are developers, and they're increasingly building with AI agents. That cuts both ways. Inside Render, teams reach for an agent before they check the docs — so a system that isn't legible to AI quietly gets bypassed, and quality drifts toward generic output. And externally, we're building the platform where developers deploy AI-native apps and agents. The person in this role treats the design system as infrastructure for humans, machines, and velocity and has a point of view on what that takes: machine-readable documentation, system rules exposed where agents can read them, an architecture that keeps the brand and accessibility layers ours, and evaluations that catch drift before it ships.
This role reports to the Head of Design.
THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU'RE EXCITED BY:
Making great design reproducible, by people and agents. Raise the quality of Render's product and encode what makes it good, so a designer, an engineer, or an agent can produce coherent, usable experiences by default. The system should make excellent work easier, not make every experience look the same.
Reimagining what a design system can be. Build beyond components and tokens into composition rules, interaction patterns, agent-readable guidance, and evaluations, so the fastest way to build is also a path to great quality.
Building and leading a team that multiplies everyone else's impact. Start hands-on, then create the direction, ambitious goals, and caring-but-demanding environment that let a team do the best work of their careers.
The opportunity is to raise the floor for everyone building at Render, human or agent, while giving designers more room to make the most important experiences extraordinary.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Set the system's vision and direction. Decide what to preserve, evolve, simplify, or replace based on what builders and customers need — and turn that into focused work, much of which you'll do yourself at first.
- Build the foundations hands-on. Early on, you are the team: setting the architecture, shipping the components, writing the guidance, and establishing the quality bar through your own work before there's anyone to delegate to.
- Build and lead the team that owns the system. As the function grows, hire and develop it — set priorities and ownership, give direct feedback, hold a high bar, and help people do the best work of their careers.
- Elevate Render's visual and interaction design. Raise the bar for typography, hierarchy, density, motion, responsive behavior, accessibility — and the states beyond the happy path, which is where developer tools earn their reputation.
- Make the system legible to AI, not just humans. Lead the work to make Render's design system AI-ready: machine-readable documentation, system rules and tokens exposed where agents can reach them (e.g. via MCP), and an architecture that shrinks the context an agent needs while keeping the brand and accessibility layers ours. The goal: agents building on Render produce on-brand, compliant work by default.
- Guide technical architecture with engineering. Shape everything from components and tokens to how agents discover guidance and check their work. Make sound tradeoffs between flexibility, coherence, performance, and ease of use — layered and headless where that scales better than rigid bundles.
- Define and measure quality, including AI output. Build repeatable evaluations grounded in real tasks — testing generated output against the system's standard, not just whether people use the tools.
- Earn adoption. Work alongside product teams, teach through examples, and turn recurring questions and exceptions into improvements. A system lives or dies on whether people, and their agents, reach for it.
- Keep moving as the ground shifts. Experiment as models and tools evolve, share what you learn, and change direction when the evidence calls for it.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A track record of setting direction and delivering outcomes in design systems or design engineering — and the appetite to build a function from the ground up before leading a team. You create clarity in ambiguity, make decisions, give difficult feedback, and keep momentum without dropping the quality bar. Experience leading or developing designers/design engineers is a strong plus, as this role grows in that area.
- Exceptional visual and interaction design skills. Your work shows a clear point of view, detail that borders on obsessive, and an ability to make complex experiences feel simple — the kind of craft other practitioners admire.
- Deep systems thinking, and experience building systems other teams actually adopt. You can show how your work improved both their speed and the quality of what shipped — not just that it existed.
- Strong technical fluency. You can prototype and build in code, understand front-end architecture (component API design, tokens, theming, layered/headless patterns), and work through implementation tradeoffs with engineers — not just hand off specs.
- Hands-on use of AI in your work, and a real point of view on AI-ready design systems. You understand where AI helps and where it fails, how to improve its output rather than accept it, and what it takes for a system to serve machines as well as humans. You don't need to have shipped all of it, but you should be able to say where you'd start and why.
- Strong product judgment and developer empathy. You stay close to the people who use what you build and connect system decisions to real workflows and outcomes. Fluency with developers and technical products is a strong plus — our users are engineers, and the system has to serve them and the agents they build with.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience building developer tools, cloud platforms, or infrastructure products where UX is a competitive advantage.
- Hands-on experience making a design system AI-ready: machine-readable documentation, MCP or similar agent access, layered/headless architecture, or evaluation frameworks for AI-generated output.
- Experience building developer or designer tools that became part of other teams' daily workflow.
- Experience leading a major design-system migration or a company-wide change in how teams build.
- Experience evolving a system across platforms, or connecting product and brand experiences.
- Founder or early-stage startup experience.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS

BUILD SOMETHING PEOPLE LOVE
Wealthsimple is Canada’s leading financial innovator. The company offers a full suite of simple, sophisticated financial products across managed investing, do-it-yourself trading, cryptocurrency, tax filing, spending and saving. Wealthsimple currently serves more than 4 million Canadians and holds over $155 billion in assets under administration. The company was founded in 2014 by a team of financial experts and technology entrepreneurs, and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
We're proud of what we've built — and we're just getting started. Read our Culture Manual https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/culture and learn more about how we work https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/careers.
About the team
Over 30,000 Canadian businesses already trust Wealthsimple Business to spend, invest, and help their employees save, all in one place. But most Canadian SMBs still don't know we offer business banking at all. Our team owns the growth engine that closes that gap: getting Wealthsimple Business in front of the millions of small businesses in Canada who haven't heard of it yet, and building the pipeline that lets us compete directly for a market that isn't ours yet. We work closely with the broader Marketing org but stay focused on this segment specifically. This isn't general brand awareness — it's demand for a product category most SMBs haven't considered us for.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll own net-new customer acquisition for the SMB segment: running the paid and experimental channels that create demand where none currently exists. This is a build-from-scratch role in a real sense. The acquisition engine for this segment doesn't exist yet, so you'll be defining it, testing what moves the needle, and scaling what works, rather than optimizing something already in motion.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own SMB-specific acquisition: explore and test across channel types, paid media, partnerships, content, community, and anything else that could move the needle. No one's handing you a channel mix. Figuring that out is the job
- Run the team's growth experimentation cadence: CAC/LTV analysis and funnel experiments that turn into repeatable, scalable campaigns, not one-off tests, measured through to pipeline handed to Sales
- Test positioning and messaging that gets this segment to notice us for the first time
- Own growth-motivated webinars and other programs aimed at reaching new audiences, not nurturing ones we already have
- Partner with the Demand Gen Specialist so acquisition experiments feed nurture, and nurture insights inform where acquisition effort goes next
- Embed AI into your day-to-day, creative and copy iteration, audience research, campaign experimentation, to move faster and test more
WHAT YOU BRING
- 4–6+ years in growth or performance marketing, with a track record of generating demand and measuring it through to downstream pipeline value
- Experience building and running growth experiments: channel tests, funnel optimization, CAC/LTV analysis. You don't just execute a media plan someone else designed
- Comfort operating in a segment or product with limited brand awareness. You understand how messaging, channel mix, and creative have to work differently when you're introducing a category to someone who doesn't know it exists yet, not comparing features for someone who already does
- Experience running net-new-audience programs (webinars, partnerships, co-marketing) aimed at reaching new audiences, not nurturing existing ones
- An analytical mindset: you use data to diagnose funnel problems, prioritize opportunities, and recommend what to do next, not just report on results
- Clear written communication: able to translate test results and positioning ideas into something a cross-functional team can act on
- A demonstrated habit of using AI to accelerate your work: building lead enrichment workflows, generating and testing creative at scale, or surfacing insights from data faster. You treat AI as a core part of how you work
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience running go-to-market for a product or benefit launch across paid, lifecycle, and product surfaces.
- Experience in consumer fintech, investing, brokerage, trading, or crypto platforms.
- Experience marketing specifically to small and medium-sized businesses, understanding how SMB buyers discover, evaluate, and choose financial products
WHO YOU ARE
- You're motivated by ambiguity and building from scratch, not maintaining an existing channel
- You think like an owner. You don't wait to be told which experiment to run next
- You're comfortable being judged on outcomes you can't fully control yet, because the category itself is new
- You partner well. You know acquisition and nurture only work if the handoff between them is good
- You're competitive in a healthy way. "Let's go win this" is a mindset, not just a talking point
- You're as comfortable in the numbers as you are in the creative. This role needs both

BUILD SOMETHING PEOPLE LOVE
Wealthsimple is Canada’s leading financial innovator.
About the team:
At Wealthsimple, we aren't just managing portfolios; we're rewriting the rules of how Canadians interact with credit. The Credit Analytics team own’s Wealthsimple's lending ecosystem, operating at the intersection of high-growth tech and data-driven underwriting.
We believe that being “credit-worthy” should mean more than just a traditional score. Our mission is to challenge the status quo, building inclusive products that empower millions of Canadians and the businesses they run to lead better financial lives. We’re growing fast, moving from small data to massive scale through iteration and experimentation.
We are extending our consumer credit expertise into business lending built for Canadian small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). This is a true green-field build — new adjudication policy, new underwriting signals, and new risk infrastructure, informed by everything we've learned scaling our consumer card portfolio.
About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Associate to own credit policy for our business lending products, starting with a business credit card — from adjudication through the full account lifecycle. You will design and implement the underwriting framework that determines who qualifies and at what limit, build the line management strategies that govern how those limits evolve, and partner closely with collections to manage risk once accounts are on book.
Small business cards can be underwritten on the owner, or on the business as it grows. You’ll be working with cash flow, seasonality, industry, and business bureau data, which is usually thinner and messier than consumer bureau data. We need someone who has worked across that range and can turn it into automated policy instead of file-by-file decisions.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Data Science, Fraud, and Client Experience to translate policy into shippable adjudication and monitoring systems, and you will have significant ownership over how this portfolio’s risk appetite is defined from day one.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Build a new lending program from the ground up with the breadth to see every part of it, from policy to funding, and the runway to grow into leading a lending line of business.
- Design and own the adjudication policy for a new business credit card, including entity-level underwriting criteria, principal/guarantor assessment, joint-liability, initial limit-setting, and approval decisioning.
- Own line management strategy for business credit products: credit limit increases and decreases, pricing, authorization rules, and active exposure management driven by cash-flow and balance monitoring.
- Partner with the collections team to design risk-managed treatment strategies specific to business accounts, and to build lifecycle monitoring that catches emerging risk early.
- Evaluate the performance of the business lending portfolio and your policies, using vintage analysis, cohort tracking, and champion/challenger testing to validate and refine underwriting decisions.
- Propose policy enhancements that improve marginal profitability while keeping risk within appetite, informed by rigorous root-cause analysis rather than surface-level metrics.
- Help define the data and underwriting infrastructure needed for SMB lending — including how to source, validate, and weigh business financial data alongside traditional bureau signals.
- Influence roadmaps across partner teams (Engineering, Product, Data Science, Fraud, and Client Experience) and implement policy that drives measurable impact.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has direct experience underwriting or setting credit policy for small and medium-sized businesses, this is a must-have for this role. Card experience isn't required; we'd love to hear from you if your background is in instalment loans or lines of credit.
- Writes SQL hands-on to self-serve data and build monitoring and analytics.
- Brings credit discipline to a ship-and-iterate environment, and is comfortable shaping policy while the product itself is still being defined.
- Can turn analysis into a clear recommendation for technical and non-technical audiences, weigh incomplete or noisy information and still reach well-grounded decisions.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
