Location: London, United Kingdom - Deliveroo
Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
About the team
The People Technology Product team builds the internal tools and frameworks that power every employee’s journey across Deliveroo, DoorDash and Wolt. We combine a hybrid “build + buy” approach to deliver intelligent, scalable and people-centric experiences across hiring, pre-boarding, onboarding, learning, performance and more — connecting our mission to transform the way the world eats and shops with the experience of the people who make it happen. We partner closely with Design, Engineering, Analytics, People/HR and IT to build products that elevate the entire People Tech stack across all three brands.
About the role
We’re hiring a Staff Product Manager to own the product experience for pre-boarding and onboarding — one of the highest-leverage moments in the employee lifecycle — across Deliveroo, DoorDash and Wolt. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on the cross-functional experience that begins the moment a candidate signs and continues until a new hire is fully ramped, spanning both the People and IT functions. You’ll be the end-to-end product owner for the systems, workflows and experiences that get equipment, access, accounts, paperwork and early enablement right from day one. Based in London and working with global teams, you’ll drive measurable improvements to the new-hire experience and help our new hires ramp up faster, at scale across regions, legal contexts, and brands.
What you'll be doing
Own the end-to-end product roadmap and execution for pre-boarding and onboarding across Deliveroo, DoorDash and Wolt, from offer acceptance through to a fully ramped new hire.
Design and evolve cross-functional experiences that connect People and IT workflows — provisioning, access and account setup, equipment, documentation and early enablement — into a single, coherent journey for new joiners and their managers.
Define and track the metrics that matter — time-to-productivity, new-hire satisfaction, day-one readiness and operational efficiency — and use them to prioritise work and demonstrate impact.
Build durable, modular product capabilities — task orchestration, status visibility, and manager and new-hire dashboards — that scale across geographies, orgs and brands and reduce reliance on manual, one-off processes.
Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, People/HR and IT to translate complex, cross-functional process needs into intuitive product capabilities.
Navigate the realities of a multi-brand, multi-region environment — varied legal and compliance requirements, regional differences and change management — without disrupting critical hiring moments.
Set the product vision and influence senior stakeholders across the People and IT functions, building alignment on a shared onboarding strategy across all three brands.
Model strong product judgement: define clear problem statements, scope MVPs intentionally and invest in foundations that compound over time.
Requirements
A track record of building and shipping products end-to-end — from problem definition and strategy through delivery and iteration — ideally in People/HR, IT or other complex, cross-functional environments.
Experience designing products and workflows that span multiple functions, systems and stakeholders, turning complexity into simple, usable experiences.
Comfort working with both custom-built tools and third-party SaaS platforms, including integrating data across systems.
Strong analytical skills and the habit of using data and metrics to define success, prioritise and measure impact.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain product decisions clearly and influence senior leaders across functions and brands.
Experience operating across regions, legal contexts or multiple brands, building products that work in a global environment.
A bias for delivering high-quality products in a fast-moving organisation, balancing speed, risk and technical constraints.

We’ll share details on how to request support so we can ensure you have a fair and equitable experience.

We are looking for a Cost & Revenue Controller to take hands-on ownership of this process—ensuring data is collected completely, booked correctly, reconciled, and any discrepancies are identified and resolved. Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and coordinate their resolution.
Develop automated reconciliation and validation controls.
Define and monitor data-quality and error KPIs.
Business & Technology Integration
Translate financial and business requirements into clear requirements for technical teams.
Follow implementations through development, testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
Validate that implemented solutions reflect the intended financial and accounting logic.
Act as a bridge between Finance, BI, Operations, and Technology.

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
Kraken's Market Surveillance function is responsible for detecting, investigating and reporting market abuse across our regulated trading venues, spanning spot crypto markets, crypto futures, tokenised equities, OTC markets, and consumer trading. As our licensing footprint and product range grow, so does the scale and complexity of the surveillance programme behind them.
We're hiring a Principal Compliance Associate to take on the function's most complex casework, and help shape how we detect and cover market abuse as the business scales.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Own complex investigations end to end, writing findings up to a standard a regulator can rely on, and present conclusions to a range of stakeholders.
- Lead or contribute to periodic threshold and model reviews, recalibrating surveillance rules and alert thresholds as trading behaviour, products and market structure evolve.
- Support the design, build-out and integration of surveillance platform capability, including onboarding new products, venues and data sources onto the surveillance system.
- Contribute to market abuse risk assessments, helping identify and score risk across products, jurisdictions and entities, and translate findings into surveillance coverage.
- Use AI and automation tools responsibly to speed up evidence-gathering, case reconstruction and detection-model development, always with human judgement over the final call.
- Support conflicts of interest, information barrier, and personal account dealing matters across Markets Compliance, extending beyond surveillance casework where buy-side or asset management experience is directly relevant.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience investigating market abuse or trading conduct inside a firm subject to market conduct regulation, such as an exchange, broker-dealer, trading venue, or comparable regulated trading business.
- A track record running investigations end to end, including writing findings up to a standard a regulator can rely on and presenting conclusions to stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of core market abuse typologies e.g. spoofing, wash trading, insider trading, front running, ramping.
- Experience with, or strong working knowledge of, threshold and model calibration, surveillance platform integration, market abuse risk assessments, and audit remediation.
- Comfort using generative AI and other automation tools to improve the speed and quality of investigative work, while maintaining the human oversight regulated casework requires.
- Familiarity with a surveillance platform (such as Scila, Nasdaq SMARTS, Eventus, or NICE Actimize) and comfort with SQL or a similar query tool for evidence-gathering.
- Clear, evidence-first written communication - your case files, escalations and regulatory drafts will sometimes be read by auditors and regulators without you in the room to explain them.
- Exposure to crypto-asset markets is welcomed but not required. What matters most is regulated-market investigation experience; strong candidates from traditional securities or derivatives markets are encouraged to apply.
NICE TO HAVES
- E-comms surveillance experience.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.
As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee experience & local HR operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for local employees on benefits, policies and employee lifecycle events, providing timely and accurate responses in line with global standards.
- Handle individual cases for relocation and onboarding, including preparation of local employment contracts and country-specific documentation.
- Manage local third-party HR providers (payroll vendor, benefit brokers) and the local practicalities of off-boarding, meeting all legal requirements and exit procedures.
- Act as the first point of contact for standard employee relations cases, handling practicalities locally and consulting Global HR Operations on complex issues.
Payroll, data & compliance
- Audit payroll data in the HRIS and ensure accurate local processing in collaboration with the in-house team and the local payroll vendor.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and related systems: data integrity, confidentiality and compliance with local and global data privacy regulations.
- Stay on top of Portuguese employment law — including the specifics of an industrial site (shifts, safety-adjacent policies, collective frameworks where applicable) — and keep all HR activity compliant, with clear documentation of local processes and policies.
- Coordinate the personnel security clearance process with the local security officer for roles that require it.
Global alignment & people programmes
- Act as the go-to person for the CEO on HR matters, escalating complex issues to the Global HR team when necessary.
- Tailor and execute global frameworks locally — levels, salary bands, performance management, wellbeing, L&D — so they work for both the Center of Excellence and the factory population.
- Identify opportunities to automate local HR tasks with Global HR Operations, adapting global ways of working to local legal standards while preserving ICEYE's culture.
- Assist managers and leads as the organisation adds its first layers of management.
Talent Attraction
- Act as the bridge between the global Talent Attraction team and local hiring needs in Portugal: oversee local TA processes, keep hiring moving at the right speed and step in with hands-on support when needed.
- Support local employer brand building and the channels that feed it, including university partnerships and the local tech and industrial talent networks.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must haves:
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience covering both talent acquisition and HR generalist/business partner work.
- Strong working knowledge of Portuguese labour law, local benefits and market HR practice, with a track record of creating compliant HR policy documentation.
- A hands-on approach with high attention to detail in contract management, local onboarding and the management of local third-party providers.
- Track record hiring technical/engineering profiles and industrial or manufacturing profiles; you personally source and close candidates.
- Strong analytical skills and high emotional intelligence to handle sensitive individual employee relations cases, with the wisdom to escalate complex issues.
- Comfort with HRIS (e.g., HiBob) and ticketing systems, using data to audit payroll and maintain source-of-truth records.
- Exceptional communication in Portuguese and English, able to bridge global ICEYE standards with local needs and influence both local leadership and the global team.
- A proactive, service-oriented mindset that stays effective in a fast-scaling environment, adapting global policies to local contexts without losing speed.
Nice to haves:
- Experience taking a site from roughly 20 to 100+ people.
- HR experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defence or another clearance-relevant industry.
- Experience introducing or running HRIS and ATS tooling in a growing company.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior/Staff Data Scientist to join our growing Data team and serve as a strategic analytics partner across Render. As we scale, we're tackling increasingly complex questions across our product, customers, and business, from how developers discover and adopt Render, to what drives engagement and retention, to how we prioritize investments and identify new opportunities for growth.
You'll partner with leaders and teams across Product, Growth, Go-to-Market, Finance, and other functions, focusing on some combination of data analytics, analytics engineering, machine learning, and experimentation based on your strengths, interests, and Render's highest-priority needs. You'll turn ambiguous questions into rigorous analysis, define how we measure success, and translate complex data into decisions and action.
As a Senior/Staff-level individual contributor, you'll also help set the standard for analytics at Render, shaping our measurement frameworks, analytical practices, and how teams across the company use data to make better decisions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Serve as a strategic analytics partner. Work closely with leaders and cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Growth, Go-to-Market, Finance, and other teams to identify high-impact questions, frame decisions, and determine how success should be measured.
- Define meaningful metrics and measurement frameworks. Develop the KPIs and frameworks teams use to understand performance across areas such as acquisition, activation, adoption, engagement, retention, conversion, expansion, and customer outcomes.
- Turn data into strategy. Surface patterns across our users, customers, products, and business. Identify opportunities, diagnose friction, and help teams determine where to invest and what to prioritize.
- Shape our approach to experimentation and evaluation. Design and analyze experiments where appropriate, develop guardrail metrics and other methods for evaluating initiatives, and help teams choose the right analytical approach for the decision at hand.
- Build measurement into how we work. Partner with teams to define instrumentation and measurement plans early, ensuring new products, programs, and initiatives can be evaluated reliably after launch.
- Build trusted analytical foundations. Build and maintain dbt models, semantic and context layers in partnership with Analytics Engineering, transforming behavioral and business data into reliable datasets that support decision-making across Render.
- Raise the bar for analytics. Establish analytical best practices, improve how teams use data in decision-making, and mentor scientists and cross-functional partners on measurement, experimentation, and data literacy.
- Help shape the future of analytics at Render. Explore how AI-assisted tools can make analytics faster and more accessible while maintaining a high bar for accuracy, context, and analytical judgment.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 7+ years of analytics experience, with a track record of shaping strategy and influencing decisions across complex or ambiguous problem spaces.
- Strong business and product judgment. You can take an ambiguous question, identify what really needs to be understood, and determine the right analytical approach to inform a decision.
- Experience defining and using metrics across some combination of Product, Growth, Go-to-Market, Finance, or other business domains, for example acquisition, activation, adoption, engagement, retention, conversion, expansion, or revenue.
- Strong SQL skills. Writing complex, efficient SQL and independently exploring large datasets is a core part of how you work.
- Experience using experimentation, statistical analysis, or other rigorous evaluation methods to understand impact, along with judgment about when each approach is appropriate.
- Experience with modern analytics tooling such as Metabase, Mixpanel, dbt, BigQuery, Segment, and Git.
- A track record of influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders without direct authority. You're comfortable challenging assumptions, creating clarity from ambiguity, and driving alignment around what the data says.
- Excellent communication skills. You can turn complex analysis into a clear narrative, explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and build the relationships necessary to drive action.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding or analytics tools such as Codex, Cursor, or Claude Code to accelerate analysis, data modeling, instrumentation, or visualization.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Expertise in statistical methods beyond traditional A/B testing, such as causal inference, cohort and survival analysis, or time-series analysis.
- Experience with developer-focused, product-led, sales-led, or usage-based businesses.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, PaaS, developer tooling, or other technically complex products.
- Experience analyzing multi-product or multi-segment businesses and understanding behavior across interconnected customer journeys.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.
This position is generally not eligible for new visa sponsorship. At Render's discretion, the business may sponsor existing visa transfers. Applicants who require sponsorship must receive business authorization.
