About the role
We are looking for a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) to own the post-sales technical relationship for a portfolio of our largest enterprise customers, taking it over from the Solutions Architect (SA) at deal close. Your focus is continuity: customers renew the annual TAM engagement because their technical outcomes improve each year. This role requires travel to customer offices 4 to 8 times a year.
What you'll do
Own the post-sales technical relationship and the annual TAM renewal for a portfolio of enterprise accounts, running a weekly check-in, monthly review, quarterly business review (QBR), and annual roadmap workshop for each
Lead incident follow-through when an escalation or a pattern of incidents emerges: run the post-mortem, find the architectural root cause, own the remediation roadmap, and respond to priority 1 and 2 escalations within 4 business hours
Deliver proactive architectural reviews, technical risk mapping, cost and usage optimization, and pre-launch readiness assessments
Scope hands-on engineering work for Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) and audits for Professional Services, and track their outcomes into the customer's technical roadmap, without shipping production code yourself
Relay customer technical needs to Product, Engineering, and Support, and hold those teams to the commitments you have made to your customers
What you need
5+ years in customer-facing technical roles at a platform, infrastructure, or developer tools company, such as technical account management, solutions architecture, developer success engineering, or support engineering
Owned customer relationships at the $1M+ annual contract value (ACV) tier, including QBRs, roadmap workshops, and renewals
Architected, debugged, and optimized production systems on Next.js and Vercel, including App Router, incremental static regeneration (ISR) and caching, Fluid Compute, and the AI SDK
Led technical outcomes across Engineering, Product, and Support without formal authority, and written the incident summaries, post-mortems, and executive readouts that came out of them
Bonus if you
Carried a TAM portfolio at a hyperscaler, infrastructure platform, or developer tools company, such as AWS, Cloudflare, Datadog, or GitHub
Built AI agents with the Vercel AI SDK or Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers
Led cloud financial operations (FinOps) or cost-optimization engagements, or ran an annual roadmap workshop or Well-Architected Review for an enterprise customer
Benefits:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.

You’re a technical subject-matter expert who can build relationships with Product and Engineering stakeholders and navigate a large AI lab.
You’ll lead relationships with top AI labs and serve as Supabase’s quarterback, driving the following engagement model:
1. Account Mapping and Relationship Building - Identify the key relationships Supabase needs to build across Product, Engineering, and Developer Relations teams at AI labs.

5. Quarterly Technical Reviews: Lead quarterly reviews with each lab to discuss highlights, adoption metrics, what’s working and what isn’t, key product initiatives, and alignment with technical resources.
As the Quarterback for the AI labs end-to-end — you’ll work from technical scoping and launch through post-launch growth — working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Data to ensure Supabase drives real business outcomes with top AI labs
This is a high-visibility senior IC role with direct impact on product adoption and ecosystem expansion.
- This is a build and scale member of technical staff role.

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll be partnering with Customer Activation & Account Management teams to identify, prioritize and build financial solutions for new and existing customers so that Ramp continues to scale with their needs.
You will act as the technical and financial subject matter expert for our customers, and design solutions that address the customer’s needs through Ramp and partner integrations. You will partner with Post-Sales teams to drive Product, Design and Engineering teams’ roadmaps to evolve Ramp to better serve our customers at scale and offer increasingly higher value to the customers.
You will define the customer’s financial & technical success criteria from onboarding through activation and expansion. You will represent Product, Design and Engineering externally and will operate with deep conviction and understanding of Ramp’s technical capabilities. The role requires technical skills necessary to understand and educate on robust accounting features, and integrate them across all the touchpoints and surface area of a customer.
This role is focused on Commercial and Mid-Market customers, supporting high-growth companies with standardized financial workflows, core ERP integrations, and repeatable implementation patterns that drive fast time-to-value.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Act as a technical advisor to customers and Ramp’s internal teams while supporting high-value implementations and expansion opportunities by guiding integration, configuration, and system design
- Partner with Customer Activation and Account Management teams to assess customer requirements and propose scalable solutions; particularly involving ERP, HRIS, and API integrations
- Collaborate with onboarding specialists and implementation leads to support technical workstreams (not run them), ensuring faster time-to-value and customer success
- Work with customers to problem-solve technical hurdles and propose effective product implementations for each customer with a deep understanding of the full range of integration and configuration options
- Participate in technical discovery to understand customer systems and workflows, and recommend best-fit Ramp architecture. This includes when and how to use Ramp’s API
- Be a subject matter expert across our HRIS and Accounting integration partners, partnering with Sales, Product and partners to advocate for integration development in-line with customer needs
- Troubleshoot integration blockers and guide customers through complex configuration decisions without writing code directly
- Contribute to internal documentation and tooling that scales Ramp’s ability to support integration use cases across a growing customer base
- Influence Ramp’s product roadmap by channeling customer pain points and feedback to the Product and Engineering teams
WHAT YOU NEED
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related field
- 2+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally in a SaaS or fintech environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Fusion) and finance/accounting workflows. SAP S/4HANA or Sage Intacct expertise highly preferred.
- Comfort working with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture and being able to explain those concepts to finance and operations stakeholders
- Strong communication skills: able to translate complex technical solutions into business value, guide customers toward scalable approaches, and diplomatically steer conversations when requests are misaligned with best practices or product capabilities
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering
- Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills, with a bias toward action and a high level of ownership
- Thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments; adaptable and resourceful as we scale Ramp’s upmarket motion

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Technical Consultants are on the frontlines working to establish partnerships with Ramp customers, and act as a liaison between customers and our internal technical teams. You'll be partnering with Customer Activation & Account Management teams to identify, prioritize and build financial solutions for new and existing customers so that Ramp continues to scale with their needs.
You will act as the technical and financial subject matter expert for our customers, and design solutions that address the customer's needs through Ramp and partner integrations. You will partner with Post-Sales teams to drive Product, Design and Engineering teams' roadmaps to evolve Ramp to better serve our customers at scale and offer increasingly higher value to the customers.
You will define the customer's financial & technical success criteria from onboarding through activation and expansion. You will represent Product, Design and Engineering externally and will operate with deep conviction and understanding of Ramp's technical capabilities. The role requires technical skills necessary to understand and educate on robust accounting features, and integrate them across all the touchpoints and surface area of a customer.
This role is specifically focused on Enterprise and Strategic Enterprise customers running Workday, supporting large, complex organizations with multi-entity environments, advanced ERP integrations, and highly customized financial workflows.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Serve as the primary Technical Consultant for Enterprise and Strategic Enterprise accounts running Workday, supporting complex, high-impact customers with multi-entity, multi-ERP, and global financial environments
- Act as a technical advisor to customers and Ramp's internal teams while supporting high-value implementations and expansion opportunities by guiding Workday integration, configuration, and system design
- Partner with Customer Activation and Account Management teams to assess customer requirements and propose scalable solutions involving Workday Finance & Operations, HRIS, and API integrations
- Collaborate with onboarding specialists and implementation leads to support technical workstreams, ensuring faster time-to-value and customer success
- Work with customers to problem-solve technical hurdles and propose effective product implementations with a deep understanding of Workday integration and configuration options
- Participate in technical discovery to understand customer Workday environments and workflows, and recommend best-fit Ramp architecture including when and how to use Ramp's API
- Be a subject matter expert across Workday and Ramp's accounting integration capabilities, partnering with Sales, Product and partners to advocate for integration development aligned with customer needs
- Troubleshoot Workday integration blockers and guide customers through complex configuration decisions
- Contribute to internal documentation and tooling that scales Ramp's ability to support Workday integration use cases across a growing customer base
- Influence Ramp's product roadmap by channeling Workday customer pain points and feedback to the Product and Engineering teams
WHAT YOU NEED
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related field
- 4+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally in a SaaS or fintech environment
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Workday, including integration patterns and enterprise deployment models
- Deep familiarity with Workday finance and accounting workflows, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, financial dimensions, and legal entity structures
- Comfort working with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture and being able to explain those concepts to finance and operations stakeholders
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Design on enterprise-driven gaps, influencing roadmap decisions that unlock scale across Ramp's largest customers
- Advise on non-standard Workday implementations and edge cases, balancing customer needs with long-term platform scalability and supportability
- Strong communication skills: able to translate complex technical solutions into business value and guide customers toward scalable approaches
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering
- Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills, with a bias toward action and a high level of ownership
- Thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments; adaptable and resourceful as we scale Ramp's upmarket motion
