About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's Infrastructure team is seeking a Data Center Energy Lead, based anywhere in the EU, to secure power capacity and accelerate energy delivery for our rapidly expanding AI compute footprint across the region. This is a multi-country role: from a single EU base, you'll cover several EU jurisdictions. You'll work at the intersection of energy markets, physical power, project development and AI infrastructure needs, leading multi-hundred megawatt procurement efforts and building strategic relationships with TSOs, DSOs, and regulators across multiple European jurisdictions. This role is essential to ensuring Anthropic can scale compute capacity efficiently while navigating the complex dynamics of the EU internal electricity market, national wholesale and capacity markets, and Europe's evolving energy regulatory environment to achieve the speed and scale required for frontier AI development.
Responsibilities:
Develop creative and novel means of energy deployment - grid connected, behind-the-meter/fence, etc. that drives fastest timelines to energization, while maintaining social license
Lead energy procurement and markets strategy to secure multi-hundred megawatt power capacity for AI infrastructure across EU wholesale electricity markets and national capacity mechanisms, structuring utility partnerships and commercial agreements that prioritise speed-to-energisation and scale
Own utility and regulatory stakeholder management across multiple European jurisdictions, building strategic relationships with TSOs, DSOs, national regulators, and ACER to accelerate connection timelines and unlock constrained capacity
Drive energy markets and policy strategy for AI compute facilities, monitoring EU network codes, national grid codes and regulatory developments and engaging policymakers to address grid capacity challenges and expedite approval processes for critical infrastructure
Partner with engineering and delivery teams to translate energy market dynamics and network constraints into actionable capacity acceleration strategies that align procurement schedules with aggressive project timelines
Develop deep market intelligence on regional power availability across target European markets, transmission constraints, and connection queue dynamics to inform site selection and deployment strategy
Structure innovative commercial frameworks and partnership models — including PPAs, network use of system arrangements, and behind-the-meter solutions — that enable faster power delivery and mitigate grid capacity risks across Anthropic's European datacentre portfolio
You may be a good fit if you:
Have 15+ years of experience in energy procurement, utility development, or power markets for large-scale infrastructure projects, with substantial exposure to European energy markets across multiple jurisdictions
Have deep expertise in EU electricity markets (day-ahead, intraday and balancing markets), national capacity mechanisms, network connection processes, and transmission system planning (including ENTSO-E Ten-Year Network Development Plans and national network development plans)
Have experience securing 100+ MW of power capacity and navigating complex network connection agreements, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), or other offtake agreement structures in Europe
Are proficient in analysing energy market dynamics, regulatory frameworks (EU network codes, national grid codes and jurisdictional instruments), and grid constraints to inform strategic decision-making
Have strong stakeholder management skills and experience building relationships with TSOs, DSOs, national regulators (such as BNetzA, CRU, ACM, CRE, and others), ACER, policymakers and critical equipment vendors
Have excellent communication skills and can translate complex grid and regulatory dynamics into actionable business strategies for technical and non-technical audiences
Strong candidates may also have some of the following:
Past experience with energy procurement specifically for datacentres, high-performance computing, or AI/ML infrastructure
Familiarity with hyperscale infrastructure requirements and the unique power demands of large-scale AI training and inference workloads
Experience with regulatory affairs, energy policy advocacy, or engagement with national regulators, TSOs, ACER, ENTSO-E, and the European Commission (DG ENER) and national energy ministries
Background in transmission planning, grid connection studies (including grid code compliance and connection agreement processes), or grid capacity analysis under EU network codes and national grid codes
Understanding of emerging grid technologies (battery energy storage systems, demand response, virtual power plants, distributed energy resources) and how they can accelerate capacity delivery across European markets
Track record of structuring creative solutions to overcome grid constraints and compressed timelines in competitive power markets, including EU renewables acceleration areas / go-to areas and congested bidding zones and network regions

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

You will influence the company’s strategy and help the company grow through advanced business analytics that raise data fluency and sharpen how decisions are made. The successful leader must be ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into the data, systems, and models, while working collaboratively with the team ensuring you are able to effectively partner across the organization. This highly visible role will interact with the executive team as a thought partner to bring new insights and recommendations to the table.
Who You Are
Deep eCommerce or retail analytics experience
- fluent in the core KPIs for inventory, order economics, pricing, and fulfillment/supply chain cost and efficiency (AOV, unit economics, instock rates, meat beat scores, fulfillment CPUs), and you apply proven industry practice rather than rebuilding it from scratch
Proven at balancing people management with hands-on IC work
- you can point to analysis you've owned yourself while leading a team, not just work you've coordinated
Experienced managing experienced analysts
- you bring structure and clear prioritization to a team that already executes well, so they're always on the highest-impact work
Confident partnering with VP+ stakeholders
- you've built real relationships with senior business leaders and shape priorities with them proactively, front and center with executives
Hands-on with AI-native analytics
- you've built or are genuinely curious about self-serve analytics infrastructure (semantic layers, context layers, AI-connected reporting), not just traditional dashboards
Engaged in what we're building
- you ask why before how, challenge assumptions, and contribute to direction instead of delivering dashboards in isolation
Prioritizes progress over perfection
- you scale rigor to what's at stake and ship a strong, decision-ready answer on time rather than over-polishing
8+ years of experience, ideally with experience in a Data role in a high growth consumer technology or e-commerce company; 5+ years of experience at a manager level
You naturally reach for AI in your work - at Babylist, every team uses AI daily. You're already using it to move faster and improve your output, and you stay curious about what's coming next.
Strong sense of ownership, intellectual curiosity and an ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
High attention to detail but an equally important ability to see the big picture and evaluate analyses with strategic business context
Extensive experience in data analytics, big data technologies, and statistical modeling to drive business insights.
Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and data strategy principles.
How You Will Make An Impact
Lead and develop 5 experienced analysts and data scientists - prioritization, coaching, quarterly goal-setting, and clean handoffs with stakeholders
Own a meaningful book of actionable analysis yourself across eCommerce, supply chain, and health - you stay close to the data, not managing from a distance
Partner directly with senior leaders in each area, with regular exposure to the executive team
Define and steward the KPI and reporting standards these functions run on
Advance our AI-native analytics roadmap, including self-serve tools that connect business teams directly to our data
Set the bar for what strong, AI-forward analytics work looks like - and champion it across the team, pushing analysts to share ideas, cross-pollinate approaches, and spread unlocks org-wide
Create a culture of Data Analytics excellence where the function is viewed as a strategic partner on analytical matters, providing guidance and assistance to all functional groups as needed
Solve complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely analysis, business insights, and recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders
Translate business priorities into a clear, prioritized analytics roadmap - weighing tradeoffs and making strong recommendations on what the team takes on and what waits

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5-7+ years experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering or customer-facing technical sales.
- Past experience in demo building, and presenting, and working with customers or clients in the GTM function.
- Experience in relationship-building with potential customers, including executives and technical leaders.
- Experience in leading the sales process with Enterprise customers.
- Ability to connect a prospect’s specific business problems and Sierra’s solutions and explain them to both a technical and non-technical audience
- Ability to leverage AI tools efficiently as a regular part of your technical sales motion — discovery prep, solution design, demo and prototype building, technical proposals. With that, you know where these tools can help and where human judgment still is required. Importantly, you own the accuracy of anything you put in front of a customer, whether or not AI helped you build it. This ownership looks like us not saying "[AI tool of choice] built this", but "I built this with [AI tool of choice]."
- Bachelor's Degree or above; bonus if in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong English and Korean written and verbal communication
EVEN BETTER...
- Experience translating code, technical logic and user requirements to product and engineering requirements.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.

We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. We strive to evaluate all applicants consistently without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation, citizenship, or any other legally protected class.
Location: Berlin
Workplace: Hybrid
OUR STORY:
Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.
Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Taxfix is building something most companies only talk about: a fully agentic infrastructure layer that every team in the company will depend on. And right now, IT is either the foundation that makes that possible — or the bottleneck that slows it down.
As our Director of Security & IT, you are the difference between those two outcomes. This is not a traditional IT Director role. You won't be managing tickets or keeping the lights on. You'll be building a platform function from the ground up — one that gives every hybrid human-agent team at Taxfix the speed, security, and confidence to move without friction. Reporting to our Chief People Officer and working closely with our Systems Engineer and cross-functional partners across Engineering, Legal, Finance, and People Ops, you'll define the infrastructure and security foundation that turns our agentic ambitions into reality.
The best outcome in this role isn't that IT stays out of the way — it's that IT raises the bar for how the whole organization operates. You'll set standards that others build to, make calls that shape Taxfix's security posture for years, and build the infrastructure layer that our agentic ambitions depend on. This role comes with real authority and real accountability. If you want to be the person who defines what modern IT looks like at a company that's genuinely building the future of work — this is that job.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the vision and roadmap for Taxfix's internal infrastructure and tooling layer, driving the transition from IT as a ticket-resolving function to an internal platform product that enables every hybrid human-agent team to move faster and more securely.
- Lead and develop the IT team — including helpdesk, systems engineering, and the incoming Security & Platform Engineer — ensuring clear ownership, structured growth paths, and a high-performing team culture through a period of significant structural change.
- Own all core IT operations: device management (MDM), identity and access management, workplace technology, SaaS tooling, third-party network provider relationship, and hardware provisioning — maintaining reliability, cost controlling and service quality while progressively raising the bar on what "good" looks like.
- Set the security strategy and posture for Taxfix's systems and agent ecosystem, embedding security continuously into platform infrastructure rather than applying it as a gate at the end.
- Work closely with our Systems Engineers and the agentic framework team to build and document the agentic platform layer — including secure sandboxes, credential vaults, and CI/CD pipelines — ensuring infrastructure decisions support the organisation's agentic ambitions.
- Own IT-specific risk management, compliance controls, and audit readiness across internal systems and infrastructure, partnering with Legal, Compliance, and enterprise risk owners on GDPR/DSGVO, SOC 2, and applicable financial regulatory requirements.
- Manage supplier relationships and lead the build and lead the build/buy/partner evaluation, making a long-term recommendation grounded in both technical and business considerations.
- Be the business-facing voice for IT in leadership conversations — translating infrastructure and security decisions into clear business terms and building trusted relationships with Engineering, Legal, Finance, and People Ops.
- Define and track platform health metrics, service quality, and internal adoption — including establishing internal NPS for IT services as a baseline, driving measurable reductions in ticket volume and mean time to resolution, and reporting transparently on the agentic infrastructure layer.
YOUR PROFILE:
- You have proven experience leading an IT or infrastructure function at a scale-up or regulated tech company — including ownership of core IT operations such as helpdesk, MDM, identity management, and workplace technology. You know what it takes to run these reliably while simultaneously raising the ambition of what the function can be.
- You have built or are capable of building a platform mindset in a team that has historically operated as a support function — you understand what that shift requires culturally, structurally, and in terms of how success gets measured.
- You bring strong enough technical depth to have credible, substantive conversations with engineers — you can interrogate technical decisions, ask the right questions, and know when to push back.
- You are security-literate and have hands-on experience setting security strategy: you understand the threat landscape, have navigated compliance and audit obligations in a regulated environment, and know what good security posture looks like at both the infrastructure and application layer.
- You have experience with agentic or AI infrastructure, or you bring genuine curiosity and a track record of fast learning in emerging technical domains — this space is moving quickly, and so are we.
- You have managed vendors and external partners, including evaluating and making build/buy/outsource decisions, and you're comfortable owning those relationships end to end.
- You are familiar with the compliance and data obligations that come with operating in a regulated environment — financial services, tax, or similar — and you've translated those obligations into practical infrastructure and process decisions.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and energised by the opportunity to help shape a function that is being designed in real time — you don't wait for a playbook; you help write it.
- You grow the people around you: you see early-career team members and ambitious engineers as people to invest in, and you create the conditions for them to do their best work.
- You are ego-light: you are comfortable with invisible success — the best outcome is that teams don't notice IT because everything works — and you are willing to tell leadership when a request isn't feasible and explain why in terms that land.
WHY TAXFIX?
- A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.
- Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions.
- A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like.
- Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create.
- 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours.
- A generous learning budget to support your personal and professional development and guidance from our internal L&D experts.
- Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip.
- Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible.
- Free tax declaration filing, of course, through the Taxfix app—and internal support for all personal tax-related questions.
- Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office.
Excited? So are we. Learn more about Team Taxfix https://medium.com/taxfix on our blog and get a glimpse of our culture.

We're proudly committed to equal employment and development opportunities no matter your gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, colour, disability, or place of origin. To help mitigate any potential unconscious biases, we ask that you refrain from including your picture, age, or marital status on your CV. Let your experiences speak for themselves.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Senior HR Operations Manager to play a key role in building and scaling the HR operations that support our growing team.
This is an opportunity to have real ownership and impact. You’ll oversee the core employee lifecycle while shaping the processes, systems, and ways of working that enable us to grow effectively. From improving existing workflows to introducing smarter, more automated solutions, you’ll have the freedom to challenge how things are done and make them better.
Working closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, and Legal, you’ll help create a seamless employee experience and ensure our HR operations are accurate, efficient, and built to scale.
If you enjoy bringing structure to fast-moving environments, solving operational challenges, and building things that make a tangible difference, this is a chance to help shape HR Operations at an exciting stage of our growth.

- Design and continuously improve HR processes and workflows to support rapid headcount growth
- Partner with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate, timely monthly payroll inputs (starters, leavers, changes, benefits)
- Partner with Legal, HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to ensure a smooth, well-documented employee lifecycle
- Act as the escalation point for employee queries relating to contracts, benefits, and policies
- Support audits (right-to-work, compliance, insurance) and maintain accurate employee records
- Ensure HR policies, employee handbooks, and processes comply with UK employment law (and monitor changes that require updates)
- Manage relationships with external vendors (such as benefits providers etc)
- Identify opportunities to automate and simplify recurring HR admin work
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of experience in People Operations, ideally in a fast-growing or scale-up environment
- Solid working knowledge of UK employment law and best practice
- Experience owning or administering an HRIS (preferably HiBob)
- Experience coordinating with payroll providers and benefits administration in the UK
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; comfortable working with and cleaning large datasets
- Excellent attention to detail and a process-first mindset
- Strong communication skills — able to explain policy and process clearly to employees at all levels
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and building processes from scratch where none exist yet
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas–New Year shutdown).
- Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.
- Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.
- Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in-office.
- Work at the frontier - collaborate daily with world-class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics.
- Real ownership - direct access to founding leadership, meaningful input on product direction, and the ability to drive key initiatives from day one.

Japan is one of the most sophisticated enterprise technology markets in the world, and one where partners, not vendors, typically own the customer relationship. The Head of Partnerships, Japan will build and lead the team that makes Anthropic's partner ecosystem the primary route to Japanese enterprise.
You will set the partner strategy for Japan, develop the team that executes it, and own the partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, revenue and attach rate for the country. You will personally lead our most strategic partner relationships at the executive level while coaching your team to do the same across the GSI, regional SI, and reseller landscape.
This is a player-coach role for an experienced partner leader who has built and scaled partner businesses in Japan before, ideally for a US technology company entering or growing in the market. You will work day to day with the Japan sales leadership and the in-region Applied AI team, represent Japan within Anthropic's International Partnerships organisation, and carry the voice of Japanese partners and customers into our global product and go-to-market decisions.
Key responsibilities
Lead and build the team
Hire, develop and retain a high-performing Japan partner team spanning GSI, regional SI and reseller coverage, sized and structured to the market opportunity
Set clear goals, territories and partner portfolios for each team member, and hold the team accountable to pipeline, revenue and attach-rate outcomes
Establish the team's operating cadence: one-on-ones, weekly pipeline reviews, deal inspection, partner QBRs and quarterly business planning
Coach the team on executive engagement, joint business planning and co-selling in Japanese enterprise accounts, and model those behaviours personally
Set and own the Japan partner strategy
Define which partner segments, partners and motions Anthropic prioritises in Japan, and in what sequence, based on revenue potential, customer reach and strategic fit
Design the partner coverage model across our partner landscape (NTT DATA, Fujitsu, NEC, Hitachi, Accenture and others), and where we go deep vs. broad.
Localise Anthropic's global partner program for Japan, including tiers, incentives, enablement paths and rules of engagement, and feed Japan requirements back into the global program design
Own the annual and quarterly partner business plan for Japan and report on it to International Partnerships leadership
Lead our most strategic partnerships
Own the executive relationships with Anthropic's most consequential partners in Japan, from joint business planning through to board-level sponsorship on both sides
Negotiate and structure partnership agreements, including resale, co-development and revenue-sharing constructs, working with Legal, Finance and Deal Desk
Lead the creation of joint solutions and industry offerings with partner practices in manufacturing, financial services, retail, telecommunications, life sciences and the public sector
Own partner pipeline, revenue and attach rate
Carry the Japan partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline and revenue targets, and the partner attach-rate target, for the team
Run a disciplined forecast with the team and with Japan sales leadership, ensuring partner deals are registered, progressed and closed with predictability
Decide where to deploy partner investments (market development funds, enablement, co-marketing, headcount) for the highest return
Build the reporting and systems hygiene that gives International Partnerships and Anthropic leadership a clear, trusted view of the Japan partner business
Represent Japan and drive cross-functional execution
Act as the single point of accountability for the partner business in Japan with Japan sales leadership, the Applied AI organisation, Marketing, Legal and Product
Ensure Japanese partner and customer requirements, including language, data residency, security and sovereignty needs, are understood and prioritised by global product and engineering teams
Partner with the Japan sales leader to embed partners into account planning and co-selling for the country's priority accounts
Resolve channel conflict between direct sales, SIs and resellers, and set the rules of engagement that keep the ecosystem healthy as it grows
Be the face of Anthropic's partner ecosystem in Japan
Represent Anthropic at partner executive forums, industry conferences and analyst engagements related to the partner ecosystem
Sponsor the development of Japanese customer success stories, delivered with partners, that resonate with Japanese enterprise buyers
Build Anthropic's reputation as the partner-first AI company in Japan through the way your team shows up every day
Minimum qualifications
Experience in enterprise technology, with a substantial portion leading partner, alliances or channel businesses in Japan
People leadership experience over partner or alliance teams, with a track record of hiring, developing and retaining strong performers
Direct experience building a partner business in Japan for a US or global technology company, ideally through a period of rapid growth or market entry (hyperscaler, enterprise SaaS, data or AI platform)
Proven ownership of partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue targets at a country or regional level, with the forecasting discipline to match
Established executive relationships with Japan's major system integrators, consulting firms, and a reputation they would vouch for
Experience negotiating complex partnership structures: resale agreements, joint solution development, and revenue-sharing or incentive models
Demonstrated ability to operate as a player-coach, personally owning strategic relationships while building a team that scales beyond you
Comfort shaping strategy in ambiguity and turning it into an operating plan, while working closely with global teams in other time zones
Business-level fluency in Japanese and English, and the cultural fluency to move between Japanese enterprise norms and a fast-moving US company
Based in Tokyo
Preferred qualifications
15 to 20+ years in enterprise technology leading partner, alliances or channel businesses in Japan and 5+ years of people leadership over partner or alliance teams
Experience with AI, data or cloud platform partnerships specifically, including partner-built solutions and marketplace motions
Experience on the partner side, inside a Japanese SI or distributor, and an understanding of how those organisations make decisions
Experience localising a global partner program for Japan and influencing its design
Experience working alongside professional services or applied AI teams to deliver partner-led customer outcomes
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

directly for confirmed position openings.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

✨ ONE PLATFORM, A WHOLE WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY
The best jobs have always clustered in a handful of the world's wealthiest cities. But talent is everywhere. Oyster set out to close that gap - building a global employment platform that lets companies hire, pay, and care for brilliant people anywhere.
We're proof that a high-performing culture doesn't need an office. Distributed across 60+ countries since 2020, we've built something the industry keeps noticing:
- Ranked #10 of 250 on TIME and Statista's 2026 list of America's Top WorkTech Companies https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-hr-named-10-of-americas-top-worktech-companies-of-2026-by-time
- Named one of America's Greatest Startup Workplaces 2026 https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-2026-newsweek-award by Newsweek
- A G2 Spring 2026 Leader https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-named-best-roi-for-any-global-employment-platform-for-g2-spring-2026 across Employer of Record, Global Employment, Multi-country Payroll, and HR Compliance
- The only B Corp-certified global employment platform ~ independently verified since 2023
Two of those rankings measured our business impact from the outside. One measured how our own people feel about working here. They landed in the same place ~ because at Oyster, culture and performance aren't separate conversations. They're the same one.
And we're just getting started. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love for you to apply.
Location: To create the best experience for this employee and to meet the business needs, this role requires you to be based within the EMEA region.
ROLE SUMMARY
This is an exciting time to join Oyster. The Netherlands is one of our most important markets and this role will give you real ownership over how payroll runs, with the scope to help us achieve best-in-class payroll standards at scale.
You'll be our lead in-house payroll expert: the person we trust to own Dutch payroll end-to-end, build scalable workflows in AFAS, Nmbrs by Visma and / or Loket.nl http://Loket.nl, and set the standard for how payroll should run. If you've run native Dutch payroll from the ground up, know AFAS Nmbrs by Visma and/or Loket.nl http://Loket.nl inside out, have strong opinions on doing payroll right, and have helped build or transform a payroll function before, this role is built for you.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run payroll end-to-end. Own the full Dutch payroll cycle in-house; accurate, compliant, and on time.
- Master data ownership. Oversee the validation of employee payroll master data; new hires, terminations, salary changes, variable pay, benefits, absences, and garnishments (loonbeslag), ensuring every change is processed accurately and within payroll deadlines.
- Payroll controls & quality. Run rigorous pre- and post-payroll validations each cycle, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to keep payroll accurate before issues reach team members, customers or Finance.
- Handle all statutory filings & accesses. Loonaangifte (monthly payroll tax) and Jaaropgave (annual statement) — you own the Belastingdienst submissions. You will also be responsible for setting up and managing required government accesses (Belastingdienst, UWV).
- Own the payroll system. Configure and maintain the in-house payroll system, test legislative updates before they go live, troubleshoot issues, and partner with our Product team to improve automation and scalability.
- Be the subject matter expert. Advise the business on Loonheffing (payroll tax), Sociale verzekeringen (social insurance), Dutch arbeidsrecht (labour law), 30% ruling applications and CAO (collective labour agreement) interpretation.
- Own the numbers. Oversee payroll journals, GL mappings, reconciliations with Finance, and full data integrity.
- Own complex escalations. Be the key point of contact for our most complex client payroll issues. Pair your deep technical expertise with a customer-first mindset to turn hard problems into a best-in-class experience.
- Reporting. Maintain and prepare statutory and ad-hoc reports to meet regulatory requirements, including EU Pay Transparency Directive obligations, AVG/GDPR compliance across payroll data, WKR and Ondernemingsraad (works council)-facing pay assessment documentation.
- Audits. Provide structured data and documentation to support internal and external audits.
- Level the team up. Improve processes, coach junior specialists through complex problems rather than solving issues for them, and back up Regional Managers when needed. Maintain a living knowledge base e.g. playbooks and SOPs. so legal updates and process knowledge stay documented and shared, never siloed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years running the complete native (in-house) payroll process for the Netherlands, comfortable independently handling a high volume of payslips per month.
- Advanced, hands-on AFAS and / or Nmbrs by Visma and / or Loket.nl http://Loket.nl experience is non-negotiable.
- PDL (Praktijkdiploma Loonadministratie) and/or VPS (Vakopleiding Payroll Services) certification and/or NIRPA Register Salarisadministrateur (RSa) registration; HBO (Bachelor) in Business Admin or Finance highly valued.
- Deep, current working knowledge of Dutch wage tax, social insurance, and labor law, and the confidence to advise stakeholders directly, not just execute.
- Dutch at C1/C2 for interaction with local authorities and fluent English for collaborating with our async global team.
- Comfortable owning complex, sensitive client escalations; balancing technical precision with a genuine customer-first mindset.
- An analytical, productivity-obsessed mindset. You're not a corporate "just follow the process" type; you thrive working from a blank canvas to build and set up processes, with an automation mindset that keeps improving how the work gets done.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving cross-functional change, even without an established playbook.
- Some experience coaching or mentoring less experienced colleagues; you like building others up, not just solving problems yourself.
- Comfortable working largely asynchronously in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- A broader accounting background or qualification (e.g. RA/AA accountancy qualification); particularly useful for the GL mapping and reconciliation side of the role.
- Proven experience working on and delivering cross-functional HR/Payroll projects.
- Hands-on capability working with AI tools to optimize payroll or operations workflows.
- Strong data transformation skills and practical experience with data analytics platforms.

Identify growth and efficiency opportunities and engage the right internal resources to capture them.
Serve as EveryMatrix's regional expert: country-level insights, regulatory landscape, competitive trends, and future market shifts.

Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to grow team capability.
Report to the Head of Accounts (line manager), collaborating closely with both the Head of Accounts and CCO on strategy, forecasting, and pipeline reporting.
Deliver reports to management in line with the agreed cadence.
What we’re looking for:
8+ years of experience in account management, commercial, or client-facing roles, with at least 3 years at Director / Senior Manager level.
Strong background in the iGaming, SaaS, or B2B technology sector preferred.
Demonstrated success managing multi-million-euro client portfolios with full commercial accountability.

Fluency in English and German required; other language skills are a plus.
Willingness to travel regularly within the region and to EveryMatrix offices.

You will build influential narratives that strengthen Flo’s position as a category-defining women’s health company, deepen trust in our brand, and raise the visibility of women’s health.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role. You will advise senior executives on complex issues while building media relationships, developing stories, preparing spokespeople, and leading responses when the stakes are high.
The ideal candidate will bring the judgment and credibility required to communicate responsibly at the intersection of healthcare, technology, privacy, science, culture, and public policy.
What you’ll do
Lead Flo’s communications strategy
Develop a global PR and external communications strategy aligned with Flo’s brand, product, commercial, and company priorities.
Create a differentiated corporate narrative that positions Flo as a leader in women’s health, consumer technology, and medically credible digital health.
Lead communications across corporate reputation, product launches, scientific research, partnerships, executive visibility, and thought leadership.
Identify the conversations Flo should lead and establish clear objectives and measures of success.
Build reputation through powerful storytelling
Strengthen trust in Flo among consumers, healthcare professionals, media, partners, policymakers, and other influential stakeholders.

Partner with Medical Affairs, Science and Research, Privacy, Security, Legal, Product, and Public Policy to communicate complex and sensitive topics accurately.
Act as a senior company spokesperson and prepare executives and subject-matter experts for media engagements.
Advise leaders and protect Flo’s reputation
Serve as a trusted communications adviser to the CEO, CMO, executive leadership team, and other senior stakeholders.
Build distinctive thought leadership platforms for Flo’s executives, doctors, scientists, and researchers.
Lead issues management and crisis communications, including scenario planning, escalation protocols, response strategies, and spokesperson preparation.
Anticipate reputational risks across reproductive health, medical claims, data privacy, AI, and public policy.
Provide clear, composed counsel under pressure, balancing transparency, empathy, legal considerations, medical accuracy, and the needs of Flo’s community.
Lead the function
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global communications team.
Manage PR agencies and specialist partners across priority markets.
Own the communications budget and allocate resources against the highest-impact priorities.
Establish strong global processes while allowing for local cultural and media nuance.
Partner with the People team to ensure consistency across external and employee communications.
What you’ll bring
Significant progressive experience in public relations and corporate communications within a high-profile, consumer-facing organization.
A track record of leading global communications strategies that strengthen reputation and support business growth.
Experience in digital health, healthcare, consumer technology, or another complex and highly regulated sector.
Deep expertise in corporate reputation, consumer PR, executive communications, media relations, issues management, and crisis communications.
Strong relationships with relevant global media, or a demonstrated ability to build them.
Experience translating technical, medical, scientific, or data-led subjects into clear and compelling narratives.
Sound judgment when navigating sensitive issues, incomplete information, and public scrutiny.
Experience advising CEOs and senior executives, with the confidence to offer constructive challenge.
Strong people leadership and experience managing teams, agencies, budgets, and international programs.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
A data-informed approach to communications planning and evaluation.
The ability to move between long-term strategy and hands-on delivery in a fast-moving environment.
What will make you successful at Flo
You are an ambitious storyteller who understands that trust is earned through substance, consistency, and action. You combine high standards with pragmatism, remain calm under pressure, and build strong relationships across disciplines and geographies. You are curious about science, technology, culture, and the lived experiences of Flo’s community, and you care deeply about improving women’s health.
Annual Salary Range (ranges may vary based on skills and experience)
£120,000
—
£150,000 GBP
How we work
We’re a mission-led, product-driven team. We move fast, stay focused and take ownership – from brief to build to impact. Debate is encouraged. Decisions are shared. We care about craft, ship with purpose, and always raise the bar.
You’ll be working with people who take their work seriously, not themselves. It takes commitment, resilience, and the drive to keep going when things get tough. Because better health outcomes are worth it.
What you'll get
We support impact with meaningful reward. Here’s what that looks like:
Competitive salary and annual reviews
Opportunity to participate in Flo’s performance incentive scheme

Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Commercially minded:
you judge your own work by pipeline influenced and deals won, and you actually enjoy talking to sales.

AI tools are already part of how you work every day.
