We are a leading trading platform that is ambitiously expanding to the four corners of the globe. Our top-rated products have won prestigious industry awards for their cutting-edge technology and seamless client experience. We deliver only the best, so we are always in search of the best people to join our ever-growing talented team.
We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager - AI Automation to lead how Capital.com uses AI and automation across Operations, including Customer Support and FinCrime.
You will own the automation roadmap. That means deciding what to automate, sizing and ranking each opportunity, and then building, testing and rolling out the automations with the teams who use them. You’ll redesign processes so that AI handles what it does well, fixed rules cover what needs to be predictable, and people keep the decisions that need judgement. You’ll work closely with operational managers, control owners, Product and Engineering, and lead a team of one to two people.
Requirements:
Own the automation roadmap and increase the share of automated tasks across Operations.
Find opportunities by analysing where time is lost, errors occur or work is repeated. Prioritise those with a clear baseline and measurable value.
Redesign processes with their users and control owners. Agree where AI adds value, where fixed rules work better and where a human must decide.
Build prototypes and working automations, and work with Product and Engineering on integrations and production support.
Test against real conditions (incomplete inputs, unexpected outputs, failed dependencies). Agree data, permissions and controls before launch, with human review and a manual fallback.
Lead rollout with operational managers and support colleagues through adoption.
Track quality, usage and benefits against baseline, including review and support costs. Fix failures, and document ownership, monitoring and recovery after launch.
Requirements:
5+ years in operations, process excellence, automation or a similar field.
Hands-on experience building and launching AI and automation in live operations, with measurable results.
Ability to size opportunities and turn them into a prioritised roadmap.
Experience redesigning processes with operational teams and control owners in a regulated or control-heavy environment.
Experience testing AI workflows and designing human review and exception handling.
Experience working with Product and Engineering, and managing direct reports.
Nice to have:
Financial services, fintech, brokerage or payments background.
Automation in Customer Support, KYC or FinCrime/AML.
Hands-on use of LLM APIs, workflow tools such as n8n, and Python or SQL.

About Osano:
Osano is an innovative B-Corporation built around a simple belief: privacy is a fundamental right. Since day one, we’ve been focused on giving modern enterprises the ability to innovate quickly, stay competitive, and earn customer trust by respecting data privacy and complying with consent guidelines. Our products help organizations operate confidently in a rapidly evolving regulatory and technological landscape.
About The Role:
We're looking for a product-minded
Senior Software Engineer
to own meaningful parts of the Osano platform end to end, from shaping a problem with Product to running the result in production.
This role is for an engineer who treats AI tooling as a real force multiplier. You use coding agents and AI-assisted workflows to explore unfamiliar code faster, ship more and remove repetitive work. You also have the judgment to verify everything that goes out under your name. We want someone whose impact goes beyond what they write by hand, and who helps the engineers around them do the same.
You'll work across our React front end, Node.js services, PostgreSQL data stores and AWS infrastructure. You'll partner closely with Product, Design, QA and Security.
This is a remote role. You must be based in, and authorized to work in, the United States.
What you'll do:
Build and ship product, end to end
Lead multi-sprint projects from design through rollout: turn a loosely defined problem into a plan, break it into work that you and others can action, and deliver close to estimate.
Design systems that hold up, and write design docs and decision records that weigh the alternatives.
Partner with Product on scope: propose MVP cuts, phasing and tradeoffs, and measure whether what we shipped actually helped customers.
Engineer with AI to multiply your impact
Use AI coding agents and assistants across the whole development lifecycle: exploring codebases, scaffolding, writing tests, debugging, refactoring, migrations and code review.
Stay accountable for every line you ship. You understand and can explain AI-generated code, and you know where AI shouldn't be trusted.
Turn repetitive engineering work into automation: scripts, agent workflows, and checks that save your team time every week.
Share what works: help define how our teams use AI tools, and how we review and verify AI-assisted work.
Use AI responsibly. Customer and personal data stays out of AI tools except through approved, privacy-safe paths. This is non-negotiable at a privacy company.
Own what you ship in production
Build observability, feature flags and rollback paths into your work from the start.
Take turns on our triage and on-call rotation. Lead incident response for your team's systems, and see postmortem follow-ups through to completion.
Identify tech debt, size it, and make the case to get it into the plan.
Build with privacy and security by design
Apply data minimization, residency, retention and access controls to the systems you design, especially those that handle customer and personal data.
Write secure code and fix vulnerabilities in your area as part of normal work.
Raise the bar and grow others
Give code and design reviews that change outcomes, not just approvals.
Mentor engineers earlier in their careers, and make your team better at testing, reviewing and operating software.
Interview candidates and help us hire well.
About you:
Delightful Experience.
You care about the customer problem, not just the ticket, and you push for what actually helps.
Own Your Impact.
You take full responsibility for outcomes, from the first design doc to how the feature behaves in production at 2 a.m.
Stronger Together.
You put team success ahead of individual wins, give direct and kind feedback, and treat documentation and async communication as first-class work.
Growth Mindset.
You're curious and keep learning, especially as AI changes how software gets built. You're excited about what it can do without overselling it or ignoring its limits.
You're comfortable with ambiguity and create clarity for others through good design and clear writing.
Must-haves:
Typically
5+ years
building and shipping production software. We care more about what you've owned than the number of years.
A track record of
leading multi-sprint projects
from design to production in a team setting.
Strong
JavaScript/Node.js
and
React
experience, and solid
relational database
skills (PostgreSQL preferred).
Strong
system design
fundamentals: data modeling, API design, and naming the tradeoffs.
Experience
owning production systems
: on-call, incident response, observability.
Hands-on, day-to-day use of AI coding tools
such as Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot, with concrete examples of how they made you or your team more effective, and how you verify their output.
Experience
mentoring
other engineers.
Strong
written communication
in a remote, async environment.
Nice-to-haves:
AWS experience (ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, RDS), especially multi-region or data-residency work.
Privacy, security or compliance-sensitive B2B SaaS (GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2).
Building AI-powered automations, agent workflows or LLM-based product features.
Data and analytics tooling (Redshift, Athena) or event-driven architectures.
CI/CD, preview/ephemeral environments, end-to-end testing (Cypress).
How we work:
Fully remote, with at least four hours of overlap each day with your team's core hours.
Collaborative and video-on for meetings, and async-first for everything else. Bring people in when they are needed and share what you’re working on with the team.
Regular 1:1 checkins with your manager, with a focus on growth conversations.
Why Us:
We're a welcoming team that's dependable, curious, moves fast, and full of talented people
We're a B-corporation with a mission that matters, in a high-growth space with significant potential
You'll have access to our training program, well-defined career paths, and a leadership team that values professional development
Benefits:
Competitive-pay compensation and ownership interest/equity
Unlimited paid time off, plus a requirement to take at least two weeks off per year
We're a Best Place for Working Parents and offer paid parental leave for all new parents
Osano sponsors individual premiums on base plans at 100% and dependent premiums at 50% for Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance via Aetna
A fully and permanently remote company, so you can work from anywhere in the U.S.
Receive a MacBook and $600 to craft your home workspace
Annual company trip designed to foster connection, creativity, and fun
Mental health benefits with free memberships to mindfulness and talk therapy services

WHO WE ARE
Hi, we're DuckDuckGo, the online protection company and remote-first team of 400+ on a mission to raise the standard of trust online. Founded in 2008 and profitable since 2014, our annual revenue is in the hundreds of millions USD and millions use our browser on Mac https://spreadprivacy.com/introducing-duckduckgo-for-mac/, Windows https://spreadprivacy.com/windows-browser-open-beta/, iOS https://spreadprivacy.com/duckduckgo-privacy-browser-ios14/, and Android https://spreadprivacy.com/introducing-app-tracking-protection/, our search engine https://duckduckgo.com/, and the DuckDuckGo subscription https://duckduckgo.com/pro. We also offer private, useful, and optional AI, including Duck.ai https://duck.ai/, which lets you chat privately with ChatGPT, Claude, and other AIs, all in one place.
Our culture https://duckduckgo.com/how-we-work of trust, inclusivity, and empowered project management underpins everything we do, where each team member takes full ownership of their projects, from scoping and execution to postmortem. If you're seeking end-to-end ownership of your work, you've come to the right place!
YOUR TEAM AND ROLE
As a Director, Paid Marketing, working on the Marketing & Communications team, you’ll be a strategic leader responsible for building and scaling a profitable paid subscriber acquisition program and related projects. Partnering closely with marketing, product, design, user insights, data science and finance teams, you will own KPI development, campaign strategy, budget and resource allocation, and performance measurement.
You'll lead strategic roadmapping, prioritize high-impact projects, resource cross-functional teams, and ensure marketing performance is measured with a high degree of confidence. The right person is excited to prove that paid marketing growth and privacy-respecting advertising practices aren’t at odds — they’re our edge. You know how to use aggregate measurement, experimentation, and strong judgment rather than user-level targeting and tracking.
Example projects include:
- Leading the development of and alignment around a break-even model that defines a profitable CPA
- Planning integrated campaigns and securing buy-in to drive profitable paid subscriber growth
- Designing and executing rapid testing cycles to identify and scale successful tactics
ABOUT YOU
- 10+ years of professional experience, including 4+ years in a senior leadership role driving profitable app subscription growth (ideally 1M+ subscribers).
- Deep strategic expertise with a strong hands-on understanding of marketing channels (e.g., app store ads, paid social, mobile app networks), integrated campaign planning and execution, performance measurement, audience alignment, and creative best practices.
- Proven track record of launching paid app subscription acquisition programs from the ground up, including setting cost-per-subscription targets, developing media plans, establishing measurement frameworks, and shaping creative and messaging.
- Experience working at a consumer-facing tech company with a meaningful US user base (ideally 10M+ MAUs) and multiple products.
- Skill in developing others, not just directing them, with demonstrated improvements in collaboration, expertise, productivity, and business impact.
- Ability to apply first-principles thinking to break down ambiguous growth opportunities, challenge assumptions, identify the key drivers, and turn them into focused, achievable initiatives.
- Comfort working in resource-constrained orgs where opportunity cost and impact are key drivers for prioritization and resource allocation.
- High capability in analytics and measurement, including app economics (payback, LTV), incrementality/lift testing, modeling, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills — you can clearly articulate recommendations and rationale, verbally and in writing, at all organizational levels.
- Willingness to use AI and build effective workflows, accelerating work through AI agents.
COMPENSATION
Compensation is transparent across the organization, and all team members within the same professional level and global region receive the same compensation, plus stock options:
- United States: $263,300 USD
- United Kingdom: £183,850 GBP
- Canada: CA$346,250 CAD
- All other regions*: €214,950 EUR
*Team members outside the US, UK and Canada are currently paid $243,800 USD. Pay converts to the EUR amount above on January 1, 2027 for Spanish team members, and approximately February 1, 2027 in all other regions.
Eligibility for company-sponsored health benefits is limited to team members based in the United States. This program does not extend to team members located in other countries, such as Canada or the UK.
Our Team Member Support Guide https://duckduckgo.com/assets/hiring/team_support_guide.pdf explains how we prioritize your wellbeing including paid parental leave, office setup, and co-working allowances.

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world’s longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a small, dedicated growth and experimentation team within Krak, focused on accelerating acquisition, activation, engagement and trading activity across the Krak app. This is a frontend-leaning full-stack role: the majority of your work will be in React Native, supported by enough backend capability to take an experiment from idea to live without waiting on another team.
Rather than executing against a rigid roadmap, you’ll work closely with Product on a continuous pipeline of fast, lightweight experiments, owning each one from hypothesis through implementation, launch, measurement and iteration. The mandate is simple: find the highest-leverage opportunities to grow users and revenue, prove what works, and scale the winners – with direct, measurable impact on how millions of customers discover and use Kraken’s products.
The opportunity
- Build and ship consumer-facing features quickly in React Native and TypeScript, favouring small, high-velocity experiments over long-running projects.
- Own experiments end-to-end – hypothesis, design, build, launch, measurement and iteration – using platforms such as Statsig to test globally or within specific markets.
- Improve onboarding, activation and feature discovery to drive conversion, engagement and trading revenue, iterating rapidly on features that are already live.
- Build viral acquisition features and value-add growth features on top of Krak’s existing product offering.
- Contribute to backend services and APIs wherever an experiment requires it, so you can ship across the stack without being blocked. Our backend is primarily Rust; prior Rust experience is not expected, but enthusiasm for picking it up is.
- Read your own results, including trade-offs between conversion gains and other metrics, and decide whether to scale, iterate or kill – driving technical decisions autonomously amid evolving priorities and limited upfront planning.
What you bring
- 6+ years of software development experience building and shipping large-scale, consumer-facing applications. Strong, hands-on React and React Native experience is essential.
- Demonstrated experience running growth experiments at consumer-facing businesses, with measurable impact on conversion, activation, retention or revenue. This is a consumer growth role, so B2B or platform-only backgrounds are not a fit.
- Working backend proficiency: you can design and implement services and APIs yourself. We care about backend fundamentals rather than any particular language, and you should be open to working in Rust.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals, with hands-on experience across APIs, WebSockets and real-time systems, mobile performance, testing, and modern development workflows.
- Practical experience designing, running and analysing A/B tests – feature flags, statistical significance, product analytics, funnel and cohort data – with the judgement to act decisively on what the results show.
- End-to-end ownership of product features and a strong product engineering mindset, with the initiative and adaptability to operate with minimal direction amid ambiguity and frequently changing priorities.
Nice to haves
- Customer-facing product experience within fintech, digital banking, payments, trading or crypto.
- Hands-on experience with Statsig or a comparable experimentation platform, including regional and global rollouts.
- Rust experience, given our backend stack.
- SQL and self-serve analytics, so you can pull and interrogate your own data.
- AI fluency. Familiarity with how AI tools and patterns have fundamentally shifted your development workflow and problem-solving approach.
- Native mobile development (iOS/Android), distributed systems or microservices, or engineering within a hyperscaling consumer technology organisation.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.
As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.

About Finom
Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we’re on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Our mission is to develop an all-in-one financial B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a seamless, mobile-first platform.
We recently closed a €115 million Series C equity round (around $133 million), bringing our total funding to approximately $346 million. This significant investment follows a $105 million growth funding round from General Catalyst, a long-term backer since 2021 known for supporting companies like Airbnb, HubSpot, KAYAK, and Stripe.
Finom's platform goes beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, aiming to simplify financial management for entrepreneurs. We're actively expanding our reach across key EU markets like Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.
At Finom, we’re not just redefining the entrepreneurial experience — we’re empowering our employees to make a real difference. Your work matters, and your impact extends far beyond product metrics. We nurture innovation and an inspiring work environment where bold ideas thrive, prioritizing thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and our business as a whole.
Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.
We're looking for a Senior Android Engineer or Tech Lead who thinks like a product builder — someone who cares deeply about the "why" behind what they're building, not just the tickets in the backlog.
You'll be embedded in a cross-functional domain team (Backend, Mobile, ML/AI, QA, Design, and Product) and own the end-to-end development of features that genuinely matter: company accounts and cash flows, banking transactions, card issuance and management, and AI-enabled accounting. You'll help shape architecture decisions, raise the bar on engineering quality, and mentor the engineers around you.
If you're energized by working at the intersection of great mobile engineering and real product impact — this is the role.
What You’ll Do
Design and build new features for our Android application, used daily by business owners across Europe.
Architect and implement reliable, intuitive solutions for:
Multi-account cash flow management
Banking transactions and payments
Physical and virtual card issuance, activation, and control
AI-powered accounting automation
Build polished, responsive UIs using
Jetpack Compose
.
Take ownership of code quality, performance, and stability — automated testing and thorough code reviews are non-negotiable.
Collaborate closely with Backend, QA, Design, and Product — you'll be shaping solutions end-to-end, not just implementing specs.
Drive technical decisions within your domain, challenge assumptions when needed, and proactively identify opportunities to build better.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and mobile best practices across the team.
Who You Are
You're pragmatic and have a proven track record of shipping products that matter. You communicate clearly across disciplines and thrive in a cross-functional environment where everyone is solving the same customer problem together.
Your experience includes:
Strong knowledge of
Kotlin
(Java knowledge is a plus) and 5+ years of commercial Android development.
Deep understanding of
OOP
,
SOLID
, and
Clean Architecture
.
Solid experience with presentation layer patterns —
MVI
,
MVVM
, and
MVP
— and the ability to choose the right one for the context.
Hands-on experience with our core stack:
Reactive programming & async:
RxJava
,
Kotlin Coroutines / Flow
Dependency injection:
Dagger 2
,
Hilt
, or
Koin
Networking:
Retrofit
Navigation:
Cicerone
,
Jetpack Navigation Component
Modern UI:
Jetpack Compose
Practical experience with
Firebase
(FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics).
Experience with
Feature-module architecture
in production.
Confidence with
Git / GitLab
, including setting up and maintaining
GitLab CI/CD
.
A builder's mentality — you care about the product, the users, and the outcomes, not just the code.
Clear, concise communication in English across technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
Background in fintech or experience with financial products — you understand the stakes.
Solid grasp of mobile security best practices (especially critical in our domain).
Experience profiling and optimizing UI performance — reducing overdraw, improving recomposition efficiency in Jetpack Compose, and hitting smooth 60/120fps rendering.
Hands-on work with performance tooling:
Android Profiler
,
Perfetto
,
Baseline Profiles
, or similar.
Published apps on
Google Play
you're proud of.
An active
GitHub
profile with code you're happy to share.
Hands-on experience with
AI agents and LLM tools
(Claude, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) — setting up agent environments, writing prompts, skills, and behavioral rules.
Experience with
AI-powered IDE tools
(Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) — including agent mode, rules files configuration, and integrating AI into the daily development workflow.
Understanding of model
capabilities and limitations
— knowing which model fits which task and how to manage the context window effectively.
Ability to
evaluate and verify AI-generated output
— using automated tests, linters, and critical review to catch hallucinations and errors.
Awareness of
AI security risks
— prompt injection, data leakage, and safe handling of untrusted inputs in agentic workflows.
