About inKind
inKind is transforming the way restaurants access growth capital and build relationships with their guests. Sitting at the intersection of hospitality, fintech, consumer technology, and loyalty, our platform helps restaurant operators grow while giving consumers a better way to discover, experience, and engage with restaurants.
We are entering our next stage of growth, and our ambition is significant: to establish inKind as the market-leading brand in dining and become one of the most recognized and relevant consumer brands in hospitality.
We're looking for a VP of Marketing who has experienced hyper-scale before - someone who understands what it takes to take a rapidly growing company and turn it into a category-defining, nationally recognized brand.
Role Summary
The VP of Marketing will own the strategy, execution, and continuous optimization of inKind's marketing function across growth, brand, lifecycle, acquisition, retention, content, partnerships, and product marketing.
This is a critical leadership role for the next stage of inKind's growth. We want someone who has seen and helped lead hyper-scale firsthand and understands how the marketing strategy, organization, channels, brand, technology, and operating model need to evolve as a company moves from high growth to true market leadership.
Your mandate is bigger than generating leads or running campaigns. You will help turn inKind into a market-leading consumer brand, creating the awareness, affinity, customer growth, and engagement required to make inKind synonymous with discovering and experiencing great restaurants.
This is not a role for someone who wants to operate purely at the strategy level. You will set the vision while remaining deeply involved in execution - understanding how channels perform, how consumers behave, where the funnel can improve, what the brand stands for, and where we should place our next bet.
You will combine brand building with commercial performance, ensuring every marketing investment contributes to sustainable growth and long-term brand equity.
What You'll Own
Hyper-Scale Growth
Build the marketing strategy required to drive inKind through its next paradigm of rapid growth.
Bring firsthand experience of what changes when a business moves from growth into hyper-growth - from channels and organizational structure to processes, technology, measurement, and brand investment.
Identify the growth engines capable of taking inKind from today's scale to the next order of magnitude.
Build repeatable, scalable acquisition and engagement models rather than relying on isolated campaigns.
Anticipate the capabilities, talent, systems, and infrastructure Marketing will need before growth creates the requirement.
Balance aggressive growth with disciplined economics and sustainable customer value.
Growth & Customer Acquisition
Own the overall strategy for consumer growth, acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention.
Build and continuously optimize a diversified acquisition strategy across paid, organic, referral, partnership, local, and emerging channels.
Establish clear performance expectations across the marketing funnel and identify opportunities to improve conversion at every stage.
Own key growth metrics including CAC, conversion, activation, retention, repeat behavior, frequency, and LTV.
Develop scalable growth loops that leverage inKind's restaurant network, consumers, partners, and product.
Test aggressively, learn quickly, and scale what works.
Build a Market-Leading Brand
Own the ambition of transforming inKind from a rapidly growing company into a nationally recognized, market-leading consumer brand.
Define and evolve the inKind brand strategy, positioning, voice, and creative direction.
Establish a clear point of view on what inKind should stand for in the minds of consumers.
Build awareness, consideration, preference, and affinity at scale.
Develop breakthrough campaigns and brand moments capable of expanding inKind beyond its existing audience.
Build a brand that consumers actively recognize, trust, talk about, and want to engage with.
Ensure brand investment and growth marketing work together rather than operating as separate disciplines.
Identify opportunities for inKind to define and lead its category.
Establish consistent and distinctive brand experiences across product, digital, social, restaurant, partnership, experiential, and corporate touchpoints.
Lifecycle, CRM & Retention
Own lifecycle marketing across the complete customer journey.
Develop sophisticated segmentation and personalization strategies based on customer behavior and data.
Improve onboarding, activation, engagement, frequency, reactivation, and retention.
Drive continuous experimentation across messaging, offers, timing, channels, and customer segments.
Partner with Product and Data to identify behavioral signals and turn them into actionable marketing programs.
Ensure lifecycle marketing becomes a meaningful driver of customer LTV and sustainable growth.
Optimization & Analytics
Build a marketing organization where data drives decisions.
Establish clear dashboards and KPIs across channels, campaigns, customer segments, brand health, and the overall marketing funnel.
Regularly analyze performance and identify where resources should be increased, reduced, or redirected.
Develop a rigorous testing framework across creative, audience, channel, offer, landing page, and customer experience.
Understand not simply what happened, but why it happened and what we should do next.
Translate marketing performance and consumer behavior into clear recommendations for Executive Leadership.
Create the measurement frameworks necessary to understand both short-term performance marketing and long-term brand impact.
Product & Partner Marketing
Partner closely with Product to ensure customer insights influence the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
Develop positioning and go-to-market plans for new products, capabilities, markets, and strategic partnerships.
Create programs that simultaneously drive value for
consumers, restaurant partners, and inKind
.
Ensure major launches have clear audiences, messaging, distribution strategies, and measurable success criteria.
Identify opportunities where product capabilities themselves can become powerful acquisition, engagement, and brand-building mechanisms.
Marketing Leadership & Execution
Set the overall marketing strategy while remaining close to the work.
Build, lead, coach, and scale a high-performing marketing organization capable of operating in a hyper-growth environment.
Determine what the marketing organization needs to look like at 2x, 5x, and 10x today's scale.
Establish clear ownership, priorities, goals, and accountability across the team.
Evaluate the existing marketing organization, capabilities, agencies, technology, processes, and investment strategy and determine what needs to evolve.
Manage marketing investment with a strong focus on incremental impact, scalability, and ROI.
Move comfortably between executive-level strategy and detailed campaign, creative, channel, or performance discussions.
Create a culture of experimentation, urgency, creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Who You Are
You've seen hyper-scale:
You have operated inside a company during a period of exceptional growth and understand what needs to change as the organization scales.
You've built brands, not just campaigns:
You understand how a growing company becomes a recognizable, differentiated, market-leading brand.
Strategic and hands-on:
You can build a multi-year marketing strategy and dive into campaign performance the same day.
Commercially minded:
You think about marketing through the lens of revenue, growth, customer behavior, market share, and enterprise value.
Brand + Growth:
You believe exceptional brand building and measurable performance should reinforce each other.
Data-driven:
You're comfortable interrogating dashboards, funnels, cohorts, CAC, LTV, retention, conversion, and channel performance.
Customer obsessed:
You have a deep curiosity about why consumers behave the way they do and what creates genuine brand affinity.
Highly experimental:
You naturally think in hypotheses, tests, results, and iteration.
Builder mentality:
You're energized by building the organization and capabilities required for the next stage rather than simply managing what already exists.
High agency:
When you identify an opportunity or problem, you take ownership and move quickly.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including significant senior leadership responsibility.
Firsthand experience operating through hyper-growth or hyper-scale, ideally within a business that achieved significant national consumer adoption.
Demonstrated experience helping transform a growing company into a market-leading or category-defining brand.
Experience within a high-growth consumer, marketplace, fintech, hospitality, loyalty, e-commerce, or technology business.
Demonstrated success scaling consumer acquisition and retention.
Strong experience across growth marketing, brand, lifecycle/CRM, customer segmentation, and performance optimization.
Proven ability to build and scale high-performing marketing organizations.
Strong analytical capabilities and experience using customer and performance data to drive decisions.
Experience managing significant marketing investments and evaluating channel-level ROI.
Strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first year, you will have:
Established a clear strategy for taking inKind from high growth toward true market leadership.
Significantly increased awareness and consideration of the inKind brand.
Created a clear and differentiated position for inKind within the market.
Built scalable acquisition engines capable of supporting the company's next stage of growth.
Improved customer acquisition efficiency and funnel conversion.
Increased customer activation, engagement, frequency, retention, and LTV.
Strengthened lifecycle, personalization, and customer segmentation capabilities.
Established clear marketing and brand dashboards, experimentation frameworks, and performance accountability.
Built the team, systems, processes, and capabilities required to support hyper-scale.
Created stronger integration between Marketing, Product, Data, and commercial teams.
Put inKind firmly on the path to becoming the market-leading consumer brand in its category.
Why inKind
This is an opportunity to join inKind at an inflection point.
The foundations have been built. The business is scaling rapidly. The opportunity now is to take that momentum and build a brand with national awareness, significant consumer relevance, and category leadership.
We're looking for someone who has experienced that journey before and wants to help do it again—this time with the opportunity to shape the strategy, organization, brand, and growth engine behind it.
You'll have the opportunity to build a marketing organization and brand capable of defining the next stage of inKind's growth - and ultimately help make inKind synonymous with how people discover and experience restaurants.

Introduction to the Team & Role
What if your team was the one that got to build the future of how a company runs — and tried it on itself first?
GTM Systems owns the tech stack behind 360Learning's commercial engine — Salesforce, Marketo, data enrichment and AI tooling across sales, marketing, customer success and services. Our mission is to be a force multiplier for the business: making go-to-market faster, smarter and more effective.
We already have a high-performing team, mature systems, extensive documentation, and an ambitious AI vision. Now we need someone to build on that foundation and take it to the next level.
You'll work closely with GTM leaders, operators, data teams and engineering to turn ambiguous business problems into reliable, scalable products. You'll partner with each team to define the target state — where AI can take work off their plate, and where the human touch matters — then build the systems and agents that get them there.
This is a high-impact role for someone who loves working at the intersection of product, systems, AI and go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibility Areas
Own the internal AI operating model for GTM — the library of skills, agent evals, cost, adoption and ROI — in partnership with Data and Enablement.
Keep the team a step ahead as customer zero for AI, turning what works into patterns other functions adopt.
Own the long-term design of the GTM stack — CRM, marketing automation, CS tooling — deciding what to build vs. buy.
Help the company prioritize by identifying the best solution to each business problem and sizing its cost and feasibility.
Lead and coach five senior ICs across Salesforce, marketing/BDR, CS systems and web ops. Set a high bar for documentation, testing and deployment — and hold it without slowing the team down.
Run vendor management end to end: evaluations, the quarterly keep-or-kill review, and renewals.
Partner as a peer to the leaders of Data, Enablement, Security, Finance and every commercial function.
Drive adoption and change management for new GTM capabilities across distributed teams.
What You'll Do
Within 1 month, you will:
Know the team, the stack, and the cross-functional leaders and teams you’ll partner with
Understand the main business challenges and opportunities for each GTM function
Own the team's current quarterly objectives and the routines that keep them visible.
Within 3 months, you will:
Have taken one major cross-functional change from plan to done
Own the full vendor-renewal cycle across the commercial stack
Have co-written the next quarter's objectives with the performance and enablement teams, each one stating the business problem, the current state, the expected impact and the plan.
Within 6 months, you will:
Have co-written the next quarter's objectives with the performance and enablement teams, each one stating the business problem, the current state, the expected impact and the plan.
Have shipped at least one AI agent that watches business data and reaches people on its own, with a named business owner and outcome measures agreed before launch.
Have a 12-18 month roadmap, setting the high-level vision across our systems infrastructure, ways of working, and AI portfolio
Within 12 months, you will:
Show, in numbers, the capacity the commercial organization reinvested because of what the team built.
Have a development path agreed with each member of the team.
Have the team recognized as the company's reference for AI-native operations
The Skill Set
5+ years across GTM systems, agentic/AI workflow products, revenue technology, enterprise SaaS — or an adjacent path like technical product management or consulting where you designed and shipped real systems with a strong AI mandate.
Turn ambiguous business problems into reliable, scalable tooling — you read a process, tell whether it's any good, spot where AI creates value, and judge when to automate (and when not to), across the full revenue engine.
Have fluency in modern GTM systems: Salesforce, marketing automation, enrichment, routing, attribution, lead-to-quote, billing or customer lifecycle tools. Deep Salesforce fluency is a strong plus.
Have built with modern AI tooling: agents, plugins or skills on top of LLMs, connectors to business systems, and evals that tell you whether an agent is good.
You define KPIs, run experiments, and use data to prioritize where to invest and to measure real impact on pipeline, conversion, efficiency and revenue.
You drive strategic alignment and executive communication — conclusion first, tradeoffs named, complex topics made simple — and you drive change through to adoption.
Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where the first version of the strategy has to be shaped, tested and improved quickly.
Run vendor evaluations end to end
Set and hold standards for documentation, testing and deployment without slowing the team down, and coach senior ICs with care.

Fluent English (US/UK) / B2 level or equivalent (FR).

As a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, we’re part of a proud legacy of innovation and excellence. SIE is a dynamic technology company, delivering cutting-edge hardware and network services to more than 100 million people and an entertainment leader, home to some of the most beloved and recognizable intellectual properties (IP) in the world. Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.
Role overview
We are seeking a Senior Localisation Quality Engineer, a highly skilled and innovative individual who brings together design-phase product thinking, software engineering expertise, localisation awareness, and technical problem solving.
The role builds on the core responsibilities of a Senior Localisation QA Engineer, combining strong localization quality expertise with software engineering, automation, and earlier involvement in the product design and development lifecycle.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked closely with design teams in Figma, has experience reviewing and validating designs before implementation, understands how localisation impacts product and UI design, and can build scalable technical solutions to improve quality across the product lifecycle. You will partner with design, engineering, product, and localisation teams to identify risks early, improve design quality and localisation readiness, and create tools, systems, and solutions that enable faster and smarter delivery.
Rather than focusing only on post-implementation testing, this role emphasises early engagement in the design phase, including reviewing Figma files, prototypes, design systems, user flows, and content structures to ensure they are scalable, testable, and ready for localisation across languages and regions. You will also contribute as a hands-on engineer, building software, automation, integrations, and AI-driven solutions such as agents, assistants, or plugins that improve workflows, validation, and quality decision-making.
The ideal candidate combines strong software development skills, experience working with design systems and Figma-based workflows, practical understanding of localisation and internationalisation, and hands-on interest in engineering solutions to product and quality challenges.
Responsibilities
Design Systems, Figma & Early Product Quality
- Partner with designers, product managers, engineers, and the wider Localisation team to help identify localisation risks early in the design phase.
- Support the Localisation team by reviewing Figma designs and providing technical and design expertise to improve localisation readiness before implementation.
- Help the Localisation team identify and address design risks such as text expansion, truncation, layout issues, bidirectional languages, locale-aware components, and cross-market scalability.
- .Build and improve tools, automation, and processes that enable Localisation QA to identify issues earlier and at scale, including automated design and content validation, screenshot capture, localisation readiness checks, and quality validation across languages and regions.
- Work with the wider Localisation team to define best practices and guidance that help designers and engineers create products that are ready for localisation from the start.
- Collaborate with design teams on design systems, UI patterns, and content structures to improve quality and reduce downstream issues before code is written.
- Help define quality expectations, localisation considerations, and implementation guidance directly from design artefacts and product requirements.
Localisation Quality & Testing
- Perform hands-on Localisation QA testing across multiple languages, platforms, products, and regions, including linguistic, functional, visual, and internationalisation testing.
- Lead and support complex localisation quality initiatives, while contributing directly to day-to-day testing when needed.
- Develop and improve localisation test strategies covering linguistic, functional, visual, and internationalisation quality.
- Investigate complex localisation and internationalisation issues and work with engineering, design, product, and localisation teams to identify root causes and appropriate solutions.
- Help define localisation quality standards and ensure localisation considerations are integrated throughout the product development lifecycle, from design through implementation and release.
Software Engineering & Technical Solutions
- Design and develop software, internal tools, automation, and reusable services that improve product quality, design validation, and workflow efficiency.
- Build scalable software solutions that support validation of product experiences across design, development, and release stages.
- Contribute to codebases, frameworks, and technical infrastructure that improve quality signals, design consistency, and localisation support.
- Partner with software engineers to improve feature readiness, system testability, and quality-by-design practices.
- Integrate validation and quality workflows into modern development environments and CI/CD pipelines where appropriate.
Automation, Tooling & Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve localisation and product quality across design, engineering, and localisation workflows.
- Design and build tools, automation, integrations, or other technical solutions that help teams review designs, validate content, detect issues, and improve workflows.
- Choose the right technical approach for each problem, which may include traditional automation, scripts, plugins, APIs, AI/LLMs, or existing internal tools.
- Develop solutions that help identify localisation and quality issues earlier in the product lifecycle and provide faster feedback to teams.
- Prototype and test new approaches, measure their value, and develop successful solutions so they can be used by the wider Localisation team and potentially other teams.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as a bridge across design, engineering, product, and localisation teams, helping align quality, scalability, and user experience goals.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex issues into actionable recommendations.
- Influence teams toward a shift-left, design-led quality approach.
- Contribute to planning, design reviews, implementation discussions, and release readiness with a focus on preventing issues early.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to members of the Localisation team, sharing engineering, automation, localisation, and quality best practices.
- Promote a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Education
BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Design Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, design technology, quality engineering, localisation engineering, or related product development roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in software development, with the ability to build tools, systems, integrations, or automation that solve real product challenges.
- Experience working closely with design teams and Figma workflows, including reviewing designs, prototypes, component systems, and user journeys before implementation.
- Experience validating or testing Figma designs for quality, scalability, localisation readiness, and implementation feasibility.
- Practical understanding of localisation and internationalisation principles in digital products.
- Experience with localisation quality or testing across multilingual products, platforms, or regions.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
- Hands-on experience building or experimenting with AI agents, plugins, copilots, or intelligent workflow tools.
- Experience with APIs, structured data, system integrations, and modern software development practices.
- Familiarity with developer collaboration tools such as GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and cross-functional delivery models.
Soft Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong product thinking and problem-solving ability.
Comfortable operating across design, engineering, product, and localisation domains.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and effective in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
Desired qualifications
Experience with Figma design systems, component libraries, and design-to-development workflows.
Experience creating or contributing to Figma plugins, design validation tools, or workflow extensions.
Experience building AI agents, assistants, or plugins for design, engineering, content, or localisation use cases.
Experience influencing product quality earlier in the lifecycle through design review and engineering collaboration.
Familiarity with multilingual product development, translation workflows, or international launch readiness.
Experience in video games, consumer technology, digital entertainment, or large-scale product environments.
Fluency in one or more non-English languages is a plus.
What We Offer
The opportunity to shape next-generation quality, localisation, and design-to-development practices.
A dynamic and inclusive workplace where technical excellence, collaboration, and global impact thrive.

About us
Aave Labs began with a simple question: how do we make financial services like borrowing, saving, and earning more accessible globally?
We built the Aave Protocol, now the world’s largest and most trusted onchain lending market, connecting decentralized finance with individuals, traditional finance, and fintech.
Today, we build trusted, high-quality products that expand access to lending, credit, and savings globally
Our culture
We build trusted products that help people access and discover economic opportunities.
We hold a high bar for quality and craftsmanship. No detail is too small. Trust depends on it.
We’re a global team building products people can actually use, turning complex technology into something simple and reliable.
We stay aligned, move quickly, and think long term, while keeping teams lean and focused on impact.
About the Role
We're looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer who operates across the full picture - someone who deeply understands how great web interfaces are built and how they perform, works autonomously, and translates that knowledge into exceptional web products and design systems.
Financial products are complex. Our users range from first-timers to power users, and the challenge of making that experience clear, fast, and trustworthy is one we take seriously. At this level, you're not just executing - you're bringing product intuition to the work, identifying where things break down, and making calls that shape the direction of what we build.
How you can make an impact:
Work autonomously across our web products, building high-quality UI with a strong point of view on how it should feel, function, and perform
Own and evolve complex, reusable components within the Aave design system - setting the standard for quality and consistency
Set the bar for frontend performance, from data loading, fetching and caching patterns through to server rendering and streaming
Bring product-level thinking to everything you work on - understanding user needs, business context, and technical constraints, whilst balancing them well
Collaborate with our talented designers, engineers, and product leads to bring clarity to ambiguous problems
Help raise the bar for the team through the quality of your work and the way you approach problems
Let's connect if you have:
Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, CSS and system design and architecture
Deep experience with frontend performance engineering - measuring it, diagnosing it, and fixing it
Strong command of Next.js patterns for data loading, fetching and caching, and experience handling server rendering and streaming data to the frontend
Deep experience with component-driven design systems and component design patterns, and building for consistency at scale
The product sense to work without a detailed brief - you can identify what needs to be solved, not just how to solve it
A demonstrated ability to take complex UX problems - information-dense interfaces, multi-step flows, edge cases - and make them feel resolved and clear
Nice to haves:
An understanding of backend data handling
A feel for animation best practices when data is updating, and how that plays out in re-renders across a UI
Curiosity about web3 and DeFi is a plus; you don't need to be an expert, but genuine interest in the space goes a long way
Curiosity about AI and its use in product engineering and daily workflows

We build production AI systems for enterprises. Financial services, healthcare companies, PE-backed operators. We are a Select-tier partner in Anthropic's Claude Partner Network, among the first integrators selected.
Every one of those systems has two stories. What we built, and why it changed the economics of the business that bought it. Most technical marketing tells the first and bores the buyer.
We want one person who can tell both, and build things themselves. Not a marketer who uses AI tools. Not an engineer who writes copy. Someone who moves between the two without noticing the border.
What you will do:
Tell both halves of the story. Sit close to the teams shipping these systems, understand what was actually hard, and translate it into video, writing, and demos that travel. Then go a level up: what the system changed for the operator, what it cost, what it replaced, why the CFO signed.
Shape how Provectus is positioned. Not just the case studies but the argument above them. What we stand for, which problems we claim, where we say no. You will have a real hand in that, not a style guide to follow.
Build the tools that make the marketing work. A scraper that watches what our market is saying. An agent that drafts case studies from delivery artifacts. A microsite for a launch. A dashboard showing which stories moved pipeline. You write the code. You do not file a ticket and wait.
Own channels outright. Write, publish, and measure across LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and whatever channel matters six months from now that does not matter today.
Run experiments and kill the ones that lose. Real budget, real autonomy, in exchange for showing your numbers.
What we are looking for:
You have shipped things people used. A side project, a channel with an audience, a tool, a launch. We care more about what you made than where you worked.
You write well, and you have a point of view. You can hold attention for 90 seconds on video and 900 words on a page.
You are curious about how companies make money. You can read a business case and find the part that actually matters. You can sit with a CFO or a PE operator and not reach for features.
You code. Python or TypeScript, comfortably. You use Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent every day and you have opinions about them. You have built something agentic that does actual work.
You are interested in AI for real. You read the papers, or the people who read the papers, and you have changed your mind about something in the last six months.
You are anywhere from your first job to your tenth year. Three levels, one bar: what have you made. If you are early, show us an internship where the bar was high and a portfolio with range. If you are senior, tell us what you built with your own hands in the last 90 days.
You are in New York or San Francisco, or you will be.
What we offer:
Base salary of $80,000 to $180,000 depending on level and location, plus a performance bonus.
Direct access to the people building the systems and the executives selling them. Small team, no layers between you and the work.
A budget for tools, models, and experiments, with no approval chain under a threshold.
Promotion tied to output, not tenure.
401(k) profit sharing plan after probation period
Unlimited PTO policy
Medical, Visual and Dental insurance
How to apply:
No cover letter. Send three links: something you wrote, something you built, and something you posted that got a reaction. One paragraph on why the third one worked.
Then, two sentences on a company whose positioning you think is wrong and what you would change.
Base salary depends on level and location, plus a performance bonus.

✨ ONE PLATFORM, A WHOLE WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY
The best jobs have always clustered in a handful of the world's wealthiest cities. But talent is everywhere. Oyster set out to close that gap - building a global employment platform that lets companies hire, pay, and care for brilliant people anywhere.
We're proof that a high-performing culture doesn't need an office. Distributed across 60+ countries since 2020, we've built something the industry keeps noticing:
- Ranked #10 of 250 on TIME and Statista's 2026 list of America's Top WorkTech Companies https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-hr-named-10-of-americas-top-worktech-companies-of-2026-by-time
- Named one of America's Greatest Startup Workplaces 2026 https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-2026-newsweek-award by Newsweek
- A G2 Spring 2026 Leader https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-named-best-roi-for-any-global-employment-platform-for-g2-spring-2026 across Employer of Record, Global Employment, Multi-country Payroll, and HR Compliance
- The only B Corp-certified global employment platform ~ independently verified since 2023
Two of those rankings measured our business impact from the outside. One measured how our own people feel about working here. They landed in the same place ~ because at Oyster, culture and performance aren't separate conversations. They're the same one.
And we're just getting started. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love for you to apply.
👩💻 THE ROLE
Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster’s positions are fully remote and you can work from home. Forever. To create the best experience for our new hire, this role requires you to be based within UTC−6 to UTC+3.
Oyster’s Data Engineering team is building the foundational AI platform layer that will enable teams across Oyster to develop, deploy, and operate secure, production-grade AI capabilities. As a Senior Data Engineer focused on AI Platform, you’ll work at the intersection of data engineering, platform engineering, and applied AI. You’ll build the data pipelines, services, integrations, and reusable platform capabilities that power AI use cases across Oyster.
You’ll leverage Oyster’s existing AWS and Snowflake data platform to make enterprise data accessible, reliable, secure, and useful for AI, supporting capabilities such as LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, AI agents, tool calling, and AI workflows.
This is not a traditional data engineering role focused primarily on analytics pipelines or reporting. You’ll help define and build the data and platform foundations that let AI systems move from experimentation to reliable production, working closely with Engineering, Product, IT, and other teams across Oyster.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build data pipelines and platform capabilities that support AI applications, knowledge systems, and AI workflows.
- Build and maintain data and knowledge pipelines for ingestion, transformation, chunking, embeddings, retrieval, vector search, metadata, and knowledge management.
- Develop secure, reusable ways for AI systems to access enterprise data and systems using APIs, MCP, tool calling, and similar patterns.
- Build reusable services, libraries, frameworks, and developer tooling that make it easier for engineering teams to build and productionize AI capabilities.
- Apply strong data engineering practices around data modeling, data quality, lineage, access, reliability, and governance to AI-related data and systems.
- Help establish patterns for AI deployment, observability, evaluation, and lifecycle management, including quality, latency, reliability, security, and cost.
- Partner with engineers and stakeholders to take AI use cases from prototype to production, ensuring the underlying data and infrastructure are scalable and maintainable.
- Ensure AI platform capabilities meet Oyster’s security, privacy, access control, and data governance requirements.
- Evaluate emerging AI and data technologies and determine where they can create meaningful value for Oyster.
Core Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, backend engineering, ML engineering, or a related discipline, with experience building and operating production systems.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Strong data engineering fundamentals, including data pipelines, data modeling, data quality, orchestration, and secure data access.
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or comparable modern data platforms, and tools such as dbt, Airflow, or similar.
- Hands-on experience building or supporting production systems using LLMs / generative AI.
- Practical experience with one or more of RAG, embeddings, vector search, tool/function calling, AI agents, or enterprise knowledge systems.
- Experience building data or platform capabilities that are reusable across teams, rather than only developing one-off solutions.
- Experience taking systems from experimentation to reliable production, including considerations around scalability, observability, performance, and maintainability.
- Solid understanding of security, authentication/authorization, privacy, and data governance, particularly in the context of enterprise data.
- Strong communicator who can work across Engineering, Product, and IT to turn ambiguous AI and data problems into practical engineering solutions.
Bonus
- Experience with AWS Bedrock or other managed foundation-model platforms.
- Hands-on experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar approaches for connecting AI systems to enterprise tools and data.
- Experience with LLM evaluation, observability, monitoring, or AI quality.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with vector databases or search technologies.
- Experience implementing AI security, governance, or responsible AI practices.
- Experience building internal developer platforms, SDKs, APIs, or reusable infrastructure for engineering teams.
- Experience working across data engineering and AI/ML platform environments.
YOU'LL ALSO NEED
- A reliable home internet connection (or be able to get one).
- Fluent English language skills.
