Role Summary:
Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), the company behind PlayStation, is seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Senior Director, Corporate Security & Crisis Management to lead and continue evolving our global corporate security function.
Reporting to the SVP, People & Places Operations and Strategy, this leader will be responsible for safeguarding our people, assets, and business operations through proactive security strategies, comprehensive crisis preparedness, and effective risk management.
This is an opportunity for a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in complexity, exercises sound judgment, and brings the confidence to make difficult decisions. We're looking for someone who can build on an established foundation while continuing to elevate our security capabilities, develop our people, and strengthen partnerships across the business. This leader will bring a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach to security - one that prioritizes employee safety while enabling the organization to operate confidently, efficiently, and without unnecessary restrictions.
The ideal candidate combines deep security expertise with strong business acumen, executive presence, and a personable, collaborative leadership style. They understand that effective security leadership requires balancing risk with business objectives, knowing when to adapt and when to hold firm.
What You'll Be Doing:
Global Security Strategy & Operations
Lead and evolve SIE's global corporate security strategy, aligning security priorities with organizational objectives and emerging business risks.
Oversee global physical security, travel security, event security, and Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) operations.
Establish scalable security standards, policies, and processes across a complex, multinational organization.
Assess existing programs and identify opportunities to strengthen operational effectiveness, consistency, and organizational resilience.
Crisis Management & Business Continuity
Lead the development and execution of global crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity programs.
Provide calm, decisive leadership during critical incidents, including natural disasters, workplace violence, cyber-related incidents, and other business disruptions.
Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to coordinate effective responses, communicate risks, and support business recovery.
Drive organizational readiness through crisis simulations, training, and continuous improvement.
Enterprise Risk Management & Governance
Apply a risk-based, proportionate approach to security decision-making, balancing employee safety, business continuity, and operational needs.
Provide practical, evidence-based recommendations to executive leadership, distinguishing between material threats and risks that can be appropriately managed through existing or enhanced safeguards.
Establish clear risk thresholds, escalation protocols, and governance practices that enable informed, timely business decisions.
Partner with business leaders to develop security solutions that support workplace accessibility, operational effectiveness, and organizational objectives.
Leadership & Organizational Development
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global corporate security team.
Continue building organizational capabilities, strengthening accountability, and raising standards across the function.
Foster a culture of collaboration, sound judgment, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Build trusted relationships across Legal, IT, Facilities, HR, and other business functions, serving as an approachable and credible security advisor.
Operational Excellence & Executive Partnership
Oversee security service providers, external partners, budgets, and resource allocation.
Establish meaningful performance measures and provide executive leadership with clear reporting on security trends, risks, incidents, and strategic initiatives.
Develop security awareness and preparedness programs that promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Influence and challenge constructively when necessary, ensuring critical security considerations are understood and appropriately addressed.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred) or equivalent experience.
Progressive experience in corporate security, crisis management, or business continuity, including at least five years in a senior leadership capacity.
Demonstrated experience leading global corporate security operations within a large, complex, multinational organization.
Deep knowledge of physical security, risk assessment, incident response, crisis management, and business continuity.
Experience overseeing security technologies, systems, and operational programs.
Proven success building, transforming, or meaningfully elevating security programs, teams, or organizational capabilities.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and organizational levels.
Demonstrated sound judgment in ambiguous, high-pressure situations and the confidence to make and defend difficult decisions.
An approachable, collaborative leadership style combined with a strong sense of accountability and conviction.
Experience managing budgets, external vendors, and cross-functional security initiatives.
Additional Experience That Would Be Valuable
Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), or equivalent.
Experience within technology, gaming, entertainment, or other fast-paced, evolving industries.
Broad international experience, including an understanding of regional security risks, regulatory considerations, and cultural nuances.
Experience modernizing or scaling security operations in an evolving global business environment.
Leadership Qualities That Will Set You Apart
You're a leader who can see both the big picture and the operational details. You recognize that security isn't simply about preventing risk - it's about enabling the business to operate confidently and responsibly.
You bring conviction without rigidity, confidence without ego, and the ability to build meaningful relationships while holding a high bar for performance.
Above all, you're energized by the opportunity to build, improve, and lead a function that continues to evolve alongside the business.

About Us:
Tabby is on a mission to give people power over their money. For too long, financial systems have worked for the institutions that built them, not the people using them. Runaway interest, fine print and limited access have left many behind, feeling shut out of a system that wasn't setting them up for success.
We're building a different kind of system—in a complete money app to send, spend and save. One that's clear, flexible and puts people and businesses in control. Founded in 2019, we serve customers and businesses across Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. Millions of customers and 65,000 global brands, government services and small businesses rely on us today.
What began as a better way to pay at checkout has grown into a financial system working the way it should have all along.
About the Role:
The role supports and independently delivers key elements of the business continuity and operational resilience programme across Tabby's UAE entities, helping the business understand which services must keep running, how long they can be disrupted before customers are harmed, and whether the firm could recover within that time. The role works closely with first-line owners across the business and supports the firm's response to regulatory expectations on operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of the business continuity and operational resilience programme across both UAE entities, in line with Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) expectations and the Group risk framework.
Run the business impact analysis cycle with departments — gathering, challenging and consolidating what each team does, what breaks if it stops, and how quickly.
Support the identification of critical operations and the setting of impact tolerances, working with first-line owners and senior management.
Develop and maintain business continuity and recovery plans, dependency mapping and crisis playbooks, keeping them current, practical and usable.
Coordinate and support the exercise and testing programme, including tabletop exercises, and document outcomes, lessons learned and follow-up actions.
Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of business continuity and operational resilience policies, standards and methodologies.
Contribute to resilience reporting for senior management, risk committees and the regulator, including maturity and self-assessment positions.
Support third-party and technology dependency work where it affects the resilience of critical operations.
Provide practical support to first-line owners on business impact analyses, recovery objectives, continuity planning and remediation actions.
Act as a point of contact for internal audit and support regulatory or external reviews relating to business continuity and operational resilience.
Support ERM governance and tooling, including use and administration of GRC tools, maintenance of documentation, committee materials, action trackers and audit-ready evidence.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
2–4 years' experience in business continuity, operational resilience, operational risk or a related role within Financial Services, FinTech, Payments or another regulated environment.
Practical working knowledge of business continuity and resilience concepts — business impact analysis, recovery objectives, continuity planning and testing — with the ability to apply them pragmatically.
Awareness of regulatory expectations for operational resilience; familiarity with CBUAE requirements or an equivalent regime is an advantage.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to run workshops and interviews with department heads and to challenge the answers constructively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing clear plans, reports and presentations.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

About this role
We are currently planning for a significant increase in scale, and we are building the People function that can carry it.
This is our first senior talent management role. Today we have pieces of talent management programs and processes in place, but not yet a function. You will build one: an intentional approach to how we onboard, develop, and retain our people. That covers performance management and its link to pay, manager and leadership development, learning, onboarding, talent planning and succession, employee listening and engagement, and culture and values.
The first year is weighted toward four priorities: joining the redesign of our performance system early, alongside the Head of People, and owning it as it moves into execution, as we move to pay for performance, revamping onboarding ahead of our next wave of hiring, planning our values retreat for senior leaders, and getting a read on employee listening and engagement. As those take shape, the balance shifts toward the longer-term build: the vision and roadmap for the function, a foundational manager program, talent planning and succession, and the team around you.
The reason for this weight: the performance system and onboarding are our most acute gaps today, but they should not be construed as a ceiling of the job. We are hiring a senior talent management leader who can shape the whole function over several years, not the owner of one or two programs. If your instinct on reading this is that the performance redesign is the whole job, this role probably isn’t the right fit, and the reverse is also true: if you want to set strategy but not build the first versions yourself, year one will frustrate you.
What you’ll do
Build the talent management function
Within your first 90 days, assess what exists today across these areas, recommend the sequencing for the first year, and agree to it with the Head of People.
Set the vision and multi-year roadmap for talent management across the areas it covers, and sequence the work against the People roadmap.
Propose the team around it, and decide what we build in-house and what we buy or borrow.
Connect talent management to workforce planning, compensation, and recruitment, in partnership with the Head of People, Finance, and function leaders.
Build an approach to talent and succession planning, starting with critical roles: work with leaders to identify succession gaps, assess potential successors, and put development plans in place to prepare people for future opportunities.
Own the performance system
Join the performance system redesign early, alongside the Head of People, and own it as it moves into execution: a system that produces reliable, calibrated outputs to inform merit increases, connected to our new salary bands.
Make the system worth using, not a check-the-box exercise: one that helps managers hold better performance and development conversations and gives employees clarity on expectations, feedback, and growth.
Build calibration and the data around it so ratings and merit decisions stay consistent and fair across countries, currencies, and manager quality.
Set a clear global standard for handling low performance that doesn’t default to a misconduct process, and equip managers to use it.
Ensure the performance system helps managers identify and support sustained high performance, connecting it to recognition, development, and career growth opportunities.
Iterate the system through multiple cycles, using calibration, outcome data, and feedback from managers and employees to improve it.
Build how people join, learn, and are led
Revamp onboarding ahead of our next wave of hiring: own the content and experience for new hires and their managers, working with People Ops on process and systems.
Build a foundational manager program and the tools behind it: feedback, coaching, difficult conversations, and performance management.
Extend into leadership development and broader learning as the function matures.
Shape culture and listen to employees
Plan the values retreat with an external facilitator and our executive sponsor, and own what carries into daily work afterward.
Get a read on listening and engagement today, covering what we hear, where it goes, and what should change, and use it to build our employee listening strategy.
What this role is not
Not a recruiting role. Hiring sits with our Talent Acquisition team. You partner with them on the handoff into onboarding and on how we assess and develop talent once people are here.
Not the owner of compensation design. Pay structures and bands are set through our compensation work. You own how performance is assessed and how ratings connect to pay decisions.
Not an employee relations or casework role. Cases in country belong to managers and HR Managers, supported by the People team. You own the performance system and the manager capability that helps them handle concerns well.
Not the owner of HR systems or process administration. Onboarding workflows and our HRIS sit with People Ops. You own the content and the experience.
Who we’re looking for
Required
7+ years in talent management, performance, or organizational design roles, including time leading a function or a major part of one.
You have designed a performance system, not only administered one. You can show how ratings connected to pay and what you changed after the first cycle.
You have kept a rating and pay system fair across contexts with different currencies, labor markets, and manager quality.
You are a hands-on builder. You have built talent management programs and systems from scratch, or close to it, in a start-up or scale-up: performance, onboarding, manager development, or a whole function, where what you needed did not exist and you built it while the volume was already arriving. We are not looking for steady-state operating experience, or for leaders who have overseen this work without building it themselves.
You think in systems. You can show how a change in one part of a talent system, such as ratings, calibration, pay, promotion, or onboarding, shows up in the others, and you reason from the underlying problem rather than copying another organization’s template.
You design with change management in mind from the start. You plan for how managers and employees in different countries and cultures will adopt a new program or system as part of the design, not as a rollout step afterward, and can show how you knew it stuck rather than being worked around.
You have deep experience in at least two of onboarding, manager development, and employee engagement or listening, and working experience in the third. You have built programs and content people actually used, and can show how you knew they worked.
A track record of joining a major project already in motion, taking it over, and working through disagreement with a senior partner, and of influencing without formal authority in a matrixed organization.
Judgment and prioritization. You decide what slips and say so plainly.
Preferred
Experience in a mission-driven or international organization, ideally alongside high-growth commercial or tech experience.
Experience working across multiple countries, including sub-Saharan Africa.
Experience working with external facilitators, consultants, or vendors, and knowing what to hand off and what to hold.
Comfort using data (survey, performance, calibration) to make decisions, and knowing when the numbers mislead.
Exposure to compensation design or close work with a total rewards team.
Professional French or Portuguese.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's Safeguards team plays a critical role in ensuring our AI systems are deployed safely, responsibly, and in line with our values.
As an Incident Manager, you will manage Safeguards incidents involving our AI systems from declaration through closure. You will assess severity, bring in the right people from Legal, Communications, Policy, Threat Intelligence, Security, Engineering, and research teams, keep leadership informed, and see follow-up work through. You will also oversee the Safeguards Enforcement on-call queue on a rotating basis, and help build and scale the incident response program, including runbooks, post-incident reviews, and automation of routine work.
Important context for this role: in this position you may be exposed to and engage with explicit content spanning a range of topics, including those of a violent, sexual, or psychologically disturbing nature. This role also includes after-hours and weekend incident coverage on a rotating basis.
Key responsibilities
Serve as incident commander for Safeguards incidents from declaration through closure
Assess what qualifies as an incident, propose severity, and coordinate responders across Legal, Communications, Policy, Threat Intelligence, Security, Engineering, and research teams
Keep everyone working from the same facts by tracking input from each team, establishing what is known, what has changed, and what is still open, and sending regular updates that executives and partner teams rely on
Make sure Legal, Communications, and Public Policy are consulted before decisions that need them, and coordinate any external notifications
Run post-incident reviews, assign action items to named owners, and track them through closure
Oversee the on-call queue during your rotation as the first responder for urgent requests and escalations to Safeguards Enforcement
Triage each request, resolve what you can, route the rest to the owning team, and recognize when a request is the start of an incident
Take part in after-hours and weekend incident coverage on a rotating basis
Scope and deliver projects that improve the incident response program, such as on-call automation, incident readiness, and post-incident reviews and metrics
Draft and maintain runbooks and standard operating procedures
Work with Safeguards engineers to automate or reroute requests by writing the decision rules and testing the result
Maintain the incident record and the metrics that show leadership how the program is performing
Minimum qualifications
Experience running incidents or urgent escalations from start to finish in trust and safety, security, platform integrity, crisis management, or a comparable field, and readiness to lead high-severity incidents with support
Hands-on experience with incidents where someone was abusing or misusing a product or platform, such as account compromise, fraud, or coordinated malicious activity
Ability to make clear decisions under time pressure, record your reasoning, and recognize when a decision belongs to Legal, Policy, or leadership
Ability to write short, accurate updates that an executive can act on and that hold up to legal and external scrutiny
Experience coordinating people across many functions who do not report to you, securing their commitments, and following through on them
Experience improving an operational process on your own initiative, and the ability to tell which steps need a person and which can be automated
Willingness to do hands-on queue work as a regular part of the job, and to treat it as a source of information about what is breaking
Ability to participate in after-hours and weekend incident coverage on a rotating basis
Preferred qualifications
Experience joining an incident response function early and helping write runbooks and review processes
Experience with incidents involving AI systems
Experience with the enforcement steps that follow an incident, such as account actions, law enforcement referrals, or user and customer notifications
Experience working with threat intelligence or security investigation teams during an incident
Experience with regulatory or external incident reporting and disclosure
Experience running an on-call rotation or support escalation queue, including setting and measuring response targets
Experience using AI tools to automate triage, summaries, or routine decisions, with checks on quality
Working knowledge of SQL or similar tools for analyzing incident and queue data
Experience designing and facilitating tabletop exercises
Genuine interest in AI safety and responsible technology development

Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.

To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.

If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

on what that will take.
About this role:
We believe technology will play a critical role in enabling the next generation of cash delivery operations: from identifying recipients without needing to knock on doors to a modern payments infrastructure that gets dollars in recipients’ hands faster and more scalable. We are seeking a Technical Program Associate responsible for implementing and managing the technology used across our programs - including systems for recipient data collection, verification, payments, and monitoring.
In this role, you will own all technology-related aspects of new project launches: working with our operations team to define and implement program requirements, project managing the implementation across multiple stakeholders, and analyzing, structuring, and acting on program data. You are a systems thinker who is comfortable assessing tradeoffs and deriving and communicating data-driven insights. You enjoy learning about technology in a variety of business contexts. You naturally take ownership, can navigate unfamiliar settings, and enjoy both building and managing ops. You can excel at both 10,000 feet as well as in the weeds of complex problems.
Reports to:
Senior Technical Program Manager
Level
: Open to Associate or Manager, depending on the candidate. We would rather find the right person than fill a predetermined level. A candidate with deeper experience, stronger technical skills, and the judgment to run their own projects and think critically and propositionally on project designs will be brought in at the higher end, with correspondingly more independence.
Location:
At this stage of GiveDirectly’s growth and scale, we’re prioritizing hiring in the countries below, where we can employ you through a GD entity or an established employer of record: Cameroon, Canada, Colombia, DRC, Germany, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Rwanda, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, Uganda, United Kingdom, and United States. This list reflects where our employment infrastructure is established today, and may evolve as we grow. If you’re based elsewhere and not open to relocation, we may not be able to consider your application for this role right now, but we’d encourage you to check back. Please also note that regardless of location, we expect 3 hours of daily overlap with the East Africa timezone.
Travel Requirement:
Must be able to travel ~1-2 times per year to one of our countries of operation for team retreats or field visits.
What you’ll do:
Manage end-to-end technical delivery for program launches - leading scoping, requirements gathering, system configuration and implementation, QA and testing, troubleshooting, and closeout
Collaborate with Operations, Product, Research, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure systems are aligned with program objectives and work seamlessly in field conditions
Debug and resolve issues across multiple layers of our technology stack, including our recipient database and offline survey app
Scope and manage cross-cutting systems improvements to improve efficiency, scale, and/or recipient experience, with mentorship
Ensure all systems comply with GD’s standards for data protection, privacy, and financial controls
Manage technical training and onboarding for operations staff and collaborators
Lead retrospectives on program launches and technical incidents to contribute to continued system improvements
What you’ll bring:
Exceptional alignment with
GiveDirectly Values
and active demonstration of our core competencies: emotional intelligence, problem solving, project management, follow-through, and fostering inclusivity. We welcome and strongly encourage applications from candidates who have personal or professional experience in the low-income and/or historically marginalized communities that we serve.
Language Requirement: fluent in English.
3+ years of professional experience; we welcome a wide range of relevant backgrounds (e.g. project management, product management, data analytics, international development, management consulting)
Strong data skills: able to leverage tools to extract, clean, manipulate, and analyze data to make operational decisions.
Strong project management experience: experience in managing timelines, stakeholders, and complex deliverables.
Deep comfort with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
Intermediate experience using a programming or scripting language (most commonly Python at GD) to automate workflows, validate data, or implement business logic. Note: This is not an engineering or data science job.
Significant interest in technology, systems design and building.
High attention to detail and strong instincts for analysis and validating data creatively and rigorously.
Structured approach to problem-solving and a drive to uncover and fix root causes rather than surface-level issues.
Ability to collaborate inclusively with stakeholders across varied social, national, and cultural backgrounds, including communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred, not required
: Experience working with relational databases (e.g. SQL).
Preferred, not required: Proficiency in one or more languages spoken in the countries where GiveDirectly operates (e.g Swahili, French, Portuguese). These skills are beneficial for working directly with field teams and understanding recipient experience.
Compensation
At GiveDirectly, we strive to pay our employees generously and equitably. We use an accredited third party salary aggregator to calculate what we believe to be competitive pay based on role, location, and cost of living. We also have a no negotiation policy to ensure we are paying staff equitably across roles. Read more about our compensation philosophy

ABOUT SUPABASE
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Traditional PR is fading — we go directly to our audience. This role brings together what used to be two separate seats, communications and social media, into one mid-to-senior, hands-on role: owning Supabase's voice in the channels where developers actually pay attention, and building our founders' presence in them.
"New media" here means modern and direct, not traditional press — we care far more about getting our founders onto the right podcasts and YouTube channels than landing a New York Times placement. It's part comms, part social operator, with a sharper edge than a typical polite PR hire: someone willing to put an opinion out there and push a little rather than always play it safe. But it's not just a social media job either — this person also needs the poise and technical credibility to lead comms through genuinely high-stakes moments, like a major incident, where reporters, investors, and customers all need a calm, credible, technically fluent voice at the same time.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Make sure we're part of the current conversation and are going directly to our audience — new media over old-world press
- Own and execute our new media strategy
- Run and grow Supabase's X + LinkedIn accounts, hands on keyboard
- Help build the accounts of our founders and team — including ghostwriting in their voice
- Explore and exploit unconventional channels and formats
- Book our cofounders on the most known shows, podcasts, and YouTube channels in our space
- Work directly with DevRel and the PMM team on launches and Select
- Manage comms around incidents, funding, and other high-stakes moments — crisis comms handled with poise and technical credibility (this is key)
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
- Are an excellent writer with a distinctive voice — equally strong posting as yourself and ghostwriting for others
- Have a track record of growing accounts, ideally for a technical audience
- Unconventional thinker — willing to put an opinion out there and push a little, with the judgment to know when
- Seasoned enough for the serious moments — incidents, funding, press — calm, credible, and technically fluent
- High agency — you're probably already doing a version of this somewhere scrappier
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.
- ESOP
Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together.
- Tech Allowance
Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work.
- Health Benefits
Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us.
- Annual Off-Sites
Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year.
- Flexible Work
We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when.
- Professional Development
Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. We believe our globally distributed team is our secret weapon in building tools developers love.
- ~400 team members
- 60+ countries
- 20+ languages spoken
- Over $1B raised (including our $500M Series F)
- 540,000+ community members
We move fast, build in public, and use what we ship. If it’s in your project, we probably use it in ours too. We believe deeply in the open-source ecosystem and strive to support—not replace—existing tools and communities.
