ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for an Employment Counsel to join Ramp's Legal team. This is a generalist employment role with broad scope. You will handle U.S. employment counseling as your base load, cover non-U.S. jurisdictions as needed, and own immigration and global mobility. You will partner directly with People, Talent, Total Rewards, Finance, Tax, Equity Admin, Compliance, and business leaders, and you will manage outside counsel in jurisdictions where we do not hold the expertise in house. We are a small, high-leverage team supporting a company that moves quickly, so you will cover a lot of ground and be trusted to run matters independently.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Day-to-day employment counseling: Advise People partners and managers on hiring, worker classification, compensation, leaves and accommodations, performance management, discipline, separations, and more
- Immigration and global mobility: Collaborate with the People team on the immigration program, including work authorization outside the U.S. Set and communicate the sponsorship policy, manage outside immigration counsel and case volume, and partner with Talent on offer-stage decisions. Support relocations, cross-border remote work requests, and business travel, and work with Finance and Tax on permanent establishment and mobility tax exposure
- Investigations: Collaborate with the People team on internal investigations and advise on findings and outcomes
- Disputes: Handle demand letters, agency charges, arbitrations, and litigation with outside counsel
- Agreements and templates: Own offer letters, employment agreements, separation and release agreements, contractor and consultant agreements, restrictive covenants, and the local-law variants of each
- Transactions: Support employment and immigration diligence, employee transitions, and post-close integration for M&A and new-market entry
- Build for scale: Produce manager training, policies, self-serve guidance, and repeatable processes as we expand in the US and globally
WHAT YOU NEED
- 5+ years practicing employment law, with a combination of top law firm and in-house experience at a high-growth technology company
- JD from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (New York or California preferred)
- Deep U.S. employment counseling experience across the full employee lifecycle, including wage and hour, leaves and accommodations, investigations, performance management, and separations
- Working knowledge of employment law outside the U.S. and the judgment to triage a cross-border question quickly
- Hands-on experience with U.S. business immigration and global mobility, including running a sponsorship program and managing immigration counsel at volume
- Demonstrated ability to independently run multiple time-sensitive matters
- Exceptional written and verbal communication. You can turn an employment law question into guidance a manager can act on in one reading
- High judgment on sensitive and confidential matters, and the steadiness to advise on them under time pressure
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and processes are still being built, and a bias toward action
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience at a fintech, payments, or regulated financial services company
- Experience standing up employment infrastructure in a new country, including EOR-to-entity transitions and works council or employee representative consultation
- Employment experience across EMEA, APAC, LATAM, or Canada
- A track record of using AI or automation to eliminate manual legal work
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
The team
Mistral is building a sovereign AI cloud for Europe. Customers in finance, healthcare, and the public sector run frontier models on European-jurisdiction infrastructure, and the IaaS group builds the layer they stand on: Kubernetes, networking, and storage, running on our own bare metal.
European Compute Units let enterprises commit to multi-year capacity on that infrastructure, and we are scaling toward a gigawatt of compute across Europe by 2030. The org hires about ten engineers a month, and this group carries one of the largest shares.
The Role
You will lead three teams: Managed Kubernetes, Network, and Storage. Managed K8s and Network run today, each with its own lead. Storage is yours to build: charter, first lead, first hires, first systems in production. The group is about a dozen engineers today and roughly doubles this year.
Your reports are team leads. The work is direction, staffing, and the seams between the teams: where Kubernetes meets the network, where both meet storage, and where the group meets the metal underneath. You stay technical enough to challenge architecture calls and to know when to trust the people making them.
This is a second-line seat for an engineer who moved into management to build world-class organisations. Opportunities like this don’t come up often.
What You Will Do
- Own delivery and health across three teams' roadmaps. Projects ship with the reliability that finance, healthcare, and public-sector workloads demand.
- Manage and grow team leads. Set the standard, hold it, and grow the ones who want your seat one day.
- Build the Storage team from zero: define its charter (object and block storage, capacity planning, tiering, backup), hire its lead and engineers, and put the first systems into production.
- Own the seams: architecture that crosses Kubernetes, network, and storage, and the boundary with the fleet and hardware-design groups below you.
- Partner with Product Managers to set priorities and make the tradeoffs between what customers need now and what the platform has to become.
- Hire. Your group carries a big block of the org's openings; you build the machine that fills it and onboards people fast.
- Raise the engineering bar through mentoring, feedback, and the standard your leads copy.
What We're Looking For
- You have led multiple engineering teams in production infrastructure as a second-line manager. Managing managers, running several teams at once, is the experience we need.
- Your ground is orchestration: you have run Kubernetes or compute orchestration at real scale, shipped systems in Go, and worked on Linux itself, below the managed-service layer.
- You know network and storage well enough to challenge specialists and tell a sound design from a lucky one.
- You are comfortable next to hardware. This group runs on Mistral's own metal, and you will work with the fleet and hardware teams every week.
- You have built a team from nothing: written the charter, made the first hires, shipped the first system.
- You have grown leaders, not only engineers. People you managed now run teams of their own.
- A low-ego, team-first mindset.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.
For the most up-to-date details on benefits available in your location, please refer to our Benefits page https://app.notion.com/p/mistralai/Benefits-at-Mistral-36e6ba59a7fe836b93dd01737fcc27ef?source=copy_link.

ABOUT SENTRY
Software runs the world and the pace is faster than ever. Sentry helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice, so teams can spend less time firefighting and more time building.
Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll join the team behind Sentry’s Size Analysis and Snapshots, two products that check every pull request before it ships. Size Analysis breaks down iOS and Android builds to explain why an app got bigger. Snapshots catches unintended visual changes by diffing screenshots against a baseline. Both run in our customers’ CI, report straight to Source Code Management providers, and handle some of the heaviest payloads at Sentry: multi-GB app binaries and builds with tens of thousands of images.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
You’ll work full-stack with a backend lean, owning features from the moment a build arrives from CI, to the moment when UI engineers use that data to decide whether to merge. You’ll own the codebase behind our mobile binary analysis and large-scale image comparison. You’ll share the pipeline, the GitHub integration and on-call with the rest of the Sentry team.
- Build and tune the backend services and task-based pipelines that ingest, analyze and compare builds, with large artifacts in object storage, fast and reliable on multi-GB binaries and changesets with tens of thousands of screenshots
- Extend our product: own the functionality end-to-end, react on feedback and come up with proposals for further product development.
- Own the GitHub integration end to end: PR status checks, comments, approvals and webhooks, including races, duplicates and missing-baseline edge cases
- Ship frontend features such as treemaps, build comparisons and diff viewers that stay fast on huge datasets
- Run what you build: deploys across regions, metrics, logging and on-call, and be the person who debugs the weird customer build
YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF YOU
- Want your work to show up in the pull requests our customers open every day, not buried in a dashboard nobody checks
- Like problems with real weight: a multi-GB IPA, tens of thousands of screenshots in a single build, a binary format with sparse documentation
- Would rather own a feature from upload to UI than hand off half of it (end-to-end ownership)
- Enjoy building for developers, who will tell you exactly what’s wrong and why
- Want to help two products that started at a startup grow into core parts of Sentry
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years building production web services, with strong Python (Django preferred) and a habit of typed, tested code
- Working proficiency in React and TypeScript, enough to ship a full feature without handing off the frontend
- Experience with async task systems and event pipelines (Kafka, task queues, worker pools), including idempotency, locking, retries and their failure modes
- Experience with Postgres schema design and migrations that work under rolling deploys, plus pragmatic rollout habits like feature flags and revertable changes
- A track record of performance work: profiling, parallelism, memory reduction and large-file streaming through object storage
- Bonus points for:
- Hands-on experience with mobile build artifacts and tooling (LIEF, bundletool, apksigner, link maps, DWARF, code signing)
- Image processing or pixel-diff tooling
- GitHub Apps or the Checks API
- Data visualization, especially treemaps
- Prior work on developer tools, CI or observability products
We are obliged by law to quote the minimum wage of EUR 60,844,-- gross per year for this position, in accordance with the respective collective agreement (IT-KV). The salary that Sentry offers you is adjusted to the current market situation and will be above the IT-KV.
A successful candidate will be eligible to participate in Sentry’s employee benefit plans/programs applicable to the candidate’s position (including incentive compensation, equity grants, paid time off, and group health insurance coverage). See Sentry Benefits https://sentry.io/careers/ for more details about the Company’s benefit plans/programs.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AT SENTRY
Sentry is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to its employees and candidates for employment regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, veteran status, or other legally-protected characteristic. This commitment includes the provision of reasonable accommodations to employees and candidates for employment with physical or mental disabilities who require such accommodations in order to (a) perform the essential functions of their jobs, or (b) seek employment with Sentry. We strive to build a diverse team, with an inclusive culture where every teammate can thrive. Sentry is an open-source company because we believe that everyone, everywhere, should have the ability and tools to make great software. Software should be accessible. That starts with making our industry accessible.
If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, you may contact us at accommodations@sentry.io.
