We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Preferable to have someone near one of our offices in NYC or San Francisco, but open to hiring around the US for the right candidate.
Join the frontier of shaping generative AI video and its legal landscape as an early lawyer at Runway wearing multiple hats. As AI Product & Partnerships Counsel, your mission is to enable the company to ship better products faster and accelerate product and data partnerships and other go-to-market deals. You are a self-starter who thrives at getting things done in fast-paced, unstructured environments. You have a passion for building scalable initiatives across our product and commercial legal workstreams.
You will serve as a strategic partner to product, engineering, partnerships, sales, marketing, and the Runway Executive Team. Comfort working within a highly technical, rapidly evolving area of the law is a must.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Accelerate AI product development and integrations by building playbooks and streamlining legal review of partnership deals, including data partnerships, IP and model licensing, procurement, reseller, and marketplace agreements
- Accelerate AI product adoption by closing deals with Runway’s strategic partners and customers. These include B2B SaaS customer contracts for our generative AI SaaS platform and APIs, DPAs, and order forms.
- Dive into the technical aspects of our generative AI products to learn them inside and out, to inform your advice to the business
- Closely follow (and even shape) technical, legal, and policy developments in AI and translate them into practical product guidance
- Implement practices allowing our legal team to scale our impact on the business, including enablement, self-serve resources, and AI-enabled automation
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 6+ years of relevant experience, including in-house experience at a fast-paced technology company
- Experience advising product development leaders and executives across a broad range of issues, especially IP and privacy
- Experience closing partnership and go-to-market deals, such as data partnerships; IP and model licensing; robotics, hardware, and compute agreements; reseller; and other partner, customer, and vendor deals
- Experience providing practical recommendations to senior leaders with limited time and information
- Sound judgment in ambiguity: track record of gathering key information quickly and helping the business make smart decisions
- Deep sense of ownership, whether you're advising our CEO on a novel legal issue or testing your new AI-enabled workflow for the nth time
- Bias for action: why put something off if you can do it now?
- Demonstrated interest in AI, creative tools or both
- J.D. and admission in good standing with at least one state bar
NICE TO HAVE
- Generative AI models and agentic workflow understanding and interest
- Experience closing strategic, IP-heavy partnerships
- Experience in B2C and B2B industries and in product-led and enterprise businesses
- Experience closing B2B SaaS customer deals
- Big Law and/or hypergrowth tech startup experience

Webflow is the agentic web marketing platform for modern marketing teams, helping organizations build, manage, and optimize high-performing web experiences that drive predictable growth and strengthen brand trust. Building at Webflow will need grit, because we move fast, without ever sacrificing craft or quality.
We’re looking for a Senior Counsel, Commercial Transactions to join Webflow's Commercial Legal team. This is a hands-on, high-variety role. One day you're closing an enterprise MSA at quarter-end. Next you're negotiating a reseller agreement, structuring terms for a new technology partner with our BD team, tightening our API and marketplace terms, or updating a playbook after closing a complex deal. You'll own a steady flow of deals from start to finish and be the main POC to our impactful and growing Corporate GTM team, and you'll be the person the team counts on to jump in wherever the business needs it most.
You'll work closely with Sales, Partnerships, RevOps, Procurement, Finance, Product, Security, and Privacy to get deals done and counsel our internal stakeholders with sound, risk-balanced judgment. You'll also help scale Webflow's partner ecosystem and keep our contracting frameworks current as Webflow builds out agentic and AI-powered capabilities. This role suits a commercially pragmatic lawyer who knows which points matter, trades the rest well, and is energized by the pace and ambiguity of a high-growth, sales-led company.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Location: Remote-first (United States)
- Full-time
- Permanent
- Exempt
- The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. We've structured the base pay ranges for this role into zones for our geographic markets, and the specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.
- United States (all figures cited below are in USD and pertain to workers in the United States)
- Zone A: $183,300 - $220,000
- Zone B: $171,700 - $206,000
- Zone C: $161,700 - $194,000
This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program. Target amounts are a percentage of base salary and vary by career level. Payouts are based on company performance against established financial and operational goals.
Please visit our Careers page https://webflow.com/careers#pay-zones for more information on which locations are included in each of our geographic pay zones. However, please confirm the zone for your specific location with your recruiter.
- Application Information:
- Application deadline: applications accepted on an ongoing basis until position is closed and filled
- This posting is for an existing vacancy
- Reporting to the AGC, Head of Commercial Legal
As a Senior Counsel, Commercial Transactions you’ll:
- Independently negotiate and close a high volume of customer agreements across SMB, mid-market, regulated, and large enterprise segments, including MSAs, Order Forms, DPAs, SLAs, NDAs, and AI addenda.
- Support Webflow's partner ecosystem end to end: draft and negotiate agreements with agency and solution partners, technology and integration partners, resellers and channel partners, and referral partners, including program terms, co-selling and co-marketing, revenue share, and referral fees.
- Work with Partnerships and BD teams to structure, launch, and scale partner programs, keeping partner-facing templates, flow-downs, and program terms aligned with our customer paper.
- Advise on API, developer, and marketplace terms (including terms for app developers and template creators), working with Product so our terms match how our platform and AI features actually work.
- Review and negotiate vendor agreements, including SaaS, AI-enabled tools, and services, in partnership with Procurement, Security, and Privacy.
- Maintain and improve templates, playbooks, fallback positions, and enablement materials so deal teams can handle routine issues themselves.
- Serve as a go-to escalation point and provide hands-on training and enablement for Sales, Partnerships, and Deal Desk, with clear, practical guidance that weighs revenue impact, risk, and precedent.
- Pinch-hit across the team: cover colleagues' deals, get in the trenches with our Trust & Safety team on Security and Privacy issues, and roll up your sleeves as the business evolves.
- Use AI tools and our contracting stack to speed up your end to end work product, with proper guardrails for accuracy, reliability, and confidentiality.
ABOUT YOU:
Requirements:
- Admitted and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 7+ years of post-qualification experience, including a combination of law firm training and at least 2 years in-house supporting revenue-generating teams in a hyper-growth, fast-paced tech environment.
- A demonstrated track record of independently drafting, negotiating, and closing B2B SaaS/PaaS agreements, including DPAs and privacy terms, as well as vendor and partnership agreements, in close partnership with Sales, Procurement, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience supporting a partner ecosystem, such as channel/reseller, referral, technology/integration, agency, or marketplace programs.
You’ll thrive as a Senior Counsel, Commercial Transactions if you:
- Are a low-ego team player that likes to roll up your sleeves and jump in wherever needed, whatever the scope or visibility of the work.
- Are commercially pragmatic: you can secure the best overall deal for Webflow without winning every point, prioritizing what matters and trading the rest.
- Understand how partner economics and incentives work, and can design terms that scale across a program rather than one-off deals.
- Bring growth-enabling, risk-balanced judgment and know when to escalate.
- Are comfortable being uncomfortable: you make sound calls with incomplete information and adapt quickly as priorities shift.
- Are AI-fluent and systems-savvy, with hands-on experience in a CLM (Ironclad or similar), DocuSign, Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Slack.
- Communicate plainly and can coach sales reps, partner managers, and other stakeholders to handle routine issues on their own.
- Stay curious and open to growth — demonstrating a proactive embrace of AI, and actively building and applying fluency in emerging technologies to elevate how we work, drive faster outcomes, and expand collective impact.
OUR CORE BEHAVIORS
- Build lasting customer trust. We build trust by taking action that puts customer trust first.
- Win together. We play to win, and we win as one team. Success at Webflow isn't a solo act.
- Reinvent ourselves. We don't just improve what exists, we imagine what's possible.
- Own it all the way. We move fast because the moment demands it, and we hold ourselves accountable to deliver outcomes — for each other, and for customers.
BENEFITS
- Ownership in what you help build. Every permanent Webflower receives equity (RSUs) in our growing, privately held company.
- Health coverage that actually covers you. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans for full-time employees and their dependents, with Webflow covering most premiums.

- Monthly stipends that flex with your life. Localized support for work and wellness expenses — from Wi-Fi to workouts.
- Bonus for building together. All full-time, permanent, non-commission employees are eligible for our annual WIN bonus program.
Temporary employees may be eligible for paid holiday and time off, statutory leaves of absence, and company-sponsored medical benefits depending on their Fixed Term Contract and their country/state of employment.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As part of our growing Data Science and Analytics team, you will play an instrumental role in our company’s mission of building safe and beneficial artificial intelligence by driving data-informed decision making across our organization. You bring experience from high-bar teams and are eager to help shape the norms and best practices of a growing data science team as Anthropic continues to scale. Frame the most important and ambiguous questions facing the business, size the opportunities, and make clear recommendations, including when they challenge the current direction
Define how Core Apps measures success, establishing the core metrics and measurement frameworks that align teams and leadership on what matters
Set the standard for experimentation and causal inference across Core Apps, and personally lead the highest-stakes analyses

Have extensive experience in data science, including leading analytics for a product area at significant scale
Have 3+ years managing data science teams, including setting team direction and developing senior data scientists
Have been a trusted partner to senior product and business leaders, with clear examples of changing a roadmap or high-stakes decision

Communicate clearly in writing and in presentations, including to executive audiences
Have a bias for action and thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where you must create clarity and drive progress

Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:

Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

At Adapty, we make it easy for mobile apps to manage in-app purchases and paywalls. We power 20K+ apps, process $3B+ in subscriptions every year, and have been growing fast for the last four years. Our mission is simple: make apps rich.
We are a team of 210+ passionate, product-driven people who love solving big challenges. Backed by top investors like 500 Startups and Surface Ventures, we are building one of mobile's fastest-growing SaaS companies and aiming for number one worldwide.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Adapty and FunnelFox run 100+ events a year — conference sponsorships, side events, dinners, webinars — with a budget in the high six figures. Events are one of our biggest marketing lines, but there's no clear strategy behind them and nobody owns what they return. We're moving away from sponsoring other people's conferences and building our own: closed events for large customers, community formats, regular city meetups — and our own flagship conference. We're hiring the person who owns this: decides which formats we run and why, makes them scale, and makes every event pay for itself fast.
You'll work hand in hand with Sales and set priorities for an Event Operations team that handles execution, so your time goes into formats, targeting and results — not logistics.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and own the event strategy for Adapty and FunnelFox: a portfolio of formats, each with a clear purpose, audience, target payback and cadence
- Get the portfolio to pay back
- Launch and run our own flagship annual conference
- Make go/no-go calls on every event from numbers; cut what doesn't pay back, scale what does
- Design new formats — dinners, roundtables, side events, own meetups, online — that can scale across cities
- Fill every event with the right people: invitations, promotion, partners — you own registrations, show-up rate and the share of our target customers in the room
- Run the pipeline motion with Sales: target account lists, pre-booked meetings, follow-up SLAs
- Build event attribution and reporting in HubSpot and review it with Sales every week
- Set priorities for the Event Operations team
ABOUT YOU
- 3+ years owning B2B event or field marketing with a budget and a revenue target
- You know the ROI of your past events — cost, meetings, pipeline, closed-won — without looking it up
- You've cut events that didn't pay back and scaled ones that did
- You've built at least one event format from scratch that grew
- Comfortable with CRM attribution (HubSpot or Salesforce) and building your own reports
- You chase follow-up with Sales instead of handing over a lead list
- Fluent English, happy to travel a lot
NICE TO HAVE
- You've launched your own conference from scratch
- Mobile apps, ad tech, MMP or B2B SaaS selling to developers and founders
- A network among app founders and growth leads
- Selling sponsorships for your own event
- Events across several regions (US, EU, Asia)
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
- Strong product with industry-best metrics. Adapty is among the top 5% fastest-growing SaaS companies.
- Exceptional compensation directly tied to your results.
- Direct communication and ownership. No bureaucracy, no politics, just impact.
- Flexible remote work. Join us from anywhere or work onsite in our Belgrade or London offices.
- Professional support. Language learning, sports, health insurance, laptop coverage, and more.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Claude is trained and served on hardware in data centers Anthropic operates and in sites partners build and run for us. DCSE secures that footprint: the sites, the hardware moving through them, and the people and vendors who touch it. You'll be the engineer who owns autonomous systems across that footprint as one security domain, from both sides: drones, ground robots and automated vehicles for patrol, inspection and moving hardware, including the security of that automation inside secure areas, and the detection systems that tell us what is flying over or operating near a site uninvited.
You set the approach, select and integrate the platforms and sensors, write the requirements vendors build to, and run what you ship, from the operating model where operators assign missions and machines carry them out to the playbook that turns a detection into an identified track and a well-evidenced handoff to whoever holds authority over the airspace. Interdiction is not part of this role. The goal is security that runs itself: coverage, fleet health and evidence verified continuously, with tools and AI agents doing the routine triage. We favor simple, standard controls and tools that can be verified over elaborate ones. We use Claude throughout our engineering workflow and expect you to as well.
You'll work with the rest of DCSE, including its physical security systems engineers and the engineers on its security monitoring platform, with Anthropic's data center operations and legal teams, and directly with site operators, equipment vendors and aviation and public safety authorities. The role is based in San Francisco, with remote applicants in the US considered, and involves regular travel to data center sites, which are critical infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Autonomous security and inspection systems:
own the drones, ground robots and other autonomous platforms for perimeter patrol, incident response and infrastructure inspection: platform selection, operating model, operator qualification, maintenance, and the data path from machine to analyst
Tools, automation and AI agents:
build the integrations that carry detections, tracks, telemetry and fleet health into the team's security monitoring platform, and the tools and agents that triage detections, check fleet health and assemble evidence. When a review keeps costing people time, you build the tool or agent that retires it
Detection of uncrewed systems:
engineer the sensing that tells us what is flying over or operating near a site, what it is and who needs to know: sensor selection and evaluation against live targets, per-site coverage, classification and false-alarm handling, and the playbook from first detection to handoff, with evidence retained
Security of site automation:
engineer the controls on automated vehicles, robots and similar machines that move hardware or work inside secure areas: identity and access, network isolation, what they may record and where it goes, fail-secure behavior, their place in chain of custody, and acceptance before they enter a site
Regulatory and site constraints:
establish what we may sense, fly, drive, record and retain at each site, partner-operated sites included, under the aviation, spectrum, privacy and safety rules that apply there, with the waivers and approvals that extend it and coordination with local authorities set up before it is needed
Health monitoring:
define and test heartbeats, loss-of-coverage and lost-link alarms and fail-secure behavior, so a silent sensor or machine shows as a fault, not a quiet day
Vendor requirements and acceptance:
write the requirements, evaluate against live flights and runs, and hold vendors to what they ship
Minimum qualifications
Have engineered autonomous or sensing systems in the field (drones, ground robots, automated vehicles, or RF, radar or optical detection sensors): selected, integrated or secured them for an operation other people relied on, and verified what they actually do against real targets or runs rather than a datasheet
Have integrated systems you did not build (vendor APIs, SDKs, appliances, machine and sensor telemetry) into a platform that outlives any one of them
Read and review code, design the data systems behind security tooling, and build automation (often with AI coding agents) using Git and code review
Have done this work hands-on for data centers, critical infrastructure or a large hardware fleet
Have designed inside a regulatory or safety constraint (aviation, spectrum, privacy, machine safety or similar) and can show the decision it drove
Own a domain end to end: set the approach, carry it through with vendors, site operators, partners and authorities, and run it as something people depend on every day
Preferred qualifications
Remote pilot certification (for example FAA Part 107) and experience flying beyond visual line of sight under a waiver or exemption
Experience with counter-drone (counter-UAS) detection, airspace surveillance or air traffic data systems
Experience running a robot, drone or automated-vehicle fleet in an industrial, logistics or data center setting: fleet management, mission planning, safety cases
Experience securing embedded, operational technology or robotic systems: device identity, network segmentation, update control, logging
Experience with physical security operations at large sites, with law enforcement or aviation authorities, or at sites you did not fully control: cloud, colocation or GPU cloud operators
Have built AI agents or automation that replaced recurring manual work

AI has the power to dramatically accelerate the pace of scientific discovery and the development of healthcare interventions. Alongside the models and tools we build for scientists, Anthropic’s life science research teams now run their own wet lab experiments. We’re hiring a life sciences patent counsel to work side-by-side with our researchers as they work to advance biomedical progress.
You will manage patent strategy and filings for our life sciences research, from the first conversation with a scientist through global prosecution. You will also be our in-house expert on the patent questions, many of them new, that arise when scientists use AI as a research tool. You will partner closely with our patents lead (direct manager), the Head of IP, Research Legal, our Life Sciences Counsel, and outside counsel to design and implement a patent program that supports our researchers and partners and is aligned with the company’s mission.
Responsibilities
Manage patent strategy and filings for Anthropic’s life sciences research in the U.S. and internationally, including invention harvesting, filing decisions, drafting oversight, prosecution, and management of outside counsel
Serve as the trusted patent advisor to our life science research teams, and design and implement scalable guidance and processes to support our fast-growing life science efforts
Make inventorship determinations for AI-assisted research, and advise on inventor declarations and the duty of candor
Develop claim and filing strategies across biological and chemical inventions, platform technologies, and computational methods, accounting for written description, enablement, eligibility, and obviousness
Partner with Research Legal and Communications on the timing of publications, preprints, presentations, and open-source releases
Advise on the patent aspects of agreements with life science and biopharma counterparties, including ownership of inventions and improvements, and support patent diligence and freedom-to-operate analyses for our research
Anticipate emerging legal developments affecting AI technologies in the life science and biopharma space and provide strategic guidance to leadership
Minimum qualifications
Hold a law degree (JD, LLB, or equivalent) and meet the local licensing requirements to work as in-house counsel where you'll be based
A degree or equivalent training in a life sciences or chemistry field (for example, molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, bioengineering, or organic chemistry)
Substantial hands-on experience drafting and prosecuting U.S. life sciences patent applications, and directing foreign prosecution through local counsel
Lead responsibility for a patent portfolio, including managing budget and outside or foreign counsel
Experience making inventorship determinations and resolving ownership questions in multi-party research arrangements (for example, with universities and other partners)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate legal risk into practical guidance for scientists, researchers, and business partners
A low-ego, high-empathy orientation and a “doer” attitude: willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in where needed
Intense curiosity about AI and science, and a commitment to responsible AI development
Preferred qualifications
10+ years of patent experience (including time as a patent agent, technical specialist, or examiner) at a law firm, a biotech or pharmaceutical company, or both, with the ability to operate independently and hit the ground running
Advanced degree in a life sciences or chemistry field
Experience with AI/ML companies, or with inventions at the boundary of biology and machine learning
Working knowledge of how patents interact with regulatory exclusivity, trade secrets, and open science
Familiarity with biosecurity, dual-use research, or export control considerations in the life sciences
Experience leveraging AI to optimize their work, with a desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex AI capabilities into clear, compelling narratives for technical and business audiences

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role:
We are looking for a Strategy & Planning Lead to join our Revenue Operations team. In this role, you'll be a key partner to the Director of Sales Planning and Strategy, going deep on the analytical foundations that power how Vercel plans, staffs, and quotas its go-to-market organization. You'll own the models that translate revenue targets into headcount, ratios, and quota — and as Vercel completes its transition to a consumption-based revenue model, you'll help design how we set and ramp quotas in a usage-based world. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who wants to build the analytical backbone of a fast-growing GTM org.
What you will do:
Build and maintain Vercel's GTM capacity model — connecting headcount plans to attainment probability and revenue target coverage across Sales, SAs, BDRs, and other supporting roles
Develop and operationalize the concept of a "minimum deployable unit" — the unit of supporting roles needed per rep/segment — and use it to inform hiring sequencing and investment scenarios
Own ramp curve, attrition, and productivity assumptions by segment, and use them to model longer-term headcount and investment scenarios for leadership review
Partner with the Director on quota-setting methodology, with particular focus on consumption-based quota design — how usage-based revenue signal translates into fair, attainable quota and ramp assumptions
Support the "leading indicators back from quota" analysis — translating quota by segment into pipeline coverage requirements and activity benchmarks
Build and maintain quarterly planning deliverables — quota-setting proposals, coverage model updates, and headcount recommendations
Track plan vs. actual on headcount, capacity, and quota attainment throughout the year; flag divergence early and model the revenue impact
Partner with Finance, Recruiting, and Data & Analytics to validate assumptions and ensure planning models are grounded in real data
About you:
6+ years of experience in revenue/sales operations, strategic finance, or a similar analytical GTM function at a high-growth SaaS company
Strong track record building headcount, capacity, or ratio-based staffing models tied to revenue targets
Experience with quota design and ramp modeling — ideally including consumption- or usage-based quota structures
Excellent quantitative and modeling skills
Comfortable operating with ambiguity — able to build a defensible model from incomplete data and clearly explain the assumptions behind it
Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to translate complex modeling into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders
A builder's mindset — you'd rather build the framework than run point on day-to-day execution
Bonus if you:
Have direct experience with consumption-based or usage-based revenue models, especially quota and compensation design in that context
Have worked in developer tools, infrastructure, or cloud platform companies
Have a point of view on how automation or better tooling can improve planning and modeling workflows
Benefits:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $175,000 - $205,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.

Fin
, now part of Salesforce, is on a mission to help businesses provide perfect customer experiences.
Our AI Agent Fin is the highest-performing AI Customer Agent on the market today, enabling businesses to deliver impeccable, always-on customer support across the customer journey, from service, to sales, to ecommerce. Powered by our own AI models, Fin resolves complex customer issues end-to-end across every channel, with minimal set-up and integration. Fin can also be combined with our natively integrated Intercom help desk, giving modern support teams one single system.
Together with Salesforce, the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success, we're building the future of customer experience. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword, it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing, and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI.
Ready to level up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place. Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
What's the opportunity?
We’re looking for a proven operator to redesign how Customer Support works across Human and AI Support. Fin is an AI-first support organisation, and our processes should reflect that: you’ll have a genuine licence to rethink, rebuild or retire existing processes from first principles, not just refine them. This is a hands-on and strategic role: you keep day-to-day operations running well and fix what is broken, while building a long-term process strategy for the whole of Customer Support. You will also help embed Continuous Improvement, using conversation and quality insights to decide what we fix, retrain and prioritise next.
Support at Fin changes constantly, and our processes need to keep pace with this level of change. The right candidate is exceptionally customer-focused, comes from a customer-facing background, and has experience leading and managing processes and workflows in a large organisation. You bring clear opinions and recommendations, work with a high degree of autonomy, and hold the line on the customer experience when working with other teams. You combine exceptional project management and attention to detail with a data-driven mindset and a proven ability to influence and collaborate at every level of the organisation.
What will I be doing?
Strategy and ownership
Challenge and, where warranted, completely redesign existing processes and ways of working: you won’t be constrained by ‘how we’ve always done it’, and you’ll have the support of Customer Support leadership to make bold changes
Own and evolve the framework for reviewing, prioritising and implementing Customer Support processes and workflows across Human and AI Support, so every change improves the customer experience
Build and maintain a long-term process strategy and roadmap for Support, balancing quick wins and immediate fixes with strategic improvements
Own the long-term Continuous Improvement strategy for Support, setting priorities and a roadmap that cover both Human and AI support
Bring clear proposals and recommendations to leadership, and act on them with autonomy
Partner with teams outside of Customer Support to design processes that work end to end, agreeing clear ownership, handoffs and shared goals so the customer experience holds across team boundaries.
Process design and improvement
Analyse current processes across Human and AI Support and decide whether each should be improved, redesigned from scratch or removed entirely. Where AI and automation can fundamentally change how the work gets done, lead that transformation rather than layering them onto legacy workflows
Own day-to-day operational process fixes and keep existing processes effective
Design and roll out new or improved processes, solo or with SMEs, partnering closely with Customer Support leaders and ICs in every region so processes work globally, not just for one region
Design and implement process control metrics, and monitor process performance and KPIs
Use data to find where processes are failing, size the opportunity and prove the impact of changes, building and maintaining dashboards and reports that give leaders a clear view of process health across Human and AI support
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Continuous Improvement
Maintain and iterate on the Continuous Improvement framework, using insights from both Human and AI support to drive improvements, across Enablement, Quality, AI support, etc.
Turn insights into a prioritised improvement backlog, with clear owners across respective internal teams
Track whether each improvement worked, using before-and-after measures such as repeat contact rate, resolution rate and CX
Turn customer conversation data into clear, actionable insights for Product, Engineering and other teams, giving them evidence to shape priorities and roadmap decisions
Stakeholders and delivery
Hold the line on the customer experience with cross-functional partners, challenging constructively when a proposed change would compromise the customer
Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain processes and related training
Take full ownership of large, cross-functional special projects that improve the customer experience, increase teammate efficiency and engagement, and drive company goals
Communicate and engage on all process and continuous improvement changes with Customer Support and the wider organisation
What skills do I need?
Experience:
4+ years in Customer Support or a customer-facing role, including 2+ years in process management or continuous improvement and 2+ years in project or program management
Strong technical capability:
You are hands-on and credible in a complex SaaS tech stack, including CRM systems such as Salesforce. You can configure workflows, integrations and automations yourself rather than relying on others to build them. Experience with system integrations or process harmonisation is a bonus.
AI and automation:
Proven track record of using AI and automation to drive improvements, ideally in an AI-first or SaaS support organisation. Knowledge of Fin (previously Intercom) is a strong advantage.
Improvement frameworks:
Strong knowledge of process and continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)
Data and strategy:
You analyse data, turn it into clear insights for stakeholders, and build a long-term process strategy and roadmap that becomes practical, prioritised plans
Ownership:
A self-starter who delivers complex programs with minimal guidance, forms a point of view and brings proposals rather than questions
Influence:
Confident and credible with senior leaders and cross-functional partners. You challenge constructively and hold the line on the customer experience.
Collaboration:
Strong communicator who builds rapport quickly with technical and non-technical colleagues and involves frontline teammates early

As common patterns emerge, you’ll partner with our Platform & Tooling and Infrastructure teams to build reusable capabilities that make future AI builds faster and safer.

Integrate AI applications with enterprise systems and data sources across GTM, Finance, People, Support, and internal APIs
Build evaluations and feedback loops to measure accuracy, reliability, and business impact before and after AI solutions reach production
Design deterministic guardrails, human-in-the-loop controls, and approval patterns for workflows where AI systems take business-critical actions
Build production-ready systems with strong observability, failure handling, security, authentication, authorization, and auditability
Identify reusable patterns across individual AI projects and build them out as shared components and capabilities in partnership with our Internal AI platform teams
Help define how Figma approaches Applied AI engineering and scales AI adoption across the company
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
5+ years of software engineering experience building production applications, integrations, backend systems, or AI-powered products
Hands-on experience building applications with LLMs, agents, retrieval-augmented generation, function calling, schema-constrained outputs, or evaluation frameworks
Experience taking an AI application or workflow beyond a prototype and operating it in a production environment
Strong API, integration, and system design fundamentals, with experience connecting applications across multiple systems and data sources and strong engineering judgment about when to apply AI and when a rules-based approach is the right choice, and experience designing reliable production systems with appropriate observability, failure handling, authentication, authorization, and security controls
Experience working directly with non-engineering stakeholders to understand ambiguous business problems and translate them into technical solutions and ability to move quickly from discovery to prototype while understanding what is required to safely and reliably productionize a solution
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
A background building internal AI applications or working in an Applied AI, Forward Deployed Engineering, or AI Solutions Engineering role
Experience with MCP, agent orchestration frameworks, and enterprise tool-calling patterns
Knowledge of AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar AI platforms
Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Workday, NetSuite, Greenhouse, or Slack

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE ROLE
The Field CTO role is one of Mistral's senior external technical voices; a role for someone who has earned genuine credibility in the AI field and can engage enterprise boards, CIOs, and CTOs as a peer. You will shape how strategic accounts think about their AI strategy, represent Mistral at major industry events, and publish thought leadership that reflects a real point of view on where AI is going.
You will work closely with regional sales leadership across your territory and bring what you learn from executive conversations back into Mistral's product direction. This is an externally-facing, influence-driven role. The output is measured in relationships built, content published, and executive conversations that move.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Executive engagement
Run Mistral's Executive Briefing Center with your regional VP; a selective program for C-level stakeholders at strategic accounts. Build and sustain trusted-advisor relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and VP Engineering across your territory.
Thought leadership
Publish regularly: articles, whitepapers, and analysis of where enterprise AI is heading. Brief Gartner and Forrester on Mistral's roadmap and market position. Track frontier research and bring it into customer conversations.
Conference and event presence
Represent Mistral at major industry events through keynotes, panels, and roundtables. Build a public presence that generates inbound interest from enterprise executives and the wider AI community.
Market feedback
Bring what you hear in executive conversations back into product direction. Patterns across accounts on governance requirements and deployment constraints should reach the people building the models.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Demonstrable credibility in the AI field. A public track record in AI: published papers, articles, or talks that reflect a clear, defensible position. Your work should read as credible next to Mistral's technical brand.
- A stated position on open-weight models and what they change for the enterprises adopting them. Your existing public positions should sit comfortable next to Mistral's.
- You are fluent in European data sovereignty and on-premise deployment, at the level that holds up with a CTO or VP Engineering asking hard questions.
- You are comfortable engaging C-level stakeholders across multiple verticals on technical architecture and business strategy, in the same conversation.
- Cross-vertical fluency, you can credibly engage across financial services, manufacturing, defense, and energy without being a domain specialist in any one of them.
- 10–25 years of experience in enterprise technology. You have held roles such as: Field CTO, Principal Architect, or VP Engineering at a major cloud or AI company, or a founder who built technical credibility and executive relationships through their own company.
- Comfortable with 30-50% travel depending on your region.
NICE TO HAVE
- Existing network of CTO and CIO relationships at enterprise accounts in your region
- Prior Field CTO or equivalent externally facing technical role at a major cloud or AI company
- Fluent in multiple languages spoken across your region
