Location: Americas; APAC; EMEA Workplace: Remote RevenueCat gives app businesses the infrastructure and tools to build, run, and improve their monetization. Since graduating from YC's S18 batch, we've grown into the default monetization platform for mobile. We're in 50%+ of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $16B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo developer to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue. We're a remote-first team of 150+ people across 25+ countries, guided by values we actually practice: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance. This isn't the right fit for everyone. The systems you’ll build here manage billions of dollars and touch hundreds of millions of end users, and we don’t take that lightly. You'll be expected to work hard and hold a high bar for what you ship, alongside some of the sharpest, most driven people you've worked with. If that sounds energizing rather than exhausting, keep reading. THE ROLE As Senior Product Manager, Ad Monetization, you'll join a small product and engineering team building RevenueCat's next generation of monetization products for app developers. Ads at RevenueCat are early, but we’re no longer starting from zero. We’ve launched ad revenue tracking and rewarded-ad infrastructure, with strong early adoption. Our next chapter is helping developers earn more from ads: building products that connect publisher inventory with demand, improve monetization performance, and make ad monetization easier to adopt and operate. You'll report to our product lead for Ads and become the primary IC product owner for ad monetization. You'll own significant parts of the roadmap end-to-end: understanding customer problems, identifying opportunities, forming hypotheses, working closely with engineering and design, shipping quickly, and using what we learn to determine what comes next. This is still a fast-moving initiative with significant strategic latitude. We're specifically looking for someone who has built ad monetization products for mobile apps, ideally at a mediation platform, ad network, SSP, or similar company serving app publishers. You should already understand the ecosystem well enough to contribute a strong point of view while remaining willing to challenge your assumptions as we learn. ABOUT YOU: - You have 5+ years of experience owning product decisions end-to-end. Your title may have been Product Manager, founder, or something else — what's important is that you've been accountable for deciding what to build and whether it worked. - You've built and shipped publisher-facing ad monetization products for mobile apps, and have firsthand experience solving the product, technical, and business problems involved in helping developers monetize ad inventory. - You deeply understand the mechanics of mobile ad monetization, including how publisher inventory, demand sources, auctions, pricing, mediation, and measurement interact. - You understand the incentives of the different participants in the ad ecosystem and can reason about both the technical and commercial implications of product decisions. - You are excited about RevenueCat's mission to help developers make more money and about expanding that mission beyond subscriptions. - You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are excited to take an initiative with early traction and help turn it into a significant product area. - You are sufficiently technical to work closely with engineering on SDKs, APIs, integrations, data flows, and other technical product decisions. - You have demonstrated the ability to ship and learn quickly, including finding pragmatic solutions to hard problems with many constraints. - You are comfortable operating with ambiguity, making decisions under uncertainty, and taking responsibility for the outcomes of those decisions. - You communicate clearly across different audiences and media, particularly in writing. IN THE FIRST MONTH, YOU'LL: - Build a deep understanding of what's live today, including ad revenue tracking, rewarded-ad infrastructure, and virtual currency and entitlement flows. - Spend significant time talking with customers using these products to understand what's working, what isn't, and where the biggest opportunities may be. - Build strong working relationships with your engineering, product, design, data, and go-to-market counterparts. - Develop context on our existing strategy, customer research, technical architecture and the hypotheses behind our current roadmap. - Begin contributing your own perspective on where RevenueCat should invest next. WITHIN THE FIRST 3 MONTHS, YOU'LL: - Take ownership of a meaningful portion of the ad monetization roadmap. - Work closely with engineering to identify the fastest and most effective ways to validate our next set of product hypotheses. - Ship or meaningfully advance your first product bets. - Establish a strong understanding of the opportunities, constraints, and tradeoffs that should shape our roadmap. - Effectively collaborate with senior stakeholders on priorities for the area. WITHIN THE FIRST 6 MONTHS, YOU'LL: - Independently drive product discovery, prioritization, and execution across your areas of the ad monetization roadmap. - Have shipped meaningful improvements for customers and developed clear signals about what we should invest in next. - Have a documented point of view on where RevenueCat should be headed in ad monetization over the longer term and what capabilities we'll need to get there. - Have materially improved RevenueCat's understanding of the ad monetization vendor ecosystem, customer needs, competitive landscape, and relevant industry trends. - Be recognized internally as a domain expert who can help the broader company reason about advertising and monetization. WITHIN THE FIRST 12 MONTHS, YOU'LL: - Be the primary IC product owner for RevenueCat's ad monetization products. - Have shipped products that create measurable monetization value for our customers and establish a meaningful new growth opportunity for RevenueCat. - Have a credible, evidence-backed view of RevenueCat's longer-term opportunity in ad monetization and a roadmap for pursuing it. - Have shipped enough meaningful bets that you've also stopped, changed, or deprioritized something when the evidence showed it wasn't delivering the value we expected. WHAT WE OFFER: - Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator - 10-year window to exercise vested equity options - A fully remote environment designed around autonomy and flexibility - 4-5 weeks of flexible time off annually - Paid desk at a co-working space - Workspace budget and continuous learning stipend INTERVIEWING AT REVENUECAT Our interview process is rigorous on purpose. We want to be sure that everyone we bring on is genuinely excited about this work, aligned with how we operate, and ready to meet our high bar for performance. Curious what that actually looks like? The structure is new. The experience behind it is not. Responsibilities Own the product strategy and roadmap for an institutional crypto infrastructure business, working closely with the Founder and leadership team. Act as a strong product and market counterpart to the Founder: challenge assumptions, develop independent points of view, and support product decisions with market evidence, customer insights, and data. Identify opportunities, move fast to test them, launch what works, skip what doesn't Lead products from 0→1 — from identifying the market problem and defining the proposition through MVP, first customers, commercial launch, and iteration. Translate complex technical infrastructure into products that solve real institutional customer needs and have a clear commercial model. Make informed product and architecture trade-offs involving technologies such as MPC, multi-signature, HSM, private key management, and blockchain infrastructure. Develop a strong understanding of the competitive landscape across custody technology providers, regulated custodians, prime brokers, liquidity providers, and institutional trading infrastructure. Own the commercial side of product decisions, including pricing, revenue models, unit economics, market sizing, and business cases for new products. Work closely with enterprise customers and commercial teams to understand institutional requirements, validate product-market fit, and support complex sales and integration cycles. Incorporate regulatory and compliance requirements into product architecture, workflows, customer experience, operating models, and go-to-market strategy. Build the initial product team and operating model, including hiring the first key team members, defining responsibilities, and establishing effective product processes. Partner closely with Engineering, Compliance, Sales, Operations, and other functions to take products from concept to production and commercial adoption. Define product KPIs and use customer, market, product, and commercial data to evaluate performance and prioritize investment. Requirements Market + tech depth (Strong general product management experience without relevant domain depth will not be sufficient) Experience in senior B2B product roles, with significant experience in fintech, digital assets, or crypto infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the institutional crypto market and its underlying technology. Strong general product management experience without relevant domain depth will not be sufficient. Demonstrated experience personally building at least one product from 0→1, from an initial market problem or idea through launch, customer adoption, and/or revenue. Deep expertise in at least one of the following areas: Digital asset custody and private key management Liquidity management and prime brokerage Blockchain payment infrastructure Tokenization and settlement Strong understanding of institutional crypto infrastructure and the differences between technology providers, regulated custodians, prime brokers, liquidity providers, and trading technology platforms. Ability to combine technical understanding, customer insight, market knowledge, and commercial data to make clear product decisions. Comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership and ambiguity in a founder-led environment. Location: San Francisco Workplace: OnSite ABOUT US: AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL. Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now. Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale. We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation. Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience. THE ROLE: Modal's LLM inference platform delivers frontier performance https://modal.com/blog/kimi-k3-by-moonshot-now-available-on-modal for open-source models with best-in-class elasticity and developer experience, made in part possible by our custom runtime with GPU memory snapshots https://modal.com/blog/gpu-mem-snapshots and multi-cloud substrate https://modal.com/blog/resource-solver. We're looking for a leader to own the direction and execution of this platform to continue to establish us as the clear market leader, working closely with customers like Cognition, Doordash, Ramp, and many more. You'll be leading a group of highly talented engineers working on our market-leading LLM inference offering, spanning the serving stack, routing infrastructure, internal agentic optimization platform, and the user-facing product surface area. This is a hands-on leadership role — expect to split your time between technical contribution, product shaping and people management depending on what the team needs. You'll set direction, remove blockers, and build a strong engineering culture as your team tackles hard problems in distributed computing, frontier inference serving, and performance optimization. WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON: Team - Recruit, hire, and grow a high-performing team of engineers; run regular 1:1s focused on coaching, feedback, and career growth - Set clear performance expectations, hold a high bar, and build an environment where engineers do their best work - Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, customer obsession, and continuous improvement Technical and Product Direction - Drive technical and product decisions through design reviews, code reviews, and architectural discussions - Lead our efforts working with customers with novel or frontier workloads so they can be successful running on Modal - Translate learnings from frontier customers into a roadmap for our internal optimization platform and user-facing product, so that gains from optimization and research efforts are accessible to all of our users - Establish standards for reliability and product excellence; ensure the team owns projects end-to-end, from spec through production Cross-Functional Leadership - Partner with business operations and compute strategy on continuing to develop our strategy for compute purchases across a variety of accelerators - Collaborate with GTM on product launches, positioning, and improving win rates for inference opportunities - Help guide the roadmap for teams building the infrastructure platform underlying inference, as well as adjacent product teams YOU MAY BE A FIT IF: - You have 10+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role - You have a track record of building high-performance systems at scale - You have a strong background in cloud infrastructure - You have deep knowledge of low-level OS foundations (Linux kernel, file systems, containers, etc.) NICE-TO-HAVE: - Experience working with LLM inference in production - Familiarity with underlying concepts like engines, kernels, routing, KV cache management, and speculative decoding
