About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
Anthropic's Safeguards team is responsible for enforcing our policies, protecting users, and ensuring our platform is not misused. As a Safeguards Enforcement Analyst focused on Safety Evaluations, you'll play a central role in ensuring our models meet safety and policy standards before and after launch. You'll run and monitor evaluations, drive mitigations when issues surface, coordinate the creation of new evals, and help build the processes and documentation that allow the team to scale this work over time.
This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and capable of coordinating across teams to break new ground and drive work to completion. This work is deeply cross-functional — you'll partner closely with policy experts, Safeguards engineering teams, and many other stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure our evaluations are comprehensive and current, and that findings translate into meaningful improvements to model behavior.
Responsibilities
Support model launch readiness by running evaluations, monitoring and interpreting results, and surfacing regressions or unexpected behavior changes to relevant stakeholders
Partner closely with policy and domain experts throughout the evaluation lifecycle — from identifying risks and scoping the right evaluation approach, to coordinating creation of new evals and ensuring existing ones remain current with evolving policies, threat vectors, and model capabilities
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to help manage evaluation outcomes, including interpreting results and driving mitigations where needed
Think strategically about eval quality to build processes and eval paradigms that keep evaluations unsaturated, high-signal, and insightful as models improve
Build out processes and frameworks for creating product-specific evaluations as Anthropic's product surface area expands
Help design and scope tooling improvements that accommodate evolving eval needs and expand self-serve eval creation and iteration for non-technical users
Write and maintain rigorous documentation for evaluation creation, execution, and interpretation as the team builds out eval tooling and processes
You may be a good fit if you:
Have experience in trust and safety, content operations, policy enforcement, or a related operational role at a technology company
Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments — you're energized rather than frustrated when the path forward isn't clearly defined and you need to figure it out as you go
Have experience building processes, workflows, or programs from scratch (zero-to-one work), not just maintaining existing ones
Have strong program management instincts, naturally creating structure around complex, multi-stakeholder efforts by tracking timelines, dependencies, and deliverables to keep work on track
Are eager to expand your technical toolkit, including adopting internal tools and AI-assisted workflows (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate your work
Can manage multiple concurrent workstreams across different domain areas without losing track of details — strong prioritization and context-switching are essential when deadlines and priorities shift quickly
Are a strong generalist comfortable moving fluidly across different types of work and switching contexts throughout the day
Are comfortable making judgment calls with incomplete information and escalating appropriately when needed
Communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and cross-functionally
Strong candidates may also have:
Experience operating under tight, high-stakes timelines — such as product launch cycles, incident response, or regulatory deadlines — where information and priorities can shift with little notice
Experience coordinating across engineering, policy, and product teams to translate findings into concrete action
Experience building and maintaining SOPs, runbooks, and operational documentation in fast-changing environments
Proficiency with data tools (SQL, dashboards, spreadsheets) sufficient to maintain and improve workflows
Comfort working with sensitive content areas as part of eval creation or enforcement review responsibilities
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$230,000
—
$270,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

About The Opportunity
OKX is building local exchange businesses from the ground up across multiple emerging and high-growth markets. We are looking for a product leader who has driven a complete 0-to-1 cycle in a priority overseas market — someone who will own the product strategy and local growth playbook for a specific region or country, and be directly accountable for product competitiveness and business growth outcomes in that market.
This role sits at the intersection of the Local business team and Global product and engineering. You'll go deep into the local market — translating user profiles, regulatory landscapes, and competitive dynamics into product and growth strategies — while driving Global product and engineering resources to deliver locally, ensuring the product experience and competitiveness actually take off on the ground.
We are not prescriptive about which specific region you've built in previously — LatAm, Southeast Asia, Turkey, MENA, or others are all relevant. What matters is that you have personally built a business in an emerging market, closed the growth loop, and can transfer that methodology to OKX's priority regions.
This is a product leadership role, not a country general manager role — but you need to operate with near business-owner accountability: responsible for the region's core growth metrics and product competitiveness, not just shipping features.
What You’ll Be Doing
Regional Product Strategy & Local Growth Planning
Own product strategy and local growth planning for a specific region or country, working across the Local business team and Global product and engineering to be directly accountable for local product competitiveness and business growth outcomes.
Develop a deep understanding of local user profiles, legal and regulatory frameworks, competitive landscapes, and cultural nuances, and translate these into a comprehensive product competition strategy and channel growth strategy with clear prioritization.
Continuously track the local crypto and fintech ecosystem — with a focus on global players and regional leaders across exchanges and fintech — as well as macro factors such as inflation, currency depreciation, and cross-border remittance demand that shape user trading behavior.
Local Product Experience & Competitiveness
Own the end-to-end local product experience and competitiveness, covering onboarding, fiat deposit, market analysis, trading, and earn — the core stages of the user journey.
Build a comprehensive local product feedback loop — from user behavior data and funnel analysis, to local user feedback collection — to identify key bottlenecks and high-leverage opportunities in conversion, retention, and engagement, and drive iterative improvement.
Adapt to local market characteristics (inflation-driven demand, competitor switching costs, payment method preferences, etc.) to reduce drop-off from registration to first trade and shorten time-to-first-trade.
Channel Growth & Cross-team Collaboration
Work with local teams to identify effective user acquisition channels; lead the discovery, introduction, integration, and scaling of high-impact channels.
Leverage your local network — KOLs, fintech partners, payment providers, regulatory contacts — to accelerate market entry and growth.
Collaborate closely with regional BD, Marketing, Operations, and Global product and engineering to ensure product initiatives align with local growth objectives.
What We Look For In You
0-to-1 business building and growth experience in an emerging market
(e.g., LatAm, Southeast Asia, Turkey, MENA, or similar) — you can clearly articulate the regional metrics you owned and the business outcomes you delivered. You held a product, strategy, or growth role during the early stage of an international expansion at a tech company or at a high-growth local champion in the region.
Comprehensive business growth and user growth methodology
— you have fully owned a user funnel (acquisition → activation → retention) and can speak to results with data: CAC, activation rates, D7/D30 retention, LTV, reactivation. Your work was growth experimentation and product intervention, not just media buying.
Strong product management capability
— you can define product strategy and success metrics, prioritize a roadmap, drive A/B testing, and collaborate with product and engineering to deliver. This is a product leadership role, not a GM or pure growth marketing role.
Proven cross-functional collaboration
— able to drive alignment across teams (design, engineering, data, commercial), manage external partnerships, and navigate regulatory conversations. Effective at aligning resources between Local and Global organizations.
Deep local market knowledge and an established local network
— you understand local user behaviors, payment ecosystems (e.g., PIX, SPEI, Mercado Pago, UPI, GCash, DANA, M-Pesa, depending on region), regulatory environments, and competitive dynamics. You have partners, KOLs, and industry relationships in the region that you can activate.
Consumer product management experience
in fintech, crypto, or trading preferred. Candidates with experience managing or mentoring product teams will be considered for the Senior Product Director level.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong plus for effective collaboration with HQ teams.
Nice-To-Haves
Proficiency in a local language relevant to the target region (Spanish, Portuguese, Bahasa Indonesia, Arabic, Turkish, etc.).
Crypto exchange product experience — spot/derivatives trading, order types, fee structures, token listings, and fiat on/off-ramp flows.
Familiarity with local payment rails and fiat-to-crypto conversion flows in emerging markets.
Hands-on trading experience in FX, equities, or crypto.
Perks & Benefits
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
Various team building programs and company events
Wellness and meal allowances
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants

FlySto is a startup project with a small, distributed team. We have a server, web client, and Android and iOS apps – all written in Kotlin and supported by JetBrains.
Modern aircraft, even small ones, are equipped with sophisticated avionics systems that measure various flight and engine parameters and record them to internal storage or memory cards. The resulting log files contain enough data to literally “replay” an entire flight, displaying the aircraft’s precise position and orientation, along with all instrument readings available to the pilots. Our product allows pilots to store and analyze their flights from different perspectives on the web and mobile devices.
We are currently looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our team!
In this role, you will:
Guide a small team of product designers, ensuring team productivity and high-quality results.
Own the design direction and lead large-scale initiatives from vision and strategy through execution.
Take ownership of the design process hands-on – from research and problem framing to creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, as well as delivering a polished UI.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions. As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran needs an engineer-architect who can make the AI analyst experience real, dependable, and extensible. This role owns the architecture behind the analyst AI system, including metadata contracts, tool interfaces, context assembly, prompt and skill orchestration, evaluation loops, and the operational patterns that make agents useful in real workflows instead of isolated demos.
This is a systems role as much as an AI role. The challenge is not just getting an LLM to do something impressive once. The challenge is building a product-quality analyst system that can reason over schema and business context, use tools correctly, recover from ambiguity, and improve through disciplined evaluation and iteration.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based at our Oakland, CA office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
What You'll Do
Define the architecture for the analyst AI stack across prompts, tools, metadata, memory and context strategies, evaluation, and runtime safety.
Build the abstractions and interfaces that allow product teams to add new agent capabilities without creating brittle prompt sprawl.
Design retrieval and context strategies that give the model the right information at the right time with strong cost, latency, and quality tradeoffs.
Establish evaluation loops, benchmark suites, and review processes so model behavior can be measured, debugged, and improved systematically.
Partner with product, engineering, and analyst-domain experts to translate real analytical workflows into robust AI-assisted product capabilities.
Drive quality standards around correctness, trust, transparency, and failure handling in analyst-facing AI experiences.
What We're Looking For
Deep experience building AI-enabled product systems, not just running experiments.
Strong software architecture skills, especially around APIs, contracts, orchestration, and system boundaries.
Practical understanding of LLM prompting, tool use, retrieval, structured outputs, and evaluation methods.
Ability to work fluently across backend engineering, product constraints, and user workflow design.
Clear judgment about where agent systems should be flexible and where they should be constrained.
Comfort working in ambiguous environments where patterns are still being invented.
Why This Role Matters
The quality of the AI analyst experience will shape how differentiated Fivetran feels. This role determines whether the system is merely novel or actually reliable enough to become part of an analyst's day-to-day workflow. Strong architecture here reduces product risk and creates leverage for the rest of the team.

Anthropic is seeking Software Engineers to join our Observability team within the Infrastructure organization. The Observability team owns the monitoring and telemetry infrastructure that every engineer and researcher at Anthropic depends on, from metrics and logging pipelines to distributed tracing, profiling, error analytics, alerting, and the dashboards and query interfaces that make it all actionable. By joining this team, you'll have a direct impact on the reliability and operational excellence of Anthropic's research and product systems.
As Anthropic scales its infrastructure across large GPU, TPU, and Trainium clusters, the volume and complexity of operational data is growing by orders of magnitude, and an increasing share of the most challenging problems live below the application layer. We're building next-generation observability systems, including high-throughput telemetry pipelines, fleet-wide continuous profiling, eBPF-based tracing and network visibility, and agentic diagnostic tools, so engineers can detect, diagnose, and resolve issues in minutes rather than hours, even when the answer lies in the kernel, the network stack, or an accelerator rather than on a dashboard.
Key responsibilities
Design and build scalable telemetry ingest and storage pipelines for metrics, logs, traces, and error data across Anthropic's multi-cluster infrastructure
Build observability solutions that give engineers deep, low-overhead visibility into system behavior across the fleet
Own and evolve core observability platforms, leading migrations and architectural improvements that improve reliability, reduce cost, and scale with organizational growth
Build instrumentation libraries, SDKs, and eBPF-based auto-instrumentation to emit high-quality telemetry, with and without code changes
Reduce mean time to detection and resolution by building cross-signal correlation (from kernel-level events up to application traces), unified query interfaces, and AI-assisted diagnostic tooling
Improve fleet-wide efficiency by turning continuous profiling and utilization telemetry into actionable optimization insights across CPU, memory, and accelerator fleets
Partner with Research, Inference, Product, and Infrastructure teams to ensure observability solutions meet the unique needs of each organization
Minimum qualifications
Experience building and operating large-scale observability or monitoring infrastructure
Hands-on experience with observability signals end to end, from instrumentation through ingest to query and analysis
Understanding of high-throughput telemetry pipelines and the tradeoffs involved in collecting, storing, and querying operational data at scale
Comfort debugging below the application layer, in the kernel, the network stack, or the hardware
Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with internal teams to improve their operational visibility and incident response capabilities
Ability to work independently on ambiguous, high-impact technical challenges
Preferred qualifications
Experience building or operating eBPF-based observability in production, such as tracing, profiling, or network visibility
Experience running continuous profiling at fleet scale, including managing overhead budgets and symbolization
Kernel- and syscall-level debugging experience and performance engineering skills
Experience profiling or instrumenting accelerator workloads
Experience operating metrics systems at very high cardinality, or large-scale telemetry storage backends
Experience with log storage migrations or operating columnar databases (e.g., ClickHouse, BigQuery) for analytics workloads
Experience with OpenTelemetry instrumentation, collector pipelines, and tail-based sampling strategies
Interest in applying AI/LLMs to operational workflows such as automated root cause analysis, anomaly detection, or intelligent alerting
Enthusiasm for building foundational infrastructure
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$485,000 USD

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
At Baseten, we are building the global operating system for distributed, heterogeneous AI hardware. We believe that as LLM and multi-modal workloads scale, the network is the computer. We are looking for foundational engineers to lead our GPU Networking efforts, making RDMA a first-class building block in our infrastructure and unlocking the next generation of distributed inference optimizations.
Networking and compute are no longer separate disciplines; they are converging. The massive throughput of H100, B200, and NVL72 architectures enables and demands a new approach where communication is co-optimized alongside computation. We are entering an era where the network is an active accelerator, leveraging smart hardware offloads and direct interconnects to ensure that data movement operates at wire-speed.
In this role, you will go beyond network configuration to architect the software fabric that unifies thousands of GPUs into a cohesive operating system. While you will leverage the best of the open-source ecosystem, you won't be limited by it. Where off-the-shelf solutions stop, you will build from scratch, engineering the primitives required to co-optimize communication and compute for Disaggregated Serving, Wide Expert Parallelism (WideEP), and lightening cold starts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make RDMA First-Class: You will work on integrating RDMA/RoCE/InfiniBand capabilities directly into our inference stack, helping us move beyond TCP/IP to unlock order-of-magnitude improvements in bandwidth and latency.
- Optimize Distributed Inference: You will implement and tune the networking layers necessary for efficient Disaggregated KV Cache Offload and WideEP, ensuring seamless communication across NVLink and InfiniBand for our MoE models.
- Enable Serverless-Grade Startup Speeds for LLMs: You will work deeply with checkpointing and storage mechanisms to enable sub-10-second startup for trillion-parameter models.
- Deep-Dive into Hardware: You will characterize and validate networking performance on bleeding-edge clusters (H100/H200, B200/B300, GB200/300 NVL72), writing the acceptance tests that ensure our hardware delivers peak achievable throughput and minimal latency.
- Build Observability: You will design the tools that let us visualize packet flow, congestion, and effective bandwidth across the GPU interconnects, helping us diagnose complex distributed system behaviors.
- Optimize Kernels: You will work with communication libraries (NCCL, NVSHMEM) and potentially write custom communication kernels to overlap compute and data transfer.
REQUIREMENTS
- You have deep experience with high-performance networking protocols (InfiniBand, RoCE v2) and understand the physics of data movement.
- You are fluent in C++ or Python, with the ability to bridge the gap between high-level logic and hardware. You have a deep understanding of the memory hierarchy in modern NVIDIA architectures (H100/Blackwell) and know how to optimize for it.
- You like going deep. You aren't afraid to dive into TensorRT-LLM source code, write custom C++ / Python bindings, or debug NVLink topology issues.
- You know when to use an off-the-shelf solution and when we need to build a custom solution because the upstream tools (like standard Kubernetes networking) are too slow for our needs.
NICE TO HAVE
- Deep knowledge of NCCL, NVSHMEM, and UCX.
- Experience with Rust for systems-level or performance-critical networking code is a strong plus
- Experience with GPUDirect Storage (GDS) or high-performance filesystems like Weka or 3FS.
- Familiarity with TensorRT-LLM, vLLM, or SGLang.
- Experience running low-level benchmarks to "qualify" new hardware clusters.
THE TEAM
- Bleeding Edge Hardware: We are preparing to bring Blackwell (B200/B300) and then Rubin architectures online. You will be one of the first engineers in the industry optimizing networking for NVL72/GB300 racks.
- We go deep: We operate at every depth. Whether it’s tuning hardware interconnects, writing custom communication kernels, or designing distributed inference strategies, we work across the entire stack to deliver performance that goes far and beyond.
- High Impact: The networking optimizations you build will directly enable features that no one else in the industry has fully mastered yet, like seamless multi-node WideEP and instant model hydration.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.

Perplexity is AI for people who expect more. This role brings that standard to how we understand our users, shape our product, and decide what to build next.
We're looking for a data scientist who can turn product questions into clear decisions. You'll work across product, engineering, growth, design, and user research to understand user behavior, define metrics, design experiments, and identify the highest-leverage opportunities for the company.
The data team is AI-native by default. We use AI to accelerate analysis, write and review code, explore hypotheses, document data, generate first drafts, and automate recurring workflows. But the core of the role is still judgment: asking the right question, choosing the right metric, designing the right test, and knowing when the answer is strong enough to act on.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop product insights - analyze user behavior to inform product roadmap, accelerate adoption, and identify opportunities to improve the user experience.
- Design and analyze experiments - form hypotheses, define success metrics, run A/B tests, interpret results, and turn findings into product recommendations.
- Define the metrics that matter - build the metrics, guardrails, dashboards, and reporting workflows that help teams understand product and company health.
- Partner across functions - work closely with engineering, product, growth, design, and user research to answer ambiguous questions and drive decisions.
- Build reusable data assets - create tables, models, and documentation that make analysis faster, more consistent, and easier for humans and AI systems to use.
- Use AI to scale data science - automate recurring analysis, build AI-assisted workflows, improve documentation, and turn one-off investigations into repeatable systems.
- Tell the story clearly - communicate findings, assumptions, uncertainty, and recommendations in a way that helps teams make decisions.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 6+ years of experience as a data scientist or closely related role.
- Strong product sense - you understand user behavior, product tradeoffs, and how to connect analysis to decisions.
- SQL expertise - you can navigate a complex data warehouse on your own, reason about grain and joins, and debug data issues when something looks wrong.
- Experimentation depth - you have significant experience designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests.
- AI-native working style - you use LLMs and AI tools to move faster without outsourcing analytical judgment.
- Metrics and dashboard experience - you've built useful reporting in tools such as Omni, Mode, Hex, Looker, or similar, and know how to turn metrics into better product decisions.
- Comfort with ambiguity - you can take an open-ended question, structure it, execute the analysis, and make a clear recommendation.
- End-to-end ownership - you take responsibility for the work from problem definition to stakeholder adoption.
BONUS
- Experience with dbt, data modeling, or analytics engineering.
- Python experience for analysis, automation, or internal tools.
- Experience with Snowflake, especially performance and cost-aware querying.
- Experience combining qualitative user research with quantitative product analysis.
- Experience as one of the first data scientists at an early or growth-stage company.
- ML experience or experience working across multiple product surfaces.
WHY THIS ROLE
- Define data science at Perplexity - you'll help set the bar for how an AI-native data science team operates.
- Work on questions with no playbook - AI-native products are too new for established benchmarks. What engagement, retention, and user success look like for AI products that answer questions and get real work done is still an open question, and you'll help define it.
- Use AI where it actually matters - you'll use frontier tools to make analysis faster, more repeatable, and more useful.
- Direct impact - small team, high ownership, and work that shapes product and company direction.
