Now we’d love to see what you can build. If you’re applying, try n8n out - whether you’re technical or not - and share a screenshot of your first workflow with us. The easiest place to start is here: app.n8n.cloud/register http://app.n8n.cloud/register. We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us. 🎯 Your main goal will be to build and ship end-to-end TypeScript product features that make n8n safer, more scalable, and more programmable for enterprise customers — helping large organizations run business-critical automation with confidence. To do so, you’ll own outcomes across the full stack and stay close to users, product, security, and enterprise-scale requirements: ENTERPRISE PRODUCT OWNERSHIP - Own product surfaces from discovery to delivery across areas like identity, access, governance, APIs, observability, environments, and enterprise integrations. - Ship high-quality features fast across the TypeScript stack, balancing usability, security, performance, and maintainability. - Partner closely with Product to translate complex enterprise customer needs into clear scopes, technical trade-offs, and measurable outcomes. FULLSTACK DELIVERY ACROSS PLATFORM AND PRODUCT - Build and evolve customer-facing experiences in Vue or React for admins, developers, and enterprise users managing n8n at scale. - Develop scalable Node.js services and APIs that power authentication, permissions, workflow lifecycle management, observability, integrations, and partner use cases. - Move fluidly between frontend and backend codebases to unblock your team and keep momentum high across complex product areas. SECURE, SCALABLE ENTERPRISE FOUNDATIONS - Build capabilities that help organizations control who can do what across n8n, including authentication, provisioning, RBAC, credential infrastructure, and secrets management. - Contribute to safe workflow delivery through environments, source control, versioning, testing, CI/CD validation, and deployment workflows. - Improve governance, observability, auditability, and runtime controls so admins can understand, troubleshoot, and enforce how n8n is used. APIS, INTEGRATIONS, AND EXTENSIBILITY - Build and maintain enterprise-grade integrations, nodes, SDK capabilities, and execution patterns that support automation at scale. - Design APIs, embed capabilities, and multi-instance management features that make n8n programmable for partners, developers, and large customers. - Instrument features end-to-end so you can measure impact, debug real-world behavior, and continuously improve reliability for business-critical workflows. TEAMS YOU COULD JOIN We’re currently hiring across multiple enterprise product engineering teams, including IAM, Enterprise Nodes, API & OEM, and Governance & Observability. During the interview process you’ll be matched to a team based on your strengths and what you’re most excited to build. - Learn more about the teams and their focus areas here https://app.notion.com/p/Discover-Engineering-n8n-1b65b6e0c94f80688f43d9bbc76023c3?pvs=21. NICE-TO-HAVES - 🔐 Identity, access, or security experience: You’ve worked on SSO, SAML, OIDC, LDAP, MFA, SCIM, RBAC, permissions, secrets management, or credential infrastructure. - 🚢 SDLC and deployment workflows: You’ve built features around environments, Git-based workflows, versioning, testing, CI/CD, release controls, or approval gates. - 🔌 Integrations and APIs: You’ve built integrations, APIs, SDKs, automation platforms, or developer tooling that helps others extend a product. - 📊 Observability and governance: You’ve worked with audit logs, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, SIEM integrations, admin controls, usage insights, or runtime policies. - 🤝 OEM or partner platform experience: You’ve contributed to embeddable products, partner platforms, multi-instance management, air-gapped deployments, or enterprise developer portals. - 🛠️ OSS and community involvement: You contribute to open-source, build side projects, or participate in developer communities. Why join us? At n8n, your work won’t disappear into a backlog. You’ll build the enterprise-grade foundations that make n8n safe, observable, programmable, and reliable for large organizations running business-critical workflows. You’ll have direct impact across product areas like identity, governance, APIs, SDLC, integrations, and observability, while helping shape how n8n scales for its next generation of enterprise customers. You’ll join a fast-growing, remote-first team where autonomy is real, collaboration is valued, and your impact is visible across the product. Sound like a challenge you’re excited to take on?
