At Linear, we're building the product development system for teams and agents. AI is fundamentally changing how software gets built, and we’re shaping the tools this new era requires.
Founded in 2019, Linear has become the platform of choice for more than 40,000 companies (including OpenAI, Coinbase, and Ramp) to plan, build, and ship their products. Today, our team is distributed across North America, Europe, and Australia, and we’re continuing to grow internationally. What unites us is relentless focus, fast execution, and a deep care for software craftsmanship.
The Data team works across Linear, supporting Product, Engineering, and GTM. We own our data pipelines, warehouse, dashboards, analysis, and integrations with third-party tools. As a small team, we focus on building systems that make data accessible and useful across Linear. We’re looking for someone who wants to help shape how we architect, build, and use data as we grow.
Location & work mode
Linear is a remote-first company, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in North America. You can work from anywhere within this region. We value deep focus and async collaboration, with intentional moments to connect in person through team off-sites, optional co-working, and occasional travel.
What you’ll do
- Work across Product and GTM (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance) to turn ambiguous questions and operational needs into useful metrics, models, analyses, and workflows
- Build and maintain dbt models and pipelines that create trusted views of our product, customers, and business
- Design clear, maintainable data models and improve the testing, documentation, performance, and reliability of our data stack
- Build dashboards and self-service reporting in Metabase and Hex, and dig deeper when the answer requires more than a chart
- Operationalize data through reverse ETL and partner with GTM Engineering on the scoring, segmentation, automations, and internal tools that help our teams scale
- Balance fast, pragmatic answers with durable solutions, recognizing when a one-off request should become a reusable model or workflow
- Find ways to leverage emerging tools, LLMs, and coding agents to accelerate development, analysis, testing, and documentation while maintaining a high bar for correctness
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or data engineering, ideally at a fast-moving software company
- Exceptional SQL and strong hands-on experience with dbt and a modern cloud data warehouse
- Track record of owning data projects end-to-end, from shaping an ambiguous problem to shipping something people rely on
- Strong data modeling judgment: you think clearly about grain, reusable components, interfaces, dependencies, and maintainability without relying on a single prescribed methodology
- Analytical judgment: you know when to answer quickly, when to investigate deeply, and how to turn complex findings into a clear recommendation
- Comfortable moving between technical implementation and business context, from debugging a data model to understanding product adoption or sales efficiency
- High ownership mentality: self-directed, pragmatic, and willing to challenge a request or approach when something does not make sense
- Strong communication skills and experience partnering directly with both technical and non-technical teams
- Comfortable using LLMs and coding agents as part of your day-to-day development workflow
Our tech
This stack reflects the systems you’ll work in. You’re not expected to have experience with everything listed, but you should be comfortable learning quickly and working across the full lifecycle of data.
- Data Warehouse: Snowflake, dbt Cloud
- Dashboards / Analysis: Metabase, Hex
- ETL / rETL: Hevo, Fivetran
- GTM tools: Hubspot, Pocus, Clay

Linear is in a unique position—we are profitable, which gives us the flexibility to invest thoughtfully as we grow. We want to build a company that scales well—not just in our product, but in how we run our GTM programs. In this role, you’ll design and evolve the systems and process that power our deal desk process. This person will help build the mechanics behind our sales-led deals: quotes, order forms, pricing, discount approvals, and contract terms. A strong candidate has run quote-to-cash at a SaaS company and can spot where the process is slow, manual, or leaky.
Location & work mode
Linear is a remote-first company, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in North America (west coast). We value deep focus and async collaboration, with intentional moments to connect in person through team off-sites, optional co-working, and occasional travel.
What you'll do
- Own the quote-to-order-form workflow: accurate quotes, correct terms, and a clean path from verbal yes to signed and billed
- Build and run the deal approval and discount matrix, so Account Executives know what they can self-serve and what needs sign-off
- Be the single point of contact for deal structuring questions that today land on Account Executives mid-deal
- Partner with Finance and Legal to keep the order-to-cash process clean, controlled, and free of revenue leakage
- Support usage-based and consumption deals as AI billing rolls out, from how they are quoted through the hand-off to billing
- Find and remove manual work: automate what can be automated, document what needs to be documented
- Help us get and stay audit ready by making sure deals are recorded correctly
What we're looking for
- 3-5 years in deal desk, order management, revenue operations, or quote-to-cash, ideally at a high-growth SaaS company
- Strong command of the full quote-to-cash cycle, from pricing and approvals through order form and billing hand-off
- Comfortable building process from scratch: workflows, approval logic, controls, and documentation, without a playbook handed to you
- Sound judgment on the tradeoff between deal speed and control, and on sensitive pricing and deal information
- A clear communicator who can hold a deal conversation with an Account Executive, Finance, and a customer, and have each one walk away with what they need
- Proficiency with CRM and quoting tools; experience with usage-based billing, multi-currency, or CPQ is a strong plus

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran and dbt Labs are building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We're looking for a staff software engineer to be a technical leader on our Metadata team, which owns the metadata layer of the dbt platform — the discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history services that let customers understand, trust, and act on what their data is doing.
As a
Staff Software Engineer
, you'll contribute to the technical direction for the team. You'll own the architecture of major subsystems, lead complex projects that span multiple engineers, and raise the bar for design and code quality across the team. You'll spend your time on the hardest technical problems, and multiply the team through design reviews, coaching, and mentorship.
This is a full-time, fully remote position. We do expect the successful candidate to come to the Oakland, CA office from time to time.
Technologies You'll Use
Python, GraphQL, Postgres, Snowflake, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, Datadog
What You'll Do
Lead the design and delivery of complex, team-level projects across the Metadata services, coordinating development across multiple engineers
Independently design and develop the architecture of new subsystems, and own team-level subsystems end to end
Use AI tooling and agents — across development and SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Review and approve technical designs, ensuring they meet a high quality bar, and identify design deficiencies before they ship
Drive technical initiatives across the team's responsibility areas — discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history
Set and uphold design, architecture, and coding best practices, and hold teammates accountable for code quality
Coach and mentor engineers, demonstrably improving the quality of code across the team
Write technical specs, document common components, and keep the team accountable for necessary project documentation
Fix and optimize critical parts of the codebase, drive incident follow-through, and advance the reliability and performance of the services you own
Participate periodically in the on-call rotation
Skills We're Looking For
8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of leading complex, team-scope technical work to completion
Deep expertise designing and owning subsystems in distributed, cloud-based systems
Demonstrated ability to set technical direction for a team and drive multi-engineer initiatives across an area of ownership
Excellent design and architecture judgment; identifies design flaws in existing systems and proposes sound solutions with clear trade-offs
Writes exemplary, well-tested code that serves as a model for others, and reliably estimates and delivers sprint to sprint
Strong track record of raising quality through code review, coaching peers, and enforcing accepted engineering practices
Experience partnering with QE on test strategy and owning operational health — incidents, post-mortems, reliability, and performance
Proficiency in a modern backend or systems language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and managing dev infrastructure
Fluent in using AI code assistants and coding agents to generate and investigate code, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to author, review, and synthesize SDLC artifacts — and able to model those practices for a team
Bonus Skills
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based data platforms
Experience architecting metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Product Infrastructure team works on creating abstractions and data models that solve enduring problems across the stack. We solve problems that span multiple product surfaces and typically stretch across both front-end and backend and unblock new product avenues that were previously challenging to create.
This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Shape and build the core frameworks that enable reading and writing data in Notion, integrating feedback from internal customers along the way, using whatever tools are required for the job, such as AWS, Postgres, NodeJS, TypeScript, React on the frontend.
- Design new systems and abstractions that improve developer productivity, reliability, and performance by handling entire classes of problems up-front for product engineers.
- Solve hard technical challenges such as designing abstractions for efficient traversal of the user content graph, building a system to sync user content for offline use, or scaling our permission model to serve large customers with complex content.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Thoughtful problem-solving: For you, problem-solving starts with a clear and accurate understanding of the context. You can decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution.
- Pragmatic and business-oriented: You care about business impact and prioritize projects accordingly. You're not just going after cool stuff—you understand the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.
- Strive for simplicity: You think critically about the implications of what you're building, and aim for the most simple and well-crafted design. You understand the consequence of complexity, and are motivated to eliminate them.
- Not ideological about technology: To you, technologies and programming languages are about tradeoffs. You may be opinionated, but you're not ideological and can learn new technologies as you go.
- Empathetic communication: You communicate nuanced ideas clearly, whether you're explaining technical decisions in writing or brainstorming in real time. In disagreements, you engage thoughtfully with other perspectives and compromise when needed.
- Team player: For you, work isn't a solo endeavor. You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to accomplish shared goals, and you care about learning, growing, and helping others to do the same.
NICE TO HAVES:
- You have leveraged the features of typed languages (e.g. TypeScript, Flow) to drive code migrations, or have implemented your own data modeling paradigms (e.g. writing your own ORM, sync engine, or query language).
- You have seen how fundamental abstractions scale within a large codebase, and are curious about how different organizations solve similar problems (e.g. TAO by Meta, Zanzibar by Google).
- You've heard of computing pioneers like Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, Alan Kay, and others—and understand why we're big fans of their work.
- You have interests outside of technology, such as in art, history, or social sciences.
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 per year.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s.
Millions of people use Notion every day, and we’re growing quickly. The Infrastructure Security team’s mission is to build a secure-by-default foundation across Notion’s technical stacks—architecting systems that make the secure path the easy path. As an IC4 on this team, you’ll own meaningful infrastructure security problems end-to-end: from identifying risk, to designing pragmatic controls, to shipping secure defaults that scale across engineering.
- Proactively enhance the security posture of our AWS accounts and cloud infrastructure.
- Create secure frameworks for secrets management and authentication/authorization.
- Design and deploy robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Provide guidance and education on security and privacy best practices to cross-functional partners.
- Participate in (and help drive) mitigation strategies during security-related incident response.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Security architecture and expertise: you’ve built and maintained systems to secure cloud architectures, ranging from secrets management to Identity and Access Management solutions.
- Backend/infrastructure development: you’ve written and shipped production-grade code, and can contribute to the codebase and architecture to raise the bar on secure systems design.
- Working in production: you can debug systems in production and continuously improve components with minimal disruption.
- Pragmatic, risk-based prioritization: you model threats, balance trade-offs, and focus security investments where they drive the most business impact.
- Empathetic communication: you communicate nuanced ideas clearly in writing and in real time; in disagreements, you engage thoughtfully and look for the right compromise.
NICE TO HAVES:
- AWS security best practices, zero trust architectures, and/or deep IAM expertise.
- Data security or privacy engineering experience.
- Experience applying AI tooling to defensive security workflows.
- Participation in security communities (local or regional groups, conferences).
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated base salary range for this role is $230,000 - $280,000 per year.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & ACCOMMODATIONS
We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. Notion is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. Consistent with applicable law, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Notion provides reasonable accommodations during the application process; if you need one, please let your recruiter know.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Engineering Manager for Product Engineers, you will lead a group of talented builders creating the core developer experience of the Render platform. - Ensure teams maintain a strong understanding of the developer experience and customer impact of the features they build.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with product management, customers, and internal teams to understand needs, align priorities, and ensure delivery of impactful features and solutions.

- 8+ years as an Engineer shipping products and/or features that have downstream impact on the business and product ecosystem
- 2+ years of experience managing people and developing engineers, including hiring, mentorship, and performance management.
- Strong technical background with the ability to engage deeply in system design, architecture, and engineering tradeoffs.

- Ability to balance urgency with thoughtful execution, helping teams ship quickly while maintaining high quality.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and design.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability for both team outcomes and long-term system health.

- Background working on highly scalable distributed systems or infrastructure platforms.
- Experience improving engineering velocity through tooling, processes, and team practices.
- Experience building products used directly by developers or technical users.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Social Media Lead to help build Circle’s social and media function from the ground up. Circle has one of the most interesting brands in the creator economy, but our social accounts don’t yet reflect the strength of the brand or reach the audience they should. This role is a chance to help change that — turning strong ideas, customer stories, partner moments, and long-form content into social content people actually want to watch and share. You’ll help build the engine: creating the content, supporting the strategy, and helping establish the rhythm and systems that make strong output repeatable. Reporting to our VP of Partnerships and Creator Growth, you’ll work closely with our founders and leadership team, as well as teammates across Community, Events, Product Marketing, Partnerships, and our Design Studio, to help Circle show up on social with more clarity, consistency, and ambition.
This is a remote role, which requires travel up to 25% of the time.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Execute Circle’s social content strategy across channels, helping translate direction into strong, platform-native output.
- Produce and publish social-first content with a strong emphasis on short-form video.
- Edit video independently, including cutting clips, shaping hooks, writing captions, and packaging content for distribution.
- Build and maintain the content operating rhythm, including calendar management, capture workflows, and coordination across teams.
- Partner with leadership and other stakeholders to identify content opportunities tied to partnerships, events, community, and customer stories.
- Collaborate on longer-form content development so shoots are designed with short-form distribution in mind from the start.
- Attend Circle’s events and key moments to capture content and support Circle’s presence on social (this role will require travel up to 25% of the time).
- Track leading indicators like non-follower reach, watch-through, saves, shares, and cadence consistency, and use them to improve execution over time.
- Bring practical recommendations on formats, workflows, and content opportunities based on what’s working.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Experience creating content for a tech, SaaS, creator economy, or community-led brand, with a clear understanding of how those audiences engage with social content.
- Video editing and production skills, including the ability to work independently in Adobe Premiere or a comparable professional editing tool to create polished short-form content quickly.
- Deep fluency across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn, with a solid grasp of what each platform is rewarding and how non-follower reach compounds over time.
- A clear point of view on what earns attention on social, with the ability to identify what’s working, what isn’t, and why.
- Awareness of the social and creator economy landscape, including fluency in how brands in our space are showing up today and what separates the ones that break through.
- Comfort being on camera when needed and capturing content independently in a fully remote environment.
- Operational instincts and the ability to build repeatable systems for planning, capture, and cross-functional coordination.
- Good judgment in cross-functional environments, with a clear understanding of how to support a long-term social strategy centered on non-follower reach and the ability to recognize when requests may conflict with those goals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (CEFR C2 or equivalent), as most collaboration at Circle happens asynchronously.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Circle offers U.S.-benchmarked compensation globally, equity in the company, 35 days of paid time off each year, and more.

Partner Solutions Engineers require a strong web development background, especially in frontend development, cloud infrastructure, networking, and modern application development. Strong coordination skills across multiple partners and time zones are essential, as is building lasting relationships with practice leads, delivery teams, and executives.
This is an in-person (hybrid) position that will require you to be based in Vercel's London or Berlin office with a required 3 days per week in office.
What you'll do
Serve as subject matter expert on Vercel and Next.js to partner engineering teams and leadership across EMEA.
Run Vercel's partner certification program in the region: deliver certification workshops, review certification projects, and guide partner engineers through the program.
Create and deliver technical training and enablement on Next.js and Vercel best practices, including building agents and AI applications on Vercel.
Deliver one-to-many technical workshops for partner engineering teams, and author the workshop content behind them.
Run and support partner hackathons that build partner skills and surface joint solutions.
Provide pre-sales support where partners are engaged: proofs of concept, technical deep dives, and deal unblocking alongside Vercel's sales and sales engineering teams.
Serve as the main technical contact for SIs and GSIs in the region, building lasting relationships with their engineering teams and practice leadership.
Build templates and solutions that equip partner communities with the best practices on delivering with Vercel.
What you need
You are passionate about building first-class user experiences on the web.
You have a strong understanding of web architecture, frontend development, and serverless computing.
You have 2+ years of experience as a solutions engineer advising or consulting engineering teams.
You have 4+ years of experience building and launching frontend applications using Next.js or React.
You speak German and/or French; spoken fluency in at least one of them, alongside professional English, is essential for this role.
You have worked with or within agencies, systems integrators, or consulting firms, and understand how they staff, deliver, and grow a technology practice.
You are experienced in developer relations, from training sessions and talks to producing technical content.
You have a results-driven mindset and are experienced working in a fast-paced environment.
You are comfortable working with remote, globally distributed cross-functional teams.
You have excellent communication skills and experience building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
You have experience driving the adoption of web technology or previous pre-sales experience.
You are based in EMEA and able to travel 20% of the time.
Bonus if you
Have built and shipped AI-powered or agentic applications, ideally with the AI SDK.
Speak both German and French.
Have run certification, training, or enablement programs at scale.
Have experience with composable architectures (headless CMS, commerce, search, analytics) common in partner-delivered projects.
Benefits:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
