OUR PURPOSE
At Xero, we’re here to supercharge small businesses. By making small business more efficient every day, connecting them with big business technology and empowering a community behind them, their potential is limitless. When that happens, we’re not only helping small business, we’ll be building a stronger economy that can change the world.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Accounts payable is broken for small businesses. Managing and paying a bill today means stitching together three or four different tools — capturing documents in one place, entering data in another, chasing approvals over email, and making the payment in a bank portal. It is manual, error-prone, and it takes hours every week from people who should be running their business.
Xero’s bills and bill payment surface already serves over a million monthly active users globally: small business owners, the employees who keep their books, and professional bookkeepers working across dozens of clients at accounting firms. It runs on a system designed for a pre-agent world.
As a Senior Product Manager on Bills, you will own the layer underneath that surface — the API contracts, the data-access model and the permission architecture that decide what a person or an agent is allowed to read, write and pay on a customer’s behalf. That applies inside Bills, and it applies through Xero’s integrations with Claude, Copilot and our open-source MCP server. You will set the vision alongside a principal engineer, argue the customer’s case inside technical decisions, decide what the interface should be, and lead a team of engineers through a replatform that never takes those million users offline.
This is not a zero-to-one bet looking for users. The work already has them. What does not exist yet is the architecture underneath accounts payable that makes automated, agent-assisted and human-directed spend coherent, safe and trustworthy. That is the job.
Your impact will be measured through customer, operational and commercial outcomes — including automation and straight-through processing rates, bill payment adoption and volume, activation and retention across owner and bookkeeper personas, platform and API reliability, and the pace at which the replatform lands without customer disruption.
THE TEAM AND HOW THEY CONNECT
You will join the Bills team — 20+ engineers, designers and product managers across Toronto, Vancouver and Pittsburgh — working across core AP workflows, platform APIs, AI experiences and bill payments. The team partners closely with payment and infrastructure vendors, and with cross-functional teams across North America, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. This is a global role, based in Toronto or Vancouver with flexibility to work remotely, and the team comes together in person regularly to collaborate and align on strategy.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
OWN THE ARCHITECTURE UNDERNEATH PAYMENTS
- Develop the vision, strategy and roadmap for the API, data-access and permission layer that underpins bills and bill payments, in partnership with a principal engineer.
- Define the contracts, data models and permission scopes that determine what any client — Xero’s own UI, a partner integration, or an AI agent — can read, write, approve and pay.
- Decide where authority sits: what a person must confirm, what an agent may do unattended, what requires a second approver, and what can never be automated.
- Sequence a replatform of a system serving more than a million monthly active users, with migration paths, dual-running periods and rollback plans that keep customers working throughout.
- Own the cost and consequence of changing contracts that other teams and third parties depend on, including versioning, deprecation and breaking-change communication.
- Identify opportunities to build reusable capabilities that serve Bills, the wider spend lifecycle and external developers, rather than isolated point solutions.
REMOVE TOIL FROM THE END-TO-END ACCOUNTS PAYABLE WORKFLOW
- Own products across the complete accounts payable journey: bill capture and understanding, coding and data extraction, approval routing, scheduling, payment execution, reconciliation and exception handling.
- Build toward a world where bills arrive, get understood, get approved and get paid with minimal human toil, and where the entire spend lifecycle lives in one place.
- Make Bill Pay the default way businesses pay through Xero, scaling bill payments across markets.
- Identify valuable and differentiated customer problems, and frame clear solutions that can be tested, validated and delivered incrementally.
- Ensure that platform complexity results in simple, understandable customer experiences rather than being passed through to the customer.
BUILD FOR MULTIPLE PERSONAS WHOSE INTERESTS CONFLICT
- Lead customer research across the distinct user types on this surface: business owners, in-house finance and admin staff, and professional bookkeepers and advisors managing many clients at once.
- Design for the tension between them — the owner who wants a bill paid now, the bookkeeper who needs control and auditability, the firm that needs consistency across a client portfolio — and make the trade-off explicit rather than averaging it away.
- Partner closely with Design and Engineering to create high-quality experiences across web, mobile and embedded surfaces, as well as programmatic ones.
- Use customer data, qualitative insight and market intelligence to inform product strategy, prioritisation and roadmap decisions.
SHIP AI AND AGENT CAPABILITIES CUSTOMERS CAN TRUST
- Define how AI and agents participate in accounts payable: what they suggest, what they act on, what they escalate, and how the customer stays in control.
- Own the quality bar for LLM-powered capabilities — evaluation sets, confidence thresholds, human-in-the-loop design, fallback behaviour and observable failure modes — and hold the line on it before launch.
- Prototype your own ideas, including in code, rather than waiting for engineering capacity to test a hypothesis.
- Shape how Xero’s accounts payable capabilities are exposed to external agent platforms, including our MCP server and integrations with Claude and Copilot.
- Design for an error-intolerant workflow: this product moves real money, and a wrong answer costs a customer real money and real trust.
NAVIGATE RISK, COMPLIANCE AND OPERATIONAL COMPLEXITY
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Security and Operations to build products that meet regulatory, security and operational requirements across markets.
- Take responsibility for risks arising from authorisation and access control, financial crime, privacy and responsible data use, data accuracy, regulatory change and service availability.
- Account for market-specific gating in payments and money movement — including US money transmission, UK FCA and open banking requirements, and Australian licensing and payment rails — when sequencing launches.
- Lead trade-off decisions that balance customer experience, risk exposure, regulatory obligation, technical complexity and commercial outcome.
- Treat operational processes, support tooling and exception management as part of the product, not an afterthought — including failed payments, duplicate bills, incorrect approvals, reversals and disputes.
DRIVE STRATEGY, EXECUTION AND COMMERCIAL OUTCOMES
- Develop and execute roadmaps that align customer needs, AP strategy, platform architecture and Xero’s broader business objectives, including the Melio acquisition and Xero’s North America growth agenda.
- Establish clear product goals, success metrics and OKRs, and be accountable for moving them.
- Take an active role in annual and quarterly planning, including funding, prioritisation and resourcing discussions.
- Lead release and rollout strategy so that changes land safely and iteratively across customer cohorts and markets.
- Monitor and interrogate customer, commercial and operational results, and lead interventions where outcomes are not meeting expectations.
- Understand the economics of the product, including payment volume, adoption, pricing, processing cost, margin and revenue.
- Make clear prioritisation decisions that balance immediate delivery against the long-term evolution of the platform.
LEAD THROUGH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL INFLUENCE
- Build strong relationships across Product, Engineering, Design, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Finance, Partnerships and Go-to-Market teams.
- Create clarity on what is being built, why it matters, how it will work and when it will be delivered.
- Hold your own in architecture and design reviews on data models, API contracts and migration sequencing, and bring a position rather than only questions.
- Drive decision-making across complex stakeholder groups and act as tie-breaker when consensus cannot be reached.
- Represent the products you own in senior leadership, product, architecture and payments forums, and in front of customers and partners.
- Mentor and support other Product Managers, raising the standard of platform and AI product expertise across Xero.
SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Bills arrive, get understood, get approved and get paid in Xero with materially less human effort than they require today.
- There is a clear, documented and well-reasoned answer to what an agent is allowed to do with a customer’s money in Xero — and customers and partners trust it.
- The API and permission layer underneath accounts payable is coherent, versioned and extensible, and new clients, markets and payment capabilities can be supported without duplication or rework.
- The replatform progresses on a sequence the team believes in, with no material disruption to the million-plus customers using the surface every month.
- Owners, in-house finance staff and professional bookkeepers each get an experience suited to how they actually work, and you can name the trade-offs you made between them.
- AI-powered capabilities ship with defined evaluation criteria, measured quality, understood failure modes and appropriate human control — and improve after launch on evidence.
- Bill Pay adoption, payment volume, automation rate, activation and retention are improving, and your contribution to that is clear.
- Product risks and dependencies are identified early and managed in partnership with Engineering, Risk, Compliance and Operations.
- Stakeholders understand the vision, strategy, roadmap and key trade-offs — and engineers come to you first when a decision needs making.
- Other Product Managers are developing through your coaching and knowledge-sharing.
- You demonstrate and amplify Xero’s values.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING WITH YOU
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
This role sits below the interface as much as in front of it, and the bar reflects that. You will bring:
- Experience shipping below the UI. You have delivered changes to APIs, integration layers or shared services as part of delivering a wider product, and you know what it costs to change a contract other people depend on. Ideally you have owned a public or partner API through a breaking change.
- Substantive AI product experience. You have shipped an LLM-powered capability that customers actually used, and you can talk about evaluations, failure modes and confidence thresholds unprompted — including what your product got wrong in production and what you did about it. You use AI aggressively in your own work and prototype in code.
- Multi-persona B2B product experience. You have built a workflow serving several distinct user types whose interests conflict, and you can name a specific trade-off you made between two of them.
- Error-intolerant domains. You have built products where a mistake costs money or carries regulatory consequence — payments, payroll, tax, treasury, lending, legal or clinical workflows.
- Significant product management experience in a software development environment, across the full product lifecycle — typically five or more years in product, or comparable time as a founder, consultant or technical individual contributor in a payments and/or commerce domain.
Deep accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounting or finance-team domain experience is a strong advantage but not a requirement, and experience with payment rails, regulatory-gated launches or fintech infrastructure is similarly valuable. Product experience confined to feature delivery on top of an existing platform, without direct involvement in the interfaces, contracts or data models underneath, is unlikely to be enough on its own for this role.
PRODUCT LEADERSHIP
- A strong track record of addressing customer needs through the innovative use of technology.
- Experience developing successful product strategies, roadmaps and long-term plans — setting direction rather than receiving a spec.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in technically complex and highly ambiguous environments, and to start before the problem is fully defined.
- Strong product judgement and the ability to make decisions with incomplete information.
- A track record of owning activation, retention, revenue or an equivalent metric and moving it — you can name the metric, the movement, and the trade-off you made to get it.
- Self-direction under ambiguity, with minimal supervision required to define direction and drive outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence decisions at all levels of an organisation.
TECHNICAL AND COMMERCIAL UNDERSTANDING
- Ability to work as a peer with engineers and architects on platform design, APIs, data models, permission and authorisation models, system dependencies and technical trade-offs.
- Understanding of migration and replatform sequencing in a live, high-volume system, and of the risks that come with it.
- Strong understanding of how AI and agent systems are built and evaluated, including retrieval, tool use, evaluation design and the limits of model reliability.
- Ability to translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements and technical specifications.
- Understanding of product economics, including volume, cost, margin, pricing and revenue.
- Experience evaluating third-party providers and making build, buy or partner decisions.
- Familiarity with the regulatory, risk, security and operational considerations involved in moving money.
CUSTOMER AND DATA ORIENTATION
- Strong experience conducting customer research and converting insight into product decisions.
- Ability to identify and clearly articulate complex customer problems — and to talk about users in the plural.
- Experience developing MVPs, incremental solutions and experiments that validate product assumptions.
- Strong analytical skills, using quantitative and qualitative data to make decisions.
- Ability to establish meaningful success criteria and monitor ongoing performance.
- Ability to translate complex information for technical, commercial, operational and executive audiences.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP
- Demonstrated success working with diverse stakeholder groups across multiple engineering teams, geographies and third-party partners.
- Ability to lead through influence across Product, Engineering, Design, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Finance and Go-to-Market.
- Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, and comfort presenting to executives and to customers.
- Ability to navigate difficult decisions, resolve ambiguity and create alignment across teams and geographies.
- Willingness to disagree with an engineer, and to be disagreed with, in service of the customer.
- Experience mentoring and coaching Product Managers and cross-functional team members.
CRITICAL CAPABILITIES
Love customer problems
- Lead the use of customer research approaches and methodologies to generate meaningful insight across owner, in-house finance and bookkeeper personas.
- Clearly define and articulate complex customer problems, including where personas conflict.
- Develop incremental solutions and experiments that validate customer and product assumptions.
- Ensure that platform and agent complexity results in simple, understandable and trustworthy customer experiences.
Look to the future
- Develop compelling product strategies and roadmaps that align customer, commercial and platform objectives.
- Anticipate how immediate architectural decisions will constrain future agent capabilities, markets, partners and products.
- Identify opportunities to create reusable capabilities rather than isolated point solutions.
- Explore new technologies, models and business models that change how small businesses manage and pay their bills.
Work the Xero way
- Lead effective product prioritisation and decision-making.
- Establish strong product and delivery practices within the team, without relying on a program manager to hold the plan.
- Coordinate across products and teams to deliver end-to-end customer outcomes.
- Ship iteratively, learn from outcomes and continuously improve the product.
Demonstrate commercial acumen
- Understand the markets, customer segments and competitive environment for accounts payable and bill payment.
- Balance customer value, platform investment, risk and commercial outcome.
- Define success criteria that reflect customer needs and product-market fit.
- Use adoption, volume, cost, margin and revenue data to guide product decisions.
Do it together
- Create alignment across complex and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Communicate a clear and compelling product narrative.
- Build productive relationships across teams, functions, markets and geographies.
- Mentor others and raise the standard of product, platform and AI expertise across Xero.
Explore the data
- Use data to understand customer behaviour, automation performance and operational outcomes.
- Combine insight from customer research, product telemetry, support interactions and market trends.
- Translate information into clear recommendations and decisions.
- Establish measurement, evaluation and observability as core parts of product development.
WHY THIS ROLE
Most AI product roles are a bet on a zero-to-one that may never find users. This one is the opposite. More than a million people already do this work in Xero every month, and the mandate is to define how agents get to touch it.
Xero has already put the pieces on the table: a US$2.5B acquisition of Melio, an open-source MCP server, a live Claude integration, and a new North America Product and Technology Hub. What does not exist yet is the architecture underneath accounts payable that makes it all coherent. That is what you would own.
COMPENSATION & TOTAL REWARDS
At Xero, we value the impact and skills you bring to the team. We believe in a Total Package philosophy - ensuring your value is recognized through a holistic lens that includes base salary, performance incentives, and world-class benefits.
The expected base salary range for this role is CA$167,400 – CA$209,200.
Individual pay is determined by various factors, including geography, level of experience, and the specific skills you bring to the role.
In addition to base pay, Xero’s roles are eligible for the following forms of variable compensation:
- Variable Pay: Permanent employees are eligible to participate in our annual bonus and equity (RSU) programs. You may also be eligible for performance-based cash or equity (RSUs) incentives depending on your role level, and company performance.
- Comprehensive Benefits: World-class health, wellness, and retirement programs. Xero Perks https://careers.xero.com/inside-xero/benefits-wellbeing/ including Wellbeing days, generous leave, and dedicated professional development budgets.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being close to the details while understanding the broader operational picture - someone who can identify an issue in a payroll reconciliation or employee record, work cross-functionally to resolve it, and then improve the underlying process so it doesn't happen again.
What You’ll Do:
Workday Implementation & HRIS
Serve as a key People Operations partner for Galaxy's Workday implementation ahead of the January 1, 2027 go-live.
Partner with internal stakeholders and external implementation resources to support requirements gathering, business process design, system configuration, integrations, and implementation activities.
Coordinate and execute data preparation, cleansing, validation, and migration activities to ensure accurate employee and payroll data within Workday
Develop and execute user acceptance testing (UAT), document results, identify issues, and partner with appropriate stakeholders through resolution.
Support payroll parallel testing and other payroll-readiness activities ahead of go-live.
Help establish scalable HRIS processes, controls, documentation, and governance.
Develop process documentation, SOPs, training materials, and resources for People team members, managers, and employees.
Support change management, training, and communications associated with the Workday launch.
Following go-live, help manage ongoing Workday administration, including business processes, employee data, reporting, security/access, system updates, and issue resolution.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve, automate, and scale People processes through Workday and other technologies.
Global Payroll
Support the end-to-end administration of payroll across Galaxy's global employee population, partnering with internal teams and third-party payroll providers as appropriate.
Review payroll inputs and outputs to ensure employees are paid accurately, completely, and on time.
Perform payroll audits, reconciliations, and variance analyses and proactively investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate employee lifecycle changes impacting payroll, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, benefits deductions, leaves, and other employee changes.
Partner with Finance on payroll funding, reconciliations, reporting, and related accounting requirements.
Work with People team partners to ensure HRIS, payroll, benefits, and employee data remain aligned across systems and vendors.
Support payroll compliance requirements across applicable jurisdictions and partner with internal and external subject-matter experts as needed.
Manage day-to-day relationships with payroll vendors, escalating and resolving issues while holding partners accountable for service and accuracy.
Maintain payroll calendars, controls, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Identify opportunities to standardize and strengthen global payroll processes as Galaxy continues to grow.
People Operations
Maintain a high standard of employee data accuracy and integrity across People systems.
Produce and analyze People and payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for operational improvement.
Support employee inquiries related to payroll, HR systems, and People processes, providing a high level of service and discretion.
Partner cross-functionally across People, Finance, Legal, Technology, and other teams on projects affecting employee data and operations.
Support audits, compliance requests, reporting, and other People Operations initiatives as needed.
Handle highly sensitive and confidential employee information with sound judgment and discretion.
Support global payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions (e.g., US, UK, Ireland, Portugal, and EOR-supported countries), including timesheet approvals, payroll data prep, and coordination with in-country payroll vendors.
Assist with new hire onboarding, employee data changes, transfers, and offboarding processes within Workday and related HR systems.
Prepare reports, reconciliations, and ad hoc analyses to support payroll and people operations initiatives.
Help document processes and maintain SOPs for HRIS, payroll, and people operations workflows.
Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to payroll, HR data, and system access with a high level of accuracy and discretion.
What We’re Looking For:
6+ years of relevant experience in People Operations, payroll, HRIS, HR technology, or a related field.
Hands-on experience supporting payroll operations; global or multi-country payroll experience strongly preferred.
Experience working with Workday or another enterprise HRIS; direct Workday implementation experience is strongly preferred.
Experience participating in an HRIS implementation, migration, configuration, or significant system transformation is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of the connection between HRIS data, payroll, benefits, Finance, and employee lifecycle processes.
Demonstrated ability to reconcile complex datasets, identify discrepancies, and drive issues through resolution.
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets, reporting, and analysis.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive workstreams simultaneously.
Strong project management skills and the ability to keep deliverables moving across multiple stakeholders.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where processes may still be evolving.
Takes ownership, works effectively both independently and collaboratively, and knows when to escalate issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical or operational issues for different audiences.
Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive employee and compensation information.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Bonus Points:
Experience with a Workday HCM and/or Payroll implementation, particularly involving a January 1 or year-start cutover.
Experience supporting payroll across North America, EMEA, and/or APAC.
Experience working with multiple local payroll providers or a global payroll platform.

Analyze sportsbook journeys such as event discovery, navigation, search, market selection, bet placement, betslip usage, live betting, promotions, and bet management.
Convert business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
Break down complex initiatives into manageable and independently deliverable increments.
Validate requirements with design, engineering, QA, platform teams, and relevant stakeholders before development begins.
Ensure regulatory, responsible-gambling, accessibility, localization, and market-specific requirements are considered during product definition.
Maintain complete, accurate, and accessible product documentation in Jira and Confluence.

Own and continuously maintain the product backlog.
Prioritize initiatives and backlog items based on customer value, user impact, commercial potential, strategic alignment, risk, effort, and technical dependencies.

Agile Delivery
Work closely with engineering, design, and QA throughout planning, refinement, development, testing, and release.
Ensure the development team understands the product objectives, user needs, requirements, and expected outcomes.
Lead or actively contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and relevant product workshops.
Provide timely clarification and make product decisions during development.

Present recommendations using evidence, product data, competitive analysis, and clearly structured business arguments.
Support client presentations, product demonstrations, sales opportunities, and RFP responses when required.
Product Performance and Continuous Improvement
Define success criteria and measurable KPIs for new features and product initiatives.
Monitor sportsbook metrics such as event-to-bet conversion, betslip completion, bet placement success, click-through rates, engagement, bet frequency, retention, and feature adoption.
Use quantitative data, qualitative feedback, user research, and operational insights to evaluate product performance.
Review delivered features after launch and identify opportunities for optimization.
Work with UX and analytics teams to identify friction, abandonment points, usability issues, and unmet customer needs.
Maintain awareness of sportsbook market developments, competitor products, user-experience patterns, and emerging technologies.
Conduct competitor and feature-comparison analysis to identify meaningful product differentiators.
Propose improvements that strengthen the UXMatrix sportsbook proposition and create measurable value for EveryMatrix clients.

ABOUT ENEBA
At Eneba, we’re building an open, safe and sustainable marketplace for the gamers of today and tomorrow. Our marketplace supports close to 20m+ active users (and growing fast!), provides a level of trust, safety and market accessibility unparalleled to none. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished in such a short time and look forward to sharing this journey with you. Join us as we continue to scale, diversify our portfolio, and grow with the evolving community of gamers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Eneba is hiring an Account Manager to own a portfolio of mobile game publishers on our rewarded network. This is a commercial role with a heavy performance-marketing core: you will be the strategic point of contact for your clients, and you will personally build, launch and optimize the event reward funnels that drive their results.
The best person for this job is someone who is equally comfortable on a QBR call with a client’s Head of UA and in the dashboard at 9pm rebalancing reward tiers on an underperforming event. You will own the end-to-end performance of your accounts — the relationship, the funnel setup, the optimization, and the revenue behind it.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own client relationships. Serve as the day-to-day contact for a portfolio of mobile game publishers, building trusted relationships with UA managers, directors and CMOs, as well as monetization and growth stakeholders.
- Grow your book of business. Expand accounts through cross-sells (bringing additional titles from a client’s portfolio onto the network) and upsells (growing budget and spend on titles already live, and expanding into more geos).
- Set up and evaluate event reward funnels. Design reward structures using industry best practices, understanding event mechanics and payout tiers from scratch; QA them pre-launch and assess whether the funnel economics work for both the client and the network.
- Review performance and optimize events. Monitor live events against KPIs, diagnose drop-off points in the funnel, and make data-led adjustments to reward tiers, targeting, creative and pacing to hit performance targets.
- Act as a strategic advisor. Bring clients benchmarks, category insight and a clear point of view on what to run next — not just a status update on what ran last week.
- Own the invoicing and billing process. Manage the commercial back end of your accounts end-to-end, coordinating with finance to ensure accurate, on-time billing and clean resolution of any discrepancies.
- Plan and run QBRs. Schedule, prepare and deliver quarterly business reviews — virtual or in person — that translate performance data into a forward-looking growth plan.
- Drive client retention. Spot early signals of churn risk, and propose and implement retention strategies that keep accounts growing rather than lapsing.
- Own end-to-end campaign performance. Take full accountability for how your clients’ campaigns perform — from onboarding and setup through to results, reporting and renewal.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years in mobile ad tech in an account management, partner management, customer success or performance/UA role.
- Direct, hands-on experience setting up and optimizing reward funnels. This is the highest priority requirement for this role. You should be able to walk us through a funnel you built, what the reward structure looked like, what underperformed, and exactly what you changed to fix it.
- Strong performance analytics instincts. Comfortable working in dashboards and spreadsheets, and confident with the metrics that matter in this space — conversion rate, completion rate, CPI/CPA, ARPU, ROAS, retention and LTV.
- Commercial ownership. A track record of growing existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell, and comfort holding a revenue or growth number.
PREFERRED
- Rewarded network experience — offerwall, rewarded playtime, or rewarded engagement/events. This is a strong plus and will move a candidate to the top of the pile.
- Experience working directly with mobile game publishers and an understanding of how their UA teams operate.
- Familiarity with MMPs and attribution (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Singular) and with BI/reporting tooling.
- Exposure to the commercial mechanics of a network — margin, payout models, budget pacing and invoicing.
#LI-SC1
What it’s like to work at Eneba
- Opportunity to join our Employee Stock Options program.
- Opportunity to help scale a unique product.
- Various bonus systems: performance-based, referral, additional paid leave, personal learning budget.
- Paid volunteering opportunities.

MEET THE TEAM 👥
Hello 👋 I'm Kyle, VP Finance at Cleo. Im excited to be growing our Finance team as Cleo enters its next stage of scaling.
Finance at Cleo is about much more than reporting the numbers. We help the business understand its economics, make better decisions, allocate capital, and build the financial infrastructure needed to scale.
Today, our team of ~25 spans Controllership, Financial Operations, Treasury, FP&A, Strategic Finance, Capital Markets, and Investor Relations, supported by a dedicated Data Science team working across all areas.
We work closely with teams across Cleo, and we expect our people to understand the business, take real ownership, and master their craft.
It’s an exciting time to join: the company is growing quickly, the problems are getting more interesting, and there is a huge amount still to build.
About the Role ✍️
We are currently hiring a Head of Treasury (L5) reporting to the VP of Finance. As Cleo has scaled, so has the complexity of cash moving through the business - you'll bring together liquidity management, cash forecasting, banking infrastructure, funding operations and FX strategy into a single, scalable treasury function built for a fast-growing consumer lending platform operating across multiple facilities and geographies.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Own Cleo's group-wide liquidity strategy, building short, medium and long-term cash forecasts across entities, currencies and funding sources, and translating them into recommendations on capital allocation and funding needs
- Own daily cash positioning and treasury operations supporting Cleo's lending facilities - drawdowns, repayments, settlements and collateral movements - partnering closely with Capital Markets to ensure facilities run efficiently
- Strengthen cash controls, reconciliations and audit readiness with Core Finance and Finance Operations, and establish treasury policies and governance that support scale and public-company readiness
- Define the roadmap for treasury systems, data and automation, reducing reliance on manual processes, and build clear reporting and dashboards across liquidity, funding capacity and facility utilisation
- Establish operating rhythms across FP&A, Accounting, Capital Markets, Engineering and Operations so cash movements and forecasts are coordinated, transparent and auditable
- Own Cleo's FX strategy - identify and manage currency exposure across a multi-currency, multi-geography business, and run and improve the hedging programme, from setting risk policy to executing hedges and reporting exposure to leadership
- Scope and hire your first Treasury Operations team member, then grow the function as the business does
What We're Looking For 🕵️
- You've built treasury before - stood up or materially transformed a treasury function, not just run one that already existed, in fintech, consumer lending, financial services, or another highly regulated environment
- Consumer-lending fluency, with an understanding of warehouse facilities, borrowing bases, receivables financing, settlement flows and bank partnerships, comfortable supporting multiple concurrent facilities alongside a Capital Markets team
- Hands-on and strategic - you enjoy building from first principles (operating model, controls, systems) and are equally comfortable approving a wire or designing the policy that governs it
- Forecasting and analytical rigour, having built models and frameworks that leadership actually makes decisions on
- Cross-functional influence, able to bring Finance, Accounting, Capital Markets, Engineering, Product and Operations along with you and explain complex treasury concepts to an exec audience
- Bias to action, zero ego - this role exists because complexity is outrunning capacity, and you'll ship a better setup quickly
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer benefits package built to support you in and out of work. Benefits vary by country 🌍 and include meaningful equity, comprehensive health insurance, mental health support, a paid one-month sabbatical after four years, a learning & development platform, pension or retirement contributions, and location-specific leave entitlements.

WHAT MATTERS
Cleo's mission is to change the world's relationship with money. We can't do that without building a brilliant, genuinely diverse team - and making sure our hiring process gives everyone a fair shot, running a fair and transparent recruitment process in which every candidate is considered on their merits.
We're glad to make reasonable adjustments at any stage of the process. If there's anything we can do to support you in showing us your best, please let your recruiter or one of the team know.
We may use AI-assisted tools during the recruitment process to take support the team in different ways like taking notes or referring back to conversations. They do not replace the team and all applications are reviewed by a Cleo employee thoroughly!

Conduct and document product compliance risk assessments covering areas such as regulatory perimeter and licensing, AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC, consumer protection, financial promotions, trading and market conduct, asset safeguarding, data privacy and third-party risk.
Produce clear, concise and evidence-based and solutions-based compliance recommendations setting out identified risks, required mitigants, residual exposure and the proposed approval or escalation route.
Work directly with Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, Central Compliance and local Compliance teams to develop practical and scalable solutions to identified compliance requirements.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation and audit trails for product reviews, decisions, conditions, exceptions, approvals and subsequent changes.
Support post-launch monitoring, control testing and assurance in partnership with Audit, Product and other Compliance teams, and drive remediation of identified issues.
Promote a compliance-by-design culture within the product lifecycle; communicate the Product Compliance framework and program requirements to relevant stakeholders and deliver targeted training or guidance to Product, Engineering and business teams as required.
Support special projects and priority product launches in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment.
What We Look For In You
At least 8 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Legal or Risk within financial services, fintech, payments or the cryptocurrency industry.
Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business, economics, engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Significant hands-on experience in product compliance, regulatory advisory or product risk assessment, including advising on new products and material product changes.
Strong understanding of the digital-asset industry and the products offered by crypto platforms, including trading, custody, payments, staking or earn products, lending, structured products, wallets or DeFi.
Strong working knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements, including licensing and regulatory-perimeter considerations, AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC, consumer protection, financial promotions and trading or market-conduct requirements.
Demonstrated ability to analyze products or initiatives involving significant complexity and risk and translate regulatory requirements into practical product requirements and controls.
Experience in and demonstrated success in leveraging AI-enabled technology to maintain risk assessment standards, including ongoing tuning of agentic skills aligned with the Company’s risk appetite.
Excellent risk judgment and the ability to balance compliance rigor with a pragmatic, risk-based approach that supports responsible commercial outcomes.
Proven ability to develop and deliver repeatable product compliance solutions, controls and review processes aligned with broader group requirements.
Strong project-management and execution skills, including the ability to manage multiple concurrent reviews, maintain accurate documentation and meet product-launch deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clear recommendations and lead discussions with Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, senior management and other Compliance stakeholders.
Strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to influence product decisions and constructively challenge proposals without compromising Compliance rigor.
Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable operating independently within a fast-paced, globally dispersed team.
High personal integrity and sound professional judgment, including the ability to identify when an issue requires escalation.
