Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Product Manager to own the WorkOS Dashboard and help developers get more value from our products. You'll work on the experience of getting started, building an integration, adopting additional capabilities, and expanding usage as a customer's needs grow.
This is a product role with a clear growth mandate. You'll build features and improve workflows that help developers succeed, using customer research and product data to understand where people find value and where they get stuck. You'll own the connection between a better developer experience and outcomes such as activation, adoption, expansion, and retention.
You'll partner closely with engineering and design to shape the Dashboard roadmap and ship improvements. You'll also work across Product, Marketing, Sales, Data, and Finance to connect what developers experience in the product with how WorkOS grows.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the Dashboard product roadmap, with accountability for the developer experience and the growth outcomes it supports.
- Talk to developers and observe how they use the Dashboard alongside APIs, documentation, and the rest of their workflow.
- Build features that help developers get started, complete integrations, discover relevant capabilities, and expand their use of WorkOS.
- Improve onboarding and reduce the time it takes a new developer to get value from the product.
- Identify friction across the customer journey and prioritize opportunities using customer research, product analytics, and business impact.
- Define and track measures of activation, adoption, monetization, expansion, and retention. Use experiments to evaluate changes and decide what to build next.
- Partner with engineering and design to ship clear, useful experiences for technical users.
- Work with Marketing and Sales on product discovery, product-qualified leads, and the path from self-serve adoption to enterprise use.
- Communicate product strategy, priorities, and results clearly across the company.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of meaningful business outcomes.
- Experience building developer tools, API products, infrastructure products, or technical B2B SaaS. You understand developers and how they use dashboards to work with a technical product.
- A track record of shipping features that improve onboarding, activation, adoption, monetization, expansion, or retention.
- Experience with product-led growth and a clear understanding of how product improvements lead to customer and business outcomes.
- Strong product instincts backed by customer research and data, including experience designing and evaluating experiments.
- Experience with API or usage-based pricing models and how they shape the customer experience.
- The ability to make decisions with incomplete information and move quickly with engineering and design.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Data, and Finance.

ABOUT SUPABASE
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for engineers to join the team building Spark, a lightweight implementation of Supabase written in Rust. It runs on an embedded SQLite-based engine with a Postgres-compatible SQL layer, and ships a PostgREST and Auth compatible API, so applications written against @supabase/supabase-js work as-is. It exists because AI builders and platform partners need a database they can give to every prototype without the cost or the wait: sub-second provisioning, a footprint small enough to run inside a sandbox, and an upgrade path to full Supabase when an app graduates to production.
This is a role with a lot of agency. Small team, working product, patterns still to be set. You'll own large areas end to end and make real decisions from day one.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
In this role, you'll:
- Grow API compatibility with the Supabase client, keeping behavior faithful to hosted Supabase and backed by conformance tests
- Bring more of the Supabase stack to Turso/SQLite
- Find and work around gaps in the underlying database engine, with minimal repros and tests
- Build and harden the path for upgrading a project from Spark to full Supabase
- Own the developer experience end to end: the CLI, local tooling, and docs
- Build and harden the hosted offering while keeping the low cost structure in mind, kept loosely coupled so the implementation can be swapped without a rewrite
- Work directly with design partners and turn real-world migration and integration friction into a sharper product
- Engage with the open-source community and contribute back to the broader Supabase stack
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
- Have substantial backend or full-stack experience with strong fluency in Rust, have shipped production Rust, and have built or contributed to a backend system, framework, or developer platform before
- Are a strong generalist, comfortable moving across the stack from API design to storage internals to infrastructure, and picking up whatever the problem needs
- Read unfamiliar code without friction. A lot of the work means studying reference implementations in other languages, such as GoTrue in Go, PostgREST in Haskell, and matching their behavior in Rust
- Have a solid grounding in SQL and relational databases, experience working close to a database engine (transactions, MVCC, type systems), and the curiosity to dig into where Postgres and SQLite differ
- Know Postgres well enough to use it as the reference for correct behavior
- Have run services under tight resource limits (multi-tenant, serverless, or embedded)
- Have a bias toward compatibility and correctness, and reach for tests and specs to prove behavior
- Think around corners. When everyone reaches for the standard playbook, you look for the simpler path that fits a smaller box. You break a complex system down to the 20% that covers 80% of the need, then make it run somewhere far smaller than it was designed for
- Care about developer experience: clean APIs, fast feedback loops, and tooling that makes the right thing the easy thing
- Are comfortable owning ambiguous, early-stage work and making sound calls that inform and define the spec. This is a founding role on a brand-new team
- Are comfortable working in public repositories on a remote, async team
- Communicate clearly in writing
- Bonus: experience with the Supabase stack, building developer CLIs, a track record of open-source maintenance, or contributions to Rust database or web projects
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.
- ESOP
Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together.
- Tech Allowance
Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work.
- Health Benefits
Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us.
- Annual Off-Sites
Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year.
- Flexible Work
We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when.
- Professional Development
Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. We believe our globally distributed team is our secret weapon in building tools developers love.
- ~400 team members
- 60+ countries
- 20+ languages spoken
- Over $1B raised (including our $500M Series F)
- 540,000+ community members
We move fast, build in public, and use what we ship. If it’s in your project, we probably use it in ours too. We believe deeply in the open-source ecosystem and strive to support—not replace—existing tools and communities.

Join OLX and see how far you can go.
This role will be based in Poland, and you need to be residing in the country already.
As an Engineering Manager, you'll lead software engineers building and scaling critical platforms that power the OLX engineering ecosystem. You'll combine strong people leadership with enough technical depth to guide major projects, shape technical direction, and help the team solve complex platform challenges.
This is not a generalist Engineering Manager role. Previous experience leading an engineering team in a Platform environment is mandatory. We need someone who understands what it means to build platforms for other engineers and the unique challenges that come with balancing developer experience, reliability, scalability, standardisation, and team autonomy.
You'll capture requirements, shape ambitious but balanced project scope, lead technical initiatives, and partner across teams to solve technical problems and ensure smooth adoption and implementation of platform solutions. Our Platform environment is a mix of software engineering, APIs, distributed systems, infrastructure, DevOps, scalability, and reliability.
We're looking for someone who can operate at both levels: developing people and leading a Platform team, while providing the technical and organisational leadership needed to make the platform successful.
What you will be doing:
Lead by example and manage a team of talented engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and career development support;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data science and data engineering managers, and product managers to define project goals, scope, and deliverables;
Drive the end-to-end development process, from design to implementation and deployment, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions (with controlled cost);
Identify and prioritize technical initiatives, considering ROI, scalability, and performance requirements;
Implement modern software development practices, including agile methodologies, continuous integration, and deployment, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery;
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the platform meets customer needs and provides an exceptional user experience;
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What you have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field;
Track record of proven people management experience (3+ years) focused on developing and growing people;
5+ years of professional experience in software development.
Proven experience in designing and developing large-scale, high-traffic systems;
Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Streaming architectures);
Strong knowledge of data structures, and software design patterns;
Good understanding and ideally successful application of AI/ML;
Experience with modern software development practices, such as agile methodologies, continuous integration, and deployment;
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Our benefits:
Monthly salary and an annual bonus (20%)
Training and conference budget, and free access to Udemy courses
A benefits package with 300 points on the Mybenefit platform per month, private medical care provided by Luxmed, Ask Henry services, and much more
IP rights’ costs - 60%
100% remote work (as well as the possibility of working from our offices in Poznan and Warsaw)
At OLX, we unlock value in our people. We invest in ourselves and each other to reach our full potential. We avoid bureaucracy and empower our teams to innovate; with opportunities, training and leadership behaviors a focus for all. Our commitment to inclusion ensures we listen to a diverse range of voices when making decisions. And, we combine the spirit and agility of a startup with our global scale and the backing of Prosus, one of the largest consumer internet groups in the world.
We also unlock value for our stakeholders. We are proud of the positive contribution we make to our planet, by enabling more conscious consumption and helping the world make the most of its limited resources through more efficient trade.
And last but not least, we love to unlock value for our customers. Every single month, over 300 million people use our platforms to easily, safely, and conveniently find their perfect home, buy or sell a car, find a great job, sell things they no longer need, or strike a great deal on something they need. And we help thousands of entrepreneurs and businesses find their customers too.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at OLX
OLX values diversity and welcomes applicants of all races, ethnicities, disabilities, ages, genders, sexual orientations, religions, backgrounds, and experiences to apply. If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet all the requirements - you may be just the right fit for this or other opportunities with us!
OLX will process your personal data to assess your fit for the applied position. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Notion is building the collaborative AI workspace teams use to think, plan, and execute. Our partner ecosystem is a key multiplier for our global revenue engine. As our founding Partner Marketing Manager, you’ll build the co-marketing motion with our partners—designing campaigns that show the combined value of Notion + our ecosystem and turning partner enablement into measurable, partner-driven pipeline. You’ll work in lockstep with Partnerships, Product Marketing, and regional sales leaders to ensure partners can tell the Notion story consistently across channels.
This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Set and run Notion’s partner co-marketing strategy across resellers, services partners, and strategic technology/AI partners.
- Launch end-to-end joint campaigns (e.g., webinars, whitepapers, case studies, digital events) that drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline.
- Build partner enablement that travels (pitch decks, one-pagers, positioning/competitive guides) so external teams can sell Notion with confidence.
- Own a clear MDF operating model (intake, prioritization, budget allocation, approvals) and invest in the activations that produce the highest ROI.
- Track performance and report results using CRM + marketing analytics, tying programs to pipeline and revenue.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Track record building partner/channel marketing programs from zero to repeatable motion, with clear examples and measurable outcomes.
- Strong campaign and content craft: ability to translate product value into crisp partner value propositions that work across channels.
- Analytical operating discipline: comfort with pipeline attribution, CRM workflows, and reporting that stands up to revenue scrutiny.
- Cross-functional leadership and influence across Partnerships, Product Marketing, and Sales; strong judgment in prioritization and trade-offs.
- AI-fluent working style: uses AI tools to plan, draft, analyze, QA, and scale throughput—while maintaining high standards of craft.
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated base salary range for this role is $235,000-$260,000 per year.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

This role will help shape our relationship strategy with donors giving seven- to ten-figure gifts and will have significant influence over how GiveWell’s philanthropy function grows and evolves. You will manage and advise a portfolio of our largest donors, serve as a leader within our philanthropy team, and be a thought partner to our senior leadership team.
Why We’re Hiring Now
Many of our donors are analytical, quantitative thinkers, and their deep engagement with our research makes our work better. We've built a philanthropy team to match. We take the time to understand what our donors value, we treat their giving as a true partnership, and we invest in learning our own research deeply so we can help donors do the same. We measure our relationships in years, not quarters.
We face a historic opportunity to scale giving to high-impact causes and to save and improve lives around the world. To meet this moment, we are engaging a new generation of major philanthropists, while strengthening the partnerships model that has made our existing donor relationships so productive. We believe that deepening our philanthropic partnerships with our current and future major donors is one of the highest-leverage actions GiveWell can take to ensure significantly more funding for some of the world’s most cost-effective programs.
What You’ll Do
Build long-term, trust-based relationships with major donors that deepen donors’ understanding of GiveWell’s work.
Proactively identify the insights, data points, and narratives from GiveWell’s research that are most relevant to major donor decision-making.
Drive and lead team-wide initiatives and significant projects to make our work accessible, from learning journey design, playbooks, and systems to donor events and donor communications.
Translate GiveWell’s research into original donor-facing content that makes our work accessible to analytically sophisticated, time-poor major donors.
Serve as a strategic advisor to GiveWell’s leadership.
Drive improvements to our philanthropy culture, systems, and processes to improve how our philanthropy function operates and scales.
About You
You understand how people translate their values into action. You're comfortable connecting with a wide range of people, from the donor who wants to deeply understand every assumption in our model to the donor who wants a high-trust, low-friction recommendation they can act on quickly, and everyone in between.
Your background includes significant experience earning trust with discerning, analytic people, where you are a partner in somebody else's high-stakes decisions. You've experienced navigating this, not by telling them what to do, but by helping them think clearly and get the right information to support what they're trying to accomplish. You know how to help people navigate doubt and complexity. You are comfortable both bringing a clear point of view (for example, by saying, "Here's what I would do") and helping people strengthen their own judgment over time.
You are excited by intellectually demanding work. You are ready to engage with complex global health topics, including our cost-effectiveness models, program evaluation, and evidence quality. You are driven to get up to speed and be ready to explain them clearly to audiences who will push back on our thinking. You are excited to engage with hard follow-up questions and people who will expect rigorous answers. While you don't need prior global health experience, you will need to demonstrate you can get up to speed quickly on complex quantitative subject matter and translate it rigorously and credibly.
You bring high emotional intelligence, curiosity, and a clear sense of mission to your day-to-day work. You’re a collaborator who connects dots and builds relationships across teams.
You bring depth of leadership experience, and you are comfortable supporting strategic decisions and rolling up your sleeves to build and shape our work. You are ready to bring adaptive energy to this work while being comfortable deeply explaining your reasoning and taking time to reach high-quality decisions where it matters.
Strong candidates will have:
A track record of managing sophisticated, high-stakes relationships—whether with major donors, ultra-high-net-worth clients, foundation officers, board members, or similarly discerning stakeholders in another field entirely.
Exceptional relationship management skills, with high emotional intelligence, an advisory mindset, and the ability to hold a large amount of context about a person and synthesize it in real time.
Interest in global health and development, and the ability to engage in complex research and ideas even without prior experience in the sector.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal—clear, tailored, and credible messaging for discerning stakeholders, including comfort producing original written content.
Leadership skills to partner with senior staff and influence across teams collaboratively.
Strong operational expertise: leading cross-team projects, building scalable processes, and translating strategy into action.
Strong alignment with GiveWell’s mission and values, including truth-seeking, transparency, humility, and long-term trust-building.
Who Tends to do well:
People who enjoy building relationships and understanding what motivates the people they work with
People who can engage thoughtful, analytical audiences and handle nuanced conversations
Fast learners who can pick up complex, unfamiliar subject matter and enjoy translating it verbally and into written content
Self-starters who take ownership and work well in a collaborative, evolving team
People who are proactive and anticipatory—who reach out before the other person knows they need something
People who are comfortable sitting with complexity and helping others navigate uncertainty
People who are enthusiastic about GiveWell's mission and values
Key Questions
What are some of the reasons I might not like this role?
You prefer research or analysis over building relationships with people
You struggle with initiating challenging or direct conversations
You prefer highly structured environments with clear answers at all times
You prefer to share information and let others draw conclusions, rather than offering their own synthesis and point of view
What does this interview process entail?
We'll use a combination of interviews, written exercises, and work trials to assess the qualities described above. We'll share more specific details if we invite you to move forward to any of the following stages, but our current plan is:
Screen with our Manager, Talent Acquisition
Compensated 4-hour work trial (written)
Interviews with our VP, Philanthropy and Senior Manager, Philanthropy
Additional work trial (live interview) with our VP, Philanthropy and a Senior Philanthropy Advisor
Final Onsite in our Oakland, California headquarters, where you’ll interview with members of our executive leadership team in person (we will cover your travel expenses).

About GiveWell
GiveWell is dedicated to finding and evaluating highly cost-effective global health and development opportunities, and we publish all the work, reasoning, and uncertainties behind our funding decisions. Our
giving funds
enable donors to contribute to the most impactful and cost-effective programs our researchers identify.
GiveWell is one of the world’s largest private funders of global development efforts. Trusted annually by tens of thousands of donors, GiveWell searches for highly cost-effective programs that save or improve lives the most. Since 2007, more than 150,000 donors have given over $2.6 billion through GiveWell to the most promising programs its research has identified, which we estimate will save more than
340,000 lives
.
GiveWell is most well-known for recommending a small number of
Top Charities
, which currently support
seasonal malaria chemoprevention
,
insecticide-treated nets
,
vaccine incentivization
, and
vitamin A supplementation
. However, most of our research capacity and grantmaking is devoted to
cost-effective opportunities outside of those programs
.
GiveWell
grants
have:
Helped governments
navigate changes to the funding landscape
and implement high-impact health programs, like
HIV/syphilis screening and treatment
for pregnant people in Zambia and Cameroon.
Sought to scope and scale promising interventions that don’t have clear existing implementers. We are supporting the
Clinton Health Access Initiative’s Incubator
to identify potentially cost-effective interventions and create programs that we would be excited to support in the future. For example, we
funded a program
to prevent tuberculosis among young children in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, India, that we co-designed with CHAI through the Incubator program.
Provided funding to ensure that programs that recently faced foreign aid funding cuts could continue, like
healthcare support and malnutrition treatment
in northern Cameroon.
Funded program delivery alongside strengthened monitoring and evaluation, as in our grants to support
treatment of clubfoot
and to
evaluate the program
.
Tested our
assumptions and refined our understanding
through further research and data collection, including
improved estimates of disease burden
and studies on
the effect of water chlorination on mortality
and
the impact of a tree-planting program on farmers’ income
.
We make our reasoning public and transparent so others can challenge it (sometimes we even
pay people to point out our errors
). We go to unusual lengths to check our assumptions and assess our impact, including
funding research
to address our uncertainties and gathering
independent monitoring and evaluation data
about the programs we support. We
change
our minds when the evidence demands it. For more about GiveWell, listen to Ezra Klein’s
recent interview
with GiveWell’s co-founder and CEO Elie Hassenfeld.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Notion is building the connected workspace that teams everywhere use to think, plan, and ship — and our partner ecosystem is central to how we grow in the UK market. As Regional Partner Manager for UK, you'll own our partner relationships across the region, working closely with our London sales team to drive revenue through value-added resellers, hyperscaler ecosystems, and local services partners.
This is a builder role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment. You'll be the architect of Notion's UK partner motion — standing up programs, forging relationships, and converting partner activity into measurable pipeline. You'll operate across multiple partner types simultaneously and serve as the connective tissue between our ecosystem and our sales team.
The ideal candidate brings a hunter's instinct to partnerships: proactive, commercially sharp, and energised by the challenge of building something meaningful in a market with real momentum. You'll work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and regional leadership — and you'll be a visible face of Notion in the UK partner community.
WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE
- Own and grow Notion's UK partner ecosystem across value-added resellers, cloud/hyperscaler partnerships, and local services partners
- Build and execute joint go-to-market programs with regional VARs and solutions partners
- Manage Notion's hyperscaler partnerships in the UK, overseeing cloud marketplace deal flow and co-sell motions
- Align partner activity directly to the UK sales team's pipeline — facilitating introductions, mapping accounts, and driving resell and co-sell opportunities to close
- Coordinate joint initiatives that bring together reseller partners and hyperscaler ecosystems for combined enterprise programs
- Develop and maintain strong executive relationships with partner leadership across the region, becoming a trusted extension of their go-to-market teams
- Track and report on partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline; present program performance to internal stakeholders and EMEA regional leadership
- Support services delivery by local partners on an ad-hoc basis, helping maintain quality and partner satisfaction
- Identify and qualify inbound partnership opportunities, and proactively surface new partner relationships that can expand Notion's reach in the UK
- Collaborate with Notion's global and EMEA partner teams to adapt programs to the local market and share learnings across regions
SKILLS YOU’LL NEED TO BRING
- 10+ years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, or alliances in the enterprise SaaS or cloud software industry
- Demonstrated experience managing both VAR/reseller programs and at least one cloud or hyperscaler partnership — comfort across both partner types is essential
- A builder's track record: you've stood up partner programs and can point to outcomes you drove
- Strong demand generation orientation
- Commercially sharp with the ability to connect partner activity to revenue outcomes
- Highly collaborative and effective working alongside direct sales teams — you understand what reps need, and you make their lives easier
- Executive presence and strong relationship-building skills; you're as comfortable presenting to a partner CRO as you are coordinating logistics with a partner marketing manager
- Experience working in or alongside hyper-growth or startup environments — you're comfortable with ambiguity and moving fast without a complete playbook
- Based in London with existing knowledge of the UK technology market; willingness to travel across EMEA and occasionally across EMEA
- Strong organisational and operational discipline — you manage multiple active partner relationships without dropping balls, and you communicate proactively
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with cloud marketplace programs and hyperscaler co-sell motions
- Familiarity with product-led growth (PLG) or bottoms-up SaaS go-to-market models
- Existing relationships with UK-based VARs, systems integrators, or hyperscaler partner teams
- Cross-market EMEA experience — e.g. managing partnerships across EMEA regions simultaneously
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role's scope and complexity, and the candidate's experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. The estimated range for total on target earnings (including base salary and on target incentive pay) for this role is £162,000 - £190,000 per year.

If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
We are seeking a Senior Developer on our Open Source Team, focused on strengthening 1Password's open source posture and making our developer tools easy to use directly inside developers' workflows through agentic IDE integrations: our Agent Hooks and IDE plugins. You'll serve as a technical leader on the team, owning architectural decisions and driving cohesive execution on medium-to-large projects, from initial planning through development and into customer support.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
- Significant professional software development experience, with a track record of independently owning and delivering medium-to-large technical projects end to end.
- Advanced, hands-on command of a modern development toolchain (Git, IDEs, terminal, debugging and testing tools) and the languages relevant to the team's work; comfortable reading, writing, and reviewing others' code.
- Experience designing extensible, maintainable systems, ideally developer tooling, IDE extensions, agent integrations, or actively maintained open source projects.
- Demonstrated ability to set technical direction and make architectural decisions that keep products scalable, secure, and high quality.
- A track record of working effectively in public, engaging with external contributors and upholding a high quality bar in community-facing repositories.
- Interest in agent-assisted development and building tools to make agent-assisted development smoother and more secure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make a project's impact and progress visible to engineering, product, and design stakeholders.
- A security-minded approach consistent with 1Password's principles.
Bonus points for:
- Experience maintaining a popular open source project or running open source community engagement.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled or agentic IDEs (e.g., Cursor) and the emerging agent-hook ecosystem.
- Experience contributing to an Open Source Program Office (OSPO) or similar function.
What you can expect:
- Contribute large new features, significant product improvements, and critical bug fixes, such as extending our Agent Hooks across IDEs or building genuine in-IDE value beyond links to external docs.
- Make architectural decisions that keep our integrations and public repositories scalable, secure, and aligned to 1Password's existing security and authentication models.
- Contribute to the team's roadmap by identifying technical opportunities and risks up to ~6 months out, then lead execution aligned to team objectives.
- Raise the quality bar by identifying lapses in code quality and gaps in testing coverage, anticipating and reporting potential problems, and fostering a high standard of documentation across community-facing repositories.
- Ensure alignment with cross-functional partners (Partnerships, Product, UX, and the SDK/CLI teams), translating requirements into actionable work.
- Drive initiatives that better support 1Password customers on your platform and mitigate issues developers face.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment by modeling best practices, providing constructive feedback, and supporting a sense of shared ownership.
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $153,000 USD and $214,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $144,000 CAD and $202,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process.
Our approach to remote work
We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of almost all roles, and we require our employees to be ready and willing to take part. About The Team
Own the account backbone of a CeFi platform trusted by
millions
— login, registration, account security, MFA, Passkey — where a single security regression is measured in real user funds. The more senior you are, the more you set the technical direction others build on.
What You'll Be Doing
Own account-system subsystems end-to-end
— authentication, MFA, Passkey/WebAuthn, session & device trust, account registration and recovery — including architecture, tradeoffs, and long-term evolution.
Design flows that are
secure and low-friction at millions-of-DAU scale
— the hardest tradeoff in this space.
Partner with risk & security teams to turn threat models into shipped mobile defenses.
Build our AI-native engineering practice
— design automated development workflows and harness systems (agents, evals, guardrails, CI integration) that let AI do real engineering work, while
safeguarding delivery quality and efficiency
.
Raise the bar
through design and code review, and by making the engineers around you better.
At the Staff level: set technical direction beyond your own subsystem and drive cross-team, cross-timezone decisions that shape the account platform.
What We Look For In You
Deep, hands-on experience building
native iOS and/or Android
— you understand the platform, not just a framework on top of it.
Experience with a
cross-platform / shared business-logic layer
. We build ours in
Rust + UniFFI
; direct Rust-on-mobile experience is a strong plus, but experience with any shared-logic approach —
KMP, Flutter, or React Native
— transfers well and is valued.
Fluent in at least one of:
Swift / Kotlin / Rust / Objective-C / Java / JavaScript
, with strong CS fundamentals.
Architecture experience with large-scale mobile apps
— you've applied maintainable design patterns and own solutions from requirements through to production.
Hands-on with
mobile authentication & security
— OAuth/OIDC, MFA, secure storage (Keychain/Keystore), biometrics.
Direct experience with Passkey / WebAuthn / FIDO2 is a strong advantage
— it's live in our stack and central to what you'll work on.
Solid grasp of threat modeling and the mobile attack surface.
You apply AI deeply in your own engineering — not just code generation
. You've built, or are driven to build, automated development workflows and harnesses that make delivery
both faster and more reliable
. Solid grasp of LLM fundamentals, prompt engineering, RAG, and agent concepts, with hands-on experience taking an AI pipeline from scratch to shipped.
Comfortable with
ambiguity and high scale
— you've debugged problems that only appear under real production load.
Signals we value: you naturally
raise the standard of teams you join
, mentor without being asked, and can grow into a technical anchor for the group.
Nice-To-Haves
Fraud
/ risk, cryptography, or regulated-industry (fintech)
experience.
Experience with
mini-program or dynamic/hot-update frameworks
.
Crypto trading / Web3 experience.
Perks & Benefits
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
Various team building programs and company events
Wellness and meal allowances
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
More that we love to tell you along the process!
Please note that Hong Kong is a group-level service hub, and
