We are looking for a Compliance Operations Manager to take end-to-end ownership of traffic and content compliance across one of our digital platforms.
You will develop and operate a scalable compliance framework for monitoring affiliate partners and digital traffic sources, identifying prohibited or risk activity, investigating incidents, and continuously improving preventive and detective controls.
This is a hands-on ownership role for someone who can independently assess risks, establish effective processes, and turn compliance requirements into practical operational and technical solutions. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Legal, Risk, and commercial teams.
Job Responsibilities
Own, develop, and update the traffic and content compliance framework, policies, SOPs, and risk-scoring mechanisms.
Audit digital traffic channels, landing pages, and promotional materials to detect prohibited content, cloaking, redirect manipulation, and suspicious attribution patterns.
Lead root-cause investigations into compliance violations, coordinate corrective actions, enforce partner restrictions, and track remediation.

Track compliance metrics, analyse recurring risk trends, and deliver clear, decision-ready reporting to management.
Ensure documentation remains audit-ready for payment partners and regulators; stay updated on payment-network and industry regulatory shifts.
Provide functional direction and quality standards for compliance analysts, and deliver internal training on monitoring and enforcement processes.
You’ll thrive here if you have
5+ years in Compliance Operations, Risk, Fraud Prevention, or Traffic Quality (hands-on experience in traffic compliance, affiliate marketing, and ad networks required).
Solid understanding of tracking signals (URLs, redirects, referrers, cookies, device fingerprints) and ability to assess risk using incomplete attribution data.
Proven background conducting operational audits, implementing SOPs/compliance policies, and managing root-cause incident investigations.
Experienced in team leadership, managing cross-functional initiatives, and translating compliance needs into Product, Engineering, and Data requirements.
Ability to define compliance KPIs, build clear executive reports, and make sound, analytical decisions under pressure.
Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of payment provider, acquiring bank, or card network compliance standards.
Experience detecting cloaking, brand misuse, redirect manipulation, and prohibited content.
Familiarity with OSINT, web scraping, SQL/Python, BI tools, or LLM-based automation.

What Success Looks Like
A risk-based traffic and content compliance framework is actively implemented and enforced.

Automated and manual monitoring controls effectively reduce repeat violations.
Management receives clear, data-driven visibility into traffic compliance risks.
All processes, evidence, and records remain continuously audit-ready for external partners.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we're delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we're building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It's an exciting time to join us: we're creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
About the Role
Fivetran and dbt Labs are building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We're looking for a senior software engineer to join our Orchestration team, which owns the control plane layer of the dbt platform — the scheduler, execution harness, and results processing.
You'll own the design and delivery of features end to end, working across high-throughput APIs and data models to make them faster, more reliable, and more capable. You'll write and review designs, raise the quality bar in code review, use the latest AI tools, and collaborate closely with product and QE to deliver work that scales.
Technologies You'll Use
Python, Rust, GraphQL, Postgres, Snowflake, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, Datadog
What You'll Do
Design and implement features and performance improvements across the Orchestration team's services — the scheduler, execution harness, and results processing
Develop, maintain, and test high-quality, maintainable code, and optimize critical paths for performance
Write technical designs for feature-level work, actively seek feedback, and clearly explain the trade-offs of your decisions
Participate in and review technical designs and pull requests, providing constructive feedback to the team
Improve test coverage with comprehensive unit tests and refactor code to drive down tech debt
Troubleshoot and debug production issues, and follow up on incidents with post-mortems and mitigation plans
Break features into tasks, structure and execute your own project plans, and contribute to sprint and feature planning
Collaborate with product managers, QE, customer support, and peers to deliver the best product with high quality, performance, and scalability
Participate periodically in the on-call rotation, and be mindful of security throughout your work
Use AI tooling — IDE assistants like GitHub Copilot, coding agents like Claude Code, and conversational AI — to accelerate development and to author and review SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Skills We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in the software industry with a passion for solving complex software engineering problems, including designing and building backend services and reusable components from the ground up
Experience working with distributed systems and cloud computing concepts
Demonstrated ability to write well-structured, performant, and well-tested code
Ability to independently lead feature-level software and design work that satisfies project requirements, and to clearly explain design trade-offs
Can identify design flaws in existing systems and propose improvements
Experience with code reviews, design, troubleshooting, and testing
Proficiency in a modern backend or systems language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with continuous integration tooling such as BuildKite, and familiarity with observability tools like Datadog or Grafana is a plus
Fluent in using AI code assistants and coding agents to generate and investigate code, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to research, author, review, and synthesize SDLC artifacts
Bonus Skills
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based data platforms
Experience building or working with metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem

Location: United States (Remote)
Global Trade Compliance Manager
Operations · Full-time · Remote (United States) · Hours 9am - 5pm EST
About Nysonian:
Nysonian is one of the fastest-growing consumer portfolios, behind NOBL and Flo Pilates. We grew over 8x in 2025 and are building the next phase of the business across physical products, software, and subscription experiences.
NOBL is a functional travel brand built around a simple idea. Travel products should solve real problems, not just look better. Every feature is designed to eliminate friction from the travel experience, from seamless organization and easy access to tracking, connectivity, and protection.
Flo Pilates brings studio-quality Pilates into the home through connected fitness hardware, content, and subscription experiences.
Across both brands, we are building product ecosystems that deepen the customer relationship beyond the initial purchase and create recurring value over time. We are looking for builders who want ownership, speed, and the ability to shape products at scale.
The Opportunity:
Nysonian is hiring a Global Trade Compliance Manager to to own the company's end-to-end import/export compliance program across all origin and destination markets. This role is responsible for export documentation and compliance out of China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia, and for import/customs clearance compliance into the UAE, UK, EU, Australia, Canada, the USA, and Mexico — including HS/HTS classification, importer- of-record (or equivalent) obligations, and duty/tariff management in each jurisdiction, to a standard of 100% compliance. The role works closely with the China/Southeast Asia buying and sourcing teams, the Mexico manufacturing facility, customs brokers and freight forwarders in each market, and surety/bond providers, to keep shipments compliant and identify and resolve compliance risk before it becomes a liability.
What You'll Own:
Own end-to-end export documentation and compliance for shipments originating from China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and each origin country's export licensing/permit requirements.
Own end-to-end import and customs clearance compliance for shipments into the UAE (Dubai Customs / GCC), UK (post-Brexit customs, EORI), EU (EU customs union, EORI), Australia (Australian Border Force), Canada (CBSA), the USA (CBP), and Mexico (SAT/Aduana).
Manage and maintain HS/HTS code classifications across the full product catalog for NOBL Travel, Flo Pilates, and other Nysonian brands, mapping classifications correctly to each destination market's tariff schedule.
Act as the primary point of contact for the customs clearance process in each market, coordinating directly with local customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and customs authorities to resolve entry issues, holds, and requests for information.
Manage Importer of Record (or equivalent, e.g., EORI holder) responsibilities and obligations in every import market, maintaining 100% compliance with each jurisdiction's customs regulations, bonded entry requirements, and recordkeeping standards.
Monitor and manage customs surety bonds and guarantees where applicable (e.g., the U.S. bond program with Avalon Risk Management), including bond sufficiency, claims, and provider relationships, and lead resolution of any bond or liquidated damages matters.
Lead the response to customs compliance actions and enforcement notices from any origin or destination authority (e.g., CBP liquidated damages notices, requests for information), coordinating internally and with outside counsel or brokers as needed.
Identify and apply free trade agreement and preference programs to reduce duty exposure (e.g., USMCA, EU/UK- Vietnam FTA, ASEAN trade agreements, GCC arrangements, AANZFTA), and assess rules-of-origin risk — particularly for products manufactured in Mexico with components sourced from China, where dual-origin
exposure exists.
Monitor changes in tariff policy, trade agreements, and trade remedy actions (e.g., U.S. Section 301/232, EU CBAM, safeguard duties) across all markets, and translate them into landed-cost impact and mitigation recommendations for leadership.
Partner with the China/Southeast Asia buying teams and the Mexico manufacturing facility to ensure sourcing, bill-of-materials, and country-of-origin documentation support accurate classification and compliant entries in every market.
Build and maintain internal SOPs, recordkeeping systems, and training materials to standardize export and import compliance practices across all origin and destination countries.
Prepare compliance reporting and risk summaries for leadership, flagging open exposures by country (e.g., open enforcement cases, bond claims) and recommended next steps.
Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in international trade compliance spanning both export (Asia-origin) and import compliance across multiple destination markets, ideally supporting a consumer goods or e-commerce company.
Hands-on experience with HS/HTS classification and customs entry processes across more than one jurisdiction (e.g., US, UK/EU, Canada, Australia, or GCC).
Working knowledge of Importer of Record / EORI-equivalent obligations, customs bonds/guarantees, and customs enforcement actions (e.g., CBP liquidated damages, CF-28/CF-29 notices).
Familiarity with rules of origin under USMCA and other applicable free trade agreements, including multi-country manufacturing scenarios (e.g., China-origin components assembled in Mexico).
Experience working with customs brokers and freight forwarders across multiple countries, and coordinating export procedures with factories/sourcing offices in China, Vietnam, Thailand, or Cambodia.
Strong attention to detail and comfort owning compliance outcomes independently across jurisdictions, with a track record of driving issues to resolution.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and time zones in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America.
Licensed Customs Broker (LCB), CCS/CBIP, or an equivalent international trade compliance certification is a plus but not required.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
ABOUT THE TECH, MEDIA & TELECOM TEAM
- We work with some of the world's most influential and recognizable companies, from global telecommunications providers and leading media brands to technology platforms that power businesses worldwide.
- We build agents for the moments that matter, helping our customers rise to the occasion when service disruptions, major product launches, or global events like the World Cup https://www.linkedin.com/posts/claybavor_at-sierra-we-are-very-proud-to-have-partnered-activity-7491200203899760641-I27d?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAABYjELMBZfjrg-wrv53M1tVXGe93FF3eTww drive millions of customer interactions.
- We bring Sierra’s Horizon https://sierra.ai/product/horizon vision to TMT by building agents that transform the entire customer relationship:
- Telecommunications: Turn one of the most frustrating customer experiences into one of the most personal, with agents that understand each subscriber, optimize their plan and savings, anticipate opportunities to add value, and earn their loyalty over time.
- Media: Turn every subscription into an ongoing, personalized relationship, with agents that help each subscriber get the most from their experience through the right content, offer, plan, and support from their free trial through retention.
- Technology: Bring the white-glove customer experience traditionally reserved for the largest enterprise accounts to every customer, helping them adopt the product, discover new ways to get value, expand their usage, and successfully renew.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and deliver production-grade AI agents https://sierra.ai/blog/meet-the-ai-agent-engineer: You'll build and ship highly performant, reliable, and intuitive AI agents that are central, mission-critical and drive revenue directly to Sierra's growth. - Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle https://sierra.ai/blog/agent-development-life-cycle (ADLC): You'll have complete ownership and autonomy from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration. You'll be responsible for building, tuning, and evolving AI agents in production environments, defining the standard for ADLC best practices along the way.
- Partner with large enterprises and cutting-edge startups: You’ll work directly with leaders at some of the world’s largest enterprises to understand their most pressing business challenges, and build AI agents that transform how they operate at scale. You'll also partner with the most cutting-edge startups in Silicon Valley, embedding AI agents across their entire business stack to drive innovation and efficiency.

- Build agents that troubleshoot deeply integrated telecommunications and connected-device experiences, reasoning across account, billing, network, and device systems to diagnose issues and take the actions needed to resolve them.
- Experiment with new voice experiences and Voice Personas https://sierra.ai/blog/introducing-voice-personas tailored to each brand, customer, and moment, bringing the right empathy, energy, and conversational style to everything from navigating a frustrating telecom billing issue to helping someone discover their next favorite show or find the plan that's right for them.

We help our customers maximize the lifetime value of their guests and build products to delight guests at every touchpoint.
- We’re a small and scrappy team, and we support each other with any deliverables we have to meet. Every engineer on TTH is also a product-led thinker; every PM on TTH is tinkering and developing tangible prototypes; and every strategist on TTH is capable of owning an agent end to end. ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses.
ABOUT THE PUBLIC SECTOR TEAM
- Sierra recently received FedRAMP High https://sierra.ai/blog/certified-fedramp-high certification, enabling us to bring our industry-leading technology to partners in the US public sector. We’re now building our founding public sector team to redefine the relationship between the government and its citizenry.
- Today, our agents already enable citizens to access social services, report fraud, and understand complex government systems. Simultaneously, they empower government officials to better hear the concerns and inquiries of their constituencies.
- We are explicitly nonpartisan and committed to empowering public servants to leverage AI to advance their important missions.
- In our journey, we are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and Family. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and build production-grade AI agents for government institutions at the Federal and state level.
- Partner closely with industry leadership to build our public sector team, including our capture motion, market strategy, and product components to scale quickly.
- Work closely with institutions to understand their most urgent needs and identify novel opportunities to expand our impact - for example through outbound contacts or long-horizon agents.
- Build the future of the platform: Your direct work with public sector customers will guide the evolution of Sierra's core platform. You'll surface unmet needs, prototype new tools and features, and collaborate with research, product, and platform to shape the future of AI agent development.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Full stack software development skills and familiarity with AI development processes.
- A passion for public sector work and a faith in the potential of our institutions to transform outcomes for their constituents.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand their needs and solve real-world problems. A core part of the role is coordinating directly with public servants at our partners to understand their workflows.
EVEN BETTER…
- Experience building conversational or long-horizon agents using proprietary or open source frameworks.
- Demonstrated track record ambiguity, for example as part of a founding team, new initiative at a large enterprise, forward deployed engineering, or elsewhere.
- A prior understanding of government work and its complexities, including procurement, regulation, and patterns of partnership.
