Workplace: OnSite
Almaty, Kazakhstan · Growth Engineering
WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
Higgsfield's Growth team runs on an internal platform. We need a Business Engineer to turn operational bottlenecks into software, from the data model and API to the screens the team uses every day. You own features through launch, adoption and production support.
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
- Turn growth team problems into useful features. Define a small first release and build it across backend and frontend.
- Own database schemas, query performance and safe migrations on a live database.
- Build third-party integrations that handle API quotas, rate limits, retries and webhooks.
- Make payment and messaging workflows safe to retry, without duplicate payouts or sends, and keep an audit trail.
- Ship LLM features and measure quality, latency and cost per result.
- Own environments, releases, monitoring, security and access. Share on-call responsibility.
- Define success metrics, track adoption after launch and improve what you ship.
MUST-HAVES
- Production experience. You've built and operated backend systems and can explain your decisions, personal contribution and results.
- Strong Python and full-stack delivery. You build backend services and React screens when a feature needs them.
- Deep PostgreSQL knowledge. Data modeling, query plans, indexes, transactions, locking and migrations on live databases.
- API security. Authentication, object-level authorization and role isolation. You prevent IDOR on reads and writes and test access as different users.
- Hands-on operations. Linux, containers, CI/CD, monitoring and debugging production from logs. You can run what you build.
- High agency and ownership. You find worthwhile problems, remove blockers and follow through without waiting for assignments.
- Low ego. You welcome direct feedback, admit mistakes and change your mind with evidence.
- Energy for an intense pace. The team ships daily, priorities shift and urgent production issues can need you outside regular hours.
OUR TECH STACK
- Languages: Python and TypeScript.
- Backend: Python and Node.js services, REST APIs, background workers and scheduled jobs.
- Frontend: React with server-side rendering.
- Data: PostgreSQL and S3-compatible object storage.
- Infrastructure: Linux, Docker and GitHub Actions CI/CD.
- AI: LLM APIs from major providers.
- Quality: Static typing, linters and automated tests in both languages.
Bonus experience: Influencer marketing, affiliate programs or creator payouts; large-scale YouTube data within API quotas; email outreach and deliverability; LLM evaluations, prompt regression sets and cost tracking.
INTERVIEW PROCESS
1. Recruiter screen: role expectations, logistics and fit.
2. Technical interview: a difficult system you shipped, what you personally decided and built, and how your work made the team more capable without leaving it dependent on you.
3. Practical task: a real problem from our backlog, under NDA. You design the data model and API, write the core of it and explain your trade-offs.
4. Product interview: turn a growth team problem into a small first release, decide what to leave out and explain how feedback would change it.
5. Offer.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
We are hiring a Technical Program Manager to lead high priority safety and security programs which advance defense in depth for agents, which we have
written about publicly
.
You will be the lead TPM coordinating work across teams to strengthen how we develop and deploy agents safely and securely, and to bring what we build internally to customers and partners so everyone has the tools to safely and securely use Claude. You will be responsible for leading meetings with executives and technical leads, maintaining complex project plans, identifying and addressing risks, developing metrics, and communicating to the company and our customers about this work.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the roadmap
- Maintain and extend the existing roadmap for all work contributing to this effort across the company and implement approaches to ensure accuracy and relevance amidst a fast operational tempo.
Turn program goals into measurable exit criteria at each phase of the work
- To do this well you’ll need to be responsive to new developments in capabilities and the threat landscape, both of which are evolving fast. Maintain key metrics and dashboards.

- Chair the leads meetings, working group meetings, design reviews, and executive check-ins. Record decisions and actions, disseminate sitreps quickly and regularly, and follow up until open issues close.
Lead executive and contributor communication
- Drive conversations, write regular reports, contribute to design documents, and produce decisional documents as needed. Say plainly what is on track, what is not, and where help is needed.

Lead through other TPMs
- Coordinate subject matter specific TPMs and engineering managers who do not report to you. Set shared standards, spot coverage gaps, and step in to augment capacity where needed.
Take coordination load off technical leaders
- Find owners for cross-team problems, frame tradeoffs across Security, Safeguards, Research, Privacy, Legal, and Product, manage staffing tasks, and organize exercises that test our controls.
Maintain industry context
- Track relevant incidents, capabilities shifts, and research across frontier labs, and understand the key risks they reveal. Bring those lessons into our threat model, roadmap, and risk register.
You may be a good fit if you:
Have led company-wide technical programs, especially a company-wide security program, with multiple workstreams, executive sponsors, and other program managers rolling up to you.
Have a strong background in at least one of the program's domains: agent or infrastructure security, ML classifiers and monitoring, evaluations, inference infrastructure, protecting an organization’s most sensitive data, or shipping security controls to customers. You know the terminology and can ramp up on the rest quickly.
Have worked closely with ML research teams and understand how models are trained and evaluated.
Work independently. You set direction without waiting for instructions and know when to make decisions and when to escalate.
Can command a room and hold senior engineers, researchers, and executives accountable without formal authority.
Write clearly and fast for any audience, from a one-page executive brief to a company-wide announcement.
Use AI tools like Claude to automate tracking, reporting, and follow-up.

Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

You will turn complex workflows into scalable processes, make sure our hiring data is reliable, and give leaders the insights they need to plan headcount with confidence.
You are someone who sees a manual step and wants to automate it, sees a messy dataset and wants to fix it at the source, and sees a new tool and asks how we can best equip it. You are equally at ease configuring an ATS, running a training session for interviewers, and presenting funnel insights to business leaders.
You will work in close coordination with our Talent Acquisition team, People team, Finance, Legal, and IT, as the processes and systems you build need to work for every region we hire in.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Own the configuration, administration, and optimization of our ATS and wider recruiting tech stack, including integrations
Evaluate, implement, and retire tools, and manage the vendors behind them
Build automations that remove manual work from talent team members' days
Design, document, and continuously improve end-to-end hiring workflows, from requisition approval to onboarding handoff

Build dashboards and reports on funnel conversion, time to hire, source effectiveness, and pipeline health, and keep ATS data reliable
Translate data into recommendations for Talent and business leaders, including support on headcount planning
Maintain guides, templates, and training so recruiters and hiring managers can self-serve, and lead change management for new tools and processes
Mentor more junior team members and make sure every candidate gets a smooth, respectful process
Support recruitment as needed, particularly during peak hiring periods
Must-haves:
5+ years in recruitment operations, talent acquisition, or People Ops, with significant hands-on ATS administration (Lever or a comparable ATS)
Proven experience building recruiting reports and turning the data into clear recommendations
Proven experience building automations or integrations that remove manual work from recruiting workflows
Proven experience leading change management and delivering enablement, including training and documentation
Working knowledge of data privacy requirements in hiring (e.g., GDPR) across regions
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional stakeholders
Excellent written communication and documentation skills; business-fluent English
Skilled in using AI to improve recruiting workflows and reporting while protecting candidate data and mitigating bias
Good to have:
Experience with Notion, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Metaview
Experience with workflow automation tools
Experience in a fast-moving environment such as a startup or scale-up

About Pinecone
Pinecone is the leading vector database for building accurate and performant AI applications at scale in production. Pinecone's mission is to make AI knowledgeable. More than 9000 customers across various industries have shipped AI applications faster and more confidently with Pinecone's developer-friendly technology. Pinecone is based in New York and raised $138M in funding from Andreessen Horowitz, ICONIQ, Menlo Ventures, and Wing Venture Capital.
ABOUT THE TEAM AND ROLE:
Pinecone is looking for a full-stack engineer to bring a new level of visibility, control, and trust to our product experiences. From cost metrics and spend alerts to interactive usage dashboards, we’re looking for a product-focused engineer who will deliver transparent and accurate insights to our customers.
As a member of the Experience Platform team, you’ll have direct ownership over the billing, management, and authentication interfaces that we need our customers to understand and trust. You understand the responsibility and care this type of work requires, while also moving quickly to match Pinecone’s rapid growth. You’ll do this by working closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to identify user and system needs and build the right thing, at the right abstraction level, at the right time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shape our product experience. Influence the rollout of products, propose and build new features, and advocate for experiences that will build confidence with our customers.
- Ship end-to-end experiences across API, SDK, and web. You'll own the full surface, from the HTTP layer to the UI, and you'll make calls across all of it.
- Own integrations with billing systems and vendor APIs, designing for resiliency against outages, schema drift, and inconsistent data.
- Create observable, auditable systems with monitoring, alerting, and verification mechanisms that give leadership and customers confidence in the numbers.
- Bring AI-assisted development practices to the team — use the best tools available and help establish patterns that let a small team move at a pace that shouldn't be possible.
- Partner with finance, product, and design to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and push back when the abstraction level isn't right.
REQUIREMENTS:
Engineers at Pinecone operate with high autonomy. You'll be an active partner in setting strategy on APIs, interfaces, observability, and our product experience — not just executing on a roadmap. We care more about how you think and how you work than whether your resume checks every box. In exchange, we’ll make sure you’re set up for success with mentorship and technical guidance.
You should have:
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience
- A bias toward automation and leverage — you reach for systems and tooling before you reach for elbow grease
- Hands-on experience shipping with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) as a genuine part of your workflow
- Proven ability to design and deliver APIs for a rapidly scaling product surface
- Proficiency building web interfaces with React or similar
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong intuition for what makes APIs easy for both humans and agents to use correctly
Bonus points for:
- Experience at a SaaS company with usage-based or consumption pricing models
- Experience building billing-specific features, such as usage dashboards or cost reporting
- Strong familiarity with a compiled language like Rust, Go, or Java
- Experience integrating with third-party financial APIs and building defensively against inconsistent or delayed data
- Experience with queueing and streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub
Perks & Benefits:
- Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, vision, and mental health resources
- 401(k) Plan
- Equity award
- Flexible time off
- Paid parental leave
- WFH Equipment Stipend
All qualified applicants will receive considerations for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, marital status, familial status, sexual orientation, pregnancy, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, veteran status, and any other legally protected status under federal, state, or local anti-discrimination laws.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.

We collaborate closely with Anthropic's alignment and frontier red teams to ensure our systems are both capable and safe. We partner with the applied production training team to bring research innovations into deployed models, and are dedicated to implementing our research at scale. Our Reinforcement Learning teams sit at the intersection of cutting-edge research and engineering excellence, with a deep commitment to building high-quality, scalable systems that push the boundaries of what AI can accomplish.
About the role
We're hiring for the Code RL team within the RL organization. As a Research Engineer, you'll advance our models' ability to design silicon. Hardware design is difficult and unforgiving – exactly the sort of domain we want Claude to excel at.
You'll leverage your chip design expertise and turn it into tasks and signals for models to learn from. Specifically, you will:
Invent, design, and implement RL environments and evaluations for agentic RTL generation, design (including formal) verification, physical design optimization.
Work on cross-cutting RL considerations such as EDA-tool latency optimization and proxy rewards.
Conduct experiments and shape our roadmap.
Deliver your work into research and production training runs.
Collaborate with other researchers and engineers across and outside Anthropic.
You may be a good fit if you:
Have expertise in ASIC or FPGA design: RTL, design verification (UVM, formal methods, coverage-driven), physical design (synthesis, place-and-route, timing closure), PPA optimization, DFT, ECOs.
Are fluent with industry EDA tools and processes.
Have taped out chips and have experience going from spec to silicon.
Know how to balance research exploration with engineering implementation.
Are passionate about AI's potential and committed to developing safe and beneficial systems.
Strong candidates may also have:
Experience with reinforcement learning, evaluations or environments.
Built tooling or automation around chip design flows.
Worked on ML accelerators or high-performance compute hardware.
Familiarity with high-level synthesis or architecture simulators.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.

Annual Salary:
$500,000
—
$850,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a GRC Analyst to join our Compliance & Security team and help make risk management, audit and compliance a continuous part of how Supabase runs. You’ll work closely with engineering, security, IT, and legal to help us define our risk tolerance, keep our compliance programs (including SOC 2 and ISO/IEC 27001:2022) current, test controls on a rolling basis, and answer customer and vendor security reviews quickly and accurately.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in async, fast-paced environments and is excited about building developer tools that scale to millions.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Run risk assessments across the company and major product changes. Score likelihood and impact, propose treatments, and bring the results to leadership to inform risk tolerance decisions.
- Maintain the risk register, track remediation to closure, and report status to compliance and security leadership.
- Monitor controls on a rolling basis, using automated tests where they exist and manual testing where they don’t. Triage failures, prioritize by the risk register, and align each finding with an owner and a due date.
- Support internal audit, whether performed by an external partner or in-house: propose scope from the risk register, supply evidence, and track findings to closure.
- Run day-to-day operations for our compliance programs: evidence collection, control owner follow-up, and readiness ahead of each audit period.
- Extend continuous control validation beyond what our compliance platform covers. Build custom tests with AI coding tools, work with engineering and IT to pull evidence from source systems instead of collecting screenshots, and check that each test proves what the control requires.
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
- Have 3+ years of experience in GRC, internal audit, or security compliance at a SaaS or technology company
- Are comfortable working with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls, a compliance platform such as Drata, Vanta, and evidence from systems like AWS, GCP, Google Workspace, and Okta
- Communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences
- Have experience in async or globally distributed teams
- Are energized by solving real-world problems for developers
- Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and moving quickly
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.
- ESOP
Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together.
- Tech Allowance
Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work.
- Health Benefits
Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us.
- Annual Off-Sites
Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year.
- Flexible Work
We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when.
- Professional Development
Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. We believe our globally distributed team is our secret weapon in building tools developers love.
- ~400 team members
- 60+ countries
- 20+ languages spoken
- Over $1B raised (including our $500M Series F)
- 540,000+ community members
We move fast, build in public, and use what we ship. If it’s in your project, we probably use it in ours too. We believe deeply in the open-source ecosystem and strive to support—not replace—existing tools and communities.
Location: USA (Remote)
Workplace: Remote
Mysten Labs’ mission is to advance the internet through step-function improvements in what technology makes possible. We build foundational infrastructure and products that give people, businesses, and developers new ways to interact, transact, and create value.
Our work spans on-chain finance and the emerging agent economy. Through Sui, Move, and our broader technology stack, we’re building the systems that make these experiences possible - from secure, scalable blockchain infrastructure to new ways for businesses and AI agents to interact.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate the Security Observability & Data Platform (tens of TB/month and growing). This covers ingestion, normalization and retention, plus the query and detection layer on top. Detections are code: tested, reviewed, and measured for precision.
- Own endpoint security across the fleet: deploy, tune and respond with EDR; run and configure binary authorization; and set hardening baselines with IT Operations.
- Lead threat hunting, internal investigations and insider-threat work. Handle security incidents end to end: triage, containment, forensics, root cause, and the control that prevents a repeat.
- Build the next generation of security services and run them in production: zero-trust AuthN/AuthZ, a uniform blocking service, an application proxy, asset inventory, developer portal, and compliance as code.
- Build and run the agent platform (local and Kubernetes). Use LLM agents to automate triage, enrichment, investigation and response, with deterministic checks wherever a model's answer isn't enough.
- Review infrastructure and cloud designs (Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, bare metal, CI runners) for security, and help engineering teams adopt the shared services instead of building their own.
- Run red-team and adversary-emulation exercises, and turn the results into detections and fixes.
- Write runbooks and post-mortems that someone who wasn't in the room can follow at 3 a.m.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years in security engineering, detection and response, or infrastructure/SRE with a security focus, including hands-on incident response on endpoints and in the cloud.
- Experience operating an EDR, writing and tuning detections. Knowledge of macOS and Linux internals as attackers use them: persistence, credential theft, process injection, living-off-the-land binaries.
- Experience building or operating telemetry pipelines and a SIEM or security data lake at TB scale. Strong SQL, including detection logic over large datasets.
- Hands-on production engineering: Linux, containers, Kubernetes, at least one major public cloud, infrastructure as code, monitoring and alerting.
- Proficiency in Python or Go, and comfort with Rust or willingness to work in it (most of Mysten's stack are Rust).
- Working knowledge of identity: SSO (OIDC/SAML), phishing-resistant MFA, device trust, and how session and token theft work.
- Strong written communication: can run an incident channel and write the post-mortem.
- Interest in the web3 space is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building zero-trust access, identity-aware proxies or policy engines.
- Binary authorization or allowlisting at fleet scale
- Familiarity with the threat actors that target crypto companies and their methods, from social engineering and fake campaigns to supply chain compromises.
- Digital forensics (memory, disk, macOS unified logs) and malware analysis.
- Experience building security tooling with LLM agents (Claude Code skills or comparable), and a clear sense of where models help and where deterministic tooling has to do the work.
- Compliance as code (CIS benchmarks); experience in ISO 27001 or SOC 2 environments.
- Publications, conference talks or open-source security tooling.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of employment history, education credentials, criminal history, and other relevant information.

About the Role
You will run the external audit calendar for our SOX 404 program as we scale toward an IPO. That means coordinating with our external auditors across the year, aligning testing windows with control owners, educating our control owners, and keeping requests and deliverables on schedule. You will also own SOX scoping and risk assessment cycles, deficiency tracking, and status reporting, and help roll out our GRC platform so the program runs from one system of record instead of spreadsheets. You will scale the program through AI-enabled workflows that reduce manual effort and speed up our SOX program.
This role reports to the Head of Business Controls and works closely with everyone on the SOX and Internal Audit team. This is an individual contributor role for someone who keeps a complex program on schedule, writes clearly, and makes the program simpler each cycle.
Key responsibilities
Own the annual SOX audit calendar, including interim and year-end testing windows, walkthrough schedules, and key deliverable dates agreed with external auditors.
Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for external auditor requests. Triage, route, and track each request to closure, including PBC (provided-by-client) lists and evidence deliveries.
Coordinate auditor walkthroughs and fieldwork with process owners, control owners, and the SOX Testing team, so each control owner is asked for the same evidence once.
Track auditor findings, management responses, and deficiency follow-ups, and report status to Internal Audit leadership.
Prepare control owners and process owners for auditor sessions, and get evidence delivered on time without direct authority over them.
Lead the annual SOX scoping and risk assessment, including quarterly refreshes, and support the annual Fraud Risk Assessment, so the program has appropriate scope and coverage under COSO.
Monitor BP and IT SOX testing and report status to leadership and share status with external auditors
Lead work with the business to improve control documentation, including education of templates and SOX guidance.
Find optimization and automation opportunities across the SOX lifecycle through the use of AI.
Support the rollout of the GRC tool for SOX, including control libraries, workflows, evidence requests, and testing templates.
Define the data and reporting requirements the platform must meet, and test that it produces what the program needs.
Run the quarterly sub-certification process and report results to leadership
Own SOX program status reporting: dashboards and metrics for leadership, audit calendar progress, and deficiency and remediation status.
Own status reporting for the full SOX lifecycle: scoping and risk assessment, testing, deficiencies and remediation, segregation of duties (SOD), SOC 1 report reviews, the fraud risk assessment, and audit calendar progress.
Minimum qualifications
Big 4 audit firm experience on SOX 404 or ICFR engagements, including managing audit calendars, PBC requests, and fieldwork with external audit teams.
Experience working directly with external auditor teams on requests, testing schedules, and findings, from the company side.
Several years of hands-on SOX 404 experience, including scoping, risk assessment, control documentation, testing, and deficiency evaluation.
Working knowledge of the COSO framework, ICFR, and PCAOB standards.
Experience developing or maintaining Risk and Control Matrices and process documentation or flowcharts.
Experience implementing or administering a GRC systems
Experience reporting program status, metrics, and issues to senior leadership.
Ability to get control owners to deliver on time without authority over them.
Clear writing and calm coordination under deadline pressure.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Preferred qualifications
In-house SOX experience at a pre-IPO or newly public company.
Experience running a fraud risk assessment.
CPA, CISA, or similar certification.
Comfort with SQL or data tools for reporting, and experience building lightweight automations, including with Claude.

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for an IT Engineer to design the systems behind how people at Baseten get access, stay secure, and move through their time here. This role builds the controls and automation that our IT Operations team runs every day across identity, client platforms, SaaS, and cloud access.
The goal is a corporate environment that’s secure by default and easy to use: access that’s right from day one, removed when it should be, and provable at any time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strengthen our identity platform with strong authentication, clean access models, and least privilege as the default.
- Automate the workforce lifecycle so that joining, changing roles, and leaving Baseten are fast, consistent, and need little manual work.
- Build reliable pipelines for OS updates, patching, and software deployment that keep the fleet current without disrupting people’s work.
- Connect device health to access decisions, so a compliant device is what earns access to sensitive systems.
- Recommend identity and security standards for our SaaS and AI tools, and make the secure configuration the easy path for teams adopting new ones.
- Bring governance to non-human identities (service accounts, API keys, AI agents) and replace long-lived credentials with better options wherever possible.
- Manage configuration as code across identity and endpoints to reduce drift, so audit readiness comes from the systems themselves instead of a separate workstream.
- Give IT Operations well-designed tools and guardrails, so they can handle more requests on their own, safely.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years in IT engineering or corporate security engineering, ideally at a cloud-native company.
- Strong grounding in identity: SSO, MFA, provisioning, and the protocols behind them.
- Hands-on experience engineering macOS fleets at scale: MDM, configuration profiles, app packaging and deployment, and endpoint visibility and EDR tooling.
- Experience automating real workflows in code (Python, Bash, or similar), and comfort with infrastructure-as-code.
- A working understanding of SaaS and cloud access risks, and how to reduce them without blocking the business.
- Good judgment about when to build, when to buy, and when to leave something alone.
- Clear writing, and a track record of working across IT, People, Engineering, Legal, GRC and Security.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Truly unique opportunity to shape and scale self-optimizing paid marketing systems for Growth. This role exists to turn our performance marketing experimentation program from a prototype into the operating system. The opportunity calls for deep paid-growth expertise and a strong grasp of how channel mechanics, audiences, creative, measurement, experimentation, and automation fit together. You’ll set the strategy and operating model, and guide the agentic infrastructure that brings it to life. You’ll partner with BizOps, Strat Fin, Growth, Ecosystems, and Marketing across Meta, LinkedIn, Google, and ChatGPT, interpreting always-on geo, cohort, creative, and spend signals in context.
This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- By day 90:
- Map how geo, audience, creative, spend, measurement, experimentation, and platform constraints interact; establish an operating model that turns those signals into hypotheses, tests, and clear kill/scale decisions, with agents supporting execution.
- Build a deep understanding of onboarding and activation, and how paid acquisition connects to downstream user quality; partner with Growth PM and Ecosystems PM on meaningful improvements.
- Establish how AI and agents can strengthen the end-to-end decision system—from analysis and hypothesis generation to creative and audience development, experiment QA, and reusable workflows—improving decision quality, not only execution speed.
- By the end of year one:
- Graduate the program from managing the experimental budget to managing the majority of paid spend, while maintaining efficiency and Notion’s quality bar for ad creative.
- Establish stronger measurement and a clear, connected view of which experiments move which metrics, why they work, and how results vary by user cohort; use that understanding to shape more personalized experiences.
- Turn the system into a repeatable model for Demand Generation, raising the standard for experimentation, measurement, and agentic marketing infrastructure across the organization.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Strong systems fluency across APIs, automation pipelines, and agentic systems. You can see how platform integrations, data, measurement, workflows, and constraints fit together; shape sound architecture and tradeoffs; and partner credibly with technical teams to make the system reliable.
- Deep paid-growth subject matter expertise across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, and Google. You understand how channel mechanics, budgets, audiences, creative, and performance interact, and can connect those dynamics to real marketing outcomes.
- Expert measurement and performance-analysis judgment: you can interpret geo, cohort, creative, and spend signals in context, identify meaningful patterns, understand what is driving them, and make clear kill/scale decisions.
- Strong product and systems judgment across technical and marketing domains, with the ability to connect the parts into a coherent strategy and translate an ambiguous frontier into a system with a high quality bar.
- High-agency cross-functional ownership: you can work across BizOps, Strat Fin, Growth, Ecosystems, and Marketing to align decisions and deliver the full loop from strategy through operating model and infrastructure to outcomes.
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated base salary range for this role is $191,000 - $225,000 per year.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

Who You Are:
The Senior Project Manager, Mechanical sits on Galaxy's pre-construction team and provides mechanical engineering support across the data center portfolio, primarily focused on early equipment selection & procurement, site design, and construction planning.
As an early member of Galaxy's growing pre-construction team, you will own the mechanical and plumbing side of construction budget, design input, and equipment planning across Galaxy's multi-site AI/HPC data center portfolio. You will run owner-furnished, contractor-installed (OFCI) equipment packages from demand forecast through RFP, bid leveling, award recommendation, and purchase order, then manage submittals, production, expediting, and factory and first-of-kind witness testing through delivery to site.
This position partners closely with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Construction, Operations, design teams, commissioning agents, and OEMs, and you will lead vendor research and new-technology evaluation so each campus is faster, more standardized, and more cost-effective to deliver than the last. Responsibilities below are listed in priority order.
What You’ll Do:
You own mechanical and plumbing OFCI packages from demand forecast through RFP, bid leveling, award recommendation, purchase order, and delivery to site, and you support changes after award.
You provide mechanical and plumbing equipment, technical, and budget input to Galaxy's integrated construction estimates, schedules, and design process.
Once equipment arrives on site, Galaxy's Construction team owns receiving, storage, installation by our general contractors and trade partners, startup, and commissioning. You remain the technical and commercial resource for the terms you negotiated.
Finance owns billing, payment, and collections. You provide the committed cost, forecast, and payment-milestone data that supports them.
1. OFCI Sourcing, Bid Leveling, and Award
Build and maintain rolling mechanical and plumbing OFCI demand forecasts by site and phase, aligned to the portfolio schedule.
Recommend manufacturing slot reservations, capacity agreements, and framework agreements with OEMs in partnership with Procurement.
Develop technical scopes and RFP packages, and run technical and commercial bid leveling using standardized templates.
Prepare written award recommendations that weigh cost, lead time, total cost of ownership, technical compliance, supplier risk, and dual-sourcing.
Own purchase order issuance for awarded mechanical and plumbing packages in coordination with Procurement.
Partner with Procurement and Legal on key commercial terms, including warranty start and duration, delayed-start or extended warranty options, storage and maintenance obligations, vendor startup and commissioning support, spare parts, delivery terms, title and risk of loss, liquidated damages, and turnover documentation.
Support post-award change management by evaluating scope, cost, and schedule impacts and maintaining the change log through delivery.
2. Technical Input, Specifications, and Budget
Provide mechanical and plumbing technical and budget input during planning and design for HVAC and plumbing systems, heat rejection, liquid cooling (FWS/TCS and CDUs), fire protection, BMS and mechanical controls, water treatment, and generator fuel systems.
Translate tenant requirements and Engineer of Record (EOR) design intent into vendor-neutral OFCI equipment specifications, and maintain Galaxy's mechanical equipment standards.
Provide equipment cost, lead-time, and escalation inputs to the estimates, budgets, and forecasts used by construction and Finance.
Where liquid cooling equipment is tenant-furnished, define and document the facility/tenant demarcation, interface requirements, and acceptance criteria. Where it is Galaxy-furnished, manage it like all other OFCI equipment.
Incorporate Operations feedback on maintainability, spares, and lifecycle cost into specifications and award recommendations.
3. Submittals, Production Tracking, and Expediting
Coordinate submittal and shop drawing review with the EOR and Galaxy engineering, and track approvals against release-for-production dates.
Own the mechanical and plumbing OFCI master tracker covering purchase order, submittal, production slot, factory testing, shipment, and required-on-site (ROS) dates.
Verify production progress directly with OEMs, escalate slips early, and present recovery options.
Coordinate shipping and logistics and confirm delivery windows with Construction.
4. Factory Witness Testing, First-of-Kind, and Quality
Define and lead factory witness testing (FWT/FAT) and first-of-kind and first-article testing (Commissioning Level 1) for chillers, dry coolers, CDUs, CRAHs and fan walls, air handlers, pumps and skids, and modular plants.
Align test scope and acceptance criteria with the commissioning agent and Galaxy's Construction and Commissioning teams.
Document results, track nonconformances to closure, and approve units for shipment within delegated authority.
5. Vendor Research and New Technology
Engage OEM product roadmaps, evaluate and qualify new products and suppliers, including modular and prefabricated mechanical plants and liquid cooling equipment, and run pilots and first-of-kind tests.
Recommend standard product families and approved alternates that enable dual-sourcing and faster, repeatable campus delivery.
Track regulatory and market drivers, such as low-GWP refrigerant transitions, tariffs, and lead-time shifts, and assess their impact on specifications and budgets.
6. Cross-Department Coordination, Turnover, and Process Building
Serve as the mechanical and plumbing OFCI point of contact for Procurement, Finance, Legal, Construction, Operations, design teams, commissioning agents, and tenant technical teams.
Provide Finance with committed cost, forecast, and payment-milestone data for OFCI purchase orders.
Deliver a complete turnover package to Construction with each delivery, including a commercial terms summary, warranty terms and start conditions, OEM storage and maintenance requirements, factory test reports, serial numbers, approved submittals, O&M manuals, spare parts lists, and vendor startup contacts.
Build the team's foundational tools and processes, including the OFCI tracker, bid leveling templates, factory test protocols, vendor qualification criteria, and a commercial terms checklist, and capture lessons learned across sites.
What We’re Looking For:

Hands-on experience running RFPs and technical and commercial bid leveling for mission-critical mechanical systems, including cooling plants, air handling systems, pumps, heat rejection equipment, piping, valves, controls, and redundancy configurations.
Experience coordinating equipment submittals with an Engineer of Record, cross disciplinary design teams, and managing production tracking, expediting, and factory witness testing expectations.
Working knowledge of equipment commercial terms, including warranty, storage, startup, liquidated damages, and title and risk of loss, and how they affect construction and operations.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent equipment packages across multiple sites and schedules.
Advanced Excel skills, with experience building trackers, bid leveling models, and cost forecasts.
Experience reviewing mechanical drawings, equipment submittals, sequence-of-operations documents, commissioning scripts, test reports, O&M manuals, and maintenance documentation.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to site operations, leadership, vendors, design teams, construction teams, and commissioning partners.
Bonus Points:
10+ years of experience, including multi-site hyperscale, AI/HPC, or wholesale colocation programs that use an OFCI delivery model.
Professional Engineer license or Engineer-in-Training certification.
Liquid cooling experience, including CDUs, FWS/TCS design, fluid quality, wetted materials, and leak detection, and familiarity with ASHRAE TC 9.9 and OCP liquid cooling guidance.
Experience at a chiller, heat rejection system, CRAH/fan wall, or CDU manufacturer.
Experience with modular or prefabricated mechanical plants and first-of-kind product qualification.
Experience with Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or Power BI, and ERP or procurement systems.
PMP, CSCP, or an equivalent project management or supply chain industry recognized credential.
Experience building processes, templates, and tools as an early member of a new team.
Key Competencies:
Mechanical and heat rejection equipment: air- and water-cooled chillers, dry and adiabatic coolers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, CRAHs and fan walls, air handlers, in-row/above rack/rear-door heat exchangers, pumps and VFDs, and hydronic skids.
Liquid cooling: in-row and facility-scale CDUs, FWS/TCS interfaces, filtration, fluid chemistry, and facility/IT demarcation.
Plumbing and water treatment: makeup, domestic, and process water, plus chemical treatment and filtration equipment.
Fire protection: suppression and detection interfaces with mechanical spaces.
BMS and mechanical controls: equipment-integrated controls, points lists, sequences of operation, and integration requirements.
Generator fuel systems: fuel storage, polishing, and transfer, coordinated with Electrical construction.
Regulatory and market awareness: AIM Act low-GWP refrigerant requirements, A2L refrigerant safety implications, and tariff and country-of-origin exposure.
Commercial judgment and the ability to balance cost, schedule, risk, and quality in award decisions.
Ownership mindset and the discipline to build scalable processes for a growing portfolio.
Success Measures:
In your first 90 days:
A mechanical and plumbing OFCI master tracker is live for every active site and phase.
A standard bid leveling template and award recommendation format are adopted.
Version 1 factory test protocols for chillers, CDUs, and CRAHs/fan walls are agreed with Construction and the commissioning agent.
An OFCI commercial terms checklist is adopted with Procurement and Legal.
Vendor qualification criteria and an initial approved vendor and alternate list are in place for major mechanical categories.
By the end of your first year:
All mechanical and plumbing OFCI packages are awarded on or before procurement plan dates.
At least 90% of equipment arrives on time to required-on-site dates.
All first-of-kind units are witness-tested before shipment.
No warranty coverage gaps are caused by storage or startup terms, and every delivery includes a complete turnover package.
At least two major mechanical categories are qualified for dual-sourcing.
Award values land within agreed budget tolerances, with variances documented.
