ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
We're hiring a Sales Development Manager to lead the team of SDRs generating pipeline for our North American sales org. You'll own the day-to-day leadership of the team — coaching reps, aligning with AEs and sales leadership, holding a high bar on execution, hiring, and building the systems that make the team consistently productive.
Our market is new and evolves by the day, and our buyers are hyper-technical. Prospecting at Baseten means earning credibility with that audience, and coaching a team to do it at scale. The right person for this role is a coach and a builder — someone who gets energy from developing people, is obsessive about execution, and wants to define what world-class pipeline generation looks like when the product, the buyers, and the sales motion are all AI-native.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of SDRs responsible for opening doors with the next wave of Baseten customers.
- Own the team's pipeline generation targets and drive consistent execution against weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.
- Build and refine outbound strategies, messaging, and frameworks across a wide range of accounts, tuned to a technical audience.
- Run 1:1s, team meetings, training, and pipeline reviews that make reps measurably better week over week.
- Partner with AEs and sales managers on account strategy, lead quality, and handoff processes.
- Analyze pipeline data to identify what's working, diagnose what's not, and change it fast.
- Hire and onboard new SDRs as the team grows, raising the talent bar with each hire.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Recruiting.
- Build with AI — test new tools, automate repetitive work, and make your team faster and sharper than a team twice its size.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2+ years managing an SDR or BDR team at an enterprise-focused tech company, and 4+ years in tech overall.
- Direct experience as an SDR and/or AE — you've done the job you're coaching.
- Technical aptitude and real curiosity about AI infrastructure. You should be able to hold your own in a conversation about inference and want to get deeper.
- A track record of top performance and progression in fast-paced, results-driven environments.
- Strong coaching instincts — you'd rather be in the trenches on calls and messaging with your reps than managing by dashboard.
- Comfort with data and systems. You can pull a report, spot a trend, and turn it into a coaching conversation or a process change.
- Hands-on with AI in your own workflow — you've built, adopted, or experimented your way to a faster prospecting motion, and you can show us.
- A builder's mentality. You own problems and their solutions, and you're at your best in high-change, fast-moving environments.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).

Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead the enterprise readiness and platform modernization strategy for SaaS Manager, 1Password’s product for helping organizations discover, understand, and govern the applications their employees use. You’ll shape a multi-quarter roadmap across data ingestion, integrations, reliability, admin experiences, and responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities, connecting deep technical decisions to customer and business outcomes. Reporting to the Director of Product, SaaS Manager, this remote role is open to candidates based in the United States or Canada.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
• 8+ years of product management experience, including end-to-end strategy and roadmap ownership for Business-to-Business (B2B) Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
• Technical fluency with integrations, application programming interfaces (APIs), data pipelines, platform architecture, and the trade-offs involved in building for enterprise scale.
• Experience leading complex, multi-quarter initiatives across Product, Engineering, Design, Security, Privacy, and other cross-functional teams.
• Strong product discovery, problem framing, iterative validation, prioritization, and success measurement skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain recommendations, trade-offs, and risks to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with SaaS management, license management, IT asset management, identity and access management, cybersecurity, or other technically complex enterprise products.
• Experience with third-party SaaS ecosystems, including single sign-on (SSO), System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM), OAuth, audit logs, or similar integration patterns, as well as responsible AI-assisted product development.
What you can expect:
• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for SaaS Manager’s platform modernization and enterprise readiness initiatives.
• Lead discovery with customers, internal partners, and data to identify the highest-impact enterprise problems and workflows.
• Determine how capabilities such as data ingestion, near-real-time processing, integrations, observability, and admin experiences should be sequenced to deliver customer value.
• Partner with Engineering and Design to evaluate architecture options, clarify requirements, and translate complex problems into shippable milestones.
• Define success metrics and work with Product Analytics and Data partners to measure reliability, adoption, customer impact, and business outcomes.
• Align multiple Product and Engineering teams around priorities, decisions, dependencies, and delivery risks.
• Coordinate launches, go-to-market readiness, customer feedback, and ongoing iteration as the product evolves.
