The team works cross-functionally with product, engineering, BizOps, marketing, and sales to build systems that enable new products and pricing models. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Software Engineer, you will architect and scale the core systems that power Sentry's billing infrastructure, ensuring accuracy and reliability at massive scale. - You will collaborate on building the next generation of Sentry’s usage tracking pipeline, processing hundreds of billions of events daily with low latency and financial-grade accuracy. - You will help design flexible pricing primitives that support everything from per-event usage billing to complex enterprise contracts, enabling product and sales teams to experiment rapidly while maintaining revenue accuracy and reduced time-to-market for new products. - You will contribute to technical decisions on data consistency challenges unique to billing—like handling event delays, retroactive pricing changes, and distributed count reconciliation across our infrastructure. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the Admin Workflows area of 1Password's Enterprise Password Manager (EPM). With our API first approach to EPM, you will champion API centric workflows and deliver features that help administrators manage, monitor, and support their organizations at scale. You'll shape a roadmap spanning admin capabilities, admin dashboards and reporting, notification systems, account recovery and user confirmation workflows, and agentic (MCP) capabilities — connecting deep platform decisions to customer and business outcomes. This role sits at the center of the enterprise admin experience, with dependencies across many partner teams, so strong cross-functional judgment and communication are essential. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US. HOW WE'RE USING AI TODAY Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers. OUR PRODUCT PHILOSOPHY Our philosophy on Product consists of five core pillars: - Focus and Execution — can you ship quickly and measure results? - Customer Empathy — are you motivated first and foremost to solve customer problems? - Effective Communication — can you bring the entire organization — horizontally and vertically — along on the journey? - Go To Market — can you understand and drive the business outcomes through product decisions? - Technology — articulating how our technology beats our competitors. Product Managers play a highly visible role in the company and are critical to the development and execution of our product strategy. As PMs, we are responsible for setting and championing the high bar for our products. You must excel at prioritization, collaboration, and communication, while holding yourself and others accountable for measuring quality and business results. You'll work with other PMs to understand customer problems and define requirements so your engineering counterparts can create great solutions, and you'll take a holistic view of customer needs that cross buyers, users, and administrators. You will work with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and GTM teams to ensure the quality, security, and usability of the service. What we're looking for: - 5+ years of product management experience owning a product or a set of features and being responsible for its ultimate success, in B2B or enterprise software - A track record of shipping and improving software and driving business impact through the features or products you owned - Experience building for administrator or IT personas — workflows, dashboards, APIs, or enterprise governance capabilities - Strong experience with API first product design, API development, and API management workflows, with the technical depth to engage directly with system architecture and developer documentation - An action-bias that won't wait to create change - Obsession with internal and external customer problems, and the ability to represent the voice of the customer to motivate the team - Strong presentation and leadership skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills that scale from technical to non-technical audiences - Ability to inspire and bring together different teams and stakeholders to drive forward, solve problems, and remove roadblocks - Ability to prioritize tasks and use data — both qualitative and quantitative — to drive decision-making - Strong background and experience in cybersecurity is needed. - Experience training internal teams as part of bringing products to market, particularly sales, support, and customer success What you can expect: - Working with a passionate, highly motivated Product team that is invested in your success and the success of your initiatives - A dynamic, highly collaborative environment - Empowerment to contribute to, and help drive, overall product strategy and the relative priority of the features you own on the roadmap - Being a part of the team that drives the success of 1Password, our products, and business to the next level - Having fun working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a team that prioritizes close collaboration over rigid processes, while continuously embracing an entrepreneurial culture USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $144,000 USD and $202,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. HOW YOU WORK - You enjoy building tools and infrastructure other engineers rely on. - You consider reliability, performance, cost, and maintenance when making technical decisions. - You take ownership from understanding a problem through implementation, rollout, and operation. - You listen to engineers’ feedback and use evidence to guide improvements. - You help teams adopt shared tools and standards through clear reasoning and collaboration. You don’t need to meet every qualification to apply. If your experience aligns with the core work, we’d like to hear from you. The base salary range (or hourly wage range, if applicable) that Sentry reasonably expects to pay for this position is $190,000 to $400,000 USD. A successful candidate’s actual base salary (or hourly wage) amount will be determined by a variety of relevant factors including, without limitation, the candidate’s work location, education, work and other relevant experience, skills, and job-related knowledge. A successful candidate will be eligible to participate in Sentry’s employee benefit plans/programs applicable to the candidate’s position (including incentive compensation, equity grants, paid time off, and group health insurance coverage). See Sentry Benefits https://sentry.io/careers/ for more details about the Company’s benefit plans/programs. Location: Remote - US West About the Job: We're looking for a senior security leader to run our Product Security team and partner to the Director of Security. In this role, you'll own how Security operates: a program led by risk rather than audit calendars, where engineering teams own their security health and Security informs, guides, and validates, where automation and AI take the first pass on every finding, and where posture is measured and published to executives every quarter. You'll build that model, starting with Product Security and extending across the division. You'll bring a balance of people management, security judgment, and program leadership as you manage a team of security engineers, act as incident manager of record, hold delegated approval for vendor and access decisions, and run the division when the Director is in an audit, a board cycle, or on vacation. You'll work closely with every engineering team to make the secure path the easy one. Responsibilities: Manage the portfolio of your team's work, appropriately managing everyone's time and assigning them to the highest priority work. Help your team and the engineering organization make sense of, and simplify, how security work gets done: who owns what, what is automated, and what Security stops doing. Guide product engineering teams in owning their own security health: findings route to them with mapped severity, Security reviews and validates rather than fixes, and each team sees its security health in its own service review. Own the wiring and routing of security findings and requests, driving down noise and the human-decision rate across intake, triage, and review. Serve as incident manager of record for security incidents: first escalation for our service-level commitments, delegated approver for vendor and access decisions, and cover for the Director's operational duties. Publish posture: monthly service-level attainment to engineering, quarterly posture to the executive team, and a risk register that drives priorities. About You: You have led a security team out of the gatekeeper model once already, and you can say what teams owned afterward, what Security stopped doing, and what the numbers did. You think in risk, not control lists, and you would rather defend a priority call than a checklist. You treat automation and AI as the first responder and yourself as the escalation path. You have been the second leader to a director or CISO and know which decisions to make in their name. You have run security incidents end to end, including the comms and the review afterward. You were a strong Senior or Staff security engineer before you managed, and you can still read a PR, a threat model, or a cloud finding and make a call. You track and drive metrics, and you understand what they can and can't tell you. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in a formal security or engineering management role, including managing senior engineers. Experience moving a security function from gatekeeper to team ownership, with measurable results. Experience as incident manager for security incidents at a SaaS company, including external communication. Experience guiding teams through technical tradeoffs and developing senior engineers' careers. The ability to track and drive metrics, and the wisdom to understand what they can and can't tell you. Familiarity with AWS security at scale and with external audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP) as a participant or control owner. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A thoughtful, empathetic approach to leadership and collaboration. Location: Remote: United States; San Francisco HQ; Remote: Canada Workplace: Remote At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure. Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users. Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development. We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you. APPLYING TO RENDER We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team. We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed. Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time. About the Role As the Engineering Manager for Governance & Access, you will lead the team responsible for building the security, governance, and access capabilities that let Render's customers manage teams, permissions, and environments with confidence as they scale. You'll design these capabilities for a world where agents, not just humans, operate on Render, turning emerging agentic use cases into simple, reusable platform primitives across identity, authorization, credentials, and delegation. The problems span traditional IAM and emerging agent infrastructure, which is what distinguishes this role from a typical security or IAM job. You'll shape the team's structure as much as its roadmap. You'll also join at a formative moment: the team is small, the architectural foundations are still being defined, and the systems you build will become primitives used across millions of users. What You’ll Do - Lead and grow the Governance & Access team - Own the roadmap for governance, identity and access management, roles and permissions, and related compliance and security capabilities - Define how these capabilities extend to agents operating on Render, not only human users - Partner with the dedicated product and design partners already on the team to align roadmap with customer and platform needs - Build a strong hiring and interview process as the team scales, calibrating closely with recruiting and cross-functional partners - Make key technical and architectural decisions for access, identity, and governance systems - Coach and develop engineers, through performance management and career growth - Coordinate with the adjacent Security team and the rest of the Growth and Expansion org as the platform evolves - Balance security, usability, and speed, making pragmatic decisions about where strong guarantees are required and where the team can iterate What We’re Looking For - Strong people leadership - the top priority for this role - Comfort operating in ambiguity, with the flexibility to adapt and grow as the team's scope evolves - Experience building and scaling a team from an early stage - A track record of managing and developing engineers, including hiring and performance management - Ability to partner closely with product and design without needing to fill those functions yourself - Background from either a startup or a larger company is fine. What matters is experience and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment Nice-to-Haves - Experience in security, governance, or access management (IAM, RBAC, compliance) - Exposure to building for AI agents or agentic systems - Experience managing senior (IC5-level) engineers - Background in developer platforms or B2B SaaS products This is an opportunity to help define what secure access looks like when software increasingly acts on behalf of people. If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need. BENEFITS - 4 weeks of paid vacation. - 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return. - Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans. - 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well. - Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc. - Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy. - Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders. - Continuous learning benefits & related support. This position is generally not eligible for new visa sponsorship. At Render's discretion, the business may sponsor existing visa transfers. Applicants who require sponsorship must receive business authorization. Render is an equal-opportunity employer. We know that employing a team rich in diverse thoughts, experiences, and opinions allows our employees, product, and community to flourish. We make all employment decisions including hiring, evaluation, termination, promotional, and training opportunities, without regard to race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, physical handicap, mental disability, medical condition, disability, gender or identity or expression, pregnancy or pregnancy-related condition, marital status, height and/or weight. We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation. We encourage all who are interested to apply. We can't wait to hear from you! Location: Hybrid - San Francisco About Vercel: Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience. Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. About the role We're looking for a People Systems Manager, Workday to join our People team and build the foundation for how People technology operates at Vercel. We've recently implemented Workday as our system of record, and we're just getting started. As we expand its capabilities and build toward public-company-ready operations, we need someone to own the architecture, security, business processes, and governance behind it. We're building a headless People technology experience, with Workday as the engine behind it, not a traditional HR technology stack. Employees and managers will initiate transactions, access their data, and navigate People processes directly from the tools they already use. You'll make that possible, working closely with integration engineers to connect Workday's security model and Business Process Framework to the experiences we're building. This is a hands-on IC role with real ownership over how Workday operates at Vercel. You'll set standards, make architectural decisions, and build systems that scale, reducing manual work, strengthening controls, and creating data our growing People analytics function can trust. If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team. What you'll do Own the configuration, security architecture, and Business Process Framework that power Workday at Vercel, and make the architectural calls that balance flexibility, scalability, and control as we grow. Partner with integration engineers to design business processes and security configurations for transactions initiated through Slack, internal apps, and other tools, making Workday accessible beyond its native interface without compromising governance or data integrity. Establish role-based security, segregation of duties, change management, and audit controls from the ground up, and automate what's needed for SOX, SOC 2, and public company readiness without adding friction. Configure and optimize business processes for core People operations, equity, commissions, one-time payments, and clawbacks, partnering with Finance, Total Rewards, Payroll, and Legal to bring new capabilities into Workday accurately and auditably. Set standards for data governance, reporting architecture, calculated fields, and data quality, so Workday stays a reliable source of truth as our analytics and self-service reporting mature. Own release management, regression testing, and configuration change control. Find the root causes of recurring friction and fix them through better configuration, automation, and process design, and partner with auditors on evidence, walkthroughs, and remediation. What you need 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience across security, business processes, reporting, and core configuration. Strong grasp of Workday's security architecture and Business Process Framework, including role-based access, security groups, business process policies, approvals, and segregation of duties. Experience building or evolving a Workday environment, including configuration standards, governance frameworks, and scalable business processes in a growing organization. Experience designing and implementing Workday security, governance, and internal controls that support SOX compliance and audit readiness. Workday reporting and data management experience, including calculated fields, advanced and composite reports, data validation, and reporting governance. Experience in interconnected HR technology environments, understanding how Workday security, business processes, and data architecture affect downstream systems and automated workflows. Bonus if you Have experience with Workday Payroll or complex compensation processes, including equity and commission payments. Have helped a high-growth technology company scale its People Systems infrastructure or prepare for an IPO. Have used AI or automation to improve system administration, data quality, controls, or operational efficiency. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation package, including equity. Inclusive Healthcare Package. Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills. Flexible Time Off. We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed. The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $167,000 - $204,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process. Disclosures: Privacy: Please review our Job Applicant Privacy Policy for more information on how we handle your data. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Vercel encourages everyone to apply for our available positions, even if they don't necessarily check every box on the job description.
