Are you a hands-on technical leader who knows Magento and Shopify inside out, speaks fluent SEO, and keeps infrastructure secure? We are looking for someone to own our e-commerce, SEO and security ecosystem end to end.
You will be the
single point of contact
between our business teams and our technology partners: e-commerce development agencies, infrastructure and security providers, and several SEO contractors. You will turn business needs into clear technical requirements, hold partners accountable for quality and timelines, and keep our online stores fast, stable and secure.
This is an ownership role. You will analyze, decide and approve, escalating only the big calls.
Ownership & Decision-Making
▪ Own our e-commerce, SEO and security infrastructure end to end
▪ Make decisions on priorities, budgets and solutions
▪ Approve partner tasks, quotes and deliverables, and track performance against SLAs, KPIs and scope
▪ Act as technical advisor to our Magento developers: review tickets, challenge solutions, and guide code, architecture and infrastructure
E-commerce (Magento & Shopify)
▪ Lead our e-commerce development partner across both platforms
▪ Turn business requirements into briefs, user stories and acceptance criteria
▪ Prioritize the backlog: features, integrations, bug fixes, upgrades and maintenance
▪ Coordinate UAT and sign off releases before go-live
▪ Oversee upgrades, extensions/apps and integrations (payments, shipping, ERP, marketing tools)
▪ Monitor site speed, uptime and conversion issues, and drive fixes
Infrastructure & Security
▪ Lead our hosting and security partner
▪ Coordinate patching, backups, monitoring and disaster recovery
▪ Manage access requests, permissions and offboarding using least-privilege principles
▪ Follow up on security alerts, incidents and audits through to remediation
▪ Maintain documentation of environments, credential processes and access rights
SEO Management
▪ Coordinate multiple SEO contractors across our websites
▪ Analyze organic traffic, rankings, indexing, crawl errors and Core Web Vitals (GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush)
▪ Review reports and give clear, actionable feedback
▪ Guide technical SEO (site structure, speed, structured data, canonicals, redirects, sitemaps, robots.txt) plus on-page and off-page SEO
▪ Turn SEO fixes into dev tickets and verify completion
▪ Track KPIs and recommend scope or contractor changes when needed
Catalog Coordination
▪ Work with the Catalog Manager so product data, categories, pricing and images work correctly on both stores
▪ Translate catalog needs (attributes, bulk imports, feeds, filters, merchandising rules) into technical requirements
▪ Align launches, seasonal updates and promotions with technical releases
▪ Resolve sync errors, missing products and feed failures
Project Management & Governance
▪ Plan and track projects: scope, timeline, budget, risks and dependencies
▪ Run status meetings and report progress and decisions to management
▪ Track partner SLAs, invoices and hours
▪ Manage incidents and blockers when stores or systems go down
▪ Keep the project log, roadmap and knowledge base up to date
Requirements
▪
5+ years hands-on with Magento (Adobe Commerce) and Shopify
, deep enough to advise developers on architecture and solutions
▪
Strong technical SEO
: on-page, off-page, link building, site audits, GSC, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush
▪
Deep knowledge of servers, hosting, cloud and web security
, plus user access management
▪ Solid grasp of e-commerce operations: catalog, checkout, payments, shipping, promotions, analytics
▪ Proven experience managing
multiple agencies, contractors or vendors at once
▪ Strong project management: planning, prioritization, budgeting, risk and reporting
▪ Comfortable owning decisions and being accountable for results
▪ Experience with Jira, Asana, Trello or similar
▪

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE MISSION
You will work every day on the racks that power one of Sweden's largest AI clusters.
Mistral's compute footprint is our single largest investment and the foundation of our AI research and engineering. We're hiring Data Center Hardware Engineers to keep our clusters healthy, safe and growing — hands-on, in the data center at the intersection of high-performance computing and physical infrastructure.
You'll join a small, senior team working at a scale few engineers get to experience: GPU-dense racks (next-generation platforms), high-speed interconnects, liquid-cooled systems — with new sites under development in France and beyond.
Hardware here is not someone else's problem. As part of a small on-site team, you carry responsibility for it end to end.
Location: On-site at our data center in Dalarna region.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Diagnose & repair server and cluster hardware: CPUs, memory, drives, NICs, GPUs, PSUs and interconnect problems (switches, cables, transceivers; Ethernet/InfiniBand).
- Intervene safely — power-off/lockout, ESD discipline, pre/post-work checklists, tidy and safe work areas.
- Capture everything — photos, serials, test results; open, update and close tickets with notes the next engineer can act on.
- Manage parts — receive, label and track inventory; run RMAs and coordinate with vendors.
- Help us get better — feed recurring anomalies into monitoring, alerts and SOPs; contribute small scripts (Python/Bash) if you have those skills.
- Be a good teammate — clear status updates, honest handovers and respect for the people around you.
ABOUT YOU
- Hands-on comfort in data centers or server hardware — you can (or will quickly learn to) work cleanly in racks: rails, cabling, labeling, mounting.
- Disciplined and meticulous: checklists aren't bureaucracy to you, they're craftsmanship.
- Practical electrical basics: power-off procedures, PPE, short-circuit risk awareness.
- Basic Linux (boot checks, logs) — scripting is a plus, not a requirement.
- Physically able to work in racks (lift, mount, maneuver) in a data center environment.
- Comfortable in a 24/7 operation, including a rotating on-call with emergency response expectations.
- Driver's licence (B) for travel between our sites.
Even if you don't match every criterion
Many of our best hardware engineers came from research labs, telecoms, IT services or the military. If you are rigorous, curious and genuinely motivated by hardware at scale, we would be glad to hear from you — we assess demonstrated scope rather than keyword matching.
NICE TO HAVE
- HPC/AI/cloud production experience at scale; large-fleet server install and maintenance.
- Networking fundamentals (Ethernet/InfiniBand) beyond basics.
- Vendor/RMA tooling, ticketing (Jira/ServiceNow), inventory systems.
- Python/Bash automation for checks, capture, inventory or reporting.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
Kraken is on a mission to build the most trusted bridge between crypto and traditional finance. The Financial Systems Engineering team connects activity across products, payments, banking, and digital assets to the data, ledgers, controls, and applications Finance relies on. Our engineers bring expertise in data engineering, complex transaction flows, financial systems, and reconciliation. We partner with Treasury, Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Product, Risk, Security, Compliance, and platform engineering to make financial data reliable, explainable, and auditable.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Report to the CFO and lead the engineering vision for Kraken’s financial systems, translating Finance priorities into a clear technical strategy and delivery roadmap
- Assess the current landscape, including fragmented data, processes, and technical debt. Define a target architecture and phased transformation plan based on evidence, business needs, and sound engineering judgment
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of specialists across financial systems, data engineering, integrations, and ledger-related services. Establish clear ownership and develop technical leaders
- Set standards for the completeness, quality, lineage, and ownership of financial data, from source events through transaction and balance records, reconciliation, accounting, and reporting
- Contribute to architecture decisions for ledgers, subledgers, financial data models, APIs, and integrations across fiat and crypto activity. Determine what should be standardized and where distinct product flows need governed treatment
- Partner with Accounting and Treasury to improve account and legal entity attribution, financial controls, reconciliation, exception handling, and the traceability of records across internal and external systems
- Lead modernization and migration without disrupting close, reporting, fund movements, or other critical Finance operations. Define validation checkpoints and criteria for retiring legacy processes and systems
- Establish end-to-end testing, documentation, observability, release controls, and incident response practices that account for the financial impact of upstream changes
- Partner with Product, platform engineering, Risk, Security, Compliance, Tax, and Legal on system boundaries, access controls, resilience, regulatory needs, and auditability
- Evaluate build, buy, and integration options; review consequential designs; and communicate architectural decisions, sequencing, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to Finance and Engineering leaders
WHAT YOU WILL TACKLE FIRST
In your first year, you’ll build the foundations for a more reliable, scalable Finance architecture:
- Move key reconciliations from a monthly to a daily cadence, with clear ownership and a process for resolving exceptions
- Reduce the time needed to find the root cause of reconciliation breaks from weeks to days
- Map and validate the source tables and transformations that actually feed financial statements, establishing lineage and ownership
- Complete the UAT data lake connections needed to test financial data flows end to end before changes reach production
WHAT YOU BRING
- Significant software engineering and technical leadership experience, including leading experienced teams through complex financial systems or data architecture change
- A strong track record of hiring, coaching, and developing specialists while creating clear ownership, high engineering standards, and effective cross-functional partnerships
- Deep understanding of ledgers, subledgers, double-entry concepts, reconciliation, settlement, and the path from an operational event to an auditable financial record
- Experience with crypto or digital asset infrastructure and the challenges of connecting on-chain activity, internal balances, custody or wallet flows, and traditional financial systems
- Strong technical judgment in distributed systems, data engineering, APIs, event-driven processing, and integrations across complex platforms
- Experience defining a target architecture and delivering a transformation roadmap across fragmented or legacy systems while sustaining production reliability
- Experience designing for data completeness, accuracy, lineage, reconciliation, access control, and auditability
- Sound judgment in production operations, including incident response, monitoring, debugging, change management, and reliability improvements
- Ability to partner with senior Finance and Engineering leaders and translate financial, operational, and control needs into a practical engineering roadmap
- Ability to lead experts and make informed architecture decisions without needing to be the deepest specialist in every domain; clear communication of priorities and tradeoffs to executives and technical teams
- Experience with Rust, TypeScript/Node.js, or Python; finance applications such as NetSuite, Kyriba, or BlackLine; and SOX or SOC control environments is valuable
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.

Flowdesk is looking for an HFT Quantitative Developer to build low-latency order management, market-data, strategy-execution, and exchange-connectivity systems.
Location: New York; New Jersey
Workplace: hybrid
Provectus is a Premier AWS partner and an Anthropic Preferred Partner at the forefront of applied AI, helping enterprises turn Claude, agentic systems, and their own data into measurable business outcomes.
With offices in North America, LATAM, and EMEA, we partner with clients worldwide. Our work centers on two verticals — Financial Services & Insurance and Healthcare & Life Sciences — where we deploy five pre-built AI Blueprints: Submission Flow, Portfolio Lens, Asset Flow, Revenue Flow, and Evidence Lens. Each rebuilds a critical business process front to back, shipped from working code. You'll learn the customer's job before you automate it. Most AI projects fail the same way: someone gathers requirements, someone writes a spec, and a team ships a workflow nobody uses. We think the requirements step is the bug. So we remove it.
As an Associate Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll join each engagement paired with a Senior FDE. Together you'll spend time alongside the client to understand their workflow and business needs. Then you'll help rebuild that work from first principles, and write real production code for it. You won't start from zero: every engagement begins from a Blueprint that has already shipped for a customer in that industry, and what you learn in the field goes back into it.
This role is for early-career engineers who want to learn how AI gets deployed in the real world — and who'd rather learn by building than by watching.
What You'll Need:
A degree in computer science, engineering or another STEM field
0–2 years of experience; internships, co-ops and research
You built projects, where you integrated AI as a part of your SDLC (internship, research or hackathon entry) that you can walk us through in depth: what worked, what broke, and what you'd change
Hands-on Claude Code basics
Strong programming fundamentals in Python or TypeScript
Curiosity and speed of learning — you pick up unfamiliar subjects quickly and ask good questions, especially about how real businesses work
Good commication skills - ability to explain complex technical subjects to non-engineers
Willingness to spend real time learning a client's job before you write code. It's the most unusual part of this role, and the most valuable
Location & Work Arrangement: This role requires
working on-site from our New York office 3 days per week
Great If You Have:
Cloud basics: AWS/Azure/GCP, containers, CI/CD AI/ML coursework or foundations
Comfort with ambiguity — our engagements start open-ended by design Interest or coursework in financial services, insurance, healthcare or asset management
Data pipelines or SQL; classical ML or MLOps (PyTorch, SageMaker, MLflow); infrastructure-as-code
Open-source contributions, hackathon projects or public writing on applied AI
Claude certification or AWS certification
What You'll Learn:
How to deploy LLM and agentic systems into regulated production — banks, insurers, health systems
How to build evaluation harnesses: defining what "working" means, then measuring it
Cloud delivery on AWS Claude Code in production, working toward Claude certification
A real business domain — insurance underwriting, healthcare revenue cycle, asset management
How to work with clients: their operators, engineers and executives
Your first 90 days:
Foundations — onboarding into our Blueprints, our delivery stack (Claude Code, AWS) and how we build evals, plus a primer on your first client's industry
The seat — join an engagement with your senior FDE. Shadow the operator, then do the work yourself
Your first piece — own a scoped part of a production system, with code review and your senior FDE beside you
What You'll Do
Take the seat — learn a client's function from the inside, and help redesign it alongside your senior FDE and the Forward Deployed Executive
Build — ship production code for LLM applications, agentic workflows, and retrieval and extraction pipelines
Build the evaluation harness before the feature — define what working means, then measure it
Take systems to production on AWS, and feed what you learn back into the Blueprint
Grow into ownership — your team is measured by the client's business results, not by hours. Drive adoption, because a system nobody uses hasn't shipped — and build credibility with the client's engineers and operators
What you'll get:
A senior FDE paired with you on every engagement, a named mentor accountable for your growth
Regular feedback and a clear path to Forward Deployed Engineer
Frontier delivery work across Cowork Activation, Agentic SDLC and Blueprint Activations in Financial Services and Healthcare
Real production experience in regulated industries most early-career engineers never see
Opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI and cloud solutions
Full-time model
Unlimited Vacation policy
Generous health, vision, and dental insurance
401(K) matching plan
Salary base range: $120-145k. The salary range is determined through interviews and a review of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, and alignment with market data.

We are looking for a
n Accounting Manager to join our Finance Department!
Your main tasks will be:
Own full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of five international entities (US, Hong Kong, Cyprus), running month-end close, GL and trial balance reviews, and intercompany reconciliations.
Run parallel accounting across our corporate ERP and QuickBooks, monitoring automated transaction feeds and catching duplicates or mismatches before they reach the books.

Maintain and execute the group tax calendar — CIT, VAT and local returns filed and paid on time, every time, with zero penalties.

We expect from you:
3+ years as a Senior, International or General Ledger Accountant in a multi-entity international company, working under IFRS and/or US GAAP. Big-4 or mid-tier audit background is a plus, not a must — and your industry doesn't matter.
Hands-on experience with statutory reporting, audits and local tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions. US, Cyprus or Hong Kong exposure is highly desirable; other international jurisdictions are fully acceptable.
Experience with parallel accounting in an ERP alongside QuickBooks or Xero, and a working understanding of automated data ingestion (bank feeds, API integrations).
Advanced Google Sheets/Excel for complex reconciliations and anomaly detection, plus practical skill in P&L forecasting and variance analysis.
Upper-Intermediate English (B2+), written and spoken, for daily work with auditors, banking compliance officers and international service providers — and the autonomy to push an audit to completion without being chased.

to work full time;
Vacation
28 calendar days per year;
7 wellness days per year
(time off) that can be used to deal with household issues, to lie down and recover without taking sick leave;
Bonuses up to $5000
for recommending successful applicants for positions in the company;
Full payment for
professional training, international conferences and meetings;
Corporate discount for
English lessons;
Health benefits.
According to the paychecks, if you are not eligible for corporate medical insurance, the company will compensate you with up to $ 1,000 gross per year per employee. This can be spent on self-purchase of health insurance or on doctor’s fees for yourself and close relatives (spouse, children);
Workplace organization.
The company provides all employees with an equipped workplace and all the necessary equipment (table, armchair, wifi, etc.) in our offices or co-working locations. In the other locations, the company provides reimbursement of workplace costs up to $ 1000 gross once every 3 years, according to the paychecks. This money can be spent on the rent of the co-working room, on equipping the working place at home (desk, chair, Internet, etc.) during those 3 years;
Internal gamified gratitude system:
receive bonuses from colleagues and exchange them for time off, merch, team building activities, massage certificates, etc.

Strong portfolio mindset, with the ability to assess strategic fit, concentration, adjacency, risk, expected value and trade-offs across multiple businesses, products, markets and initiatives.
Strong financial and investment analysis skills, including business-case review, valuation logic, unit economics, scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.
Proven ability to evaluate new projects, market-entry plans, strategic initiatives and investment theses independently and to challenge assumptions constructively.
Excellent research and intelligence capabilities, including the ability to synthesize market, competitor, regulatory, technology and customer signals into decision-relevant implications.
Experience preparing executive and Investment Committee / Board-level materials, recommendations and concise decision memos.
Prior experience leading and developing a high-performing strategy, research or analytical team, with strong quality-control standards.
Experience in financial services, FinTech, digital assets, payments, banking, brokerage, investment or financial infrastructure is strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills; able to build trust while maintaining independent judgment.
High professional integrity, intellectual curiosity, discretion and the confidence to provide an evidence-based challenge to senior stakeholders.
Advanced degree or relevant professional qualification is a plus.
Responsibilities
Group Strategy & Portfolio Stewardship
Own and maintain the group strategy process, including the strategic narrative, priorities, key choices, assumptions and periodic refreshes.
Maintain a portfolio-wide view of businesses, products, markets, capabilities and strategic initiatives, and identify imbalances, gaps, duplication, concentration risk and adjacency opportunities.
Develop evidence-based recommendations on where the group should focus management attention, strategic resources and future investment, while preserving the Investment Committee's decision authority.
Ensure that major roadmaps and programs remain coherent with the approved group strategy and portfolio logic.
Research, Intelligence & Strategic Insight
Set the strategic research agenda based on the group's highest-priority decisions and uncertainties.
Build and maintain structured intelligence on markets, competitors, regulation, technology, customer behavior, business models and relevant macro trends.
Convert research findings into implications, scenarios, strategic options and concise recommendations rather than stand-alone information reporting.
Establish strong standards for source quality, analytical rigor, assumptions, fact checking and institutional knowledge retention.
Value Creation Opportunities
Continuously identify and prioritize value creation opportunities across the existing portfolio, including growth, cross-business synergies, product / market adjacencies, partnerships, operating-model improvements and other strategic moves.
Structure each opportunity into a clear thesis covering expected value, strategic rationale, risks, dependencies, required capabilities, sequencing and success measures.
Work with the Portfolio Management Team and Business Owners to convert approved opportunities into roadmaps and executable initiatives without taking over day-to-day execution ownership.
Evaluation of New Projects, Markets & Strategic Moves
Lead independent strategic review of new project proposals and market plans before they are submitted for approval.
Assess strategic fit, market attractiveness, competitive position, economics, risk, execution readiness, alternatives and portfolio implications; test critical assumptions through scenarios and sensitivity analysis.
Formulate a clear recommendation - proceed, revise, stage, defer or stop - and define the key conditions or milestones required for success.
Partner with the M&A and Deal Team on strategic fit, investment thesis and portfolio impact of potential acquisitions, divestments and other transactions, while the Deal Team retains transaction execution ownership.
After-Action Review & Portfolio Learning
Establish a systematic after-action review approach for major strategic actions, initiatives and completed deals.
Compare actual outcomes with the original strategic thesis, expected economics, risk assumptions, milestones and value-creation plan, and assess the resulting effect on the group portfolio.
Capture lessons learned, identify repeatable patterns and feed findings back into strategy, evaluation frameworks and future recommendations.
Investment Committee & Executive Decision Support
Prepare clear, concise and decision-grade strategic recommendations for Investment Committee and senior leadership consideration.
Work with the Board / IC Secretary to ensure strategic materials are complete, internally consistent and framed around the decision required, alternatives, trade-offs and implications.
Support interpretation of execution feedback and result reporting from the Portfolio Management Team and Business Owners, focusing on strategic implications and any need to revisit prior assumptions or decisions.
Maintain a disciplined distinction between analysis / recommendation, governance decision-making and execution ownership.
Team Leadership & Functional Excellence
Lead, coach and develop the Strategy and Research Team; allocate work against the highest-value strategic questions and maintain clear accountability for output quality and deadlines.
Build repeatable methods, templates and analytical standards for strategy development, market / project evaluation, portfolio review, research and after-action analysis.
Create a high-trust culture that values intellectual honesty, constructive challenge, clear writing, collaboration and decision usefulness.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⭐ YOUR MISSION
Brokers play a structural role in how large and very large employers select, negotiate, and manage their health and prévoyance coverage. We're looking for a Broker Partnerships Lead to build and animate Alan's relationships with the brokers who operate in the Enterprise segment, turning Alan into a trusted, credible, and commercially compelling partner for those actors, and supporting our Enterprise Sales and Key Account Management teams.
⭐ LOCATION
On-site in Paris, Île-de-France.
What makes this role genuinely unique
- You'll shape how one of Europe's fastest-growing health insurance companies builds its relationships with the brokers operating in the large and very large employer segment across France, and beyond.
- You'll have real ownership from day one and operate at the highest levels of the broker market.
- You'll shape Alan’s broker strategy and execute it. Alan is at an early stage of building this capability. The playbook is yours to define and scale.
- You'll work directly with Alan's Enterprise Sales, Key Account Management, Insurance, and Executive Leadership.
⭐ YOUR ROLE
Relationships & Presence
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with the brokers that sit between us and the largest employers in our markets (whether private or public), at senior and managing director level.
- Map the ecosystem, prioritize interlocutors, and design Alan's engagement strategy.
- Be the consistent Alan voice that brokers recognize: someone who shows up, follows through, and is known as easy to deal with without giving away what shouldn't be given.
Partnership with Alan's Enterprise & Commercial work
- Be a partner to our Enterprise Sales and KAM teams on every broker situation: drive strategic decisions deal by deal and turn ecosystem knowledge into commercial leverage.
- Introduce the right broker contacts at the right moment in the commercial cycle, transforming relationship capital into pipeline access on large and very large accounts.
- Share Alan's value and positioning with broker partners to help them understand, represent, and actively promote Alan within their client portfolios.
- Hold the line on our non-negotiables while finding creative ways to make the collaboration work for both sides.
Sector Engagement & Anticipation
- Follow the broker market at deal level and ecosystem level: who is growing, who is consolidating, where portfolio shifts are happening, and what it means for Alan's pipeline and positioning.
- Be a sharp, early internal voice on where the broker market is heading and on the implications for Alan's strategy, including on consolidation, regulation, and competitive dynamics.
Build & Scale
- Knowledge base: Build and maintain a knowledge library on broker positions, portfolio footprints, engagement history, and contractual frameworks shared with Enterprise Sales and KAM teams to increase win rates.
- Framework & tools: Implement processes and AI tools to improve the quality and efficiency of our broker engagement and contract documentation (conventions de courtage, commission tracking, data sharing agreements).
- Collaboration: Share best practices with the broader Enterprise & Commercial team and contribute proven methodologies to their scaled commercial operations.
- Market intelligence: Provide competitive intelligence on how brokers position Alan vs. incumbents, how they advise clients on insurer selection, and where we are perceived as "difficult to work with" — and feed that back into product, pricing, and GTM strategy.
⭐ IS IT YOU WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
You’ll be a great fit for this opportunity if you:
- Have at least 8 years of total experience working with or inside the broker ecosystem: at a broker or in an external partnership or distribution role at a health insurer or mutuelle
- Have legitimate credibility at senior broker level: ability to engage managing director and senior leadership at major brokers as a peer, built through a personal representative past or years of substantive deal-level engagement on the insurer or employer side
- Have deep knowledge of the broker ecosystem in the large and very large employer segment: how brokers operate, how they are compensated, how they advise clients, and how they influence insurer selection at this scale
- Have deep understanding of health and prévoyance insurance: the technical dimension (garanties, gestion, régimes, prévoyance) must be native, not learned on the job
- Have proven ability to build trust with broker counterparts from the insurer or employer side: long-game, trustworthy, discreet, commercially disciplined
- Demonstrate outstanding stakeholder management: calm, ego-free, able to represent Alan substantively without making it about yourself and equally able to hold firm positions internally when sales pressure pushes toward broker accommodation beyond our framework
- Demonstrate commercial impact from prior broker-related work: broker relationships that translated into material deal flow, pipeline access, or portfolio migration
- Are a self-starter: comfortable building from scratch in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with limited process and real autonomy
- Are ego-free and lever-minded: you accelerate others, you don't seek the spotlight
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the F-H level range https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity.

Our mission
Shape the engineering foundations of Mistral AI’s next generation of compute capacity while improving the resilience of the infrastructure already in service. This role combines technical design leadership with field reliability engineering: you will establish demanding, practical requirements for colocation power and cooling, scrutinize proposed solutions and turn operating experience into better designs, safer changes and more reliable AI capacity.
Operating context & accountability
Mistral deploys high-density AI infrastructure in colocation facilities, where partners operate the underlying critical plant. You will be Mistral’s technical counterpart to providers, designers, commissioning specialists and internal IT and capacity teams. The position combines forward-looking design authority with hands-on technical investigation and portfolio reliability improvement. It requires depth in one core engineering discipline and the judgment to lead multidisciplinary decisions with specialist support.
Key responsibilities — design and technical standards
- Own and continuously improve Mistral’s technical design criteria and colocation requirements for new facilities, expansions and retrofits, including availability objectives, failure domains, maintainability and operational flexibility.
- Translate GPU platform roadmaps into measurable facility envelopes: IT load and transients, rack density, electrical topology, redundancy, cooling capacity, supply/return temperatures, flow, pressure, water quality and monitoring.
- Review utility and MV/LV arrangements, transformers, generators, UPS, switchgear, busway, protection coordination, earthing, power quality and metering for suitability under demanding AI loads.
- Review mechanical and controls architecture, including chilled-water and heat-rejection systems, pumps, control sequences, CDU integration, leak detection, filtration, water treatment and cooling recovery scenarios.
- Lead multidisciplinary reviews of single-line diagrams, P&IDs, sequences of operation, design calculations, capacity models, failure-mode studies and proposed deviations; document risks and decisions.
- Participate in site selection, technical due diligence, provider RFPs, design milestones and commercial technical schedules, challenging assumptions before they become delivery constraints.
- Define design review and exception processes that balance performance, resilience, deployment speed, efficiency, capital cost and long-term operability.
Key responsibilities — commissioning and delivery assurance
- Partner with delivery and commissioning teams to define functional and integrated testing requirements, acceptance criteria, evidence packages and outstanding-defect management.
- Validate that electrical and cooling infrastructure can support the contracted AI load envelope under normal, maintenance and credible fault conditions.
- Review test scripts and results for loss of utility, UPS/generator transitions, cooling component failures, controls faults, CDU interface events and staged restoration where applicable.
- Ensure operational handover includes accurate drawings, asset and interface registers, monitoring points, setpoints, maintenance constraints, emergency procedures and unresolved risk ownership.
- Support live-site changes and capacity upgrades with a disciplined review of impact, sequencing, rollback plans and operational readiness.
Key responsibilities — field reliability and root-cause analysis
- Act as a technical escalation point for recurring or high-impact electrical, mechanical and controls incidents across operational colocation sites.
- Analyze alarms, BMS/EPMS trends, event sequences, power-quality records, cooling telemetry, commissioning findings and maintenance evidence to distinguish symptoms from systemic causes.
- Lead or challenge technical root-cause investigations with colocation partners, including common-mode failures, protection miscoordination, thermal instability, control logic, hydraulic performance and hidden capacity limitations.
- Develop risk-ranked corrective actions and reliability improvement programs; validate effectiveness through evidence and post-change monitoring.
- Identify fleet-wide patterns and feed lessons learned into reference designs, acceptance tests, technical specifications and provider governance.
- Review maintenance and change proposals that create material exposure to compute availability, providing clear technical recommendations and escalation where required.
Key responsibilities — collaboration and leadership
- Work with IT hardware, network and platform teams to understand the operational consequences of rack-level and cluster-level failure domains.
- Influence colocation providers, consultants and OEM partners through technically rigorous, fact-based reviews without relying on direct operational authority.
- Present design trade-offs, reliability risks and investment recommendations in language accessible to engineering leadership and business stakeholders.
- Develop reusable standards, technical playbooks and engineering knowledge sharing to support consistent decisions across a rapidly expanding portfolio.
What success looks like
- New capacity is accepted against well-defined electrical, thermal and resilience criteria with transparent technical exceptions.
- Design risks are identified early, reducing late changes, stranded capacity and avoidable operational constraints.
- Repeat incidents and unresolved critical engineering defects decrease as corrective actions are verified.
- Field experience produces measurable improvements to future designs and live-site operating resilience.
Minimum qualifications
- At least 8 years in mission-critical data center design, engineering, commissioning or technical reliability, including responsibility for complex technical decisions.
- Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent professional experience, with deep knowledge in one discipline and strong working knowledge of the other.
- Demonstrated expertise in critical power and cooling architecture, redundancy, failure-mode analysis and operational risk management.
- Experience reviewing engineering drawings, calculations, commissioning evidence and root-cause analyses, and coordinating technical specialists.
- Ability to influence colocation providers and cross-functional stakeholders; excellent English communication and willingness to travel.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with AI/HPC infrastructure, high-density accelerator platforms and direct-to-chip liquid cooling.
- Knowledge of CDUs, facility-to-technology cooling interfaces, hydraulic performance, cooling-water quality and leak management.
- Experience with electrical protection/selectivity, power quality, controls sequences, integrated systems testing and BMS/EPMS analytics.
- Experience creating technical standards across multiple sites or providers, including design deviations and fleet-wide reliability improvements.
- Professional engineering registration or equivalent technical credentials.

An overview of this role
As the Corporate Development Director, you'll help influence how GitLab invests to win: what we build, what we buy, where we partner, and what we should not pursue. This role sits within the Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships team, reporting to the VP, Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships.
This role straddles strategy and M&A engagements. You'll lead research that frames GitLab's options: mapping the markets in and around our AI-powered DevSecOps platform, testing where we have a right to win, and turning that into clear recommendations for the executive team. When the answer is to acquire, you'll drive the deal process end to end, from outreach through close and integration.
Success here is not measured by deal count. It looks like sharper strategic choices: a well-reasoned point of view on our priority markets, investment theses that product and executive leaders rely on, acquisitions that speed up the roadmap when buying is the right answer, and an educated no when it isn't. You'll own the wider market perspective rather than individual product categories, and work with the team's Analyst on the research behind it.
What you'll do
Strategy and research
Own the wider market view.
Research the broader market GitLab competes in, beyond specific product categories: competitive dynamics, AI-native entrants, technology shifts and where value is moving. Collaborate with the team's Analyst on the research and turn the findings into a clear point of view on where GitLab should play.
Build an investment thesis for each focus area.
Work with Product and Engineering leaders to define the problems worth solving, the capabilities GitLab needs, and what it would cost in time and money to get there on our own.
Own the competitive and landscape view.
Maintain market maps and a current read on GitLab's competitors: their strategy, product direction, positioning, pricing, and M&A and funding activity. Produce competitor analyses that show where we lead, where we're exposed and how rivals are likely to move. Flag shifts by competitors, hyperscalers and AI labs that change our options, and bring the implications to Product and the executive team.
Define where GitLab should not play.
Identify adjacencies that dilute focus and markets where the economics or competition work against us. Make the case for a no with the same rigor as a yes.
Build, buy or partner
Run the build, buy, partner analysis.
For each strategic gap, compare the options side by side on speed, cost, risk, control and strategic fit, and bring a clear recommendation.
Deliver strategic clarity to
executives and the Board.
Produce short strategy memos/decks and business cases that set out the decision, the trade-offs and what we give up with each path.
Feed company strategy and planning.
Bring an outside-in view of the market and the inorganic options available into annual and long-range planning.
Work hand in hand with Strategic Partnerships.
When partnering is the right answer, frame the opportunity and hand it to the partnership owner with a clear thesis. When it isn't, explain why.
Deal execution and integration
Own end-to-end deal process management.
Validate target fit against GitLab's our target profile, product roadmap and other criteria, and build the acquisition rationale and business case. Drive our M&A process from intro call through the various steps through to closing and integration.
Evaluate the deal.
Develop valuation, commercial integrity assessment, impact on GitLab's business and provide negotiations assistance to the VP and the executive team.
Lead cross-functional diligence.
Run pre-LOI validation and diligence across Product, Engineering, Security, Finance, Legal and People, and communicate findings clearly.
Drive deal documents with Legal.
Prepare NDAs, LOIs and purchase agreements with GitLab Legal and outside counsel.
Own integration outcomes.
Lead post-acquisition integration as the DRI, measured against the roadmap and business goals in the business case. Bring lessons learned back into the strategy work.
Build the external network.
Maintain relationships with founders, executives, investors, bankers and advisors that bring us early insight and pipeline.
What you'll bring
Strategy and deal experience.
8+ years across corporate development, corporate strategy, strategy consulting or technology investing, including 5+ years leading acquisitions end to end in enterprise software.
Structured strategic thinking.
You form a point of view from incomplete information, test it against data, and change your mind when the evidence says so. You're as comfortable recommending that we stay out of a market as that we enter it.
Market research depth.
Skilled in market sizing, competitive analysis and landscape mapping, and in turning research into a recommendation, not a report.
Deal craft.
Skilled in valuation, financial modeling, deal structuring, negotiation and integration planning, with experience across varied consideration structures.
Technical fluency.
A working understanding of software development, DevSecOps and the AI landscape, enough to hold substantive conversations with product and engineering leaders about roadmaps and architecture.
Clear executive communication.
You write short, decision-ready updates and present trade-offs plainly to executives and the Board, in an async-first environment.
Influence without authority.
You build trust across Product, Engineering, Finance and Legal and move decisions forward across functions.
Ownership with collaboration.
You own the strategic view and the recommendation, and partner closely with the team's Analyst on research and analysis.
Preferred:
familiarity with the DevSecOps, security, AI and open source ecosystems.
You value the
all remote
lifestyle and share our
values
.
About the team
The Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships team helps GitLab decide how to grow beyond what we build on our own. We own inorganic strategy: acquisitions, strategic partnerships with hyperscalers and AI labs, and the research that tells us which to pursue and which to pass on.
We work across Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal and the executive group. We set direction and do the detailed work ourselves, with a high degree of ownership and transparency in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.

And beyond.
🛡️ THE ROLE
Most GRC roles are about keeping auditors happy. This one is about earning our members' trust: every day, they share their diagnoses, their claims and their care with us.
You'll own security governance and risk at Alan end to end. That means one clear framework across our certifications and regulations, which the whole company uses to decide what matters most. You set the direction, make the calls on risk, and help every team own its part.
We just earned our HDS certification, and there's much more to build as we grow from 1M to many millions of members, across more countries and regulators. That includes how we govern AI, which Alan uses across its products and operations.
This is a hands-on senior role. You do the work yourself, mentor the junior GRC engineer we're hiring alongside you, and grow the team over time.
🚀 WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Make our security framework a tool for the whole company. You own the full certification cycle (ISO 27001, HDS and those to come), and turn it into something teams use every day to prioritise, not a binder for auditors.
- Bring the security view on regulation. Legal and Risk own the regulatory relationships. You bring the security answer: what the rules mean for how we protect data, and which controls make it work in practice.
- Run risk as an ongoing programme. You map and prioritise security risks, including AI risks, turn them into clear treatment plans, and feed them into company-wide risk decisions with the Risk team.
- Help every team own its risks. You define the controls framework and the standards, while the teams who build and run our systems own the controls. You brief the board and audit committee, and you know which findings need an urgent call and which can wait for the quarterly report.
- Own incident governance. You triage and escalate incidents, own business continuity and disaster recovery, and shape the security side of our regulatory incident reports.
- Be a credible partner to engineering. You work with engineering teams early on new designs and spot control gaps (access, encryption, logging) before they ship. You don't need to be an architect, but you can hold the conversation.
🏗️ WHAT YOU'LL BUILD
- One governance model: clear ownership of risks and controls across teams, so security decisions don't bottleneck on one person.
- A living risk map: prioritised risks that actually drive company and engineering decisions.
- One compliance backbone: a single control system across our countries and regulators, built to scale.
- An automated evidence engine: evidence collected straight from engineering systems, so audits run continuously instead of as a quarterly rush.
You'll work closely with Legal, the Data Protection Officer, Internal Audit and Risk, and day to day with engineering and operations teams.
⭐ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Your team
You'll join Alan's Corporate team, which brings together our control functions: Risk, Corporate Governance & Internal Control, Legal, Compliance and Security. They share one mission: building what lets Alan operate at scale, safely and responsibly. Within that group, you carry the security governance and risk dimension, working hand in hand with the security engineers who run our infrastructure and platform security, and with a junior GRC engineer we're hiring alongside you. You'll be hands-on every day, building and owning the work yourself. Along the way, you'll mentor the junior engineer and help shape how GRC grows at Alan.
What you bring
- You want to build and own things yourself, and you enjoy helping someone else grow while you do it.
- 6+ years in security, with real GRC ownership.
- You've run a GRC roadmap in a certified or strongly regulated environment (ISO 27001, HDS, SOC 2, or regulated sectors like health, insurance or finance). You're comfortable working with certification auditors, and you can explain what a framework requires and why it makes sense for business teams.
- You take a stand on risks, and you'd rather close one real risk than write ten policies.
- You're fluent in French and English.
A big plus
- You've driven a certification or audit cycle end to end yourself.
- You've automated compliance work, or you're eager to, and you have a view on where AI can help.
- You've presented risk to senior leaders or a board.
- You've mentored or onboarded someone before.
🌍 HOW WE WORK
Location: You must be legally eligible to work from France, Belgium or Spain.
Remote work: We offer remote work flexibility.
Contract type: Permanent contract only (no freelancing).

If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.
Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist. We'll be thrilled to receive your application!

About Higgsfield
http://higgsfield.ai/Higgsfield.ai http://Higgsfield.ai is the fastest-growing generative AI platform in the world. Creators use Higgsfield to produce video, images and interactive content with 200+ frontier models, at a scale few consumer products ever reach: we grew revenue 2x in the last quarter and crossed $1B in annualized cash revenue in September 2026.
We recently closed a $500M funding round at a $5B valuation to accelerate what’s working. The company is small relative to its revenue, decisions are fast, and the distance between an idea and production is measured in days.
About the role
You will join the Product Growth team, which owns all of Higgsfield’s revenue and measures its results in money, not process. Product Growth is the fastest-shipping team at Higgsfield, with 80+ releases a month. You will own one of our verticals, Lifecycle, with end-to-end ownership of conversion, retention and engagement: turning new users into paying subscribers, paying subscribers into habitual users, and consumers into prosumers.
We are looking for a PM who treats growth as an engineering problem, not a campaign calendar. You should be comfortable going from cohort data to shipped product in the same week, defending every claimed win with honest attribution, and understanding the full picture behind the numbers: why users buy, why they leave, and what brings them back. This is a hands-on role with direct impact on the largest line items in the business, where small mistakes are expensive.
Key responsibilities
- Own conversion and activation: onboarding flows, paywalls, aha-moment design and time-to-first-value.
- Build engagement systems and in-product communication: tasks, streaks, rewards and notifications that create durable habits rather than one-off spikes.
- Own churn end-to-end: voluntary churn (cancellation flows, save offers, plan right-sizing) and involuntary churn (dunning, payment recovery, grace periods).
- Run winback as a system: offer architecture, timing and channel orchestration for cancelled and dormant cohorts.
- Drive expansion and additional revenue: upsells, plan upgrades and credit top-ups from engaged cohorts.
- Go deep on users and data: behavioral segmentation, cohort deep-dives and insights that feed every team in Product Growth.
- Work closely with analysts: set clear analytical tasks, find insights in the data and turn them into product decisions.
- Look beyond a single metric: understand unit economics and how each change affects the business as a whole.
Minimum qualifications
- A proven, personal contribution to scaling a business. You can name the curve you bent and the mechanism that bent it. Big-company experience alone is not enough.
- A track record of owning conversion, retention, engagement or monetization metrics, ideally in a subscription business.
- Strong data skills: cohorts, retention curves, segmentation. You can build your own queries and know how to work with analysts effectively.
- Hands-on experience with unit economics and shaping business strategy. You work end-to-end, from forming a hypothesis to forecasting its impact on the business.
- Measurement discipline: frequent experiments, honest attribution and guard metrics.
- Fast thinking: you get up to speed on new context quickly and come to concrete answers, not general frameworks.
- A technical background is not required for this role.
Preferred qualifications
- Founding or entrepreneurial experience. We value it even if you have less than 2–3 years as a PM.
- Zero-to-one experience: you have launched a product and grown it.
- A track record of at least 4x year-over-year growth driven by your decisions.
- Background in consumer AI, subscriptions, gaming or a credits-based economy.
- Experience with payments, payment recovery tooling or CRM/lifecycle platforms.
Who this is not for
- You prefer working from complete specifications rather than defining problems yourself.
- You want a narrow, predictable scope and a stable schedule.
- You are looking for a slower release cycle. We ship daily.
How we hire
Recruiter screen → product case → take-home assignment → defense → final interview.
During the case, you’ll get context and around 10–15 minutes to give a concrete answer. We’re looking for specific solutions, not general reasoning.
What we offer
- Competitive compensation in USD with meaningful equity in a hyper-growth company valued at $5B.
- A team that owns its P&L end-to-end: you will see your work in the revenue numbers within weeks, not quarters.
- Direct access to founders and leadership, with zero layers between you and the decision.
- Relocation support to Almaty for candidates moving from another city or country.
- Company-provided equipment, meals, transportation or other office benefits.
This is a fully on-site role based in our Almaty office. Our team works from the office five days per week for the full working day. We believe in-person collaboration is an important part of how we move quickly, solve complex problems and build strong teams.

Requirements
We're looking for a Senio/Staff-level engineer with an open mind and a builder's instinct - someone who goes beyond executing tasks and is ready to own the High-Performance practice end-to-end: establish engineering processes, drive R&D, evaluate and champion new technologies, and lead their adoption in production.
The ideal candidate can bridge the gap between business requirements for low latency and high throughput and the realities of existing infrastructure - translating "we need to be faster" into an actionable technical roadmap. You bring a fresh perspective, know how to organize the work, and are equally comfortable optimizing a hardware parameter and presenting a strategy to stakeholders.
We expect 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps/SRE/Systems Engineer in performance-critical environments - and the maturity to grow yourself and grow a team around you.
Linux:
Advanced administration and OS-level tuning — real-time OS configurations, cgroups, CPU isolation, memory management, and low-level network stack configuration.
Hardware Internals:
Deep understanding of CPU power and performance states (C/P-states), Hyper-Threading / SMT trade-offs, TX/RX ring configuration, and the full data path from NIC through PCIe to memory and CPU. Ability to reason about and tune each stage of that path under production load.
Networking & TCP Internals:
Deep knowledge of TCP/IP — congestion control, ACK behavior, buffer tuning, and protocol-level latency sources. Strong Linux networking fundamentals: low-latency NIC configuration, bypass networking technologies (DPDK, RDMA), and market connectivity (multicast feeds, co-location networks, VPNs).
Performance Engineering:
Practical experience profiling latency-sensitive systems; familiarity with tools such as perf, flamegraph, strace, tcpdump, eBPF, and hardware performance counters.
Containerization:
Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including low-overhead deployment patterns and performance trade-offs of containerized workloads.
IaC:
Proven track record with Ansible, Terraform, and Helm in production environments.
Monitoring:
Hands-on experience with the Prometheus / Grafana stack; ability to build latency-aware dashboards and alerting (P99, jitter, throughput KPIs).
Scripting:
Solid scripting in Bash and Python; Golang is a strong plus given its role in systems tooling.
CI/CD & Secret Management:
Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines with experience integrating performance validation stages; familiarity with Vault for secrets management.
Security:
Understanding of DevSecOps principles and Kubernetes security policies.
Key Performance Metrics You'll Work With
Latency Distribution
- P99 / P99.9 across the tick-to-trade path, using hardware-level timestamps (NIC/PTP).
Jitter
- variance between min/max latency, measured over large sample sets in live market conditions.
Throughput
- messages per second (orders + cancels) under exchange burst scenarios.
System Reliability
- сontinuous monitoring of uptime
Extra Credit / Big Pluses
Hands-on experience with kernel-level optimization: syscall reduction, network stack bypass (DPDK, RDMA, Solarflare OpenOnload).
Background in HFT, algorithmic trading, or other ultra-low-latency production environments.
Experience with hardware timestamping, PTP/IEEE 1588, and precision time synchronization.
Familiarity with colocation operations and exchange connectivity (cross-connects, proximity hosting).
Proven SRE track record with formal SLO/error budget frameworks in latency-sensitive contexts.
DevSecOps: vulnerability scanning, Zero Trust, RBAC, and secure delivery pipelines.
Understanding of business processes in FinTech, crypto, or electronic trading.
Responsibilities
Low-Latency Infrastructure Ownership:
Design, deploy, and continuously optimize infrastructure for latency-sensitive trading systems — market data handlers, order/deal gateways, and risk check engines. Own the full stack from bare metal to application delivery. Define and maintain a reference architecture for low-latency connectivity when onboarding new trading venues, including reproducible configuration baselines, validation procedures, and performance acceptance criteria — so every new venue goes live on a proven, optimized stack.
Cloud & Hybrid Network Connectivity:
Design, implement, and maintain complex low-latency network solutions for cloud provider interconnects - including cross-connects and Direct Connect / ExpressRoute links between cloud regions, hybrid on-premise/cloud topologies, and high-throughput inter-server fabrics. Ensure both latency minimization and fault tolerance at every layer: physical redundancy, failover routing, and path diversity across providers and regions.
Hardware & OS Stack Tuning:
Go deep on the full hardware and OS stack - CPU pinning, C/P-states, HT/SMT configuration, NUMA topology, IRQ affinity, TX/RX ring sizing, NIC offloading, and network stack bypass (DPDK/RDMA where applicable). Understand the complete data path from NIC through PCIe to memory and CPU - and optimize every hop.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Automate provisioning and configuration of high-performance environments using Ansible, Terraform, and Helm - with performance reproducibility as a first-class requirement.
Latency Profiling & Benchmarking:
Systematically profile and debug latency hotspots across the full execution path. Establish and maintain SLA/SLO targets; track P99/P99.9 distributions, jitter, and throughput - not just averages.
CI/CD for Performance:
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that include automated latency regression testing, so performance degradations are caught before they hit production.
Monitoring & Observability:
Design and operate comprehensive latency monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana) - including hardware timestamping (NIC/PTP) and fine-grained performance telemetry.
Colocation & Network Placement:
Research, evaluate, and manage optimal server placements - colocations, cross-connects, proximity hosting. Work closely with network and infrastructure teams to minimize physical and logical distance to exchanges.
High Availability & DRP:
Design systems that maintain stability and reliability under peak load while continuously pushing latency lower - zero regressions, always.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work alongside algo developers, quant teams, and network engineers to ensure trading strategies execute with minimal infrastructure overhead.
