About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As a Safeguards Enforcement Analyst on the account abuse team, you'll build and execute enforcement workflows that keep our products safe, with a focus on detecting and mitigating potential harm. Your initial focus will be account compromise: Anthropic's enforcement systems have to distinguish customers whose accounts have been compromised from actors abusing the platform — and today those two populations can look identical in the data. Stolen credentials and leaked keys are a growing abuse vector, and the collateral damage from enforcement against them lands on legitimate users. You'll own this problem end to end: detection, revocation, user notification, remediation, and the criteria for restoring access — turning what is today ad hoc incident response into a scalable, repeatable program.
This position may expand into broader areas of enforcement over time. Safety is core to our mission, and you'll help shape policy enforcement so that our users can safely interact with and build on top of our products in a harmless, helpful, and honest way.
Key responsibilities
Investigate credential-compromise incidents across first-party and third-party platforms, tracing actor behavior across accounts and surfaces
Design and operate remediation workflows for compromised accounts: revocation, customer notification, and standards for restoring access
Partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to improve how we separate compromised-customer traffic from willful abuse
Enforce usage policies with a focus on detecting and mitigating potentially harmful use of AI systems
Work with threat intelligence on emerging credential-abuse patterns and the actors behind them
Support the Safeguards policy design team by providing detailed feedback on policy gaps based on real enforcement scenarios
Keep up to date with emerging AI policy enforcement best practices, and use these to inform our decision-making and workflows
Write the policy framework for compromise scenarios, including cases where Anthropic can't independently verify a customer's security posture
Act as the enforcement SME when account compromise intersects with active abuse investigations
Minimum qualifications
Experience in trust and safety, fraud investigation, security operations, or a related field
Subject matter expertise in one or more of: account takeover, credential abuse, session security, or incident response
Experience designing or operating enforcement, remediation, or customer-recovery flows — not just detection
Comfort using data (SQL or similar tools) to trace actor behavior across accounts and to measure what's working
A thoughtful perspective on the tension between protecting the platform and restoring access for legitimate compromised customers
Strong written communication skills, with experience producing clear briefs about messy incidents for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Excellent judgment and the ability to collaborate with team members while navigating rapidly evolving priorities and workstreams
Preferred qualifications
Familiarity with credential-theft ecosystems or threat intelligence tooling
Experience working with fraud/risk vendors (e.g., device or network intelligence platforms)
Experience with API platform abuse specifically, not just consumer-account ATO
A deep interest in AI safety and responsible technology development
Experience writing effective prompts for generative AI systems in a content review or enforcement context

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

About the role
As a Safeguards Enforcement Analyst on the account abuse team, you'll build and execute enforcement workflows that keep our products safe, with a focus on detecting and mitigating potential harm. Your focus will be driving a number of enforcement areas including access controls and identity verification. You'll own the policy layer of these systems: what we ask users for, when, on what grounds, and what passes. The work sits at the intersection of policy, operations, and regulatory exposure.
This position may expand into broader areas of enforcement over time. Safety is core to our mission, and you'll help shape policy enforcement so that our users can safely interact with and build on top of our products in a harmless, helpful, and honest way.
Key responsibilities
Set collection policy for identity signals: what we request, in which enforcement states, and what evidence reinstates access
Improve verification program health — accuracy, appeal coverage, and consistency of outcomes
Own access policy for hard cases, including geographic restrictions and reseller arrangements
Run the operational queue for access-control cases alongside contractor support, authoring playbooks and QA'ing scaled review output
Work with Legal, Public Policy, and Privacy stakeholders to keep our approach proportionate, privacy-preserving, and responsive to an evolving regulatory landscape
Coordinate enforcement consistency with third-party platform partners
Keep up to date with emerging AI policy enforcement best practices, and use these to inform our decision-making and workflows
Stand up graduated enforcement in practice — verification requests, conditional reinstatement, and appeal pathways that satisfy regulatory requirements for automated decisions
Minimum qualifications
Experience in trust & safety, integrity, or risk policy work
Hands-on operational experience — you've owned or quality-checked live enforcement queues, not only authored policy
Subject matter expertise in one or more of: KYC, identity verification, age or identity assurance, or verification program operations

Experience driving cross-functional initiatives with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Policy partners — especially where safety, privacy, and usability tradeoffs need to be navigated together
Comfort using data (SQL or similar tools) to measure what's working and inform decisions
Strong written communication skills, with experience producing clear briefs and recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Job Description
We're hiring our first Head of Partnerships to own and grow the relationships that matter most to Metabase: the AI platforms and data warehouse vendors our customers build on every day. You'll work both ends of these relationships — building alignment with partner leadership teams, and building trust with individual sellers and solutions engineers who influence deals in the field. This is a senior, high-ownership role for someone who's built a partnerships function from the ground up before and wants to do it again, at a company loved by hundreds of thousands in the community.
What you’ll do:
Own and deepen Metabase's relationships with our key technical and go-to-market partners, with a near-term focus on major AI vendors and data warehouse providers
Build multi-threaded relationships at both the seller/field level and the partner leadership level, so Metabase stays top-of-mind at every layer of the partnership
Design and run co-selling and co-marketing motions that turn partner relationships into pipeline, not just goodwill
Represent Metabase in strategic conversations with partners ; negotiating priorities, resolving friction, and identifying where deeper technical or commercial integration creates mutual value
Build the systems, cadences, and reporting that turn partnerships from a set of relationships into a repeatable, measurable function
Identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities as Metabase's ecosystem grows
Act as the internal voice of our partners ; surfacing their roadmaps, priorities, and constraints to Sales, Marketing, and Product
What we’re looking for:
8+ years in partnerships, business development, or a related go-to-market role, with real ownership of partner relationships end-to-end
Experience building a partnerships function at a small, scaling startup — you've operated with limited playbooks and built the process as you went, not just executed an existing one
Comfortable operating at multiple altitudes: equally credible in a room with an AE or SE as in a room with a VP or Head of Partnerships
A track record of turning partner relationships into measurable pipeline and revenue, not just logos on a slide
Excellent written and verbal communicator who can represent Metabase credibly to technical and commercial audiences alike
Bonus: existing relationships within the AI or data warehouse ecosystems
Bonus: experience in open-source, developer tools, or data infrastructure companies
Qualities we’re looking/testing for
Ownership
Comfortable with experiments
Ability to create from scratch
Comfort at different altitudes (IC to VP)
Compensation
The US base salary range for this role is $175K–$250K annually, plus equity and benefits.
Compensation is determined by role, level, location, and individual qualifications, including skills, experience, and scope of responsibility. Pay may vary by geographic location and other job-related factors.
Benefits
We offer meaningful equity and a comprehensive US benefits package, including fully employer-covered medical, dental, and vision insurance (with 75% coverage for dependents), a 401(k) with employer match available to enroll after the first 30 days, flexible and unlimited paid time off including sick time, and an asynchronous, remote-first environment.

At WHOOP, we're on a mission to unlock human performance and healthspan. WHOOP empowers members to perform at a higher level and live longer through a deeper understanding of their bodies and daily lives.
We are seeking an Associate Director, Core Algorithms (Cloud) to lead the teams responsible for WHOOP's cloud-based algorithmic intelligence — the models and systems that transform physiological data into the sleep, recovery, and training insights our members rely on daily. This role is also responsible for ensuring our cloud algorithms evolve alongside WHOOP hardware, partnering with Sensor Intelligence and Hardware teams to translate new sensor capabilities into production-grade algorithmic experiences.
You will own the technical vision, execution, and organizational health of this team. You'll drive the evolution of our core production algorithms such as workout detection, strain, and sleep staging toward higher accuracy, better member experiences, and more mature development practices. You will partner closely with ML Platform, Sensor Intelligence, Research, Product, and Software Engineering to define what WHOOP algorithms can enable — not just how they perform technically, but how they show up for members.
This is a role for someone who has built and shipped physiological ML at scale in a consumer product, who has a deep product instinct for what algorithms mean to end users, and who knows how to elevate an ML organization's practices: raising the bar on tooling, processes, and standards to match the ambition of the work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the cloud ML team responsible for the algorithms powering sleep, recovery, and training
- Directly manage applied ML scientists and ML engineers; provide coaching, career development, and performance feedback that grows individual contributors into strong technical leaders
- Ensure the technical quality bar for algorithm development is maintained by establishing the processes, reviews, and standards that guarantee rigor from research through deployment, and diving into designs and architectural decisions where necessary
- Help drive the vision for what WHOOP algorithms and next-generation sensors can enable; advocate for member experience and push the boundaries of what our data makes possible
- Ensure cloud algorithms remain compatible with future hardware generations; partner with Sensor Intelligence and Hardware to evolve proof-of-concept algorithms that leverage new sensor capabilities and bring them to production readiness
- Establish and improve development lifecycle practices: experiment management, model validation, deployment pipelines, and production monitoring
- Partner with ML Platform / MLOps to define requirements and drive maturity improvements across experiment tracking, model monitoring, deployment automation, and observability
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Sensor Intelligence, Product, Software Engineering, and Research teams
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in machine learning or applied data science, with hands-on experience developing and shipping ML models for a consumer product
- 4+ years of people leadership experience directly managing machine learning scientists/engineers, with demonstrated growth of team members and a track record of building high-performing teams
- Experience scaling a production ML organization: growing teams and leaders, identifying gaps in the development lifecycle, and driving improvements that increase velocity, reliability, and rigor
- Deep product sense: ability to think about algorithms from the member's perspective, drive the vision for what algorithms can enable, and ensure the team is building toward meaningful user outcomes
- Ability to evaluate technical designs, guide architectural decisions, and ensure quality at the system level, without needing to write code day-to-day
- Experience defining and driving cross-functional programs with engineering, product, and science partners
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex ML concepts to diverse audiences including product, engineering, and executive stakeholders
PREFERRED
- Experience building algorithms using physiological or wearable sensor data (e.g., PPG, accelerometer, temperature, bioimpedance)
- Experience managing through hardware-coupled development timelines where sensor availability and device generations constrain algorithm roadmaps
- Familiarity with time-series modeling, sequential data, and the specific challenges of continuous physiological monitoring
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
Interested in the role, but don’t meet every qualification? We encourage you to still apply! At WHOOP, we believe there is much more to a candidate than what is written on paper, and we value character as much as experience. As we continue to build a diverse and inclusive environment, we encourage anyone who is interested in this role to apply.
