About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
At Anthropic, we're building AI systems that are safe, beneficial, and transformative. Our mission is to develop AI that benefits humanity, and we believe the most powerful capabilities emerge when we thoughtfully bridge the gap between research breakthroughs and real-world applications.
Claude is getting good at research. Given a well-posed problem, it can read the literature, write and run simulations, analyze results, and iterate on a design across physics, materials, chemistry, and engineering. But most of the hardest problems in science and engineering aren't well-posed. They live inside companies and labs with their own data, tools, constraints, and experts, and progress depends on turning all of that into work a model can actually do and check.
Our Applied AI, Science & Engineering team takes Claude to the scientists and engineers working on hard problems in energy, materials, hardware design, and other physical-world fields. We build the tools Claude needs to do real research and engineering work. Mostly that means software: the agent harnesses, integrations, evaluations, and working processes that turn a partner's problem into something Claude can make progress on and validate. We find real-world problems and test what we build through partner engagements, then feed our learnings back to our research and product teams. It's early, and the engineers who join now will shape how Claude gets applied to science and engineering.
This is an engineering role first. You'll spend real time with domain experts, become the person who knows how to get Claude working in their field, and prototype quickly alongside them. Most of your time, though, goes into building and hardening the systems that make that work repeatable, not into writing recommendations or configuring someone else's product. A science or engineering background is a big plus, but what matters most is that you can earn the trust of expert researchers, turn a fuzzy problem into something concrete and checkable, and ship.
Responsibilities
Build the agent harnesses and research loops that let Claude carry a problem from literature review through hypothesis generation, simulation, analysis, and design iteration
Connect scientific computing and simulation tools (finite element, CFD, electromagnetic, or molecular modeling codes, for example) so Claude can drive them reliably and at scale
Design and build evaluations that tell us whether Claude's work is actually right, and be honest about where it isn't
Sit with scientists and engineers at partner organizations to learn their problem, data, tools, and constraints, and turn open-ended questions into well-specified, verifiable tasks with clear success criteria
Prototype with partners, ship pilots into their workflows, and cut anything that doesn't move the problem forward
Turn what works in one engagement into shared tools, reusable components, and documented processes the next one can start from
Be the technical voice on how Claude performs on science and engineering work, explaining results, limits, and tradeoffs clearly to researchers, engineering leads, and non-technical stakeholders alike
Partner with our research and product teams to share where models fall short on science and engineering work, and help shape what comes next
You may be a good fit if you
Have 8+ years of experience building software, with strong engineering fundamentals and comfort across the stack, from data pipelines to tooling to quick interfaces
Have built real systems with large language models, including agents, tool use, or evaluations
Have worked on technical problems in a science or engineering field, such as physics, materials, chemistry, or electrical or mechanical engineering
Have a track record of zero-to-one work in startup or startup-like environments\
Can work directly with expert users, understand their workflows deeply, and still keep the focus on building the right system rather than the one first requested
Have good judgment about what can and can't be verified, and are comfortable saying a result isn't good enough yet
Bring high agency, pick up new domains quickly, and hold strong opinions loosely
Communicate clearly with researchers, engineers, and external partners, and care about the societal impacts of your work
Strong candidates may also have
An advanced degree or research experience in a physical science or engineering field
Hands-on experience with scientific computing and simulation, numerical methods, or optimization
Experience in industrial R&D, a national lab, or a deep-tech company in areas like energy, materials, manufacturing, or hardware
Experience building alongside customers or technical partners, for example in forward-deployed, applied AI, or solutions engineering roles, ideally where you also owned the software that came out of it
Experience with ML research, RL environments, or evaluation design
Candidates need not have
100% of the skills listed above
Formal certifications or education credentials
Expertise in every scientific domain we work in
Direct machine learning or AI research experience

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Security Engineer with deep incident response experience to help defend Replit, a fast-moving, cloud-native AI vibe-coding platform. You'll be the person who takes charge when something goes wrong. You'll lead investigations from first signal to root cause, coordinate containment across Security, SRE, and Engineering, and keep stakeholders informed while the incident is moving fast.
This isn't a pure responder role. We want a well-rounded security engineer who has run real incidents and wants to make the next one faster. You'll write the scripts, automations, and tooling that take manual work out of triage, evidence collection, and containment. You'll also turn lessons from each incident into better detections, playbooks, and platform hardening.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Incident Response
- Serve as incident commander or technical lead for security incidents, from detection and triage through containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident review.
- Coordinate response across Security, SRE, Engineering, Legal, and leadership. Drive decisions under pressure and keep a clear record of actions taken.
- Communicate incident status, impact, and risk clearly to technical and executive audiences.
- Participate in and help shape the security on-call rotation.
Investigation & Forensics
- Investigate suspicious activity across cloud infrastructure, containers, identity systems, and application layers using SIEM, Cloud Logging, telemetry, and host and container artifacts.
- Determine scope, root cause, attacker behavior, and blast radius for confirmed incidents.
- Quickly assess whether emerging threats (0-days, active exploitation campaigns, bug bounty findings, customer reports) apply to Replit, and whether we're already affected.
IR Automation & Tooling
- Build scripts, automations, and tools (Python, Go, Bash, or directly on Replit) that speed up response, such as automated enrichment, evidence collection, credential and session revocation, workload isolation, and alert triage.
- Develop and maintain response playbooks and runbooks, and automate them where possible.
- Integrate response workflows with SIEM, SOAR, ticketing, and chat tooling to cut time-to-contain.
Detection & Continuous Improvement
- Turn incident findings into new or improved detections, logging coverage, and visibility.
- Lead blameless post-incident reviews and drive remediation items to completion.
- Run tabletop exercises and simulations to test readiness and find gaps.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience leading or serving as technical lead on security incidents in a cloud or SaaS environment.
- Strong hands-on investigation skills with SIEM, cloud audit logs, and log-based analysis. Comfortable working through large datasets under time pressure.
- Proficiency writing production-quality scripts or tools in Python, Go, or Bash for investigation and automation.
- Solid knowledge of cloud architecture and security, especially Google Cloud Platform (IAM, audit logging, GKE, networking).
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containers, including how to investigate and contain compromised workloads.
- Understanding of identity systems, SaaS architectures, and common cloud attack paths (credential theft, privilege escalation, supply chain, token abuse).
- Familiarity with software engineering fundamentals, CI/CD pipelines, and package ecosystems, so you can work effectively with Engineering on code-level fixes.
- Understanding of IR frameworks and lifecycle (for example NIST 800-61), plus the vulnerability lifecycle and exploitability analysis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience building or operating SOAR or other response automation platforms.
- Digital forensics experience with cloud, Linux hosts, or containers.
- Experience with threat intelligence, threat hunting, or security research.
- Experience with bug bounty programs or coordinated vulnerability disclosure.
- Familiarity with detection-as-code practices and writing detection rules.
- Experience in fast-paced, cloud-native, or AI/ML-driven environments.
- Relevant certifications (such as GCIH, GCFA, GCFR), or equivalent hands-on experience.
WHAT WE VALUE
- Curiosity & initiative: Strong desire to understand attacker behaviors, emerging threats, and how they apply to real-world systems.
- Speed & analytical rigor: Ability to quickly assess high-risk vulnerabilities with clear, evidence-based reasoning.
- Collaboration: Comfort working across cross-functional teams spanning Security, SRE, Engineering, and Infrastructure.
- Clear communication: Ability to explain findings, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ownership mindset: Takes initiative to drive investigations, improvements, and remediations to completion.
- Continuous learning: Passion for staying up to date on new vulnerabilities, exploit trends, and cloud-native security best practices.

Peec AI is the analytics platform for AI search. People increasingly discover products and make buying decisions through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews instead of traditional search, and most brands have no idea where they show up in those answers. Peec gives marketing, SEO, and growth teams the data to see exactly that: how visible their brand is across AI platforms, how they compare to competitors, and where to win.
We are defining this category, and the market is moving with us. Peec is a Series A company backed by 20VC and Singular, that went from $0 to $15M ARR in 18 months, with a 100+ person team across our Berlin HQ and our New York office.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an AI Search Strategist to help our customers succeed in the new era of AI-driven search. In this role, you’ll work closely with leading brands and agencies, onboarding new clients and advising them on how to improve their visibility across search engines, AI assistants, and emerging generative surfaces. You’ll combine deep SEO expertise with a consultative approach, analyzing websites and search performance, running strategic advisory sessions, and translating business goals into actionable organic growth strategies. Working closely with Sales, Growth, and Product, you’ll also help shape how we enable customers and define best practices for succeeding in AI-powered search.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Onboard and activate new key clients, and educate them on how to best leverage Peec AI to become top-ranked in AI search
- Review websites, content, and search performance of key clients to identify AI-search-related opportunities across platforms (search, AI assistants, and emerging generative surfaces)
- Run advisory sessions with leading brands and agencies, turning their growth and brand goals into actionable GEO strategies and roadmaps
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Growth, and Product to refine activation journeys, case studies, and customer enablement programs
- Consult our mid-sized and enterprise clients on GEO-related topics, from overall strategy to hands-on operational execution
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 3–5 years of hands-on SEO or organic growth experience, ideally at a top-tier SEO agency
- Deep understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, search intent, and how organic performance translates into business outcomes
- Strong consulting skills: you’re used to advising clients, presenting strategic recommendations, and constructively challenging their thinking
- Ability to explain SEO concepts in simple, actionable language for marketing and brand teams
- Excitement about the shift from “10 blue links” to generative search, and motivation to be at the frontier of that change
- Confident verbal and written communication skills in English for high-quality client calls, workshops, and written recommendations
BONUS POINTS
- Experience building frameworks: SEO playbooks, content strategies, or measurement models for clients
- Initial experience with AI search
- Background working with enterprise and other high-touch clients
- Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed SaaS or marketing tech environment
- Confident verbal and written communication skills in German for high-quality client calls, workshops, and written recommendations
WHAT WE OFFER
- Exciting and challenging work with real impact and ownership at one of Europe’s fastest-growing Series A startups
- Regular team events and offsites
- Competitive salary and meaningful equity: everyone at Peec owns a piece of the upside
- Paid Meal and Uber rides home when working late

An overview of this role
This is an overnight shift role with working hours of 12:00am - 7:00am EST.
As a Support Engineer on our U.S. Government Support Engineering team, you operate at the critical intersection of Support and Engineering, enabling public sector organizations and United States government agencies to run GitLab in some of the most secure and constrained environments in the world. Your work directly supports national security missions, including customers operating within FedRAMP-authorized, air-gapped, and classified or semi-classified environments where traditional troubleshooting approaches are not always possible.
In this role, you will engage deeply with GitLab through the command line; analyzing logs, system behavior, and application performance with strong Linux fundamentals and an understanding of how GitLab’s components interact end-to-end. You may partner with Product and Engineering to reproduce and document edge-case defects using sanitized or redacted data, or contribute directly to the product by opening merge requests that resolve customer-impacting issues. Beyond resolving individual cases, you’ll help strengthen GitLab by improving documentation, support workflows, and institutional knowledge, ensuring that lessons learned in highly regulated environments benefit the broader platform; all while working in a fully remote, highly collaborative environment built on trust, autonomy, and shared ownership.
Some examples of our projects:
A tool to quickly analyze strace output
A solution to capture the state of a customer’s server for easier troubleshooting
A functionality to ChatOps to make it easier to identify user accounts on GitLab.com
What you’ll do
Collaborate closely with public sector customers, including U.S. government agencies, the Department of War, and Intelligence Community organizations, to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in GitLab deployments operating under strict security, compliance, and operational constraints.
Perform deep, hands-on technical investigations using Linux command-line tooling and GitLab internals to analyze logs, system performance, and application behavior, often with limited telemetry or incomplete datasets. You will trace issues across infrastructure, application, and code paths to identify root causes, recommend mitigations, and drive durable fixes; frequently partnering with GitLab Product, Development, and Infrastructure teams to ensure outcomes that meet both mission and platform reliability requirements.
Create and update clear, reusable documentation and support content based on real customer interactions to improve self-service and reduce repeated issues.
Participate in regular
pairing sessions
with other Support Engineers and act as a
stable counterpart
to cross-functional teams to share knowledge and improve support processes.
Contribute to building and refining internal support tools and workflows, including automation and troubleshooting utilities, to make diagnosing and resolving issues more efficient.
Participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotations, providing timely emergency support for self-managed customers operating in restricted and compliance-focused environments.
Support the growth of the team by reviewing applications and assessments, and participating in interviews and hiring decision discussions.
What you’ll bring
Due to government security requirements, you must be a United States Citizen (defined as any individual who is a citizen of the United States by law, birth, or naturalization) to be eligible for this position
Experience managing customer-facing cases across the full support lifecycle, from initial inquiry and triage through reproduction, escalation, and resolution
Strong Linux systems administration knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot performance and configuration issues in complex environments
Familiarity with AI/LLM-powered developer tooling and gateway architectures (for example GitLab Duo, AI gateway configurations, or similar model-serving/proxy layers), including how they're deployed and troubleshot in self-managed or air-gapped environments
Ability to use scripting languages (preferably Ruby or Bash) and work within model-view-controller frameworks (preferably Ruby on Rails) to investigate and resolve issues
Practical experience with Git and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows
Skill in creating and maintaining clear, accurate support content and technical documentation
Ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear, empathetic way to customers and coworkers with varying technical backgrounds
Familiarity with DevOps practices and container-orchestration technologies such as OpenShift and Kubernetes
Understanding of common information security and compliance concepts and controls (for example DISA STIG and SELinux), and eligibility to work on United States federal customer environments as required for this role
About the team
At GitLab Federal, LLC, the U.S. Government Support Engineering team partners with public sector organizations and United States government agencies to support GitLab in highly secure, mission-critical environments. Our work directly enables national security outcomes, supporting customers across the Intelligence Community, Department of War, and other federal, state, and local government entities operating within regulated and restricted boundaries.
We are embedded within Support Engineering and work closely with Product, Development, Infrastructure, Customer Success, and Sales to solve complex, high-impact technical challenges. Our team frequently dives into code, logs, and architectural behavior to understand not just what is failing, but why; especially in environments with sanitized data, limited visibility, and strict compliance controls such as FedRAMP. We collaborate asynchronously across time zones and through structured pairing and discussion to share knowledge, strengthen solutions, and continuously improve how GitLab supports secure, air-gapped, and regulated deployments, while upholding GitLab's standards for rigor, transparency, and technical excellence.

Anthropic is seeking a member to join Financial Reporting team within Accounting. In this role, you will own some of the most important pieces of our external reporting: the consolidated statement of cash flows, subsidiary and other compliance-related reporting, and the peer benchmarking that keeps our disclosures clear and comparable.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who wants to shape how a financial reporting function works, not just run it. Our team builds with Claude every day, and you will help design the workflows and automation that make our reporting faster, more accurate, and more scalable. You will partner closely with Technical Accounting, Controllership, Tax, Legal, FP&A, Corporate Development, and our external auditors.
If you enjoy owning complex reporting end to end, have strong judgment on disclosure, and are excited to reinvent how financial reporting gets done with AI, we would love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities
Own the consolidated statement of cash flows end to end, including preparation, supporting schedules, classification analysis, non-cash disclosures, and review with our external auditors
Lead subsidiary and other compliance-related reporting, such as entity-level and special-purpose financial statements, lender and covenant reporting, and other regulatory or contractual reporting requirements
Lead the adoption of new accounting standards: impact assessment, data and system changes, disclosure drafting, controls, and review with our external auditors
Lead stock-based compensation reporting, including the expense and award-activity roll-forwards
Contribute to the preparation and review of periodic SEC filings (Forms 10-Q and 10-K) and related disclosures
Contribute to peer disclosure benchmarking, including frequent and proactive review of peer disclosures and assessment of Anthropic's disclosures in comparison to peers
Partner with valuation specialists, Technical Accounting, Tax, and Corporate Development on purchase accounting and post-close reporting for acquired entities
Identify opportunities to leverage Claude and automation tools to improve reporting processes, with a hands-on willingness to test and adopt new technologies as they emerge
Build and maintain Claude-powered reporting workflows (e.g., roll-forwards, tie-outs, disclosure drafting, benchmarking) and document them so the broader team can use and extend them
Design and maintain the process documentation and controls that support your areas, and serve as a primary point of contact for auditors on them
Minimum qualifications
Hands-on ownership of a statement of cash flows, including preparation, classification under ASC 230, and support for audit review
Experience with subsidiary, statutory, or other compliance-related reporting (e.g., entity-level financial statements, lender or covenant reporting, regulatory filings)
Experience using Claude or similar AI tools to build new financial reporting workflows or automation
Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, including Regulation S-X and S-K
Clear, concise written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain complex accounting topics to non-accounting partners
Sound judgment and comfort owning ambiguous work, setting priorities, and meeting filing deadlines with minimal oversight
Passion for Anthropic's mission to build safe, transformative AI systems
Preferred qualifications
12+ years of experience in financial reporting, SEC reporting, or public accounting, including time at a public company or one preparing to go public
Have built or run a peer disclosure benchmarking program, including use of EDGAR full-text search or XBRL data
Have built reusable Claude or similar AI skills, agents, or processes
Experience with international statutory reporting or consolidation of special-purpose entities
CPA or equivalent certification
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$230,000
—
$300,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

directly for confirmed position openings.

About the job
Keet is a fully peer-to-peer messaging and video calling app built on Holepunch's P2P stack. There are no servers, no middlemen, and no data harvesting. People talk directly to each other, with end-to-end encryption by design.
We are looking for a
Senior Technical Product Manager
to own the vision for Keet and lead it to a billion users, competing head-on with WhatsApp and Telegram. This is not a maintenance role. You will define where Keet goes, convince the board and the team that it is the right direction, and then drive the execution that gets it there.
You are a rare combination of three things. You are a product visionary who has shipped consumer chat or calling apps at scale. You are a technologist who can go deep on P2P architecture and the Pear / Holepunch stack (docs.pears.com). And you are a hands-on builder who uses AI tools to prototype and prove concepts in days, not months. You set the bar high, move at incredible speed, and lead from the front.
You will also be the person who catches what others miss. The PM who thrives here reads every ticket, tracks every dependency, asks the uncomfortable question before it becomes a launch incident, and keeps five workstreams moving simultaneously without losing the thread on any of them.
If you prefer a PM role where you set strategy and delegate execution, this is not the right fit. If you want to build something that ships to real users, moves markets, and carries your fingerprints from concept to production, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Vision & Strategy
Own and articulate the long-term product vision for Keet as the world's leading private, peer-to-peer communication app, with a clear path to 1 billion users.
Analyze WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, LINE, WeChat and emerging competitors to identify where P2P gives Keet an unfair advantage, and build the roadmap around it.
Present product vision, strategy, metrics and progress to the board and executive leadership with clarity and conviction.
Define a growth strategy across acquisition, activation, retention and virality, with measurable targets at every stage.
Technical Product Leadership
Develop a deep working understanding of the Holepunch P2P stack (Pear runtime, Bare, Hypercore, Hyperswarm, HyperDHT, Autobase, Hyperbee) and translate its capabilities and constraints into product decisions.
Partner with core engineering on hard P2P problems at scale, including NAT traversal, offline sync, multi-device support, large groups, push notifications, and battery and data efficiency on mobile.
Own the real-time calling experience (1:1 and group voice and video, plus screen sharing) to a quality bar that matches or beats Google Meet and Zoom.
Define clear feature tiers with explicit labels for stable versus experimental functionality.
Rapid Prototyping with AI
Use AI coding and design tools to build working prototypes and demos that prove concepts before committing engineering resources.
Turn ideas into something the team, users and the board can see and touch within days.
Execution & Team Leadership
Lead the product team and run the sprint cadence end to end, covering planning, prioritization, standups, reviews and retrospectives.
Own deliverables from conception through release, testing and post-launch iteration, ensuring core functionality works reliably every time.
Maintain issue trackers and roadmaps that accurately reflect priorities and sprint commitments.
Coordinate across engineering, QA, design, marketing and business stakeholders, and manage cross-team dependencies across the Holepunch and Tether ecosystem.
Provide transparent updates on status, risks and timeline changes, and hold direct conversations about accountability when needed.
Mobile & Distribution
Own the mobile release process across iOS and Android. This includes App Store and Google Play submissions, review guidelines, compliance, store listings, ratings and release management.
Oversee desktop distribution and installers across macOS, Windows and Linux.
Build crash reporting, debugging and analytics systems, privacy-preserving by design, that turn user reports into actionable engineering data.
Mandatory:
8+ years of product management experience, including significant time in a senior or lead role owning a consumer product end to end.
Strong product sense, with a proven track record of setting product vision and driving it to measurable outcomes at scale (tens of millions of users or more).
Experience leading engineers who ship products, including running sprint cadences with predictable delivery across cross-functional teams.
Deep JavaScript and React skills. You can read and write production code, review pull requests, and build working prototypes yourself.
Intuition for distributed and local-first systems. You don't need P2P expertise, because our core abstracts it away, but you should be able to reason about sync, offline behavior and consistency trade-offs.
Hands-on experience shipping and scaling mobile apps on iOS and Android, with deep familiarity with App Store and Google Play logistics, review processes and release management.
Experience with real-time voice and video calling products (such as Google Meet, Zoom, FaceTime or WhatsApp calls) and the quality, latency and reliability trade-offs involved.
Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to rapidly prototype and demonstrate product concepts.
Exceptional communication skills, with experience presenting vision and strategy to boards, executives and investors.
A strong understanding of urgency versus importance, and the judgment to make fast, high-quality decisions with incomplete information.
You thrive in a high-intensity, fast-moving environment, set an exceptionally high bar, and are willing to go above and beyond, including extended hours, when the mission demands it.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Nice to have:
Product leadership experience at a major messaging app such as WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, WeChat, Signal, Viber or KakaoTalk.
Experience with peer-to-peer technologies, distributed systems or decentralized protocols. Prior exposure to Holepunch, Pear or Hypercore is a strong plus.
Experience growing a product in emerging markets or across multiple regions and languages.
A background in privacy, encryption or security-focused products.
Familiarity with Electron, React Native or similar cross-platform frameworks, as well as installer systems, boot performance and Linux packaging (Snap, AppImage, Flatpak).
A solid understanding of testing approaches (unit, integration, end-to-end), test automation and performance testing.
An engineering background or computer science degree.
Experience with Git, issue trackers and modern collaboration tools.
Why this role:
The next billion-user communication app will not run on someone else's servers. If you want to be the person who defines it, presents it to the board, prototypes it yourself, and then leads the team that ships it, we want to hear from you.
In your application, include a link to a product you have shipped or a prototype you have built, along with a few sentences on how you would take Keet to 1 billion users.
