1Password is growing. We’ve surpassed $500M in ARR and we’re continuing to accelerate, earning a spot on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four years in a row and teaming up with iconic partners like Oracle Red Bull Racing.
About 1Password
At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human-centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work.
If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
Enterprise Systems at 1Password owns the tools and systems the company runs on. We centrally select, administer, integrate, and govern Enterprise Tools so that they work together as an interconnected ecosystem that shapes how 1Password operates. The team is charting new territory: centralizing ownership of company tools, building cross-functional integrations, and enabling the company to adopt new technologies, including AI, responsibly and strategically.
The Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer is a key technical contributor on this team. You'll own the lifecycle and roadmap for a portfolio of Tier 1 enterprise tools, work closely with the team's Staff Engineer, and partner with Security, Finance, Legal, and business teams. You'll also bring practical AI and automation skills to your work. If you enjoy building scalable systems, solving workflow problems with automation, and raising the bar for those around you, we want to hear from you.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within the US or Canada.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of IT or enterprise systems experience, with a track record of building and supporting enterprise systems at scale.
- Hands-on expertise administering, integrating, and optimizing core enterprise platforms such as Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, Notion, Jira, Asana, or similar.
- Experience with identity and access management concepts, including SSO, SCIM provisioning, and access reviews (Okta preferred).
- Experience with workflow automation and integration tools such as Tines, Okta Workflows, Workato, or APIs and low-code/no-code platforms.
- Practical experience with AI-enabled productivity tools or platforms (e.g., ChatGPT Enterprise, Dust, Claude, Glean), with an understanding of secure and responsible AI adoption.
- Ability to build and communicate a strategic roadmap for a tool or portfolio, and to translate business workflow challenges into effective technical solutions.
- Familiarity with software licensing, procurement, and vendor management (a plus).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a rapidly scaling organization.
- A desire to mentor others and contribute to a positive team culture.
Success in this role looks like:
- Your assigned tools are configured, maintained, and operating reliably, meeting team standards for uptime, security posture, and employee adoption.
- Each tool you own has a documented roadmap aligned with company needs and vendor direction.
- Licenses, renewals, and provisioning are managed efficiently, with clear ownership and no grey zones between IT and the business.
- Integrations and configurations are documented and follow consistent standards.
- AI features and automations in your area are rolled out securely and adopted, with measurable reductions in manual effort.
- Partners across IT, Security, Finance, Legal, and the business see you as a trusted, responsive point of contact.
What you can expect:
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of an assigned portfolio of Tier 1 tools (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, Notion, Jira, Asana, Freshservice), including administration, configuration, support, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for your tools, balancing near-term priorities with long-term direction and staying current on vendor roadmaps. Contribute to the team's overall roadmap.
- Manage SSO and SCIM provisioning through Okta, and support access controls, access reviews, and application onboarding and offboarding.
- Implement and maintain configuration standards and governance (e.g., feature enablement, retention policies, compliance guardrails), balancing enterprise-wide consistency with business unit needs.
- Support license management, cost projections, renewals, and vendor relationships, partnering with Finance, Legal, and Procurement.
- Assess new application requests against the team's tiering criteria (adoption scope, security sensitivity, integration complexity, and contract value), and confirm responsibilities with business teams before onboarding or procurement proceeds.
- Design, build, and maintain integrations between enterprise applications using APIs, Tines, Okta Workflows, and other tooling.
- Configure and operate AI features and platforms (e.g., OpenAI Enterprise, Dust, and AI capabilities within Slack, Notion, and Google Workspace), ensuring secure, responsible, and well-supported usage.
- Build and maintain AI-powered workflows and automations that reduce manual effort and streamline operations across teams.
- Contribute technical analysis and recommendations when evaluating new tools and AI capabilities, covering security, privacy, compliance, and fit.
- Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for tool configurations, integrations, and AI and automation usage.
- Provide technical guidance to help employees adopt centralized tools and AI capabilities, in coordination with the AI Working Group and Enterprise L&D.
- Mentor teammates and share knowledge to help build a collaborative, focused, and impactful team.

How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. 🌍 FOR THIS ROLE, YOU NEED TO BE BASED IN FRANCE, BELGIUM OR SPAIN 🌍
The Operations Expert works on a specific subset of services we deliver (eg. claim reimbursement, fraud, clinic to name a few) .
Their core responsibilities (+- 70/80% of the time) are to:
- Run our Insurance or Health services processes - that's why we call them Ops Runners internally 😉
- Ensure the day-to-day follow up and monitoring of our operations
- Flag risks and opportunities
In details, your missions are:
- Operating our processes: performing tasks like invoicing or claims treatment, growing and managing our network of providers, supporting internal teams (live and through documentation)
- Contributing to the definition & owning the best monitoring scheme to track volumes/efficiency/SLAs, and identify risks and areas of improvement, internally or with our service providers
- Supervising partnerships (e.g. teleconsultation, claim operators), participating in the negotiation rounds, daily communication to ensure business continuity
- Performing controls on our daily operations to make sure the correct decisions were made and to identify training needs (internally as well as externally)
- Escalating feedback, helping to prioritise and supporting initiatives to make our processes and services more delightful and efficient
Next to running and monitoring our operations, you implement continuous improvements to our processes (+-20/30% of the time). This can be in a variety of ways, e.g. working with product teams to automate certain processes, enhancing our external communication, auditing our processes, automating some process steps using automation tools, …
⭐️ OUR RUN ORGANISATION ⭐️
Our Operations Experts are organized in pools (3-7 runners) who are collectively responsible for running their scope. Examples of topics are:
Alan therapy: members can book a therapy session with psychologists. You maintain smooth relationships with our psychologists, ensure therapy demand matches the supply and contribute to several steps of their lifecycle at Alan (hiring, onboarding, invoicing, supporting booking management etc).
Claims: We provide a best-in-class claims experience, including our own optic care service. You treat claims and assist in decisions regarding our coverage. Additionally, you monitor the performance of external service providers to meet SLAs & perform quality controls. You ensure glasses get delivered on time, member satisfaction is high, our frame collection is attractive, collaboration with opticians is smooth and efficient, ….
Fraud: We run checks on claims submitted by our members, and build new ways of preventing fraud attempts. You investigate suspicious claims, prevent fraudulent payments or recover when we paid fraudulent claims.
Set up: We provide best-in-class experience to our Customers : a smooth on/offboarding of their employees and a seamless invoicing or billing. To do so, we continuously control & improve the quality of our processes : ensuring we have consistent information for invoicing, unlocking employee invite/removals in case of issue and supporting admin in case of payment issue or bankruptcy.
Note: We look for profiles able to embrace any challenge and jump in any pool ! Depending on Alan needs (and personal interests), an Operations Expert will join in a pool and can change and explore new scopes after some time. Do not hesitate to ask more concrete examples to the Operations Team Members you’ll meet during the process so they can share about their own scope.
⭐️ EXPERIENCE ⭐️
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the A2-B1 level range https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity.
Since the scope of our Ops Expert role is extremely varied, we are open to candidates from different backgrounds : you could be a good fit for the Operations team at Alan if, for example, you:
- Operated processes and services especially for companies during the scale up stage or in industrial/logistic industries
- Worked in Support functions (Customer Support, People Operations etc)
- Had a Customer facing Commercial experience, e.g. account manager or Customer Success Communications, such as Social Media, Internal/ External Communications
- Handled event coordination
⭐️ SKILLS ⭐️

- Analytics skills, to be able to dive into our data
- Highly organised with exceptional follow-up skills, with strong attention to details

- Able to work and learn independently in a fast-paced environment

About the role:
You'll own the NPV and unit economics model behind Salmon's credit card business — the core logic behind how we price, size, and monitor profitability across the portfolio.
What you'll do:
- Work directly with the Head of Economics to turn model logic into production-ready Python/SQL code

- Validate model outputs against actual portfolio performance and investigate gaps when they don't match
- Translate model logic into clear, implementation-ready specs when other teams need to build on it
- Step outside your immediate scope when the work calls for it — we value ownership over rigid roles
What makes you a strong fit:
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics
- Strong Python (pandas) and SQL — for data exploration and for implementing analytics logic in production
- Solid understanding of unit economics / financial modeling — cashflows, NPV, cohorts — through direct modeling experience or hands-on work with such models

What we offer:
Ownership and flexibility
- Stock option plan — four-year vesting with a 25% cliff after the first year
- Hybrid-first work environment
- Company-provided tools and equipment
- Office in Bonifacio Global City, Manila — a modern, walkable district at the centre of the Philippines' growing tech scene

Device Infrastructure Services owns the full lifecycle of hardware and operating systems across 1Password. The team is looking for the Staff Engineer who will lead its next chapter: a deliberate shift from legacy device management patterns towards devops and AI-enabled operations.
You'll be the technical leader of this team, responsible for setting the roadmap for this transformation and making sure it gets executed. This isn't a role where you hand off a roadmap and step back: you'll be in the build alongside the team, coaching engineers and raising the ceiling on what they're capable of. If you're excited by building scalable systems, shaping the strategy behind tools the whole company depends on, and bringing out the best work in the people around you, we want to hear from you.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
- 7+ years of IT and enterprise endpoint management experience, including 2+ years at a senior or staff IC level, with a track record of building and managing endpoints with Gitops practices.
- Demonstrate broad knowledge of enterprise endpoint management, deep operating system-level experience, and the ability to recognize patterns across a fleet and build fixes that prevent recurrence.
- Practical experience using AI tools to enable or accelerate IT operations and the judgment to know where AI speeds things up versus where it introduces risk.
- Proven ability to define and drive technical roadmaps, seeing around corners and balancing long-term vision with near-term execution.
- Strong scripting and IaC ability (Bash, Python, and Terraform at minimum) — both writing production-quality automation yourself and reviewing others' code with a critical eye.
- Deep working knowledge of enterprise security fundamentals as they apply to endpoints: encryption, patch/vulnerability management, EDR, least-privilege enforcement, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar).
- Lead through change, collaborate effectively, and mentor engineers while maintaining a focused and impactful team environment.
What you can expect:
- Own the technical direction of our Device Infrastructure Services, the tooling and standards that keep ~2,000 endpoints compliant, configured, and secure.
- Drive the technical direction of a DevOps operating model for the fleet — config-as-code, version control, code review, and CI/CD pipelines in place of manual console changes — and drive adoption of that model across the IT team.
- Lead the adoption of responsible agentic AI across the device team, building the guardrails that decide what agents can act on autonomously and what still needs a human checkpoint.
- Act as the final escalation point for high-severity endpoint incidents, including deep machine-level diagnosis on both macOS and Windows hardware.
- Partner across IT, Security, and product teams building custom solutions and helping push their initiatives across the finish line.
- Assess and pilot new tooling (e.g., MDM platform migrations, patch management systems) and drive build-vs-buy decisions.
- Collaborate with product teams to advise on features from the perspective of a real-world enterprise device deployment, and lead Customer Zero initiatives — piloting and stress-testing our own product against our internal fleet before it reaches customers.
What success looks like:
- Establishing a clear 12-month roadmap for the transition to a GitOps-based operating model.
- Building device health metrics and remediation standards for machine security, performance, and employee experience.
- Developing our AI-assisted operations strategy, with automation milestones that balance speed, human review, security and agentic workflows.
- Supporting the unpredictable release cadence of major OS vendors, and making sure those updates land safely across the org.
- Bringing the team along with you — at 1Password, we Put People First. This role isn't just about leveling up what we can do technically, it's also about coaching the team along the way.
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $143,000 USD and $207,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $122,000 CAD and $177,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.
Our approach to remote work
We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of almost all roles, and we require our employees to be ready and willing to take part. Frequency will depend on role and responsibilities, and may include, but is not limited to: annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and customer/industry events.
What we offer
We believe in working hard, and rewarding that hard work through our benefits. While not an exhaustive list, here is a glance at what we currently offer:
Health and wellbeing

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Platform Security Engineer to join our team and help strengthen the security of Supabase’s infrastructure, cloud platform, Kubernetes environments, and containerized workloads as we continue to scale. You’ll work closely with infrastructure, platform, SRE, product engineering, and technical leadership, helping us proactively reduce risk across the systems that run Supabase.
This role is ideal for someone who has deep hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, containers, Linux, and large cloud environments and is excited about securing developer infrastructure without slowing teams down. Success in this role means improving the security posture of the platform through pragmatic engineering, clear technical judgment, and scalable guardrails.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
In this role, you’ll:
- Identify and reduce security risk across AWS, Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and platform infrastructure.
- Conduct threat modeling, architecture reviews, and technical risk assessments for platform and infrastructure systems.
- Partner closely with infrastructure, platform, and SRE teams to design practical controls and secure-by-default patterns.
- Improve Kubernetes and container security across areas like workload isolation, RBAC, admission control, secrets, network policy, and runtime hardening.
- Assess container runtime and Linux isolation risks, including capabilities, seccomp/AppArmor, namespaces, cgroups, and container escape scenarios.
- Strengthen AWS security posture across IAM, account boundaries, network controls, logging, detection, encryption, and service configuration.
- Build scalable mechanisms such as automation, guardrails, paved paths, detection, secure defaults, and review frameworks.
- Distinguish between theoretical risk and material platform risk to prioritize security efforts effectively.
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
- Have senior-level experience in platform security, cloud security, infrastructure security, container security, or security engineering.
- Have deep practical experience with AWS, Kubernetes, containers, and Linux security fundamentals.
- Have worked in large cloud environments, multi-cluster Kubernetes setups, developer platforms, SaaS platforms, or high-scale infrastructure teams.
- Can reason clearly about identity, networking, workload isolation, runtime security, secrets, supply chain, and blast radius.
- Communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences, especially in a written, asynchronous environment.
- Are able to manage security efforts across complex projects with various stakeholders
- Are energized by solving real-world infrastructure security problems and navigating ambiguity while moving quickly.
- Prefer building guardrails, automation, and secure defaults over creating unnecessary process or bottlenecks.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.
- ESOP
Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together.
- Tech Allowance
Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work.
- Health Benefits
Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us.
- Annual Off-Sites
Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year.
- Flexible Work
We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when.
- Professional Development
Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. We believe our globally distributed team is our secret weapon in building tools developers love.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an AI Solutions Strategist, you will sit at the intersection of customers, AI delivery, and Ramp’s core product teams. You will partner with enterprise/strategic customers to deeply understand their finance workflows—especially corporate finance and controllership priorities like close, controls, and spend governance—identify high-impact opportunities for AI and automation, and translate those needs into clear problem statements, solution designs, and actionable feedback for Ramp’s Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams.
This role is for someone who can listen carefully, structure ambiguity, and turn on-the-ground learnings into scalable solutions. This role required high proactivity and bias to action.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Discover and diagnose customer needs. Run stakeholder interviews and workflow deep dives with Finance, Procurement, AP, and IT teams. Map end-to-end processes and identify the underlying drivers behind pain points — risk, cost, cycle time, compliance, exception volume, and operational complexity.
- Translate needs into solution requirements. Turn qualitative input into crisp artifacts: problem statements, success metrics, constraints, acceptance criteria, and deployment plans. Balance speed, safety, and scalability across MVPs, iterations, and broader rollouts.
- Partner with technical teams to implement AI workflows. Work closely with Ramp engineers and AI builders to design and ship solutions that meet real customer workflows. Specify data inputs, integrations, governance needs, policy rules, auditability requirements, and edge cases.
- Drive feedback loops into Ramp's product. Synthesize learnings across customers into reusable patterns and product opportunities. Write high-signal briefs for Product and Engineering that explain what customers need, why it matters, and what should be built next.
- Communicate impact and guide executives. Present status, outcomes, and recommendations to customer operators, executives, and internal stakeholders. Quantify impact through time saved, error reduction, improved compliance, faster close, and other business outcomes.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Strong customer empathy and the ability to earn trust quickly with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent problem framing: you can turn messy workflows into clear systems and priorities.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and iterating quickly while keeping quality high.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing (briefs, requirements, postmortems) and verbally (workshops, exec readouts).
- A builder mindset: you like shipping, learning, and improving the system.
- Experience in solutions, implementation, product strategy, consulting, or technical program management.
- Strong grounding in corporate finance / controllership workflows, including accounting close, spend governance/controls, budgeting, procurement, and AP operations.
- Experience translating finance requirements into system design and configuration (e.g., ERP/accounting, procurement, expense management, payments), including integrations, data mapping, and controls.
- Ability to partner with finance system owners/admins to drive change management, testing (UAT), and successful rollouts.
- Familiarity with finance operations workflows (AP, procurement, expenses, cards, accounting close).
- Exposure to AI-enabled products, automation, or applied ML (you do not need to be an ML engineer).
- Basic comfort with data concepts and systems integration (APIs, ETL, SQL, spreadsheets, data quality).
WORKING STYLE
We collaborate best when we’re close to the work and close to each other. This role is hybrid in New York, with time in-office to partner tightly with product and engineering teams. Importantly, this role required spending time with customers to understand real workflows, so travel and flexibility are critical to success.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will build and run the operating systems that help Juno ship reliably and support customers as we scale. On the product operations side, you will turn product decisions into clear operating plans, maintain visibility in Linear, coordinate customer testing and launch readiness, keep commitments and risks visible, and make sure product changes are communicated clearly.
You will partner closely with product and engineering to make decisions executable, keep work organized, surface gaps and dependencies, and ensure the team follows through on what it has committed to ship.
On the customer support side, you will be the first line of defense when customers encounter product issues. You will triage and investigate problems, coordinate the right response, and redirect travel-service questions to our travel partners. Because you sit close to both the product process and the customer, you will turn recurring friction into clear insights, accountable follow-up, and better operating systems.
Success means Juno ships through a lightweight and dependable process, customers understand what changed, risks and commitments do not get lost, recurring issues reach the right owners, and support demand does not grow one-for-one with the business.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Provide holistic support through the entire launch lifecycle across program management, customer testing, launch readiness, change management, customer communication, and post-launch iteration. Own and improve Juno's shipping process so the right reviews, testing, documentation, internal enablement, and customer updates happen at the right time.
- Maintain Linear as a reliable operating system for projects, owners, milestones, dependencies, status, and product decisions. Surface risks early and follow through until they are resolved.
- Serve as the first line of defense for product-related customer issues across email and chat, join customer calls when needed, manage escalations to resolution, and route travel-service questions to the right partner.
- Be the voice of the customer in product decisions. Analyze support trends and customer feedback, diagnose recurring friction, size the problems you find, and translate messy input into clear findings, recommended actions, prioritization input, and accountable follow-up for product and engineering.
- Build AI-powered workflows, automations, knowledge systems, and self-service experiences that improve the quality and speed of product operations and customer support.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 3+ years of experience in product operations, program management, customer experience, technical support, consulting, or another customer-facing analytical role in a fast-moving software company.
- You are highly process-oriented. You can turn ambiguous cross-functional work into clear owners, milestones, decisions, and next steps without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
- You actively use AI to get real work done and can show us what you have automated, analyzed, or built.
- You can use qualitative feedback and data to identify patterns, diagnose root causes, size problems, and measure whether a product or operational fix reduced customer friction.
- You write with precision and empathy. You can explain a complicated product change or technical issue clearly, without jargon or filler.
- You run toward ownership, move quickly without losing the details, and can drive clarity across product, engineering, customer success, customers, and external partners.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, debugging, or data analysis, even if you do not write production code.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, travel, fintech, or another operationally complex product.

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
We're an agile, globally distributed talent acquisition team with the creativity, expertise and ambition to revolutionize talent attraction — built around productivity and a 6-star candidate experience. Our norms are direct, our decisions are fast, and we expect people to operate without scaffolding.
This role sits in the Talent team and runs as a Payward-wide shared service across Payward, NinjaTrader, Reap and future acquisitions. It reports to our Global Head of Talent Acquisition with a dotted line to our Chief People Officer.
Executive recruiting here is its own discipline — smaller rooms, higher stakes, the same directness and speed we expect everywhere else. Discretion is part of the craft: this hire will handle confidential searches, sensitive succession conversations and market intelligence that never leaves the room, and will be trusted to hold all of it. They'll work directly with our Board, C-Suite and broader Payward leadership team on a daily basis.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Own executive recruiting end to end across the Payward platform spanning C-level, Board, VP+ and bespoke Advisor mandates.
- Partner directly with the Co-CEOs and the executive team on the searches that matter most, absorbing their pace and operating as a trusted advisor.
- Run board and advisory mandates with the discretion they require. Confidentiality here is structural, not a preference.
- Define how executive hiring scales as a shared service across a growing, multi-brand platform.
- Own the external search partner strategy: managing relationships with key retained firms, and ensuring seamless partnership if and when they are engaged.
- Report to the Head of Talent and operate as a member of the talent leadership team, with a dotted line into the Chief People Officer.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 6+ years of executive recruiting experience, with demonstrable ownership of executive searches (VP, C-level, Board) from mandate through close.
- A selection mindset over a screening one. You calibrate candidates against business strategy and can defend a shortlist to a skeptical executive audience.
- Closing and negotiation strength at executive level: pre-closing, offer construction, equity and comp complexity.
- Experience partnering closely with Compensation & Benefits and the HR business partners to ensure full alignment throughout a search lifecycle.
- Business acumen to understand and pitch a complex platform business credibly. Executive candidates buy the thesis, not the job spec.
- Proven agency and retained-firm management — briefing, accountability and spend control.
- Exceptional written and verbal English at executive register.
- Discretion by default, with a track record of executive searches quietly.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, with responsiveness to candidates and executives across all time zones.
- Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, given the proximity this role requires to our executives and to board and advisory mandates.
NICE TO HAVES
- In-house executive recruiting experience at a fintech, brokerage, exchange or payments company.
- Background inside a retained executive search firm, in addition to in-house work.
- Experience building executive recruiting as a shared service across multiple entities, or across multiple portfolio companies
- Exposure to crypto or digital assets.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.
As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.
