ABOUT US

At Garner, you’ll take on real, ambitious problems with real ownership and autonomy, alongside exceptional, principles-based people who genuinely want you to win. It’s demanding by design. You’ll be challenged to stretch beyond what you thought possible and receive consistent coaching to help you grow and do the best work of your career. This isn't the right fit for everyone, and that's intentional. The people here are driven by what's at stake for real people, and that's what gives our intensity its purpose.

Our mission is to empower people to make smarter financial decisions by offering flexibility, transparency, and the freedom they need to reach their goals.
Simple finances, big goals.
About the Role
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to own the quality of key user scenarios across the stack. In this role, you will do more than write autotests — you will build a reliable automation system that covers everything from a customer action in the Flutter mobile app to data validation in APIs, message queues, and databases.
You will work closely with developers, analysts, DevOps, and other QA engineers to ensure delivery speed and reliability of financial services. We expect an engineer who sees risks in a microservices architecture and prevents them with well-designed automated coverage. The role is fully remote, with occasional business trips if required.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and evolve UI autotests for the Flutter mobile application (Android/iOS) using Python and Appium.
Design the automation framework architecture: implement and maintain Page Object patterns, business step layers, fixtures, and environment configurations.
Work with Flutter app locators: use Semantics labels and accessibility IDs, and align their implementation with mobile developers to improve test stability.
Ensure autotest suite stability: diagnose and eliminate flaky tests, manage waits, and configure test isolation.
Configure and maintain Allure reporting: steps, attachments such as screenshots, logs, and traffic, run history analysis, and linking autotests to test cases.
Integrate autotests into CI/CD using GitLab CI: run pipelines, set up parallel runs on emulators and real devices, and maintain acceptable execution time.
Analyze new functionality, participate in requirements review, and create test designs.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Test external and internal integrations, including SOAP/REST APIs, XML/JSON processing, authorization, contracts, and service interaction errors.
Analyze asynchronous processes: message queues and event buses such as Kafka and RabbitMQ, consumers, retries, idempotency, and delayed effects.
Identify cross-team dependencies during task definition and align them with related teams before development and testing begin.
Estimate testing and automation effort, maintain and expand the regression test suite.
Analyze run results, report risks, defects, and blockers in a timely manner, and prepare clear quality reporting.
Automate test data preparation: use SQL scripts, internal service APIs, emulation of external system states, and mocks.
Work confidently with databases: write medium-complexity SQL queries with joins and aggregations, validate data after user operations in MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL, and access databases from autotest code.
Investigate logs and metrics in monitoring systems such as Kibana, OpenSearch, and Grafana, and trace requests across services using correlation or trace IDs.
Diagnose autotest failures: identify root causes using device logs, traffic, and service logs, and file defects in the tracking system.
Key Requirements
2+ years of experience in mobile UI test automation.
5+ years of experience testing microservice-based applications.
2+ years of experience testing external integrations.
Strong Python skills: OOP, working with libraries, reading and refactoring code, writing utilities and helpers.
Hands-on experience with pytest: fixtures, parametrization, markers, conftest, and plugins.
Practical experience with Appium.
Experience automating Flutter applications or readiness to quickly learn Flutter-specific automation.
Knowledge of Git and experience integrating autotests into CI/CD.
Experience in functional testing of Android and iOS mobile applications.
Excellent knowledge of testing theory and test-design techniques.
Strong understanding of SOAP/REST API testing, XML/JSON, HTTP response codes, contract schemas, session-based and token-based authentication; experience automating API calls in Python using requests or similar libraries.
Confident SQL skills: ability to independently write medium-complexity queries, read database schemas, and validate data in MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
Understanding of asynchronous service communication: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar brokers, consumers, idempotency, retry mechanisms, and delayed event processing.
Experience with logging and monitoring systems such as Kibana, OpenSearch, Grafana, or similar tools.
Ability to independently prepare test data using SQL scripts, internal or service APIs, and emulation of external system states.
Fluent Russian and English at B1+ level, sufficient for technical documentation and an international team.
Experience developing in Dart or reading Flutter app code to understand widget structure and add Semantics keys.
Nice to Have
Experience with device farms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or local device farms, Appium Grid, and parallel execution on device pools.
Experience developing in Dart or reading Flutter app code to understand widget structure and add Semantics keys
Experience with Charles, Fiddler, Swagger, Postman, and SOAP UI, including proxying and mocking responses on devices.
Experience automating the API layer as a separate suite, as well as basic Postman automation and running collections via Newman.
Experience with visual testing and screenshot-based tests.
Experience in fintech or banking products: card processing, credit products, tariffs, fees, limits, card statuses, and card lifecycle management.
Experience testing BPMS processes and workflow engines such as Camunda.
Understanding of financial application security requirements: personal data handling, OTP flows, session management, and basic PCI DSS principles.
Experience setting up test infrastructure: Docker, running emulators in CI, and build caching.
Experience estimating testing tasks and working with QA quality metrics such as DDE, defect density, test coverage, autotest stability, and execution time.
What We Offer
Fully remote work format.
Official employment in accordance with the Russian Labor Code for residents of Russia; contractor collaboration for candidates from other countries.
Opportunity to work in an international team on an innovative digital credit product for the Mexican market.
A product-focused, data-driven environment where quality directly influences the financial experience of thousands of users.
The chance to work on complex mobile, backend, and integration scenarios in a rapidly growing fintech company.

MEET THE TEAM 👥
Here at Cleo, we have ~200 Engineers organised into Pillars. ✨ Our stack spans a Ruby on Rails monolith, a single React Native (TypeScript) app frontend, Python for machine learning services, and PostgreSQL, all hosted on AWS and shipped through Kubernetes - backend goes out multiple times a week, app releases to Google and Apple at least weekly. To thrive here, our engineers proactively use our Engineering Principles to guide daily decisions, take ownership of problems beyond their own squad to drive broader impact, and actively drive their own learning, development, and growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE ✍️

Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Partnering with senior peers to define architecture and lead complex, high-impact initiatives
- Bringing teams together to ship ambitious product work that improves users’ financial health
- Building shared systems, patterns, and tooling that raise the bar across engineering
- Staying hands-on in our Ruby on Rails monolith -- designing APIs, data models, and scalable services
- Anticipating risks and opportunities early, influencing plans and technical strategy
- Mentoring engineers and TLs, growing the next generation of technical leaders
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 🕵️
- You’re excited by the opportunity to own and influence technical direction at a pillar level
- You’ve operated at senior/staff level across multiple teams or complex domains
- You bring strong technical judgment and think in long-term, scalable solutions
- You’re comfortable leading without authority and aligning teams around a shared direction
- You have a track record of building systems and practices used beyond your immediate team
- You enjoy mentoring and raising the bar for others
- You have strong, hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails (essential)

We offer benefits package built to support you in and out of work. MEET THE TEAM 👥
Here at Cleo, we have ~70 Data Scientists (Product Analysts) working embedded into our Pillars ✨ They stay connected and share knowledge consistently through monthly meetings and slack channels to scale approaches and ensure everyone learns in the same way. They thrive through clear communication with their squad and stakeholders to influence product or company decisions, being that bridge between the non-tech and technical sides of the team. We have deeply structured data and a great experimentation culture using StatSig for all analysts to dive into!
ABOUT THE ROLE ✍️
We're hiring a senior analytics leader to own the analytics strategy and operating model across Cleo's Financial Services Product pillars. You'll lead and develop the analytics leadership layer itself - L4/L5 managers and senior ICs - setting company-level standards for metrics, experimentation, and reporting across pillars.
- Own the analytics strategy and operating model across Financial Services Product pillars - coherent measurement, experimentation, and insight cadence mapped to company priorities
- Lead and develop the analytics leadership layer (L4/L5 managers and senior ICs), building a strong bench, growth plans, and succession so the function doesn't rely on any single person
- Drive the experimentation programme as a product - fixing structural issues like single source of truth, standard bucketing, automated conflict detection, sizing and priors - and raise the bar on rigour across squads
- Improve observability of live user flows and metric movements, partnering with Engineering on the event framework and product-health reporting
- Champion responsible use of agentic AI as a force multiplier for analytics, with sensible guardrails
- Partner with Product, Credit, Engineering, Commercial, and ML leadership to shape roadmaps and trade-offs with evidence, giving senior leadership clear visibility on what's driving key metrics
- Set and enforce company-level standards for metrics, experimentation, and reporting, reducing duplicated, siloed work across pillars
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 🕵️
- 8+ years in data analytics, data science, BI engineering, or analytics engineering, ideally in a high-growth, product-led company
- Proven management experience of at least 4+ ICs
- Deep experimentation expertise beyond stat-sig testing - fixing structural problems in a testing programme: bucketing, conflicts/collisions, sizing, priors, governance
- A builder's instinct: bias for automation, ownership, and shipping
- Ability to set standards and an operating model that teams actually adopt, measurably improving delivery beyond a single team
- Commercial sense - can translate product/user metrics into revenue, profitability, and LTV, and hold your own with Product Directors and Commercial stakeholders
- Systems thinker, comfortable in a mature, complex product environment with interacting parts (e.g. payments, credit risk, ML models feeding user experience)
- Exec-ready storytelling - can synthesise across pillars, land insight at the right moment, and set and defend targets with senior stakeholders
- Player-coach instinct - creates leverage through delegation, templates, and self-serve, but goes hands-on on the highest-leverage or most ambiguous problems when needed
- Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, Cursor) as leverage, with the judgement to know when to trust output and when to verify
- Interest in fintech and Cleo's mission to make money easier and more human
- Nice to have: causal inference depth (CUPED, Bayesian methods, PSM, uplift modelling) and the judgement to know when it's worth the effort
- Nice to have: genuine enthusiasm for agentic AI as a force multiplier in analytics workflows
- Nice to have: credit-risk analytics exposure - arrears, defaults, how ML risk models interact with product analytics and UX
- Nice to have: fintech, personal finance, lending, or high-growth consumer subscription experience

What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.
About the role:
We are seeking an exceptional
Staff Software Engineer
to join our organization. Garner’s Engineering team tackles incredibly hard technical problems for a mission that truly matters. Our systems analyze billions of medical records to rank healthcare providers across the country. We are an AWS + Kubernetes shop, and we are constantly introducing new technologies as our system load doubles every year. We expect our engineers to champion cutting-edge industry practices as we aggressively embrace AI in every facet of our operations and norms. We are seeking teammates who take pride in delivering their best work while fostering a strong team culture.
Where you will work:
Garner is headquartered in NYC, but this position is available for individuals who are comfortable with remote work and occasional travel to HQ.
What you will do:
Lead team-level technical strategy and execution on multi-quarter time horizons
Use AI to build, optimize, and maintain software systems
Uplevel engineers across the organization by raising the technical bar

MEET THE TEAM
Here at Cleo, we have ~200 Engineers organised into Pillars ✨ Our stack spans a Ruby on Rails monolith, a single React Native (TypeScript) app frontend, Python for machine learning services, and PostgreSQL, all hosted on AWS and shipped through Kubernetes - backend goes out multiple times a week, app releases to Google and Apple at least weekly. To thrive here, our engineers proactively use our Engineering Principles to guide daily decisions, take ownership of problems beyond their own squad to drive broader impact, and actively drive their own learning, development and growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a brilliant Frontend React/React Native Engineer with an eye for UI/UX design to join us on our mission to fight for the world's financial health. You’ll be joining a team of adaptable, creative and product-focused engineers who ship working software. We understand our customers, we understand their pain, and we are passionate about helping them.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working on our React Native application, building out amazing experiences for our users which bring financial health to life in the unique Cleo tone of voice.
- Writing automated tests alongside your code to give us the confidence to ship it
- Using AB-Tests, feature flags and other tools that let us iterate quickly
- Using data to dig into user journeys, detecting problems and helping to optimise the Cleo experience
- Being part of the rota for our weekly app releases to the Apple and Google app stores
- Getting involved in cross-cutting concerns that lift our entire engineering effort with the rest of the frontend chapter
- Taking part in shaping all the work your squad does, not just the technical parts. Delivery is a team sport, and we encourage everyone at Cleo to share their ideas, so you can expect to be involved in product ideation sessions, user research calls, design reviews, retrospectives, ways of working sessions, product demos, OKR reviews.
Whichever squad and part of the business you land in, you will be shipping changes multiple times a week to our hundreds of thousands of active users and seeing your work having a material impact on the financial health of those most in need.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You are passionate about making a positive difference in society by improving the financial health of our users. You align with our company values https://web.meetcleo.com/life-at-cleo and engineering principles https://web.meetcleo.com/blog/cleo-engineering-principles, which drive our ways of working and software delivery.
For this frontend focused role, we also have some specific asks:
- We’re looking for someone with strong industry experience of using React Native or React with TypeScript for a minimum of 2+ years.
- As your work will primarily involve working on features for our mobile apps, we’d either like to see some proven experience in this area or a genuine passion for moving into the mobile app space.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer benefits package built to support you in and out of work. Benefits vary by country 🌍 and include meaningful equity, comprehensive health insurance, mental health support, a paid one-month sabbatical after four years, a learning & development platform, pension or retirement contributions, and location-specific leave entitlements.

We're glad to make reasonable adjustments at any stage of the process. If there's anything we can do to support you in showing us your best, please let your recruiter or one of the team know.

BILLING & ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ANALYST (SAAS)
🌍 Where do we hire from? Check that your country appears on this page https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bzBZ38P6zt02s96S9OsF8MnM1tq1JccB-g75gcnKpPw/edit?usp=sharing. For this role, you’ll have at least 5 hours daily overlap with our UK-based Finance team.
Hi there, I'm Rene Pavlides, Head of Finance at TestGorilla. I’m excited to share more about the Billing & Accounts Receivable Analyst role and our team.
ABOUT TESTGORILLA
At TestGorilla, we're on a mission to place 1 billion people in their dream jobs. To democratize opportunity, we’re building the world's leading skills-based talent discovery platform - one that replaces reliance on resumes with scientific validation of what people can truly do.
Founded as a 100% remote company in 2020, our global team is united by high standards, a lot of heart, and a relentless drive to conquer new technological frontiers. We’re all AI-fluent builders who care deeply about replacing bias with fairness.
After empowering thousands of companies to hire smarter and faster, we’re now unlocking the next phase of our scale-up journey - where you'll play an instrumental role in creating a world where skills matter most!
ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Billing & Accounts Receivable Analyst, you'll own customer billing, accounts receivable and collections for our subscription business. You'll investigate invoice and payment discrepancies, resolve them directly with customers, reconcile billing and payment records against the ledger, and fix the processes that keep causing them. You'll join a lean, three-person, AI-empowered Finance team, working directly with our Head of Finance and Senior Financial Controller, with lasting and broad ownership from day one.
Billing, AR, collections and reconciliation are core, permanent responsibilities. What grows is the build side. As you learn our systems and reporting definitions you'll take ownership of MRR/ARR reporting, and we'll expect you to automate the manual workflows behind it rather than maintain them. If you'd rather fix the process than work the queue, that's the part of this job that gets bigger.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Upholding TestGorilla's behaviors and fostering an inclusive, supportive culture.
- Owning customer billing end to end, including invoicing, subscription changes, payment queries, refunds, failed payment recovery, credit notes and corrections within agreed approval limits, and working with Customer Success on complex or sensitive billing cases.
- Owning accounts receivable, collections and dunning (via Upflow), resolving failed payments and billing disputes directly with customers.
- Getting to the root cause of recurring billing issues and fixing the underlying process, rather than just resolving individual cases as they come up.
- Owning reconciliations across billing, payments, subscription reporting and the ledger, explaining timing and definition differences, and producing MRR/ARR movement reporting and analysis that helps Finance understand what has changed and why.
- Improving and introducing Finance automations around AR, billing and reporting, and moving routine work towards exception-based processing.
- Supporting billing platform, pricing and packaging changes from a Finance perspective: defining requirements, testing outcomes and monitoring exceptions, and partnering with Product and Engineering when a technical change is needed.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
We're looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about TestGorilla's mission to help one billion people find their dream jobs.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Thrives in a high-autonomy, async-first, remote-only environment.
- Has personally owned customer billing and AR or collections, including investigating exceptions and following issues through to resolution.
- Has personally resolved complex customer billing or payment issues directly with customers.
- Has run customer billing in a subscription or other recurring-revenue business, and is hands-on with a subscription billing platform such as Chargebee, Zuora, Recurly, Stripe Billing, Maxio, Paddle or similar.
- Is skilled at reconciliation, and able to independently work through why two financial or customer datasets don't agree.
- Has strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Is comfortable using AI and automation to reduce manual work, and can point to a recurring Finance process they personally improved or automated.
Most people in this role will have at least four years of relevant experience. We haven't set an upper limit, because we care far more about what you've owned and how you've progressed than the number of years.
We seek diversity and encourage applications from everyone, even if your experience doesn't exactly match the description. Studies show that women and underrepresented groups can be hesitant to apply unless they meet every requirement - let's buck that trend!
BONUS SKILLS
While these skills aren't a requirement, we'd be very interested to hear from you if you have any of the following:
- Experience with a subscription billing platform such as Chargebee, Zuora, Recurly, Stripe Billing, Maxio or Paddle.
- Experience with a collections platform such as Upflow.
- MRR, ARR, churn or subscription-revenue reporting.
- SQL or self-service BI tools such as Looker, Metabase, Power BI or Holistics.
- Experience building or maintaining automations using tools like Claude, n8n, Zapier, Make or Python.
- Multi-currency billing, pricing/packaging changes, or ERP migrations.
- A professional accounting qualification.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
Please note: In this role, you’ll be hired as an Individual Contractor.
- Global Team: Join a fully remote, mission-driven team from around the world.
- Competitive compensation: Receive competitive pay of between €43,440 and €54,300 per year + Share Appreciation Rights (SARs).
- Remote & flexible work: Work from almost anywhere*. Enjoy flexible hours and asynchronous work to balance work and life.
*Check out the countries we currently hire from here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bzBZ38P6zt02s96S9OsF8MnM1tq1JccB-g75gcnKpPw/edit?usp=sharing.
- Remote work budget: €1,000 available each year, or up to €2,000 from day 1 if you're buying a laptop!
- Growth & development: Invest in yourself and your career with a 3.5% L&D budget per year and clear growth opportunities.
- Parent/Caregiver support: We provide a caregiver-friendly work environment with paid 8-16 week parental leave and tailored return-to-work approaches.
- Work-life balance: Our unlimited and flexible time off policy empowers you to take the time you need to recharge and maintain your well-being.
