Location: Toronto; San Francisco; Canada; United States; New York; Ottawa; Montreal Workplace: Hybrid WHO ARE WE? Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems. We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that. We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft. We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us! WHY THIS ROLE? We’re building the foundational infrastructure that will define how the world thinks about and deploys AI, and we want the sharpest, most driven, and most curious people to help us do it. As the head of the Data Foundation pillar of our Analytics and Data Insights team, you’ll lead the team that makes Cohere’s data trustworthy, governed, and available: the warehouse every analytics surface runs on, the pipelines that keep it fresh, the access model that keeps it secure, and the agentic analytics layer that lets anyone at Cohere (and their agents) ask questions of governed data directly. Your team owns the full data lifecycle. You’ll run ingestion into BigQuery from internal and external data sources, orchestrate it in Airflow and Cloud Run, model the data warehouse in dbt, and serve the results through Looker, export APIs, and customer-facing analytics surfaces. Everything is provisioned as code in Terraform, and governance is part of the design: VPC service controls, IAM patterns, and documented access paths that let people and agents move fast without putting data at risk. This role is both highly visible and highly impactful, and you’ll inherit a solid structure on which to build the rest of the stack: a Terraform-provisioned warehouse framework, dbt modeling conventions, an alerting and incident-response practice, and documentation patterns to keep everything discoverable. The roadmap is set with big bets in flight: scaling that framework across the company, standing up an internal analytics agent with a real eval harness, and consolidating institutional knowledge into a self-correcting and self-maintaining system that keeps context centralized, current, and documented, rather than dispersed and in people’s heads. Responsibilities As the head of the Data Foundation pillar, you will: - Build and lead the team. Hire and grow a team of data and infrastructure engineers; set the technical bar; develop strong talent and raise team performance, building leadership capability beneath you. - Set the roadmap from company strategy. Own and sequence the Data Foundation roadmap: the warehouse buildout, the agentic analytics program, data governance, and the platform work that unblocks our other pillars. You’ll make the trade-offs and carry the cross-functional impact that comes with them. - Own the data platform end to end. Ingestion (managed connectors and an open-source connector framework), orchestration on Airflow and Cloud Run, warehouse modeling in BigQuery with dbt (raw, core, mart layers), and serving through Looker, export APIs, and semantic layers. All of it provisioned as code in Terraform. - Own data governance. Define how humans, service accounts, and agents get access to governed data: VPC service controls, IAM patterns, documented onboarding paths, audit logs, and sensitive requests (including legal holds) handled to deadline. - Operate for reliability. Run the alerting and anomaly-detection framework, own data freshness SLAs, lead incident response and postmortems, and turn every incident into a durable standard so the same class of failure doesn’t recur. - Lead the agentic analytics program. Wire the semantic layer into an internal analytics agent, build the eval harness that measures its accuracy, and make the eval-driven call on where AI earns its way into production. Apply the same discipline to automating data engineering work itself. - Set the standard for analytics across the company. The medallion framework, naming conventions, and testing patterns your team maintains become the way other teams ship analytics data. You’ll onboard new domains onto it and keep the docs accurate to how the systems actually work. - Partner across the org. Work with the North product and engineering teams on the analytics surfaces that ship in the product (including a customer-facing analytics export), with Business Insights on marts for the business, with Security on data governance, and with Legal on compliance-critical data requests. QUALIFICATIONS You may be a good fit, if you have: - 10+ years of experience across data engineering, data infrastructure, or analytics platform work, with a strong management track record leading data platform or infrastructure teams - Serious hands-on history in data engineering or infrastructure before management. You can still read a Terraform plan, a dbt DAG, or an Airflow scheduler log and ask the question that matters - Production experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar), workflow orchestration (Airflow or similar), and infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar) - Depth in data modeling: you think in fact and dimension tables, raw/core/mart separation, and semantic layers, and you have opinions on where tests and contracts belong - A record of setting a team’s roadmap from company or function strategy and delivering outcomes that span teams, with the cross-functional partnerships to match - Operational excellence you can point to: alerting you trust, SLAs you meet, incidents you run to ground and write up so they teach - Exposure to data security and governance: IAM, access management, VPC service controls or equivalent, audit and compliance workflows - Genuine excitement about AI: you follow the research, have opinions, and are energized by building the data foundation an AI company (and its AI agents) runs on - Comfort operating in ambiguity, leading a multi-workstream roadmap, and working directly with executives on priorities If some of the above doesn’t line up perfectly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply! FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AT COHERE ENJOY THESE PERKS: - A weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or equivalent in your local currency for lunch. - Full health and dental benefits, including a separate budget for mental health. - RRSP matching, 401K, Pension Scheme. - 100% Parental Leave top-up for up to 6 months, for either parent. - Annual enrichment benefits: Arts & culture, fitness/wellness, quality time, and a workspace improvement credit. Education & learning stipend for conferences, courses, and coaching. - 6 weeks of paid vacation (30 working days!) - Budget for traveling to other offices if you are remote, plus an annual company offsite. HOW AND WHERE WE WORK: - Cohere is remote-friendly, but we also have offices in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul with more opening soon. - For those in the office: a daily lunch program, plenty of snacks, and regular community and social events. - For those not near an office: a co-working benefit so you can work alongside others in your city. - Everyone receives a $500 home office stipend to set up your workspace properly. One measured how our own people feel about working here. They landed in the same place ~ because at Oyster, culture and performance aren't separate conversations. They're the same one. And we're just getting started. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love for you to apply. THE ROLE Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster’s positions are fully remote and you can work from home. Forever. To create the best experience for our new hire, this role requires you to be based within UTC−6 to UTC+3. All applications will be reviewed after the submission deadline on Nov 6th, and we’ll be in touch with next steps shortly after. We appreciate your patience and interest in joining the team. Role Summary Oyster is looking for a Partner Marketing Manager to build a scalable engine that creates demand and pipeline through our partner ecosystem. You will inherit an active portfolio, keep important commitments moving, and decide what to continue, improve, or retire using performance and cost data. Working across Channel and Marketing, you will design and execute programs that market to partners, with partners, and through partners—turning partner strategy into repeatable go-to-market motions with clear measurement. This is a high-autonomy individual-contributor role with global remit, budget ownership, and direct partnership with the Director of Demand and Growth. Key Responsibilities - Design, orchestrate, execute, and measure partner marketing programs across the ecosystem. - Build programs that market to partners, with partners, and through partners. - Protect existing partner commitments during handover while reviewing the portfolio for performance, cost, and strategic fit. - Own and allocate the partner marketing budget, including co-marketing and MDF, and defend investment decisions with return data. - Develop partner segmentation, positioning, messaging, and repeatable operating models. - Create joint programs across partner types, including technology partners. - Enable partners to take Oyster’s message and value proposition to their audiences. - Align Channel, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Content, Sales, and Revenue Operations around integrated plans. - Establish credible reporting for partner-sourced pipeline, partner-influenced pipeline, engagement, and program ROI. - Apply AI and automation processes to improve segmentation, personalization, program development, execution, and insight generation. Core Requirements - Demonstrated ownership of measurable partner or ecosystem marketing programs from strategy through execution and reporting. - Strong understanding of marketing to, with, and through partners. - Ability to connect marketing activity to sourced or influenced pipeline and explain attribution trade-offs. - Strong cross-functional collaboration across partnerships, channel, marketing, sales, and revenue operations. - Experience managing a program portfolio and making evidence-based choices about what to continue, change, or stop. - Ability to adapt messaging and motions across partner types, incentives, audiences, and regions. - Sound budget judgment and confidence allocating spend against expected return. - AI-native working style, with evidence of rebuilding marketing workflows around AI while managing quality and privacy risks. - Comfort operating independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment. Bonus / Nice-to-Have Experience - Experience in B2B SaaS, HR technology, global employment, or another partner-led ecosystem. - Experience marketing with technology partners. - Experience building a partner marketing function, measurement model, or operating cadence from an early stage. - Familiarity with PRM, marketing automation, CRM, attribution, and analytics tools. - Experience supporting global programs across regions and time zones. This might not be right for you if... - You prefer isolated campaign execution to building an interconnected partner program. - You are uncomfortable owning pipeline outcomes, attribution, and budget trade-offs. - You want a blank page rather than inheriting live commitments and partner relationships. - You rely on manual workflows and are not motivated to adopt AI-enabled ways of working. - Sustained alignment across Channel, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and external partners feels like overhead rather than core work. You'll also need - A reliable home internet connection and fluency in both written and spoken English. Location: Limassol Cyprus Workplace: OnSite Job Title: Staff/Lead SDET Engineer (Test Automation Platform) Product: Total Battle Total Battle is a massive MMO 4X strategy game available on mobile and web, uniting millions of active players. As our product and engineering teams scale, we are shifting our testing paradigm: automated testing must become a daily, self-service engineering tool rather than a bottleneck owned by a dedicated team. We are looking for a Staff/Lead SDET to take technical ownership of our internal test automation tooling and make this vision a reality. Why this role exists Your core mission is to empower product QA teams. You won't write tests; you will build the tools, APIs, and abstractions that allow QA engineers (with basic Python & OOP skills) to independently create checks, manage test states, run tests in CI/CD, and diagnose failures. - The Product Teams own the tests. - You own the tooling layer that makes their work possible. [https://app.ashbyhq.com/api/images/user-content/55591132-5874-4888-add0-f14f70025dca/2aa3a273-986b-4c05-b6a2-27fee33e607f/image.png] 💡 Core Focus Areas: 1. Client Testing Tools: UI scenarios, method/component checks across Android, WebGL, and (soon) iOS. 2. Server Integration: Component testing tools built over existing Python clients, SDKs, and product testability capabilities.(Note: We aren't starting from scratch. We need a visionary who can assess our existing solutions, define a target architecture, and evolve them incrementally). What You’ll Work On - Drive Technical Strategy: Define the roadmap for QA tooling, evolve its architecture, and personally implement key solutions. - Build the Platform: Develop domain APIs, fixtures, and state-preparation tools for integration/component testing over existing SDKs. - Enhance Client Automation: Extend client UI automation and enable sub-UI checks for specific client methods. - Unify Execution: Ensure local and CI execution follow a predictable, unified path across Android and WebGL. - Create Diagnostics: Build clear diagnostic tools to help QA engineers easily distinguish between product, test, tooling, and infrastructure failures. - Cross-Team Collaboration: Translate recurring QA needs into product testability requirements and establish technical contracts with client/backend teams. - Evangelize & Mentor: Drive adoption of your tools through pilots, solid documentation, and feedback loops. (Where needed, help define engineering roles and participate in hiring/onboarding). Who You Are We are looking for a hands-on technical leader who thrives in long-term ownership of internal platforms. - Python Expert: You regularly write, debug, and maintain Python code for libraries, frameworks, SDKs, or internal tools. - Platform Builder: You have designed or substantially evolved a framework/SDK used by multiple teams, bringing it to a point where teams can use it independently. - API Designer: You know how to build stable public APIs over existing SDKs, hiding low-level details from the end-user. - Cross-Functional Driver: You’ve successfully worked with backend, client, or framework teams to deliver testability capabilities, driving changes even when you don't directly manage the teams. - CI/CD & Diagnostics Guru: You have integrated automated checks into CI quality gates with robust reproducibility and diagnostics. - AI Adopter: You leverage LLMs and coding agents to investigate codebases, develop tooling, or create tests efficiently. - Deep Domain Expertise: You have profound hands-on experience in at least one of the following (and can take technical responsibility for the other): - Client/UI automation: Drivers, custom/non-native UI, synchronization, and sub-UI checks. - Backend/integration tooling: Python clients/SDKs, protocols, sessions, fixtures, and test state. Nice to Have (Bonus Points) - Experience in both client/UI and backend/integration tooling. - Background in modernizing legacy automation and conducting incremental user migrations. - Experience with complex test lifecycles (data isolation, flaky checks, state management). - Experience in GameDev or complex live-service products (Unity, Cocos/Axmol, WebGL). - Familiarity with Selenium, Appium, Playwright, XCUITest, Android ADB, or iOS infrastructure. - Experience with asynchronous Python, typed models (Pydantic, mypy), or schema-based code generation. Why to join: 1. ☀️ Live & Work in Sunny Cyprus: We’re an office-first team in Limassol with a modern seaside workspaces. We provide full relocation and visa support for you and your family. 2. 💰 Industry-Leading Rewards: High salaries, a 13th salary, performance bonuses, extra rewards for life milestones (marriage, babies, long service), daily breakfast and lunch. 3. 🛡️ Family Support: Private family health insurance, plus a highly competitive monthly allowance for your children’s pre-school, school, and university education. 4. 🚀 Shape a Global Hit: Work on a Top-10 global mobile 4X strategy game that has grown 25x in revenue and audience over 5 years. 5. 🏰 Rock-Solid Stability: We operate at startup speed but with zero history of lay-offs. We are independent, financially secure, and boast a 99% employee satisfaction rate. 6. 🧠 Culture & Growth: A flat structure where the best ideas win and transparency rules. Your growth is funded from specialized training, certifications, language courses and books to internal and external conferences coverage.

Location: Remote About the Team: Netlify’s Data team helps the company understand and improve the full product-led growth journey, from activation and engagement through conversion, retention, and monetization. We partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Growth to uncover opportunities, evaluate investments, and understand what drives customer and business outcomes. We’re hiring a Senior Staff Data Scientist to deepen how data shapes our product and growth strategy. You’ll develop an end-to-end understanding of the PLG journey, proactively identify opportunities, and turn complex data into hypotheses, experiments, and recommendations that influence where we invest and what we build. This is a highly autonomous role for someone who can move from identifying an important question to shaping the approach, defining success, and driving toward an answer. What You'll Do: Own the analytical understanding of Netlify’s PLG performance across activation, engagement, conversion, monetization, and retention, identifying opportunities before they become requests Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to turn behavioral insights into product bets, defining what to test, how to measure it, and what the results mean Lead experimentation from hypothesis through decision, including study design, methodology, success metrics, guardrails, analysis, and recommendations Apply statistical rigor where it matters while recognizing when there is enough signal to make a decision and move forward, and help teams develop that same judgment Build scalable analytical systems like semantic models, trusted metrics, proactive monitoring, and AI-powered agents that surface opportunities without waiting to be asked Use AI to investigate faster, automate recurring analytical work, and test more hypotheses without sacrificing the judgment that makes the output useful Identify gaps in measurement, event instrumentation, and metric definitions, and partner with Data and Product Engineering to close them Serve as a trusted analytical partner to PLG leadership, using evidence and product judgment to influence investment decisions and roadmap priorities Influence product strategy through evidence, product instincts, and a clear point of view, without relying on formal authority to do it What You'll Bring: 8+ years of experience in product analytics, growth analytics, or data science, with a track record of high ownership and measurable impact on PLG or consumer product outcomes Deep understanding of product and growth dynamics across activation, engagement, conversion, monetization, and retention Demonstrated ability to turn behavioral data into product hypotheses and carry them from insight through experimentation and measured outcomes Deep experimentation expertise: study design, statistical reasoning, causal inference, and the judgment to know when an experiment has told you what you need to know Experience building analytical systems such as metrics layers, monitoring frameworks, or semantic models that teams can rely on over time An AI-native approach to analysis: you use AI tools actively to accelerate investigation, automate repetitive work, and surface patterns faster A track record of influencing senior stakeholders and product direction through analytical reasoning, clear recommendations, and sound judgment Comfort operating with significant autonomy in ambiguous problem spaces, including determining which questions are most important to answer Strong written and verbal communication skills in distributed environments, with the ability to make complex findings clear and recommendations actionable This Role is a Great Fit If: You're energized by finding the opportunity before anyone thought to ask - proactive discovery is how you naturally work, not a mode you shift into You think like a product person who happens to be exceptionally rigorous with data, not a data person who occasionally weighs in on product You thrive when the problem isn't handed to you - you'd rather define the question worth asking than answer the one that landed in your queue You get excited about building systems that keep working after you've moved on to the next problem You're comfortable making a call with imperfect information and can articulate clearly why you made it You enjoy being a thought partner to senior leaders - shaping how they think about investment and opportunity, not just supporting decisions already made You work well in a remote-first, async environment where written clarity and self-direction matter more than proximity You're drawn to roles where the measure of success is outcomes, decisions made, bets tested, metrics moved, not volume of output produced Applying Not sure you meet 100% of our qualifications? Please apply anyway! When applying please include: A resume or short listing of your job history & skills (link to a LinkedIn profile would be fine). We appreciate a cover letter explaining why you would enjoy working in this role at Netlify to get to know you a bit better, though this is not required and will not impact your application. Our mission is to “build a better web” and that cannot be done without a diversity of skill sets, backgrounds and thoughts. Of everything we've ever built at Netlify, we are most proud of our team. Netlify is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are devoted to building a team of people with diverse backgrounds and lifestyles.
