Senior Staff Data Scientist

Location: Remote About the Team: Netlify’s Data team helps the company understand and improve the full product-led growth journey, from activation and engagement through conversion, retention, and monetization. We partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Growth to uncover opportunities, evaluate investments, and understand what drives customer and business outcomes. We’re hiring a Senior Staff Data Scientist to deepen how data shapes our product and growth strategy. You’ll develop an end-to-end understanding of the PLG journey, proactively identify opportunities, and turn complex data into hypotheses, experiments, and recommendations that influence where we invest and what we build. This is a highly autonomous role for someone who can move from identifying an important question to shaping the approach, defining success, and driving toward an answer. What You'll Do: Own the analytical understanding of Netlify’s PLG performance across activation, engagement, conversion, monetization, and retention, identifying opportunities before they become requests Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to turn behavioral insights into product bets, defining what to test, how to measure it, and what the results mean Lead experimentation from hypothesis through decision, including study design, methodology, success metrics, guardrails, analysis, and recommendations Apply statistical rigor where it matters while recognizing when there is enough signal to make a decision and move forward, and help teams develop that same judgment Build scalable analytical systems like semantic models, trusted metrics, proactive monitoring, and AI-powered agents  that surface opportunities without waiting to be asked Use AI to investigate faster, automate recurring analytical work, and test more hypotheses without sacrificing the judgment that makes the output useful Identify gaps in measurement, event instrumentation, and metric definitions, and partner with Data and Product Engineering to close them Serve as a trusted analytical partner to PLG leadership, using evidence and product judgment to influence investment decisions and roadmap priorities Influence product strategy through evidence, product instincts, and a clear point of view, without relying on formal authority to do it What You'll Bring: 8+ years of experience in product analytics, growth analytics, or data science, with a track record of high ownership and measurable impact on PLG or consumer product outcomes Deep understanding of product and growth dynamics across activation, engagement, conversion, monetization, and retention Demonstrated ability to turn behavioral data into product hypotheses and carry them from insight through experimentation and measured outcomes Deep experimentation expertise: study design, statistical reasoning, causal inference, and the judgment to know when an experiment has told you what you need to know Experience building analytical systems such as metrics layers, monitoring frameworks, or semantic models that teams can rely on over time An AI-native approach to analysis: you use AI tools actively to accelerate investigation, automate repetitive work, and surface patterns faster A track record of influencing senior stakeholders and product direction through analytical reasoning, clear recommendations, and sound judgment Comfort operating with significant autonomy in ambiguous problem spaces, including determining which questions are most important to answer Strong written and verbal communication skills in distributed environments, with the ability to make complex findings clear and recommendations actionable This Role is a Great Fit If: You're energized by finding the opportunity before anyone thought to ask - proactive discovery is how you naturally work, not a mode you shift into You think like a product person who happens to be exceptionally rigorous with data, not a data person who occasionally weighs in on product You thrive when the problem isn't handed to you - you'd rather define the question worth asking than answer the one that landed in your queue You get excited about building systems that keep working after you've moved on to the next problem You're comfortable making a call with imperfect information and can articulate clearly why you made it You enjoy being a thought partner to senior leaders - shaping how they think about investment and opportunity, not just supporting decisions already made You work well in a remote-first, async environment where written clarity and self-direction matter more than proximity You're drawn to roles where the measure of success is outcomes, decisions made, bets tested, metrics moved, not volume of output produced Applying Not sure you meet 100% of our qualifications? Please apply anyway! When applying please include: A resume or short listing of your job history & skills (link to a LinkedIn profile would be fine). We appreciate a cover letter explaining why you would enjoy working in this role at Netlify to get to know you a bit better, though this is not required and will not impact your application. Senior Demand Generation Marketing Manager

Location: Remote About the Team Netlify is a product-led growth company with an unusually large organic top-of-funnel, where tens of thousands of people discover and sign up for Netlify every day. That organic motion is real and meaningful, but paid acquisition is a new investment area for the marketing team, and there's a clear opportunity to build that capability from the ground up. As Senior Manager, Demand Generation & Performance Marketing, you'll own paid acquisition end to end - strategy, channel selection, budget, and the agency relationship that supports execution. You'll report to the CMO, with a planned transition to the VP of Growth Marketing as that function scales, and work closely with Marketing Operations, Data, Lifecycle, and Campaigns to make sure paid-acquired users don't just land, but convert and stick. This is a builder role at a company where the organic foundation is already strong, and your job is to build the paid layer that extends its reach. What You'll Do Build and own Netlify's paid acquisition strategy end to end, including paid search, paid social, retargeting, sponsorships, and any other channels worth testing and proving out. Own the call on where paid creates incremental value for Netlify. Design the tests, prove which channels and audiences drive growth our organic funnel wouldn't have delivered anyway, and decide where to scale, where to hold, and where not to spend at all. Manage the agency relationship(s) supporting paid/performance work by setting the brief, holding the agency accountable to targets, and deciding what to bring in-house as the function matures. Own budget planning, pacing, and ROI reporting for all paid spend, and make the case for where to double down or pull back. Partner with Marketing Operations to get attribution and UTM tracking right before scaling spend, so every dollar is measurable. Define target audiences and channel mix aligned to Netlify's ICP; partner with Product Marketing on messaging inputs for paid creative. Build the measurement framework for CAC, signup/pipeline contribution, and payback by channel. Partner with Lifecycle and Campaigns to make sure paid-acquired users flow into the right onboarding and activation journeys, not just land and drop off. As the program proves out, build the roadmap and case for a fully staffed paid/performance team. What You'll Bring 6+ years in demand generation or performance marketing, with direct ownership of a paid acquisition budget in a B2B SaaS or product-led growth environment Hands-on experience running paid search, paid social, and retargeting programs yourself - not just briefing agencies or reviewing their reports A track record of standing up or significantly scaling a paid acquisition program at an early stage, where you had to build the infrastructure and not just optimize what was already there Experience managing an external agency or partner relationship, including setting performance expectations and holding partners accountable to them Working knowledge of attribution and marketing measurement, and a history of partnering with Marketing Ops or Data teams to get tracking right before spend scales Some experience marketing to developers or technical audiences, or with a PLG motion where paid acquisition runs alongside a large organic and self-serve funnel This Role Is a Great Fit If You're energized by building and scaling a new paid program, not just optimizing one that's already mature. You think like an owner of budget and outcomes, not just a briefs-and-reports manager of an agency. You're comfortable moving between strategy (channel mix, targeting, budget allocation) and getting into the details yourself when it matters. You care about attribution being right before spend scales, not as an afterthought. You want to build in close partnership with Lifecycle, Campaigns, and Marketing Ops rather than run paid as a separate lane that hands off a spreadsheet at the end of the quarter Applying Not sure you meet 100% of our qualifications? Please apply anyway! When applying please include: A resume or short listing of your job history & skills (link to a LinkedIn profile would be fine). Customer Success Associate (Denver, CO)

Location: Remote About the Team Netlify's Customer Success team is responsible for making sure customers get real, lasting value from the platform - from onboarding through renewal and beyond. The team works closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing to help customers grow their usage, see clear outcomes, and stay engaged over time. Every motion the team runs - whether it's a renewal conversation, a feature adoption push or customer escalation - is designed to build trust and relationships that compound. This role exists because we have a growing book of SMB accounts that need a dedicated, consistent point of contact. As our Customer Success Associate, you’ll drive broad-stroke outreach and build the workflows to manage them well. You'll carry a book of 120+ accounts with roughly $2M in ARR, and your job is to make sure those customers are engaged, getting value, and set up for renewal. This is an entry-level role with real ownership from day one, and you'll have mentorship from senior teammates as you ramp into the commercial side of the work. What You'll Do Own the day-to-day relationship for your book of accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and keeping customers informed, engaged, and successful on the platform Contribute ideas to dashboards and workflows to track your book of business - renewal timelines, health signals, engagement levels, and expansion indicators - so nothing falls through the cracks With guidance of leadership, drive outreach to customers ahead of renewal, lead those conversations, handle objections, and negotiate terms on flat renewals and smaller expansions, looping in Sales when a meaningful expansion opportunity emerges. Track and forecast your renewal book on a rolling basis, proactively surfacing risks and creating plans to address them before they become problems Use product usage data and customer outcomes to demonstrate value in renewal conversations and ongoing check-ins Identify opportunities for feature adoption and product expansion within accounts, and flag those signals to the Sales team to build expansion pipeline Gather and synthesize customer feedback and share it with Product and internal stakeholders to inform roadmap decisions and improve the customer experience Work closely with senior CS teammates and your manager to develop your skills in account management, commercial negotiation, and customer communication What You'll Bring Some experience in a customer-facing role - this could be internship work, customer service, sales support, retail, or anything that required you to build rapport and solve problems for people Comfort working with data and spreadsheets, and a genuine interest in using that data to spot trends and make decisions A track record of following through: when you commit to something, you close the loop Clear written and verbal communication - you can explain things simply, listen well, and adapt your approach to different audiences An interest in building a career in customer success, and curiosity about the commercial side of the business - including how renewals work, how contracts are structured, and how value gets communicated to customers You’re based in the Denver, Colorado area and are comfortable working remotely while participating in occasional in-person meetings and engagement with Denver-based stakeholders. This Role is a Great Fit If You're energized by building relationships and want to be the person customers actually look forward to hearing from You thrive when you have ownership over a defined body of work and the freedom to figure out how to make it run better You enjoy the process of organizing complexity - tracking multiple accounts, spotting patterns, and keeping everything moving without things slipping You're drawn to roles where you learn by doing, and you're comfortable asking questions and taking feedback as you develop your skills You get excited about connecting customers to features or capabilities they didn't know they needed, and seeing that translate into real adoption You work well within a team structure and are looking for mentorship, but you also want to take real ownership rather than just support someone else's book Applying Not sure you meet 100% of our qualifications? Please apply anyway! When applying please include: A resume or short listing of your job history & skills (link to a LinkedIn profile would be fine). Senior Marketing Operations Manager

Location: Remote About the Team Netlify is a product-led growth company, and Revenue Operations owns the systems, data, and infrastructure that turn that growth into revenue.  With a large volume of people discovering and signing up for Netlify every day, Marketing Operations is critical to understanding those users, connecting activity across our systems, and creating scalable ways to engage them throughout their journey. As Senior Marketing Operations Manager, you’ll own the operational foundation behind that work. You’ll connect HubSpot, Salesforce, product data, and analytics, build the systems and lifecycle infrastructure that turn signals into action, and give Marketing and our GTM partners trusted visibility into performance. Reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue Operations, you’ll translate the Marketing Operations vision into a roadmap and independently drive it forward while partnering closely with Growth, RevOps, Data, Product, and other GTM teams. What You’ll Do Execute on the Marketing Operations roadmap, translating broader Marketing and GTM priorities into scalable systems, processes, and programs. Own our marketing automation platform end to end, including workflows, lifecycle stages, segmentation, forms, lists, email operations, data hygiene, deliverability, governance, and documentation. Build and maintain the connection between marketing automation, Salesforce, product data, and analytics so we can understand and engage users throughout the customer journey. Establish reliable attribution and measurement across marketing and product-led journeys, including UTM governance and connections between campaigns, signups, activation, conversion, and revenue. Build reporting and self-service dashboards that give Marketing and GTM partners a trusted view of performance and support weekly, monthly, and executive-level decision-making. Partner with Growth to operationalize lifecycle programs across email, in-product experiences, and sales-assist triggers, turning customer and product signals into scalable journeys from signup through activation and conversion. Build experimentation infrastructure that allows marketers to launch, measure, and learn from tests without requiring engineering support for every experiment. Own the operational health of the MarTech stack, including integrations, data flows, governance, vendor relationships, and periodic assessments of what we should keep, retire, consolidate, or integrate. Establish scalable practices for high-volume email operations, including audience management, domain and inbox health, deliverability, and safeguards that protect the customer experience. Turn large and sometimes ambiguous datasets into actionable recommendations, identifying points of friction or drop-off and partnering with Marketing, Growth, Product, Data, and RevOps on opportunities to improve conversion. Own the Marketing Operations portion of the broader Marketing budget and evaluate technology investments based on business value, scalability, and ROI. Explore emerging capabilities in AI-enabled marketing operations and AI visibility measurement, helping the team establish useful workflows and baselines as the space develops. What You’ll Bring 7+ years of experience in Marketing Operations or a closely related discipline, with experience operating independently in a complex B2B SaaS or product-led growth environment. Deep experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems such as HubSpot, Marketo, Eloqua, and Salesforce, including lifecycle stages, campaign architecture, attribution, lead or account routing, and data governance. Experience working with high-volume customer or prospect datasets and designing segmentation, lifecycle, and operational approaches that remain reliable at scale. Significant experience operating high-volume email programs, with a practical understanding of deliverability, domain and inbox reputation, audience management, warming strategies, and the risks that emerge at large sending volumes. Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate complex datasets, identify meaningful patterns, question the quality of the underlying data, and turn findings into recommendations. Experience building or operating lifecycle, nurture, or in-product engagement programs tied to measurable activation or conversion outcomes. Systems thinking and experience designing integrations across marketing automation, CRM, product, analytics, and data systems. Experience building measurement and experimentation infrastructure that enables other teams to operate and learn independently. Strong GTM fluency and an understanding of how Marketing Operations, Growth, Sales, RevOps, Product, and Customer Success connect to customer experience and revenue. Comfort using AI-enabled tools and workflows to accelerate your work while applying judgment to validate outputs and determine where automation is (and isn’t) appropriate. Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Amplitude and experience with emerging AEO or AI-visibility tooling is helpful. Experience working with contractors, agencies, or distributed partners is helpful but not required. Familiarity with developer tools, web platforms, or another high-volume PLG business is useful, but we value relevant operating experience over category-specific expertise. This Role Is a Great Fit If You enjoy building the foundation, not just operating what someone else has already built. You’re energized by taking an imperfect system and creating something scalable, measurable, and trusted. You’re comfortable moving between architecture and execution. You can define how a system should work and then get into the details yourself when necessary to make it work. You thrive with significant autonomy. Given a goal and context, you investigate the problem, weigh tradeoffs, make a recommendation, and drive the work forward without needing a detailed playbook. You genuinely enjoy data. Large, messy datasets make you curious, and you’re willing to dig until you understand what is happening and what the business should do about it. You care deeply about operational quality. Data integrity, attribution, documentation, audience segmentation, and email deliverability aren’t afterthoughts—they’re part of building a trustworthy growth engine. You balance speed with judgment. You know when to move quickly, when a shortcut creates unacceptable downstream risk, and when to challenge an approach that won’t scale. You see AI as a way to amplify good judgment and increase leverage rather than a substitute for understanding the work. You communicate clearly in an async, distributed environment and can build alignment across Marketing, Growth, Product, Sales, RevOps, and Data without relying on organizational authority. Applying Not sure you meet 100% of our qualifications? Please apply anyway!
