Sony Interactive Entertainment isn’t just the Best Place to Play — it’s also the Best Place to Work. Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is the company behind the PlayStation brand. As a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, we’re part of a proud legacy of innovation and excellence. SIE is a dynamic technology company, delivering cutting-edge hardware and network services to more than 100 million people and an entertainment leader, home to some of the most beloved and recognizable intellectual properties (IP) in the world. Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.
Role Overview
The Director, IT Core Infrastructure is a senior technology leader responsible for the strategy, transformation, delivery, and operations of SIE’s global core infrastructure capabilities. The role leads a broad, globally distributed organization spanning internal networks and client access, core network connectivity across physical sites, cloud and on-premise infrastructure, and enterprise endpoint management across mobile, Linux, Windows, and Mac platforms.
Reporting to the Senior Director of IT, this role leads through multiple managers and is accountable for the performance, security, scalability, reliability, resilience, and user experience of Core Infrastructure services. The Director will translate enterprise strategy into clear priorities, investment decisions, and multi-year roadmaps while balancing transformation, operational performance, technical debt, risk, and cost.
This leader will drive the evolution of Core Infrastructure toward highly automated, software defined, self-service, and increasingly autonomous operating models. The role requires the technical credibility to lead across infrastructure disciplines and the breadth to shape technology strategy, lead transformation, influence across organizational boundaries, and take on expanded responsibilities as business needs evolve.
What you'll be doing:
Functional Leadership & Accountability
Lead the Core Infrastructure organization across multiple teams and disciplines, providing clear direction, priorities, and accountability for outcomes.
Hold end-to-end accountability for service performance, including availability, reliability, security, resilience, and user experience.
Set priorities and make decisions across the Core Infrastructure portfolio, balancing operational needs, transformation, risk, technical debt, and investment.
Establish
clear accountability across teams while empowering leaders to independently own their services and outcomes.
Infrastructure Strategy & Transformation
Define and execute a Core Infrastructure strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned with enterprise technology strategy and business priorities.
Lead the evolution toward highly automated, software defined, self-service, and increasingly autonomous infrastructure services.
Drive adoption of
infrastructure
as code, observability, AI enabled operations, and modern engineering practices to improve reliability, scalability, speed, and efficiency.
Simplify and standardize technology and service models, reducing complexity and improving the ability to
operate
globally at scale.
Partner with Information Security, Service & Support, and other technology organizations to develop integrated solutions and influence broader enterprise technology strategy.
Service Delivery & Operational Excellence
Establish strong operational practices across service management, incident response, change management, lifecycle management, capacity, observability, and resilience.
Ensure infrastructure services meet performance, security, availability, resilience, business continuity, and regulatory requirements.
Drive measurable improvements in reliability, employee experience, engineering productivity, automation, cost efficiency, and speed of delivery.
Use operational data and service performance measures to
identify
systemic issues, prioritize improvements, guide investment, and reduce manual operational effort.
Enterprise & Cross Functional Leadership
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior technology and business leaders on infrastructure strategy, investments, risks, and opportunities.
Lead complex enterprise initiatives that span multiple technology organizations and require alignment across priorities, ownership boundaries, and stakeholders.
Represent Core Infrastructure in enterprise planning, architecture, investment, risk, and transformation discussions, bringing a perspective beyond the immediate needs of the function.
Communicate complex technology decisions and
tradeoffs clearly
to executive audiences and build strong partnerships across technology and business organizations.
People Leadership & Organizational Development
Lead, coach, and develop a global organization of managers, architects, and senior engineers.
Build a high performing leadership team with clear accountability, strong ownership, and the ability to
operate
independently.
Develop leaders capable of owning major technology domains and enterprise outcomes, creating organizational depth and succession readiness.
Continually evolve organizational structure, skills, roles, and sourcing models to support changing business and technology needs.
Build a culture centered on engineering excellence, accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and measurable outcomes.
Financial, Portfolio & Resource Management
Own financial planning, forecasting, investment prioritization, and resource allocation across the Core Infrastructure portfolio.
Make deliberate investment tradeoffs across transformation, lifecycle, technical debt, resilience, security, operational needs, and emerging capabilities.
Drive sustainable cost optimization and develop clear business cases for significant technology investments.
Manage strategic vendors, partners, and sourcing models to ensure performance, value, innovation, and alignment with SIE priorities.
Governance, Risk & Continuous Improvement
Establish appropriate governance, standards, and policies across Core Infrastructure while avoiding unnecessary process and operational overhead.
Identify
, communicate, and mitigate risks related to availability, security, scalability, lifecycle, capacity, and resilience.
Establish
and monitor meaningful service level
objectives
, availability targets, operational health measures, and business outcome metrics.
Use data to drive accountability, investment decisions, and continuous improvement.
Challenge existing processes and operating models where they create unnecessary complexity or limit speed, automation, or scalability.
Contribute to the continued evolution of the broader IT operating model and technology organization.
What we're looking for:
12+ years of experience across infrastructure engineering, enterprise technology, or related technology disciplines.
5+ years of experience managing managers and leading large, globally distributed technology teams.
Broad understanding of enterprise infrastructure and technology services, with deep
expertise
in one or more relevant domains and the ability to lead effectively across disciplines.

operating
and evolving large scale, business critical enterprise technology environments.
Demonstrated
experience leading significant technology, organizational, or operating model transformation across multiple teams or domains.
Experience developing managers and senior technical leaders and building leadership depth within an organization.
Demonstrated
ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead initiatives beyond direct organizational ownership in complex, matrixed organizations.
Experience building and executing multi-year strategies, roadmaps, investment plans, and operating models.
Strong financial and commercial acumen, including investment prioritization, vendor strategy, and cost optimization.
Ability to translate complex technology topics into clear business implications, decisions, and outcomes for executive audiences.

Location: Remote - Canada
We’re introducing Rust where correctness, performance, and reliability truly matter.
Narvar
is Growing! Narvar is a multi-language platform, and we’re intentional about where we apply Rust. We’re looking for senior engineers to help us
bring Rust into the backbone of the system
— the parts that must be fast, safe, and correct under real-world scale.
This role is for engineers who want agency: people who enjoy identifying the right problems, choosing the right tools, and owning systems end-to-end. You won’t be handed a narrow ticket queue. You’ll help decide
what
gets built and
how
it should be built.
For this role, you should be located in Canada and able to work within EST/EDT or PDT/PST hours. We are fully remote.
Day-to-day
Design and build
high-correctness Rust services
that sit on critical platform paths
Introduce Rust into areas where safety, determinism, and performance are essential
Own systems from
architecture → implementation → rollout → operations
Make real decisions around concurrency, async boundaries, data integrity, and failure modes
Work across service boundaries in a
polyglot environment
(Rust alongside other stacks)
Collaborate with product, design, and frontend engineers to build systems that are technically sound
and
product-aware
Improve reliability, observability, and system behavior through design, not just patching
Mentor other engineers and raise the bar on system quality and ownership
What We’re Looking For
We care more about
judgment and ownership
than credentials.
You’re likely a strong fit if you:
Have built and operated
distributed systems
in production
Have
deep hands-on Rust experience
(not just experiments or side projects)
Understand where Rust shines — and where it doesn’t
Are comfortable reasoning about
concurrency, async systems, and correctness guarantees
Have experience designing APIs and data contracts that evolve safely over time
Have worked with
relational and/or NoSQL databases
at scale
Have deployed and operated services in
AWS or GCP
(We are a GCP Shop though!)
Take initiative naturally and are comfortable operating with ambiguity
Communicate clearly and make tradeoffs explicit
Bonus Points
These aren’t hard requirements, but strong indicators:
You’ve worked in
startup or high-ownership environments
You’ve owned systems in production, including on-call responsibility
You’re comfortable moving across the stack when needed (backend-first, full-stack aware)
You’ve influenced architecture by earning trust, not by mandate
You use modern tooling (including AI-assisted workflows) to
increase leverage
, not outsource thinking
(Note: we care about outcome and judgment, not how flashy your tools are.)
Why Rust at Narvar?
Because some parts of the system deserve stronger guarantees.
We use Rust where:
Bugs are expensive
Latency and throughput matter
Safety and correctness are non-negotiable
You’ll help define
where Rust belongs
, not just write Rust in isolation.
Why Narvar (From an Engineer’s Perspective)?
Real scale, real customers, real impacts
Startup-level ownership with platform-level impact
Teams that value
thinking, judgment, and responsibility
Low ego, high trust, and room to do your best work
Why Narvar?
We're on a mission to simplify the everyday lives of consumers. Post-purchase is a critical phase of the customer journey. That's why we created Narvar - a platform focused on driving customer loyalty through seamless post-purchase experiences that allow retailers to retain, engage, and delight customers. If you thrive in a high-growth startup environment and want to help reshape how people shop across the Middle East, join us.
Role Overview
As a Senior Offensive Security Engineer (L5), you will own complex offensive security initiatives that span multiple teams. You will lead advanced penetration testing, red team exercises, and adversarial simulations to uncover systemic weaknesses in our web applications, APIs, mobile apps, cloud infrastructure, identity, payment-adjacent flows, and overall attack surface.
You will act as a
hands-on technical leader
: influencing secure design decisions with evidence, mentoring mid-level and junior offensive engineers, and driving improvements that meaningfully reduce risk.
Description
In this senior role, you will take end-to-end ownership of offensive security efforts with a focus on high-impact outcomes. Your responsibilities include:
Lead comprehensive penetration tests and red team / assumed-breach exercises targeting web applications, APIs, mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, and authentication systems (including identity and privileged-access paths).
Lead mobile offensive testing on Android and iOS, including evaluation and bypass/validation of runtime protection, tamper resistance, certificate pinning / Certificate Transparency, and key/secret shielding using DexProtector or similar RASP / app-shielding tools, plus complementary tooling such as MobSF.
Perform in-depth threat modeling and identify complex attack paths across services and trust boundaries (including authorization flaws, tenant isolation, token/session issues, edge/WAF bypass, and client-secret exposure).
Deliver high-quality security assessment reports with clear risk ratings, business impact analysis, practical remediation guidance, and evidence quality that engineering and audit stakeholders can use in a SOC 2 and PCI DSS context—then re-test and validate fixes before closure.
Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, Product, and the Security Engineer track to influence secure architecture decisions and ensure vulnerabilities are addressed at the root cause.
Develop and improve offensive security methodologies, tools, and automation to increase efficiency and coverage. AI-assisted testing is a must.
Mentor mid-level and junior offensive security engineers, conduct offensive-focused code/design reviews, and help raise the overall security capability of the team.
Participate in purple team exercises with the detection and incident response teams to improve defenses based on real attack simulations.
Stay at the forefront of offensive security research, emerging threats, and TTPs, and assess their relevance to Toters.
Contribute offensive input to security standards, policies, and secure development practices across the engineering organization (you advise; you do not own policy issuance or GRC evidence packs).
Support structured disclosure (VDP / researcher reports) through reproduce, rate, de-duplicate, and validate.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of hands-on experience in offensive security, penetration testing, or red teaming.
Strong expertise in web application, API, and mobile security testing (Android and iOS).
Working knowledge of DexProtector or similar mobile shielding / RASP tooling: what it protects, how testers evaluate residual risk, and how to validate that hardening holds.
Advanced proficiency with offensive security tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit, Cobalt Strike or equivalent adversary-emulation platforms, custom tooling, etc.).
Proficient in writing robust, reusable scripts and small tools for automation (Python preferred, Bash for quick tasks).
Solid experience with cloud security testing (AWS preferred) and infrastructure attack techniques.
Proven ability to lead complex security assessments from scoping to reporting and remediation validation.
Strong risk assessment and threat modeling skills, with the ability to communicate technical risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with SOC 2 and PCI DSS as they apply to offensive work (scoped pentests, application/API/payment-adjacent testing, evidence-quality reporting). This role does not own control design or audit evidence collection.
Experience mentoring engineers and influencing cross-team security practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

What the Role Is
Babylist serves nearly a million expectant parents every year through one of the most trusted registry experiences in the market. Wishlist is the next chapter — a product that keeps families connected to Babylist well beyond the newborn phase, giving parents of young children a simple, intelligent way to guide gift-giving for birthdays, holidays, and everything in between. This PM will own the product end-to-end: vision, roadmap, and execution. It sits within Babylist's consumer growth and LTV organization and reports to the Senior Director of Product. You'll run it like a general manager: accountable for the customer experience and the business it builds.
This is a multifaceted job. Be the best Staff PM your team has ever worked with: opinionated, customer-obsessed, outcome-owning, force-multiplying. And help Babylist make the transition into AI-native product development by modeling what an AI-native PM does every day — in your own work and in the standards you set for the team around you.
Who You Are
You've built something from 0 to 1
— a product, a company, or a line of business. You've lived the uncertainty, the false starts, and the iteration, and you don't need a playbook to get moving.
You have sharp product sense and judgment.
You know what's worth building and what isn't, what the right UX is, and what will delight users. You can point to shipped work that proves it - both features you added for a better experience and ones you cut for simplicity.
You think like a general manager, not a feature owner.
You understand how a business like Babylist makes money and which levers actually move it, and you make roadmap calls with the unit economics in mind.
You build engagement and growth loops.
You understand activation, retention, and the push/pull triggers that bring users back around moments that matter.
You're obsessed with customers.
You talk to users directly, synthesize fast, and let what you hear actually change what you build.
You can prioritize across a multi-sided product.
Parents want simplicity, kids have preferences, gift-givers need guidance. You weigh all three without defaulting to whoever's loudest.
You default to action in ambiguity
. Faced with an unclear problem, your instinct is to try something and learn quickly. People who've worked with you would say you just get things done.
You're comfortable getting hands-on when it's the fastest path to an answer
— light SQL, Figma, or AI-assisted prototyping to test an idea or unblock a decision — and you know when to hand off to a specialist instead.
You naturally reach for AI in your work
. At Babylist, every team uses AI daily. You're already using it to move faster and improve your output, and you stay curious about what's coming next. You also stand up working prototypes yourself, query the data and codebase directly, and contribute to code execution when that’s the most valuable use of your time.
You learn visibly and adapt.
The next 18 months won't look like the last. You reflect on what's working, change course when it isn't, and bring curiosity to ambiguity rather than anxiety. You're humble, low-ego, and work across team boundaries without waiting for permission.
How You Will Make An Impact
Make parents' lives easier by simplifying the answer to “what can I get your child for their birthday?”
Extend Babylist's relationship with parents from the 40 weeks of pregnancy into the 1,000 weeks of early childhood that follow.
Define and own the roadmap from today's MVP to a scalable, multi-sided gifting experience.
Discover the needs of your customers: parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and gift-givers.
Engage users during their most important moments: birthdays, holidays, and seasonal occasions
Set the outcome metrics for the product and own the results — what moved, why, and what's next.
Partner closely with engineering and design to run experiments and iterate fast, serving as the connective tissue between product, design, and engineering as the team grows.
Why This Role
You get access to nearly a million new parents per year from day one. Most founders spend years trying to acquire the audience this product already has.
This is a net-new line of business with no prior PM, meaning the roadmap, the team shape, and the definition of success are yours to establish.
There's a clear path to real revenue, and you'll be building something that matters to Babylist's long-term business.
Who We Are
Babylist is the leading platform for expecting and new families. More than 10 million people shop with Babylist every year, making it the go-to destination for seamless purchasing, guidance, and expert recommendations. As a modern, AI-forward tech company, Babylist has expanded from a universal registry into a full ecosystem — the Babylist Shop, Babylist Health, Babylist Money, NYC and LA showrooms, branded content, and more — generating $750M in revenue in 2025. Building the generational brand in baby, Babylist is reshaping the $235B kids and baby market and helping parents feel confident, connected, and cared for at every step.
Our Ways of Working
Babylist is remote-first with team members across the U.S. and Canada who move fast, think smart, and use AI as part of how they work every day — not as an experiment, as an expectation. We come together twice a year to build the relationships behind the work, and we hire people who are genuinely excited about what's possible and prove it through how they show up.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Software Engineer on Developer Velocity, you'll design and build the internal platform, tooling, and automation that lets every Render engineer move quickly and safely. You'll drive changes in our local development environments, CI/CD pipelines, test infrastructure, and the metrics we use to understand and improve how we ship. You'll work across the entire engineering org, identify where friction lives, and remove it, measurably.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Improve speed and reliability of early change feedback
- Invest in build and dependency tooling, caching, incremental builds, and monorepo ergonomics, to keep iteration tight as the codebase grows.
- Accelerate our CI/CD pipelines - cutting build, test, and deploy times while keeping the path to production safe and reversible.
- Make our test suites fast and trustworthy: parallelization, smart test selection, flaky-test detection, and better local/preview environments built on the same primitives our customers use.
- Design and build tools to support concurrent agent execution
- Make test feedback fast enough to live inside an agent's loop, where slow or flaky runs compound across every attempt.
- Get agents the right context (codebase conventions, service ownership, recent changes, environment state) so their first attempt lands closer to correct.
- Simplify and establish repeatable patterns
- Reduce toil through automation, paving over repetitive workflows and manual steps wherever they slow people down.
- Instrument the engineering org with meaningful signals (deployment frequency, lead time for changes, change failure rate, time to restore) and turn them into action.
- Build and participate in an on-call rotation as the team takes ownership of critical systems.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience building and operating developer-facing tooling, CI/CD systems, or internal platforms that other engineers depend on every day.
- Experience driving cultural and process changes to make engineering teams more effective.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and a track record of shipping, maintaining, and debugging production systems.
- Proficiency in Go (or a strong willingness to ramp quickly, it's our primary language).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (yup, Terraform).
- A bias toward measurement: you instrument what you build and let data tell you whether you actually made things faster.
- You empathize deeply with engineers, fixing developer pain points in an elegant and sustainable manner is something that resonates deeply with you.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience improving build systems, test infrastructure, or developer experience at meaningful scale - Bazel, Concourse, and GitHub workflows are old friends.
- Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Comfort working close to the metal - Linux, containers, kubernetes - you get your hands very dirty.
- Security-minded instincts, especially around supply chain and the path from commit to deploy.
- Understanding that the question isn't "AI pilled vs AI skeptic", but rather where to use it as an accelerant, and where human context must come first.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.
