ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Social at Ramp exists to make the company more visible, culturally relevant, and useful to the people we want to reach. We are looking for a highly strategic Social Media Lead to turn that ambition into an operating system.
Your central job is to build the strategy and operating system for Ramp social. You will bring a clear point of view, make the right calls about where and how Ramp shows up, and ensure our biggest moments have real distribution behind them. You will help more Ramp employees credibly tell the stories closest to their work. You may also be hands-on where it matters, but strategic leadership and operational ownership are what will define success in this role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Set Ramp’s social strategy, raise the creative bar, and focus the calendar on fewer, more consequential moments.
- Decide when Ramp, an employee, executive, creator, customer, or partner should lead the story, then build the right distribution plan around it.
- Help more Ramplings and executives post credibly about their work, with clear guidance, coaching, and amplification.
- Build a reliable approach to community management and social support, including the right contractor bench.
- Bring together producers, influencer, Brand, Comms, Growth, Support, and visibility teams to execute the highest-priority work.
- Establish a clear scorecard and use social insights to improve the work over time.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Ramp has a clear social point of view, distinct roles for each channel, and a calendar built around high-conviction moments rather than constant posting.
- The social function is a strategic driver of visibility and demand, not an internal posting service.
- Employees and executives have an easy, trusted way to share their work, and the strongest posts receive coordinated amplification.
- Product questions and customer issues found on social are handled with dependable ownership and follow-through.
- Social has data driven goals and learnings, including reach, awareness, demand, campaign lift, and market insights.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2+ years leading strategic social, or related marketing programs at a top-tier technology, consumer or media company.
- A demonstrated ability to build social strategy and the operating model behind it: prioritization, agency management, workflows, measurement, and executive alignment.
- Excellent editorial judgment and an instinct for what will feel credible and native on each platform, especially LinkedIn, X, Meta, YouTube, and emerging community channels.
- Comfort with performance and brand measurement, including how to distinguish correlation from impact and how to run disciplined tests.
HOW WE WORK
We make finance teams cool. That means taking ideas further, choosing fewer bets with more force, and creating work people genuinely want to talk about. We value sharp taste, clear thinking, generous collaboration, and the willingness to say no when a moment does not meet the bar.
Ramp is committed to supporting a diverse and inclusive workplace. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Notion has a very successful "land and expand" business model; our customers start using Notion for free, upgrade over time as they expand their teams, and embrace increasingly sophisticated use cases. Often, these users and champions are different than the person who has enterprise purchasing authority.
The Demand Generation team serves as a dot-connecter across sales, marketing, and operation teams to identify, engage, and convert decision makers at our target mid market and enterprise companies.
In this role, you will partner with demand generation teammates and sales stakeholders to ideate and execute in-person events, designed to help open, accelerate, and close business.
As a Field Marketing Manager, you will own and execute field events that are Notion-hosted, third party, co-partnered, and ancillary to third party events. This strategic position focuses on driving pipeline that meaningfully contribute to Notion's bottom line.
This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Delight Notion customers and prospects, with a guest-first approach to creating field events and experiences that bring the Notion brand and product to life.
- Own end-to-end planning, execution, and measurement of field programs to support our AMER Sales team - encompassing executive experiences, large-format educational events, trade shows, and co-sponsored activations with partners.
- Manage all event logistics, production, venue sourcing, budget tracking, marketing campaigns, sales enablement, content development, and audience acquisition.
- Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to make recommendations on how we invest in field events to drive incremental business impact.
- Partner closely with Sales and broader Marketing team to align events and audiences to objectives for top accounts and craft tailored programs that nurture those accounts
- Partner with our Operation and BizTech teams to manage and better utilize our go-to-market systems
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- 4-5+ years of related marketing experience.
- You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.
- You're a creative problem-solver who doesn't wait for a perfect playbook. You've built field events from scratch, and you're energized by figuring out what works in new territory.
- You have a bias for action and experimentation. You'd rather test and learn than wait for consensus, and you know how to balance scrappiness with strategic thinking.
- You're a strong cross-functional collaborator. You know how to work with sales, ops, and creative teams — and you can align people around a shared goal without needing authority to do it.
- You're pipeline-obsessed. You understand how your programs connect to revenue and can speak credibly about pipeline contribution, not just top-of-funnel metrics.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience in a fast-paced, B2B tech environment
- You're a Notion user and understand our value to businesses
- Salesforce, Marketo experience

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & ACCOMMODATIONS
We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. Notion is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. Notion considers qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state and local law. PlanetScale is growing rapidly and reinventing the transactional database market. The PlanetScale platform offers both Postgres and Vitess clusters. Vitess, an open-source database clustering system for horizontal scaling of MySQL, enables businesses to efficiently handle large-scale data workloads — without sacrificing developer experience.
PlanetScale is backed with over $100M in venture financing from top-tier VCs including a16z, Kleiner Perkins, SignalFire, and Insight Venture Partners. And we serve some of the most innovative companies in the world such as Block, Anysphere (Cursor), MyFitnessPal, Etsy, Kick, and thousands more. Our customers entrust us with what is often their most precious digital asset, their data, so the stakes couldn't be higher. We're looking for early members of our Sales team that can form deep partnerships with our prospects and customers to help them adopt and succeed on the next generation of database infrastructure.
We host the databases behind companies like Cash App, Intercom, and Cursor. In other words: important databases.
We’re hiring a dedicated outbound SDR. You won’t inherit a dusty playbook assembled in 2017 and be told to “just add personalization.” You’ll help us build an AI-native outbound motion from the ground up. You’ll work with modern tools, help create the playbook, and have input into how we build outbound from here. This role is for someone who wants to sell, experiment, automate repetitive work, and learn how great infrastructure companies go to market.
If that sounds exciting, and slightly intimidating, that’s probably a good sign!
What ‘s the job to be done?
Find promising companies that should be using PlanetScale, but aren’t yet.
Research their architecture, growth, and likely infrastructure problems.
Build creative outbound campaigns using tools like Claude and Clay.
Talk to engineers and technical leaders without immediately saying, “Let me bring in someone technical.”
Turn interest into real pipeline: a mapped buyer, an actual problem, and a reason to solve it now.
Help determine what works, what doesn’t, and what we should scale.
These attributes describe you.
You have 1+ year of quota-carrying SDR or BDR experience.
You’ve consistently hit your number.
You’re early in your career, ambitious, and learning quickly.
You already use AI to improve how you work—not just to rewrite emails with the word “delve.”
You can show us something you built with Claude, Clay, or another AI tool and explain how it made you better or faster.
When you encounter repetitive work, your first thought is, “Could a robot do this?”
You’re curious about databases, infrastructure, and how modern AI companies are built.
You actively seek feedback rather than treating it as a personal attack.
What you will need.
Not literal points. We do not have a leaderboard. But these will help:

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

About GiveDirectly in the DRC
GiveDirectly DRC was established in 2018 to enable cash transfers to poor and rural populations via mobile phones, thereby promoting food security, poverty reduction, and financial inclusion. We aimed to demonstrate the operational feasibility and cost-effectiveness of transferring large volumes of money digitally in one of the world's least developed countries. Since its inception four years ago, GiveDirectly DRC has used mobile phones to transfer over $14 million to more than 65,000 beneficiaries in four provinces: South Kivu, North Kivu, Ituri, and Kinshasa.
GiveDirectly's activities in the DRC have expanded to include, among other things: compelling proofs of concept for mobile-based cash transfers; and the implementation of innovative technologies to target disadvantaged urban populations in Kinshasa, in collaboration with the DRC's social protection agency, the DRC Social Fund. The delivery of contactless cash to beneficiaries in Beni and Bunia affected by the economic consequences of COVID-19. You will be joining Give Directly DRC at an exciting time in its history, as we are establishing and hope to launch several new programs and strengthen our partnership with the DRC government.
About the Role
As Senior Manager, Programs (DRC), you'll help bring GiveDirectly's programs in the Democratic Republic of Congo to life — owning their end-to-end execution, from operational design to on-the-ground delivery. You'll blend strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving: designing systems that work, catching risks before they escalate, and using data to drive continuous improvement. You'll also lead people, managing a team of managers and field staff, while partnering closely with the Program Director and Country Director to shape what comes next. It's a role for someone who's energized by both the big picture and the operational details that make it real.
What You’ll Do:
Develop detailed project management plans for all our programs and drive them through successful end-to-end execution
Design operational models for new programs — including targeting, payments, and customer service — and define, monitor, and report on key operational and efficiency indicators
Identify operational vulnerabilities, such as fraud or reputational risk, and implement mitigation solutions aligned with the risk framework set by the Program Director
Analyze program-level data to diagnose the causes of underperformance and drive continuous quality improvement
Partner with Tech and Data teams to design surveys and ensure data integrity in Salesforce
Directly manage a team of managers, with oversight of field teams and call centre at multiple levels
Support the Program Director and Country Director in scoping new programs, including operational feasibility and risk assessment.
Manage partner relationships with key operational partners with oversight of scoping, contracting and ensuring the terms of our agreements are respected.
Develop materials for engagement with donors and other external stakeholders in order to represent our work externally.
Requirements:
Minimum 6 years of experience managing and implementing programs within international NGOs or a comparable operational environment; experience in cash or money transfer programming is an asset
Work experience in the DRC, or strong knowledge of the DRC context, is highly desirable
Experience in team management, including recruitment, team building, and development
Strong analytical thinking, with a proven ability to use data to identify problems and improve programs
Experience using technology and digital tools to drive results and operational innovation
Proven instinct for risk management and creative problem-solving in complex operational environments
A high degree of autonomy and resilience, with the ability to thrive in a fragile, rapidly changing environment
Strong alignment with
GiveDirectly's values
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate fluently in English and French with high level stakeholders
Professional proficiency in French and English required; knowledge of Congolese Swahili and/or Lingala is an asset
Compensation
At GiveDirectly, we strive to pay our employees generously and equitably. We use an accredited third party salary aggregator to calculate what we believe to be competitive pay based on role, location, and cost of living. We also have a no negotiation policy to ensure we are paying staff equitably across roles. Read more about our compensation philosophy

Base Salary:
$94,500

Estimated Total Compensation at Target: $103,950+
This role is onsite in Goma, DRC. We welcome candidates based in the DRC as well as those willing to relocate to be based in the DRC.

Product engineering at Descript means owning outcomes, not just tickets — you'll take a problem from a rough idea to a shipped, measured result, working closely with product, design, and the rest of engineering along the way. We organize around a few teams, each responsible for a distinct part of the product:
Editor:
owns our video editor. Help make traditionally complex video-editing workflows simpler, craft cutting-edge AI into practical creative tools, and build on our vision of turning a text-editor for video into a tool that puts video in everyone's communication toolkit.
Growth & Monetization:
owns onboarding and activation, growth loops and in-product experiments, plans and pricing, checkout, billing, and AI credits. Help turn visitors into customers and customers into revenue.
Media:
owns project and media management (plus importing, managing, manipulating, compositing, transitions, shaders, visual and audio effects, rendering, exporting, and more!).
AI:
owns our agentic co-editor, Underlord, and the external API that allows it to scale. Help improve Underlord's harness to enhance its powers, polish its UX and editor integration, and add more capability to our API to unleash Underlord on the world.
Regardless of your team you’ll have the opportunity to design thoughtful full-stack systems that work reliably and deliver value to new and existing users.
What You’ll Do
Own meaningful product surfaces end to end.
Take problems from definition through design, implementation, launch, measurement, and maintenance. Improve core Editor workflows, shape the self-serve journey from signup through renewal, or help make Underlord more sentient.
Shape the product, not just the implementation.
Partner with Product and Design to propose better interactions, expose constraints, choose the right metrics, and find simpler paths to user outcomes.
Build ambitious full-stack systems with care.
Create responsive, reliable experiences. Stretch from TypeScript and React to NodeJS and Temporal to first and third party integrations to get the job done.
Improve how the team learns and ships.
Form hypotheses, instrument your work, release incrementally, and read results honestly. Strengthen the tooling, standards, tests, observability, and release practices that help the team move quickly without compromising quality.
Raise the team’s technical ambition.
Provide architectural direction, thoughtful reviews, mentoring, and clear human writing.
What You Bring
Required:
You have 5+ years of experience building and shipping customer-facing products, including end-to-end features that measurably improved user or business outcomes.
You effectively leverage agents to multiply your impact and think critically about how to better harness AI in your work.
You’ve owned features/experiments end to end, from planning through launch, and leveraged analytics and metrics to evaluate impact.
You orient quickly in unfamiliar systems by exploring and asking thoughtful questions to both your teammates and agents.
You care about how software feels and notice when the technically correct result is still wrong for the user.
You create clarity in ambiguous work and can navigate (and simplify!) significant product and technical complexity.
You validate your work rigorously through focused reproductions, logs, tests, and other evidence rather than trusting that the output looks right.
Experience that helps:
Similar Products:
Work on an editor, media product, creative tool, or payment system (like Stripe).
Our Stack:
TypeScript, HTML/CSS, React, Redux, Node.js, API design, Temporal Workflows, and SQL. But we obviously live in a post stack world. We just rewrote our media engine in Rust. None of us knows Rust.
Crafting with AI:
Building an agent or experimenting with media-generation models.
Experimentation/Analytics Experience:
We like people who know how to measure their success through experimentation and product analytics.
Intricacies of Video:
Shaders, graphics rendering, audio/visual effects, and media formats.
Descript is a startup. We're especially interested in working with engineers who use the product and are aligned with our mission. To that end, we promise to review any application that includes a share link to a Descript video. The video can be about anything - your career, a favorite game or movie, a discarded audition tape for Love Island. If you take the time to make something in Descript, we'll commit to having a human watch it and review your application. 🤝
Compensation and benefits
Base salary range: $200,000-$275,000, plus equity and benefits. Final offer amounts will carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location, and level, and may vary from the amount above.

ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.
Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.
ABOUT MODAL DESIGN:
Modal is building the future of serverless computing, and the brand that carries that story is still taking shape. You’ll join Modal’s newly formed Brand team inside our design org as one of its first senior hires, working directly with the Director of Brand Design and Head of Design to build a brand developers recognize instantly and remember.
THE ROLE:
As a staff-level Brand Designer, you will have major influence over every brand surface: the marketing website, campaigns, events, editorial projects like the GPU Glossary https://modal.com/gpu-glossary and forthcoming publications, and out-of-home work as we scale into larger formats. You’ll also be a beacon to external agencies, representing Modal’s internal creative voice and making sure the work translates into a system we can actually build on. And as the studio grows, you’ll help set its craft standard, guiding and mentoring earlier-career designers and shaping how we critique, ship, and show work.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Define and evolve Modal’s visual identity across web, marketing, campaigns, and editorial, building a cohesive, distinctive system rather than one-off assets
- Lead concept and execution for brand campaigns across digital and out-of-home, from paid social to large-format outdoor, ensuring the work is consistent, distinctive, and built to perform
- Own branded experiences for events and GTM: environments, collateral, swag, and conference presence that feel unmistakably Modal
- Help codify the brand as it matures: design language, principles, and the rules that hold it together
- Mentor and critique the work of other designers, helping the studio’s output stay coherent and ambitious as it scales
- Move quickly without sacrificing quality
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You have 7+ years of brand design experience building brands for technically complex products (developer tools, infrastructure, or AI), and you know how to make something deeply technical feel compelling and clear
- You have high influence and low ego: you work well with others, share credit freely, and act as a force for positivity within the brand team
- You have a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional typography, color, composition, and a recognizable point of view
- You’ve designed brand systems that extend from identity to motion to web (the more the better)
- You can interpret and contribute to brand strategy
- You take ownership seriously: you drive work to completion, raise the quality bar, and build structures that let others do the same
- You have strong taste and the ability to defend it: you have opinions, back them up, and take feedback well

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
We're an agile, globally distributed talent acquisition team with the creativity, expertise and ambition to revolutionize talent attraction — built around productivity and a 6-star candidate experience. Our norms are direct, our decisions are fast, and we expect people to operate without scaffolding.
This role sits in the Talent team and runs as a Payward-wide shared service across Payward, NinjaTrader, Reap and future acquisitions. It reports to our Global Head of Talent Acquisition with a dotted line to our Chief People Officer.
Executive recruiting here is its own discipline — smaller rooms, higher stakes, the same directness and speed we expect everywhere else. Discretion is part of the craft: this hire will handle confidential searches, sensitive succession conversations and market intelligence that never leaves the room, and will be trusted to hold all of it. They'll work directly with our Board, C-Suite and broader Payward leadership team on a daily basis.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Own executive recruiting end to end across the Payward platform spanning C-level, Board, VP+ and bespoke Advisor mandates.
- Partner directly with the Co-CEOs and the executive team on the searches that matter most, absorbing their pace and operating as a trusted advisor.
- Run board and advisory mandates with the discretion they require. Confidentiality here is structural, not a preference.
- Define how executive hiring scales as a shared service across a growing, multi-brand platform.
- Own the external search partner strategy: managing relationships with key retained firms, and ensuring seamless partnership if and when they are engaged.
- Report to the Head of Talent and operate as a member of the talent leadership team, with a dotted line into the Chief People Officer.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 6+ years of executive recruiting experience, with demonstrable ownership of executive searches (VP, C-level, Board) from mandate through close.
- A selection mindset over a screening one. You calibrate candidates against business strategy and can defend a shortlist to a skeptical executive audience.
- Closing and negotiation strength at executive level: pre-closing, offer construction, equity and comp complexity.
- Experience partnering closely with Compensation & Benefits and the HR business partners to ensure full alignment throughout a search lifecycle.
- Business acumen to understand and pitch a complex platform business credibly. Executive candidates buy the thesis, not the job spec.
- Proven agency and retained-firm management — briefing, accountability and spend control.
- Exceptional written and verbal English at executive register.
- Discretion by default, with a track record of executive searches quietly.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, with responsiveness to candidates and executives across all time zones.
- Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, given the proximity this role requires to our executives and to board and advisory mandates.
NICE TO HAVES
- In-house executive recruiting experience at a fintech, brokerage, exchange or payments company.
- Background inside a retained executive search firm, in addition to in-house work.
- Experience building executive recruiting as a shared service across multiple entities, or across multiple portfolio companies
- Exposure to crypto or digital assets.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.
As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Product Engineer to join our team and help us build cutting-edge, AI-powered video creation and collaboration tools. Rather than specialists, we’re seeking curiosity-driven engineers who are thoughtful problem solvers and thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments. Our engineering team is highly collaborative and works on a wide variety of exciting challenges, including developing new interfaces for AI content creation, building LLM-powered features and conversational experiences, and deploying cutting-edge computer vision and generative models to production.
A PEEK AT OUR TECHNICAL STACK
The rich UI of our generative AI tools is powered by TypeScript and React with MediaBunny driving in-browser media and React Flow powering our node-based creative workflows. Our API endpoints for user and media management are written in TypeScript and Node.js and deployed as containerized services on AWS ECS Fargate. We leverage AI APIs to power advanced generative capabilities.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Create rich multimedia interfaces using the cutting-edge of the latest AI video generation models Gen-4.5 and Aleph 2.0
- Build end-to-end full-stack AI-powered product features — designing and developing both frontend experiences and backend systems, including authoring server-side processes and APIs that power our generative AI tools
- Design and implement LLM-powered features and conversational interfaces
- Partner with a world-class engineering team pushing the boundaries of creativity and content creation on the browser
- Take on new challenges across the Frontend stack to implement product features for Runway’s machine learning-based generative AI tools
- Improve the performance, reliability, and code quality of our codebases
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 5+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role, ideally full-stack focused
- Demonstrated fluency in one or more programming languages, including but not limited to JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience building with third-party AI APIs (e.g., chatbots, LLM integrations)
- Experience in architecting production-ready systems and familiarity with debugging and profiling tools
- Ability to rapidly prototype solutions and iterate on them with tight product deadlines
- Humility and open-mindedness; at Runway, we love to learn from one another
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.
