An overview of this role
As a Customer Success Architect, you'll serve as a trusted strategic advisor and technical authority to some of GitLab's most complex and high-value Enterprise and Government customers across Japan. In this role, you will be driving and shaping how our largest customers adopt GitLab's intelligent DevSecOps platform to achieve their business goals and realise meaningful, long-term outcomes. You will be working closely with customers after the sale to turn pre-sales command plans into clear success plans, guide them through their customer journey, and drive adoption, utilization, and technical maturity. You will also be directly influencing renewal and expansion decisions through your post-sales engagements with executive-level decision makers in the account.
This is a individual-contributor role for someone who has already led pre or post sales customer engagements in large complex accounts across multiple industry domains to drive quantifiable business outcomes..The individual is comfortable operating with ambiguity, and can credibly advise VP- and C-level stakeholders on business transformation, application modernization, platform strategy, architecture, and organizational DevSecOps transformation. You'll also be shaping playbooks and best practices, and acting as an escalation point for the team's most technically or politically complex situations.
Reporting into the APJ Customer Success organization, you'll own a portfolio of GitLab's most strategic enterprise and Government accounts, act as the executive-level technical liaison for these accounts, and drive cross-functional resolution of their highest-priority issues — coordinating and, where needed, directing the efforts of Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Professional Services, and Support. You'll bring deep technical expertise in CI/CD, cloud platforms, multi-cloud, hybrid architecture and enterprise DevSecOps practices.You will use that expertise to shape customers' long-term platform strategy, apply best practices, configure GitLab for their environments and stay current with platform capabilities. In your first year, success will look like establishing yourself as the trusted senior advisor across a portfolio of flagship accounts, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, materially improving and increasing platform maturity, leading retention and renewal conversations, increasing customer satisfaction across your portfolio and contributing to the broader CSA team's technical standards and ways of working.
Some examples of our projects:
Turning pre-sales command plans into measurable customer success plans that align technical adoption with business outcomes
Leading and driving the technical strategy behind a large-scale DevSecOps platform consolidation for a regulated Enterprise account or Government, including guiding enterprise customers on GitLab best practices across CI/CD, DevSecOps, cloud architecture, TCO, applying compliance and architecture as well as business case presentations to customer executives
Owning end-to-end resolution of a critical, multi-team escalation for a flagship account — driving root cause analysis, coordinating Engineering/Product/Support, and personally briefing customer executives on remediation

GoMining is looking for a Senior Revenue Operations Manager to become the right hand of our commercial lead. You will share ownership of the commercial agenda: improve how our digital acquisition channels perform, grow revenue from our existing customer base, and build the processes and infrastructure that help the commercial team scale.
This is not a direct sales role, and it is not a purely high-level one either. We need someone who understands sales from the inside and can analyze data to find growth points. You should come with your own ideas and see them through to results without needing step-by-step guidance.
Responsibilities
Digital Acquisition & Sales Performance
Drive commercial performance across 7 digital customer acquisition channels together with channel owners and General Managers.
Run regular performance reviews, comparing actuals to targets and identifying the drivers behind deviations.
Identify revenue leakage across the funnel and prioritize the highest-impact opportunities.
Improve first-purchase conversion and overall acquisition efficiency, including the effectiveness of our traffic spend.
Analyze payment success rates and payment method coverage by market, and work with relevant teams to remove payment-related conversion barriers (e.g., adding local payment methods).
Retention & Customer Base Growth
Drive retention of existing customers and reactivation of the inactive customer base.
Build a customer-centric model in which existing customers adopt second and third GoMining products, together with General Managers.
Develop cross-product and cross-sell opportunities based on customer behavior and product usage.
Identify how ecosystem products can drive additional mining and TH sales.
Funnel Optimization & Experimentation
Map the end-to-end customer journey, from acquisition to first and repeat purchase.
Identify bottlenecks and launch experiments across acquisition, onboarding, checkout, and payment flows.
Define hypotheses, expected commercial impact, and success metrics for each experiment.
Measure experiment results and scale successful initiatives across channels.
Commercial Processes & Infrastructure
Build and standardize commercial processes together with the commercial lead: plans, strategies, control tools, and team motivation.
Own the end-to-end CRM rollout: finalize required functionality, test it, migrate all teams into a single system, set deadlines, and create training for team leads and their teams.
Establish the CRM as the single source of truth for commercial data.
Take over part of the commercial lead’s responsibilities and represent the commercial function in discussions with stakeholders when needed.
Commercial Analytics
Monitor conversion, payment success, revenue, acquisition efficiency, retention, and other key commercial metrics.
Dig into the data to understand why metrics change (e.g., a drop in the share of paying users in a channel), and turn findings into specific actions for channel and product owners.
Work closely with Analytics, Product, Marketing, Payments, and Finance teams to improve commercial performance.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Operations, Growth, or Digital Sales.
Hands-on sales or sales management background: you understand how sales teams work from the inside.
Experience in fintech, payments, or other transaction-driven digital businesses.
Strong understanding of funnel performance and commercial metrics: conversion, CAC, LTV, retention, and unit economics.
Experience with retention, reactivation, or cross-sell / upsell initiatives.
Experience building and standardizing commercial processes; CRM implementation or rollout experience is a strong plus.
Analytical and critical thinking: you can open a report, spot a problem, and find its root cause.
A proactive, independent mindset: you bring ideas, take ownership, and move fast.
Fluent Russian and English (spoken and written).
Nice to Have
Experience in crypto, Bitcoin mining, Web3, or digital assets.
Experience managing or optimizing paid traffic and acquisition channels.
Knowledge of payment methods and payment flow optimization, including local payment methods in emerging markets.
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
Ability to build dashboards and analyses yourself, including with AI tools.
Benefits
Professional growth: support for courses, conferences, and English learning (up to 100% coverage).
Work-life fit: remote or hybrid format with flexible hours across international teams.
Paid leave: up to 20 vacation days + 8 company holidays + 5 personal days per year.
Recognition programs: structured performance reviews and team awards.
Team culture: retreats in international locations (for example, company apartments in Cyprus).
Location: Vietnam; Armenia; Poland; Georgia; Thailand; Serbia
Job responsibilities
Develop end-to-end monitoring for all infrastructure stacks, including Trino, Kubernetes, databases, and
Big Data
(Apache Ozone and Hadoop);
Implement automatic collection of DORA metrics and create high-level health dashboards to visualize service uptime;
Audit current metrics and address gaps in infrastructure monitoring, particularly in K8s, databases, and distributed storage systems;
Optimize and update Alertmanager rules to intercept incidents and anomalies before they impact users or are manually detected;
Serve as a single point of expertise in monitoring to free team leads from routine dashboard configuration and alerting support tasks.
Requirements
Experience from 3 years as Devops/SRE and from 5 years in IT, experience as an SRE or monitoring engineer with an emphasis on infrastructure reliability rather than product feature development;
Experience with Python (Go/JS as a plus);
Deep knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager, including writing complex PromQL queries and addressing alert fatigue;
Practical understanding of SLI/SLO/SLA concepts, error budgets, and the methodology for collecting DORA metrics;
Experience with containerization (Kubernetes) and databases, as well as the ability to quickly grasp metrics of distributed systems (Hadoop, Trino);
Ability to translate abstract system behaviors and logs into clear, structured, and actionable metrics;
Experience working with ClickHouse, Vertica, StarRocks, or Greenplum.
Benefits
We offer a fully flexible work schedule — there’s no pressure to start work at exactly 9:00 AM; what matters is achieving results and moving forward;
Each person in our team is encouraged to choose their preferred work format. You can work fully remotely, come to the office, or choose a hybrid work model;
We are an ambitious and supportive team who love what they do, appreciate each other, and grow together;
The growth and development of each employee is our priority, so we have internal programs available for adaptation and training, development of soft skills and leadership abilities that are tailored individually to each employee;
We also provide partial compensation for employees participating in external training and conferences;
In tourism, it's difficult to grow without an excellent knowledge of English, and we support our employees' language learning goals — we organize group and individual lessons, plus speaking clubs with colleagues from all over the world;
And, of course, to encourage you to travel more, we offer corporate prices on hotels and other travel services;
We provide MyTime Day Off — an extra day off that is designed to give our employees the flexibility to focus on important matters, whether it’s taking care of their health, mental recharge, addressing personal issues, or any other important activities.

_______________________________________________________________________
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Set technical direction for core systems powering the AI Gateway 0 the model router, MCP gateway, and control plane - and make sure architectural decisions hold up as usage scales by 10x
- Consistently identify gaps in our infrastructure, process, or tooling before they become blockers, and drive the fix from idea to production
- Take a significant, hands-on role in defining, delivering, and implementing the Gateway's technical strategy, in close partnership with engineering leadership
- Own the hardest, highest-ambiguity problems in the system: dynamic model selection, auto-failover, cost-based routing, and policy enforcement that has to work end-to-end
- Act as the go-to expert for secure credential storage, session summarization, caching, and rate limiting - the capabilities everything else depends on
- Build the infrastructure that lets us, and our customers, evaluate, replay, and backtest agent and LLM behavior with confidence
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, and raise the technical bar for the team through code, design review, and example
- Partner with product, design, and leadership to shape not just what the control plane UI does, but where the product goes next
KEY PROBLEMS YOU’LL HELP SOLVE
- Define the unified abstraction layer across diverse model and tool providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, AWS Bedrock) that the rest of the org builds on
- Architect secure, scalable identity and credential vaulting for tool and model access, trusted enough to run at enterprise scale
- Build the infrastructure for real-time and historical analytics of AI agent behavior that leadership and customers both rely on
- Guarantee that policy enforcement and logging work end-to-end - from prompt to tool to response - with no gaps an auditor (or attacker) could find
- Set the bar for developer experience through intuitive APIs and first-class observability

We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
WHY THIS ROLE?
This role is for a highly experienced Back-End Software Engineer who wants to work on core systems that shape how the platform (Model Vault) operates. You will help define the architecture of the platform where reliability, security, performance, and simplicity all matter, and where many of the problems do not have off-the-shelf solutions.
Model Vault is Cohere’s inference platform for deploying and operating models securely at enterprise scale. The team owns the systems between a customer and the underlying AI infrastructure, including identity, deployments, metering, billing, security, privacy, and confidential computing. We are strengthening these systems as Model Vault grows, with the goal of scaling to millions of users and supporting some of the world’s most demanding enterprise workloads.
AS A SENIOR/STAFF SOFTWARE ENGINEER, YOU WILL:
- Evolve and scale the backend systems that power Model Vault, including authentication and authorization, deployment management, billing, metering, and customer lifecycle.
- Lead major architectural initiatives across identity, payments, usage systems, platform scalability, and other core product foundations.
- Build highly reliable control-plane services for provisioning, configuring, scaling, and operating model deployments across clouds and hardware platforms.
- Design APIs and distributed systems with strong guarantees around correctness, consistency, isolation, failure recovery, idempotency, and observability.
- Build security and privacy into the platform architecture, including tenant isolation, least-privilege access, auditability, secrets management, encryption, and confidential computing boundaries.
- Solve complex problems that span backend systems, cloud infrastructure, security, and AI inference, where conventional SaaS patterns are often not enough.
- Drive projects end-to-end, from architecture and threat modeling through implementation, rollout, production operations, and iteration based on real customer workloads.
YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF:
- You are a strong backend engineer with excellent fundamentals in distributed systems, databases, networking, operating systems, and security.
- You have strong programming fundamentals and experience building production systems in languages such as Go, Python, Java, C++, Rust, or similar. You write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and make thoughtful tradeoffs between simplicity, performance, and correctness.
- You have designed and operated production systems where correctness, availability, security, and performance mattered at significant scale.
- You can take ambiguous, high-impact technical problems, define the right architecture, and drive them through to reliable production systems.
- You have strong systems-design instincts and understand concepts such as concurrency, consistency, caching, queues, rate limiting, backpressure, failure domains, idempotency, and graceful degradation.
- You think deeply about security boundaries and understand authentication, authorization, identity, cryptography, secrets, tenant isolation, and how small implementation choices can create significant security risks.
- You are comfortable reasoning across backend services, APIs, databases, distributed systems, and the cloud infrastructure they run on.
- You are comfortable diving into unfamiliar codebases and debugging complex problems that cross service or system boundaries.
- You care about the details of production engineering, including instrumentation, capacity planning, migrations, backwards compatibility, incident response, and safe rollouts.
- You are comfortable challenging existing architecture and evolving foundational components when the system’s needs change.
- You have a track record of taking technically difficult projects from an unclear starting point to systems that other engineers and customers depend on.
FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AT COHERE ENJOY THESE PERKS:
- A weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or equivalent in your local currency for lunch.

About the Role
At Playson, we work with a deliberately small team of people who own what they do. This role follows that model. You’ll ensure our presence at the industry’s biggest international exhibitions, organise our signature Playson&Friends parties, and the exclusive experiences we create for our closest partners. Here, one person’s ownership makes a visible difference. You’ll have real autonomy, direct access to decision-makers, and a brand that cares about quality in everything it puts its name on.
We’re looking for someone who takes a complex project with dozens of moving parts and closes it end to end: budget, vendors, logistics, brand, guests, and the details nobody else noticed. Our clients come to expect the same standard from our events as from our games, and that standard is quality.
Key Responsibilities
International exhibitions and industry events
- Participation at major iGaming events such as ICE, SiGMA and SBC. This runs from strategy and budget through booth design and build to on-site delivery and post-event review.
- Negotiating with organisers, agencies and suppliers to get high-quality delivery within budget, and taking responsibility for both.
Client experiences
- Planning and producing Playson&Friends parties, our signature events where partners come together to celebrate and connect.
- Designing and delivering high-end experiences and one-of-a-kind moments for small groups of key clients.
- Handling every aspect: concept, venues, travel, hospitality, safety, timing and guest experience. Ensuring each experience feels effortless for the guest and reflects Playson’s brand.
Branded client hampers and promotional gifting
- Partnering with Account Managers to turn their promotional initiatives into branded and themed client hampers, including concept, sourcing, production, personalisation and international delivery.
- Building a reliable supplier network and a process that can deliver consistent quality at scale and on short notice.
Requirements
- 3+ years in event management, client hospitality or BTL marketing, ideally in iGaming, tech or entertainment.
- A proven track record of delivering complex international projects end to end, with personal accountability for the outcome. We’ll ask you for examples.
- The ability to manage several large projects at once and stay calm and decisive when plans change on-site.
- Experience producing premium, high-touch experiences for VIP or key-account audiences.
- Strong budget management and confident negotiation with suppliers and agencies.
- A creative eye, strong taste and close attention to brand consistency.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of the global iGaming landscape and events ecosystem is a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
What we Offer
- Benefit from a transparent and systematic quarterly bonus system.
- We offer a flexible work schedule to accommodate your needs.
- Choose to work remotely, providing greater flexibility and comfort.
- Enjoy unlimited paid vacation leave, including bank holidays.
- Take unlimited paid sick leave whenever necessary.
- Get reimbursement for professional development courses and training. We provide access to the latest tools and training for continuous growth.

ABOUT SUPABASE
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Supabase manages millions of Postgres instances and is growing. We have strong teams across observability, release engineering, and incident management — and we're concentrating our reliability efforts into a dedicated SRE practice that ties the discipline together across the platform.
You'll be embedded within Service Operations, and your primary job is to make every engineering team more reliable — not by owning their infrastructure, but by establishing the practices, frameworks, and feedback loops that let them own reliability themselves. You'll work across the org: sometimes setting the standard, sometimes pair-programming a fix, sometimes helping a team define their error budget, sometimes telling them it's exhausted.
This role is ideal for someone who has a strong vision for how SRE should work and thrives in async, fast-paced environments where influence matters more than authority.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Partner with service teams to define meaningful SLIs and SLOs grounded in customer experience, and build the error budget policies that turn them into engineering decisions
- Own and evolve the Operational Readiness Review (ORR) process — conducting reviews for new services and major changes across observability, alerting, runbooks, capacity, and graceful degradation
- Strengthen the incident-to-improvement pipeline: connecting postmortem findings to operational readiness gaps, identifying repeat failure patterns, and driving systemic fixes
- Act as the reliability expert teams pull in for architecture reviews, failure mode analysis, dependency mapping, and resilience design
- Identify and quantify operational toil across the org, and build or advocate for automation that eliminates it
- Help teams design sustainable on-call practices: alert quality, escalation paths, runbook coverage, and noise reduction
- Track and report on org-wide operational maturity, surfacing systemic gaps and driving remediation
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
- Have 7+ years of experience in SRE, production engineering, or reliability-focused roles, including experience shaping SRE practices and driving adoption across engineering teams
- Have a software engineering mindset — you write code and build tools, not just configure them
- Have hands-on experience defining and operationalizing SLOs/SLIs at scale, including error budget policies that actually influenced engineering decisions
- Have deep experience with incident response, postmortem facilitation, and turning incident learnings into systemic improvements
- Have worked with large-scale multi-tenant systems (bonus: managed database platforms or Postgres)
- Are proficient with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and infrastructure-as-code (Pulumi preferred, Terraform/CDK also acceptable)
- Communicate clearly and persuasively — this role requires influencing without authority across a distributed org
- Have experience in async or globally distributed teams
- Are energized by making other teams more effective rather than being the one who fixes everything
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Kubernetes-based platform operations
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, or similar observability tooling
- Experience building developer-facing reliability tooling (SLO dashboards, ORR frameworks, toil tracking, DORA metrics)
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.
- ESOP
Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together.
- Tech Allowance
Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work.
- Health Benefits
Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us.
- Annual Off-Sites
Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year.
- Flexible Work
We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when.
- Professional Development
Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. We believe our globally distributed team is our secret weapon in building tools developers love.
- ~400 team members
- 60+ countries
- 20+ languages spoken
- Over $1B raised (including our $500M Series F)
- 540,000+ community members
We move fast, build in public, and use what we ship. If it’s in your project, we probably use it in ours too. We believe deeply in the open-source ecosystem and strive to support—not replace—existing tools and communities.

Workplace: Hybrid
OUR STORY:
Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.
Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Taxfix builds more products for more customer segments, faster than before. As Senior Product Marketing Manager, you are the go-to-market partner embedded into a product team, from the first discovery conversation to scaling. You’re not just handed a final product to talk about it. You bring customer, market and competitive evidence into the decisions that shape what gets built from day one: which segments to target, what features to prioritize, how to create Aha moments. You influence what the product does, how it wins and whether people will pay. You also build the systems that keep this work running: from automated competitor and customer insights generation, to agentic workflows that let product teams run smaller launches themselves at high quality.
You work closely with Product, Engineering, Commercial, Growth Marketing and Paid Acquisition.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Taking one (or many) of our big bets to market. With high level of responsibility, autonomy and direct support from senior leaders and domain experts, you will help us launch assisted and AI-native experiences that customers truly love.
- Bring the market into product decisions. Turn customer, market and competitive evidence into clear recommendations for the product team. Join discovery work and design sprints where market specifics shape what gets built.
- Choose who to serve, and who not to. Break users and products down into needs, pains, and functional and emotional value. Define sharp ICPs and decide which segment to win first and later.
- Position the product to win. Define the competitive alternatives, what makes the product different and why it wins. Turn that into a sharp messaging and shape the pricing and packaging inputs.
- Run launches as tests. Run lean tests early, report what the measures show, and adapt the product, the positioning and the go-to-market. You gather evidence that improves our GTM decision quality, not tick off a launch checklist.
- Align the people around the work. Bring structure to complex go-to-market work: clear owners, milestones, decision points and success measures. Facilitate decisions across Product, Engineering, Data, Growth and commercial teams.
- Build the insight engine. Replace ad hoc research with automated flows of competitor and customer insight that product and marketing teams use every week.
- Own part of the context system. Turn each go-to-market decision and artifact into governed context that empowers people and agents alike.
- Build with AI. Build your own prototypes, applets and automations for the opportunities you prioritize, and help product teams self-serve lower-tier launches at quality.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years of bringing tech products to market. You have successfully taken complex products or features from discovery to launch and adoption, in a fast-paced environment.
- Data- and evidence-driven over opinion. You set clear targets, success definitions and guardrails. You analyze data and derive actionable next steps. When evidence contradicts the plan, you say so, including to senior stakeholders.
- Customer insight and craft. You stay close enough to users to quote them. You turn what they said into why they behave as they do, and into a narrative people remember.
- AI as a builder. You build agents, automated workflows, prototypes and context towards clear milestones or outcomes.
- Communication and project leadership. You write and speak with precision, align several teams at once and keep many moving pieces on track.
- High agency and curiosity. You find the problem and solve it without waiting to be told, and you carry it like an owner.
- Bias for action. You prioritize speed of learning and progress over perfection.
- English and German. You use German to write customer-facing messaging and English to work with the wider team.
WHY TAXFIX?
- A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.
- Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions.
- A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like.
- Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create.
- 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours.
- A generous learning budget to support your personal and professional development and guidance from our internal L&D experts.
- Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip.
- Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible.
- Free tax declaration filing, of course, through the Taxfix app—and internal support for all personal tax-related questions.
- Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office.
Excited? So are we. Check out our Life at Taxfix https://www.linkedin.com/company/taxfix/life/8684512c-424f-44de-8d07-6e6b516e3319/?viewAsMember=true page on LinkedIn to get a glimpse of our culture.
At Taxfix, we believe that incredible things happen when you have a wealth of perspectives and experiences. We're proudly committed to equal employment and development opportunities no matter your gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, colour, disability, or place of origin. To help mitigate any potential unconscious biases, we ask that you refrain from including your picture, age, or marital status on your CV. Let your experiences speak for themselves.
Not sure if you meet all the requirements for this role? Please apply anyway. You might bring something special to the team that we hadn't considered previously.
Location: US: San Mateo (1875 South Grant Street); CAN: Toronto (111 Richmond Street West); CAN: Vancouver (333 Seymour St); US: Washington Remote Worker
Workplace: Hybrid
Team: Accounting Core
Location / work arrangement: San Francisco, San Mateo, Seattle & Vancouver (Canada)
Employment type: Full Time
About the Role
Xero’s ledger is the source of truth for millions of businesses, and every product we ship is built on top of it. We are rebuilding this integrity layer for the next 20 years, and we are standing up the Vancouver engineering hub around it from day one. As Lead Engineer, you will make the architectural decisions that set the course for the platform and the team, and you will see those decisions reach every customer who depends on Xero to get their numbers right.
THE TECHNICAL CHALLENGES
- Correctness at scale. Accounting data has to be consistent, auditable, and immutable. There is no “close enough,” and every change to the ledger has to preserve that guarantee across regions and regulations.
- Evolving a mature system. We are adding real-time expectations to a platform that millions of businesses depend on daily. That means strengthening service boundaries and clarifying data contracts without compromising reliability.
- Durable, high-throughput services. We use durable execution (for example, Temporal) to keep long-running financial workflows accurate and recoverable under load.
- AI-ready data. We are structuring accounting data so it can power AI-native experiences while maintaining trust in the numbers.
IMPACT
- First six months: You understand the ledger and its consumers, align the team on service boundaries and data contracts, and ship a first modernization increment with no loss of data integrity.
- First twelve months:
- You have set the architecture for the core accounting capabilities (general ledger, journals, chart of accounts, multi-currency).
- The Vancouver engineering team has clear ownership and quality standards, thanks in part to your leadership and role modeling.
- Your work reaches customers through every product built on the ledger, and the decisions made now will shape Xero for years.
OWNERSHIP
You will own the technical direction for your area of the accounting platform, from design through production and on-call. You will make architectural decisions on service boundaries, data contracts, and technology choices without needing sign-off, and you will be accountable for reliability and data integrity end to end. You will also help set hiring, quality, and ownership practices for an early and growing team, which will compound over time.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
Bernardo Farah is the Director of Engineering for Accounting Core. He has over 10 years of SaaS software experience, including six years building platforms and growing teams at Samsara.
WHAT YOU BRING
MUST-HAVE:
- You set the standard for your team in AI-assisted development, operational excellence, and flexible architecture.
- A track record delivering highly available, distributed backend systems and designing high-throughput services under production constraints.
- Depth in system architecture, API design, and both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Proficiency in a modern backend stack such as C#, Java, Go, or C++, plus cloud-native platforms like AWS.
- You demonstrate strong ability in breaking down complex problems into clear, actionable solutions while driving agile execution to deliver results.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with financial, ledger, or accounting systems, or other domains where data integrity is critical
- Experience with durable execution or workflow engines such as Temporal
- Experience modernizing a mature system without disrupting customers
HOW WE WORK
Process is a tool for impact and we adjust accordingly. We use an agile approach to ship outcomes, not to follow ceremony. Code and design reviews are where we trade ideas and hold the quality bar, and we are figuring out how to use LLMs to reduce how much code humans have to write and review by hand. Our on-call rotation draws on a healthy pool of engineers and turns incidents into learning through postmortems. Decisions are made at every level, and we make sure everyone has the strategic context to raise proposals and drive innovation.
Our Hiring Process
- Stage 1: Real World coding assessment, 45 Mins
- Stage 2: Systems Design assessment, 45 Mins
- Stage 3: Technical Deep dive, 60 Mins
- Stage 4: Values/ Future Proof, 60 Mins
- Stage 5: Leadership interview, 60 mins
Apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team. We are also tech stack agnostic, so please apply if you've worked with adjacent technologies.
Compensation & Total Rewards
At Xero, we value the impact and skills you bring to the team. We don’t just hire for a role; we invest in people. We believe in a Total Package philosophy - which means your value isn't just a single number on a paycheck. While base salary is a core component, we look at your compensation through a holistic lens that includes equity, performance incentives, and world-class benefits.
The expected base salary range for this role in:
- California: $206,000 USD
Individual pay is determined by various factors, including geography, level of experience, and the specific skills you bring to the role.
In addition to base pay, Xero’s roles are eligible for the following forms of variable compensation:
- Variable Pay: Permanent employees are eligible to participate in our annual bonus and equity (RSU) programs. You may also be eligible for performance-based cash or equity (RSUs) incentives depending on your role level, and company performance.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and 21 days PTO, 10 days of Wellbeing leave, 5 days of Xtra Leave, 1 volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, paid parental leave. Further information included on our Xero Perks https://careers.xero.com/inside-xero/benefits-wellbeing/ page.
Xero uses AI to help screen applications based on job-related qualifications. These tools assist our recruiters but do not make automated hiring decisions. A human recruiter reviews all candidates before any hiring action is taken.

We are looking for an experienced Fullstack QA Engineer with a background in fintech, banking or other finance-related products to join our banking QA team. We build mobile banking apps on shared backend APIs. You will test both mobile apps and backend services by hand and help us build test automation for APIs and mobile apps. Our products move real money - cards, transfers, payments - so quality here matters.
What You Will Do
Test new features and run regression for iOS and Android apps;
Test backend APIs and integrations: requests, responses, logs;
Design and maintain test cases and checklists in TestRail;
Build, maintain and run automated API tests with Postman and Newman in GitLab CI;
Maintain and extend our existing Java / REST Assured API test framework (TestRail integration, Allure reporting), and bring it back to regular runs;
Contribute to mobile UI test automation for iOS and Android — together with developers in their native test suites or with cross-platform tools — with a focus on end-to-end checks against the real backend;
Prepare test data and test accounts for automated and manual runs;
Help evolve our test automation approach and tooling;
Clarify requirements directly with developers and product managers — we have no business analysts, so you will often find out how things should work yourself;
Take part in release checks (release candidate testing, post-release smoke) and help improve QA processes;
Use AI tools to speed up your work — and verify what they produce.
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer;
Experience in fintech, banking, payments or other finance-related products;
Solid test design skills: you write test cases and checklists from short task descriptions;
Hands-on experience testing mobile apps on both iOS and Android (TestFlight / Firebase builds);
Strong API testing skills: HTTP, REST, status codes, authorization;
Hands-on API test automation: comfortable reading and extending automated API tests in code (Java or Kotlin preferred) and writing simple tests by analogy - not framework architecture from scratch - plus Postman/Newman (scripts, environments, collections); experience running it in CI;
Proxy tools - Charles or Proxyman: inspecting traffic, breakpoints, mocking responses;
Working with logs to localise bugs;
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude: you ask questions, dig into unclear tasks and own the result;
Readiness to test manually - this is not a pure automation role;
Russian - native․

Building test automation in code from scratch: framework, CI pipeline, reporting;
GitLab CI: pipelines, schedules, artifacts;
Basic SQL;
Mobile UI test automation: Appium, Espresso/Kaspresso or XCUITest;

Training on the company's products and processes;
A genuinely comfortable and professional working environment;
