About Provectus
Provectus is an AWS Premier Partner and an Anthropic Strategic Partner, working at the frontier of applied AI. We help enterprises turn Claude, agentic systems, and their own data into measurable business outcomes — through bespoke applications, managed services, and advisory engagements. With offices in North America, LATAM, and EMEA, we partner with clients worldwide.
Our work centers on two verticals — Financial Services & Insurance and Healthcare & Life Sciences — where we deploy five pre-built AI Blueprints: Submission Flow, Portfolio Lens, Asset Flow, Revenue Flow, and Evidence Lens. Each Blueprint rebuilds a critical business process front to back, shipped from working code and tuned to a client's specific book, regulators, and operating posture.
Our team holds 100+ AWS certifications, is Claude Code certified, and co-delivers Anthropic's Agentic SDLC program, Cowork Activation, and AI Blueprint engagements.
Where this role sits
You will work in a small, senior pod alongside an FDE and an FDX,
Forward Deployed Executives (FDX)
own the commercial relationship and the business outcome. Works alongside the client's leadership or C-suite level to move the client's KPIs.
Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE)
embed with a client, map the client workflow, identify the business problem underneath it, design and build a working AI solution, present to the client, and transfer the knowledge to the client's team. Owns technical direction of the whole solution.
Senior AI Engineer.
When an FDE comes back from the client with the business problem, you will help turn that into an agentic system that runs in production and will be responsible for evaluation, observability, and guardrails. You'll have real ownership of components and of the technical decisions inside them.
Requirements:
Mindset
Proactive and self-directed;
you push for clarity rather than waiting for a ticket
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Comfort with ambiguity and ownership.
B2+ English, comfortable collaborating across distributed, multicultural teams.
Technical depth
5+ years in software or ML engineering, with production systems you were accountable for
.
Solid AI/ML foundations. You understand what the models do well enough to reason about failure modes.
Shipped to production LLM applications and agentic workflows — not demos, not POCs, not notebooks.
Agentic orchestration: multi-step workflows, graph-based orchestration, tool use, state management, and recovery from partial failure
Experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or OpenAI) and agent frameworks.
Experience building and optimizing RAG systems in production.
Strong engineering fundamentals. Full-stack mindset, comfortable across AI, backend development, and cloud infrastructure. Python and/or TypeScript proficiency; depth matters more than stack.
Dropped into an unfamiliar codebase, you're productive.
Hands-on AWS in production: Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, Lambda, ECS, S3, SQS, ECR, or similar. GCP or Azure is a plus.
Cloud-native delivery: containers, ECS or Kubernetes, IaC, and CI/CD applied to AI pipelines.
You evaluate. You have built or owned an eval suite for a non-deterministic system, and you can explain what you measured, how you produced ground truth, and what gated a release.
Model and agent monitoring, drift detection.
Cost and latency discipline: model tiering, caching, and the ability to say what a workload costs to run before it runs.
Hands-on production experience with the Claude ecosystem — Claude Code, CLAUDE.md, hooks, skills files. Spec-driven development — writing the intent, constraints, and acceptance criteria before you let an agent build — is a strong plus.
MCP: you can say why an agent would prefer it to a REST integration. Having authored a server is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Work in a pair with an FDE and an FDX.
Build and ship production GenAI systems into the customer’s environment (cloud-native data, LLM-based, and agentic AI solutions).
Build and optimize RAG systems for production use cases
Build the evaluation harness before you build the feature.
Write production code across the stack — AI, backend services, data pipelines. We choose tools to fit the customer.
Integrate AI components into backend services and RESTful APIs
Take systems to production on AWS (GCP or Azure where the customer requires it): containerised, CI/CD. Implement LLMOps and AgentOps practices: agent tracing, prompt and version management, cost and latency monitoring, regression testing, drift detection
Start from the blueprint, contribute to enablement and handover: clear documentation, runbooks, and pairing with the client engineers who will inherit the system. Feed reusable components and lessons back into the Provectus Blueprints
Participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions
Conduct model evaluation, improve failure modes you find, optimize model performance, efficiency, and reliability
Mentor junior and mid-level AI engineers, conduct code reviews and share knowledge across the team through documentation, presentations, and workshops.
Nice to Have:
Experience in one of the industries: financial services, insurance, healthcare.
Consulting, professional services, or other embedded customer-facing delivery.
AWS and Claude Code Certifications
A2A: you can explain agent-to-agent interoperability
CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
Practical experience with one or more use cases from the following: NLP, LLMs, and Recommendation engines.
Experience in an additional language (Go, TypeScript, or Rust).
Experience with Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Kafkа
What We Offer:
The chance to shape how leading enterprises across LATAM, Europe, and North America adopt AI, from strategy through first deployment
A forward-deployed model working in small, senior teams alongside FDE and FDX
A growing AI delivery practice where you help build the tooling and frameworks, not just use them
Remote-friendly culture
Internal training programs with full support for Claude, AWS, and other professional certifications, conference attendance
Career growth; we actively develop our engineers
Access to the latest AI tools and premium subscriptions
Long-term B2B collaboration
Private medical insurance or a budget for your medical needs
Paid sick leave, vacation, and public holidays
Equipment and all the tech you need for comfortable, productive work
How we hire:
Intro conversation. The role, your background and aspirations, tech questions.
Technical interview with live engineering sessions. Real problems, your own editor, you may use an LLM assistant
HR Interview. Soft skills and expectations
HM interview. Tech questions; a live engine

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a mid-level Infrastructure Vulnerability Management Engineer with a strong background in Cloud Security, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). In this role, you will bridge the gap between security, compliance, DevOps, and Platform engineering teams. You will identify infrastructure misconfigurations, secure multi-cloud environments, and manage continuous vulnerability lifecycles across cloud workloads, containers, and data repositories to satisfy strict regulatory compliance frameworks. You will also serve as a technical infrastructure responder during security incidents, deploying real-time cloud or network countermeasures to protect our production ecosystem.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Infrastructure Scanning & Triage: Perform continuous security scanning across our cloud posture and workloads. Review, validate, and prioritize flaws and misconfigurations based on CVSS scores, real-world exploitability, and infrastructure network exposure.
- Posture Management & Visibility: Own and optimize Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Kubernetes Security Posture Management (KSPM), and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) tools to ensure uniform compliance, prevent data leakage, and maintain hardened baselines.
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) Security: Configure, tune, and embed automated IaC security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines to identify architectural risks (e.g., overly permissive IAM, public S3 buckets/Cloud Storage) before they are deployed to production.
- Workload & Container Security: Manage the continuous vulnerability scanning lifecycle for container images, registries, and Virtual Machines (VMs), partnering with SRE and Platform teams to build automated base-image patching and rolling upgrade pipelines.
- Compliance-Driven Tracking: Track, document, and manage infrastructure vulnerabilities according to strict compliance SLAs (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS). Maintain audit-ready evidence of infrastructure remediation timelines and exception approvals.
- Executive Reporting & Alerting: Escalate and report critical production exposures directly to the CISO and senior leadership. Maintain dashboards and alerting mechanisms that visualize infrastructure risk trends and cloud compliance posture.
- Remediation Collaboration: Partner with SRE, DevOps, and Platform teams to provide clear infrastructure mitigation paths. Assist in writing, reviewing, or modifying cloud configuration templates directly when necessary to resolve security flaws.
- Incident Response Support: Assist Incident Response teams during active cloud or host-level breaches. Help develop and implement immediate, real-time cloud, network, or IAM configuration countermeasures to contain threats.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience: 5 years of experience in Cloud Security, DevSecOps, or Systems Engineering roles.
- Cloud Infrastructure Depth: Strong foundational experience working with multi-cloud environments (Deep GCP expertise preferred, with working knowledge of AWS or Azure).
- Posture Management & Scanning Tooling: Hands-on experience operating modern infrastructure security platforms such as Wiz, Orca, Prisma Cloud, Lacework, or cloud-native options (GCP Security Command Center).
- IaC and Automation Fluency: Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code platforms (Terraform, Pulumi) and GitOps deployment workflows. Ability to evaluate and configure IaC scanners like Checkov, Tfsec, or KICS.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Deep understanding of Docker/container security and Kubernetes architectures (e.g., GKE, EKS), including runtime security, network policies, and workload identity.
- Compliance Awareness: Understanding of how infrastructure configurations and vulnerability management map to security compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, or NIST.
WHAT WE VALUE
- Systems Thinking: The ability to see the "big picture" and understand how security decisions impact the entire stack.
- Technical Influence: The ability to drive technical alignment across the organization through expertise and collaboration rather than direct authority.
- Autonomy: Comfortable leading major technical initiatives and driving outcomes with minimal oversight.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: A passion for breaking down complex security challenges into elegant, scalable engineering solutions.

ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.
Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.
THE ROLE:
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a group of highly experienced engineers. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll spend roughly half your time on technical contribution and half on people management, depending on the need. You’ll work closely with the team to set direction, remove blockers, and foster a strong engineering culture as they tackle complex systems challenges in distributed computing, large-scale data handling, and performance optimization.
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:

THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a Growth Engineer to own the technical foundation of Modal’s marketing and developer-facing web surfaces: the marketing site, docs site, growth landing pages, high-profile microsites, forms, analytics instrumentation, and the integrations that help users discover, understand, and get started with Modal.
This is a frontend-heavy role for someone with strong product taste, web engineering craft, and a business-owner mindset. You’ll partner with Product Engineering, Design, Data, and Growth to ship polished, measurable web experiences, from high-profile projects like the GPU Glossary https://modal.com/gpu-glossary and LLM Engine Advisor https://modal.com/llm-almanac/advisor to internal tooling that helps teams publish content faster.
When this role is going well, Modal launches new pages, docs experiences, campaigns, and experiments quickly without sacrificing performance, craft, or measurement.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Own and evolve Modal’s marketing site, docs site, and technical web experiences as high-quality engineering systems, not static content
- Build bespoke interactive projects with engineers, turning deep technical work into useful web experiences for developers and agents
- Instrument all public-facing content, all the way from human-facing marketing pages to agent-targeted, self-improving documentation
- Improve internal publishing flows so more teams can ship quality content quickly while keeping the site maintainable
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You’ve built and shipped modern web applications end-to-end
- You have experience with agentic development flows where agents consume marketing content and docs to help developers build on Modal
- You can build polished, responsive web experiences without needing every detail specified
- You have a business-owner mindset and strong data intuition: you think about conversion, activation, developer trust, speed of launch, and quality of measurement, and the tradeoffs inherent to each
- You’re excited about developer-facing AI infrastructure and building web experiences that feel credible to engineers
- You’re able to work in person in our NYC office
We care more about what you’ve built than years of experience.
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Deep knowledge of SEO, AEO, structured content, or agentic discoverability
- Experience with marketing sites, docs sites, or product-led-growth surfaces at a devtools, infra, or AI company
- Familiarity with our stack: Svelte/SvelteKit, TypeScript, Tailwind, Vite, MDX/SVX content systems, headless CMS (Sanity), Playwright/Vitest
- Familiarity with our integrations: Segment, Snowflake, PostHog, Sentry, Algolia/DocSearch, Fillout, Pylon, Ashby
- Experience designing growth experiments, A/B tests, or funnel instrumentation
- A portfolio of polished sites, docs systems, interactive demos, or growth experiments

ABOUT US
At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale.
With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world.
Today, our platform includes LangSmith (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), our open source frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents), and the newly launched LangSmith Engine for autonomous agent improvement. We have 100M+ monthly open source downloads, 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, and 5 of the Fortune 10 use LangSmith in production (+ 35% of the Fortune 500 overall), including teams at Klarna, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, LinkedIn, Monday.com, Nvidia, and Bridgewater.
ABOUT THE TEAM
This team works directly with companies building and running AI agents in production, helping turn ideas and prototypes into systems teams can rely on.
This is a hands-on, highly technical team that partners closely with customer engineers across the full lifecycle, from pre-sales evaluations to post-deployment advisory work. The focus is on achieving the technical win, co-designing agent architectures, and helping customers operate agents reliably at scale using the LangChain suite.
Sales Engineers sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and go-to-market, shaping how LangChain is adopted in the field and feeding real-world insights back into the platform.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll work on some of the hardest problems in applied AI alongside customers. This is not demos or research, but helping teams build systems they rely on in production. The feedback loop is fast, the impact is visible, and your work directly shapes how AI agents are built in the real world.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Co-architect and co-build production AI agents with customer engineering teams
- Own the technical win in pre-sales by designing POCs, answering deep technical questions, and guiding evaluations
- Help customers deploy and operate agent-based applications such as conversational agents, research agents, and multi-step workflows
- Advise customers post-sale on architecture, best practices, and roadmap-level decisions
- Run technical demos, trainings, and workshops for developer audiences
- Surface field feedback and contribute reusable patterns, cookbooks, and example code that scale across customers
- Occasionally contribute code upstream when it meaningfully improves customer outcomes
- This role requires 40% travel to customer sites to support deployment, onboarding, and ongoing technical engagement
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 3+ years in a relevant technical role (software engineering, customer engineering, solutions engineering, founding/product engineering), ideally in a startup or scale-up
- Strong Python, JavaScript and systems fundamentals
- Have designed agent-based or LLM-powered applications beyond simple API calls, including multi-step workflows, orchestration, and failure handling
- Are comfortable working directly with customers during POCs, architecture reviews, and technical evaluations
- Can explain technical tradeoffs clearly and build trust with developer audiences
- Take responsibility for outcomes, not just recommendations
- Have a bias toward action and enjoy figuring things out as you go
- Are excited about operating AI agents in production, not just building demos
NICE TO HAVE’S:

ABOUT DOCKER
Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.
_______________________________________________________________________
The DHI Content team builds and maintains Docker Hardened Images: a catalogue of security-hardened system packages, container images and Helm charts designed to be minimal, up to date and safe to use in security-conscious and regulated environments.
This is a supply-chain and open-source maintainer role rather than a conventional backend engineering role. You will work across upstream OSS projects, package and image definitions, Helm charts, Kubernetes, integration tests, vulnerability remediation and the controls that prove content is ready to publish. The work is broad by design: customers should be able to select hardened packages and images and, where relevant, deploy them through hardened charts without the pieces drifting apart.
We are moving DHI content production towards a machine-first factory. Routine work should begin with a machine-produced change and pass through automated build, test, policy and review controls. Engineers add the most value by handling difficult ecosystems, making security judgements, improving standards and turning repeated human corrections into better tooling. You will use AI-assisted engineering extensively, but remain accountable for the evidence and quality behind every result.
As a Senior Supply Chain Security Engineer, you will own substantial content and improvement work from upstream discovery through release and ongoing maintenance. You will be expected to close the loop on customer and security outcomes, not only submit individual definition changes.
SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE
You will succeed by becoming a trusted end-to-end owner for hardened content. Within your first year, you should have delivered complex new or updated DHI content across packages, images and Helm charts, improved the factory or its quality gates, reduced recurring manual work and raised the capability of the engineers around you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Author and maintain definitions for hardened system packages and container images, including build steps, upstream tracking, multi-architecture support and reproducibility controls.
- Adapt and maintain upstream Helm charts so they work correctly with DHI images under non-root, restricted and production-shaped Kubernetes security constraints.
- Track upstream releases, semver patterns, monorepos, dependency chains and breaking changes, then make pragmatic decisions about when to update, patch, pin or deviate.
- Triage and remediate vulnerabilities across OS packages, application dependencies, images and charts, including VEX and no-upstream-fix cases that require explicit security judgement.
- Write and improve Go-based integration tests, validators and policy checks that prove packages, images and charts behave correctly in real environments.
- Review human-authored and machine-authored pull requests against DHI standards, distinguish blocking issues from advice and give contributors a clear path forward.
- Improve the DHI Factory by converting repeated work, review corrections and escaped defects into automation, tests, validators and reusable authoring patterns.
- Help classify work into deterministic, specialist and judgement paths so people spend time where their expertise changes the outcome.
- Partner with Product, Security, Support and customer-facing teams to turn demand and incidents into prioritised content and durable improvements.
- Engage constructively with upstream maintainers when hardened deployment requirements expose issues or useful improvements.
- Participate in the team's paid on-call rotation and drive learning from customer escalations, failed builds and content defects.
- Communicate decisions, risks and progress clearly in a remote, async-first environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- Strong experience with containers, Linux and Kubernetes in production or production-shaped environments.
- Practical experience reading, adapting or maintaining Helm charts and diagnosing how chart templates, values and workload security settings affect deployment behaviour.
- Experience maintaining software you did not originate, such as Linux packages, container images, open-source integrations, charts or a comparable downstream distribution.
- Strong YAML and configuration-review skills, including care for conventions, consistency and downstream impact across a large catalogue.
- Working knowledge of container and Kubernetes security, including non-root execution, UID and GID, capabilities, filesystem restrictions, image layers and multi-architecture builds.
- Practical programming ability in Go or a comparable language, sufficient to write and review integration tests, validators and content automation.
- Experience tracking upstream releases and reasoning about semver, breaking changes, dependency graphs and reproducible builds.
- A maintainer mindset: you catch drift, improve patterns for the next contributor and consider the effect of a change across many downstream consumers.
- Familiarity with GitHub-heavy open-source workflows, including pull requests, review, release tracking and upstream contribution.
- Comfort using AI-assisted engineering critically while retaining ownership of security assertions, test evidence and release quality.
- A strong operational mindset and clear written and spoken communication suited to a remote, async-first company.
HELPFUL, BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Experience as a maintainer for Alpine, Debian, Fedora, Wolfi, Homebrew or another package ecosystem.
- Helm chart authorship or meaningful contribution to an upstream chart.
- Experience with SBOMs, VEX, SLSA, Sigstore, cosign, provenance or artefact signing.
- Experience with apk, deb, rpm, Go modules, Maven or Gradle, npm, pip, Cargo or other dependency ecosystems.
- Experience building automation for package, image or chart creation, validation and release.
- Experience with FIPS, FedRAMP, PCI or other regulated and security-conscious environments.
WHAT TO EXPECT
FIRST 30 DAYS
- Build context on the DHI catalogue, its package, image and chart definitions, the DHI Factory and the team's definition of done.
- Pair across both image and Helm chart work and ship a useful production change.
- Learn the build, test, signing, publishing and vulnerability-remediation workflows.
- Take part in reviews and an incident, escalation or failed-build learning session.
FIRST 90 DAYS
- Own a complex image and chart addition or update from upstream analysis through release.
- Resolve a meaningful CVE, dependency or compatibility problem with clear evidence and customer impact in mind.
- Improve at least one factory control, integration test, validator or reusable content pattern.
- Review across artefact types and help another engineer take on a broader piece of work.
ONE YEAR OUTLOOK (FIRST YEAR)
- Be a trusted senior owner across hardened packages, images and Helm charts.
- Deliver material catalogue growth or quality improvements without increasing human effort linearly with demand.
- Reduce recurring manual work by moving a class of changes into a proven automated path.
- Improve DHI's security posture, content availability and release reliability for customers.
- Raise review quality and grow the team's ability to work across artefact and dependency ecosystems.
Docker considers visa sponsorship on a case-by-case basis based on business needs.
Compensation & Equity
Canada: CA$210,627 – CA$341,690 + equity
United States: $154,600 – $250,800 + equity

WHY WORK AT HIGGSFIELD AI?
Higgsfield AI is the fastest-scaling generative AI company in history, hitting $1B in annual revenue run rate, 30M+ users worldwide, 6M+ generations per day, and powering 390 of Fortune 500 brands.
We're building at the absolute frontier of AI-powered video creation and next-generation creative tools. Joining Higgsfield means becoming part of a high-impact team shaping the future of AI-native experiences, at a company that isn't just moving fast, but rewriting what fast looks like.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Higgsfield AI is looking for a hands-on Member of Technical Staff, Infrastructure Security to build, secure, and operate the systems that protect our corporate infrastructure, employee devices, identities, and applications.
As we scale globally, you'll own the technical implementation of security controls across identity and access management, endpoint security, SaaS applications, and corporate networks.
Working closely with IT, Security, and Engineering, you'll identify vulnerabilities, implement practical solutions, and automate security operations. This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you'll personally configure, troubleshoot, and maintain critical security systems rather than primarily managing vendors or directing other teams.
We're looking for a well-rounded security engineer with strong technical judgment who can prioritize risks, move quickly, and build scalable security solutions without creating unnecessary friction.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
IDENTITY & ACCESS SECURITY
- Design, implement, and maintain identity and access controls across Microsoft Entra ID and corporate applications.
- Configure and manage SSO/SAML, SCIM provisioning, MFA, Conditional Access, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Secure and automate employee joiner, mover, and leaver (JML) workflows.
- Implement least-privilege access and strengthen authentication and authorization practices.
ENDPOINT & CORPORATE APPLICATION SECURITY
- Own endpoint security controls across corporate devices, including Microsoft Intune/MDM, device compliance, and endpoint detection and response (EDR).
- Secure SaaS applications through access management, permissions, provisioning, and configuration reviews.
- Design and implement Zero Trust access controls based on user identity, device posture, and least-privilege principles.
- Identify and remediate security gaps across corporate systems and applications.
SECURITY AUTOMATION & INCIDENT RESPONSE
- Build scripts, API integrations, and automated workflows to improve security operations and reduce manual processes.
- Develop and maintain security monitoring, alerting, and detection capabilities.
- Investigate compromised accounts, suspicious activity, and endpoint security incidents, driving containment and remediation.
- Troubleshoot security infrastructure issues and continuously improve technical controls.
TECHNICAL OWNERSHIP & SECURITY ENGINEERING
- Identify and prioritize corporate security risks, balancing security requirements with business and operational needs.
- Lead technical security initiatives from design and implementation through ongoing operations.
- Partner with IT and Engineering to establish scalable security standards and practical guardrails.
- Evaluate and implement security tooling while maintaining direct ownership of configuration and operations.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in corporate security engineering, IT security, or enterprise security infrastructure, ideally in a high-growth technology environment.
- Proven experience personally implementing, configuring, troubleshooting, and operating corporate security systems.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID, SSO/SAML, SCIM, MFA, Conditional Access, and identity lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with endpoint management and security tools, including Intune/MDM, device compliance, and EDR.
- Experience securing SaaS applications, managing permissions, and implementing Zero Trust access principles.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar languages, including API integrations.
- Familiarity with security monitoring, incident investigation, and remediation of compromised accounts or devices.
- Strong security judgment and the ability to independently identify, prioritize, and resolve high-impact risks.
- Broad technical expertise across corporate security infrastructure rather than specialization in a single area such as IAM, SOC, or endpoint management.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• We offer a competitive and thoughtfully structured compensation package designed to align with impact, experience, and long-term growth.
• Base Salary: The anticipated salary range for this role is $200,000 - $300,000, depending on experience, skills, scope, and location.
• Equity: In addition to cash compensation, employees are eligible to participate in the company’s stock option program and share in Higgsfield’s long-term growth. •
• Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees professionally and personally
• The opportunity to work on ambitious AI products alongside a highly experienced, fast-moving, and international team.
• Significant ownership, direct impact, and opportunities for professional growth as the company scales.

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
Kraken is building a dedicated AI Compute and Infrastructure team to power the next generation of model training, inference, evaluation, and experimentation across the exchange. This team sits within engineering leadership and owns the infrastructure layer that lets Kraken run AI workloads with control, speed, reliability, and cost discipline.
The team is responsible for GPU and accelerator infrastructure, cluster operations, scheduling, model serving, observability, capacity planning, and cost-efficient compute at scale. This is the backbone that allows Kraken to train, serve, evaluate, and iterate on AI systems in-house where it matters for privacy, latency, reliability, cost, or product differentiation.
You will join a small, senior, high-impact team working directly with AI/ML researchers, platform engineers, security teams, and product teams. The mandate is simple: make Kraken's AI ambitions real by building compute infrastructure that is fast, dependable, efficient, and production-grade.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Own and operate GPU and accelerator clusters used for training, inference, evaluation, and experimentation, including drivers, runtimes, kernels, device plugins, node configuration, scheduling primitives, and workload isolation.
- Design infrastructure that enables Kraken teams to run models locally on GPUs where it is strategically and economically preferable, reducing unnecessary dependency on external providers and containing compute costs.

- Optimize inference pipelines for latency, throughput, reliability, memory efficiency, and cost using frameworks such as vLLM, Triton Inference Server, TensorRT, or equivalent serving stacks.
- Partner with ML engineers and researchers to remove bottlenecks in training, evaluation, batch inference, online inference, deployment, and production debugging workflows.
- Build observability for GPU utilization, memory pressure, queue depth, saturation, token throughput, request latency, failed workloads, capacity pressure, and spend.
- Drive reliability, incident response, alerting, runbooks, and post-incident improvements for always-on AI compute infrastructure.
- Evaluate and integrate new hardware, cloud instance families, specialized accelerators, runtimes, schedulers, and serving frameworks as the AI infrastructure landscape evolves.
- Build tooling that makes GPU usage visible, accountable, and easier for internal teams to consume without needing to become infrastructure experts.
- Contribute to long-term architecture decisions that balance performance, cost efficiency, scalability, operational simplicity, and production safety.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience, with significant time spent on GPU compute, ML infrastructure, distributed systems, high-performance computing, or large-scale production platforms.
- Hands-on experience operating GPU clusters or accelerator-backed infrastructure in production or production-like environments, including scheduling, orchestration, utilization monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Strong systems engineering fundamentals across Linux, networking, storage, containers, Kubernetes, distributed runtimes, and production debugging.
- Experience with ML serving frameworks such as vLLM, Triton Inference Server, TensorRT, TorchServe, KServe, Ray Serve, or equivalent systems.
- Proficiency in Python for infrastructure automation, tooling, debugging, integration, and operational workflows.
- Practical understanding of performance tradeoffs across batching, concurrency, memory usage, GPU utilization, model size, latency, throughput, availability, and cost.
- Track record of optimizing compute costs while maintaining clear performance, reliability, and availability expectations.
- Experience building observable systems with useful metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerts, and incident workflows.
- Comfortable working in high-stakes, always-on environments where uptime, throughput, correctness, and operational discipline are critical.
- Clear communicator who can translate infrastructure tradeoffs for researchers, product teams, platform engineers, security stakeholders, and engineering leadership.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience at a frontier AI lab, hyperscaler, high-frequency trading firm, research platform, or high-scale ML organization.
- Familiarity with custom silicon or specialized accelerators such as TPUs, AWS Trainium, Gaudi, or similar platforms.
- Background in capacity planning, procurement input, reserved capacity strategy, cloud accelerator economics, or GPU fleet cost management.
- Experience with distributed training frameworks such as DeepSpeed, Megatron-LM, FSDP, Ray, or equivalent systems.
- Experience debugging CUDA, NCCL, kernel, driver, runtime, memory, networking, or low-level performance issues.
- Experience with Rust, C++, Go, CUDA, or other systems languages used for performance-critical infrastructure.
- Crypto, financial services, trading infrastructure, or security-sensitive production infrastructure experience.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.
