We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a remote position. We are seeking candidates in US and Canada.
The Opportunity:
Application Core Services (AppCore) is a group within Platform, in the Foundations department. Foundations produces the Internal Engineering Platform (IEP) and partners closely with our Cloud, Enterprise, and Grafana teams. Our team develops the essential systems driving Grafana's business operations. We utilize the grafana.com platform to engineer bespoke integrations and solutions that unify the diverse technical ecosystem of a modern software enterprise.
The team owns important domain areas that help keep both our customer workflows and internal business processes running smoothly. AppCore is made up of multiple squads, each focused on one or more of these domains. Our work includes maintaining the billing engine responsible for customer usage calculations, automating provisioning after a customer signs a contract, integrating with cloud marketplaces such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and building and maintaining the user portal our customers rely on to manage their accounts.
This is a team working at the intersection of product, platform, and business operations. The systems we build are critical to how Grafana Cloud scales. We are looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex workflow and systems problems, improving reliability and developer experience, and building software that directly supports both customers and internal stakeholders.
As a company we are remote-first and global, we embrace people of different experiences and backgrounds to build diverse teams where every person brings a unique perspective to the software. Engineers at Grafana Labs also have the opportunity to contribute to Open Source communities and collaborate across teams beyond their immediate scope.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The Usage squad owns the essential systems driving Grafana's business operations and customer usage calculations. Our domain encompasses maintaining the billing engine responsible for customer usage calculation, cost management and billing applications, automating provisioning after a customer signs a contract, integrating with cloud marketplaces such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and building and maintaining the customer user portal.
Our work sits at the intersection of product, platform, and business operations. We build full-stack web applications, customer portals, backend services, APIs, and data integrations across internal Grafana platforms and third-party systems like NetSuite and Salesforce. When this domain works well, customers get clear usage visibility, reliable billing, and seamless account management workflows. This role is about 75% FrontEnd and 25% BackEnd.
Design, build, operate, and evolve reliable full-stack web applications, customer-facing account portals, and backend services that power core customer usage and billing workflows
Build and maintain backend APIs (Golang, Node.js) and intuitive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies (TypeScript, React)
Design and maintain integrations between Grafana systems and external business platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and cloud marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Develop and automate business logic for customer usage metering, pricing structures, promotions, and billing reconciliation
Collaborate across product management, DealOps, GTM, Support, and adjacent AppCore squads to deliver robust end-to-end features
Address technical debt, optimize CI/CD pipelines, strengthen test coverage, and improve system observability and operational resilience
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers while shaping pragmatic solutions for complex systems challenges
Contribute to roadmap planning, technical design, OnCall improvements, and long-term simplification of stack operations
You will help own the production behavior of the systems you build. That includes improving runbooks, dashboards, alerts, reconciliation safety, rollout controls, and recovery procedures. You should be comfortable debugging across service boundaries and making careful changes in systems that affect customer stacks
What Makes You a Great Fit:
At Grafana, we actively embrace AI-assisted and agentic development practices, integrating these technologies into both our engineering workflows and the systems we deliver. We encourage our engineers to thoughtfully leverage AI tools to enhance every stage of the lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, documentation, and operations. We also look for strategic opportunities to embed agentic capabilities within our services to eliminate toil, bolster reliability, and ensure that complex customer workflows remain resilient and safe.
We are seeking a Staff FullStack Engineer who thrives on building production systems where correctness, scalability, and user experience are paramount. As a remote-first organization, you should be comfortable collaborating asynchronously across time zones and taking full ownership of the critical systems powering Grafana Cloud. Our team is small and operates with a high degree of independence; you will be expected to lead major projects, coordinate across service boundaries, and help define the technical direction for our domain.
You will be particularly successful in this role if you enjoy solving challenges related to stateful systems, eventual consistency, and reconciliation loops. We value engineers who can take ambiguous lifecycle requirements and transform them into explicit, modular solutions. You should be adept at breaking down complex systems work into safe, iterative increments while clearly communicating technical tradeoffs to both internal stakeholders and adjacent product teams.
Some things you might be expected to do could include:
Writing efficient, readable, and easy to maintain code
Designing new microservices or systems
Collaborating with teammates and other departments to reach consensus on proposed solutions
Coordinating with product and UX when needed
Responding to customer requests and feedback
When ready, participating in our follow-the-sun OnCall rotation
Participating in team decisions, such as roadmap planning and prioritization
Requirements:
You have at least 1 year of fully remote work experience
You have worked on a big SaaS platform and dealt with common distributed systems problems (e.g. scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, HA, …)
Strong professional experience with backend technologies (Golang, Node.js) as well as modern frontend web development (TypeScript, React)
Care deeply about developer and user experience and the quality of the products that you work on
Have some experience with delivering projects from gathering requirements, and brainstorming ideas to shipping a product to the customer’s hands in a self-driven way
You write clean, robust, well-tested software that other engineers can understand, operate, and maintain
Have experience with mentoring junior engineers in a collaborative but asynchronous environment
Can take on complex challenges and break them down to achieve tight learning loops: to analyze, design, and build modular solutions, deliver MVPs, gather data and feedback, and then progress iteratively
You are willing to work across teams. Your work has to be aligned with the needs of other squads and external stakeholders. You make your plans transparent, bring stakeholders on board, and are open to feedback and suggestions
Strong Kubernetes experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tooling (Helm, Terraform, Jsonnet, etc.)
Bonus Points For:
Experience with high-volume usage metering, billing engines, or customer-facing cost management applications
Experience designing, building, and maintaining integrations with third-party business systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Cloud Marketplaces)
Experience with frontend component libraries, design systems, and modern CSS-in-JS tooling
Familiarity with cloud marketplace integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS provisioning/tenancy patterns
Experience working on SaaS provisioning, tenancy, regional expansion, plugin rollout, or customer lifecycle systems
Experience with incident response involving configuration drift, partial failure, or cross-service state mismatch
In the United States, the compensation range for this role is $174,986 - $209,983 USD. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process. All of our roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), giving every team member ownership in Grafana Labs' success. We believe in shared outcomes—RSUs help us stay aligned and invested as we scale globally.
*Compensation ranges are country specific. If you are applying for this role from a different location than listed above, your recruiter will discuss your specific market’s defined pay range & benefits at the beginning of the process.

We are looking for a
Senior Product Owner
to build how Capital.com detects and prevents fraud and money laundering as we expand into new financial products and markets.
You will own the roadmap for fraud prevention and transaction monitoring. That covers the rules, models and systems that flag risky activity, and the tools teams use to review it. You’ll use AI to clear routine alerts automatically, so people can focus on the cases that need a person. You’ll work closely with Compliance, Operations, Data, Engineering and the Financial Investigation Unit. Because this is a new capability, you’ll shape it from the ground up and, over time, build the team that runs it.
Responsibilities:
Own and prioritize the product roadmap for fraud prevention and transaction monitoring within the agreed financial crime strategy.
Translate fraud threats, money-laundering risk scenarios and control requirements into clear product requirements, detection logic and acceptance criteria.
Lead the development of rules, models and preventive controls with Engineering, Data, Operations and Compliance. Apply AI and machine learning where they demonstrably improve detection, prevention and case handling.
Establish reliable, timely data inputs for detection. Identify gaps in data quality, availability or coverage and prioritise their resolution.
Evaluate proposed controls using historical data and realistic test scenarios. Assess detection coverage, missed activity, false positives and the impact on legitimate customers.
Deliver changes through the agreed approval process, with clear testing, staged rollout, monitoring and rollback plans.
Measure performance after release, including fraud losses, detection effectiveness and customer friction. Use the findings to improve controls without treating fewer alerts as proof of success.
Adapt fraud prevention and transaction monitoring capabilities to emerging threats, new products, markets and transaction types. Make readiness requirements and unresolved coverage gaps visible before launch.
Coordinate delivery across product teams and control owners, making priorities, dependencies and trade-offs clear and escalating decisions that require accountable leadership.
Requirements:
5+ years in product ownership or product management, including end-to-end ownership of a product roadmap at a senior level.
Strong financial crime experience covering both fraud and money laundering, gained in fintech, banking, payments or another regulated business.
Hands-on experience building detection capabilities such as rules, models or transaction monitoring systems.
Experience using AI or automation to reduce manual alert review, for example automated customer outreach, while keeping people on complex cases.
Strong data skills: you understand where data comes from and how reliable it is, and you can evaluate detection using historical data, coverage and false-positive analysis.
Experience releasing changes to live controls safely, with testing, staged rollout, monitoring and rollback.
Excellent stakeholder management, including working with Compliance and control owners through approval processes.
Experience building or growing a product team is desirable.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.
Our approach to work
We recognize the power of both in person collaboration and remote work. Some roles are designated as remote-first, with an expectation that individuals work from their homes majority of the time, while others are designated as in-office roles, with an expectation of being on-site on a regular basis. Why this role exists
Our ML and analytics teams already work on fraud detection and risk analysis. This role owns the backend that turns their signals into reliable protections across accounts, credits, payments, and generation. You'll integrate risk checks into product flows, build enforcement services and operator tools, and make sure controls work correctly in production. We're looking for an engineer we can trust to take a backend problem from an unclear starting point to a working solution.
What you'll actually do
- Risk integrations: connect existing ML scores and risk signals to account creation, credit usage, payments, and generation flows, with clear timeouts and fallback behavior.
- Enforcement services: implement configurable rules, rate limits, account restrictions, and credit or payment controls with consistent behavior across services.
- Operator tooling: build APIs and workflows for reviewing cases, inspecting decision history, and safely applying or reversing restrictions.
- Production reliability: handle retries, duplicate events, concurrent requests, and safe rollouts; add monitoring and audit trails so failures can be traced and fixed.
- Work in other teams’ codebases to add signals or interventions without hurting their stability or architecture.
- Ownership: clarify the control with ML, analytics, and operations → scope the smallest useful implementation → ship → verify production behavior and review impact with the team. Our release cycle is days, not quarters, so your first shipped protection happens fast.
Must-haves
1. You've taken a difficult problem from an unclear starting point to a working system used in production, and can explain your own decisions, contribution, and results.
2. You can build reliable backend services: APIs, data models, queues, transactions, idempotency, and concurrency. You can integrate external services and debug failures across the request and event lifecycle.
3. You choose the next steps, remove blockers, and ask for help when needed. You cut scope to test an idea, adapt from evidence, and keep working through difficult problems.
4. You work with ML, analytics, and operations to turn risk requirements into clear backend behavior. You use operator feedback and customer cases to improve controls and learn unfamiliar systems quickly.
5. You take feedback, change your mind when the evidence changes, and do the work the team needs. You share knowledge and responsibility so others can operate and extend what you build.
Who this is not for
- You prefer problems where requirements stay stable after launch.
- You prefer work centered on training models or producing analysis rather than building and operating backend services.
Nice to have
- Fraud prevention, payments risk, or platform abuse experience.
- Integrating risk-scoring services or building rules engines and rate limiters.

ClickHouse Cloud, the fully managed version of the open source ClickHouse database, is available on AWS, GCP, and Azure. Customers can purchase directly from ClickHouse or through the cloud marketplaces. Billing is how every ClickHouse product reaches customers and shows up in our financials. As we add new products and new ways to buy, we are investing in our billing platform to scale with them. As Senior Product Manager for Billing and Marketplaces, you will own a key area of that work and report to the Director of Product Management, Billing and Marketplaces.
YOU WILL:
- Own the roadmap, execution, and launches for a key area of billing or marketplaces (for example metering and pricing, prepaid commit, or a cloud marketplace), working alongside engineering leads, Finance, and Sales Ops.
- Scope features with engineering, turn them into a clear near-term roadmap, and track them through to launch.
- Improve our prepaid commit capabilities, including customer-specific rate cards, contract changes and rollovers, customer-facing balance visibility, and spend alerts.
- Drive our cloud marketplace integrations across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including private offers, usage reporting, and subscription linking.
- Improve payment and collections flows, including dunning and delinquency handling, so customers are billed accurately and service is not interrupted by avoidable billing issues.
- Lead billing launches for new products and pricing models in partnership with Product Marketing, Sales, and Support.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on how customers are billed across the company.
YOU BRING:
- 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years owning billing, metering, payments, or commercial platforms for a cloud or usage-based product.
- Solid understanding of usage-based pricing, prepaid credits, and committed spend contracts, and how they translate into systems, invoices, and revenue.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure marketplaces, including private offers, co-sell, and metering APIs.
- Familiarity with payments across card, invoice, and marketplace channels, including dunning and delinquency flows.
- Working knowledge of order-to-cash, including invoicing, tax, multi-currency, and revenue recognition.
- Experience with third-party billing and payment platforms, such as Stripe or a usage-based billing vendor.
- A track record of independently leading complex projects across engineering, Finance, and go-to-market teams, from scoping through launch.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including presenting trade-offs to product and engineering leadership and explaining billing concepts to non-technical audiences.
BONUS POINTS:
- Experience at an infrastructure, database, or developer platform company.
- Comfortable going deep with engineers on event-driven architectures, data pipelines, and idempotency, and fluent enough in SQL to analyze billing data yourself.
