WorkOS builds modern developer tools and APIs that make it easy for companies to become Enterprise Ready. Our platform powers authentication, identity, authorization, and other critical infrastructure that developers need to securely scale their products to large organizations.
We recently raised a $100M Series C, valuing the company at $2B, led by Meritech and Sapphire with participation from Greenoaks, Craft, Abstract, and Audacious. WorkOS powers enterprise features for many of the fastest-growing AI companies, including OpenAI, Cursor, and Perplexity, Sierra, and Plaid.
As AI reshapes software, WorkOS is at the frontier of Human and Agent Authentication, Identity, and Access Control helping companies answer a new critical question: who are your agents, and what are they allowed to do? Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products.
About the role 💭
We’re looking for a commercially minded, AI-native BDR who enjoys understanding what technical teams are building and finding thoughtful ways to start conversations with them. You’ll combine account research, AI-assisted prospecting and engagement with the startup community to create qualified opportunities for our sales team. This is a hands-on outbound role: researching accounts, reaching out, following up and qualifying prospects are central to the job.
Responsibilities ✔️
- Creative Outbound Prospecting: Generate new leads through targeted outbound activities, including cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, events and other channels. We are looking for resourcefulness and innovation crafting new outbound strategies.
- AI-Powered Workflows: Build and improve lightweight AI-assisted workflows for account research, identifying relevant buying signals and preparing outreach. Validate sources, review messages before sending and use results to refine your approach. The goal is more relevant conversations and qualified opportunities, not automation or message volume for its own sake.
- Account Research: Research and identify key prospects, decision-makers, and stakeholders within target accounts to tailor your outreach efforts. Understand what a company is actually building — their stack, their auth setup, their scaling problems.
- Lead Qualification: Engage with prospects to understand their pain points, business needs, and how WorkOS can help solve their challenges, qualifying them for the sales team.
- Pipeline Development: Set up high-quality meetings and demos for Account Executives by nurturing leads through the sales funnel.
- CRM Hygiene: Diligently log all prospecting activities, conversations, and pipeline data in Salesforce (or other CRM systems) to maintain accurate records and forecast pipeline health.
- Metrics-Driven: Meet and exceed monthly quotas for outbound activities, including the number of meetings set, emails sent, calls made, and qualified opportunities created.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, WorkOS product developments, competitor offerings, and what's changing in AI and developer tooling — so you can position yourself as a trusted advisor to technical buyers.
Qualifications 🌟
- Experience: You have experience creating opportunities for a product, business or community. That could come from sales development, growth, partnerships, community building, a startup or your own project. A BDR title isn’t required, but you should be able to explain how you identified an audience, earned their attention, followed up and turned interest into a meaningful next step.
- Target Personas: Experience outbounding to cofounders and CTOs.
- AI-Native: You have personally built or materially improved an AI-assisted workflow and used it in practice. You can explain the problem, how the workflow works, what you contributed and how you checked its output. You know where automation helps and where human judgment is essential, and can describe what improved or what you changed when it failed.
- Community Engagement: You actively engage with startup or technical communities and can share how you have contributed, learned from others or built useful relationships. This might happen through your work, online discussions, events, customer communities or a project. We value curiosity, consistent contribution and thoughtful follow-through, not the size of your network or who you know.
- Writing Skills: Able to independently craft messages and campaigns to technical leaders. You use AI to draft and scale, but you have the judgment to know when the output isn't good enough to send.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft personalized messages that resonate with different audiences.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfort with understanding technical products and effectively communicating the value of WorkOS to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bonus if you can read API docs, poke at a codebase, or have shipped something yourself.
- Tools: Experience with a modern sales stack and AI tools. Examples include Salesforce, Gong, Loom, Outreach, Claude, ChatGPT and Clay; experience with these specific tools is not required.
- Curiosity & Adaptability: Willingness to learn, adapt quickly to new strategies, and stay curious about the industry and your prospects' needs.
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and able to manage your time effectively.
- You are located in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, able to work locally, available for in-person meetings with clients and customers, and able to attend in-person events as needed.

Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products.
ABOUT THE ROLE 💭
The Platform team builds the shared backend components and development systems that every WorkOS product, workflow, and team member depends on.
On the platform side, we build common backend capabilities used across WorkOS, including our events infrastructure, webhooks, email delivery, outbox-pattern queues, and more. These systems allow product teams to scale without rebuilding the same critical primitives. Because they sit on critical paths across our products, scalability, latency, consistency, reliability, and operational simplicity matter deeply.
On the productivity side, we build the systems that take code from an idea to production, including CI/CD, build and test infrastructure, deployment workflows, and internal tooling. As agents play a larger role in software development and increase the volume of code and concurrent changes, we are rethinking this platform to scale with that volume through safe execution, fast feedback, relevant context, and verifiable outcomes.
Our internal teams are our customers. Success means they can build and operate products faster, adopt shared capabilities instead of creating one-off solutions, and confidently delegate more work to agents.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON ✔️
- Design, build, and operate high-throughput, low-latency shared backend systems that preserve consistency and durability through retries, duplicates, reordering, partial failures, and high concurrency
- Create platform interfaces, abstractions, and paved paths with a clean developer experience that makes shared capabilities easy for product teams to adopt
- Rotate across and embed with product teams to experience their workflows directly, understand their friction, and use those insights to shape platform investments
- Map evolving product-team needs and collaborate with the Foundations team to introduce new systems and primitives, such as scalable search, database partitioning, and archival strategies
- Own and evolve our CI/CD, build, test, deployment, and release infrastructure to shorten feedback loops and make production changes safer
- Reimagine CI/CD for an agentic software development lifecycle by building isolated, reproducible, and verifiable execution environments, along with automated loops that allow agents to diagnose failures, update changes, rerun validation, and safely move work through review, deployment, and production verification
- Instrument the entire software development lifecycle and use metrics such as feedback time, CI reliability, deployment frequency, lead time, and change failure rate to identify bottlenecks and verify that platform investments improve engineering outcomes
- Own platform reliability end to end, including observability, capacity planning, incident response, root-cause analysis, and prevention
- Shape the long-term platform strategy with a high bar for introducing new infrastructure. Thoroughly evaluate vendors and existing solutions, make deliberate build-versus-buy decisions, and account for operational complexity, lock-in, migration cost, reversibility, and long-term ownership
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 🌟
- 8+ years of software development experience, with a track record of owning high-impact technical projects
- Experience building and operating distributed systems or platform services at scale, with a strong understanding of event-driven systems, queues, concurrency, idempotency, consistency, backpressure, retries, and failure recovery
- Experience building or operating CI/CD, build systems, test infrastructure, deployment platforms, or similar developer tooling
- A track record of designing platforms, frameworks, and tooling with a clean developer experience that makes complex capabilities easy for other engineers to adopt and operate
- Strong operational instincts across observability, capacity planning, incident response, and reliability
- Hands-on experience with AI coding agents, or a strong interest in building agentic CI/CD systems, verifiable execution environments, automated feedback loops, evaluations, and verification
- Exceptional pragmatism and technical judgment. You treat major infrastructure changes with the gravity they deserve and make deliberate, evidence-based decisions about when to build, buy, or improve an existing system
- Ability to move between long-term architecture and hands-on implementation while making thoughtful tradeoffs in an ambiguous environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience documenting systems and influencing technical direction across teams
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, React, Postgres, AWS, Terraform, and queueing or streaming systems such as SQS and Kinesis is helpful, but not required
We expect strong depth in either distributed platform systems or developer infrastructure, along with an interest in working across both.

ABOUT THE ROLE
WorkOS is building the developer platform for enterprise readiness and Developer Relations is a core part of how we earn trust with developers and show up in the community.
We’re looking for an events-forward DevRel leader who thrives in the room: organizing meetups, building community, representing WorkOS publicly, and creating technical content that drives real engagement. This role is especially impactful in San Francisco, where so much of our developer ecosystem lives in-person.
RESPONSIBILITIES ✔️
- Own and scale WorkOS’s developer events strategy (meetups, panels, workshops, office events)
- Represent WorkOS as a public-facing technical voice (talks, demos, community conversations)
- Create high-signal technical content that supports events and developer education (guides, talks, demos)
- Build relationships with developer communities and influencers across the ecosystem
- Partner with GTM, Product, and Engineering to bring community feedback into our roadmap and messaging
- Support talent and pipeline generation by building communities where great candidates and customers gather
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in Developer Relations, developer advocacy, community, or a highly technical marketing role
- Strong technical foundation and credibility with developers (you can demo, build, and explain)
- Bias toward doing: you can run events end-to-end and create content that ships
- Excellent communicator and facilitator. Comfortable on stage and in small group conversations
- High agency and a builder mindset; you’re energized by experimentation
- Bonus: Experience in developer tools, identity/auth, or enterprise readiness topics

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About Startups @ Vercel
The Vercel Startups org exists to help founders navigate the shift to AI-native development with confidence. Startups move faster than ever—what used to take years now happens in days—and the decisions founders make early can either unlock scale or become long-term constraints. We partner with startups at the critical moments where technical, commercial, and strategic support starts to matter most.
We’re a talent-dense team made up of former founders, engineers, and experienced go-to-market operators who bring firsthand experience building, scaling, and supporting modern software companies. Many of us have sat on the other side of the table, making architectural decisions, navigating tradeoffs, and scaling under real constraints, and we bring that perspective into every customer interaction.
We operate with a growth mindset and strong shared ownership. We dig deep to understand our customers, work closely across functions as one team, and find ways to win even when the path forward isn’t obvious. Resilience, curiosity, and a willingness to push through hard problems are table stakes here.
This is a team for people who want to operate with high trust, high agency, and high impact — alongside peers who care deeply about helping startups succeed.
About the role
You are an expert in Vercel, you have incredible pattern recognition, and are at the bleeding edge of the tech and tools defining how we live and work. In this role, you'll help startups unlock Vercel's full value from adoption through scaling—building relationships with founders and technical leaders who are making critical architectural decisions. You'll analyze usage patterns to identify expansion opportunities, coordinate cross-functional teams to drive outcomes, and guide teams as they adopt AI-native architectures. By leveraging automation and AI to maximize your impact, you'll help refine early plays into repeatable playbooks that scale across our startup portfolio.
If you’re based within commuting distance of our London office, the role includes in-office anchor days.
What you'll do
Build trusted relationships with founders, developers, and technical leaders by quickly developing deep understanding of their architecture, use cases, and technical constraints
Landing new logos, driving early activation, and making Vercel the default choice before competitors get in
Driving first activation, earning trust fast, and positioning Vercel as the obvious default stack
Focus on pipeline generation, outbound, identifying high-potential startups early
Partner with founders and developers as they adopt AI-native features and architectures, helping them understand how Vercel’s Frontend Cloud fits into a rapidly evolving developer ecosystem and supports new workloads, performance requirements, and scaling patterns
Use automation, agents, and self-built workflows to operate at high leverage and focus time and energy on the most impactful customer work
Operate comfortably in an evolving environment, helping refine early motions and turn what works into repeatable playbooks
What you need
We’re looking for someone who sits at the intersection of technical curiosity, commercial excellence, and startup mindset. You identify pattern recognition, have founder empathy, and have the ability to speak credibly to pre-seed through Series D companies and beyond who are making fast decisions.
You might be a great fit if you’ve developed this skill set through a range of paths—whether as a builder, founder, engineer, or in a technical go-to-market role—and you bring strong judgment, ownership, and curiosity to how you work.
In practice, this looks like someone who:
Learns complex technical products quickly and enjoys reasoning about how modern web and AI-native applications are built and scaled
Can speak comfortably with developers and founders, using their language and earning credibility through insight rather than titles
Has strong sales acumen and experience owning revenue outcomes across a range of deal sizes and complexities
Believes that the best revenue outcomes come from deeply successful customers, not transactional selling
Brings a thoughtful, opinionated point of view on modern web infrastructure, frontend performance, and scaling tradeoffs
Thrives in ambiguity and enjoys shaping how a team and motion evolves from early to more structured
Is energized by ownership, accountability, and helping customers make smart decisions
What This Role Is Not
Not a pure Customer Success role focused on reactive support
Not a transactional sales role detached from customer outcomes
Not a highly scripted role with narrow ownership or predefined motions
This role requires judgment, curiosity, and comfort operating across technical, strategic, and commercial dimensions.
Benefits:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

500M+ downloads. 80M+ monthly users. A decade of building – and we’re still accelerating.
Flo is the world’s #1 health & fitness app worldwide on a mission to build a better future for female health. Backed by a $200M investment led by General Atlantic, we became the first product of our kind to reach a $1B valuation in 2024 – and we’re not slowing down.
With 7M paid subscribers and the highest-rated experience in the App Store’s health category, we’ve spent 10 years earning trust at scale. Now, we’re building the next generation of digital health – AI-powered, privacy-first, clinically backed – to help our users know their body better.
The job
We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with strong LLM and product engineering experience to join our AI Platform team and help ship the AI-driven features across our app — including personalized in-app content recommendations, conversational AI-powered insights, and AI-generated mobile push notifications. You will focus on the product-facing behavior of our GenAI features (relevance, quality, latency, and safety), using the platform’s judges, fine-tuning pipelines, and evaluation tools, and contributing to infrastructure work (Databricks, AWS, Terraform) as initiatives require it.
What you’ll do
Feature development:
build and ship LLM-powered product features, including AI-generated mobile push notifications, personalized in-app content recommendations and custom user journeys, and conversational AI-powered insights — including structured output such as charts and widgets
Latency and UX:
reduce perceived and actual response latency through streaming, pregeneration, and inference-time tradeoffs, working closely with product and design on how AI output is experienced by users
Prompt and model behavior:
iterate on prompt design and calibration, use fine-tuned health-domain models (Llama, Gemma, MedGemma) where relevant, and work with the Judge-as-a-Service ecosystem to keep outputs safe and high quality
Experimentation:
help enable A/B testing for model and prompt changes, using evaluation gates to ship safely and measure impact
Data and evaluation:
contribute to synthetic Q&A generation, golden test sets, and evaluation dataset design that supports the features you’re building
Infrastructure:
contribute to Databricks, AWS (EKS), Terraform, or CI/CD work as initiatives require it
Cross-functional impact:
collaborate with Product, Security, Analytics, and Medical teams, and engage with technology partners (Databricks, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS) on pre-release capabilities relevant to your features
Experience and skills
Must have:
7+ years of software engineering, with recent hands-on experience building product features backed by LLMs
experience with at least one of: prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, fine-tuning, or model serving
strong Python, and comfort working with APIs/SDKs that wrap LLM calls, prompt templates, and structured outputs
product sensibility: a track record of shipping user-facing features, with attention to latency, tone, and quality of AI output as experienced by end users
comfort picking up new infrastructure tools (Databricks, AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions) as needed — deep prior expertise not required
Nice to have:
LLM evaluation frameworks (judges, graders, calibration methodology) or fine-tuning techniques (LoRA, RLHF/DPO, model distillation)
prompt optimisation frameworks (DSPy or similar)
feature stores or personalization/ranking experience (relevant to in-app content recommendation work)
healthcare, regulated-industry, or safety-critical AI systems experience
data engineering fundamentals (Spark, Delta tables, Parquet)

What you'll get
We support impact with meaningful reward. Here’s what that looks like:
Competitive salary and annual reviews
Opportunity to participate in Flo’s performance incentive scheme

About the role
Finance at Descript isn’t a back office function. It’s a strategic partner in shaping where and how we grow. This role exists to turn insight into leverage, helping the company make smarter bets, allocate capital effectively, and improve the efficiency of our go to market engine. You will report to the VP of Finance and operate as a senior individual contributor with high ownership.
Your scope covers the full growth funnel, from top of funnel through conversion, retention, and ARR. You will own GTM and growth models, partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Growth, and Data teams, act as a thought partner to GTM leadership on goal setting, performance tracking, and identifying growth opportunities across self serve, product led, and sales led motions.
We are looking for someone who sees GTM finance as both analytical and strategic. Someone who enjoys building models and metrics, but also shaping the narrative around growth. You are comfortable working directly in SQL, navigating imperfect data, and translating complexity into clear recommendations that influence how Descript grows.
What you will do
Own Descript’s top of funnel and growth models, from signups to paid conversion to ARR and retention.
Own sales-led revenue forecasting, including pipeline modeling, win rates, sales capacity, and quota-driven ARR.
Build and maintain GTM financial models including ARR builds, channel performance, cohort analysis, and scenario modeling.
Partner deeply with the data team to define metrics, improve data framework, and enable reliable self-serve analytics for finance and GTM.
Design and maintain dashboards for key GTM metrics such as signups by channel, conversion rates, new ARR, retention, and payback.
Identify growth opportunities across self-serve, product-led, and sales-assisted motions and quantify their impact.
Define GTM goal setting frameworks and track performance against targets.
Analyze marketing and growth efficiency, including ROI, CAC, payback, and funnel conversion.
Support pricing, packaging, and monetization initiatives with clear financial analysis.
Communicate insights to leadership in a clear, decision-oriented way, including exec and board materials when needed.
What you bring
7 to 10+ years of experience in strategic finance, GTM finance, growth analytics, or related roles at SaaS companies.
Strong GTM intuition with hands-on experience in top of funnel analysis, ARR modeling, and revenue forecasting.
Advanced SQL skills and the ability to self-serve data end to end.
Experience supporting both B2B and B2C SaaS models.
Strong financial modeling skills, especially around growth scenarios and funnel dynamics.
Experience supporting monetization experiments, pricing, and packaging
Experience partnering with data teams and working with large, imperfect datasets.
Clear communicator who can translate data into actions and recommendations.
Comfortable with ambiguity, high ownership, and building things from scratch.
Solid understanding of SaaS metrics across PLG and sales-led motions.
If you don’t tick every box above, we’d still encourage you to apply. We’re building a diverse team whose skills balance and complement one another.
The base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $215,000/year. Final offer amounts will carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, and location, and may vary from the amount above.
