Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
The IT Support team helps 1Password employees get the technology they need to do their best work every day. We combine hands-on troubleshooting with modern tools, AI, and workflow automation to resolve issues and elevate the overall employee experience. As an intern on our team, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to learn how support operations run, tackle real user requests, and help build smarter, faster support workflows.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada/US. This position will be for 4 months - January to April 2027.
What You Can Expect:
- Ticket intake and routing: Review new Freshservice tickets for completeness, apply categories and priorities using established guidelines, and route requests to the appropriate technician or team.
- Queue maintenance: Identify unassigned, aging, duplicate, or stalled tickets; follow up with ticket owners; and flag uneven workloads for the manager’s review.
- Reporting and administrative support: Compile standard reports on ticket volume, backlog, SLA performance, and common request types; prepare summaries for team meetings while leverage AI toolkit.
- Collaborating with people across the department like IT Engineering, Enterprise Systems, IT Operations, and the Workplace Technology teams.
- User communication and follow-up: Acknowledge requests, collect missing information using approved templates, share status updates, and confirm whether users still need assistance.
What we're looking for:
- Confidence: A willingness to take on new challenges, and see them through to completion.
- Humility: You're not afraid to ask "stupid" questions and make mistakes (as long as you learn from them).
- Curiosity: You look for better ways of doing things, even if everyone seems happy with how they are.
- Teamwork: We work together, and succeed as a team!
Bonus points for:
- Organization and attention to detail: Keeps ticket information accurate, tracks deadlines, and follows through on outstanding tasks.
- Clear, professional communication: Writes useful ticket notes, asks focused questions, and provides courteous updates to users and technicians.
- Prioritization and sound judgment: Follows established urgency guidelines, recognizes when a ticket needs attention, and escalates appropriately.
- Basic technical literacy and willingness to learn: Understands common workplace technology and can follow troubleshooting guides and learn Freshservice workflows.
- Discretion and respect for access boundaries: Handles information carefully, follows documented procedures, and recognizes when a request requires additional discovery or authorization
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged at 1Password—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
Our approach to remote work
We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of most roles. Frequency will depend on role and responsibilities, and may include, but is not limited to: annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and customer/industry events.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
What we offer
We believe in working hard, and rewarding that hard work through our benefits. While not an exhaustive list, here is a glance at what we currently offer:
🏝 Generous PTO policy - 2.08 days per month (1.5 work weeks per 4 month term)
💖 Company-wide wellness days (1 per quarter)

Company Description
We’re http://checkout.comCheckout.com http://Checkout.com. You might not know our name, but companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony do, because we’re behind many of the digital experiences you use every day.
We are where the world checks out, enabling over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers.
Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there’s a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale.
If you want to do career-defining work, you’ve come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact.
With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced IT Engineer II to join Checkout’s IT Engineering team, supporting Workplace Technology. In this generalist role, you will work across the services and platforms managed by the team, helping colleagues get the technology they need while keeping those services secure, reliable, and easy to use.
You will contribute across areas such as identity and access, end-user devices, collaboration and productivity platforms, IT assets and licences, and office technology. You are not expected to be a subject matter expert in every product. Instead, you bring strong technical foundations, depth in one or more areas, and the curiosity to build working knowledge across the wider portfolio.
At this level, you can confidently resolve all but the most complex problems affecting the team. You will own operational outcomes, deliver small-to-medium projects independently, and work with colleagues and stakeholders to improve the services we provide across Checkout.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Cross-Portfolio Service Ownership: Administer and improve services across the Workplace Technology portfolio. This may include Okta, Google Workspace, Atlassian, macOS and Windows endpoint management through tools such as Jamf and Microsoft Intune, IT asset and licence processes, and office technology.
- Identity and Access: Support secure identity lifecycle and access management, including joiner, mover, and leaver activities, single sign-on, group and role administration, and least-privilege access.
- End-User Technology: Help manage and support company endpoints and workplace services. Apply approved configurations and security controls, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to a consistent employee experience across platforms.
- Platform Administration: Configure and maintain team-managed applications and services. Learn unfamiliar platforms quickly, follow established governance, and identify when a change needs specialist or security review.
- Operational Excellence: Provide dependable operational support, maintain clear documentation and runbooks, and help the team improve service quality, reliability, and supportability.
- Incident and Change Management: Own incidents through the full lifecycle, from triage, prioritisation, and stakeholder communication through safe service restoration, root-cause analysis, and follow-up actions. Maintain accurate incident records, capture decisions and remediation, and document recurring issues and operational procedures in clear, current runbooks and knowledge articles. Plan and implement changes safely, with appropriate testing, approvals, and rollback plans.
- Project Delivery: Plan and deliver small-to-medium technical projects, coordinating with stakeholders and other teams to manage dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
- Automation and Improvement: Identify repeatable manual work and service friction. Propose or build appropriately controlled automation and simpler workflows to reduce toil and improve consistency.
- Asset and Licence Management: Support accurate technology inventory, licence administration, and lifecycle processes, helping the team make effective and responsible use of its tools and equipment.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share learning across the team, contribute to onboarding and operational guidance, and support colleagues as they develop their technical skills.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience: Typically 2-3+ years in IT engineering, workplace technology, systems administration, or a similar technical role.
- Technical Breadth: Practical experience supporting or administering a range of workplace technology services. You have a strong foundation in at least one relevant area and are motivated to build capability across others.
- Relevant Platforms: Experience with some of the following is useful: identity and access management (for example, Okta and SSO); Google Workspace; Atlassian products; macOS or Windows endpoint management (for example, Jamf or Microsoft Intune); SaaS administration; IT asset or licence management; or office technology. You do not need experience with every product listed.
- Security Mindset: Understand the importance of least privilege, secure configuration, data protection, auditability, and careful change management. You know when to escalate a risk or seek specialist guidance.
- Problem Solving: Take a logical, evidence-led approach to troubleshooting. Explain technical options and trade-offs clearly, and distinguish between immediate mitigation and long-term resolution.
- Ownership: Take responsibility for work from investigation through resolution and follow-up. Care about the long-term health of the services you support, not only closing individual requests.
- Communication: Work effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and technical teams. Translate technical detail into clear updates and provide helpful, user-focused support.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working across a varied technology estate, learning new tools, and balancing planned delivery with operational priorities in a changing environment.
- Teamwork: Share knowledge, ask for help when needed, and contribute positively to a team that works across multiple technical domains.

STAFF PRODUCT MANAGER, PRODUCT DISCOVERY ENGINE
ABOUT US
Constructor powers product search and discovery for some of the largest retailers in the world. We serve billions of requests every week, and you’ve probably seen our results somewhere and used our product without knowing it. We differentiate ourselves by focusing on metrics over features, and reinventing search and discovery from the ground up as a machine learning challenge with the specific goal of improving metrics like revenue. We’re approximately doubling year over year despite the market slowing down and have customers in every eCommerce vertical. We’re a passionate team of technologists who love solving problems and want to make our customers’ and coworkers’ lives better. We value empathy, openness, curiosity, continuous improvement, and are excited by metrics that matter. We believe that empowering everyone in a company to do what they think is best can lead to great things.
JOB SUMMARY
We’re looking for a systems-minded Staff Product Manager to take Constructor’s search and discovery to the state of the art — and keep it there — across every retail industry we serve. This is a highly technical, high-leverage role at the core of our Product Discovery Engine chapter: the teams responsible for how we retrieve, understand, and rank the right products for every shopper, on every query, for every customer.
Your job is to raise discovery quality and, through it, our customers’ business metrics. You won’t be measured on features shipped — you’ll be measured on relevance and business outcomes, like conversion, revenue per visit, and search-attributed GMV, moving up.
You’ll start embedded with our Search Quality team, owning its strategy and roadmap and getting deep into the systems that decide what shoppers actually see. Over time, your mandate grows to setting direction for the entire Product Discovery Engine chapter — deciding where we’re heading and why across recall, ranking, query understanding, personalization, and the ML infrastructure underneath. This is a Staff role today with a clear path to Director as you take on chapter-wide leadership.
Search at Constructor is fundamentally a machine learning problem, so this role lives and breathes ML. You’ll partner closely with ML, data science, and engineering to turn the latest research into production wins, keep us ahead of both commercial competitors and academic state of the art, and be the connective tissue that aligns multiple teams — ML Recall, ML Infra, and, over time, teams like CORE, SABR, and Catalog Management — behind a single, coherent vision for great discovery.
If you’re excited about driving innovation across dozens of the world’s largest retailers, being held to relevance and business outcomes, and pushing an already best-in-class product further ahead, this role is for you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own business impact, not features. Drive measurable lift in search-attributed conversion, revenue per visit, and GMV alongside relevance across our customer base.
- Deliver across every retail industry. Move quality and business metrics across all the verticals we serve, accounting for the differences in catalog, language, and shopper intent.
- Keep us at the state of the art. Continuously translate the latest ML / IR research and competitive moves into production wins, and ship SOTA ML / LLM-assisted capabilities that beat our previous best on relevance.
- Set chapter vision and strategy. Define the multi-quarter direction for the Product Discovery Engine — where we’re heading and why — tie it directly to customer business outcomes, and rally teams behind it.
- Lead Search Quality first. Own its strategy and roadmap, driving measurable improvements in the relevance and correctness of results.
- Orchestrate across the pipeline. Unify recall, ranking, query understanding, and personalization behind one definition of quality and one set of business metrics, so improvements compound instead of colliding.
- Turn ML research into production wins. Partner deeply with ML and data science to take models — from candidate generation and recall to LLM-assisted interpretation — from idea to production, balancing accuracy, latency, and cost.
- Make quality measurable and explainable. Build the metrics, evaluation frameworks, and tooling the whole chapter uses to measure, attribute, and explain discovery quality and its business impact.
- Own quality under pressure. Lead investigation and triage when issues arise, and design durable, systemic fixes rather than one-off patches.
- Grow the mandate. Expand into chapter-wide leadership spanning ML Recall, ML Infra, and — over time — teams like CORE, SABR, and Catalog Management.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Within your first year, you will have:
- Driven measurable lift in search-attributed conversion and revenue per visit — moving business metrics, not just quality metrics.
- Driven measurable business-metric lift (conversion, revenue per visit, GMV) and relevance lift across every major retail vertical we serve.
- Shipped at least one state-of-the-art ML / LLM-assisted capability into production that beats our previous best on relevance.
- Won head-to-head quality benchmarks against every major competitor in the verticals we compete in, with a repeatable, defensible methodology.
- Taken core quality metrics to best-in-class levels and kept them improving quarter over quarter.
- Stood up an evaluation framework and tooling that ties model and system investments directly to customer business outcomes.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Extensive product management experience (typically 8+ years) in search, discovery, ML, or NLP-heavy products, including time operating at a senior or staff level.
- A track record of moving business metrics at scale — conversion, revenue, engagement — not just shipping features, and of setting strategy across multiple teams.
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end search pipeline: query interpretation → recall / candidate generation → ranking → reranking → personalization → delivery.
- Strong ML product depth — owning production models and reasoning about tradeoffs between high-capacity (LLM / batch) and low-latency (real-time) approaches — and a habit of staying current with state-of-the-art research.
- Fluency with retrieval and recall, query understanding (tokenization, synonyms, spelling correction, multilingual support), and search evaluation frameworks.
- A rigorous, measurement-first mindset that ties every quality investment back to business outcomes.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership — able to align teams with different goals behind a shared definition of quality and a shared set of business metrics, working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering, data science, and ML Ops.
- Comfort operating with ambiguity, setting direction where none exists yet, and leading through clarity and credibility rather than the org chart.
BENEFITS
- Unlimited vacation time — we strongly encourage all of our employees to take at least 3 weeks per year.
- A competitive compensation package including stock options.
- Company-sponsored US health coverage (100% paid for employee).
- Fully remote team — choose where you live.
- Work-from-home stipend! We want you to have the resources you need to set up your home office.
- Apple laptops provided for new employees.
- Training and development budget for every employee, refreshed each year.
- Parental leave for qualified employees.
- Work with smart people who will help you grow and make a meaningful impact.
This position is fully remote — Constructor.io http://Constructor.io is a remote-first company.

Social Discovery Group
(SDG) is a group of social discovery companies. SDG solves the problems of loneliness, isolation, and disconnection - transforming virtual intimacy into the new normal. SDG’s products redefine the way people interact and connect with one another.
Our portfolio includes social entertainment platforms designed to connect people online across different cultures and regions of the world.
We bring together a team of like-minded people and IT professionals who specialize in creating and developing globally impactful social discovery products. Our international team of digital nomads works remotely from all over the world.
We’re proud to be a two-time “Great Place to Work” winner (USA & Japan, 2024–2025) and a Top-5 Company for Work-From-Anywhere Jobs (FlexJobs, 2025).
We are looking for
IT Support & Operations Specialist
.
Your main tasks will be:
Run the infrastructure end-to-end: VPS, dedicated servers, virtual machines, VPN, MFA, firewall, remote access — plus the monitoring, logging, and backups that keep it honest.
Administer Google Workspace completely — accounts, groups, aliases, security policy, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and any migrations that come with it.
Own Slack, OpenAI, and every other SaaS platform we run — including version and system migrations when they happen.
Be the actual IT support for a distributed team — L1/L2 on Mac and Windows, onboarding and offboarding, remote laptop setup, device lifecycle.
Negotiate with vendors, manage procurement, and control payment on cloud resources, licenses, and invoices — the part most sysadmins never touch, but you will.
Show up occasionally when we run an offline "station" and physically set up the room — laptops, mics, sound.
We expect from you:
You've spent 5+ years as a sysadmin or in IT ops, and you've actually run Google Workspace top to bottom — including a domain migration, not just user management.
You know Slack, Confluence, Jira, and SSO/2FA (Okta, Google, Azure AD or similar) from hands-on use, not a course.
You've got working knowledge of at least one public cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and the on-prem basics — DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, firewall.
You've built and tested backups, not just scheduled them, and you understand mail security (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) well enough to fix it when it breaks.
You've dealt with vendors and procurement directly — contracts, invoices, renewals — this isn't a nice-to-have here, it's half the job.
Scripting (bash/Python/PowerShell) is a plus, not a requirement.
Your English and Russian are both solid enough — B1+ — to run a call with a vendor without a script.
What do we offer:

Workplace organization.
The company provides all employees with an equipped workplace and all the necessary equipment (table, armchair, wifi, etc.) in our offices or co-working locations. You'll also contribute to experimentation infrastructure, laying the groundwork for future ML and intelligence initiatives.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Own the logic and rule-setting behind transaction monitoring across deposits and withdrawals, partnering closely with Compliance to study patterns and refine detection logic
- Translate compliance requirements into production detection logic, preserving correctness across alert eligibility, thresholds, customer segmentation, date windows, and deduplication
- Develop and maintain Python and SQL pipelines for transaction data preparation, feature engineering, and detection workflows
- Evaluate detection rules and analytical models across coverage, alert quality, threshold sensitivity, and the impact of proposed changes
- Design reproducible evaluations on historical data that account for limited labels, class imbalance, and shifts in customer behaviour over time
- Own testing, deployment, scheduling, monitoring, and operational support for detection workflows, including investigating data quality issues, pipeline failures, and unexpected changes in detection results
- Execute historical backfills with clear validation and traceability, and maintain reliable downstream alert delivery and integrations with compliance systems
- Be at the forefront of data innovation by experimenting, testing hypotheses, and translating insights into action, while incorporating software engineering best practices into pipelines and dashboards.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 7+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, and data management within the fintech, crypto, financial services, or gambling industry, gained in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience working with compliance, fraud, funding, finance, and customer support teams and analyzing large datasets, engineering features, and applying statistical methods to practical business problems
- Strong Python and SQL skills, with experience building and supporting production data or analytical systems
- Hands-on experience using dbt or similar tooling to model and organize high-fidelity data for reporting and decision-making
- Experience setting up and managing data pipelines with a strong understanding of workflow orchestration, plus strong software engineering practices including version control, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD
- Solid statistical foundation; ML exposure is a strong plus
- Proficiency with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Hex, Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to build executive-facing dashboards
- Ability to investigate production issues independently and communicate technical findings and uncertainty to non-technical stakeholders
- You believe wholeheartedly in the values outlined in Kraken's Tentaclements document
- A degree in a field emphasizing analytical rigor, such as analytics, software engineering, statistics, or economics
- Based in Canada, the US, or Brazil, and fluent in English
NICE TO HAVES
- Fraud detection, AML, anomaly detection, or other risk applications
- Experience with Athena, Trino, Kafka, and Kubernetes alongside the core Airflow/dbt/S3 stack
- Transaction pattern analysis, customer segmentation, and detection threshold tuning
- Developing or productionising machine learning models, including experiment tracking and performance monitoring
- Working with sparse or delayed feedback from investigations to evaluate and improve detection
- Explainability, auditability, and change control in regulated environments
