Location: Philippines Alvys is building modern infrastructure for the logistics industry. Our cloud-based TMS (Transportation Management System) powers freight operations with intuitive workflows, real-time visibility, and deep automation—helping carriers and brokers scale faster and operate smarter. We’re a fast-growing startup backed by top investors and are passionate about solving real-world problems for an essential industry. We’re looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Accounting Manager. In this high-impact role, you’ll be responsible for establishing scalable processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, and enabling operational excellence as we grow. Role overview Alvys builds the transportation management platform that carriers and brokers use to run their businesses. As we scale, we’re building a finance function that is rigorous, hands-on and increasingly automated. We’re hiring an Accounting Manager to take ownership of the accounting engine behind that growth and work closely with the Head of Finance as the senior accounting lead on the team. You’ll own the full accounting cycle — month-end close, general ledger, revenue, AP, payroll, tax and audit readiness — with responsibility for producing a clean, accurate and defensible set of books. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the ledger deeply enough to explain what changed, why it changed and what needs attention. You’ll run the close end to end, review the work prepared by the team, own the areas that require judgment, and step into the details when needed. You’ll also help develop the team, strengthen our processes and continue building the automation layer behind the finance function. Key responsibilities Month-end close and general ledger Own the close calendar end to end — task assignment, deadlines, review, and the close results package delivered to the Head of Finance. Review and post the journal entries prepared by the team, and prepare the entries that carry judgment — commission and bonus accruals, payroll true-ups, and period-end reclasses. Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations covering cash, AR, deferred revenue, prepaids and accruals. Run flux analysis (MoM, YoY) across the P&L and balance sheet, and write variance commentary that explains the movement. Maintain the chart of accounts and product master lists, and keep reporting mappings current. Revenue reporting and billing oversight Review and approve the monthly revenue close prepared by the billing analyst — the reconciliation of subscription and non-subscription revenue across Stripe, Salesforce and QuickBooks Online, and the entries that come out of it. Own revenue recognition policy under ASC 606 and make the judgment calls: usage overages, multi-element contracts, contract modifications, concessions and early terminations. Own annual recurring revenue reporting (ARR and CARR) — the monthly build, the roll-forward of new, expansion, contraction and churn, and the tie-out of that roll-forward back to booked revenue in the general ledger. Connect recurring revenue reporting to Salesforce pipeline and contract reporting, reconciling bookings, billings and recognized revenue with the billing analyst. Oversee invoicing, collections and the dunning cycle. Approve concessions, credit memos and refunds, and review the deferred revenue schedule against the billing system. Accounts payable, expenses and payroll Oversee vendor bills, payment runs and employee reimbursements in Ramp, in partnership with People Operations. Partner with People Operations on domestic and international payroll — review the runs, journalize them, and reconcile the clearing and benefits-payable accounts. Review commission calculations and book the corresponding accruals and true-ups. Financial reporting and expense forecasting Update the monthly expense forecast off closed actuals — run rate by department and GL account, vendor and contract commitments, headcount and compensation roll-forward. Maintain the amortization and accrual schedules that drive forward-looking operating expense, and carry the changes into the forecast as they’re booked. Explain spend variance against budget at the account and department level, and keep the supporting detail current for leadership reporting. Tax, compliance and audit Coordinate with our external advisors on federal, state and franchise tax filings. Own sales tax, 1099 and entity registration compliance. Run audit readiness and execution: PBC lists, supporting schedules, and auditor questions. Team and process Manage and develop a small analyst team covering AP and expense operations, and billing and AR. Serve as backup across the team’s work, and as the Head of Finance’s delegate on accounting matters. Own the accounting SOP library, the close checklist and the task repository, and keep all three current. Find manual and inefficient processes and eliminate them as we target an “autonomous close.” Our close, billing and reconciliation processes already run on a growing set of automations, and this role is expected to extend them. Minimum qualifications Experience 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of a full close cycle and hands-on balance sheet reconciliation. Solid full general ledger background — you’ve prepared and reviewed entries across payroll, accruals and revenue, can defend a balance, and understand how accounting activity flows through the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement. Revenue recognition experience under ASC 606 in a subscription business. Experience managing, reviewing and developing other accountants. Systems QuickBooks Online — required. Daily hands-on experience: chart of accounts, journal entries, bank reconciliation, reporting. Stripe — required. Subscriptions, invoices, credit memos, disputes, payouts, and reconciling subscription billing activity into the general ledger. Advanced Google Sheets. Pivots, lookups, nested logic, data validation. Salesforce is a significant plus. AI fluency and automation — required Demonstrated, current use of AI in your accounting work. Be ready to tell us what you’ve automated, what it replaced, and how much time it gave back. Comfort writing prompts, iterating on output, and knowing when not to trust it. Everything AI produces is reviewed before it touches the ledger. Our finance function runs on a library of custom AI workflows built in-house. You’ll use them daily and be expected to build on them. Preferred CPA or active CPA candidate — someone committed to a career in accounting and finance. SaaS or technology industry experience. Prior exposure to a modern expense, HRIS or close-management platform. Personal attributes Hands-on by instinct. You review the work, and you prepare it yourself when the cycle calls for it — working a reconciliation, chasing a variance or covering a teammate’s queue during close week. Comfortable operating on a small team where the person who owns the number also understands and builds the schedule behind it. Growth mindset. This role is deliberately scoped to expand, and we’re looking for someone who wants that. Clear written communication. A large share of this job is explaining a variance or accounting issue to someone who does not work in finance. Why Alvys Ownership. You’ll run the close and monthly financial reporting, with direct review from and partnership with the Head of Finance. Modern stack. A cloud-native finance stack — QuickBooks Online, Stripe and Salesforce at the core — with an AI tooling layer we build ourselves. Proximity to decisions. You’ll work directly with leadership and have real influence on how the accounting function is built as the company scales. Growth. This role is designed to expand in scope, with a path toward Controller as the business and finance organization mature. Collaborative culture. Mission-driven people building the future of logistics technology, grounded in trust and transparency. Alvys — Join our Team If this sounds like your next challenge, we’d like to hear from you. If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future. This is a Director-level individual contributor role, designed for an experienced leader who drives strategic impact through deep expertise, cross-functional influence, and ownership of key initiatives rather than direct people management. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product, the Director of Product, AI Growth grows 1Password's new business in artificial intelligence. In this role, you own driving growth for our AI opportunities by identifying which customers we target, which outcomes we win on, and proving it with design customers. You scale growth through our go-to-market organization and through partnerships with the agent ecosystem and channel partners. How we’re using AI today Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US. What we're looking for: - Minimum of 8 years of product management experience, including experience carrying a revenue or adoption target, with a preference for experience in security products, agentic products, or developer tools. - Experience owning the strategy for a new product area or market entry, and taking it from hypothesis to customers running in production. - Experience working directly with enterprise customers on a technical deployment, as the person accountable for the outcome, and turning what those deployments proved into a repeatable motion a sales team can run. - Experience building technology partnerships and integrations, including judging where a product should sit in a larger technology ecosystem and working with business development on commercial terms. - Technical depth to hold a credible conversation with developers and security architects about how AI agents are built, deployed, and given access to systems. - Demonstrated ability to build alignment across go-to-market and engineering teams toward a shared goal, without direct authority over either. - Demonstrated ability to make decisions and move work forward with incomplete information in a fast-changing market. - Takes ownership end to end, including the work that falls between teams. - Works AI-first: uses agents in daily work, and applies their own judgement to decisions, product taste, and customer and internal relationships. - Preferred: familiarity with agentic access products, meaning the products that give AI agents credentials and access to the systems they work in. What you can expect: GROWTH STRATEGY - Own the growth thesis for 1Password's AI opportunities, covering the customer segments we target, the outcomes we deliver that we win on, and the workflows we get embedded into. Revise it as evidence arrives from customers, partners, and the market. - Form and test hypotheses using customer feedback, product usage data, partner input, and market research gathered with the go-to-market, product, user experience, and product marketing teams. - Lead a weekly business review that brings the voice of the customer, field feedback, and product usage telemetry into one view, so the team can refine targets, forecast the roadmap's impact on growth, and prioritize the blockers that hold adoption back. - Identify what stops customers from adopting, and drive each blocker to a resolution with the product team that owns it. DESIGN CUSTOMER PROGRAM - Run the design customer program for new artificial intelligence opportunities, from selecting customers through to delivered outcomes. - Act as the general contractor for each design customer: the single person accountable for getting that customer deployed on 1Password for their agentic access, and for delivering the security and convenience outcomes they came for. Coordinate every team the deployment touches, and build what it requires together with a forward deployed engineering team. - Bring in solutions engineering, customer success, and product managers to help each customer reach their goal, and run feature betas with the product managers who own those features. - Turn what the program proves into the repeatable signal the company needs to scale, meaning the customer evidence, the deployment pattern, and the measured outcomes that the go-to-market and channel teams build sales plays on. - Improve the program each cycle so it reaches more design customers, raises delivery success rates and customer satisfaction, and shortens the time it takes the company to commercialize a new product. PARTNERSHIPS - Decide where 1Password should play in the customer's artificial intelligence stack to deliver the most customer value in securing agent access. Agent access can be controlled at several points in that stack, so weigh those points and choose the ones that solve the most of the customer's problem, rather than the ones we fit into most easily. Base the call on how customers run AI today and on how the industry is evolving. - Identify and pursue the partnerships that let us play at those points and that complete an end-to-end customer outcome, meaning the outcome a customer cannot reach with 1Password alone. - Work with partners to deliver integrations, and find the patterns that let us repeat an integration across similar partners instead of building each one from scratch. - Work with the business development team to structure commercial relationships that grow both companies' business and deliver value to shared customers. Location: Remote - US West About the Job: We're looking for a senior security leader to run our Product Security team and partner to the Director of Security. In this role, you'll own how Security operates: a program led by risk rather than audit calendars, where engineering teams own their security health and Security informs, guides, and validates, where automation and AI take the first pass on every finding, and where posture is measured and published to executives every quarter. You'll build that model, starting with Product Security and extending across the division. You'll bring a balance of people management, security judgment, and program leadership as you manage a team of security engineers, act as incident manager of record, hold delegated approval for vendor and access decisions, and run the division when the Director is in an audit, a board cycle, or on vacation. You'll work closely with every engineering team to make the secure path the easy one. Responsibilities: Manage the portfolio of your team's work, appropriately managing everyone's time and assigning them to the highest priority work. Help your team and the engineering organization make sense of, and simplify, how security work gets done: who owns what, what is automated, and what Security stops doing. Guide product engineering teams in owning their own security health: findings route to them with mapped severity, Security reviews and validates rather than fixes, and each team sees its security health in its own service review. Own the wiring and routing of security findings and requests, driving down noise and the human-decision rate across intake, triage, and review. Serve as incident manager of record for security incidents: first escalation for our service-level commitments, delegated approver for vendor and access decisions, and cover for the Director's operational duties. Publish posture: monthly service-level attainment to engineering, quarterly posture to the executive team, and a risk register that drives priorities. About You: You have led a security team out of the gatekeeper model once already, and you can say what teams owned afterward, what Security stopped doing, and what the numbers did. You think in risk, not control lists, and you would rather defend a priority call than a checklist. You treat automation and AI as the first responder and yourself as the escalation path. You have been the second leader to a director or CISO and know which decisions to make in their name. You have run security incidents end to end, including the comms and the review afterward. You were a strong Senior or Staff security engineer before you managed, and you can still read a PR, a threat model, or a cloud finding and make a call. You track and drive metrics, and you understand what they can and can't tell you. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in a formal security or engineering management role, including managing senior engineers. Experience moving a security function from gatekeeper to team ownership, with measurable results. Experience as incident manager for security incidents at a SaaS company, including external communication. Experience guiding teams through technical tradeoffs and developing senior engineers' careers. The ability to track and drive metrics, and the wisdom to understand what they can and can't tell you. Familiarity with AWS security at scale and with external audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP) as a participant or control owner. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A thoughtful, empathetic approach to leadership and collaboration. Pay: Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level M3: Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or NYC Metropolitan Area, Boston, Seattle - $240,600 - 330,700* Zone 2: Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago - $216,500 - 297,600 ** Zone 3: All other US locations - $ 204,500 - 281,100 ** All Zones Inclusive of 15% Bonus Target LaunchDarkly operates from a place of high trust and transparency; we are happy to state the pay range for our open roles to best align with your needs. Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. About the role We're looking for a People Systems Manager, Workday to join our People team and build the foundation for how People technology operates at Vercel. We've recently implemented Workday as our system of record, and we're just getting started. As we expand its capabilities and build toward public-company-ready operations, we need someone to own the architecture, security, business processes, and governance behind it. We're building a headless People technology experience, with Workday as the engine behind it, not a traditional HR technology stack. Employees and managers will initiate transactions, access their data, and navigate People processes directly from the tools they already use. You'll make that possible, working closely with integration engineers to connect Workday's security model and Business Process Framework to the experiences we're building. This is a hands-on IC role with real ownership over how Workday operates at Vercel. You'll set standards, make architectural decisions, and build systems that scale, reducing manual work, strengthening controls, and creating data our growing People analytics function can trust. If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. What you'll do Own the configuration, security architecture, and Business Process Framework that power Workday at Vercel, and make the architectural calls that balance flexibility, scalability, and control as we grow. Partner with integration engineers to design business processes and security configurations for transactions initiated through Slack, internal apps, and other tools, making Workday accessible beyond its native interface without compromising governance or data integrity. Establish role-based security, segregation of duties, change management, and audit controls from the ground up, and automate what's needed for SOX, SOC 2, and public company readiness without adding friction. Configure and optimize business processes for core People operations, equity, commissions, one-time payments, and clawbacks, partnering with Finance, Total Rewards, Payroll, and Legal to bring new capabilities into Workday accurately and auditably. Set standards for data governance, reporting architecture, calculated fields, and data quality, so Workday stays a reliable source of truth as our analytics and self-service reporting mature. Own release management, regression testing, and configuration change control. Find the root causes of recurring friction and fix them through better configuration, automation, and process design, and partner with auditors on evidence, walkthroughs, and remediation. What you need 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience across security, business processes, reporting, and core configuration. Strong grasp of Workday's security architecture and Business Process Framework, including role-based access, security groups, business process policies, approvals, and segregation of duties. Experience building or evolving a Workday environment, including configuration standards, governance frameworks, and scalable business processes in a growing organization. Experience designing and implementing Workday security, governance, and internal controls that support SOX compliance and audit readiness. Workday reporting and data management experience, including calculated fields, advanced and composite reports, data validation, and reporting governance. Experience in interconnected HR technology environments, understanding how Workday security, business processes, and data architecture affect downstream systems and automated workflows. Bonus if you Have experience with Workday Payroll or complex compensation processes, including equity and commission payments.
