Senior Specialist, T2 (Target2) Payment Operations
Location: Remote in Netherlands, Spain, Cyprus or Poland
The role
We’re moving from indirect to direct participation in TARGET2 (T2), and we need someone to own the operational side end to end. You’ll design and document the Payment Operations processes, validate them in the August UAT, cut over BIC by BIC, and then run them as business-as-usual. You’ll be the operational contact for the T2 scheme, DNB and our partner banks.
What you’ll do
Own core payment processes: SCT / SCT Inst recalls, investigations (including pacs.028), SWIFT enquiries (MT199/MT999, RFIs), missing or incoming funds, and rejects, returns and refunds.
Run the T2 platform day to day: work in the T2 GUI (U2A/A2A), maintain CRDM reference data, and set up four-eyes controls and the manual-vs-automated split.
Manage the migration: move traffic from BNP Paribas to direct participation, with every payment traceable by BIC and path, and define when each BNPP-dependent step can be retired.
Cover reconciliation and liquidity: be the Payment Ops link to the reconciliation team (funding and defunding stay with Finance Ops/Treasury).
Handle incidents and contingency: build the incident process around DNB, FIS and TARGET escalation routes, own Payment Ops’ role in DNB reporting, and define the ECONS II contingency approach.
Coordinate with others: work with the Eurosystem, DNB, SWIFT/NEXI, FIS and correspondent banks, and partner with Product and Engineering to specify how the platform should behave.
What success looks like
Every direct-participation process has an owner, documented procedures, and passing UAT evidence.
The migration causes no impact on customers, and Customer Support has clear guidance.
After go-live, T2 runs as stable BAU with no remaining BNPP operational dependency.
What we’re looking for
Hands-on experience with T2 / TARGET Services (RTGS, TIPS), including the GUI and U2A/A2A actions
Around 2-3+ years in payment operations at a bank, EMI or PSP, ideally with SEPA schemes (SCT, SCT Inst)
Familiarity with investigations, recalls, returns and SWIFT / ISO 20022 messaging
Experience writing SOPs and controls, or the ability to pick it up quickly
Comfort working with regulators, partners and technical teams
Enough ownership to make sign-off and escalation decisions with support from the team
Fluent English
Nice to have
Experience with CRDM reference-data maintenance
Involvement in a direct-participation onboarding or sponsor-bank migration
Knowledge of DNB / TARGET-NL conditions, IPR, PSD2, or ECONS II contingency processes

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's sales organization is growing quickly across segments, industries, and geographies, and how we sell has to mature as fast as the team does. We are looking for a Head of Sales Excellence & Methodology to own the substance of sales enablement at Anthropic: the sales methodology itself, the standard for what excellent selling looks like here, and the change management that makes it stick in the field.
You will define a common way of selling that holds up across very different customers, from startups to the largest global enterprises, and then lead the organization through adopting it. That means earning sponsorship from senior sales leadership, equipping frontline managers to coach to the methodology instead of only inspecting for it, and building alongside sellers so the result reflects how deals are really won.
This is a leadership role for someone who has taken a sales organization through real transformation and can show that it changed behavior and results. You will set direction, [build and lead a team], and stay close enough to the field to know when something is not working.
Key responsibilities:
Define, document, and evolve Anthropic's sales methodology and process standards, including discovery, qualification, deal strategy, and deal review, so that sellers in every segment and region share a common language
Design and run the rollout and reinforcement of methodology changes across the sales organization, securing executive sponsorship and making clear what is expected of each level of sales leadership
Equip frontline managers to coach to the methodology in pipeline reviews, deal reviews, and forecasting, so that it becomes part of the operating rhythm
Sequence and deliver complex, multi-audience programs across geographies, segments, industries, and roles that scale globally while adapting where local or segment differences matter
Develop content, frameworks, and standards together with sellers and sales leaders, testing them on live deals before scaling
Define the leading and lagging indicators that show whether the methodology is changing seller behavior and outcomes, and act on what the data shows
Partner with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Product, Marketing, and the wider Sales Enablement team so the methodology is reflected in systems, messaging, and day-to-day workflows
Apply Claude and internal tooling to personalize coaching and reinforcement, so that quality does not depend on headcount
Minimum qualifications:
Practitioner-level expertise in sales methodology and sales process design, including discovery, qualification, deal strategy, deal review, and forecasting
Have led a methodology or sales process change across a sales organization, and can show how seller behavior and results changed as a result
Have run enablement or sales excellence programs spanning multiple geographies, segments, industries, or roles
Have worked directly with senior sales leaders and frontline managers to secure sponsorship for change, including holding a position constructively when they disagreed
Have built programs with sellers and sales leaders, testing them on live deals, instead of handing down finished programs
Have defined and tracked adoption and impact measures that go beyond completion and satisfaction scores
Communicate clearly, in writing and in conversation, with executive audiences
Preferred qualifications:
Experience building and leading a team of senior enablement or sales excellence professionals
A clear, experience-based view of where common sales methodologies break down in practice
Prior experience carrying a quota or leading a sales team
Experience at an AI company or an enterprise technology company during a period of rapid sales team scaling
Hands-on experience using Claude or similar AI tools to automate or personalize coaching and reinforcement
Experience selling, or enabling the sale of, complex technical products to both technical and business buyers
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$310,000
—
$360,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

About the Team
Cloud Infrastructure Engineering is a critical engineering discipline and a job function in the company. Its charter is to build tools and infrastructure that promote early detection of production failures, leading to a stellar customer experience.
Our work is to drive safety, health and uptime of our platform, and the ability to remedy unforeseen problems. By removing some of the complex burdens on how to scale and maintain uptime in distributed systems, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer allows development teams to focus on feature development instead of the nuances of achieving and maintaining service level commitments.
About the Opportunity:
We’re looking for a creative and driven individual that can spearhead our effort to push “outside the box” infrastructure implementations, that will have a tremendous impact on our platform’s stability and scalability.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Responsible for the maintenance and configuration of AWS products and services
Responsible for the research, architecture and project implementation solutions based on AWS products
Responsible for the daily maintenance of each AWS cloud environment
Support the deployment, maintenance and scaling of big data and machine learning platforms (e.g., Databricks, AWS SageMaker, Aliyun DSW) to enable data processing and model training workflows
Own the Databricks platform on AWS end to end: workspace provisioning, account/workspace configuration, cluster policies, instance pools, and SQL warehouses, managed as code via the Databricks Terraform provider
Monitor and optimize Databricks cost and performance, including cluster sizing and autoscaling, Photon/serverless adoption, DBU usage tracking via system tables, and job reliability tuning
Automate the provisioning, scaling, and configuration of infrastructure resources using tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
Assist the team in troubleshooting and resolving production database issues during incidents
Monitor company services and handle alerts in a timely manner to ensure service stability and uptime
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features
Design, build and maintain internal platforms and tooling to improve operational efficiency, and support unified multi-cloud management across AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and other providers
What We Look For In You:
Bachelors degree or above, major in Computer Science or relevant domains, with over 6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, DBA or related positions
Proficient in AWS distributed management, large-scale clustering, fault tolerance, backup, load balancing and other technologies
Have a deep understanding of high availability architecture, capacity planning, and rich experience in handling complex problems
Have solid Linux platform operation and maintenance and debugging capabilities, and be proficient in troubleshooting, configuration tuning, and performance analysis
Familiar with Kubernetes (k8s) for container orchestration and management
Familiar with the functional features of AWS products and core products, and have rich practical experience in deployment and tuning of EC2, EKS, VPC, or big data products
Experience with microservices architecture, including deployment, scaling, and maintenance
Experience in monitoring, O&M and management of AWS large-scale servers and containers
Experience in relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL or big-data storage systems (e.g., Redis, MongoDB, HBase) is a plus
Hands-on experience with big data / machine learning platforms such as Databricks, AWS SageMaker, or Aliyun DSW, including supporting data pipelines, notebook environments, and model training/deployment workflows
Familiar with the deployment, configuration and maintenance of Nginx, kong and other software
Proficient in using Python/Go/shell for development
Strong engineering skills, proficient in at least one infrastructure sub-area, public cloud networking, SRE, DevOps or cloud-native
Experience with internal developer platforms and proficiency in AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) to improve engineering efficiency
Working knowledge of Terraform or similar IaC tools is a plus
Excellent business analysis ability, system architecture ability, and problem-solving ability. and strong self-drive
