ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and deliver production-grade AI agents https://sierra.ai/blog/meet-the-ai-agent-engineer: You'll build and ship highly performant, reliable, and intuitive AI agents that are central, mission-critical and drive revenue directly to Sierra's growth. These aren't prototypes—they are powerful, scalable systems running in production environments across industries like finance, healthcare, and commerce.
- Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle https://sierra.ai/blog/agent-development-life-cycle (ADLC): You'll have complete ownership and autonomy from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration. You'll be responsible for building, tuning, and evolving AI agents in production environments, defining the standard for ADLC best practices along the way.
- Partner with large enterprises and cutting-edge startups: You’ll work directly with leaders at some of the world’s largest enterprises to understand their most pressing business challenges, and build AI agents that transform how they operate at scale. You'll also partner with the most cutting-edge startups, embedding AI agents across their entire business stack to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Build the future of the platform: Your direct work with customers will guide the evolution of Sierra's core platform. You'll surface unmet needs, prototype new tools and features, and collaborate with research, product, and platform to shape the future of AI agent development and Sierra's product.

- Create generalizable AI agent frameworks tailored for industry-specific use cases. See some examples in our financial services blog https://sierra.ai/blog/five-ways-to-use-ai-agents-financial-services!
- Facilitate design partnerships for new product initiatives, such as new agent architectures, self-service capabilities, and generative agent development
- Experiment with the latest voice models and figure out how to integrate them at scale to enterprise-grade customers

- Strong technical problem-solving skills, especially in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
- A builder and tinkerer’s mindset with high agency - you find creative ways to overcome obstacles and ship

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Agent Strategist https://sierra.ai/blog/agent-strategist-your-phd-in-applied-ai, you own how Sierra's AI agents come to life for our customers — from first pilot to a production agent handling thousands of conversations a day. You sit at the intersection of product, building agents and customer-facing work, and stay just as close to the technology as you are to the people you build for. You transform a customer's thorniest, highest-stakes problems into agents that measurably move their business.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle https://sierra.ai/blog/agent-development-life-cycle. Take agents from initial scope through conversation design, tooling, and evaluation, to launch and continuous iteration in production — translating business goals into an agent that outperforms, and tuning relentlessly until it's the best version of itself in the real world. You'll have real ownership and autonomy over the outcome.
- Be the trusted strategic advisor to enterprise leaders. Sit shoulder-to-shoulder with our customers' executives, understand what success actually means to their business, and shape the AI strategy that gets them there.
- Partner with the customer's working teams day to day. Run working sessions, troubleshoot the agent as issues come up, and make the calls that keep the build on track for launch.
- Directly impact product. Surface unmet needs from your customer work, and feed them back to research and platform to shape where Sierra goes next.
EXAMPLE PROJECTS
These are the kinds of projects that strategists on our team have worked on recently:
- Scope and launch a subscription-retention agent for a large telecommunications or media company that consistently outperforms human agents at saving at-risk customers.
- Stand up an agent for a commerce customer that troubleshoots a broken device end-to-end and personalizes product recommendations in the same conversation.
- Redesign the conversation flows for a financial services agent so it can handle complex, regulated interactions — and convert a pilot into a multi-team production deployment. See our financial services blog https://sierra.ai/blog/five-ways-to-use-ai-agents-financial-services for examples.
- Partner with product on a net-new capability — a new agent architecture or self-service tooling — using a live customer as the design partner.
- Define the evaluation and quality bar for a new agent, then use those metrics to drive a measurable lift in outcome https://sierra.ai/blog/outcome-based-pricing-for-ai-agents week over week.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Customer obsession. Genuine energy being in front of customers — understanding their business and needs, thriving in complex organizations, and building trusted relationships.
- Communication. Strong English and Korean communication skills. Clear, direct, and persuasive across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic problem-solving in ambiguity. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to break down complex problems, spot risks early, and adapt as things change fast.
- Technical aptitude. Comfortable engaging directly with technical concepts - reading API documentation, understanding data models and system architecture, and following engineering tradeoffs in a design discussion.
- Ownership and delivery. A track record of running multiple complex, high-visibility projects at once and driving them to outcomes.
EVEN BETTER...
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM agents in production — hands-on with the tools behind them (eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, prompt engineering) — working closely with technical counterparts.
- You've been a founder, founding team member, or operator — you know how to balance craft, ownership, and speed.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience — and/or an MBA or comparable experience at the intersection of technology and business.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.

Workplace: Hybrid
OUR STORY:
Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.
Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Taxfix is building something most companies only talk about: a fully agentic infrastructure layer that every team in the company will depend on. And right now, IT is either the foundation that makes that possible — or the bottleneck that slows it down.
As our Director of Security & IT, you are the difference between those two outcomes. This is not a traditional IT Director role. You won't be managing tickets or keeping the lights on. You'll be building a platform function from the ground up — one that gives every hybrid human-agent team at Taxfix the speed, security, and confidence to move without friction. Reporting to our Chief People Officer and working closely with our Systems Engineer and cross-functional partners across Engineering, Legal, Finance, and People Ops, you'll define the infrastructure and security foundation that turns our agentic ambitions into reality.
The best outcome in this role isn't that IT stays out of the way — it's that IT raises the bar for how the whole organization operates. You'll set standards that others build to, make calls that shape Taxfix's security posture for years, and build the infrastructure layer that our agentic ambitions depend on. This role comes with real authority and real accountability. If you want to be the person who defines what modern IT looks like at a company that's genuinely building the future of work — this is that job.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the vision and roadmap for Taxfix's internal infrastructure and tooling layer, driving the transition from IT as a ticket-resolving function to an internal platform product that enables every hybrid human-agent team to move faster and more securely.
- Lead and develop the IT team — including helpdesk, systems engineering, and the incoming Security & Platform Engineer — ensuring clear ownership, structured growth paths, and a high-performing team culture through a period of significant structural change.
- Own all core IT operations: device management (MDM), identity and access management, workplace technology, SaaS tooling, third-party network provider relationship, and hardware provisioning — maintaining reliability, cost controlling and service quality while progressively raising the bar on what "good" looks like.
- Set the security strategy and posture for Taxfix's systems and agent ecosystem, embedding security continuously into platform infrastructure rather than applying it as a gate at the end.
- Work closely with our Systems Engineers and the agentic framework team to build and document the agentic platform layer — including secure sandboxes, credential vaults, and CI/CD pipelines — ensuring infrastructure decisions support the organisation's agentic ambitions.
- Own IT-specific risk management, compliance controls, and audit readiness across internal systems and infrastructure, partnering with Legal, Compliance, and enterprise risk owners on GDPR/DSGVO, SOC 2, and applicable financial regulatory requirements.
- Manage supplier relationships and lead the build and lead the build/buy/partner evaluation, making a long-term recommendation grounded in both technical and business considerations.
- Be the business-facing voice for IT in leadership conversations — translating infrastructure and security decisions into clear business terms and building trusted relationships with Engineering, Legal, Finance, and People Ops.
- Define and track platform health metrics, service quality, and internal adoption — including establishing internal NPS for IT services as a baseline, driving measurable reductions in ticket volume and mean time to resolution, and reporting transparently on the agentic infrastructure layer.
YOUR PROFILE:
- You have proven experience leading an IT or infrastructure function at a scale-up or regulated tech company — including ownership of core IT operations such as helpdesk, MDM, identity management, and workplace technology. You know what it takes to run these reliably while simultaneously raising the ambition of what the function can be.
- You have built or are capable of building a platform mindset in a team that has historically operated as a support function — you understand what that shift requires culturally, structurally, and in terms of how success gets measured.
- You bring strong enough technical depth to have credible, substantive conversations with engineers — you can interrogate technical decisions, ask the right questions, and know when to push back.
- You are security-literate and have hands-on experience setting security strategy: you understand the threat landscape, have navigated compliance and audit obligations in a regulated environment, and know what good security posture looks like at both the infrastructure and application layer.
- You have experience with agentic or AI infrastructure, or you bring genuine curiosity and a track record of fast learning in emerging technical domains — this space is moving quickly, and so are we.
- You have managed vendors and external partners, including evaluating and making build/buy/outsource decisions, and you're comfortable owning those relationships end to end.
- You are familiar with the compliance and data obligations that come with operating in a regulated environment — financial services, tax, or similar — and you've translated those obligations into practical infrastructure and process decisions.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and energised by the opportunity to help shape a function that is being designed in real time — you don't wait for a playbook; you help write it.
- You grow the people around you: you see early-career team members and ambitious engineers as people to invest in, and you create the conditions for them to do their best work.
- You are ego-light: you are comfortable with invisible success — the best outcome is that teams don't notice IT because everything works — and you are willing to tell leadership when a request isn't feasible and explain why in terms that land.
WHY TAXFIX?
- A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.
- Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions.
- A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like.
- Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create.
- 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours.
- A generous learning budget to support your personal and professional development and guidance from our internal L&D experts.
- Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip.
- Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible.
- Free tax declaration filing, of course, through the Taxfix app—and internal support for all personal tax-related questions.
- Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Japan is one of the most sophisticated enterprise technology markets in the world, and one where partners, not vendors, typically own the customer relationship. The Head of Partnerships, Japan will build and lead the team that makes Anthropic's partner ecosystem the primary route to Japanese enterprise.
You will set the partner strategy for Japan, develop the team that executes it, and own the partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, revenue and attach rate for the country. You will personally lead our most strategic partner relationships at the executive level while coaching your team to do the same across the GSI, regional SI, and reseller landscape.
This is a player-coach role for an experienced partner leader who has built and scaled partner businesses in Japan before, ideally for a US technology company entering or growing in the market. You will work day to day with the Japan sales leadership and the in-region Applied AI team, represent Japan within Anthropic's International Partnerships organisation, and carry the voice of Japanese partners and customers into our global product and go-to-market decisions.
Key responsibilities
Lead and build the team
Hire, develop and retain a high-performing Japan partner team spanning GSI, regional SI and reseller coverage, sized and structured to the market opportunity
Set clear goals, territories and partner portfolios for each team member, and hold the team accountable to pipeline, revenue and attach-rate outcomes
Establish the team's operating cadence: one-on-ones, weekly pipeline reviews, deal inspection, partner QBRs and quarterly business planning
Coach the team on executive engagement, joint business planning and co-selling in Japanese enterprise accounts, and model those behaviours personally
Set and own the Japan partner strategy
Define which partner segments, partners and motions Anthropic prioritises in Japan, and in what sequence, based on revenue potential, customer reach and strategic fit
Design the partner coverage model across our partner landscape (NTT DATA, Fujitsu, NEC, Hitachi, Accenture and others), and where we go deep vs. broad.
Localise Anthropic's global partner program for Japan, including tiers, incentives, enablement paths and rules of engagement, and feed Japan requirements back into the global program design
Own the annual and quarterly partner business plan for Japan and report on it to International Partnerships leadership
Lead our most strategic partnerships
Own the executive relationships with Anthropic's most consequential partners in Japan, from joint business planning through to board-level sponsorship on both sides
Negotiate and structure partnership agreements, including resale, co-development and revenue-sharing constructs, working with Legal, Finance and Deal Desk
Lead the creation of joint solutions and industry offerings with partner practices in manufacturing, financial services, retail, telecommunications, life sciences and the public sector
Own partner pipeline, revenue and attach rate
Carry the Japan partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline and revenue targets, and the partner attach-rate target, for the team
Run a disciplined forecast with the team and with Japan sales leadership, ensuring partner deals are registered, progressed and closed with predictability
Decide where to deploy partner investments (market development funds, enablement, co-marketing, headcount) for the highest return
Build the reporting and systems hygiene that gives International Partnerships and Anthropic leadership a clear, trusted view of the Japan partner business
Represent Japan and drive cross-functional execution
Act as the single point of accountability for the partner business in Japan with Japan sales leadership, the Applied AI organisation, Marketing, Legal and Product
Ensure Japanese partner and customer requirements, including language, data residency, security and sovereignty needs, are understood and prioritised by global product and engineering teams
Partner with the Japan sales leader to embed partners into account planning and co-selling for the country's priority accounts
Resolve channel conflict between direct sales, SIs and resellers, and set the rules of engagement that keep the ecosystem healthy as it grows
Be the face of Anthropic's partner ecosystem in Japan
Represent Anthropic at partner executive forums, industry conferences and analyst engagements related to the partner ecosystem
Sponsor the development of Japanese customer success stories, delivered with partners, that resonate with Japanese enterprise buyers
Build Anthropic's reputation as the partner-first AI company in Japan through the way your team shows up every day
Minimum qualifications
Experience in enterprise technology, with a substantial portion leading partner, alliances or channel businesses in Japan
People leadership experience over partner or alliance teams, with a track record of hiring, developing and retaining strong performers
Direct experience building a partner business in Japan for a US or global technology company, ideally through a period of rapid growth or market entry (hyperscaler, enterprise SaaS, data or AI platform)
Proven ownership of partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue targets at a country or regional level, with the forecasting discipline to match
Established executive relationships with Japan's major system integrators, consulting firms, and a reputation they would vouch for
Experience negotiating complex partnership structures: resale agreements, joint solution development, and revenue-sharing or incentive models
Demonstrated ability to operate as a player-coach, personally owning strategic relationships while building a team that scales beyond you
Comfort shaping strategy in ambiguity and turning it into an operating plan, while working closely with global teams in other time zones
Business-level fluency in Japanese and English, and the cultural fluency to move between Japanese enterprise norms and a fast-moving US company
Based in Tokyo
Preferred qualifications
15 to 20+ years in enterprise technology leading partner, alliances or channel businesses in Japan and 5+ years of people leadership over partner or alliance teams
Experience with AI, data or cloud platform partnerships specifically, including partner-built solutions and marketplace motions
Experience on the partner side, inside a Japanese SI or distributor, and an understanding of how those organisations make decisions
Experience localising a global partner program for Japan and influencing its design
Experience working alongside professional services or applied AI teams to deliver partner-led customer outcomes
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Notion is reimagining how enterprise software is sold and the Solutions Consultant is the cornerstone of that model. As a SC, you’ll own the full customer journey: from first meeting through workflow design, commercial close, workflow implementation, expansion & renewal planning. You are the single owner of your accounts, accountable for ensuring what you sell actually gets realized. You’ll build live in front of customers, translate workflow designs into commercial outcomes, and be a trusted partner with genuine continuity across the entire relationship. If you’re a builder who loves to sell—and you want to work at the intersection of AI, productivity, and enterprise—this is the role.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE
- Own the full customer lifecycle—new logo, expansion, and renewal—as the single account owner for your book of business, with responsibility for ensuring credits sold translate into credits consumed
- Design and build workflow solutions live with customers: the discovery is the demo, not the slide deck—you’ll run discovery, design current-to-future-state workflow architecture, and co-build in Notion with the customer
- Partner with BDRs on target account planning and co-own the outbound motion for your book, running direct outreach to priority stakeholders alongside BDR-sourced pipeline
- Navigate commercial sizing, proposal construction, procurement, legal, and security review to close deals with the right scope, credits, and implementation path
- Guide customers through early implementation with a clear adoption plan and handoff to Outcomes Architects for ongoing multi-workflow expansion
- Partner with Outcomes Architects (OA) on onboarding, adoption plans, expansion strategies, and renewal execution—owning the commercial arc while OAs drive day-to-day workflow adoption
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING
- 1-3 years of experience selling technical products to technical buyers
- Technical fluency and genuine comfort building live in software—you can demo, co-design, and troubleshoot in front of a customer without a specialist in the room
- Strong discovery and qualification instincts, with the ability to map customer workflows and translate them into commercial outcomes and adoption plans
- Experience running complex, multi-stakeholder interactions including procurement, legal, and security review cycles
- You can own the room - you operate with agency and urgency to bring new ideas and workflows to our customers and present simple ways to solve complex problems
- You’re obsessed with AI, constantly building with the newest tools & learning new ways of working
NICE TO HAVES
- Full-cycle B2B software sales experience or solutions engineering experience with a consistent track record of exceeding quota across new logo acquisition and expansion motions
- Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based pricing models and the ability to structure credit-based commercial proposals
- Prior experience selling to mid-market and enterprise accounts in productivity, collaboration, or workflow software
- Experience in a shared account ownership model, partnering with a post-sale or CS team as part of an integrated customer motion
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role's scope and complexity, and the candidate's experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. The estimated range for total on target earnings (including base salary and on target incentive pay) for this role is €144,000 - €156,000 per year.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

What you’ll do

Act as a senior company spokesperson and prepare executives and subject-matter experts for media engagements.
Advise leaders and protect Flo’s reputation
Serve as a trusted communications adviser to the CEO, CMO, executive leadership team, and other senior stakeholders.
Build distinctive thought leadership platforms for Flo’s executives, doctors, scientists, and researchers.
Lead issues management and crisis communications, including scenario planning, escalation protocols, response strategies, and spokesperson preparation.
Anticipate reputational risks across reproductive health, medical claims, data privacy, AI, and public policy.
Provide clear, composed counsel under pressure, balancing transparency, empathy, legal considerations, medical accuracy, and the needs of Flo’s community.
Lead the function
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global communications team.
Manage PR agencies and specialist partners across priority markets.
Own the communications budget and allocate resources against the highest-impact priorities.
Establish strong global processes while allowing for local cultural and media nuance.

What you’ll bring
Significant progressive experience in public relations and corporate communications within a high-profile, consumer-facing organization.
A track record of leading global communications strategies that strengthen reputation and support business growth.
Experience in digital health, healthcare, consumer technology, or another complex and highly regulated sector.

Strong relationships with relevant global media, or a demonstrated ability to build them.
Experience translating technical, medical, scientific, or data-led subjects into clear and compelling narratives.
Sound judgment when navigating sensitive issues, incomplete information, and public scrutiny.

You combine high standards with pragmatism, remain calm under pressure, and build strong relationships across disciplines and geographies. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead the enterprise readiness and platform modernization strategy for SaaS Manager, 1Password’s product for helping organizations discover, understand, and govern the applications their employees use. You’ll shape a multi-quarter roadmap across data ingestion, integrations, reliability, admin experiences, and responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities, connecting deep technical decisions to customer and business outcomes. Reporting to the Director of Product, SaaS Manager, this remote role is open to candidates based in the United States or Canada.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
• 8+ years of product management experience, including end-to-end strategy and roadmap ownership for Business-to-Business (B2B) Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
• Technical fluency with integrations, application programming interfaces (APIs), data pipelines, platform architecture, and the trade-offs involved in building for enterprise scale.
• Experience leading complex, multi-quarter initiatives across Product, Engineering, Design, Security, Privacy, and other cross-functional teams.
• Strong product discovery, problem framing, iterative validation, prioritization, and success measurement skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain recommendations, trade-offs, and risks to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with SaaS management, license management, IT asset management, identity and access management, cybersecurity, or other technically complex enterprise products.
• Experience with third-party SaaS ecosystems, including single sign-on (SSO), System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM), OAuth, audit logs, or similar integration patterns, as well as responsible AI-assisted product development.
What you can expect:
• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for SaaS Manager’s platform modernization and enterprise readiness initiatives.
• Lead discovery with customers, internal partners, and data to identify the highest-impact enterprise problems and workflows.
• Determine how capabilities such as data ingestion, near-real-time processing, integrations, observability, and admin experiences should be sequenced to deliver customer value.
• Partner with Engineering and Design to evaluate architecture options, clarify requirements, and translate complex problems into shippable milestones.
• Define success metrics and work with Product Analytics and Data partners to measure reliability, adoption, customer impact, and business outcomes.
• Align multiple Product and Engineering teams around priorities, decisions, dependencies, and delivery risks.
• Coordinate launches, go-to-market readiness, customer feedback, and ongoing iteration as the product evolves.

If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.

ABOUT SUPABASE
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) Leader owns the health, direction, and performance of the Technical Account Management function. Where an individual TAM is the primary technical partner for their own portfolio of accounts, the TAM Leader is accountable for the entire TAM book — every account covered by the team, every partner relationship with a technical dimension, and the people who deliver against them.
The TAM Leader is both a player and a coach: they carry direct accountability for coverage decisions, escalation outcomes, and cross-functional alignment, while spending the majority of their time developing the individual TAMs so the team's proactive, relationship-first approach scales without becoming a response channel.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
PEOPLE LEADERSHIP & TEAM DEVELOPMENT
The TAM Leader hires, coaches, and grows the TAM team so each member operates as a credible, proactive technical partner to their accounts. This includes:
- Hiring and onboarding new TAMs, including running them through the TAM Path ramp
- Running regular 1:1s, setting individual development plans, and giving direct feedback on account plans, QBRs, and escalation handling
- Building and maintaining repeatable playbooks (upgrade runbooks, optimization playbooks, escalation patterns) so quality doesn't depend on tenure
- Setting and holding the team to a consistent bar for technical depth, proactivity, and communication
PORTFOLIO & COVERAGE OWNERSHIP
The TAM Leader owns the coverage model for the entire function — deciding, tracking, and refreshing who is assigned where, and closing gaps as they surface. This includes the two account universes the role is accountable for:
- Named accounts — the full book currently ~$33.1M ARR across 120 accounts split across the team, capped at 20 accounts per TAM
- Partner-mapped accounts — every partner with a named Technical Account Manager spanning Strategic AI, Growth, and Other tiers
- Running the quarterly review/refresh of assigned accounts, rebalancing books as ARR and strategic relationships shift
- Resolving open coverage gaps (e.g. regions or account types with no TAM alignment) and deciding when a controlled exception, a new hire, or a change in tier definition is the right fix
- Approving leadership-discretion assignments and cap exceptions, and making the trim/reassign calls when an account is dropped for capacity
CUSTOMER TECHNICAL OWNERSHIP (OVERSIGHT)
The TAM Leader ensures every assigned account — named or partner-mapped — has a clear, accountable technical owner. They spot-check account documentation, architecture understanding, and risk tracking across the book, and step in directly on the most strategic or highest-risk accounts.
ONBOARDING AND ADOPTION (OVERSIGHT)
The TAM Leader ensures the team consistently shortens time to value for new accounts by:
- Auditing that architecture and deployment validation is happening post-sale, not skipped
- Coaching TAMs on configuration guidance and best-practice delivery
- Tracking early success milestones across the portfolio, not just account by account
PROACTIVE TECHNICAL GUIDANCE (OVERSIGHT)
The TAM Leader ensures environment reviews and risk/optimization surfacing happen on a regular cadence across the whole book, covering scalability, reliability, security, and lifecycle planning — and holds the team accountable when reviews lapse.
ISSUE MANAGEMENT AND ESCALATION
The TAM Leader is the escalation layer above the individual TAM — brought in on complex, high-impact, or multi-stakeholder issues rather than replacing the TAM as primary contact. This includes:
- Coordinating across support, engineering, and success during major incidents
- Owning execution of the Named Account Escalation SLA sequence when it's triggered
- Ensuring root cause analysis and preventative action actually close out, not just the immediate fire
- Isolating TAMs from technical repair work so they can stay focused on the relationship while the right team handles the fix
STRATEGIC TECHNICAL PLANNING (OVERSIGHT)
The TAM Leader ensures account plans across the book stay aligned to customer roadmaps, and personally engages on capacity, architecture, or growth planning for the largest or most strategic accounts and partners.
INTERNAL COLLABORATION
ENGINEERING AND PRODUCT
The TAM Leader represents the aggregated voice of the customer — patterns across accounts, not just one-off feedback — to engineering and product, and prioritizes which recurring pain points or gaps get pushed for a fix versus handled as one-offs.
SUPPORT
The TAM Leader maintains the operating agreement between TAM and Support (TAMs are not frontline support) and is the point of escalation when that boundary needs adjudicating on a specific account.
SALES AND CUSTOMER SUCCESS
The TAM Leader partners with Sales and Success leadership on account health and retention at the portfolio level — surfacing which accounts or partners are trending at risk, and where TAM coverage itself needs to change to protect NRR.
PARTNERSHIPS
Because the TAM Leader owns the Technical Account Manager assignments inside the Partner Mappings, they work directly with each partner's Account Quarterback, Partner Manager, and Solutions Architect to make sure the technical relationship keeps pace with partner stage (Prospecting through Scaling) and tier (Strategic AI, Growth, Other) — while staying out of commercial terms, which live with the Partner Manager.
SUCCESS METRICS
Common indicators of TAM Leader effectiveness include:
- Coverage: % of the $33.1M+ named-account book and partner-mapped accounts with an assigned, active TAM
- Team health: ramp time to productivity for new TAMs, retention of the TAM team itself
- Customer adoption and usage depth across the book
- Reduction in critical incidents and time to resolution for escalated issues, portfolio-wide
- Customer satisfaction and retention (NRR) across named and partner-mapped accounts
- Consistency: QBR completion rate and account plan quality across the team, not just top performers
TOOLS USED BY THE TAM TEAM
This section documents the tools and systems used by the Technical Account Management team. It is intended to be kept up to date as tooling evolves.
- Admin Studio
- Grafana
- Hex
- pgAdmin
- HubSpot (account ARR, tier, and health data)
- Notion — Draft TAM Accounts doc and Partner Mappings database
SCOPE OF COVERAGE
The TAM Leader is accountable for the full combined book the function covers, not a single portfolio:
1. Named accounts — every account already assigned to one of the individual TAMs, plus resolution of open decisions such as the current APAC coverage gap
2. Partner-mapped accounts — ensuring every partner that warrants a technical relationship has a named TAM against it, and that the mapping stays current as partners move through Stage and Tier
ACCOUNT MAPPING
TAM Standard (Pooled)
1. Spend — For customers at $100K ARR, access to pooled TAM resources for a set (time TBD) hours per month
2. Pooled TAM SKU — Customers of any scale can purchase pooled access to the TAM team (requires Enterprise Support SKU)
3. Leadership Discretion for Customer Needs
TAM Premium (Dedicated)
1. Spend — For customers at $250K ARR, access to a dedicated TAM resource for a set (time TBD) hours per month
2. Dedicated TAM SKU — Customers of any scale can purchase an assigned TAM (requires Enterprise Support SKU)
3. Leadership Discretion for Customer Needs
The TAM Leader owns tier decisions, the quarterly refresh of this mapping, and any leadership-discretion exceptions.
WHAT TAM LEADERS DO NOT DO
To keep the function focused and scaling, the TAM Leader does not:
- Replace the individual TAM as an account's day-to-day technical relationship owner — accounts scale by layering support on, not by handing off
- Perform day-to-day operational work for customers
- Own or negotiate commercial terms for either named accounts or partner deals — that stays with the AE or Partner Manager
- Act as professional services for custom implementations
- Manage frontline support case queues
IDEAL INDIVIDUAL
A world-class Technical Account Manager Leader at Supabase has done the individual TAM job well and now wants to multiply it across a team.
- Technical depth — Same bar as an individual TAM: can go deep on database internals, scalability, security posture, and infrastructure tradeoffs, and can still credibly work a strategic account directly when needed
- People leadership — Has hired, coached, and grown a technical team before; gives direct, specific feedback and knows how to develop someone from good to great
- Portfolio-level judgment — Can look across 100+ accounts and a partner book and tell where coverage is thin, where an account should move tiers, and where to spend leadership discretion
- Escalation command — Comfortable being the senior voice in a high-severity, multi-stakeholder incident, coordinating support, engineering, and success without adding noise
- Cross-functional influence at altitude — Represents patterns across the whole book to engineering, product, sales, and partnerships leadership — not just one account's feedback
- Communication clarity — Can brief an executive on portfolio health and coach a TAM through a root cause analysis in the same day
- Retention and expansion awareness — Understands that TAM Leader performance shows up in aggregate NRR across the book; proactively rebalances coverage toward the accounts and partners most at risk
- Experience — Background in engineering, SRE, or technical consulting, plus a track record of leading a technical customer-facing team
SUMMARY
The Technical Account Manager Leader exists to make sure every account and partner relationship the TAM function is accountable for — the full Draft TAM Accounts book and the entire Partner Mappings coverage — has a technical owner, and that the team delivering against it keeps getting better.
