From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the role
The Global Alliance Lead is one of the most strategically important roles in our Ecosystem. You will own our relationship with one of the world's leading technology and transformation partners end-to-end — from C-suite engagement through to practitioner enablement and joint pipeline creation. You will be the architect of how the GSI and NewCo go to market together, ensuring our platform becomes the trusted data foundation inside the GSI’s agentic AI delivery practice globally.
This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Global Head of GSI Relationships. You will orchestrate across sales, partner solution architecture, marketing, and partner operations — bringing the full weight of the organisation to bear on one of our highest-leverage commercial relationships.
What You'll Do
Relationship strategy and executive engagement
Own the global GSI relationship at partner and C-suite level, building trusted relationships with Client, practice and delivery team leads.
Define and execute a multi-year joint strategy that positions dbt + Fivetran as the default open data infrastructure layer within the GSI’s enterprise AI and agentic workflow delivery
Represent NewCo at GSI’s internal forums, client briefings, and industry events — articulating a compelling narrative around open data infrastructure and its relevance to the GSI’s strategy.
Platform integration and practitioner adoption
Drive adoption of the dbt + Fivetran platform within GSI delivery teams — ensuring practitioners, solution architects and practice leads are certified, confident, and actively recommending the platform in client engagements
Work with GSI's practice leadership to embed NewCo's platform into their business groups, standard delivery architectures, RFP responses and client proposals — with particular focus on GSI's Data & AI practices
Enablement and go-to-market
Design and execute a frictionless enablement programme for GSI practitioners globally — certifications, reference architectures, use case playbooks, and joint delivery assets
Partner with GSI's marketing and alliances teams to develop joint go-to-market campaigns anchored to open data infrastructure, trusted AI delivery, and closing the gap between AI POC and production
Support GSI in building and positioning client-facing agentic AI value accelerators — with NewCo platform as the foundational data layer — the "NewCo inside" model
Pipeline and opportunity development
Source and develop new pipeline opportunities through the GSI relationship — identifying client situations where open data infrastructure creates measurable value.
Drive co-sell motions alongside GSI account teams, ensuring NewCo is present and influential at the point of client opportunity
Maintain a rigorous view of GSI-engaged pipeline — tracking opportunity sourcing, progression, and closed business attributed to the alliance
Telemetry and performance
Define and track the signals that indicate a healthy, high-performing GSI relationship: certifications, sourced opportunities, platform deployments, practitioner engagement, and joint wins
Report regularly to the Global Head of GSI Relationships on alliance health, pipeline contribution, and strategic progress
Identify risks and gaps in the relationship early and mobilise internal resources to address them
What you will bring
15+ years of experience in strategic alliances, enterprise sales, or partner management within the data, cloud, or enterprise software industry
Demonstrated experience managing complex, global relationships with major consulting firms or global system integrators at a senior level
Deep understanding of the modern data stack and the business value of open data infrastructure — dbt, Fivetran, or equivalent experience strongly preferred
Ability to engage credibly at C-suite and partner level within a global consulting organisation — understanding how GSIs make decisions, build practices, and go to market
Strong commercial instincts — able to identify, thoroughly qualify and develop joint pipeline opportunities, not just manage existing relationships
Track record of operating as a cross-functional orchestrator — influencing without direct authority across sales, engineering, marketing, and operations
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills — able to translate technical platform capabilities into compelling business narratives for consulting and enterprise audiences
Familiarity with AI, agentic workflows, and the data governance landscape is a strong advantage + strong knowledge of GSI's operating model and contacts within.
Willingness to travel globally to engage GSI leadership and teams across regions
What Success Looks Like in Year One
A clearly defined joint strategy with GSI signed off at partner Executive level and on track to primary Global Strategic Practice.
Material increase in GSI practitioner certifications and active platform deployments across Data & AI and Insights & Data practices
GSI-sourced pipeline contributing measurably to NewCo's revenue
At least two joint go-to-market campaigns live in the market delivering pipeline — anchored to GSI's agentic AI and trusted data agenda
First client-facing agentic value accelerators built on NewCo platform delivered with GSI — positioning NewCo as the trusted data infrastructure inside GSI's AI delivery
A telemetry framework in place tracking alliance health and pipeline influence
Why This Role
This is a rare opportunity to own a marquee relationship at a defining moment for both companies. GSI’s are publicly committing to capturing the full value of the agentic AI revolution for customers — and the merged dbt + Fivetran platform is the trusted data infrastructure that makes AI production-ready. The person who builds this alliance well will sit at the intersection of the two most important forces in enterprise technology right now: the scale of a global systems integrator and the open infrastructure that makes AI trustworthy enough to deploy at scale.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Engineering Manager for Product Engineers, you will lead a group of talented builders creating the core developer experience of the Render platform. This role blends strong technical leadership with product thinking: you’ll partner closely with product managers and designers to translate user needs into high-quality, scalable systems that developers rely on every day. You’ll be responsible for guiding technical direction, developing engineers, building the team, and ensuring the team ships meaningful improvements quickly while maintaining the high standards that define Render’s platform. The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering background, a deep sense of ownership, and a passion for building products that developers love.

- Partner closely with Product and Design teams to translate customer needs into thoughtful technical solutions and product roadmaps.
- Engage deeply in technical discussions, guiding system design decisions and helping the team navigate architectural tradeoffs.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across engineering practices and team processes.
- Help the team break down complex problems into incremental milestones that deliver value quickly while supporting long-term platform evolution.
- Ensure teams maintain a strong understanding of the developer experience and customer impact of the features they build.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with product management, customers, and internal teams to understand needs, align priorities, and ensure delivery of impactful features and solutions.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 8+ years as an Engineer shipping products and/or features that have downstream impact on the business and product ecosystem
- 4+ years of experience managing people and developing engineers, including hiring, mentorship, and performance management.
- Strong technical background with the ability to engage deeply in system design, architecture, and engineering tradeoffs.
- Product-oriented mindset with experience translating business goals and user needs into engineering roadmaps and shipped features.
- A track record of successful collaboration with product, marketing, and customer support teams to drive adoption and retention.
- Ability to balance urgency with thoughtful execution, helping teams ship quickly while maintaining high quality. Able to turn ambiguous problems into achievable goals.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and design.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability for both team outcomes and long-term system health.
- Experience improving engineering velocity through tooling, processes, and team practices.
NICE-TO-HAVES:
- Experience building products for developer platforms, cloud infrastructure, or DevTools.
- Background working on highly scalable distributed systems or infrastructure platforms.
- Experience building products used directly by developers or technical users.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.

This work is redefining compute with features like Fluid Compute, Persistent Sandboxes, and Custom Images.
As a Software Engineer on the Persistence team, you'll work on the infrastructure that runs 100s of instances across every region where our customers deploy code, rethinking low-level primitives and contributing to platform features that improve the experience for thousands of developers every day.
This role is based in

What you'll do
Manage and improve our fleet of clusters, running 100s of instances deployed in every region where our customers deploy and run their code.
Write Golang on a daily basis and use Terraform to provision infrastructure; you'll get to know Nomad as our scheduler for managing workloads.
Rethink the primitives of our infrastructure — working with virtual filesystems, Linux primitives, and low-level virtualisation.
Own the reliability and performance of our compute platform, including on-call coverage for a team where every improvement has outsized impact at scale.
Collaborate across teams to drive the convergence of all compute at Vercel.
What you need
5+ years of software engineering experience, with Golang strongly preferred.
Deep experience with virtual machines, file systems and Linux — you like knowing how things work under the hood (tcpdump, strace, and iptables are familiar tools).
Experience building and operating distributed systems at scale; you design for performance and reliability.
Experience with schedulers and orchestrators for managing containers and non-containerised workloads (e.g. Nomad, Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a genuine enthusiasm for digging into problems that don't have obvious solutions.
Bonus if you
Have worked on low-level virtualisation or sandbox execution environments.
Have product engineering experience and care about the developer-facing impact of infrastructure decisions.
Have experience with on-call operations for large-scale distributed systems.
Benefits:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

Build and manage a two-gate strategic investment review process: all investments above a defined IRR threshold (≥25% IRR on Base scenario; positive IRR on Bear / Winter Mode scenario) require FP&A-endorsed investment cases before Board approval
Provide go/no-go financial analysis for all new market entries, new product launches, M&A opportunities, and strategic partnerships
4. Board & Executive Reporting
Produce the monthly and quarterly financial package for the Board of Directors and Management Team — concise, with clear variance commentary, updated forecasts, and strategic recommendations
Lead the FP&A input into the monthly Management Team Reporting cycle
Support the CEO and CFO in preparation for Board meetings, Audit Committee reviews, and any investor committee meetings requiring financial presentation

Job Description
We're hiring our first Head of Partnerships to own and grow the relationships that matter most to Metabase: the AI platforms and data warehouse vendors our customers build on every day. You'll work both ends of these relationships — building alignment with partner leadership teams, and building trust with individual sellers and solutions engineers who influence deals in the field. This is a senior, high-ownership role for someone who's built a partnerships function from the ground up before and wants to do it again, at a company loved by hundreds of thousands in the community.
What you’ll do:
Own and deepen Metabase's relationships with our key technical and go-to-market partners, with a near-term focus on major AI vendors and data warehouse providers
Build multi-threaded relationships at both the seller/field level and the partner leadership level, so Metabase stays top-of-mind at every layer of the partnership
Design and run co-selling and co-marketing motions that turn partner relationships into pipeline, not just goodwill
Represent Metabase in strategic conversations with partners ; negotiating priorities, resolving friction, and identifying where deeper technical or commercial integration creates mutual value
Build the systems, cadences, and reporting that turn partnerships from a set of relationships into a repeatable, measurable function
Identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities as Metabase's ecosystem grows
Act as the internal voice of our partners ; surfacing their roadmaps, priorities, and constraints to Sales, Marketing, and Product
What we’re looking for:
8+ years in partnerships, business development, or a related go-to-market role, with real ownership of partner relationships end-to-end
Experience building a partnerships function at a small, scaling startup — you've operated with limited playbooks and built the process as you went, not just executed an existing one
Comfortable operating at multiple altitudes: equally credible in a room with an AE or SE as in a room with a VP or Head of Partnerships
A track record of turning partner relationships into measurable pipeline and revenue, not just logos on a slide
Excellent written and verbal communicator who can represent Metabase credibly to technical and commercial audiences alike
Bonus: existing relationships within the AI or data warehouse ecosystems
Bonus: experience in open-source, developer tools, or data infrastructure companies
Qualities we’re looking/testing for
Ownership
Comfortable with experiments
Ability to create from scratch
Comfort at different altitudes (IC to VP)
Compensation
The US base salary range for this role is $175K–$250K annually, plus equity and benefits.
Compensation is determined by role, level, location, and individual qualifications, including skills, experience, and scope of responsibility. Pay may vary by geographic location and other job-related factors.
Benefits
We offer meaningful equity and a comprehensive US benefits package, including fully employer-covered medical, dental, and vision insurance (with 75% coverage for dependents), a 401(k) with employer match available to enroll after the first 30 days, flexible and unlimited paid time off including sick time, and an asynchronous, remote-first environment.
We are looking for a full-time QA Engineer to join our team.
Requirements:
— 2+ years of experience in manual testing (Web / Mobile / Backend).
— Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, with the ability to create test cases and write clear bug reports.
— Understanding of client-server architecture and REST APIs.
— Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g. Jira) and test management tools.
— Basic knowledge of browser developer tools.
— English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
— Experience with test automation is required.
You will play a key role in establishing and expanding automation testing across the company.
We are looking for someone who:
— Takes ownership and treats product quality as their responsibility.
— Is proactive and continuously identifies opportunities to improve the product, processes, and testing strategy—not someone who simply executes assigned tasks.
— Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes are still being built and refined.
— Has a strong attention to detail and genuinely enjoys finding bugs before customers do.
— Thinks critically, challenges assumptions, and isn't afraid to ask questions.
— Enjoys collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Development teams to improve quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Important:
— You must be residing outside of Russia.
— You must have a personal bank account outside of Russia.

ABOUT US
Xsolla is a global video game commerce company that provides a comprehensive suite of tools and services for game developers and publishers - including payments, distribution, game stores, launcher solutions, and partner network services. Our platform processes transactions across 200+ geographies, supporting thousands of games and millions of players worldwide. Quality is not optional - it is foundational to every product we ship.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Director of QA is a senior technical leadership role responsible for owning and scaling Xsolla's quality engineering function across multiple product lines, teams, and time zones. You will define and drive the strategic vision for quality assurance - from test automation architecture and CI/CD integration to AI-assisted testing practices and performance engineering. You will lead a distributed organization of 30+ QA engineers and leads as part of a broader QA organization of 75+ professionals, ensuring predictable, high-quality releases across every product Xsolla delivers. This is not a management-only position. You must be deeply technical - capable of reviewing automation code, architecting test frameworks, debugging CI/CD pipelines, and evaluating AI-driven testing approaches hands-on.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Ownership
Define and execute the QA strategy across all Xsolla products, aligning quality objectives with business goals and product roadmaps.
Own QA deliverables end-to-end - from test planning through release sign-off - and be accountable for outcomes, not just activities.
Establish and enforce quality gates, defect governance policies, and release readiness criteria across all product teams.
Drive organizational maturity: evolve the QA function from reactive testing to proactive quality engineering embedded in every stage of the
SDLC
.
Represent QA at the executive level - articulate quality risks, tradeoffs, and resource needs to VP/C-level stakeholders with clarity and data.
Technical Excellence
Architect and oversee enterprise-grade test automation frameworks spanning UI (Playwright), API, database validation (SQL), and performance testing (K6).
Define and maintain standards for test code quality - including code reviews,
PR
contributions, reusable libraries, and modular test design.
Deep understanding of
Git workflows
- branching strategies, merge request reviews, repository hygiene, and code versioning best practices across multiple repositories.
Expert-level knowledge of
CI/CD pipelines
- design, optimize, and troubleshoot automated build, test, and deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
Ensure all automation is fully integrated into CI/CD pipelines, with clear pass/fail signals, automated regression gates, and performance benchmarks at every release stage.
Drive adoption of
infrastructure-as-code
practices for test environments - containerized test execution, ephemeral environments, and environment parity between staging and production.
Evaluate, select, and implement QA tooling - including test management platforms (Qase), observability tools, and defect tracking integrations.
AI Integration & Innovation
Proven track record of using AI in day-to-day QA activities
- not aspirational, but demonstrated. You have used AI tools to generate test cases, write automation code, analyze test results, identify flaky tests, or accelerate debugging.
Champion and operationalize AI-assisted quality engineering across the organization - specifically using
Claude AI
for code generation, test design, automation scripting, and documentation.
Define governance frameworks for AI-generated test artifacts - validation, review, and sign-off processes to ensure AI outputs meet quality standards.
Stay current with AI/ML advancements relevant to testing - intelligent test selection, predictive defect analysis, autonomous test generation, and self-healing automation.
Establish metrics to measure the impact of AI adoption on QA velocity, coverage, and defect detection rates.
Team Leadership & People Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed team of
30+ QA professionals
- including QA Leads, Senior QA Engineers, and QA Engineers - across
multiple time zones
(Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific).
Build a high-performance culture rooted in ownership, technical excellence, continuous learning, and psychological safety.
Conduct regular 1:1s, career development conversations, and performance reviews. Identify and grow future QA leaders.
Design and implement onboarding programs, skill development paths, and technical training curricula - including AI literacy for all QA team members.
Manage resource allocation and capacity planning across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring predictable and sustainable QA delivery.
Navigate cross-cultural team dynamics with sensitivity and effectiveness - a truly global team requires a global leadership mindset.
Process Rigor & Quality Governance
Enforce rigorous QA processes across the organization: •
Test case management
: Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases in
Qase
with full traceability (pass, fail, blocked statuses).
Bug documentation
: Ensure all staging bugs are filed with detailed reproduction steps, expected vs. actual behavior, environment details, screenshots/videos, and severity classification - following established training standards.
Automation framework documentation
: Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for all automation frameworks, ensuring any engineer can onboard and contribute.
QA Score
: Drive iterative improvements in QA Score metrics - tracking automation coverage, defect escape rate, test execution velocity, and regression stability.
Define and track QA KPIs and OKRs - present quality dashboards and trend analysis to leadership regularly.
Conduct root cause analysis on production escapes and implement systemic corrective actions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Release Management to embed quality practices into every phase of the development lifecycle.
Work effectively in
Agile/Scrum environments
- participate in and drive sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, and release ceremonies.
Act as the primary QA stakeholder for cross-functional initiatives - environment strategy, deployment automation, incident response, and post-mortem processes.
Build strong relationships with engineering leadership to ensure QA is not a bottleneck but an accelerator.
Common Expectations Across All QA Roles
Must be
technical and able to write code
for testing and automation.
Use
Claude AI
to assist in code creation, automation, and test design.
Follow QA processes rigorously: create and execute robust test cases in
Qase
, maintain clear documentation in automation frameworks, ensure traceability of executed test cases with statuses (pass, fail, blocked), and file
Staging Bugs
with detailed documentation following training standards.
Contribute to iterative improvements in QA Score and testing processes.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, analytical mindset, and commitment to continuous learning.

Required Qualifications
15+ years of experience in QA/Quality Engineering
, with at least
6+ years in Senior Manager or Director-level roles
.
Proven experience leading teams of 30+ people
distributed across multiple time zones and cultural contexts.
Hands-on technical proficiency
- you can write and review test automation code, not just manage people who do. Proficiency in one or more: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java.
Deep expertise in test automation frameworks
: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent for UI; REST/GraphQL API testing tools; database validation via SQL.
Performance testing experience
: K6, JMeter, Gatling, or Locust - designing, executing, and analyzing load/stress/soak tests.
Expert knowledge of Git
: branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based), pull request workflows, code review practices, repository management across multiple repos.
Expert knowledge of CI/CD
: designing and maintaining pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI), integrating automated tests into build/deploy workflows, debugging pipeline failures.
Demonstrated use of AI tools in professional QA work
- Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar - for test generation, automation coding, defect analysis, or process optimization. Provide specific examples.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
and experience operating within and across Agile teams.
Experience with test management platforms
(Qase, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar).
Excellent communication skills
- ability to present complex technical quality topics to non-technical stakeholders, write clear documentation, and influence without authority.

(or equivalent practical experience).

and data quality validation.
Background in establishing
QA Centers of Excellence
or transforming QA organizations from manual-heavy to automation-first.
