About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We are looking for a threat intel manager to build and run our CBRN-E & Advanced Weapons team within Threat Intelligence. This team detects, investigates, and disrupts attempts to misuse Anthropic's AI systems for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosives threats and for the development of advanced or novel weapons.
You will mature this from a promising start into a rigorous program, hiring investigators with real CBRN-E, weaponization, and counterproliferation expertise, sharpening detection beyond broad harm screens into threat-specific capabilities, and personally leading the cases where scientific judgment determines whether we're seeing curiosity, legitimate research, or a genuine weapons-development attempt. The area carries significant engagement with government, biosecurity, and scientific stakeholders.
Important context: In this position you may be exposed to explicit content spanning a range of topics, including those of a sexual, violent, or psychologically disturbing nature. This role may require responding to escalations during weekends and holidays.
Key responsibilities
Own strategy, priorities, and outcomes for the CBRN-E & Advanced Weapons mission area; mature it from an emerging function into a rigorous investigative program
Hire, manage, and develop a team of investigators with deep domain expertise across biological, chemical, and weapons-development threat areas
Personally lead investigations into attempts to use our systems to develop, enhance, or disseminate CBRN-E weapons, or advanced weapons capabilities
Evolve detection from broad harm screens toward CBRN-specific signals and methodologies tailored to dual-use research concerns, in partnership with our collections engineers
Set the analytic quality bar: cross-platform threat analysis grounded in real threat actor behavior, open-source research, and publicly reported weapons programs
Own escalation and enforcement decisions with policy and enforcement teams for the highest-severity misuse category we handle
Lead external engagement with government agencies, biosecurity and chemical-security research communities, and scientific organizations
Inform safety-by-design and capability-evaluation strategies by forecasting how threat actors will leverage frontier AI for CBRN-E purposes
Serve as a liaison to government partners, educating stakeholders on AI-enabled threats through regular reporting and briefings.
Minimum qualifications
Are an intelligence analyst, policy expert, or researcher with deep domain expertise in biosecurity, chemical defense, weapons non-proliferation, dual-use research of concern (DURC), or related CBRN-E threat domains
Have led investigative or analytic teams and are a senior domain expert with demonstrated mentorship and program-building experience ready to lead
Have experience with threat actor profiling, threat intelligence analysis frameworks, and collection frameworks
Have hands-on experience with large language models and how AI could be misused for CBRN-E threats
Have excellent stakeholder management skills across researchers, policy experts, legal teams, government, and external partners
Can present analytical work to technical and non-technical audiences, including government stakeholders and senior leadership
Preferred qualifications
Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in biological sciences, chemistry, biodefense, biosecurity, or a related field
Real-world experience countering weapons of mass destruction or other high-risk asymmetric threats in the intelligence community or defense organizations
Experience working with government agencies, defense/national security organizations, or in regulated environments handling sensitive CBRN-E programs, counterproliferation and threat analysis.
Background in AI safety, machine learning security, or technology abuse investigation
Experience building and scaling threat detection systems or abuse monitoring programs

We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.

We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

Your Role:
Tenable is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to drive the technical depth and strategic impact of our AWS GTM partnership. This is a high-visibility, field-facing role sitting at the intersection of partner engineering (co-build), co-sell execution, and AWS ecosystem strategy. You will be the primary technical voice for the AWS alliance — enabling Tenable field SEs and AWS SA’s globally, advancing joint go-to-market motions with AWS, and shaping how Tenable's exposure management platform is positioned alongside AWS-native services and marketplaces.
This is a backfill of an established Principal-level seat with deep internal and external stakeholder relationships already in place. The right candidate will be technically rigorous, comfortable operating at an executive level, executing against key goals and KPIs and energized by the complexity of partner-led sales motions.
Your Opportunity:
Serve as Tenable's primary technical liaison to AWS — building and maintaining relationships with AWS Partner SAs, Technical Account Managers, and the Amazon Bedrock team.
Own and lead the AWS technical enablement plan — Be the “connective tissue” evangelizing, designing and delivering structured enablement programs for Tenable field SEs (TFCs) and AWS customer-facing SAs, ensuring both sides of the co-sell motion are technically aligned on Tenable solutions and joint architectures.
Drive AWS competency application workstreams, including design wins, technical validation, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
Apply strong program management discipline across all partnership workstreams — owning milestones, owners, and deliverables for enablement programs, competency applications, co-sell pipeline, and executive reporting cycles.
Support and advance the AWS Marketplace and co-sell motion — including Salesforce-tracked pipeline, PRM tagging, and opportunity hygiene with field co-sell teams.
Contribute to the strategic narrative around Tenable and AWS AI/agentic architectures, including integrations with Amazon Bedrock and agentic frameworks.
Produce executive-facing reporting and synthesize partnership activity across Zoom transcripts, meeting notes, Slack, and CRM data.
Collaborate with field marketing on AWS-focused demand generation, EBC planning, and joint event participation.
Develop and maintain technical assets: architecture diagrams, integration guides, demo environments, and partner-facing solution briefs.
Support VP-level escalations and executive briefings when partner commitments or timelines are at risk.
Drive AWS Marketplace technical strategy and tactics, such as PRM, ties to ACE and developing AI co-sell.
Success in the First 90 Days
30 days: Has established working relationships with the Tenable Alliance Director, key AWS Partner SAs and internal co-sell and SE stakeholders; has a clear view of the current competency application status and active co-sell pipeline.
60 days: Is delivering enablement sessions to field SE teams and contributing to executive-facing reporting cycles independently.
90 days: Has a credible point of view on gaps in the current partner motion and a prioritized plan for closing them — including AWS Marketplace coverage, SA enablement pipeline, and technical asset gaps.
Develop, shape and approve 90 day plan along with the Technical Alliance Director, through end of year.
What You'll Need:
7+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Partner Engineering, or Technical Alliances — with at least 3 years in a cloud or SaaS context.
Deep, demonstrable AWS expertise across compute, networking, identity, security services, and marketplace mechanics. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification strongly preferred.
Experience working within or alongside a cloud provider's partner ecosystem (AWS, Azure, or GCP) — including co-sell motions, competency programs, or marketplace integrations.
Strong project management skills — demonstrated ability to run multiple concurrent workstreams with clear milestone tracking, stakeholder accountability, and on-time delivery across cross-functional teams.
Strong communicator capable of tailoring technical depth to field SE audiences, AWS partner contacts, and VP/C-suite stakeholders alike.
Comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g. generative AI assistants, AI-powered research and productivity tools) to accelerate work across enablement, documentation, and reporting.
Familiarity with CRM/Salesforce pipeline workflows and partner relationship management tooling.
And Ideally:
Experience with agentic AI architectures, LLM integrations, or Amazon Bedrock — either technically or as a go-to-market motion.
Background in cybersecurity — particularly vulnerability management, cloud security posture, or exposure management.
Familiarity with Tenable products (Tenable One, Tenable.io, Nessus) or competitive landscape.
Prior experience building or maintaining AWS Competency applications and achieving joint design wins.
